From courtroom to microphone
Abe spent the early years of his career as a criminal prosecutor, where he learned to read the law the way a working attorney has to read it: line by line, fact by fact, with someone is liberty on the line. Scripture was already shaping him long before that, going back to childhood and reinforced through his time at Oral Roberts University. The two formations, Bible and bar, do not compete in his thinking. They reinforce each other.
When American Family Association brought him on as General Counsel, the show grew out of that role naturally. Christians wanted plain answers about what the Constitution actually says, what a court ruling actually does, and what Scripture actually requires. The Hamilton Corner is where Abe answers those questions on the air, weeknights at 5 PM Central, with the same care he would bring to a brief.
He still teaches Bible weekly, still parents his six children at home, and still considers pastoral conviction the point of every show. Legal precision is the means, not the message.
