  59. 3:22where we directly apply the truth of scripture
  60. 3:25to contemporary conversations, all right?
  61. 3:29Which we often do, but this is, this today,
  62. 3:32you're gonna have a pronounced example of it.
  63. 3:36And we're gonna walk through.
  64. 3:38So if you're in a place,
  65. 3:39But you can get your Bibles out, I encourage you to do so.
  66. 3:42I know many of you are driving,
  67. 3:43go ahead and save this show to use later
  68. 3:47because I want to walk with you through this
  69. 3:51in an effort to aid our audience here
  70. 3:53and responding to some of the other tripe
  71. 3:57that is percolating throughout our society
  72. 4:00and frankly that the Lord warned us about.
  73. 4:02We're gonna begin the program today in Jude,
  74. 4:05Jude's Epistle.
  75. 4:08Jude's epistle chronologically follows 2nd Peter.
  76. 4:11So it was written there about the mid 60s AD.
  77. 4:19Boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy.
  78. 4:20The Lord warned us that this would come.
  79. 4:24And it's one of those things where, you know,
  80. 4:26I've done this before in conversations
  81. 4:28with people in real life.
  82. 4:29I've talked about this on the radio a bit,
  83. 4:34but the Lord warned us of the necessity of being ready
  84. 4:38to deal with, I'll call him the Twisters.
  85. 4:40I'm not talking about the game with the colored dots on it.
  86. 4:43You have people who are twisters.
  87. 4:47Jude said they pervert the grace of God.
  88. 4:51All right, Jude, I'll pick up right at verse three.
  89. 4:54If you've read the epistle, you know it's very short.
  90. 4:59Jude writes, beloved, although I was very eager
  91. 5:03to write to you about our common salvation
  92. 5:10and found it necessary to write appealing to you
  93. 5:14To contend some translations there include content earnestly for the faith that was once
  94. 5:22for all delivered to the saints, for certain people have crept in unnoticed or unaware.
  95. 5:31Who long ago were designated for this condemnation?
  96. 5:35Ungodly people who pervert or some translations there say who twist the grace of our God into
  97. 5:43sensuality or into lasciviousness and deny our only master and Lord Jesus Christ.
  98. 5:52The Lord warned us about this, that they will be false brethren, false teachers.
  99. 5:59And if you notice, the false brethren and the false teachers are not content with espousing
  100. 6:08their false notions over there somewhere, on the side somewhere.
  101. 6:12No, no, no, no.
  102. 6:13The false brethren are not content, you know, creating their own platforms and creating their
  103. 6:17own places and creating their own, uh, mechanisms from which to disseminate their tripe. No,
  104. 6:25no, no, no, no. See, the false brethren, they want to creep in. And I point to this because
  105. 6:30we rightly in the body of Christ point to the first century as a high watermark, if
  106. 6:36you will, for ecclesiology for the establishment of the Lord's church, which is right and appropriate
  107. 6:41to do. However, I want you to recognize that even in the first century, in the first century,
  108. 6:49false brethren sought to infiltrate the Lord's bride and destroy her from within, from which we
  109. 6:58should recognize there has never been a time in our family's history, that is ecclesiastical history,
  110. 7:05where the gospel has remained unassailed.
  111. 7:10The gospel and its authenticity
  112. 7:14and its accurate proclamation and practice
  113. 7:20has not been under siege, under attack,
  114. 7:24not under siege, but under attack.
  115. 7:27In the false brother and as the apostle Jude points it out here,
  116. 7:31they sought to infiltrate.
  117. 7:33Guys, it's the same strategy happening today.
  118. 7:38That's right, wolves and sheep's clothing.
  119. 7:40I want you to notice how the Lord articulates this
  120. 7:43by his spirit through the Apostle Jude.
  121. 7:47Jude wanted to talk about the wonder, the glory,
  122. 7:51the beauty of our common salvation.
  123. 7:54But that desire was interrupted by an urgent necessity
  124. 7:57to compel vigilance amongst the family of God,
  125. 8:02to compel earnest vigilance to contend for the faith.
  126. 8:10To contend for the faith now now here's here's the thing I'll call to contend we can contend without being contentious
  127. 8:19However, we cannot contend without contending
  128. 8:23See we live at a time period where people want to again false brethren
  129. 8:28The twisters, you know you call them the Chevy check at theologians
  130. 8:32Twist and shout you know they wanted the twisters, you know the twisters want to say oh
  131. 8:38Why are you so, so strong in your position?
  132. 8:43Why don't you leave a little wiggle room?
  133. 8:49What about grace?
  134. 8:51But grace, I got a friend who calls it Grace Mayonnaise,
  135. 8:54just splattered, smather Grace Mayonnaise over everything.
  136. 8:57You know?
  137. 8:59But this is what the word I got,
  138. 9:00but grace, but this is what the word,
  139. 9:02but grace, no brothers and sisters.
  140. 9:05Grace is not an excuse for lawlessness and rebellion.
  141. 9:09grace for the unregenerate is a part of what God uses to draw us to salvation.
  142. 9:18And once being born again, we don't use grace as a mechanism to live as rebellious,
  143. 9:24as rebels against the Lord, grace is what draws us to walk toward Him, to run toward Him, and hold
  144. 9:29it as agreeing with Him in sanctification to where we are made more and more like Jesus.
  145. 9:34thoughts and thoughts and deeds in disposition and in beliefs.
  146. 9:45I'm appealing to you to contend.
  147. 9:47You know what that means, family of God?
  148. 9:49That we have to contend.
  149. 9:52You hear that, Reed?
  150. 9:53We have to contend.
  151. 9:55That means there will be things that arise.
  152. 9:58There will be notions that arise.
  153. 9:59There will be circumstances that arise
  154. 10:01that requires the believer to contend.
  155. 10:05You understand what I'm saying?
  156. 10:07Second Corinthians chapter 10.
  157. 10:09The weapons of our warfare not carnal,
  158. 10:11but they have divine power.
  159. 10:13They are mighty through God for what?
  160. 10:15Destroying strongholds, destroying speculations,
  161. 10:20destroying ideologies, destroying our logismos.
  162. 10:25And any high thing exalted against Christ.
  163. 10:29I've explained before that that word is logismos.
  164. 10:32He's talking about ideologies.
  165. 10:36So when you read the whole scripture you recognize, man,
  166. 10:38there would be some people who would chubby check
  167. 10:40of theologians.
  168. 10:41And when I say theologians, don't just think
  169. 10:43someone in an Ivy tower of a seminary.
  170. 10:48You got corner Captain theologians.
  171. 10:50You got Disney theologians.
  172. 10:51You have media theologians, entertainment theologians.
  173. 10:58You have a whole phenomenon, I understand that,
  174. 11:01entertainment, but the whole concept of the multiverse
  175. 11:03is trying to rival God's articulation of creation.
  176. 11:05He made one verse, it's called a uni verse.
  177. 11:09It ain't multiple.
  178. 11:16There will be things with which we must, not can, must,
  179. 11:20contend.
  180. 11:22Jude is confronting here, false theologians.
  181. 11:25And then notice he says,
  182. 11:27we have to contend for the faith that's been once
  183. 11:29for all handed down to the saints.
  184. 11:30This is why I warn people,
  185. 11:31if somebody is coming up with something new, beware.
  186. 11:34Because the faith that we have is not new.
  187. 11:38It's been handed down once for all.
  188. 11:44So people who are disposed to looking for
  189. 11:46the freshest, latest, newest, be careful.
  190. 11:50because we're standing on as Hebrews 11 said,
  191. 11:53on the shoulders of those who've gone before us,
  192. 11:55who were in the Hall of Faith.
  193. 11:57Biblical history undergirds the truth of the gospel.
  194. 12:03Then Jew goes on for certain people, certain people,
  195. 12:06have crept in, unaware to unnoticed.
  196. 12:10And I've explained this before,
  197. 12:11what that means is that some of the false brethren,
  198. 12:14they know the vernacular, they know the lingo.
  199. 12:17Good morning, how you doing, brother?
  200. 12:18I'm blessed and highly flavored.
  201. 12:20You know, I'm high and going high, yes.
  202. 12:22Oh, God is good.
  203. 12:23Mm-hmm.
  204. 12:25They know the lingo.
  205. 12:30Some of them know the songs.
  206. 12:33Amazing grace.
  207. 12:39How sweet.
  208. 12:40If you start singing, they might harmonize with you.
  209. 12:43The sound.
  210. 12:45You know, they put it all on there.
  211. 12:47That saved.
  212. 12:48Hey, y'all know, they know the songs too.
  213. 12:51But that didn't mean they ain't false.
  214. 12:54False, brethren, who have crept in unaware
  215. 12:57and what do they do?
  216. 12:58They're ungodly people.
  217. 12:59What do they do?
  218. 13:00They pervert the grace of God.
  219. 13:02They twist the grace of God.
  220. 13:04They take a kernel of truth
  221. 13:06and they twist it into something entirely foreign
  222. 13:11to what Jesus actually said,
  223. 13:14to what Jesus actually requires,
  224. 13:17of what Jesus actually articulated,
  225. 13:20to what Jesus actually expects.
  226. 13:22And much of the twisting occurs
  227. 13:24because they presume ignorance,
  228. 13:27biblical ignorance on the part of the ones to whom they're speaking.
  229. 13:32So they're twisted. I would argue demonic presentation almost goes unrecognized because
  230. 13:40that sounds plausible. Remember Charles Spurgeon's description of discernment.
  231. 13:45Charles Spurgeon described discernment as not merely distinguishing right from wrong but distinguishing
  232. 13:51right from almost right. The need to distinguish right from almost right goes all the way back
  233. 13:58back to Genesis 3? Did God surely say? Don't eat from it or don't even touch it?
  234. 14:05Unless you die? You won't die, die? The ability, the necessity, the discernment,
  235. 14:12to distinguish right from almost right is a duty for the believer. But the chubby
  236. 14:18check of theologians simply put the liars who seek infiltration, they pervert God's
  237. 14:24grace and twisted into something that rivals God, twisted into
  238. 14:30lasciviousness, sensuality, use it as an excuse and justification
  239. 14:36for all manner of sinfulness. So the end result is that we are not
  240. 14:43servants of God. Well, you know what? God exists to serve us. I'm
  241. 14:47going to give you an example, a real time example of some of
  242. 14:50this chubby cheque theologizing going on right here in our
  243. 14:53culture. A discipleship minute with Joseph Parker. Psalm 118 verse 105 tells us your word is a
  244. 15:05lamp to my feet and a light to my path. You know all of life one of the single most fruitful
  245. 15:11habits is that of reading God's word every single day. And I like to encourage believers to set
  246. 15:16a goal of reading at least three chapters in your Bible every day. It might be three different
  247. 15:21chapters it might be the same chapter three times over but spending time in God's word will bless
  248. 15:26your life in ways you don't fully comprehend. God's word of
  249. 15:30ministers to your mind, body and spirit in a way that no one
  250. 15:33else or nothing else can. And remember, the Word of God is
  251. 15:36pregnant with the ability to bless you. It's full of life,
  252. 15:39full of grace, full of peace, power and joy. I would challenge
  253. 15:43and encourage you to start the habit of reading three chapters a
  254. 15:46day today. And also parents, I would encourage you to start the
  255. 15:50habit of having your children, each of them to read three
  256. 15:52chapters in their Bible every day as well. It's a habit that'll
  257. 15:56Bless your whole family.
  258. 16:04Shining light into the darkness.
  259. 16:06This is the Hamilton Corner, an American family radio.
  260. 16:10Welcome back to the Hamilton Corner, Abraham Hamilton,
  261. 16:12the third here man that a lot of things are happening.
  262. 16:14You know, I share Barack Obama's spokesperson
  263. 16:20responded to the initial revelations from Tulsi Gabbard,
  264. 16:26the director of national intelligence.
  265. 16:29To which Tulsi Gabbard responded and said,
  266. 16:31Oh, here's more documents.
  267. 16:33But you know, I'm not gonna go through
  268. 16:34all of those documents today.
  269. 16:36We probably will at a later date,
  270. 16:38but I'm just telling you,
  271. 16:38I'll tell you plainly the reason why.
  272. 16:43Guys, if nobody goes to jail,
  273. 16:45if the ultimate utilization of this
  274. 16:47is just for political talking points,
  275. 16:49and you know, look what happened.
  276. 16:51This was a cool effort,
  277. 16:51and everybody knows it was a cool effort,
  278. 16:53but nobody goes to jail.
  279. 16:54Can I just tell you something plainly?
  280. 16:55Plainly, the cool would have worked.
  281. 16:59It worked, it worked.
  282. 17:04Look at all the things that happened in 2024.
  283. 17:06And I'll give you a perfect example.
  284. 17:08And nobody wants to talk about this,
  285. 17:10but here's a perfect example, Obamacare, right?
  286. 17:13Remember Obamacare, do you remember what the debates were
  287. 17:16before Obamacare?
  288. 17:17Oh, this United States of America
  289. 17:19will never have a single-payer health system.
  290. 17:22Remember that?
  291. 17:25And Obamacare, which the Obama administration literally
  292. 17:30had the Supreme Court argue there wasn't a tax, why?
  293. 17:32Because tax policy has to originate
  294. 17:33in the House of Representatives.
  295. 17:35the Obamacare legislation that became the Affordable Care Act, it started in the Senate
  296. 17:40because it couldn't get it passed initially in the House, which is one of the reasons
  297. 17:44why the Obama administration argued at the court that it wasn't a tax.
  298. 17:46And then, oh, here comes John Roberts, it's a tax.
  299. 17:49How?
  300. 17:50If you're saying it's a tax, Constitution, then it would have had to started in the House.
  301. 17:54That's immediately unconstitutional.
  302. 17:58And then once they get it passed, it's hard to undo, you know, take back is always hard.
  303. 18:06So guess what, the Affordable Care Act is still on America's constitution, I'm sorry, a congressional
  304. 18:11books right now.
  305. 18:12The only thing that has happened is that President Trump's administration has zeroed out the
  306. 18:15tax penalty for it.
  307. 18:19You have any doubt if we have another Democrat president, they'll try to raise the tax penalty
  308. 18:24under Obamacare.
  309. 18:26All I'm saying, if nobody goes to jail, it would have worked.
  310. 18:32That's what I'm saying.
  311. 18:34So somebody called me, page me, text me, carry a pigeon me when the handcuffs come out.
  312. 18:41That's what I'm looking for.
  313. 18:43That's what I'm looking for.
  314. 18:45All right, to this, and a similar thing, and don't think that for I, for example, among
  315. 18:50many others, I have forgotten what's going on with Epstein, because I really, I really,
  316. 18:55and we're going to do a deeper dive in this, but I'll just say this now.
  317. 18:59When Alex Acosta offered his justification for Epstein's minimal plea in the slap on the
  318. 19:05wrist when he was literally charged with prostitution with minors in Florida, and he says Epstein
  319. 19:11is of intelligence. I really believe that meant something. And I think the issue is not limited
  320. 19:17to as horrendous and egregious as Petarass, the impetifill you are. I don't really think
  321. 19:25that's the, I believe that's the tip of the iceberg, if you will.
  322. 19:30Deeper down, I think there's things that are far that are so ugly that there are multiple
  323. 19:35nations that have a vested interest in trying to make sure none of the stuff sees a light
  324. 19:39update. And now, Gellame Maxwell is talking to the Department of Justice. Somebody want
  325. 19:46to tell me why this is just happening. And what are we in July 2025? How long is Gellame
  326. 19:50Maxwell been in prison? If we really wanted to get to the bottom of the Epstein affair,
  327. 19:55how come nobody tried to talk to her before now? You, you ain't heard this from me, but
  328. 20:03Gellame Maxwell didn't kill herself. All right, to what I really want to get to today. And
  329. 20:11The main reason I want to get to this is because this, gentlemen,
  330. 20:1728, 2022, that's what she went to prison.
  331. 20:22Yeah, that's what Galais Maxwell was convicted for the exact same charges.
  332. 20:25Jeffrey Epstein was in prison for, by the way, sorry, in jail and for,
  333. 20:30because he hadn't been adjudicated yet.
  334. 20:33She got convicted in 2022, got a 20 year sentence.
  335. 20:38Nobody tried to talk to her before now if they really want to get to the bottom of it.
  336. 20:41I wonder why that's convenient, don't you think?
  337. 20:45Anyway, I want to have this conversation because Joe Rogan has probably the most popular platform in the world and
  338. 20:57he recently had on a state legislator from the Austin, Texas area who
  339. 21:06also
  340. 21:07proclaims himself to be a
  341. 21:09pastor did a little digging and
  342. 21:13unsurprisingly that
  343. 21:15This state legislator James Tallarico is associated with the St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Austin, Texas. All right
  344. 21:24St. Andrews Presbyterian is a member of the PC USA denomination
  345. 21:29PC USA denomination is a I'll just say it this way the nomination that doesn't hold to
  346. 21:37Biblical historical biblical orthodoxy they have
  347. 21:40Abandoned what I would argue is the biblical position on human sexuality and identity
  348. 21:44They seem to be supporters of abortion and you'll see why I'm saying this and
  349. 21:50It is not synonymous with the PCA
  350. 21:54denomination which is the Presbyterian Church in America
  351. 21:57Which split off from the PC USA in 1973?
  352. 22:01So the same thing that happened most most recently to the United Methodist nomination that has led to
  353. 22:08the global Methodists in association with the those who are Methodists in in the
  354. 22:13African continent and other nations around the world,
  355. 22:16they wanted to get away from the American United Methodists
  356. 22:20who were ordaining homosexual clergy.
  357. 22:25Forget about what the Bible says,
  358. 22:26we will do whatever we wanna do.
  359. 22:29So that same thing happened in the Presbyterian denomination,
  360. 22:31the same year Roe versus Wade was decided in 1973.
  361. 22:36That same division along similar lines
  362. 22:38has occurred in pretty much almost every major
  363. 22:41mainline denomination, except to date the Southern Baptist
  364. 22:47denomination, if I recall that properly.
  365. 22:51So James Tallarico was on Joe Rogan, and he offered arguments,
  366. 22:56folks that are not new, unfortunately.
  367. 22:58They're not new.
  368. 22:59There was not one argument that he raised
  369. 23:01that I hadn't heard before, but I want to address them
  370. 23:04because if you have not, you will hear some of these same
  371. 23:07arguments in your own neighborhoods and communities
  372. 23:10and in conversations, and I want to make sure that people
  373. 23:12who tuned into this program are able to address these issues.
  374. 23:15So here we go.
  375. 23:18James Tallarico on Joe Rogan's show attempted to make the case,
  376. 23:22he caught himself making the progressive case
  377. 23:25for affirmation of homosexuality and the progressive case
  378. 23:29to support abortion.
  379. 23:31In his words, according to the scriptures,
  380. 23:33I'll just tell you plainly,
  381. 23:35he did not make his case according to the scriptures.
  382. 23:37He did exactly what you'd warned us about.
  383. 23:39He twisted the scripture.
  384. 23:42And I'll give you an example what I'm talking about.
  385. 23:44So first, we'll go to Joe Tallarico.
  386. 23:49I'm sorry, James Tallarico is the name.
  387. 23:51I said, Joe, James Tallarico.
  388. 23:53Go to James Tallarico as he attempts to assert,
  389. 23:56well, Jesus never really condemned homosexuality.
  390. 24:01It's clip number two, clip two.
  391. 24:03And so I think you've seen that from the beginning
  392. 24:06of the Christian tradition.
  393. 24:07You've seen it across traditions of those in power,
  394. 24:10whether it's people with political power,
  395. 24:12social power in terms of homosexuality or economic power using that faith to hurt and
  396. 24:20control of the people.
  397. 24:21You know, let's take the issue of homosexuality in particular.
  398. 24:28One is something Jesus never talks about, even though gay people existed in the ancient
  399. 24:33world.
  400. 24:34Have you all heard that one before?
  401. 24:39Jesus never talks about homosexuality?
  402. 24:42Have you heard that before?
  403. 24:45And then in that conversation, Roga says, yeah, it's based on Old Testament, isn't it?
  404. 24:48And Tala Riko goes, yeah, it's an Old Testament thing.
  405. 24:53It's an Old Testament thing.
  406. 24:55Yeah, I was just going to read laughing, you already know what I'm about to say, don't
  407. 24:59you?
  408. 25:01And I'm not going to try to refute him with my opinion.
  409. 25:03Let's go to the Word of God.
  410. 25:05All right.
  411. 25:07Because if you notice, the Twisters of God's Word always tend to try to make a severance
  412. 25:12between the 39 books of the Hebrew Scriptures and the 27 books of the New Testament and to
  413. 25:19try to pit one against the other.
  414. 25:23The first thing I want you to notice is notice how he immediately posits his reply within the
  415. 25:31context of, well, you know, people have always tried to use religion to control.
  416. 25:37Did you guess that?
  417. 25:39Yeah, always try to control people, whether it's, you know, political power or economic power.
  418. 25:47Let's go to John chapter one.
  419. 25:49All right, John chapter one, verse one.
  420. 25:55In the beginning was the word.
  421. 26:00In the beginning was the word.
  422. 26:03And the word was with God.
  423. 26:06And the word was God.
  424. 26:08He was in the beginning.
  425. 26:10All things were made through him and without him was not anything made that was made.
  426. 26:19Point number one to Mr. Tallarico, who I do not think is unaware of this.
  427. 26:23I simply think he rejects it and is very, uh, Luciferian like attempting an infiltration
  428. 26:32that the Lord warned us about through Jude, false brethren crept in unawares, twisting,
  429. 26:37verding, twisting.
  430. 26:41The scriptures articulate,
  431. 26:45including the ones I just read to you,
  432. 26:48that God the Son, Yeshua Hamashiach, Jesus the Christ,
  433. 26:54is eternally God the Son, okay?
  434. 27:00He didn't just arrive in the quote-unquote New Testament.
  435. 27:04He's eternally God the Son, all right?
  436. 27:09The scripture goes on to explain that I just read,
  437. 27:11One of them I just read that in the beginning,
  438. 27:14the word was God, the logos of God.
  439. 27:18He was there at the beginning.
  440. 27:20Before that was the beginning, God the sun was there.
  441. 27:27And to let you know, Rogan does not challenge Talarico.
  442. 27:30In fact, Rogan goes on to say,
  443. 27:31you should run for president.
  444. 27:33We need people like you.
  445. 27:35You're clearly a good guy.
  446. 27:37No, Rogan doesn't challenge him at all.
  447. 27:39Rogan seemed to be fascinated by his.
  448. 27:42Huh, that is interesting, huh?
  449. 27:45No, no, the scripture bears that God the son is eternally God the son in the beginning
  450. 27:52Was the word and the word was God?
  451. 27:56The scripture goes on to say picking up verse four
  452. 28:01I'll read it all together again in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God
  453. 28:05He was in the beginning all things were made through him and without him was not anything made that was made in
  454. 28:10Him notice the transition from describing the word being God now John says it is him in
  455. 28:16In him was Zoe was life and the life was a light of men and the light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it.
  456. 28:27John explains very plainly that the logos of God who is there at the beginning is in fact Jesus the Christ.
  457. 28:38The bulk of John's gospel is describing and demonstrating the divinity of God the Son.
  458. 28:46So when the scripture says here in the New Testament
  459. 28:53that the logos of God is there at the beginning,
  460. 28:55guess who is there when he says,
  461. 28:57let there be light in there was?
  462. 28:58God the son.
  463. 28:59You see, the entire scripture from Genesis to Revelation
  464. 29:02is the word of Jesus.
  465. 29:04That's first, Mr. Telerico.
  466. 29:06So for you to attempt to say that the Hebrew scripture
  467. 29:10has no bearing on what Jesus says, that's simply a lie.
  468. 29:14And it's a lie that I am not aware,
  469. 29:17and I don't know this man personally,
  470. 29:21But it is a lie to attempt to sever Jesus from the Hebrew text.
  471. 29:27That's first. Next. I got a few minutes to do this.
  472. 29:33This is probably going to carry over to the next, next second.
  473. 29:38Jesus never talked about it. Really? Another lie. Matthew chapter 19.
  474. 29:43We've talked about this on the show many times.
  475. 29:46Jesus is being questioned specifically about marriage, specifically about marriage.
  476. 29:50But look at how he responds.
  477. 29:52Matthew 19 verse 4, and have you not read that he who created them from the beginning,
  478. 29:59notice, refers seamlessly, accords seamlessly with what John said because he's
  479. 30:09in beginning and everything that was made was created through him. Matthew picks it up,
  480. 30:14he who made them from the beginning, and this is Jesus speaking, the incarnate Messiah,
  481. 30:19Jesus speaking, he who made them, who he created them from the beginning, made them
  482. 30:26both male and female and said, therefore, man shall leave his father and mother and hold
  483. 30:32fast to his wife and the two shall become one flesh.
  484. 30:36So they are no longer two, but one flesh.
  485. 30:39Therefore, God has joined together, let not man separate.
  486. 30:43Now I want you to notice when Jesus is asked about marriage, he doesn't go right to marriage.
  487. 30:48He begins his response by affirming the humanity binary that God creates, in affirming what
  488. 30:58he said in Genesis 1 that he makes them both male and female.
  489. 31:03He affirms the humanity binary as the foundation for what he begins to describe later on as
  490. 31:12the one flesh union.
  491. 31:14Okay, this affirmation of this sexuality binary is an affirmation.
  492. 31:21And Jesus specifically quotes in answering this question.
  493. 31:24He specifically quotes from the Hebrew text.
  494. 31:29So Jesus is literally saying, have you not read what I already told you?
  495. 31:33And I told you this in the beginning, but I'll say it again to you now in
  496. 31:36Carnot that there are only two sexes male and female.
  497. 31:44Then he goes on to explain, and for this cause shall a man and a ring and a ring be joined
  498. 31:53to his wife, Gune, and notice he adds in.
  499. 31:58And the two shall be joined together in one flesh.
  500. 32:00He's referring to the physical conjugal union between that can only transpire with the complimentary
  501. 32:08distinctiveness of men, of a man and a woman, a man and his wife.
  502. 32:13And Jesus affirms this reality to the exclusion of all derivations from it.
  503. 32:21So when you say Jesus has not addressed this, that's a flat lie.
  504. 32:25Jesus affirmed what is authentic to the exclusion of all counterfeits.
  505. 32:34Very similar to saying, hey, I have this $100 bill in my wallet.
  506. 32:37This is what a $100 bill looks like.
  507. 32:39Anything that comes to you,
  508. 32:40purporting to be a $100 bill,
  509. 32:42but it doesn't look like this,
  510. 32:44is counterfeit currency.
  511. 32:45Jesus affirmed the binary humanity,
  512. 32:49and the only candidates for physical
  513. 32:51cultural union is a man and his wife.
  514. 32:54If we lose this cultural war,
  515. 33:02we're going to have a hedonistic, humanistic society.

  520. 33:16The movement Don started paved the way for Christians

  525. 33:29Let's think about what God has done.
  526. 33:32I would wager that His top news story is still
  527. 33:34that the free salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ
  528. 33:37is available to all.
  529. 33:39I wager that would be the top news story
  530. 33:41until that salvation is no longer available.
  531. 33:43You will have made your decision for attorney.
  532. 33:46He doesn't ask us to do anything he wants.
  533. 33:48And then he dies above what we can possibly do.
  534. 33:52Here Todd Herman on a Disciples View, weekdays 12 PM
  535. 33:56Central on AFR.
  536. 34:03The Hamilton Quarter podcast and one-minute commentaries
  537. 34:06are available at afr.net.
  538. 34:09Back to the Hamilton Quarter on American Family Radio.
  539. 34:13Welcome back to the Hamilton Corner, Abraham Hamilton,
  540. 34:17third here. That's just a small portion of that. In addition to what I've already said,
  541. 34:24that the entire word of God is simply that the word of God.
  542. 34:31Tallerico and Rogan talked about, yeah, the Old Testament condemns this. It's not only in the
  543. 34:36Old Testament man. And he even said, yeah, I mean, in Old Testament really, we're just condemning
  544. 34:42you know, male homosexuality, you didn't say anything about lesbianism. I was like,
  545. 34:48you are lying. And the reason why I'm doing this, guys, is because these kinds of lies have eternal
  546. 34:54consequences. You see, with the prevalence of our sinful culture, especially sexually sinful culture,
  547. 35:09this type of scripture twisting is employed to try to blunt the conviction of the Lord,
  548. 35:14to cause people to be comfortable in their sin.
  549. 35:18But that's just a flat lie if you say this was just in the Old Testament.
  550. 35:26Romans 1, specifically, specifically condemns male homosexuality and it condemns female.
  551. 35:34The same context.
  552. 35:40Women abandoning the natural use, burning and passion for one another.
  553. 35:48First Corinthians 6, we talk about this at length.
  554. 35:50And I know that's Paul. That's not Jesus
  555. 35:55What would it would it possibly follow me as I follow who Leroy?
  556. 36:00Follow me as I follow Bubba. That's what that's what Paul said
  557. 36:04Man these people are liars man
  558. 36:07Demonically inspired liars the spirit of antichrist
  559. 36:12People who listen to them imperil their eternal souls, which is why it's so necessary
  560. 36:18First Corinthians 6 which we've talked about at length
  561. 36:20Verse 9, or do you not know literally this or do you not know that the unrighteous
  562. 36:27will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, notice
  563. 36:34this guys, fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor
  564. 36:44homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor the drunkards, nor the
  565. 36:50revilers nor the swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
  566. 36:55Do you see that?
  567. 36:57God places the homosexual unrepentant sinner in the same context as the heterosexual unrepentant
  568. 37:04sinner whether that heterosexual unrepentant sinner is an adulterer or a fornicator.
  569. 37:11The adulterer heterosexual the fornicator heterosexual the homosexual or will not inherit
  570. 37:19the kingdom of God.
  571. 37:20Neither the thieves or the covetous.
  572. 37:25This is a Tallerico, this is in a New Testament.
  573. 37:29So for you to sit there on Joe Rogan,
  574. 37:31the largest platform in the country,
  575. 37:33and to say, oh, hm, condemnation is almost actuality,
  576. 37:37or only in the Old Testament, that's a flat lie.
  577. 37:41That's a flat lie with eternal consequences.
  578. 37:50When the Apostle Paul is writing to Timothy
  579. 37:54about all scripture being God breathed
  580. 37:57in 2 Timothy chapter three, verse 16,
  581. 37:59guess what he's referring to?
  582. 38:01The Old Testament.
  583. 38:04Do we need to go through, Mr. Tallarico?
  584. 38:06How they're such a consistent feature
  585. 38:10of the New Testament quoting directly from the Old Testament?
  586. 38:20The Apostle James talks about the royal law,
  587. 38:22loving your neighbor as yourself.
  588. 38:24That is based in Leviticus.
  589. 38:25You wanna get rid of that one too?
  590. 38:28Man, these people are liars, man.
  591. 38:30And I want you to be equipped to address it.
  592. 38:33Then he goes on to try to say,
  593. 38:35oh yeah, I mean, you need to make space
  594. 38:37for he calls it progressive, y'all know,
  595. 38:38I call him regressives.
  596. 38:40the progressive position on abortion.
  597. 38:42You know, we affirm a woman's right to body the autonomy
  598. 38:45in anyone who would say the scripture condemns that.
  599. 38:47Well, you, you, you, how, hear your perspective,
  600. 38:49but will you hear mine?
  601. 38:51And when you hear that, you should just snake, snake.
  602. 38:56Let me tell you show what I'm talking about.
  603. 38:57Listen to, I mean, I'm sorry that I'm inviting you to listen
  604. 39:02to this, but listen to and watch clip number three,
  605. 39:07Tala Rico talking to Rogan, clip three, go.
  606. 39:09All I'm asking is that for Christians who are pro-choice
  607. 39:13and who respect the bodily autonomy of women,
  608. 39:16that we be given the space to make our theological argument.
  609. 39:19Cause I think there is a lot of biblical evidence
  610. 39:22to support that opinion.
  611. 39:24What do you think is the biblical evidence
  612. 39:25to support the opinion of being pro-abortion?
  613. 39:28So one, in Genesis,
  614. 39:31God creates life by breathing life into the first human being,
  615. 39:37which we later call Adam,
  616. 39:39that life starts when you take your first breath.
  617. 39:41And that is actually the main line position in Judaism
  618. 39:48is that that's when life starts.
  619. 39:53Oh boy, I've heard this before, this is not new.
  620. 39:59They got another, let me just play the other clip now
  621. 40:00because I'm ready to go in.
  622. 40:02But he goes on further even saying,
  623. 40:04look at Mary, you see,
  624. 40:08let me just let you hear it.
  625. 40:09Clip number four, clip four, go.
  626. 40:11But I say all this in terms of in context of abortion
  627. 40:13because before God comes over Mary
  628. 40:19and we have the incarnation,
  629. 40:21God asks for Mary's consent, which is remarkable.
  630. 40:26I mean, go back and read this in Luke.
  631. 40:30I mean, the angel comes down and asks Mary
  632. 40:34if this is something she wants to do.
  633. 40:36And she says, if it is God's will, let it be done.
  634. 40:39Let it be, let it happen.
  635. 40:41So to me that is an affirmation
  636. 40:43in one of our most central stories
  637. 40:45that creation has to be done with consent.
  638. 40:48You cannot force someone to create.
  639. 40:50Creation is one of the most sacred acts
  640. 40:52that we engage in as human beings,
  641. 40:56but that has to be done with consent,
  642. 40:57it has to be done with freedom.
  643. 40:59And to me, that is absolutely consistent
  644. 41:02with the ministry and life and death of Jesus.
  645. 41:06All right, I mean, I can't stand this one.
  646. 41:09So I gotta go with the first one first.
  647. 41:10So you notice, he says,
  648. 41:12Well, and just so you be clear in case anybody's wondering,
  649. 41:14there's no more biblical argumentation made for this.
  650. 41:16This is it.
  651. 41:17Those there is biblical,
  652. 41:19that's his biblical argument to support abortion.
  653. 41:23Remember what you said, perverting the grace, twisting,
  654. 41:27the grace of God, twisting the grace of God.
  655. 41:34It's amazing to me that you use Adam
  656. 41:42and say the first breath.
  657. 41:45So you're gonna just speed right past the fact
  658. 41:47that God created Adam as a full grown man
  659. 41:48from the very beginning of your speed past that.
  660. 41:50You're gonna speed right past that.
  661. 41:52Mr. Taroico, how many other people have been created
  662. 41:54in the history of the world
  663. 41:56and upon their first breath, they were full grown?
  664. 42:00Clearly, Mr. Taroico, something was different
  665. 42:02about Adam than the entire rest of creation.
  666. 42:06Oh, and by the way, what was the first command
  667. 42:08that God gave to Adam?
  668. 42:09Mr. Taroico, I wanna ask you what was it?
  669. 42:11Oh, that's right, I'll tell you,
  670. 42:12be fruitful and multiply, Mr. Taroico.
  671. 42:17Was Adam multiplied, Mr. Taroico?
  672. 42:23So that's your biblical support?
  673. 42:26Man, go sit down somewhere with this ridiculousness.
  674. 42:31Here's guys, whenever you are articulating a point
  675. 42:34from scripture, it is vitally important
  676. 42:37that you use the Word of God
  677. 42:38and the entire council of the Word of God,
  678. 42:41consistent throughout scripture from the Hebrew Bible
  679. 42:44and the Old Testament all the way through
  680. 42:45to the New Testament.
  681. 42:47The failure to do so is what's called proof texting.
  682. 42:51And notice he didn't give chapter in verse.
  683. 42:53He just gives like this archetype.
  684. 42:56Oh, this is just a liar.
  685. 43:00So let's just go.
  686. 43:01Psalm 139, Psalm 139.
  687. 43:06Let's go to the scripture.
  688. 43:07Boy, boy, boy, these people are liars, man.
  689. 43:11And yes, I am calling Joe Tallarico a liar.
  690. 43:15Yes, I am.
  691. 43:17Psalm 139, look at verse 14, Mr. Tallarico.
  692. 43:22This is a psalm of David inspired by the Lord himself.
  693. 43:25Psalm 139, looking what the scripture says,
  694. 43:27I praise you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
  695. 43:32Wonderful, all your works.
  696. 43:33My soul knows it very well.
  697. 43:36Look at verse 15, my frame was not hidden from you
  698. 43:40when I was made in secret,
  699. 43:45intricately woven in the depths of the earth.
  700. 43:48Your eyes, the total of God's eyes,
  701. 43:51saw my unformed substance.
  702. 43:55In your book, we're written every one of them,
  703. 43:58the days that were formed for me.
  704. 44:01When as yet none of them were,
  705. 44:05how precious to me are your thoughts, O God,
  706. 44:07how vast is the sum of them?
  707. 44:09If I could count them, they are more than the sand.
  708. 44:13I awake and I am still with you.
  709. 44:15This psalm David is describing God knowing him
  710. 44:19before he's ever even born.
  711. 44:22I want you to notice something from scripture.
  712. 44:24I want you to pair this with Genesis chapter one,
  713. 44:27specifically look at verse 16,
  714. 44:31When David says, your eyes saw my unformed substance.
  715. 44:37Notice David is saying, your eyes saw my substance.
  716. 44:40I am substantively existing.
  717. 44:43I am present, though I am unformed.
  718. 44:47If you look at Genesis one,
  719. 44:48what does God say about the very earth he creates?
  720. 44:50Oh, I just happen to have that in front of me.
  721. 44:53Genesis one, verses one and two.
  722. 44:55In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
  723. 44:58The earth was without form and void.
  724. 45:03And darkness was over the face of the deep, huh?
  725. 45:07Isn't it interesting that when God creates the earth,
  726. 45:10He creates it initially,
  727. 45:12Unformed and unfilled.
  728. 45:14Now, does the fact that the earth was unformed negate
  729. 45:17the fact that the earth was there?
  730. 45:20No, the earth was there.
  731. 45:21God intentionally created initially,
  732. 45:24Unformed and unfilled.
  733. 45:26No different than when David says,
  734. 45:28your eyes saw my unformed substance.
  735. 45:32Though I'm unformed, I'm still substance.
  736. 45:36The scripture consistently affirms that life is present
  737. 45:40before delivery.
  738. 45:43I'll go to another one, a very familiar passage
  739. 45:45of scripture, Jeremiah chapter one, verses four and five.
  740. 45:48Now the word of the Lord came to me saying,
  741. 45:50"'Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you."
  742. 45:55Not only that, and before you were born, I consecrated you.
  743. 46:01I appointed you a prophet to the nations.
  744. 46:03God is affirming that he knew Jeremiah before he was ever born.
  745. 46:07God of ordained a course of life for Jeremiah
  746. 46:09before he was ever born.
  747. 46:11I'll give you another one.
  748. 46:11Let's go to Luke chapter one.
  749. 46:14You wanna talk about Mary?
  750. 46:15Let's talk about it.
  751. 46:18Let's talk about it.
  752. 46:19Huh?
  753. 46:20Oh, wait, wait.
  754. 46:21Oh, I got out of the Old Testament.
  755. 46:23Yeah, let's go to New Testament two.
  756. 46:24Let's go to New Testament two.
  757. 46:26Oh man, I got like four minutes.
  758. 46:28Got a hustle.
  759. 46:29Luke chapter one.
  760. 46:29You wanna talk about Mary?
  761. 46:30Let's talk about it.
  762. 46:31Luke chapter one verse 39.
  763. 46:35What is the scripture saying?
  764. 46:35Those days, Mary arose and went with haste
  765. 46:38into the hill country to a town in Judah.
  766. 46:39And she entered the house of Zachariah
  767. 46:41and greeted Elizabeth.
  768. 46:42And when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary,
  769. 46:46look at the text, the baby leaped in her womb.
  770. 46:50And Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.
  771. 46:53And she exclaimed with the loud cry,
  772. 46:55blessed are you among women
  773. 46:57and blessed is the fruit of your womb.
  774. 46:58And why is this granted to me
  775. 47:00that the mother of my Lord should come to me
  776. 47:02for behold, when the sound of your greeting
  777. 47:05came to my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy.
  778. 47:10Baby is employed both in verses 41 and in verses 44.
  779. 47:15Now let's go a little further to Luke chapter 18
  780. 47:17verses 15 through 16.
  781. 47:19Another familiar passage of scripture.
  782. 47:21But notice what the text says.
  783. 47:25This is Jesus being quoted in Luke.
  784. 47:27Now when they were being talked about in Luke,
  785. 47:29now when they were bringing even infants,
  786. 47:32or some translations say children,
  787. 47:33or some say babies to him, to Jesus,
  788. 47:36that he might touch them and when the disciples saw it,
  789. 47:39they rebuked them.
  790. 47:40But Jesus called them to him saying,
  791. 47:42let the children come to me and do not hinder them
  792. 47:44for such belongs the kingdom of God.
  793. 47:46Now I want you to notice something.
  794. 47:48When you look in the text and you see,
  795. 47:49and they were bringing babies to him,
  796. 47:51or they were bringing infants to him,
  797. 47:52the scripture is clearly talking about children
  798. 47:55who had already been born, who were outside of the womb.
  799. 47:58What you wanna know are not so secret secret,
  800. 48:00that's in the text.
  801. 48:01If you look in the Greek manuscripts,
  802. 48:03guess what the word is?
  803. 48:06for the word children or infants being brought to him
  804. 48:08in Luke chapter 18 verse 15.
  805. 48:11It's the Greek word, brephos.
  806. 48:13You wanna know what brephos is and how it's used?
  807. 48:15Oh, I'll tell you.
  808. 48:16Back in Luke chapter one verses 39 and 44,
  809. 48:20when the scripture says the baby leaped in Elizabeth's womb,
  810. 48:23guess what the word is there in Greek, brephos.
  811. 48:27The Bible is saying that a child is a child
  812. 48:29regardless of his location to the delivery canal.
  813. 48:33That a child is a child when it's in the womb
  814. 48:35and the child is a child outside of the womb.
  815. 48:37The scripture intentionally uses the same Greek word
  816. 48:40to describe the baby inside of Elizabeth
  817. 48:44and the baby inside of Mary,
  818. 48:47as is used to describe the children
  819. 48:48who are being brought to Jesus and look at 18.
  820. 48:51The same word is Braefos.
  821. 48:53So Joseph, I'm sorry, James Tallarico,
  822. 48:55ghosts it out somewhere, repent for lying.
  823. 48:59In using your description as a pastor
  824. 49:01to imperil people's eternal souls.
  825. 49:04because the scripture is consistent
  826. 49:06from Genesis to Revelation that God,
  827. 49:08I don't care what you or anybody else says,
  828. 49:11God recognizes personhood and the amigo day
  829. 49:14in an image bearer of God inside of the womb.
  830. 49:19The baby don't have to be born to be an image bearer of God
  831. 49:22and not you, not any legislator, not a Supreme Court,
  832. 49:25has the authority to tell anybody
  833. 49:27that they can kill what God creates.
  834. 49:30Because he is the one that says,
  835. 49:31you shall not murder, you shall not take innocent human life.
