  10. 0:28And now the Hamilton Corner.
  11. 0:33Good evening, everyone.
  12. 0:34Welcome to the Hamilton Corner here on American Family Radio.
  13. 0:37I'm your host, Abraham Hamilton, the third broadcasting
  14. 0:40for the final day this week here in Orlando, Florida,
  15. 0:45where we are here for the Home School Legal Defense
  16. 0:48Association's 2026 National Leaders Conference.
  17. 0:53That's HSLDA's 2026 NLC.
  18. 0:57and we have had a wonderful time here this entire week.
  19. 1:02I'm a bit heavy-hearted,
  20. 1:04has I'm gonna share this program with you today
  21. 1:09and it's because of just the horrible admission
  22. 1:18by the New York Times columnist,
  23. 1:22Nicole Hannah Jones and what she said
  24. 1:24and what it represents.
  25. 1:25And there are things, man, that are happening,
  26. 1:30that do not have to happen.
  27. 1:32You know, I say repeatedly on this program
  28. 1:36that we have lots of opportunities.
  29. 1:39The grace of God is sufficient to recover
  30. 1:40from all manner of sin, but not all sin is the same.
  31. 1:44It's the same in terms of its eternal consequences
  32. 1:46if there's no repentance.
  33. 1:48But not all sin is the same in terms
  34. 1:50of the temporal consequences.
  35. 1:52And one of the things that is just true
  36. 1:59is that they're mulligans and golf,
  37. 2:00but they're no mulligans as it pertains to our children.
  38. 2:02And so we'll get into it, but Niko Hannah Jones,
  39. 2:07the author of the 1619 Project, the Ahistorical,
  40. 2:14frankly false project about our country,
  41. 2:19seems that false it became the rest in our own home.
  42. 2:21And the only reason why we know about it is because she published her essay about what's
  43. 2:27happened.
  44. 2:28So we're going to get into that as we go throughout today's program.
  45. 2:30But at this very moment, many of you, if not most of you are making your transition from
  46. 2:34your part time jobs where you generate an income to your full time jobs, where you cultivate
  47. 2:39an outcome.
  48. 2:40And as you do so, I want to remind you to do so with intentionality, understanding the primacy
  49. 2:44that God places on family and welcoming his view to govern, to God, and to God, your view
  50. 2:50and engagement starting right in your own homes.
  51. 2:56On location with us here,
  52. 2:57we got the Real JMac, produce extraordinaire,
  53. 3:00and we are ready to rock and roll with today's edition
  54. 3:03of the program.
  55. 3:05I remind you as I do daily,
  56. 3:07many of you have not most of you are making your transition
  57. 3:10from your part time jobs,
  58. 3:11where you generate an income to your full time jobs,
  59. 3:15where you cultivate an outcome.
  60. 3:16And as you do so,
  61. 3:17I want to remind you to do so with intentionality,
  62. 3:21understanding the primacy that God places on families.
  63. 3:26We will never, as a society, out politic, out vote.
  64. 3:32And I know we got the midterm elections
  65. 3:33that are coming upon us in what,
  66. 3:36less four weeks or so, which are definitely important,
  67. 3:40but we will not be able to outvote our way
  68. 3:43out of deficiencies that abound in the home.
  69. 3:47where we are in our nation at this stage.
  70. 3:50There is one way forward.
  71. 3:53Hear me here and I pray you hear me well.
  72. 3:55There is one way forward and that is through obeying with God,
  73. 4:00commanded us in scripture that we've walked our way into this station in our
  74. 4:04nation.
  75. 4:04We have to repent our way out of it.
  76. 4:08You understand what I'm saying?
  77. 4:10God uses things like elections.
  78. 4:11I've said before when God gave us the reprieve from she,
  79. 4:15shall never be president in 2016. That was exactly what it was a reprieve, a reprieve in 2024.
  80. 4:25The Lord rescued us from she shall never be president the remix. But unfortunately far too
  81. 4:32many of us took that as an occasion to fall asleep at the wheel yet again. And if we continue to
  82. 4:38misinterpret and misunderstand what a reprieve actually is what a reprieve is, is a moment to
  83. 4:46exhale in the face of looming danger, right? So when God grants us reprieves, He doesn't
  84. 4:55give us reprieves, so we can go, whoa, what is the great reprieve, ain't it? Whoa, whoa,
  85. 5:00a Jeff, that reprieve, huh? What do you say about that reprieve, huh? No, God gives us
  86. 5:05a reprieve so we can put hand to plow so that we can work. Jesus said, let us work while it
  87. 5:13is day because it even comes when no man works. And that is what we have. And in many ways,
  88. 5:20man, we are wasting the reprieve that God has given us, but we have to reverse that. To the
  89. 5:28word of God we go and begin the program today in the book of Proverbs. And this will all flow
  90. 5:35from the same tenor that I began the program with in the book of Proverbs. Yesterday I talked
  91. 5:42about the fact that God has given us an entire book and the wisdom of God has personified
  92. 5:49through fatherly advice throughout the entire book. And yet again, you will see another iteration
  93. 5:55of that here in Proverbs chapter three, verses 19 through 23, Proverbs chapter three, verses
  94. 6:0419 through 23. And this is what the Lord's word says, the Lord by wisdom founded the earth.
  95. 6:14By understanding, he established the heavens.
  96. 6:19By his knowledge the deeps broke open, and the clouds dropped down the dew.
  97. 6:25My son do not lose sight of these.
  98. 6:30Keep sound wisdom and discretion, and they will be life for your soul.
  99. 6:37An adornment for your neck, then you will walk on your way securely, and your foot will
  100. 6:45not stumble. I read that text because the Lord has just been
  101. 6:51impressing upon me. The reality that the reality that wisdom is
  102. 6:56available to us, guys, wisdom is available to us. We don't have
  103. 7:03to try to press our way forward, relying on humanistic means only,
  104. 7:07listening to political spokesmiles and ideological partisans and
  105. 7:13talking heads here, talking heads there, and we experiment on our
  106. 7:17children and children incur war wounds and scars and scrapes that God never intended for them to have
  107. 7:27never intended for them to have and all too often and and and I don't think there's a parent on this planet
  108. 7:35except for those who are sociopaths I don't think there's a parent on this planet that says you know what
  109. 7:41I want to destroy my child and destroy their future
  110. 7:44except for sociopaths and those who have succumbed to seducing lies that would literally kill their own children in the womb or thereafter
  111. 7:51That is sociopathic. It's not an excuse to be absolved from criminal responsibility for
  112. 7:57the heinous acts of murder and things like that. But the majority of parents don't say
  113. 8:02I want to destroy my children's lives and destroy their futures. But we very often allow ourselves
  114. 8:08because of a lack of malevolent intention. We often excuse ourselves from operating from
  115. 8:15a lack of wisdom. And then when the evidence of that lack of wisdom is made palpable and
  116. 8:23made manifest to us. We sometimes excuse ourselves by saying, I never intended for that to happen.
  117. 8:33And guys, even in our legal system, how many times have you heard this ignorance of the laws, no excuse
  118. 8:37for breaking it? You're speeding on a roadway. Oh, man, I didn't know the speed limit change. You
  119. 8:43think that's going to cause the officer to say you haven't violated the speed limit? We know this
  120. 8:49practically we have got to get to the place, especially within the body of Christ, where we don't allow
  121. 8:54ourselves to be excused from fruit examination because our intentions may
  122. 8:59very well be in a right place. You know, I've said it before, I don't think anybody
  123. 9:05in the church context creates, you know, things like youth ministries because they
  124. 9:09have malevolent intentions, not at all. But do we have the humility and the
  125. 9:13integrity and the honesty before God to examine the fruit? What are our youth
  126. 9:17ministries producing? Are they contributing toward, you know, passionate
  127. 9:25lifelong, obedient disciples of Christ Jesus.
  128. 9:29You know what I'm a friend of mine who was a youth pastor,
  129. 9:33said there was a member of the church where he was serving,
  130. 9:35and one of the parents confronted him, said,
  131. 9:37you are losing our children.
  132. 9:39You, you are losing our children.
  133. 9:44How could that be?
  134. 9:45When you serve your scriptures, who is responsible
  135. 9:48for evangelizing and catacoshing
  136. 9:50and making disciples of our children?
  137. 9:51That's our job as parents.
  138. 9:55But because we have genuine motivation many times,
  139. 9:59And, you know, well, how do you quote unquote do church?
  140. 10:02Well, you see churches done this way over there
  141. 10:04and well, they had a youth pastor
  142. 10:07and look at the facilities that they have.
  143. 10:09And they have the biggest play place.
  144. 10:11Who needs to go to a theme park
  145. 10:13because we've turned our church into a theme park.
  146. 10:15And oh man, our children love going to church
  147. 10:17because it's fun.
  148. 10:19I'm not opposed to church being fun,
  149. 10:21but is that the purpose of the church?
  150. 10:24When I search the scriptures,
  151. 10:25is there anywhere where it says,
  152. 10:28Oh, and go ye therefore and make a play place for those between the ages of seven and fifteen
  153. 10:35years old.
  154. 10:36So let it be written, so let it be done.
  155. 10:38That's not in the Scriptures, guys.
  156. 10:40That's not in the Scriptures.
  157. 10:45The Lord said in His holy word that the Word of God is an odor of death to those who are
  158. 10:49perishing.
  159. 10:54If my child is not attracted to the truth of God's word, that's evidence of a spiritual
  160. 10:59issue.
  161. 11:01The answer to that is not to create a Ronald McDonald's play place,
  162. 11:06replete with fortune cookies and graham crackers and a puppet show.
  163. 11:10So it can be fun.
  164. 11:11Not only is this true what I'm saying.
  165. 11:13Yes, children need to have information communicated to them in the language
  166. 11:17that they can retain, understand and embrace.
  167. 11:23But my children, I say to my sons, yes, praise God, I have sons.
  168. 11:26They're adolescents at this time.
  169. 11:27But my responsibility is not to have them to protract their adolescents.
  170. 11:32I want them to enjoy their adolescence.
  171. 11:33But my job is to change my boys to be men.
  172. 11:39The Lord has given us His church
  173. 11:41to be the pillar and ground of truth.
  174. 11:44The Lord has given us the church
  175. 11:46to equip the sites for the work of the ministry.
  176. 11:48One of the frontline ministries is equipping parents
  177. 11:51to disciple our children
  178. 11:56so that we can have a generation of believers
  179. 11:58who know the Lord in lifelong,
  180. 12:00personal, obedient relationship with Him
  181. 12:02from their youth up to where we grow as a bride in the body
  182. 12:09to where Daniel's and Azariah's and Hannoni's and Missaels
  183. 12:12and Timothy's, they're not exceptions.
  184. 12:15They shouldn't be satisfied with them being exceptions.
  185. 12:25Because if you look around, if you look around,
  186. 12:27the people that are supporting
  187. 12:28the democratic socialists of America
  188. 12:30and the people that are succumbing
  189. 12:32to the seducing songs of the Abdul Syed's and others
  190. 12:34that are Islamists, but they come
  191. 12:40with the tantalizing seductions of socialism
  192. 12:45and scores of our young people are falling in line.
  193. 12:51Because darkness is not an affirmative force,
  194. 12:53but it will reoccupy the space that is barren of the light.
  195. 13:00When we talk about what's happening with the young people in our country,
  196. 13:03all of these young people have come from somebody's home.
  197. 13:07All of these young people have been discipled somewhere.
  198. 13:12Jesus told us to student when fully trained, they will be like their teachers.
  199. 13:19Time is out for making excuses, man.
  200. 13:26We have to have sober and honest reflection, prayerful deliberations and
  201. 13:33considerations in humble, holy spirit infused times of repentance.
  202. 13:47Because our country didn't just drift into where we are at this stage.
  203. 13:53We've walked into it one foot, one step at a time.
  204. 13:57And time is out, time is out, Lantiddly Winx,
  205. 14:06and you know, the Prophet Jeremiah said,
  206. 14:08the Lord said to the Prophet Jeremiah,
  207. 14:10you have bound the wounds of my people lightly.
  208. 14:15Saying, peace, peace when there is no peace.
  209. 14:22And time is out for us to continue playing games.
  210. 14:25I say it often, and I'm because I'm meaning.
  211. 14:28We must be about our Father's business.
  212. 15:00Hello, I'm Abraham Hamilton III.

  222. 15:35Shiting light into the darkness.
  223. 15:37This is the Hamilton Corner, an American family radio.
  224. 15:41Welcome back to the Hamilton Corner, Abraham, Hamilton
  225. 15:43third year as I mentioned live from Orlando, Florida, where we are on location for HSLDA
  226. 15:4926 National Leaders Conference. HSLDA is the premier organization, intended for homeschool
  227. 15:57freedom, utilizing the full heft of legal experience and expertise to kick the doors
  228. 16:04down, kick the doors down that would keep really families trapped into failing systems
  229. 16:11that I would say plainly of discipleship because education is discipleship. Cultivation of the
  230. 16:17mind is central to making disciples. This is why Jesus said when he was asked about the
  231. 16:22greatest commandment and he gave you a twofer, you shall love the Lord your God with all your
  232. 16:26heart, all your soul and all your mind. And the second is like it, you shall love your neighbor
  233. 16:33as yourself. The mind is included in our love for the Lord, which is why if we continue to
  234. 16:39to seed the cultivation of the mind for successive generations of our fellow countrymen, starting
  235. 16:45right in our own homes with our own children and allowing them to be discipled by people
  236. 16:50that are hostile to the truth of our living God, we are yielding our children to an anti-Christ
  237. 16:55discipleship system. Full stop. Which is why you need to become a member of HSLDA right
  238. 17:01where you are because you don't have to do that. There will never be another person that
  239. 17:05is better to disciple your child and to cultivate their hearts and minds than you.
  240. 17:10That's just a simple reality.
  241. 17:12HSLDA.org is the website.
  242. 17:15Go there to get all of the information that you need and you will be edified by doing so
  243. 17:20you can even tell them, Abe sent you.
  244. 17:22I'm kidding.
  245. 17:23You can't tell them that.
  246. 17:24Well, I have a program with me, my beautiful wife that I'm honored to have on the program
  247. 17:29with me because she shared my grief as I'm reading this article and it's titled
  248. 17:36I Failed My Daughter. Yeah, that's the title of the article published in the New
  249. 17:43York Times by Nicole Hannah Jones. She's the same one who wrote the 1619 project
  250. 17:48and she explains in the piece because of her ideological commitments. This is
  251. 17:56is absurd, man, because of her ideological commitments in light of the fact that she testifies that
  252. 18:03she was benefited from, dare I say, been a beneficiary of school choice in Iowa where she was raised
  253. 18:11that helped her to pursue a career at the New York Times. But because of her ideological commitment,
  254. 18:17she intentionally, she and her husband, by the way, Faraji is his name, she and her husband put their
  255. 18:25soul daughter intentionally in a failing and failing
  256. 18:30failing schools that were that was in their words is her
  257. 18:34words segregated by skin shade. And she did that, you know,
  258. 18:39because she liked jokes and they rhyme with whoa, you know, but
  259. 18:45she only finds out later daughter being 16 years old, that
  260. 18:50the child didn't learn anything. The child had been set back,
  261. 18:54unsupervised lunchrooms, fights breaking out,
  262. 18:59the child thinking she's proficient,
  263. 19:01thinking she's good in math,
  264. 19:03I only to learn later, she can't do long division,
  265. 19:06can't do fractions.
  266. 19:08It broke my heart reading it.
  267. 19:10It broke my heart.
  268. 19:12It broke my heart.
  269. 19:13And the first thing that came to my mind is,
  270. 19:15you know, I'm disgusted by the notions of people
  271. 19:20that embrace these regressive ideologies
  272. 19:22that they're continually willing to sacrifice
  273. 19:23their children to pursue.
  274. 19:25Yeah, like what, what, the enemy has so deceived us though,
  275. 19:30like, and again, you know, speaking to majority Christian
  276. 19:33audience here and also being part of the body of Christ
  277. 19:36ourselves, we know and we see it even within the church, right?
  278. 19:41But, but, but culturally, right?
  279. 19:43Because the culture unfortunately is dictating to the church now,
  280. 19:47instead of the church being the pillar of the Grand of Truth,
  281. 19:49that we've always known from scripture.
  282. 19:52So the ideology has superseded wisdom.
  283. 19:55Like the ideology is what they would say they would a lot of people adhere to this ideology of really segregation and distinctions because of melanin content.
  284. 20:07And and this this wokeism it is a lie from the devil that but it's very strategic and very clever right because the enemy clever.
  285. 20:16Well it's a duct it's a colossum.
  286. 20:17It's seductive, yes, but what is the purpose of it?
  287. 20:20At the end of the day, as we see in this one story,
  288. 20:23it is in destroying, in your destroying young people,
  289. 20:27which is why the culture today looks the way it looks.
  290. 20:31In the piece, which is long, what is worth the read,
  291. 20:40the cohena Jones discusses a moment
  292. 20:43when her daughter brought to her attention that you guys,
  293. 20:47basically you're experimenting with my life.
  294. 20:49This is, this is,
  295. 20:50and I think her husband also said,
  296. 20:51is that what we're doing?
  297. 20:52Yeah, like at a moment in time.
  298. 20:53Yeah, like they don't know.
  299. 20:55And the go-hand of Jones is writing, she says,
  300. 20:57quote, I sat there silently for several minutes,
  301. 21:00conjuring the image of my little girl thinking
  302. 21:02she was soaring in class when she was failing
  303. 21:06and my devastation morphed into hot rage, end quote.
  304. 21:10Yeah.
  305. 21:11And so for the husband and the wife to say,
  306. 21:15to ask what are they doing,
  307. 21:17that the scripture that I read early came to mind,
  308. 21:20because we do not have to operate with a lack of wisdom.
  309. 21:24We don't have to.
  310. 21:25That's right.
  311. 21:26We don't have to.
  312. 21:28God has given us His holy word that provides all things
  313. 21:32that pertain to life and godliness.
  314. 21:35Do we really believe that though?
  315. 21:36Like, do we really believe that God has already
  316. 21:41given us principles and truths that apply
  317. 21:43to every area of our lives?
  318. 21:46Like, let's really ask that question to the church.
  319. 21:48So those of us that have the word of God,
  320. 21:50whose eyes have been open,
  321. 21:52who we have been transformed by the power
  322. 21:54of what Jesus did on the cross.
  323. 21:55Like literally, we have the wisdom that supersedes
  324. 21:59the humanly wisdom, right?
  325. 22:00And we see the distinction in scripture that God makes
  326. 22:03where, you know, the wisdom of God
  327. 22:06completely trumps the wisdom of this world.
  328. 22:07It's not even wisdom, what man comes up with
  329. 22:10is actually lies from the devil.
  330. 22:11So for her...
  331. 22:13James says that, it's devilish.
  332. 22:15It is exactly.
  333. 22:16So for these, this couple, this woman and her husband
  334. 22:20and putting their daughter in this system,
  335. 22:22thinking that they're doing a greater good,
  336. 22:24it's so baffling to me.
  337. 22:27But they have been so taken captive
  338. 22:29because they really think it is wise
  339. 22:31to fight quote unquote for the little man, right?
  340. 22:33In this scenario, it's poverty-stricken environments
  341. 22:36in our nation.
  342. 22:37And all in the name of an ideology that says
  343. 22:41that white people and black people are different
  344. 22:43and that if you're black, you have to stand with your people.
  345. 22:46And so then they put this child in a school
  346. 22:48thinking that they're doing a good
  347. 22:50when they're literally advancing this idea that like,
  348. 22:54you don't even, it's moronic to think that
  349. 22:57this child is going to be better
  350. 22:59because she's quote unquote with her people, quote unquote,
  351. 23:02like that is so ridiculous to even think like,
  352. 23:07yeah, she's doing well, we're doing the right thing.
  353. 23:09And then throughout the times that they're even
  354. 23:11they're questioning themselves, but then arriving at, oh no, they're failing.
  355. 23:16Like, a blind, like what do you always say about Rachel?
  356. 23:19Rachel's saying that, yes, so like what is it? It's a blindness from the devil.
  357. 23:24And it comes in many different ways, right? And it has impacted the church,
  358. 23:28where we think that, you know, the real wisdom is to advocate for,
  359. 23:34you know, those that look like us. And we stand with those that look like us.
  360. 23:38That is the wisdom of the world that is actually devilish.
  361. 23:41But our eyes have been closed and we've been deceived.
  362. 23:44Not us, but you know, people have been deceived.
  363. 23:46So then we have to go back to what the word of God says.
  364. 23:49The wisdom of God, do we understand, and I think we have a faulty understanding,
  365. 23:52a lot of us, unfortunately, do we first believe that the wisdom comes from God?
  366. 23:57Do we understand who we say?
  367. 23:58When we say that the wisdom comes from God, do we understand who we're talking about?
  368. 24:01Do we understand what we're talking about?
  369. 24:02The creator of the heavens and the earth.
  370. 24:05Do we understand what we're talking about?
  371. 24:05The most high, the greatest being?
  372. 24:08Do we give him his rightful position in our hearts?
  373. 24:10We must not if we adhere to the, if we succumb to these ideologies,
  374. 24:14even in the world, in the church, because it happens in the church, right?
  375. 24:17It does.
  376. 24:19I'm under no misconceptions concerning whether or not,
  377. 24:24I'm not, I'm not here to assert whether or not
  378. 24:26go ahead of Jones is or is not a Christian.
  379. 24:29I don't know her. I don't think she's professed to be a Christian,
  380. 24:31but I don't know.
  381. 24:32But this article really is provoking to me
  382. 24:36because I wonder if some of the things that she has asserted actually applied to Christians,
  383. 24:44like she talked about her daughter thinking she was doing well in a particular class,
  384. 24:51and when she finally, like finally, the parents didn't have any idea what was going in the class.
  385. 24:57And then when the parents finally asked for evidence of the child's work,
  386. 25:01they go ahead of Jones in an article right,
  387. 25:03that she found scores and scores of ungraded assignments.
  388. 25:07Oh, that's horrible.
  389. 25:08That hadn't even been graded.
  390. 25:09Yeah.
  391. 25:09And she's reading in some of the literary work.
  392. 25:12She's finding all kind of grammar errors, punctuation errors,
  393. 25:14and all kind of things.
  394. 25:16And I'm wondering how is that something
  395. 25:18that many people, maybe even in this audience,
  396. 25:20will have to admit that that's the same for them,
  397. 25:22that they don't have a clue what's going on.
  398. 25:24Babe, we have to, sorry.
  399. 25:25Well, let me just say that they don't have a clue
  400. 25:27what's going on in their children's work.
  401. 25:29They don't know what's going on in their lives.
  402. 25:32They don't know what's going on in their schools.
  403. 25:34And what I'm saying, what's happening,
  404. 25:36because education is discipleship.
  405. 25:37I'm not limiting that to classroom didactic presentations
  406. 25:42because peer learning is a vital component of it.
  407. 25:46And sometimes people say, well, you know,
  408. 25:48as my child has grown, they don't really talk to me
  409. 25:51as much because reality as children are people.
  410. 25:54And as people, we tend to converse most comfortably
  411. 25:58with the people we spend the most of our time with.
  412. 26:00but we are unintentionally training our children to be most comfortable away from us
  413. 26:05and to be the least comfortable with us.
  414. 26:07So it's not surprising that we don't often get to know what truly is going on in their
  415. 26:12hearts because they learn unintentionally.
  416. 26:14They just have to endure us for a little while because the majority of their waking
  417. 26:17hours are not around us in the first place.
  418. 26:19And so they're the most comfortable and most conversant and most free when they're around
  419. 26:22the people with whom they spend the majority of their waking hours.
  420. 26:25We don't get our marching orders from the world.
  421. 26:29Speaking to the church, right?
  422. 26:30to the church about education. We should never get our marching orders from the world. We
  423. 26:35must get our marching orders. I'm talking about every marching order that applies to
  424. 26:40every area of our lives from the Word of God. When we are having little children and we're
  425. 26:44saying, how are we going to educate and what do we do private school, public school, homeschooling,
  426. 26:47whatever, what does the Lord say? What does the word, do we not believe against your
  427. 26:52question? Do we not believe that the Lord gives us wisdom and that the wisdom comes
  428. 26:56on the greatest mind that exists and that his word gives us everything that has to do
  429. 27:01with loving godliness.
  430. 27:02We literally have access to the mind of God to make every decision in life.
  431. 27:06So when it comes to education, we do not understand discipleship.
  432. 27:10It must be that the church, because again, we UNI, let me speak in your story more so than
  433. 27:15mine because I was raised by unbelievers, but you were raised by believers, your parents
  434. 27:20trusted a system.
  435. 27:23a system that we now know from its onset was designed to accomplish exactly what it is accomplishing.
  436. 27:31Okay? Like we always say, the statistics are there. Majority of people are funneled through
  437. 27:37this system. Parents trust the experts in education. You should not, that's why we get the things
  438. 27:45that we are told as homeschool parents, what we say, you don't have an education degree.
  439. 27:50What are you doing teaching your child? You're not prepared to teach. You're not a teacher.
  440. 27:53that that ideology is so bankrupt.
  441. 27:58We have bought the lie.
  442. 27:59In the church, we have trusted a system.
  443. 28:02What is the system doing?
  444. 28:03It is making disciples, that system,
  445. 28:05that educational system is making disciples.
  446. 28:07What is the disciple?
  447. 28:08A disciple is a disciplined learner,
  448. 28:11a one that has learned well,
  449. 28:13that has become like his teacher like the word of God says.
  450. 28:15So a lot of us have had to unplug from the matrix, right?
  451. 28:20We've gone, we've been through the system.
  452. 28:21What is it that they do to your point that you're making now?
  453. 28:24We, not we, parents have abandoned their children
  454. 28:29to a system of learning where they think they're actually learning.
  455. 28:32And guess what, they are learning.
  456. 28:33Many of them, that's every hair, but many of them.
  457. 28:35Many of them. What are they learning?
  458. 28:37They're clearly not learning how to multiply and divide well.
  459. 28:40And they're not learning, you know, that three hours
  460. 28:42well, come to find out.
  461. 28:44But what are they learning?
  462. 28:45They're being discipled.
  463. 28:46They're learning socialism, they're learning communism,
  464. 28:49they're learning, quote unquote, inclusionism
  465. 28:52where we tolerate all things,
  466. 28:53they're learning all the ideologies of the wicked one.
  467. 28:57Normalization of sexual deviancy,
  468. 28:58that's a DTQIB plus.
  469. 29:00All of that, to the church though, to the church.
  470. 29:04Are we going to continue to trust that system?
  471. 29:07Are we going to continue to send our children
  472. 29:10to a system and then be surprised why at 16 and 17,
  473. 29:14they're not talking to us and why they are embracing
  474. 29:18Wokeism and all these crazy ideologies and now they're not talking us because we vote for Trump like
  475. 29:24Are we waking up are we waking up because we we in the church?
  476. 29:29Majority of Christians today are sitting in the kiss of public school still still so are we gonna wake up? Mm-hmm
  477. 29:35And I have so many thoughts
  478. 29:38I
  479. 29:40Go here first and then I want to go later because they go hand to Jones when she blames places blame ultimately her blame is like on
  480. 29:48on money, you know, you need more funding.
  481. 29:52You need more funding,
  482. 29:53because he opposes school choice even.
  483. 29:55It's just amazing, but in the piece,
  484. 29:59her 60 year old daughter is quoted, 16,
  485. 30:02and says quote, sometimes I wish instead of always
  486. 30:05thinking about other kids, you would have thought about me.
  487. 30:09I never really got the education, I want it.
  488. 30:12Oh.
  489. 30:13My mother's response.
  490. 30:14Her mother's response?
  491. 30:16I should encode after I want it in quote a mother's response quote
  492. 30:19I acknowledge to you that I didn't do the best for you, and I am so sorry these days
  493. 30:26These days I feel that I failed both my values and my child
  494. 30:32in quote now
  495. 30:35Already alluded to which she says the problem really is because for her it is well some schools have money and some schools
  496. 30:42Don't I'm like so you so so where were you all those years?
  497. 30:45like the child of 16 and now you're concluding that you failed.
  498. 30:49Where were you at 15 and 14 and 13 and 12 and where would you already
  499. 30:55pray and tell them and 10 and like why did it take so long for you to realize
  500. 31:00that there was a failure and why did it take so long for you to make an
  501. 31:04adjustment. There's a blind faith. We trust the public school system and we
  502. 31:09trust the people that are educating our kids that we think are educating our kids.
  503. 31:11We trust them. We go to work and we do our lives and we plan our vacations and we, you know, make all the money and we grow and we love all the things that we're doing.
  504. 31:23And our children are spending eight plus hours a day being trained to become Marxists and being trained to in worldliness, not even learning how to subtract and read.
  505. 31:35Seniors not learning how to read like what are we doing but it's not funding that's gonna fix it
  506. 31:42Absolutely not
  507. 31:43Because we our history is replete with children who are discipled well than circumstances that can only be described as
  508. 31:51impoverished the issue is not money
  509. 31:54It's really not and what many people think they're merely quote-unquote cultural wars the reality is
  510. 32:00It's spiritual warfare that is transpiring. Hello. I'm Abraham Hamilton the third

  519. 33:11back to the Hamilton Corner on American Family Radio.
  520. 33:16Welcome back to the Hamilton Corner, Abraham Hamilton the 3rd along with Maria Hamilton
  521. 33:20and we're talking about Nikohanna Jones' essay, I failed my daughter.
  522. 33:24It's heartbreaking.
  523. 33:26That's the title of her New York Times publication and it is, it's heartbreaking.
  524. 33:31And before we went to the break, I mentioned that as Nikohanna Jones is making this admission
  525. 33:38publicly and the thing, one of the things that's ironic to me, you know, because she,
  526. 33:42She got a Pulitzer Prize for the A-historical 1619 Project.
  527. 33:49I mean, it's riddled with lies.
  528. 33:50I mean, it's been eviscerated as being factually unsound.
  529. 33:55And while she's having this public mea copa,
  530. 33:58having failed her own daughter,
  531. 34:00I wonder if she gonna get another Pulitzer Prize for this?
  532. 34:03Yes.
  533. 34:03She probably will.
  534. 34:06And it is, it's amazing to me
  535. 34:08because there's been a lot of black fallout
  536. 34:11from the publication and she's even gotten into the comments
  537. 34:14and some are posting on our own article
  538. 34:16into which though she makes this public admission
  539. 34:18that she failed her daughter,
  540. 34:20she then she doubles down on that and says,
  541. 34:23but I do not regret.
  542. 34:26And I don't feel sorry for one moment
  543. 34:29for caring about other people's children.
  544. 34:32What for other people's children?
  545. 34:36That's what I'm saying, where is the deceit?
  546. 34:38I think she thinks that putting her child in that school
  547. 34:41And then like she said, also in the article,
  548. 34:44bringing in her contributions financially,
  549. 34:47that she was actually accomplishing a good,
  550. 34:48where she not only failed her child,
  551. 34:50she failed the quote unquote movement.
  552. 34:52Like, there's nothing was accomplished.
  553. 34:54Nothing was accomplished.
  554. 34:55Nothing was accomplished.
  555. 34:56And her real takeaway, I don't wanna say,
  556. 35:02I do believe she realizes she failed her daughter.
  557. 35:04I don't wanna diminish that.
  558. 35:05Yeah, for sure.
  559. 35:06I think that is true.
  560. 35:07But it didn't stop her from highlighting
  561. 35:11where she feels is the true villain, which is the disparity in spending on education.
  562. 35:18Now, y'all know, I'm a day a little bit, right?
  563. 35:23According to the Finance Division for the New York City Department of Education, I pulled
  564. 35:29some data on the schools where the Cohena Jones and O'Farrage was sending their child.
  565. 35:35In the 2025, 2026 school year, the government allocated $43,972 per student at the PS307 elementary
  566. 35:50school when the co-hosting her daughter.
  567. 35:53Did you hear what I said?
  568. 35:55$43,972 per child.
  569. 36:03We got six.
  570. 36:04That'd be really nice to have to educate our kids.
  571. 36:06Per child.
  572. 36:07Per child.
  573. 36:08You take the issue with spending?
  574. 36:09Per child?
  575. 36:10Nah.
  576. 36:11I go a little further.
  577. 36:12Again, that's the PS307 elementary school where Nicole Hannah Jones sent her daughter.
  578. 36:18According to the New York City Finance Division of Department of Education, how about the
  579. 36:22middle school where they sent her child?
  580. 36:24The Urban Assembly Unison School received $32,418 per student for the same school year.
  581. 36:34spending? No, the issue per child. I mean, guys, this is this is absurd. Some of you
  582. 36:42may recall when I went through across the country, spending per child in
  583. 36:46government schools, spending is not the issue guys. It is not the issue at all.
  584. 36:53Not at all. But the problem that we have, you say where is the deceit? You know what
  585. 36:59the deceit is? That's right. Just a spiritual nine. The deceit is in
  586. 37:05in the heart is where the seat.
  587. 37:08And the seat is so palpable that in this instance,
  588. 37:10they were willing to sacrifice their own child
  589. 37:13on this altar.
  590. 37:14Yeah, there's blindness.
  591. 37:15There's a blind faith.
  592. 37:17Blind faith in their own efforts, blind faith in a system,
  593. 37:20blind faith in this ideology that says that all we need to do
  594. 37:24is make sure that they have better desks
  595. 37:26and better buildings and more bathrooms
  596. 37:28and better what?
  597. 37:30Because you're public school.
  598. 37:31So like the hiring of the teachers, okay,
  599. 37:34funding for what, Kleenex, like what are we talking about?
  600. 37:37What is the money gonna do?
  601. 37:38The money's not gonna change in ideology.
  602. 37:40The money is not gonna improve a system of learning
  603. 37:42that is corrupt and bankrupt from the beginning.
  604. 37:45It's not gonna do it.
  605. 37:46We're gonna have nicer buildings like in Texas.
  606. 37:48We got stadiums, we got football fields.
  607. 37:51The kids are learning atheism
  608. 37:53and they're becoming Marxists
  609. 37:54and they can't read and write on top of that.
  610. 37:57At proficiency levels.
  611. 37:58And again, we don't wanna be overly broad.
  612. 38:00I understand that there are exceptions to this,
  613. 38:02but we need to be honest about what the exceptions are
  614. 38:04and what the rule is.
  615. 38:06And for the believer, for the body of Christ,
  616. 38:10a couple of weeks ago we did a program together
  617. 38:11talking about what is the purpose of education?
  618. 38:14What is the purpose of mind cultivation?
  619. 38:16That if we think it's merely reading, writing,
  620. 38:20and the written, it's the kind of the
  621. 38:23Leninist disposition that you get educated
  622. 38:25just so you can get this job, that is not the biblical anchor
  623. 38:28for what the purpose of education should be.
  624. 38:30And my heart is just breaking again,
  625. 38:35because the believer, the professing believer,
  626. 38:37when we say we're believer, first and foremost,
  627. 38:39we're not saying anything good about ourselves.
  628. 38:41We're saying, when I tell you that I'm a Christian,
  629. 38:44I'm saying that I recognize that I am desperately wicked,
  630. 38:48but for the grace of God.
  631. 38:50And but for the atoning sacrificial work of Jesus Christ
  632. 38:54on the cross, eternal damnation would be my home.
  633. 38:58But for Christ who's redeemed me by his precious blood
  634. 39:02and took upon himself the punishment that I rightly deserve,
  635. 39:06that is what I'm declaring when I say that I'm a Christian.
  636. 39:10But the next thing that should be considered,
  637. 39:12so in light of what Christ has done for me,
  638. 39:15how then am I to live?
  639. 39:19And the corresponding response to what Christ has done for me
  640. 39:24is to live a life of worship,
  641. 39:27to where all that I am is his.
  642. 39:29So when he blesses me and you,
  643. 39:32with the privilege of stewarding his heritage
  644. 39:35for a season, I have to come back to him, Lord,
  645. 39:37how would you have me?
  646. 39:38To do this.
  647. 39:39To steward these image bearers that you've entrusted
  648. 39:42to my care for nurture and admonition,
  649. 39:45for bydea and nuthisia so that they can grow from arrows
  650. 39:49who become in fellow warriors in terms of Psalm 127.
  651. 39:52This stand shoulder to shoulder as we contend
  652. 39:54with the enemy at the gate.
  653. 39:55This is where we are and the concern that I have
  654. 40:00is that we have fundamentally misunderstood
  655. 40:02what that stewardship trust really should consist of
  656. 40:05and should be filled with in the formative training ground
  657. 40:11times that we have because I know most of us understand this,
  658. 40:16that the time rearing our children, it goes by so.
  659. 40:20The days may feel long, but the years are short.
  660. 40:24The years are short.
  661. 40:25Yeah, and we, in addition to what you're saying about what we're saying when we say we're Christians, we're also saying we have the mind of Christ.
  662. 40:34We're also saying we are filled with the Spirit of God.
  663. 40:37That's the one point I was going to add in.
  664. 40:39I'm sorry to interrupt you that as a result of the work of Christ being brought to bear in our lives, super intended by the Spirit of God that we have access to the very wisdom we began to.
  665. 40:50That's exactly what I was going to say now.
  666. 40:51That's exactly right.
  667. 40:52have such a deficiency in discernment.
  668. 40:54That's exactly my point.
  669. 40:55That's exactly what I was saying.
  670. 40:56Do we not understand what it means to be a Christian?
  671. 40:59Do we not understand what it means
  672. 41:00to have the mind of Christ?
  673. 41:02Do we not understand what it means
  674. 41:03to serve the greatest intelligence
  675. 41:06that has created everything that we can see?
  676. 41:08He has created reality dictates it.
  677. 41:10So the God of the Jews,
  678. 41:13the God of the Old and New Testament,
  679. 41:15this God says,
  680. 41:16God of the Bible.
  681. 41:17I have entrusted you with these humans.
  682. 41:21humans. How do we educate them? What does it mean to become a disciple?
  683. 41:26Why are we only satisfied with them learning how to read and write?
  684. 41:29Why are we satisfied with them? Why are we rejoicing at the fact that they're
  685. 41:33going to be the scholars of the next generation only? Like,
  686. 41:36why are we seeing that as the zenith of their experience on earth?
  687. 41:41Like, why are we thinking the greatest thing that I am in, you know,
  688. 41:44charged to do is to make sure my child, you know, gets a good job and,
  689. 41:48and is very intelligent and wins all the awards and that's life.
  690. 41:53That's what we're raising these arrows to become.
  691. 41:56Well, should there be?
  692. 41:56Not Christ followers?
  693. 41:58Yeah, well, should promote the query.
  694. 42:00Are we satisfied with that?
  695. 42:01Are we satisfied with our children being in displaying intelligence
  696. 42:07and getting good jobs and living the good life,
  697. 42:13but their hearts are cold toward the Lord?
  698. 42:14Oh, that's a failure.
  699. 42:15Is that a successful life?
  700. 42:19is it a success to accumulate wealth,
  701. 42:24have retirement accounts,
  702. 42:27and being able to take vacations bi-annually,
  703. 42:29or twice a year, but hearts are cold to the Lord,
  704. 42:35that their lives are lived in self-aggrandizement
  705. 42:38and self-consumption.
  706. 42:39The Lord told us, what does a prophet or man to gain
  707. 42:42the whole world and lose their soul?
  708. 42:46And I'm not, again, painting with the Bible,
  709. 42:47I said everybody's gonna lose their soul,
  710. 42:49But but by the grace of God we were fed through the system got intervened and God does that because that's who he is
  711. 42:55Right so yes, he will rescue he will bring his own to himself
  712. 43:00But guys he has instructed us now their eyes are open to be the pillar of God of truth to be the soul of the earth
  713. 43:07How how are we doing that? Are we just blindly seating these arrows to a system that is gonna like
  714. 43:15like at best they're going to what have financial success at best, yet their eternity is questionable.
  715. 43:25Yeah. These are things. This is what I mean. This is an example I should say of what I mean
  716. 43:31when I said if we would welcome the Lord to grasp ahold of us in our homes because often
  717. 43:37what is priority for us is what we convey to the generation coming behind us. Yes.
  718. 43:46The things that we deem as most important very often are conveyed to those behind us.
  719. 43:52Again, I don't want to be overly broad.
  720. 43:54I know there are exceptions to this, but I'm speaking more in terms of the general propositions,
  721. 44:00the things that are generally priority, they are often communicated.
  722. 44:09Have we surrendered this aspect of our hearts and minds to be examined first and foremost
  723. 44:18under the white, hot scrutiny of the Lord's Word,
  724. 44:21and then secondarily be transformed here,
  725. 44:27because there is a comfortable idolatry to where,
  726. 44:33when you get down to brass taxes, the things that really
  727. 44:36are important to us is we really need the economy
  728. 44:39to be thriving.
  729. 44:40That's what we really need.
  730. 44:41We really need to get a hold of inflation,
  731. 44:43because how can we ever make a way?
  732. 44:46even like with the affordability conversations.
  733. 44:48You know, my young adult child is unable to purchase a home.
  734. 44:53And that really has me riled up, you know,
  735. 44:55but are we equally riled up if our young adult children
  736. 44:59are not living for the Lord?
  737. 45:00Does that rile us up?
  738. 45:02Are we riled up when we, are we riled up about inflation?
  739. 45:07But we're not necessarily riled up about
  740. 45:10whether or not our child is,
  741. 45:11is understands the transcendent splendor of living a life fully surrendered to the Lord's
  742. 45:18will and his purposes.
  743. 45:19And what does the Lord want from us?
  744. 45:21What does he call this to?
  745. 45:22What matters to God?
  746. 45:24In those questions that you're just presented to us as the church, what matters to us?
  747. 45:29The only way to answer that is in answering the question, what matters to God?
  748. 45:35Because we take our marching orders as his people from him.
  749. 45:38What matters to God should matter to us?
  750. 45:41matters to God should matter to us. What matters to us? Is it what matters to God? Are we doing
  751. 45:47that subexamination? Like, do we understand what God has put in his word? Because I just read this
  752. 45:52morning and Ken Ham, I love dearly made a post and he said, you know, we built this arc, the
  753. 45:56arcing counter, right? He built a life-size arc. And he's like, we built this arc. And then when we
  754. 46:01like opened it, he said that he had his staff put 12 stones on the grounds of where the arc is
  755. 46:07is currently built in Kentucky, right?
  756. 46:09And he said, and we did that because we realized
  757. 46:12what God was calling us to.
  758. 46:14The ark is like those 12 stones in the Old Testament,
  759. 46:18when the people of God were crossing the Jordan
  760. 46:20and Joshua is leading them and he says,
  761. 46:23God tells them, hey, get the representatives
  762. 46:26of the 12 tribes of Israel, get 12 stones from the river
  763. 46:28and make a monument so that when the children,
  764. 46:31when the next generations ask, what was this about?
  765. 46:35Why are these monuments here?
  766. 46:36What the older generation would say is,
  767. 46:39let me tell you who God is and what he has done, right?
  768. 46:43As a memorial.
  769. 46:44Can Ham is saying, we live in a world where now,
  770. 46:48we are living that scripture,
  771. 46:50because what does it say in Judges chapter two,
  772. 46:52verse 10 to 12?
  773. 46:55It says, and there arose another generation after them
  774. 46:58who do not know the Lord or the work that he had done
  775. 47:00for Israel and the people of Israel did what was evil
  776. 47:04the sight of the Lord and served the bales. So today in the United States of America, we
  777. 47:10have allowed the next generation to be funneled through a system where they are taught atheism
  778. 47:15and anti-Christ everything. And we literally are seeing a generation who do not know the
  779. 47:21Lord. What are we going to do church? Are we going to continue to feed them to the bales?
  780. 47:25Are we going to continue to put them in the system?
  781. 47:27Let me explain something. When you say teaching atheism, teaching atheism does not require
  782. 47:32you to sit down and to provide didactic, uh,
  783. 47:36for sure.
  784. 47:37instruction concerning the details of atheistic learning.
  785. 47:40No, sometimes atheism is taught with a practical,
  786. 47:43intentional absence of Christ being centralized in the day to day
  787. 47:50conversations.
  788. 47:51We normalize Godlessness, which creates a generation of people who have
  789. 47:56been made comfortable, not considering God, his will, nor his word in every day.
