70. 4:59and times of challenge, God's Word is a lamp into our feet

72. 5:05To begin today, we're going to go to the book of Jeremiah, chapter 28.
73. 5:09It's 17 verses in the entire chapter, but I want to explain a little bit
74. 5:14That in order to truly understand and grasp what is happening in chapter 28. You have to go back to chapter 27
75. 5:19where you'll see the Lord and structs Jeremiah to put a yoke around his own neck and
76. 5:28to bind himself
77. 5:30With straps as he delivers God's word to multiple nations initially
78. 5:34I mean, he sends word to messengers, to eat them, to mowab, to ammon, to tire, to thiden,
79. 5:42as well as to Judah, to explain that it is Yahweh himself that has allowed the Babylonian
80. 5:49ascendancy, and that he explains that Babylon will serve as God's instrument of judgment,
81. 5:55and then Babylon will then be judged themselves.
82. 6:01As Jeremiah is executing what God calls him to do there, he goes to basically the court
83. 6:09of King Zedekiah where their priests and prophets there and delivers the word of the Lord and
84. 6:17will pick up right there in Jeremiah chapter 28.
85. 6:21And I'm sharing this for a reason.
86. 6:23And this is what God's word says.
87. 6:24And that same year, at the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah, King of Judah, in the fifth
88. 6:29month of the fourth year just to let you know this is a time reference that's indicating
89. 6:35the events recorded in chapter 28 of the Book of Jeremiah are occurring at about 594-593
90. 6:41BC. So the Babylonian conquest has already began and siege but it just has not been
91. 6:46culminated yet. It begins at about 605 BC and culminates at about 586 BC.
92. 6:52Back to the text. On that same year at the beginning of the reign of Zedekah, the king
93. 6:56of Judah in the fifth month of the fourth year.
94. 6:59Hananiah, the son of Azure, the prophet from Gibeon,
95. 7:02spoke to me, this is Jeremiah saying,
96. 7:04and it spoke to me in the house of the Lord.
97. 7:07I'm sorry I said in the King's court,
98. 7:09but this is actually in the temple in Jerusalem.
99. 7:12Hananiah speaks to Jeremiah in the house of the Lord,
100. 7:15in the presence of the priests and all the people
101. 7:18saying, verse two, thus says the Lord of hosts,
102. 7:21the God of Israel, I have broken the yoke
103. 7:24of the King of Babylon.
104. 7:25Now remember Jeremiah standing there with a yoke around his neck.
105. 7:30All right.
106. 7:31And this Hananiah cat is saying the Lord is saying he has broken the yoke of the
107. 7:35king of Babylon verse three.
108. 7:37All right.

110. 7:39This is Hananiah speaking again.
111. 7:40Verse three within two years I will bring back to this place.
112. 7:44All the vessels of the Lord's house, which never can answer king of Babylon
113. 7:48took away from this place and carried to Babylon.

115. 7:53the son of Jehoiukim, king of Judah and all the exiles,
116. 7:57from Judah who went to Babylon, declares the Lord,
117. 8:00for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.
118. 8:03Verse 5, then the prophet Jeremiah spoke to Hanania the prophet
119. 8:07in the presence of the priests and all the people who were standing
120. 8:10in the house of the Lord. And the prophet Jeremiah said,
121. 8:13Amen! May the Lord do so.
122. 8:16May the Lord make the words that you have prophesied come true,
123. 8:20and bring back to this place from Babylon, the vessels of the house of the Lord, and all
124. 8:25the exiles.
125. 8:27Yet here now this word that I speak in your hearing, and in the hearing of all the people,
126. 8:33the prophets who preceded you and me from ancient times prophesied war, famine and pestilence
127. 8:40against many countries and great kingdoms.
128. 8:43As for the prophet who prophesies peace, when the word of that prophet comes to pass, then
129. 8:49will be known that the Lord has truly sent the prophet. Then the prophet Hananiah took
130. 8:53the yoke from the neck of Jeremiah, the prophet, and broke them, the yoke bars. And Hananiah
131. 9:00spoke in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus says the Lord, even so I will
132. 9:06break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon, from the neck of all the nations within two
133. 9:11years. But Jeremiah, the prophet, went his way. Verse 12,
134. 9:17Sometime after the prophet, Hennania had broken the yoke bars from off the neck of Jeremiah the prophet the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah

137. 9:30You have broken wooden bars, but you have made in their place bars of iron

140. 9:43have along and they shall serve him, for I have given to him
141. 9:47even the beasts of the field." And Jeremiah the prophet said
142. 9:50to the prophet Hananiah, listen, Hananiah, the Lord has not
143. 9:55sent you and you have made this people trust in a lie.
144. 10:00Therefore, thus says the Lord, behold, I will remove you from
145. 10:05the face of the earth. This year you shall die because you have
146. 10:09out of rebellion against the Lord.
147. 10:12In that same year, in the seventh month,
148. 10:15the prophet, Hananiah died.
149. 10:20Several things I would urge you to note and to consider.
150. 10:24First and foremost, God doesn't play about false prophets.
151. 10:30There are people who are speaking falsely,
152. 10:36speaking as if they represent the God of the Bible
153. 10:40when they are not.
154. 10:44The scripture is replete from Old Testament to New Testament, with admonitions and warnings
155. 10:51for false prophets and false teachers.
156. 10:57God held his representatives in such high regard that in the Old Testament, false prophecy carried
157. 11:04within a death sentence.
158. 11:12We should take far more seriously what it means to represent God.
159. 11:19The next thing I want you to note is that remember the false prophet Hananiah said, in
160. 11:23two years in two years, the yoke of Babylon will be broken. Right? In two years. The time
161. 11:35step I mentioned is important because at this junction about 594 BC, it's been over a decade
162. 11:41of Babylon ruling over Judah. That oppression from Babylon included, Nebuchadnezzar carrying
163. 11:52off portions of the vessels from the temple that Solomon constructed.
164. 12:03So much so that Han and I as false prophecy included, some of the vessels that never can
165. 12:09as it took are going to be brought back to.
166. 12:15The reason why I'm pointing this out to you is that this is a biblical example of false
167. 12:21prophets persisting even though judgment is underway.
168. 12:26Sometimes you might think or might be tempted to think, man, things have already turned
169. 12:30surely.
170. 12:31Surely, there will be a lot more humility and a lot more reverence for Yahweh before anybody
171. 12:36would have the audacity to speak falsely in that environment.
172. 12:39But notice that did not happen.
173. 12:42It did not happen.
174. 12:45You had this false prophet claiming peace, peace when there was no peace.
175. 12:49The Lord rebukes Hananiah through Jeremiah saying, you have caused the people of God
176. 12:54to trust in a lie, to trust in a lie.
177. 13:03I'm again pointing this out because I want you to understand clearly the Bible gives us
178. 13:07guidance and indications and understandings that the circumstances as difficult as they
179. 13:11may be are not an inducement or an enticement for false prophets to stop their lying is what
180. 13:17I'm trying to say to you.
181. 13:20This is why discernment is absolutely necessary.
182. 13:25Why would the Lord say through Jeremiah that you and I have caused my people to believe
183. 13:29and a lie because when you see Judah being subjugated to Babylon, what Jews would not want
184. 13:36to hear, man, this is about to be over.
185. 13:38This is about to be over.
186. 13:39Of course, they would want to hear that.
187. 13:42And then Hananiah, I mean, this dude is representing as if this is coming from the Lord.
188. 13:53And the Lord took great, great umbrage at that.
189. 13:58What I'm saying to you is that there is never an occasion, never a circumstance where discernment
190. 14:03is not necessary.
191. 14:06Jeremiah even expresses, man, oh Lord,
192. 14:09it may be so, I hope, I wish what you said could be true.
193. 14:16But what you're saying is not true.
194. 14:18And the evidence of the falsity of what you're saying,
195. 14:22is that even you are going to expire, and an eye.
196. 14:27Brothers and sisters, we need God to give us wisdom,
197. 14:30determine, and resolve for the moment that we're standing in.
198. 14:35spiritual warfare is real and it has evidences and what may be described as common natural phenomena.
199. 14:46The people of God we must be about our Father's business being mindful of the fact that God has
200. 14:50ordained us for this moment, but we cannot afford to be caught up in the cultural zeitgeist instead of
201. 14:56manning our posts as God has positioned us. A discipleship minute with Joseph Parker, Proverbs

391. 30:57to fund the campaign of politicians who are committed to advancing Islam in the United

393. 31:07Their most immediate goal is to elect 30 new members, 30 new Muslims as members of Congress.

477. 36:49anchor baby that his parents were wise enough to have him in America.
478. 36:53But as soon as they could have him here and they were clear on his
479. 36:56citizenship, they took him back to Turkey to raise him.

483. 37:02So yes, it's a great loophole that his parents exploited.

505. 38:06People have podcasts, and then they go on tour called the Fresh and Tour.
506. 38:12And I want to prepare you for this because if I just played this and didn't prepare you,
507. 38:15some of you would be shocked and could not imagine that this was happening.
508. 38:21But Hassan Piker is on stage at the Fresh End Podcast Live Tour and begins to sing a song
509. 38:30in which he's mocking Charlie Kirk's assassination.
510. 38:33Mm-hmm.
511. 38:34Yeah.
512. 38:36Where he says things that, you know, he'll die for what he believes.
513. 38:43And he's singing at the very end.
514. 38:45He goes, yeah, yeah, I'll sing this song at the wedding.
515. 38:49Yeah.
516. 38:51I'll sing this song at the wedding.
517. 38:52This will be a wedding song for us.
518. 38:58a Psalm piker. Clip number seven. Clip seven. Go.
519. 39:04They say what would they champion? Now notice as he's endeavoring to mock Charlie Kirk,
520. 40:23notice how he takes the opportunity to mock Charlie Kirk's faith in Christ? You notice that?
521. 40:30He's taking words that Charlie Kirk said while he was still alive and putting them into a song
522. 40:38in which he's saying he said, yes, for what we believe that we may die. Then he goes on to say,
523. 40:53with his resolve to spread the gospel and his commitment to make heaven known. Did you notice that?
524. 40:58Did you notice that? Did you notice that? You ever wonder what scoffers look like? You just saw.
525. 41:09You just saw. I didn't mention Hasan Piker's a multimillionaire.
526. 41:14He was on stage with other people who are Twitch streamers, who are popular streamers.

528. 41:30that these kind of things were actually happening now.
529. 41:35Now, this is a guy, he's very young in age, but he's becoming a force in the Democrat

582. 45:47While being interviewed from Ukraine, Dana Bash happened to bring up, hey, by the way, there
583. 45:52was this member of the CIA who, you know, did your press, your briefings every day.
584. 45:59It happened to be a dude who's now saying he's a woman.
585. 46:05He, Dana Bache didn't say he, of course, but he said, although you disagreed with him, he
586. 46:11treated him kindly.
587. 46:13This, she asked us, what do you think about being described as having treated this dude
588. 46:18kindly?
589. 46:19What do you think about it?

593. 46:28Quickly, before I let you go, I do want to ask about comments by Julia Curley, former
594. 46:33I'm a CIA officer who served as your daily briefer during the first Trump term.
595. 46:37She's a trans woman.
596. 46:38I spoke to her earlier this week and she said, despite your different views, you treated her
597. 46:43with, quote, great dignity.
598. 46:45And a big moment for her in her life was you telling her mother that you must be very proud
599. 46:49of your daughter.
600. 46:50What was your reaction to hearing her say that?
601. 46:55You know, I haven't read the article.
602. 46:58I appreciate the kind words.
603. 47:03But you and I have known each other a long time daily.
604. 47:06And my conservative values are fairly well known.
605. 47:09But maybe some people didn't quite know that among our Christian values is my wife and I
606. 47:14believe in treating others the way that we'd like to be treated with decency and respect.
607. 47:19And I was heartened to hear Julia reflect that that was the experience that took place
608. 47:35in our office.
609. 47:36Now, as it gives me, did it seem the former governor, former vice president was struggling
610. 47:41with giving his response to this question.
611. 47:43And I mean, I know this man has had media training for years, but more than media training, when
612. 47:50you have a conviction, it ain't that hard to say what you believe, what you think, man.
613. 47:56This is just, this is just, this is just unforced errors.
614. 48:00This is an opportunity to once again be a witness, but you fumble over it all.
615. 48:06And again, I believe you wouldn't prepare it for the question.
616. 48:10But why would you think a Dana Bash or CNN would bring up a former staffer simply saying,
617. 48:15oh, by the way, this staffer really appreciated you treating them with kindness.
618. 48:19Do you think that Dana Bass is interested primarily in Mike Pence responding to him treating someone
619. 48:24with kindness, or do you think Dana might have another magenta?

624. 48:35I mean, you can see that coming from all away.
625. 48:38Dana Bass's purpose in raising this former staffer is not about giving you kudos.
626. 48:44Mr. Pence, about your kindness.
627. 48:49All you have to say, you mentioned you hadn't read the article, you can say I hadn't read
628. 48:53the article, but I have the practice, first of all because I'm a Christian, second of all
629. 48:57because I'm American, thirdly because I believe I should treat people the way I want to be
630. 49:01treated and treating everyone with kindness.
631. 49:04So I'm grateful that they felt that and that is something I endeavor to do every day end
632. 49:09of sentence without bobbing and weaving and up, up, up, up, up, up, up, up, up, up, up, up,
633. 49:20because you know why he's stumbling because he knows he's a man.
634. 49:24But Dana Basque keeps referring to the man as a woman.
635. 49:26And so he don't want to come off sounding mean, but at the exact same time he knows it's a
636. 49:29man.
637. 49:30So he stumbles and stumbles and stumbles and stumbles.
638. 49:33It doesn't take all of that.
639. 49:35When we say, when I say, I'll speak for myself, when I say that there's no amount of medication
640. 49:40or surgery that would change a man into a woman or woman to a man.
641. 49:43I don't say that to be insulting or denigrating.
642. 49:45I say it because it's true.
643. 49:47Now, I'm not going to go out of my way to offend anyone, but you should clearly know,
644. 49:52depends that Dana Bash's question has nothing to do with lauding you for kindness.
645. 49:58You should know, perhaps, there's another reason why she's bringing this up.
646. 50:04Oh, I see what she's saying.
647. 50:06Dana, I treat everybody with kindness.
648. 50:08I endeavor to do so because of my Christian convictions, because of I love my fellow countrymen,
649. 50:15and I am grateful to know that this experience is affirmed.
650. 50:21I know sometimes I might miss the mark, but this is what I endeavor to do with everybody.
651. 50:29End of sentence instead of stumbling over your own tire trying to get out of the way of
