  23. 1:40or if you're heading over to the Darbonne Church of Christ, I want to encourage you to do so
  24. 1:45with intentionality, understanding the primacy that God places on family and welcoming His
  25. 1:53view to govern, garden, to guide your view.
  26. 1:56And when you peel the onion, so to speak, you get down to brass taxes, where the rubber
  27. 2:01meets the row, whatever other cliches and metaphors you want to employ, when you get right down
  28. 2:06to it, the issue of our day is disciple making.
  29. 2:10That is the issue.
  30. 2:12The issue is disciple making.
  31. 2:13Who is going to do it?
  32. 2:15And in which direction or in which manner will the disciple making occur?
  33. 2:20Because the way that God has created us, discipleship is a constant.
  34. 2:24is not a question of if it's a question of who and how.
  35. 2:29Much of what is befall in our society frankly
  36. 2:31is the product of discipleship.
  37. 2:35Through a combination of affirmative indoctrination,
  38. 2:39as well as negligence, meaning a failure
  39. 2:43to provide truth generationally, generationally.
  40. 2:48There is such a consistent phenomenon
  41. 2:51and you guys have experienced it.
  42. 2:53many of you have experienced it to where you have people even, they'll say, well, you know,
  43. 2:58we raise our children in the church and only to learn.
  44. 3:02Yeah, they turned away and I can't tell you how heartbroken I have been in studying and learning
  45. 3:11and even hearing your stories of how voluntary familial estrangement has just reeked, has wrought
  46. 3:22havoc in the lives of people all across this country.
  47. 3:26And by and large, there has been an anti-Christ indoctrination and discipleship that's been
  48. 3:33happening in our country.
  49. 3:35And I know it's easy to use the word anti-Christ in a broad sense, but I don't mean it just
  50. 3:41as a general catch-all excuse.
  51. 3:43I really mean it with intended purpose because there has been a concerted effort, advanced,
  52. 3:54Little by little step by step over time and we didn't just go to sleep and wake up one morning and then bam
  53. 4:01Transgendarism that didn't happen. It's been little by little step by step
  54. 4:08first, let's let's make it to be
  55. 4:12socially unacceptable and to be
  56. 4:15indicative of a lack of intellectual acuity for people to believe that God could create the entire
  57. 4:24creation in
  58. 4:25in six 24 hour days and rest on a seven day.
  59. 4:27Let's make that, ah, I just know what you can believe that,
  60. 4:31because the first attack going all the way back
  61. 4:36to Genesis three was attack on what?
  62. 4:38The authority and applicability of God's word.
  63. 4:42Did God surely say, you sure that's what God said?
  64. 4:47Does that really make sense to you?
  65. 4:50Not recognizing a we, asserting or dare I say,
  66. 4:54exalting ourselves against the truth of God's Word.
  67. 4:58And then when the authority and the applicability
  68. 5:01of God's Word is in question, then that calls doubt
  69. 5:08across the board, not realizing that if you can challenge,
  70. 5:13effectively challenge the authority
  71. 5:14and applicability of God's Word,
  72. 5:16you can get people to reject their desperate need
  73. 5:18for a savior.
  74. 5:20And that's what we're dealing with.
  75. 5:23But if we, the people of God will understand
  76. 5:29that Jesus knew full well, our Lord knew full well,
  77. 5:31what was coming, which is why he gave us a commission,
  78. 5:33to go there for and make discipline learners,
  79. 5:37make disciples of the way of Messiah,
  80. 5:39teaching the disciples to obey everything
  81. 5:43that Christ has commanded us.
  82. 5:44And that being a matter of first priority.
  83. 5:50And we start that in our homes,
  84. 5:52and we work outwardly from there.
  85. 5:55So as you're making your transition,
  86. 5:56let's do so with that being,
  87. 5:58our foremost investment, a life investment with the time
  88. 6:01that God has afforded us in his world.
  89. 6:03To the word of God, we go.
  90. 6:05This is gonna follow, or should I say,
  91. 6:07go alongside with what we've just been discussing.
  92. 6:10John chapter 12 verses 9-3-11 is where I wanna go.
  93. 6:13John chapter 12 verses 9-3-11.
  94. 6:17Earlier this week, we were talking about
  95. 6:19the accountants scripture where Lazarus,
  96. 6:21Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead.
  97. 6:24And there was an immediate plot thereafter
  98. 6:27by the Pharisees to kill Jesus.
  99. 6:30Well, what you're gonna see, the scriptures show
  100. 6:32what and only Jesus they were trying to kill.
  101. 6:35So on the verses that proceed, verse nine,
  102. 6:37in John chapter 12, the resurrected Lazarus
  103. 6:41was kicking in Bethany, verses one through eight.
  104. 6:45He's there, Mary's there, Jesus is there.
  105. 6:49They're having dinner parties, if you will.
  106. 6:52And crowds are amassing outside of the home
  107. 6:56where Jesus and Lazarus and Mary and Martha,
  108. 7:00where they all are.
  109. 7:01And the scripture tells us, which you're gonna see,
  110. 7:04that they came, many of them wanted to see Jesus.
  111. 7:06Oh yes, yes you are, we wanna see him, but I don't know
  112. 7:11if they were Jamaican, but may heard there
  113. 7:12be a dead modern race back to life in there.
  114. 7:15That was a terrible accident, I knew.
  115. 7:17But may God see it anyway.
  116. 7:20They heard that the resurrected Lazarus was in the house.
  117. 7:24So people were coming because they wanted to see it.
  118. 7:30I mean, can you envision that?
  119. 7:31Man, look down there on Fifth Street, 1735, Fifth Street.
  120. 7:36Go five blocks to North, three blocks west, go there.
  121. 7:39That's the man.
  122. 7:41He's in there right now, having dinner.
  123. 7:43Raised from the dead, my dude was in the tomb four days.
  124. 7:46We thought when they rolled that stone away,
  125. 7:50man, the stench is coming.
  126. 7:54Old boy is in there eating dinner right now.
  127. 7:56guys, that's what was happening. That's the backdrop and context for the verses that we
  128. 8:01have here. So I'm going to read John chapter 12 verses 9 through 11. This is what the
  129. 8:06scripture says. When the large crowd of the Jews learned that Jesus was there, they came
  130. 8:13not only on account of him, but also to see Lazarus, whom he had raised from the dead.
  131. 8:21So the chief priests made plans to put Lazarus to death also because on account of him, many
  132. 8:29of the Jews were going away and believing in Jesus.
  133. 8:34So what you see here, as I mentioned to you already previously, the chief priests and the
  134. 8:39Pharisees had already determined, man, we got to kill this Jesus.
  135. 8:44This is before he went to the cross.
  136. 8:45This is the Pharisees and we got to kill him.
  137. 8:48And when you see later the scandal of the illegal trial, the consorting with the Romans, have
  138. 8:59Jesus put the death, that was really just, I won't say just, but that was really the fulfillment
  139. 9:04of a conspiracy that had already started long before that.
  140. 9:08Long before that many of the priests were saying, we got to put this dude to death.
  141. 9:11So it was kind of like, we want to kill him.
  142. 9:13We just need to get a justification for our murder, you know?
  143. 9:17But not only did they want to kill Jesus, because what did they seek to protect?
  144. 9:21The script tells us they wanted to keep people keep Jews in particular from converting to
  145. 9:27becoming followers of the way of Christ.
  146. 9:30So the best way to do that is kill him.
  147. 9:32Well, now you have an additional source of tangible evidence that he's no mere man.
  148. 9:39He's truly God and truly man because the man who he raised from the dead is sitting
  149. 9:43right there next to him at dinner.
  150. 9:48So they confect the plot to kill Lazarus too.
  151. 9:52Why did he want to kill Lazarus?
  152. 9:53Because Lazarus served as potent evidence, exhibit A evidence that Jesus was exactly who
  153. 10:01he said he was.
  154. 10:04Now it's interesting that the Scriptures tell us very plainly that the, I would argue the
  155. 10:09demonically inspired anti-Christ scheme was not interested at all in truth.
  156. 10:20I don't want to paint overly broad with an overly broad brush.
  157. 10:22There were many Pharisees that came to Christ.
  158. 10:25You know, Nicodemus is one, right?
  159. 10:28Christmas is another, Sosenees is another.
  160. 10:31There were many Pharisees that came to Christ.
  161. 10:35Paul is another, right?
  162. 10:37But the general overarching position of the Pharisees
  163. 10:41in the high priest in particular,
  164. 10:43the chief priest in particular was Antichrist.
  165. 10:46And so the plot to kill Jesus first
  166. 10:48and then to kill Lazarus as well
  167. 10:50is because they were not interested in whether or not Jesus could in fact truly be Messiah.
  168. 10:55They were not interested in, well, could this be a true way?
  169. 10:58We've had a lot of good teachers.
  170. 11:00I mean, Gamelia was a beast to teach.
  171. 11:04We even had in our nation's history amazing prophets.
  172. 11:09But nobody who's claimed to be Messiah predicted his own death and resurrection and has demonstrated
  173. 11:13the power while claiming to be God to raise from the dead.
  174. 11:17Even if we had prophets who participated in resurrections like Elijah, he never claimed
  175. 11:22to be God, yet this cat is claiming to be God.
  176. 11:26And they were not interested in learning
  177. 11:29whether or not that, whether it was true.
  178. 11:31So what you see here are evil doers who sought
  179. 11:35to advance their agenda, not by reason and persuasion
  180. 11:41and logical articulation and rationality employed,
  181. 11:44no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
  182. 11:47they sought to advance their agenda by employing violence
  183. 11:53to shut up their opposition.
  184. 11:56This is why you see consistently the advocates
  185. 11:59for things like censorship are people who recognize
  186. 12:06that they are incapable of winning the day
  187. 12:09through reason and persuasion.
  188. 12:13You know what I mean?
  189. 12:16They want us to just shut up their opposition.
  190. 12:18That's why everywhere from Mao's China to Pol Pot
  191. 12:23whole pot to Hitler, to Stalin, to Mussolini.
  192. 12:31When you go down the line, these people didn't allow dissent.
  193. 12:35Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, dehu?
  194. 12:38Descent, well, that's what the Supreme Court writers write.
  195. 12:41No, they're not allowing countervailing opinions.
  196. 12:44They're going to enforce their hegemony by just that force.
  197. 12:50You see the same thing happening in our country.
  198. 12:54We experienced this during the Schmovit debacle.
  199. 12:58We can't allow people to have an opinion
  200. 13:00different than Anthony Fauci.
  201. 13:03So what we need to do is shut down anybody
  202. 13:05who's saying something different.
  203. 13:08Hamilton Corner's gonna have Dr. Christina Parks on.
  204. 13:11We'll just shut off his YouTube channel.
  205. 13:15What I want you to see is that it's not,
  206. 13:18because sometimes when we think about
  207. 13:19or we use political terminology,
  208. 13:21we can often lose our tether to the fact
  209. 13:28that no, that's real evil afoot.
  210. 13:30The desire to assert one's agenda by shutting up your opposition is a desire that comes
  211. 13:37from hell, that comes from the fumes of hell.
  212. 13:39It's a demonic desire.
  213. 13:43It's a demonic desire.
  214. 13:45And this is why you see more and more people, you know, a lot of regressives, surveys out
  215. 13:49later who they think, well, yeah, you can use violence to protect yourself from hate speech
  216. 13:54and says, what?
  217. 13:55What?
  218. 13:57Guys, that's because that ideology comes from the fumes of hell.
  219. 14:02I also want you to know that this is why many of you are facing such strong opposition right
  220. 14:08now is very similar to the reason why the plot was confected to kill Lazarus.
  221. 14:14Why because you're tangible evidence of what Jesus says is true.
  222. 14:20So the opposition cannot overcome the evidence.
  223. 14:26So now we have to destroy the evidence.
  224. 14:29of those tail as old as time. But we have no need to lose heart because
  225. 14:36Satan, because Jesus has not allowed us to be ignorant to Satan's devices. We have
  226. 14:45been given a privilege and the mandate to contend for the faith that has been
  227. 14:50once and for all passed down to the saints. We've been ordained for this
  228. 14:54moment. AFA action is the political arm of AFA.

  240. 16:07This is the Hamilton Corner, an American family radio.
  241. 16:11Welcome back to the Hamilton Corner, Abraham,
  242. 16:13Hamilton III here.
  243. 16:14I am delighted to be joined by my brother from another mother,
  244. 16:18but the same heavenly father, Ryan Bomburger,
  245. 16:21co-founder of the Radiance Foundation,
  246. 16:23author of Should Have Been Aborted,
  247. 16:25protagonist, I'll say it that way,
  248. 16:27of the Should Have Been Aborted documentary,
  249. 16:30which is just so powerful.
  250. 16:33I just thank God for you, the work that you
  251. 16:34and your wonderful wife and your beautiful family
  252. 16:37are doing with the Radiance Foundation.
  253. 16:39Thank you so much for joining me here again
  254. 16:41on the Hamilton Corner.
  255. 16:42Hey, it's great to be here with you.
  256. 16:44Man, so when we were talking before we came on,
  257. 16:49I was saying, you're just causing trouble
  258. 16:50all over the world.
  259. 16:52I don't know what an agitator's gonna be,
  260. 16:54what an agitator be.
  261. 16:56That's what I am.
  262. 16:58Well, yeah, I'm gonna say it's a good thing.
  263. 17:02It's a good thing because I know you
  264. 17:03when I know your commitment to Christ
  265. 17:05and your adherence to a biblical worldview.
  266. 17:08So that agitation is welcome.
  267. 17:11We love it, we need more of it.
  268. 17:13Now what I'm talking about in particular
  269. 17:14is that you and your lovely wife co-authored
  270. 17:17a set of books a while ago.
  271. 17:19He is he and she is she.
  272. 17:21We talked about it here in the programs
  273. 17:23that many of our listeners have been made aware
  274. 17:26of what you're doing.
  275. 17:27You have it right there if you're watching the show.
  276. 17:28Those are the two books that I'm talking about.
  277. 17:31They're children's books that are animated children's books.
  278. 17:33For those who may not be aware of them, Ryan, what are those books about he is he
  279. 17:38and she is she and why did you and Bethany write and publish them?
  280. 17:44They are about God's biological design for us.
  281. 17:47I mean, he made us male and female as obviously, as Genesis says, and so living
  282. 17:52in Loudon County, Virginia, my wife and I decided, Hey, let's take on the pronouns.
  283. 17:56So that's why we came up with he is he and she is she and the books is celebrate
  284. 18:00beautiful biological her and adorable lovable him.
  285. 18:04And it just celebrates what it means to be a girl, what it means to be boy
  286. 18:07and celebrates motherhood and fatherhood.
  287. 18:09That's what it is in a nutshell.
  288. 18:11Shouldn't be controversial, but it's 2026 people.
  289. 18:14I'm man and they're beautifully illustrated for those who may not have them yet.
  290. 18:18What are you waiting for?
  291. 18:20Go to radiancefoundation.org or radiance.life.
  292. 18:23We'll take you there to order your copies of the books.
  293. 18:25If you're watching, you can see both of the books right now, even on over
  294. 18:28Ryan's right and left shoulders, that they're there,
  295. 18:32beautifully animated, and they're for children.
  296. 18:34It's amazing that we have to affirm this foundational
  297. 18:38fundamental truth because the deception of our society
  298. 18:43is so ubiquitous.
  299. 18:45Now another question, I don't know if you can answer
  300. 18:47this one or not, do you have direct mailing access
  301. 18:50to send them to Justice Katanji Brown Jackson?
  302. 18:52Because she might need to be reminded.
  303. 18:56She could benefit.
  304. 18:57I mean, who knew that we would have a justice
  305. 18:59who couldn't, you know, define what a woman is,
  306. 19:01but that would be great.
  307. 19:03I should, I'm in DC often,
  308. 19:05I should just drop by the Supreme Court and offer to.
  309. 19:09I don't even know how that works.
  310. 19:10How do you get something to a justice?
  311. 19:11I don't.
  312. 19:12So the answer to that is I don't.
  313. 19:13Okay, okay.
  314. 19:14I think I can help you figure that out.
  315. 19:16I know how you can get it to her because she, her,
  316. 19:19you know what I said, get it to her.
  317. 19:21Mm-hmm.
  318. 19:22Because she's clearly ambiguity.
  319. 19:24No ambiguity at all.
  320. 19:26Now, I asked you to join me on the show today because,
  321. 19:29you know, I monitored the courts in our country
  322. 19:31for a little bit and I came across this one case
  323. 19:34in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals
  324. 19:36and it had to do with a gentleman who's a teacher
  325. 19:39in the Oregon Public Schools, his name is Roderick E. Tice II.
  326. 19:44No, righty Rod had the audacity,
  327. 19:47the audacity to allow children in the school to read your books.
  328. 19:53Would you explain a little bit about what's going on
  329. 19:55with that case for our audience here
  330. 19:56to bring them up to speed as it was transferred in our country.
  331. 20:00Look, every teacher and employee in that school system,
  332. 20:03Rod Tice is a licensed clinical social worker
  333. 20:06and he works for Intermountain Education Service District,
  334. 20:10which serves a number of school districts there in Oregon.
  335. 20:13So like other teachers and other colleagues,
  336. 20:17you know, they get to decorate their classroom,
  337. 20:19they get to decorate their offices,
  338. 20:20they get to put things in there that reflect who they are,
  339. 20:23and that's what he did.
  340. 20:24Other people put in Black Lives Matter and anti-ice posters
  341. 20:29and pro-Palestinian posters and LGBTQ DEI stuff,
  342. 20:35all that kind of stuff.
  343. 20:36So he was putting in something that simply just reinforced
  344. 20:41what is actually taught in the schools,
  345. 20:44actually taught in their science classes.
  346. 20:46They teach binary biological gender.
  347. 20:48And so he displayed the books behind his desk.
  348. 20:51He was not reading them to students.
  349. 20:53He actually didn't read them at all.
  350. 20:54There's one teacher who complained, one colleague who complained.
  351. 20:58And what she did is she sent into eighth graders pretending to want to read the book
  352. 21:04and Rod hadn't read the books.
  353. 21:05It was just the offense was the covers and he had gone through months and months
  354. 21:09of harassment, interrogation, all kinds of meetings, told that, you know,
  355. 21:13he was acting in a hostile manner that the books had an animus towards certain
  356. 21:18parts of the community. They weren't inclusive.
  357. 21:20I mean, he went through months and months of that.
  358. 21:21So all of a sudden, these eighth graders come into his classroom,
  359. 21:23to read the books and the kept pressure and it was like intense pressure and he was uncomfortable
  360. 21:29and he goes, okay I guess you can read the books. And so they read them out loud. The teacher who
  361. 21:33or the colleague who filed the complaint was recording the eighth graders doing this. Then he
  362. 21:40gets fired. ADF took his case and now went to the ninth circuit and we have this insane ruling two
  363. 21:49to the one saying that expressing biological facts
  364. 21:54is not protected speech.
  365. 21:59That's where we are.
  366. 21:59I'm laughing, that because this is funny.
  367. 22:02This is absurd.
  368. 22:06Before you came on the air, I was talking about John 12
  369. 22:09verses 9-3-11 when after Lazarus was resurrected,
  370. 22:14he was having dinner with Mary, Martha and Jesus,
  371. 22:17and they're having basically a dinner party.
  372. 22:19And crowds started to amass us outside their home
  373. 22:22because Jesus was present, yes,
  374. 22:24but a lot of the Jews wanted to see Lazarus, you know?
  375. 22:27And that was followed by a plot to not only kill Jesus,
  376. 22:31but to kill Lazarus too.
  377. 22:33You know, because Lazarus was evidence,
  378. 22:36exhibit A that what Jesus claimed was actually true.
  379. 22:41And one of the points that I made is that
  380. 22:44demonic schemes often include a conspiracy
  381. 22:49to murder the evidence of truth.
  382. 22:54And I see this happening now.
  383. 22:55I mean, wouldn't this come from the same crowd
  384. 22:57of people to say that we're against book bands?
  385. 23:00They're not against book bands.
  386. 23:02They are the book banners.
  387. 23:03In fact, there is a, I don't remember the author,
  388. 23:06but he wrote this extensively researched article
  389. 23:10that detailed the book banning across the country
  390. 23:12and he found irrefutably that the books that were banned
  391. 23:17were those of conservative and Christian artists.
  392. 23:19Those were the books that were largely being banned.
  393. 23:21When the other side talks about book banning,
  394. 23:24what they mean is they find it offensive
  395. 23:26that a parent doesn't want porn and pedophilia
  396. 23:29pedaled in their elementary school, middle school,
  397. 23:33high school.
  398. 23:34That's what they're talking about,
  399. 23:35inappropriate content that doesn't belong in school.
  400. 23:37It's not that people can't access it,
  401. 23:38it's not that they're banned,
  402. 23:40there's not some book burning,
  403. 23:42but these books are actually being banned.
  404. 23:44And that's the insanity of this whole thing,
  405. 23:47that books that are reinforcing what is being taught
  406. 23:50in the schools from a scientific perspective
  407. 23:53are somehow too controversial that they create
  408. 23:56in a hostile environment and aren't inclusive.
  409. 23:59The insanity about that too is that how is a book,
  410. 24:03I mean, over 90% of Americans identify as self-identify
  411. 24:08according to Gallup as heterosexual.
  412. 24:10How is it not inclusive when you're actually including
  413. 24:12the vast majority of Americans who identify
  414. 24:15particular way, but somehow a book that's that's culturally diverse, you know,
  415. 24:20there's a color diversity in these books, that somehow is not inclusive. That's
  416. 24:26that's how the school approached it and that's why they were incredibly hostile
  417. 24:31to Rod Tice prior to him being fired and of course what led to the firing itself.
  418. 24:35And now just to kind of run out reiterate some of the facts you mentioned
  419. 24:40that Rod Tice just had the books in his classroom. He didn't affirmatively
  420. 24:43require anybody to read him, he wasn't reading him to anybody,
  421. 24:47but he was approached by two eighth graders
  422. 24:49that just so happened to coincidentally
  423. 24:52request to read the books out loud while one teacher,
  424. 24:55one complaining teacher, just so happened to be recording.
  425. 24:59Now, I'm sure that that is just a coincidence,
  426. 25:03the surely, Rod Tysus colleague getting set him up
  427. 25:07to set the stage for his ultimate harassment
  428. 25:09and later ultimately even termination.
  429. 25:12Right, I mean, it was a complete setup.
  430. 25:13I just knew who to clarify something.
  431. 25:15Rodta does not actually have a classroom.
  432. 25:17He has an office.
  433. 25:18He has two different offices in two different schools.
  434. 25:21So it was an office.
  435. 25:22Whereas in a classroom, these same teachers
  436. 25:25are putting up all kinds of political propaganda all the time.
  437. 25:29And propaganda that's actually in contradiction
  438. 25:33to what they're teaching in their English classes
  439. 25:35as far as pronouns and gender, and in their science classes.
  440. 25:38So why aren't they held to that same standard?
  441. 25:42Man, you know, it makes me think,
  442. 25:43and I forgot the professor's name,
  443. 25:44but he was a professor at a university
  444. 25:47in San Antonio, Texas,
  445. 25:49and he was teaching biology,
  446. 25:51and he was literally teaching
  447. 25:53the biological chromosomal makeup of humankind,
  448. 25:57and the university fired him.
  449. 25:59They fired him for teaching that,
  450. 26:01and it's like, this is literally a science class.
  451. 26:03This was not just in another class,
  452. 26:06in the same class that he taught there
  453. 26:07for like well over a decade,
  454. 26:10but they fired him for it,
  455. 26:11Because the reality is though the science confirms
  456. 26:14the truth, everything else.
  457. 26:16So see, the social network, the social system of the school
  458. 26:22is contradicting that, which is why they fired Rod Tikes.
  459. 26:26Now you mentioned before that the rationale
  460. 26:29of the court in this because man,
  461. 26:32I'm sick and tired of the insanity coming
  462. 26:34from the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
  463. 26:37But for the court to say that, wait a minute,
  464. 26:40having these books and these children read them
  465. 26:44of their own request, that's another thing.
  466. 26:47In his office is not protected speech
  467. 26:49by the first amendment.
  468. 26:51Like this is crazy.
  469. 26:53Would you share a little bit about the lunacy
  470. 26:55and the ruling as best as you can concerning
  471. 27:00what the Ninth Circuit ruled in this case?
  472. 27:02Sure thing, actually I wanna read one sentence from the ruling.
  473. 27:05Yeah, please.
  474. 27:06Again, it was a two one decision,
  475. 27:08but it says here, no court has found that teachers,
  476. 27:10First Amendment rights,
  477. 27:12extended to choosing their own curriculum
  478. 27:14or classroom management techniques
  479. 27:16in contravention of school policy or dictates.
  480. 27:20Here, and this is one of the things they held against him,
  481. 27:24that he was actually providing a different curriculum.
  482. 27:26How was he providing a curriculum by having images?
  483. 27:29I mean, the teacher who filed the complaint,
  484. 27:31by the way, I'm holding this book up again,
  485. 27:33who filed the complaint, never actually read the book.
  486. 27:36she was or he actually I'm not sure if it's a she or he.
  487. 27:39Maybe that person's not even aware whether he's a he or she.
  488. 27:43Anyway, that wouldn't be surprising.
  489. 27:45But he is he.
  490. 27:47This is what offended, and this is my son, Justice, by the way.
  491. 27:51He's not offensive at all.
  492. 27:54But didn't read the content of the book,
  493. 27:55but here you have this statement made.
  494. 27:59He what actually, and they were saying
  495. 28:01that he was doing this in contradiction
  496. 28:04to the curriculum that was decided.
  497. 28:05Actually, he was reinforcing the curriculum
  498. 28:09that was decided in these schools.
  499. 28:11So there again, one of many false assertions
  500. 28:15in this ruling that is deeply troubling,
  501. 28:17but it goes deeper.
  502. 28:19Like if you have, if you're a teacher,
  503. 28:21or you're a public education specialist in these schools,
  504. 28:27what this court is saying is everything that comes out
  505. 28:29of your mouth is government speech.
  506. 28:31That's not true.
  507. 28:33I mean, if a student asks you a question, for instance,
  508. 28:35about your faith, your muzzled,
  509. 28:38you're not allowed to answer the question.
  510. 28:40I know it's a different thing to actually bring up
  511. 28:42the subject, but if a student asks you,
  512. 28:44everything that comes out of your mouth is government speech,
  513. 28:47everything that these other teachers are adorning
  514. 28:50their offices and classrooms with, that's government speech.
  515. 28:53When they say government, the same government
  516. 28:54that gives us in the First Amendment,
  517. 28:57our free speech does not say,
  518. 28:59oh, only certain government employees, no, this is the problem.
  519. 29:03And this is why I believe strongly that appealing to the Supreme Court.
  520. 29:06This, I know they've had difficulty in trying to figure this out.
  521. 29:10Oh, the other thing that the distortion was the Kennedy case, the coach who prayed during
  522. 29:14going to the games.
  523. 29:15Yeah.
  524. 29:16Yes.
  525. 29:17They distorted that whole decision from the Supreme Court saying that that was not public,
  526. 29:21that was a private and personal sort of thing.
  527. 29:25It was not private and personal.
  528. 29:26Yes, it was personal.
  529. 29:27Yes.
  530. 29:28In front of everyone.
  531. 29:29It was still in the course of his duties.
  532. 29:32Yes.
  533. 29:33They distorted that too saying that no, it wasn't, this was private and personal, it wasn't in the, in the
  534. 29:40carrying out his duties. It was exactly in the carrying out of his duties. And so
  535. 29:45if the Supreme Court actually accepts this, hopefully they can reverse this. The problem is,
  536. 29:49this covers, people don't realize the 9th Circuit and these Circuit Courts, they cover wide areas.
  537. 29:54You've got, you know, Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Arizona, Idaho, Montana, Alaska, Hawaii.
  538. 30:00I don't have to, I missed any.
  539. 30:01No, you do.
  540. 30:02That's who it covers.
  541. 30:03The largest circuit in the appellate system in our country.
  542. 30:07Yeah.
  543. 30:08I mean, if that's not going to strike fear in other teachers, I mean, you already have
  544. 30:13a lack of courage.
  545. 30:14I'm just going to say this because I witnessed this in Loudon County, Virginia, a lack of
  546. 30:18teachers, Christian teachers standing up for their fellow teachers when Tanner crossed stood
  547. 30:23up against the school here for policy, 8040, which was a pro-trans gender, anti-parent policy.
  548. 30:30He stood with maybe three other teachers.
  549. 30:33I mean, that was it.
  550. 30:35But if this ruling have such a chilling effect on free speech and on the ability to actually
  551. 30:43be someone who has the First Amendment afforded to them, because government employees don't
  552. 30:47lose their constitutional rights when they step on the taxpayer funded property.
  553. 30:51Man, I want to come back to TANO Cross in a moment, but I think it's important to point
  554. 30:56out that this is the same Ninth Circuit that got the coach Joe Kennedy case wrong when the
  555. 31:01case came to them originally before the Supreme Court reversed them previously.
  556. 31:05So it doesn't surprise me that they pervert the Supreme Court's ruling in the Coach Kennedy
  557. 31:12case because they're the ones who ruled in the wrong way previously when the case was
  558. 31:16before them, right?
  559. 31:18Exactly.
  560. 31:19Exactly.
  561. 31:20So they must have been going off of their initial ruling.
  562. 31:23like yours is invalid.
  563. 31:25Yours doesn't hold any weight.
  564. 31:28And I know our friends at ADF,
  565. 31:29for those who don't know what's in line,
  566. 31:31defending freedom, who are representing Rottice,
  567. 31:34thank God for them for taking this up.
  568. 31:37I'm pretty sure they're gonna be all over the fact
  569. 31:39that they may very well be attempting
  570. 31:41the two judges of the three judge panel
  571. 31:43attempting to kind of force into this case
  572. 31:47their wrong rationale concerning the Coase Jocannity case
  573. 31:50that the Supreme Court's ultimately reversed,
  574. 31:52which would likely may very well likely lead
  575. 31:56to the Supreme Court reversing them again in this place.
  576. 32:02Well, that's the disrespect for music.
  577. 32:04I pause because I had this needs.
  578. 32:05I'm sorry.
  579. 32:06The disrespect for music here,
  580. 32:08I want to revisit the Tanner Cross case
  581. 32:10that was right in your own backyard
  582. 32:12when we come back on the other side of the break
  583. 32:13and then to move the conversation forward
  584. 32:17to discuss the necessity to have the courage
  585. 32:22to live the truth and proclaim the truth in our society.
  586. 32:25listening to and or watching the Hamilton Corner. My guest is co-founder of the Radiance Foundation and
  587. 32:31God ordained
  588. 32:34agitator
  589. 32:35Ryan Brownberger stick with us. We'll be right back after this break
  590. 33:00Jesus Christ never once said your delusion defines you keep it up
  591. 33:05Christ in fact peeled the scales away from Paul's eyes Paul identified as a judge in jury
  592. 33:10theologically to go out and kill Christians.
  593. 33:13And then Jesus struck him blind on the road,
  594. 33:17introduced himself, I'm Christ who you're crucifying,
  595. 33:20peeled the scales back and Paul never returned
  596. 33:22to that life of sin.
  597. 33:24Here Todd Herman on a disciples view,
  598. 33:26weekdays 12 PM Central on AFR.
  599. 33:34The Hamilton Quarter Podcast and One-Minute Common Terrence
  600. 33:38are available at AFR.net.
  601. 33:40Back to the Hamilton Quarter on American Family Radio.
  602. 33:45Welcome back to the Hamilton Corner, Abraham Hamilton the third here. My guest is Ryan
  603. 33:49Baumburger and we're discussing really just this egregious ruling out of the Ninth Circuit Court
  604. 33:54of Appeals concerning Rod Tice II. Like saying that, you know, like that. Rod Tice II, who is a licensed
  605. 34:03clinical social worker, he just had the he and she books on display in his office was basically
  606. 34:09set up by a colleague who dispatched to 8th graders to read the books out loud.
  607. 34:15I'm sure, man, that's what 12 and 13 years ago's do.
  608. 34:17Can I, can I, Mr. Tice, can I see that book?
  609. 34:20And then I turned the page and he was he.
  610. 34:23I'm sure that's what the children do all the time, right?
  611. 34:26They just so happen to be recorded by the one teacher who complained that Mr.
  612. 34:32Tice had the books on his shelf.
  613. 34:33It's just, it's frankly disgusting.
  614. 34:36And as we were talking about that, you mentioned the case right in your own backyard with Tanner
  615. 34:42Cross.
  616. 34:43That happens a little while back in Loudoun County and some may not remember that case.
  617. 34:49But I certainly do and I think it's appropriate to bring it up as we're discussing Rod Ticis
  618. 34:53case currently before the Ninth Circuit, which I'm almost positive.
  619. 34:58I'm almost 100% certain that Alliance of Indian Freedom will appeal this to the Supreme Court.
  620. 35:03Well the Supreme Court has to answer the question
  621. 35:08Just
  622. 35:10They created the problem when they decided that the Civil Rights Act when it referred to sex
  623. 35:17It was
  624. 35:19Of course, yes, it's a gorsage of the boston case. Yep. Yes. He's the one who
  625. 35:24Sided with with those who said that yeah, sex included gender identity and sexual orientation gender identity. That's for me
  626. 35:32what started so much of this.
  627. 35:35So you got the public schools that are deep,
  628. 35:38way in over their heads, as far as swimming in the pools
  629. 35:43of LGBTQ plus, plus, plus, plus, and when it comes
  630. 35:47to gender confusion.
  631. 35:48In Loudon County, they have a policy, 80, 40,
  632. 35:50that basically says, if a girl wants to be called a boy,
  633. 35:52teacher must call him a boy, or vice versa.
  634. 35:56If the boy wants to be called a girl,
  635. 35:58they have to buy by that Tanner Cross,
  636. 36:00who has now become a friend of mine,
  637. 36:02Dare to actually speak at a school board meeting
  638. 36:04in Loudoun County and said,
  639. 36:05look, I love my students too much to call a boy,
  640. 36:07a girl and a girl, a boy, I just can't do this.
  641. 36:09It's lying to them and it's a sin.
  642. 36:12Cause I just can't do that.
  643. 36:14And so he was relieved, he was put on
  644. 36:17administrative leave the very next day.
  645. 36:20Well, it took several courts and then it got
  646. 36:22to the Virginia Supreme Court and they reinstated his job.
  647. 36:26I mean, the fact that you have to be reinstated for a,
  648. 36:31physical education teacher, that's his role.
  649. 36:34He studied biology, he knows this stuff.
  650. 36:37For him to have to get his job back by a Supreme Court
  651. 36:41in the state is just insane.
  652. 36:44Unfortunately, Loudon County Public Schools
  653. 36:47and many public schools all across the country
  654. 36:49not only are instituting these gender confusion,
  655. 36:53gender attacking policies and also parent severing,
  656. 36:58being a child parent severing policies.
  657. 37:02They're ignoring the recent Supreme Court ruling on Title IX.
  658. 37:05The Supreme Court, ah, they used the wrong word
  659. 37:10where they said schools may create these policies.
  660. 37:13They should have said schools shall
  661. 37:16because they have to abide,
  662. 37:18how do you get a taxpayer funded entity
  663. 37:22to abide by the law?
  664. 37:24You don't say, well, you can create this
  665. 37:26or you may create this.
  666. 37:27No, you shall. That's where the Supreme Court aired. But of course, Loudoun County, Fairfax
  667. 37:32County and several other counties in our state are ignoring it and many others from coast to coast.
  668. 37:39And it's creating this kind of problem. Tanner Cross was part of that collateral damage
  669. 37:46because he was one of the few teachers who was courageous enough to stand up.
  670. 37:51And that that deficiency or deficit and courage is something that is not limited to
  671. 37:56the educational arena, but we're seeing it all around across the board in our society,
  672. 38:04which again, going back to John 12, that's the whole purpose of this kind of
  673. 38:09censorious totalitarian disposition to where you not only want to stop the immediate
  674. 38:14provocateur, but you also want to sit on kind of a chilling effect on any others
  675. 38:19who might be willing to step up and to say something that would contravene the
  676. 38:25prevailing notions that seek to be established as standard.
  677. 38:29But what does the Lord require of us who profess to be his children,
  678. 38:34who are armed with his word and are indwelled by his spirit?
  679. 38:41He expects us to speak the truth. He expects us to, I mean, we're supposed to go into all the world and preach the gospel.
  680. 38:47What is the gospel? It is truth. It is truth about the entire human condition.
  681. 38:51And if we're not willing to speak up,
  682. 38:55speak the truth into areas of God-given design.
  683. 38:59I mean, when we talk about identity, that's everything.
  684. 39:03How God designed us and why He designed us,
  685. 39:06how He designed us and how that's to be carried out.
  686. 39:10And also the fact that we're not even moving many Christians,
  687. 39:13not even move to protect young children.
  688. 39:16We're talking about irreversible damage
  689. 39:18being done to these young children,
  690. 39:20not just because of the puberty blockers
  691. 39:23and the body mutilating surgeries,
  692. 39:25which now are being pushed on these young children,
  693. 39:29but because of the mindset,
  694. 39:30because first and foremost, they're spirit.
  695. 39:34We are too, especially as a parent,
  696. 39:37I'm to guard my children,
  697. 39:39not just physically, most important spiritually.
  698. 39:42And so many Christians have abdicated
  699. 39:44their responsibility and their role in this.
  700. 39:46They give it up to the school, they give it up to media,
  701. 39:49they give it up to sports,
  702. 39:50They give it up to, it's like when Jesus said,
  703. 39:52we're under diseases, what are Caesars?
  704. 39:54What belongs to Caesars?
  705. 39:57Our children don't belong to Caesars.
  706. 39:58Amen.
  707. 39:59Our children's spiritual lives don't belong to Caesars.
  708. 40:01Our children's bodies certainly don't belong to Caesars.
  709. 40:04And yet so many Christian parents are willing to do that,
  710. 40:07either by their direct action or by their,
  711. 40:11their complicit nature, their apathy.
  712. 40:14It's heartbreaking.
  713. 40:17That's why when I talk about being in a agitator,
  714. 40:18I mean, I'm agitating because I do it out of love, you know.
  715. 40:23We're motivated to love, love rejoices in the truth.
  716. 40:27And that's why I agitate.
  717. 40:30That's why there are many others that I work with who are agitators, who are factivists
  718. 40:34like I am, because they understand what our calling is.
  719. 40:41We are to preach the gospel, yes, we are to save souls.
  720. 40:44And in that process, we also have to, I mean, Proverbs 31, 8 through 9.
  721. 40:49comes to mind. I mean, we're the voice for the voiceless, ensuring justice for those being crushed.
  722. 40:53Literally being crushed. Yeah. And, and, you know, the great commission is, is to, you know,
  723. 40:58make disciples and that deficiency encouraged, man, it's, it's, it's rife, you know, it's rife
  724. 41:06all over our country. And there were many, and I see this case as one of the examples to show
  725. 41:10that that is not true. There are many who are saying, well, you know, quote, unquote, woke is done and
  726. 41:14and all that's over with it.
  727. 41:15I'm just like, whoa, when you say those kind of things,
  728. 41:18it shows that there's potentially an ignorance
  729. 41:21as to the nature of evil.
  730. 41:23Like it doesn't stop.
  731. 41:25It doesn't just say, oh, lost that one.
  732. 41:27Guess how I'm going?
  733. 41:28Go hiking.
  734. 41:29You know, that's not how it works.
  735. 41:33It doesn't at all.
  736. 41:34Because reality is discipleship with the constant.
  737. 41:37There's a lot you mentioned that complicity often
  738. 41:39is a result of apathy.
  739. 41:41you know, that what we allow is reflective of what we also embrace and believe.
  740. 41:47Not only what we are affirmatively representing, but what we passively, and I would argue,
  741. 41:52negligently, allow speaks to that as well.
  742. 41:55But in terms of the idea that, you know, the era of work is over, what would you say to somebody
  743. 42:02would say, oh, Ryan, why are you making a big deal of all of this stuff?
  744. 42:06You know, Trump was elected and those things are passé.
  745. 42:11What would you say to a person who would say that to you?
  746. 42:14Okay, well, Trump is not Jesus, no matter the AI renderings that are released.
  747. 42:21He is not our savior, only Christ is our savior.
  748. 42:25And you're right, evil doesn't, evil is relentless.
  749. 42:29It never sleeps.
  750. 42:31Thankfully, God and His goodness are even more powerful.
  751. 42:35We have to be forever vigilant.
  752. 42:37I mean, for people to say, you know,
  753. 42:39woke is dead and all these, you know, corporate America,
  754. 42:42they've now separated from them.
  755. 42:45They just changed the names and they just wait.
  756. 42:47That's what evil likes to do.
  757. 42:48Just like, this is Laylow for a little bit.
  758. 42:50And then all of a sudden we'll re-emerge
  759. 42:53and we'll call it something on social-emotional learning.
  760. 42:55Yeah.
  761. 42:56That's what they call it in elementary schools.
  762. 42:57It's the same garbage.
  763. 42:59It's the same critical race theory,
  764. 43:00which critical race theory isn't the beginning of,
  765. 43:03Evil has existed in all kinds of forms and separation
  766. 43:06and trying to pretend that, you know,
  767. 43:09the word of God isn't the answer in the remedy
  768. 43:12for humankind's ails.
  769. 43:14I mean, critical race theory is nothing new.
  770. 43:16It's just, it's a rebrand of evil from way back one.
  771. 43:20And so it really frustrates me
  772. 43:22because it allows Christians the false sense of confidence
  773. 43:25that they've done it.
  774. 43:27We've done our job.
  775. 43:28And like you said with discipleship,
  776. 43:30My kids are 21, 18, 17, and 15.
  777. 43:34The discipleship never ends.
  778. 43:36It may take on different forms and different tactics,
  779. 43:39but it never ends because Satan is constantly seeking
  780. 43:42to devour.
  781. 43:43He does not take time off.
  782. 43:46And we as Christians can't take time off either.
  783. 43:49Amen.
  784. 43:50I mean, it is not our place to be perpetually on defense.
  785. 43:56to be perpetually on defense.
  786. 43:59We have got to assert affirmatively
  787. 44:02what it is we're seeking to pursue.
  788. 44:04I've been talking a lot recently
  789. 44:05about what the ascendancy of things
  790. 44:08like the Democratic Socialists of America
  791. 44:10and all of the things that are happening
  792. 44:12because there has been a chasm that's created
  793. 44:14that has allowed the messages of the DSA
  794. 44:17to be attractive to a segment of our society.
  795. 44:20And I've said it's not enough for us
  796. 44:22to highlight the historical evidences
  797. 44:26that the facts are Marxism, wherever it's been embraced,
  798. 44:29has breed death, poverty, and destruction.
  799. 44:32Every single time. Absolutely right.
  800. 44:35But it's not enough for us to say that
  801. 44:37without offering a clear affirmative vision
  802. 44:40for what we should pursue, not merely what we are resisting
  803. 44:43and opposed to, but what are we affirmatively pursuing?
  804. 44:47And that needs to be even the more fervently
  805. 44:50and passionately communicated.
  806. 44:53What do you say in light of that,
  807. 44:55especially with the example like the DSA,
  808. 44:58getting more and more popularity,
  809. 44:59the Democrat nominee for the US Senate seat in Michigan,
  810. 45:03just this week, is a close fellow
  811. 45:06and close friend and fellow with a son piker
  812. 45:09and all of the DSA people are you saying,
  813. 45:10I'm not a Marxist, but all my friends
  814. 45:12just happen to be Marxist, Islamists, but I'm not one.
  815. 45:18Right, sure, sure you're not.
  816. 45:20So they depend on ignorance.
  817. 45:21And what better way to be able to dupe a population
  818. 45:25than to dumb them down on our public schools?
  819. 45:26Because that's what keeps happening.
  820. 45:28That's why these scores that keep falling,
  821. 45:30this is not unintentional.
  822. 45:33I mean, there is a reason why.
  823. 45:35And not having a grasp of history allows people
  824. 45:38like the democratic socialists of America,
  825. 45:41the communists of America,
  826. 45:44to pretend that history doesn't matter.
  827. 45:47And they can just make up stuff.
  828. 45:48Like when you heard AOC talking about the Senate
  829. 45:50was created by Jim Crow.
  830. 45:52Well, the Senate was formed, I believe in 1789.
  831. 45:55Jim Crow laws and black codes, 1877 is when that emerged.
  832. 45:58So no, the Senate was not created by Jim Crow,
  833. 46:01but when you have no understanding of history
  834. 46:04and you're prone to just reacting to, oh, well, it's racism.
  835. 46:09Jim Crow, that's horrible.
  836. 46:10Well, of course you brought us Jim Crow.
  837. 46:11You can thank the Democratic Party.
  838. 46:13Of course, you wouldn't know that from the blacks,
  839. 46:15the Smithsonian, the African American Museum of History and Culture.
  840. 46:18I just went to that a few days ago and you would never know.
  841. 46:22It was almost like there weren't two parties involved in the abolition of slavery.
  842. 46:26But DSA, they depend on the total ignorance of the past so that they'd
  843. 46:33then rewrite the present.
  844. 46:35And for people who want to give up on capitalism as an economic theory,
  845. 46:39it's absolutely insane.
  846. 46:41But it's because we have abandoned, like what I have on my shirt,
  847. 46:45we have abandoned basic truths.
  848. 46:48We've abandoned basic truths about ourselves.
  849. 46:51And it's so much, if you can confuse people and get them
  850. 46:54to just disregard who were created to be,
  851. 46:58everything else is easy.
  852. 47:00And that's why they've had such a stranglehold
  853. 47:04because we have a spiritual crisis going on in this country.
  854. 47:08Yes, we have an education crisis,
  855. 47:11but more importantly, we have a spiritual crisis
  856. 47:13which is allowing these openings
  857. 47:16and for people to embrace such destructive lies.
  858. 47:19I can't even believe, I cannot believe we're facing this
  859. 47:23in 2026 and I'll tell you what, the conservatives
  860. 47:26who are laughing this off, I hope AOC runs
  861. 47:28and I'll let the DSA run.
  862. 47:30You guys are ignorant.
  863. 47:31You don't even see that evil is right at the gate
  864. 47:35and the gate's been blown down.
  865. 47:39Man.
  866. 47:40I'm an optimist though.
  867. 47:42I am an optimist because I do believe
  868. 47:44that Christians can turn this around.
  869. 47:46And it is only Christians that will be able to turn this
  870. 47:49around to influence those in power, including Trump,
  871. 47:52to be making better decisions, including our other
  872. 47:54elected leaders.
  873. 47:55So I am hopeful.
  874. 47:56I'm not a doom and gloom, but my word, wake up people,
  875. 47:59wake up.
  876. 48:01What is the core of your hope?
  877. 48:03You say you're optimistic and you have hope,
  878. 48:05what's the core of that?
  879. 48:07Jesus.
  880. 48:08I mean, that's the only.
  881. 48:11He is the reason for hope.
  882. 48:13He is the reason for the confidence that we can shift culture, that we as a praying nation,
  883. 48:21I mean my people call by my name, will humble themselves and pray.
  884. 48:26Oh my word, pray.
  885. 48:28That's the only, I do that as a father.
  886. 48:30I'm praying every day for my wife and for my kiddos.
  887. 48:33That is the battleground.
  888. 48:36Jesus is the core.
  889. 48:37Jesus is the hope and that's my only hope.
  890. 48:41Amen.
  891. 48:41I have nothing without him.
