  9. 0:26Let's not miss our moment.
  10. 0:28and now, the Hamilton Corner.
  11. 0:33What happened in the culture in which we live,
  12. 0:36our nation we've just witnessed in recent weeks,
  13. 0:39the election of a Muslim Marxist mayor for New York City.
  14. 0:43There are still protests and violence at things
  15. 0:47like campus events where just students gather
  16. 0:50to talk about issues of the day,
  17. 0:52and the world seems to be teetering on the brink
  18. 0:56of just unraveling at any given time.
  19. 0:59We're going to talk about this.
  20. 1:00We've got a very special guest, but I want to welcome you to the Hamilton corner,
  21. 1:05Alex McFarland here.
  22. 1:06So honored to be on for Abe Hamilton today on the American Family Radio Network.
  23. 1:11Later on, we will take calls.
  24. 1:13I'm going to give that number for when we open up the phones.
  25. 1:16We would love to hear from you, but it is triple eight, five, eight, nine, 88, 40.
  26. 1:21Now with me is a friend from the, the West coast,
  27. 1:26Caleb Collier of the Church and State Broadcast.
  28. 1:29Caleb, thanks for holding in.
  29. 1:31Welcome to the program.
  30. 1:33Thank you, sir.
  31. 1:34It's great to see you again, and I'm excited to be a part of the show, and it gets some
  32. 1:38phone calls.
  33. 1:39Well, indeed.
  34. 1:40You know, we had you come and speak for us.
  35. 1:44October 3 and 4, we were wrapping up our summer biblical worldview series called Conversations
  36. 1:51that Matter.
  37. 1:53We had a number of great speakers like Jenna Ellis, who was on the American Family Radio
  38. 1:58Network, and we had Dinesh D'Souza.
  39. 2:01And you and I were talking because we also had Charlie Kirk, and we'll talk about that.
  40. 2:08But since then, oh my goodness, you know, it's been an unbelievable year.
  41. 2:13There was this government shutdown where the Chuck Schumer and the Democrats have tried
  42. 2:19do obstruct anything and everything that President Donald Trump has tried to do.
  43. 2:25I fully believe, my goodness, if he was going to end cancer, feed the world, and usher in
  44. 2:33utopia, I think the left would fight that no matter what.
  45. 2:38Of course, the death of Charlie Kirk, ongoing protests, violence, and just lawlessness at
  46. 2:46many not just turning point USA events but other conservative campus events.
  47. 2:53So Caleb, for one thing, tell us about church and state, but just where you sense socially,
  48. 3:02politically, spiritually where you sense the Western world is at and where we're going.
  49. 3:10I welcome your insights.
  50. 3:12Yeah, thank you.
  51. 3:13So first and foremost, church and state, we've been around since 2017.
  52. 3:19Former politician, former EMT, it was in the Marine Corps as well, and I've worked for a
  53. 3:24number of different political organizations.
  54. 3:27So it's a great spot for you to get your daily dose of theology and politics, and I'm not afraid
  55. 3:33to really cover anything.
  56. 3:35You want to talk about the Neffalom?
  57. 3:36I'll talk about the Neffalom on the show too.
  58. 3:38So welcome to people to check that out.
  59. 3:40Yeah.
  60. 3:41Exactly.
  61. 3:42interesting subject matter. Unfortunately, a lot of the church shys away from. But yeah,
  62. 3:49that's websites, church and state.media, would love for the audience to go there and to check
  63. 3:53out some of the shows. To answer your question now, it's a big one, right? There's so many things
  64. 3:59going on with the world and nobody can say that they're bored right now. I mean, every single day,
  65. 4:04it seems like we're getting hit with just amazing news. I mean, there's wars as well. I mean, we might
  66. 4:11be going into war with Venezuela, with Nigeria, Ukraine, Israel is always in the mix as well.
  67. 4:18And there's really this
  68. 4:20Balkanization that has occurred within the United States. There's this very intentional
  69. 4:25divide that has been engineered by the power elite to get Americans to start separating and
  70. 4:32looking at people as the enemy, whether that be through race, class, wealth, jobs, locations,
  71. 4:39It doesn't matter.
  72. 4:41There is an intentional divide that we really need to address culturally and come together
  73. 4:46on the things that we can work together on.
  74. 4:50As you just said, if the Republicans were working on a cure for cancer, the Democrats
  75. 4:55would oppose it just because it's coming from the Republicans.
  76. 4:57And the same principle would apply in the other direction.
  77. 5:00We need to move away from that and really start working towards an American first policy.
  78. 5:05And that really doesn't matter where you stand on specific issues.
  79. 5:09Are you an American?
  80. 5:10Can we come together?
  81. 5:11Well, do you know what Christianity today, which in recent years that magazine has taken
  82. 5:18a leftward turn, but about 10 years ago, which wasn't that long ago, and Christianity today
  83. 5:26was a little more conservative, but they were talking and there was this line that's kind
  84. 5:30of haunted me.
  85. 5:32said of the major denominations, you know, there's Baptist Methodist Presbyterian Assembly of God,
  86. 5:39Lutheran, a lot of denominations, and God has a remnant in all of these. But it was talking about
  87. 5:47in Christianity today how, you know, splintered the body of Christ is. And, you know, there's the
  88. 5:56great commission and tell the world about Jesus. The more left-leaning liberal, liberal upon
  89. 6:04liberal denominations stopped evangelizing. And then they didn't say Jesus was the one
  90. 6:10and only Savior anymore. And then they begin to be open to non-Christian belief systems being
  91. 6:18equally true. And here's what Christianity today said, gone is the ability to think
  92. 6:26Christianly in common, even within one denomination. Isn't that something? Now, there was a time
  93. 6:35as Americans when so many, many, many things united us, it was insignificant the tiny things
  94. 6:42that might have divided us. And in American Christianity, I mean, so many, many, many things
  95. 6:50united us. It was almost insignificant. The few things that divided us. It's almost like
  96. 6:56nowadays we're the inverse of that. Politically and spiritually, it's like 99 things divide
  97. 7:03us and we can't unite around anything anymore. And we're a very fragmented culture. And I
  98. 7:12And I think that puts the church and state, and you're the man to talk about for church
  99. 7:18and state, both hang in the balance at this moment.
  100. 7:23Would you agree?
  101. 7:24I completely agree with your assessment there, Alex, and the church in America is really
  102. 7:29in a predicament.
  103. 7:31And we need to look towards something that Ronald Reagan said when it applies to the church,
  104. 7:36and that's that big tent policy.
  105. 7:39We need to, as Christians, recognize that the vast majority of the denominations, we agree
  106. 7:45on a lot of things.
  107. 7:46And we agree on the essential things.
  108. 7:48Jesus Christ is Lord.
  109. 7:50He came and He died for our sins.
  110. 7:51No one comes to the Father but through Him.
  111. 7:53Those are all essential things.
  112. 7:55And most of us agree on that, whether you're a Presbyterian, a Lutheran, such as myself,
  113. 8:00you grew up Baptist.
  114. 8:01I mean, we all agree on those things.
  115. 8:03Now, there's a big tent.
  116. 8:06There is a wall there.
  117. 8:07border to every tent. And so some groups don't get to be a part of that tent. You know, when
  118. 8:12you're looking at Jehovah Witnesses or Christian science or something like that, you're not in the
  119. 8:16tent. Sorry, guys. You don't get a place at the table. But generally speaking, when it's Christians,
  120. 8:24we need to apply that big tent. Those other things that are secondary issues, we can have
  121. 8:29fun debates about them. We can engage in conversations, you know, whether it be Calvinism or Amenianism,
  122. 8:34pre-trib, post-trib, mid-trib, preterism. We can have a great discussion about that, but
  123. 8:40we need to stop dividing all the time over this.
  124. 8:43You know, I'm so glad you would say that. By the way, if you're just tuning in, Alex McFarland
  125. 8:47here is sitting in for Abe Hamilton III, longtime friend and colleague, Caleb Collier of the
  126. 8:53Church and State broadcast is with us. Caleb, last, excuse me, last Thursday night I had the
  127. 9:00privilege of being in Richmond, Virginia and spoke for a pro-life fundraising event.
  128. 9:07It was a blessing.
  129. 9:08Oh my goodness, there were probably 600, 650 people.
  130. 9:13And it was my extreme privilege to speak on what is a human being and speak on the pro-life
  131. 9:20issue.
  132. 9:21And there were Catholics and Protestants and just all sorts of people of many backgrounds.
  133. 9:30I was thinking about that and by the way I had a lot of people come up to me and just
  134. 9:34express their appreciation for the American Family Radio Network and said some very, very
  135. 9:40kind things which we give God the glory.
  136. 9:44But I think about this about the big tent that you mentioned.
  137. 9:49First John 5-1 in God's Word, first John 5-1 says, whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ
  138. 9:59is born of God. Now that's pretty broad, isn't it? Now, you know, I'm a Baptist preacher.
  139. 10:06I have an opinion on everything. But, you know, if you believe no matter what your church background,
  140. 10:16Protestant, Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, look, you believe Jesus is the Son of God,
  141. 10:22and He died on the cross and rose again in payment for our sins. I believe that. We're family.
  142. 10:29Now, I realize there are distinctives, but I really think it would turn the world upside
  143. 10:38down in a day if the body of Christ could unify and pray together.
  144. 10:46I've got a further thought on that, but what do you think about that?
  145. 10:50Caleb, would that be possible?
  146. 10:52Would that be right for Christians of every flavor and strata to come together to pray?
  147. 10:59I mean, it's a very nice thought.
  148. 11:02And you know, neither one of us are going to be the kumbaya type of
  149. 11:06not your hosts. Unfortunately, you know, it's human nature.
  150. 11:11And human nature, we are fleshy, we are sinful,
  151. 11:15and we tend to divide over things.
  152. 11:18I would love to see a situation where we can all unite.
  153. 11:23And certainly there's situations that arise.
  154. 11:26For example, 9-11 where a lot of Christians, regardless of denomination, did unite and
  155. 11:31come together in prayer.
  156. 11:32And we did see some healing for the nation.
  157. 11:35But generally speaking, we tend to really stick to it.
  158. 11:38We tend to really hold on to things where it's, you know, I love my Presbyterian and Reformed
  159. 11:45brothers and sisters in Christ, but sometimes Calvinism can be a sticking point and they
  160. 11:49will not work with somebody who believes in free will.
  161. 11:52I really believe that's rather unfortunate because you're kind of missing the greater
  162. 11:56scope in what we could accomplish as Christians.
  163. 11:59Yeah, exactly.
  164. 12:01And I know another dividing point or beliefs about the gifts of the Spirit.
  165. 12:06You know, but let me just say regardless of what your new metology is, we all believe in
  166. 12:13the work of the Holy Spirit.
  167. 12:14I mean, it's the Holy Spirit of God that convicts us of sin, makes us aware that we're sinners,
  168. 12:20draws us to Jesus is the Holy Spirit of God that regenerates when we put our faith in Jesus.
  169. 12:27The dead spirit is made alive. And so I do believe I won't belabor the point, but I think
  170. 12:33there's more that unites us or should unite as the divides us. You know, Caleb, we've done
  171. 12:38a number of citywide crusades over the years. And I will tell you when Christians get together
  172. 12:45and pray God shows up. He really does. I've seen this in cities around the country. I've
  173. 12:54also seen where nothing happened, but many, many a time when we've spent a year getting,
  174. 13:03you know, four or five dozen churches together of all strata and we sort of humbly come together
  175. 13:10and we say, Jesus be glorified in this place.
  176. 13:14God will show up.
  177. 13:15Folks, if you're just tuning in,
  178. 13:16by the way, we have an event preparation manual
  179. 13:20for our citywide events,
  180. 13:21and I will send that to you,
  181. 13:23whether or not you're bringing me in to speak or Caleb.
  182. 13:26I'm just saying, in 27 years,
  183. 13:29we've learned a thing or two about organizing people,
  184. 13:32prayer committees, and really an outreach
  185. 13:36and discipleship committees.
  186. 13:38No matter who you are,
  187. 13:38I care about awakening in America.
  188. 13:40I care about a revival.
  189. 13:42If our event preparation manual would give you some ideas
  190. 13:48about an outreach in your city or region,
  191. 13:51just email me, Alex at AlexMcFarlane.com.
  192. 13:55We'll put one in the mail to you, no strings attached.
  193. 13:58We just wanna see a great revival.
  194. 14:00Now, I know we're coming up on a break, Caleb.
  195. 14:04But give your, when we come back,
  196. 14:06we're going to talk more about the issues of the day,
  197. 14:09politically, spiritually, plus, we're going to take phone calls
  198. 14:12if you have a question for Caleb or myself.
  199. 14:15But before this first break, Caleb, what is your website?
  200. 14:19Yeah, thank you again, Alex.
  201. 14:21ChurchnState.media, and for anyone that's going there,
  202. 14:24please fill out the submission form.
  203. 14:26Not only will you get our newsletter,
  204. 14:27but you also get a personal phone call from me.
  205. 14:30So you like what you're hearing,
  206. 14:31you want to get a personal phone call
  207. 14:33right there at churchnState.media.
  208. 14:35Well, that, hey, having talked with Caleb Collier dozens of times, he's a pretty smart guy.
  209. 14:41So, you know, I might do that just to get a phone call from Caleb myself.
  210. 14:46But this is the Hamilton Corner on the American Family Radio Network.
  211. 14:50We're talking about truth. Our nation needs it. Stay tuned. We'll be back after this.
  212. 14:56A discipleship minute with Joseph Parker.
  213. 15:03We live in a crazy, dangerous world
  214. 15:06that includes spiritual warfare raging everywhere you go.
  215. 15:10We who are followers of Christ need to be warrior minded
  216. 15:13in our approach to how we follow and live for Christ
  217. 15:16in this dangerous world.
  218. 15:17Not being alert, making unwise decisions,
  219. 15:20moving without a sense of urgency,
  220. 15:22any and all of these actions in wartime
  221. 15:25can literally cause someone to get killed.
  222. 15:28Psalm 91 is a unique weapon in scripture
  223. 15:31that addresses many of the perils in life.
  224. 15:34Are you making it a priority to pray
  225. 15:36Psalm 91 every single day?
  226. 15:39If not, why not?
  227. 15:41Well, I'm not a fanatic
  228. 15:42and I don't see a need to pray this particular scripture
  229. 15:45every single day.
  230. 15:47Well, if that is you,
  231. 15:48I believe you'd be wise to change your mind
  232. 15:51and to begin to pray this prayer every day.
  233. 15:54No one or nothing can protect you like God can.
  234. 16:05Shiting light into the darkness.
  235. 16:07This is the Hamilton Corner, an American family radio.
  236. 16:12Welcome back to the program, Alex McFarland here.
  237. 16:15I am co-author of the brand new book,
  238. 16:18100 Bible Questions and Answers on Prophecy
  239. 16:22and the End Times, co-authored with my co-host,
  240. 16:26Bert Harper of Exploring the Word.
  241. 16:29Bert and I have the privilege of being on
  242. 16:31every day, Monday through Friday live,
  243. 16:34three to four central, four to five Eastern.
  244. 16:36and in the time zone of your choice.
  245. 16:38And I give God the glory,
  246. 16:41Bert and I calculated that in 15 plus years,
  247. 16:44we've done 3000 radio shows.
  248. 16:47But our book came out and it's doing very well.
  249. 16:50There's fresh research on things like AI,
  250. 16:53will AI play a role in Bible prophecy?
  251. 16:56Will Israel be attacked in the future by Russia or China or both?
  252. 17:01So if you're interested in the subject is eschatology, biblical prophecy in the
  253. 17:08End Times, check out our book please it's available everywhere. The other thing I
  254. 17:13would say before we resume our conversation with Caleb Collier, the Cove,
  255. 17:17the Billy Graham Training Center in Western North Carolina. I'll be there twice
  256. 17:21next summer, one to do a three-day seminar on Bible prophecy, the other I'll be
  257. 17:27there with Gary Habermas, just one of the living legends of apologetics. He is quite
  258. 17:35literally the world expert on the resurrection of Christ and ancient evidence, Jewish, Greek,
  259. 17:42and Roman sources that reference Jesus. So the website is the Cove.org, T-H-E-C-O-V-E,
  260. 17:49the Cove.org. And I know right now on the eve of Thanksgiving and such, you're probably
  261. 17:56not thinking about the summer of 2026, but it'll be here before you know it and we would
  262. 18:01love to see you at the Cove, the Billy Graham Training Center when we're there next summer.
  263. 18:08But right now we're talking with our friend Caleb Collier. If you do have some political
  264. 18:12or spiritual questions, we'll get to that in the third segment, triple eight, five, eight,
  265. 18:18nine, eighty eight, forty. But Caleb, let me ask you this. Since you and I were together
  266. 18:26in early October doing a seminar and by the way, thank you for coming and contributing
  267. 18:32as you have.
  268. 18:35As I said, it was the big government shutdown which really, you know, people begin to feel
  269. 18:41that.
  270. 18:42I know on the road speaking I was talking with people that, you know, veterans and different
  271. 18:50ones that government interaction just wasn't happening.
  272. 18:55But what I want to ask you is, during the election,
  273. 19:00I'm told city council, school boards, mayoral races,
  274. 19:0642 Muslims, one seats in various positions across America.
  275. 19:14What spiritually, constitutionally,
  276. 19:19take whatever vantage point you choose.
  277. 19:22Caleb, what do you think about that?
  278. 19:25Yeah, this is extremely dangerous for a republic.
  279. 19:28And one of the political jobs that actually worked
  280. 19:32for a few years was with an organization called
  281. 19:34Understanding the Threat, led by John Guandolo,
  282. 19:38who's one of the greatest experts in America
  283. 19:40on the Islamic threat.
  284. 19:42People don't understand the dangers of Islam very well.
  285. 19:46We're kind of insulated here in the United States,
  286. 19:48even though we have had some attacks,
  287. 19:51obviously not 11 being the biggest.
  288. 19:53Muslims practice something where they can,
  289. 19:56if they are in the minority, if they don't have the power,
  290. 19:59they're actually encouraged to lie to the infidels,
  291. 20:04to get whatever they need.
  292. 20:06And so when you come across somebody like Mamdami
  293. 20:10in New York, for example, just know that he's lying to you.
  294. 20:14I mean, not only is he a communist,
  295. 20:16and they lie about everything,
  296. 20:17especially about how their economics work,
  297. 20:20but he's also a jihad,
  298. 20:23and he's lying to you about being peaceful.
  299. 20:25And New York is going to be a really fascinating study
  300. 20:29on this, probably the biggest study
  301. 20:32with all of these different elections
  302. 20:34that occurred with these Muslims.
  303. 20:35But we're gonna very, very quickly see
  304. 20:38I believe will be a mass exodus out of New York.
  305. 20:41As people wake up to the ideas that this democratic socialism is, they want to call it, it's
  306. 20:48not going to work.
  307. 20:49The government's going to take over all the boat digas and you're going to have breadlines
  308. 20:52and breadlines are fun.
  309. 20:53I mean, I don't know if you've ever been in a bread line, Alex, but I mean, you get to
  310. 20:56meet some really interesting people.
  311. 20:58I mean, you're standing around for hours and hours, so you're going to talk and you know,
  312. 21:01it's just time to make some friends.
  313. 21:04Absolutely.
  314. 21:05I'm not sure if I'm going to make friends, but they are.
  315. 21:07They're going to move.
  316. 21:08They're going to leave.
  317. 21:09I hope that they don't do what a lot of Californians did to, like, say, Austin, Texas, where they
  318. 21:15keep their liberalism with it and kind of ruin certain areas of the state.
  319. 21:20I hope that New Yorkers wake up, realize that those of us who believe in the Constitution,
  320. 21:26that we're on the right side of things, and they're going to escape that, maybe go to some
  321. 21:30place nice like Florida, but don't ruin it with their dirty politics.
  322. 21:34I'm older than you. You probably don't remember in the late 70s government
  323. 21:40cheese, do you? Well, I know about government cheese. I mean, I was in the Marine Corps, so we
  324. 21:48pretty poorly. Well, you know, when I was a kid and some people listening, some people of a certain
  325. 21:54age are going to remember there was a time in the late 70s. I don't know where it was, but the
  326. 22:00The government had a lot of cheese, like cheddar cheese.
  327. 22:05And I waited with my mother in the cheese lines.
  328. 22:10We were a poor farming family in North Carolina.
  329. 22:14We didn't know it growing up, but we were poor.
  330. 22:16And you mentioned bread lines.
  331. 22:18I know facetiously saying, oh, it'll be fun.
  332. 22:20You'll have hours and hours.
  333. 22:22Listen, it is not fun.
  334. 22:24I remember as a little kid waiting in line because we were very destitute.
  335. 22:30Institute financially. And I remember waiting in line one time for like four and a half
  336. 22:35hours to get a bag of cheese. And I remember thinking, and I was, I don't know, 12 years
  337. 22:43old maybe, but I was thinking, okay, I'll just go hungry. You know, we waited and waited and
  338. 22:50that we were, you know, amidst a lot of people that, you know, we didn't really want to be
  339. 22:57around. And folks, let me just say this. In my book, I wrote a book four years ago
  340. 23:03called The Assault in America, How to Defend Our Nation Before It's Too Late.
  341. 23:07Caleb, do you realize this? And folks, listen up, this might be among the most
  342. 23:12important things that you get out of this hour. By 1900, by, so we're talking
  343. 23:21125 years ago. By 1900, socialism had been tried in 80 U.S. cities and abandoned. I document
  344. 23:33this in my book, The Assault on America. And by the way, Will Graham wrote the forward,
  345. 23:39it's published by Harrison House. It was when it came out in, I believe it was 2021. It was
  346. 23:48bestseller on Amazon.com. Okay, communism in places like Zion, Illinois, a new harmony Indiana,
  347. 23:59near Fayetteville, North Carolina. Communism had been tried and quickly abandoned 80 times in 80
  348. 24:09localities. And even in a few places, there were altercations and homicides. And here's my point.
  349. 24:17If you flip a coin 80 times and it gets heads, why do you think on the 81st time you're not
  350. 24:25going to get that?
  351. 24:26I mean, socialism never, ever, anywhere.
  352. 24:31New York City, why do you think it's going to work for you?
  353. 24:35What do you say, Caleb?
  354. 24:36Yeah, I agree with you.
  355. 24:38Why is it that every single communist nation that has ever existed always builds a wall,
  356. 24:43has guards and typically you'll see them shoot people who try to escape.
  357. 24:48Why are people constantly trying to flee North Korea, China, the Soviet Union when it existed?
  358. 24:54Where people coming over and droves from Cuba?
  359. 24:57It's because communism is a failed system and every single person who's unfortunate enough
  360. 25:02to be born in the political-
  361. 25:04I'm barely a communist nation.
  362. 25:06Yeah, I mean it was kind of a Freudian slip there, but born into it, they try to flee it
  363. 25:11because it's just so oppressive.
  364. 25:14Socialism is just, it's the first step into communism.
  365. 25:19They love to point to Norway as an example
  366. 25:23of where socialism works.
  367. 25:24They love that country in particular,
  368. 25:27but they fail to recognize that the only reason
  369. 25:30why socialism has had what you might call
  370. 25:34some degree of success is because it's completely
  371. 25:37monetized by big oil, which I thought most of these democratic socialists were all opposed
  372. 25:44to big oil.
  373. 25:45I thought they were all, we got to protect the planet and all this.
  374. 25:48That's why the socialism that you guys think works in Norway is working, is because of big
  375. 25:53oil.
  376. 25:54It's being subsidized.
  377. 25:56You were talking about Mamdani lying.
  378. 26:02There's an Islamic doctrine, taqaya, spell taqiyay, taqaya, meaning that a Muslim can lie if it's
  379. 26:14in the cause of Allah, if it's in the benefit of Allah.
  380. 26:18And so it's cultural jihad, isn't it?
  381. 26:21When they say, you know, I am Muslim, but I will, you know, govern according to American
  382. 26:29principles.
  383. 26:31I had a conversation with one of the vice presidents of care, the American, Council on
  384. 26:36American Islamic Relations.
  385. 26:38There's also in the news the huge Islamic center that's being built outside of Houston.
  386. 26:47Caleb, I think very naive left leaning Westerners.
  387. 26:52They don't realize the threat that the further spread of Islam represents.
  388. 26:57No, they absolutely have no idea about this.
  389. 27:02They don't do the research and you have to do your homework.
  390. 27:06Regardless of whether you're left or you're right, you have to do your research, you have
  391. 27:09to actually study in order to formulate your core beliefs.
  392. 27:13The left is terrible in particular about doing this.
  393. 27:16They don't study the Koran.
  394. 27:18They don't know, I love when I see women for Palestine or something like that.
  395. 27:25You were going to forgive me for interrupting.
  396. 27:27In New York City, there were the LGBTQ trans for Mom Donnie.
  397. 27:33Yeah, I'd be like, you do realize in a culture of Sharia
  398. 27:38among the first to be beheaded
  399. 27:40would be the LGBTQ trans people.
  400. 27:44Yeah, the Korean is kind of confusing on this.
  401. 27:46At one point it tells them to throw them off of a high place
  402. 27:50and another one it tells them to stone them.
  403. 27:51And this is so often why you'll see them literally
  404. 27:54take somebody up to a tall building, a homosexual up to a tall building, throw them off of it,
  405. 27:59and then the crowd below will come up and throw rocks at him afterwards because the Quran
  406. 28:02commands to do both.
  407. 28:04These LGBTQ pro-Islam people, you're nuts.
  408. 28:11Is that what you want?
  409. 28:12And even when you examine places like Dearborn, which has been completely overrun and completely
  410. 28:17captured by Islam here in the United States, when you talk to these individuals, if they
  411. 28:24They want the Constitution or if they want Sharia law, the answer is always Sharia law.
  412. 28:30We can't operate in that system.
  413. 28:31You cannot have a constitutional republic and Sharia law.
  414. 28:35They don't mix.
  415. 28:36It's like oil and water.
  416. 28:38The beautiful thing about our republic and being a Christian in it is that our family
  417. 28:42fathers got all of their moral ideas from the Bible and that's why it works so well together.
  418. 28:48But with Islam, it's a match made in hell.
  419. 28:52Oh my word.
  420. 28:54Yes, and by the way, you know what's interesting is, it was a story in the news this morning
  421. 29:00about yet another locality where people are upset about the minarets blaring five times a day about
  422. 29:09the Islamic call to prayer. And by the way, if you've ever heard that, it's a very unsettling sound.
  423. 29:15And it kind of sounds like a wounded animal screaming in its death throes.
  424. 29:26Look, anybody can believe what they want to believe.
  425. 29:29On a personal level, if someone rejects Christianity and believes another ideology, I'm sorry for
  426. 29:37them, I'm concerned for them.
  427. 29:39I know people need Christ to be saved.
  428. 29:42Personally, if someone wants to be a Muslim, that's their prerogative.
  429. 29:47But culturally, I mean, Caleb, aren't our elected officials charged with protecting the
  430. 29:55US Constitution from threats within and without?
  431. 29:59Yeah, I've taken that oath actually three times in my life once as a Marine.
  432. 30:05And then also when I worked for the post office, oddly enough.
  433. 30:08And then as a city councilman, so I'm a former politician as well.
  434. 30:12Thank you. It says, you know, specifically that you are to take this oath to defend the Constitution
  435. 30:19against all enemies, foreign and domestic. And you raise your right hand and you have
  436. 30:23your other hand on a Bible. That means something, especially, you know, to those of us who served
  437. 30:28in the military. It really, truly means something to us. And so we are, we are to expect those
  438. 30:34who represent us. Remember, the people, the government of America is we the people, these
  439. 30:41politicians are just chosen representatives of us and we should expect them to have at least a basic
  440. 30:48knowledge of the Constitution to understand it, to defend it, to honor it. And I think we need a
  441. 30:54little bit more of a litmus test with these politicians. I think that would be a great benefit for all of us.
  442. 31:01What do you think about Jordan's bill that to serve in Congress you have to be a natural-born
  443. 31:07citizen? Yeah, I don't have a problem with that. You know, this is something that our
  444. 31:13founding fathers obviously didn't do because the vast majority of them, you know, were English.
  445. 31:19But I really wouldn't have a problem with that. We come to a point where a lot of the
  446. 31:24countries that people are fleeing from and coming to the United States, they weren't
  447. 31:29raised with the same ethics or morals that we were in this country. They don't understand
  448. 31:34freedom, they don't understand liberty. And so having really actual Americans serving in
  449. 31:41our government I think could be a step in the right direction for us.
  450. 31:45Yeah. You know, Donald Trump took a lot of heat when he was campaigning the first time
  451. 31:51and he reiterated this the second time though that you know so many of the people trying to
  452. 31:57migrate here. First of all, many that have come here illegally, but they don't have the
  453. 32:03moral code that we have. And we have to have a rule of law consistent equal protection before
  454. 32:13the law, but equal accountability before the law as well. We've got a break, folks. When
  455. 32:20we come back, I would love to hear from you. You've got a question, politics, culture,
  456. 32:24spirituality. Hey, climate change is taking a big hit, or at least climate change ideology.
  457. 32:33You can talk about that.
  458. 32:34The number is Triple 8, 5, 8, 9, 88, 40, Triple 8, 5, 8, 9, 88, 40.
  459. 32:41Alex McFarlane here with our very special guest, Caleb Collier of the Church in State

  462. 32:47We're going to come back right after this.

  465. 33:13Hollywood, Playboy, the homosexual agenda, and the Disney Empire.

  470. 33:33It took three weeks to write, but Handel's Messiah, 250 years later is still inspiring
  471. 33:38audiences.
  472. 33:39And at Christmas time, it's words which come from Scripture, point listeners to Jesus.
  473. 33:44I'm David Wolin with Haven Today, inviting you to join me and authors, David Selleggabit,
  474. 33:50for a series called From Handel to Hallelujah.
  475. 34:09and most well-known city just elected a Muslim to be its mayor.
  476. 34:14New York City Mayor-elect Zorran Mamdani is a self-identifying member of the Democratic
  477. 34:19Socialists of America.
  478. 34:21Mamdani is the personification of the Red-Green Alliance, the intersectional partnership of
  479. 34:27communists in Islamists with the goal of toppling America and Christianity.
  480. 34:32While individual Muslims are the mission field for Christians, Islam is a false religion
  481. 34:37of Satan that deceives billions.
  482. 34:39Jesus Christ is the way and the truth in the life.
  483. 34:43No one comes to the Father except through Him.
  484. 34:46Here are most recent program on this topic
  485. 34:48at theChristianworldview.org
  486. 34:50and then tune in this weekend for another topic
  487. 34:52that will sharpen your worldview.
  488. 34:54Listen to the Christian worldview with David Wheaton,
  489. 34:57Saturday mornings at 8 Central on American Family Radio.
  490. 35:06The Hamilton Quarter Podcast and One-Bitted Commentaries
  491. 35:09are available at aFR.net.
  492. 35:11Back to the Hamilton Corner on American Family Radio.
  493. 35:17Saving the world one broadcast at a time.
  494. 35:21This is the American Family Radio Network.
  495. 35:23Alex McFarland's here along with Caleb Collier.
  496. 35:26You know, all kidding aside.
  497. 35:28The answer is Jesus Christ.
  498. 35:31Personally, people need the Lord, they do.
  499. 35:34But as a society, our nation, we must retain and restore
  500. 35:39store the values that moved our founders to draft the longest-standing constitution in
  501. 35:47world history.
  502. 35:48You know, there's a reason that America was called the shining light on a hill.
  503. 35:56There's a reason that we have been known by a term.
  504. 36:01The left doesn't like this term, American exceptionalism.
  505. 36:06I write about this extensively in my book,
  506. 36:08Ten Issues That Divide Christians, that we were different.
  507. 36:12It doesn't mean we were necessarily more deserving
  508. 36:16of God's favor because with all of our blessings
  509. 36:20comes accountability.
  510. 36:21If anything, I would say we've been more deserving
  511. 36:24of God's judgment.
  512. 36:28However, we have been exceptional.
  513. 36:31Freedom, prosperity, stability, ingenuity,
  514. 36:35Innovation. Caleb, I love to teach students about things that America has given the world.
  515. 36:43You know, things like penicillin and telephones and airplanes and television and even chocolate
  516. 36:52chip cookies, indoor air conditioning. I mean, seriously, and I love the fact that it was
  517. 37:03our biblical worldview that gave the world the idea of human rights and equal protection
  518. 37:12and consent of the governed.
  519. 37:16All of these are biblical principles, aren't they?
  520. 37:20A 100% are.
  521. 37:21I mean, I can't remember who studied this, but ultimately when you look at the founding
  522. 37:27fathers, sure, they read a lot of the enlightenment.
  523. 37:33They had monoskew and Smith and individuals like that,
  524. 37:38but the number one book that they got was Deuteronomy,
  525. 37:42like 23% of the time it was Deuteronomy
  526. 37:45that they were going to as they were establishing
  527. 37:47this great republic.
  528. 37:49The republican form of government gets its roots
  529. 37:51in the Bible as well, this is from Exodus 18,
  530. 37:54where you can clearly see that a republic is formed
  531. 37:57with Moses and the founding fathers took notice of that.
  532. 38:02They explored all of the different ones.
  533. 38:04They'd come from a monarchy.
  534. 38:05They looked at democracy.
  535. 38:06By the way, they despised democracy.
  536. 38:08And every single time one of these talking heads comes up
  537. 38:10and talks about our democracy, you should be throwing things
  538. 38:13at your television, because we're not.
  539. 38:14And we never intended to be.
  540. 38:15We're not a democracy.
  541. 38:16Folks, we're a constitutional representative republic.
  542. 38:20Hold that thought.
  543. 38:21We're going to go to some calls.
  544. 38:22We're going to begin in Mississippi.
  545. 38:25Hey, Wood, hey, Wood in Mississippi.
  546. 38:28Thank you for holding Welcome to the program.
  547. 38:31And thank you, a long time listener, and agree with 99.9%
  548. 38:36everything you say.
  549. 38:37Well, I want to give you a guy, bless.
  550. 38:39Thank for educating the American people on to Kia.
  551. 38:43Every time I'm a Muslim, sign a document, he's lying.
  552. 38:49And I also want to thank you for bringing up
  553. 38:51the constitutional republic.
  554. 38:53We are not a democracy.
  555. 38:56And I would like to ask you what your thoughts are
  556. 39:00on the meeting today with the solid prints
  557. 39:02and the UN, consequently at the same time,
  558. 39:06making a move and the Saudis want F-35s or top ones,
  559. 39:11but they still pushing for a two-state solution.
  560. 39:16I'll take you answer off there.
  561. 39:17Thank you and God bless you.
  562. 39:19God bless you, Hey Wood, and thank you for those kind words.
  563. 39:22Yeah, I gotta say it made me a little concerned this morning.
  564. 39:27this morning. And by the way, Caleb, I'll throw it to you here in a minute. But reading about the
  565. 39:34Saudis and the UN, holding other subject for another day, we have to do a whole show on this,
  566. 39:41folks, World Heritage Sites. That is code speak for the UN confiscating land. But Caleb,
  567. 39:52Whenever the UN is doing anything, that raises my concern.
  568. 40:00But, and then I wanna talk about the two-state solution
  569. 40:03in a moment, but first, what about the UN
  570. 40:05and the Saudi prince coming to the White House today, Caleb?
  571. 40:09What do you know about that?
  572. 40:11Yeah, I am absolutely despised the United Nations.
  573. 40:16There's a lot of organizations,
  574. 40:18international organizations that you can hate,
  575. 40:20World Economic Forum accounts on foreign relations.
  576. 40:23But the United Nations has been around for a long time.
  577. 40:26And every single time they've ever been involved
  578. 40:28in anything, anytime they send in,
  579. 40:30the United Nations peacekeeping force.
  580. 40:33What do we see?
  581. 40:34That country gets murdered, raped, pillaged,
  582. 40:38is just absolutely atrocious.
  583. 40:40So I really wish that Donald Trump
  584. 40:42would not lend an ear to them, open the door to them.
  585. 40:46I'd like to see the United Nations kicked out
  586. 40:48of the United States.
  587. 40:49I'd like to see you stop funding them.
  588. 40:51And Saudi Arabia, I understand that they are a powerhouse
  589. 40:55in the Middle East, I do.
  590. 40:57But once again, as the caller just pointed out, they lie.
  591. 41:01They naturally lie to us.
  592. 41:04They think that we are stupid.
  593. 41:06They think that we are infidels.
  594. 41:07And I don't think this is a good move on our part
  595. 41:11as a country to secure American interests.
  596. 41:14In regards to the two state solution, Alex,
  597. 41:18It's a pipe dream. It's never going to occur.
  598. 41:22I mean, you can call for all that you want.
  599. 41:25We know, because we read the Bible, that the only time that we're going to see peace there
  600. 41:30is when the Antichrist emerges and declares peace, and what follows is the abomination of desolation.
  601. 41:36That's not a good thing for us. So if we do see peace in the Middle East, well,
  602. 41:40I guess as Christians we can be excited because the Lord is coming soon.
  603. 41:44Yeah, and let me say this, here's a great analogy. Let's say you have a house and it's
  604. 41:52been your family's house for oh, 4,500 years. And some, you're out of town for a month.
  605. 42:03And while you're gone, some people break in and take a residence. So you come back to
  606. 42:08your house and they attack you, they kill some of your family members and somebody comes
  607. 42:15and says, look, here's what we're going to do.
  608. 42:17We're going to give these intruders, oh, 20% of your house.
  609. 42:25And just why don't you agree to this, homeowner?
  610. 42:28See, we would have paid you, homeowner, are the problem because this is your house.
  611. 42:34It always has been, but you're trying to defend yourself and the violence will stop
  612. 42:42as soon as you give 20, 25% of your house to the people that broke in.
  613. 42:49I mean, and you say, well, that's not fair at all.
  614. 42:53That's what a two state solution is, really.
  615. 42:57And it won't work because the Palestinians, the Islamic, the jihadist, whether it be Hamas,
  616. 43:05the Pilah, they have a 100% track record of breaking their contracts for peace.
  617. 43:15Why would we believe that they would be any different now?
  618. 43:19I was on the Temple Mount two years ago, literally on the Temple Mount, listening to female college
  619. 43:25students chant Israel must be thrown to the bottom of the sea. That's not tolerance. Let's go to
  620. 43:33Randy in Texas. Randy, welcome. Thank you so much, guys. Love you both. My brothers in Christ.
  621. 43:40Yes. Hey, I want to do a backup of something you were talking about earlier and I'll just make my
  622. 43:47point and I'll hang up the phone and let you guys talk. You were talking about the different denominations,
  623. 43:52You know, the Lutherans, the Baptist of every stride,
  624. 43:57performed Baptist, other Baptists, et cetera,
  625. 43:59and Presbyterian, we're all under the same tent.
  626. 44:02And you included Roman Catholicism,
  627. 44:05I must disagree with you on that.
  628. 44:07First time I've ever disagreed with you, Alex.
  629. 44:09I love you, brother.
  630. 44:10They are pagan in origin.
  631. 44:13They are not under the same tent.
  632. 44:15They're good with abortion and family issues.
  633. 44:18One man, one woman, but they're not under the same tent.
  634. 44:21individual Catholics, yes, might be in the tent, but not the religion. I'd love to hear your take on that. Thanks guys. Love you.
  635. 44:30Love you brother. I completely agree with you. I completely agree. But I think about this though, in terms of of trying to save our nation and stand for morals. Years and years ago, Dr. Jerry Falwell, who was a friend of mine, he had the moral majority.
  636. 44:47And of course the left, I was in college during these years Caleb and the left lost their mind because I would say,
  637. 44:54Oh, they're not moral and they're not the majority. All right. Here's the thing.
  638. 45:00Soteriology is how we get saved. Soterios, the Greek word for salvation. And I believe that, you know,
  639. 45:10Biblically, you must repent, turn from sin to Christ, accept Christ to be born again.
  640. 45:17And I realize in terms of the big tent, we would disagree on soteriology.
  641. 45:24I mean, there would be liberal, Protestant denominations that don't even believe somebody
  642. 45:29has to get saved.
  643. 45:31But when it comes to the moral issues, retaining our country, the rule of law, marriages between
  644. 45:41a man and a woman, there are only two genders, male and female.
  645. 45:46Homosexuality is wrong.
  646. 45:49I think without compromising our Christianity, because it's, I'm not saying that we can or
  647. 45:56should stand together on salvation, but on the moral foundation, the Judeo-Christian, natural
  648. 46:05law, moral foundation that made America possible.
  649. 46:10I think we can stand together without compromising our Christian convictions.
  650. 46:16I'm only speaking for myself, but what do you say about this, Caleb?
  651. 46:20Yeah, I absolutely love this question and I appreciate the caller very much on this.
  652. 46:25I said it before, I'm a Lutheran, so you want to go to Fisticuffs with Rome?
  653. 46:30I'm ready.
  654. 46:31Let's go.
  655. 46:32It's like the OG of it, right?
  656. 46:35You got to remember, Luther was trying to reform the church.
  657. 46:38And I would say that the Catholic church absolutely still needs to be reformed.
  658. 46:43The caller rightly points out that the Roman Catholic church, the leadership, is extremely
  659. 46:49problematic and they still teach things that are in my opinion fundamentally wrong within
  660. 46:56Christianity.
  661. 46:57Now, I did appreciate the caller saying as well, there are so many great individual Catholics.
  662. 47:02I know many of them that are just, I see their fruit, I see their walk.
  663. 47:07I have no doubt that they love Jesus Christ with all their hearts, souls and minds.
  664. 47:13But he's right.
  665. 47:14The Catholic Church needs to be reformed.
  666. 47:17We've got to get it, I don't know, to address things like the prayers to Mary and things
  667. 47:23like that.
  668. 47:24They're just, they're wrong.
  669. 47:26They're flat out wrong.
  670. 47:27Mary doesn't save you.
  671. 47:28It is only Christ Jesus that does.
  672. 47:30And with all of the social issues that have recently, well, as a blade occurred within the
  673. 47:36Roman Catholic Church, yeah, like they've gone woke.
  674. 47:40But as you pointed out, Alex saw a lot of other denominations.
  675. 47:43I would say anyone who's been who's been called woke, they're not part of the big tent.
  676. 47:48Okay.
  677. 47:49You've given up your first love.
  678. 47:51You have denied Christ because you're okay with abortion and transgenderism and all these
  679. 47:55other issues.
  680. 47:56You're outside the tent.
  681. 47:57You're not part of it.
  682. 47:58Well, well said.
  683. 48:00Well said.
  684. 48:01I want to get this calling from Missouri Edgar from Missouri.
  685. 48:04Welcome.
  686. 48:05Thanks for holding.
  687. 48:07There's a figure and I'm from Maryland.
  688. 48:09Oh, I'm sorry.
  689. 48:10I'm sorry.
  690. 48:11Maryland.
  691. 48:12I apologize.
  692. 48:13thank you for your program i've got one question has anybody considered the new
  693. 48:18uy work mayor is now sitting on the largest international gold deposit in the world
  694. 48:23under Manhattan and what could happen and how could it get to it
  695. 48:27that i don't know uh... kyla do you know anything about that
  696. 48:33and a little bit of trouble here in the color was he saying the largest gold
  697. 48:36deposit is under Manhattan
  698. 48:37yeah yeah now edgar let me ask you mean in terms of uh... goal that could be
  699. 48:42mind or like actual gold in a safe like Fort Knox.
  700. 48:48No, they have cells under Manhattan
  701. 48:50where all the countries of the world keep gold pockets
  702. 48:53and they interchange them on a daily basis
  703. 48:56on flop-bedding carts.
  704. 48:58They've had programs about that for years.
  705. 49:00Wow.
  706. 49:01I have to confess ignorance.
  707. 49:03I didn't know that.
  708. 49:04I'm not actually lying.
  709. 49:05I do know what he's talking about now, Alex.
  710. 49:07So yeah, he's right.
  711. 49:09They've been moving gold in and out of New York
  712. 49:11for years and years and years.
  713. 49:13To me, it is rather suspicious as we see the rise
  714. 49:15of the BRICS nations, you know, brush, sorry.
  715. 49:19The BRICS are messing it up already.
  716. 49:20The BRICS nations, yes.
  717. 49:22That are all moving all of their currencies
  718. 49:24into gold-backed currencies.
  719. 49:26And now we have this socialist, you know,
  720. 49:28communist jihadist who's going to be in control
  721. 49:31of that city.
  722. 49:33It raises some eyebrows right there.
  723. 49:35Are they going to start moving that gold
  724. 49:38into these bircinations to bring about a downfall of the United States and really the
  725. 49:42United States currency. That'd be my question on it.
  726. 49:45Well, I, yeah, that, I don't know, another subject for another day. There is even talk
  727. 49:52of moving Wall Street out of New York City. Are you, are you aware of that? I had not heard
  728. 50:00that one yet, Alex, but,
  729. 50:02Seriously, moving the New York Stock Exchange out of New York because the presumed absolute
  730. 50:11exit of major corporations from New York City.
  731. 50:16We can talk about that at a future show.
  732. 50:19Caleb Collier, thank you for what you do for God and country.
  733. 50:23And folks, thanks for listening.
  734. 50:24Alex McCralland here.
  735. 50:27We give God the glory and we know our home is heaven, but in the meantime, let's stand
  736. 50:31for truth.
