22. 1:36So either if you're making your transition from your part-time job to your full-time jobs,
23. 1:40or if you're heading over to the Darbonne Church of Christ, I want to encourage you to do so
24. 1:45with intentionality, understanding the primacy that God places on family and welcoming His
25. 1:53view to govern, garden, to guide your view.
26. 1:56And when you peel the onion, so to speak, you get down to brass taxes, where the rubber
27. 2:01meets the row, whatever other cliches or metaphors you want to employ, when you get right down
28. 2:06to it, the issue of our day is disciple making.
29. 2:10That is the issue.
30. 2:12The issue is disciple making.
31. 2:13Who is going to do it?
32. 2:15And in which direction or in which manner will the disciple making occur?
33. 2:20Because the way that God has created us, discipleship is a constant.
34. 2:24is not a question of if it's a question of who and how.
35. 2:29Much of what is befall in our society frankly
36. 2:31is the product of discipleship.
37. 2:35Through a combination of affirmative indoctrination,
38. 2:39as well as negligence, meaning a failure
39. 2:43to provide truth generationally.
40. 2:46Generationally.
41. 2:48There is such a consistent phenomenon
42. 2:51and you guys have experienced it.
43. 2:53many of you have experienced it to where you have people even,
44. 2:58they'll say, well, you know, are we raised our children
45. 2:59in the church and only to learn?
46. 3:02Yeah, they turned away and I can't tell you
47. 3:07how heartbroken I have been in studying and learning
48. 3:11and even hearing your stories of how voluntary familial
49. 3:17estrangement has just reeked, has wrought havoc in the law,
50. 3:23in the lives of people all across this country.
51. 3:26And by and large, there has been an anti-Christ indoctrination
52. 3:32and discipleship that's been happening in our country.
53. 3:35And I know it's easy to use the word anti-Christ
54. 3:38kind of in a broad sense,
55. 3:40but I don't mean it just as a general catch-all excuse.
56. 3:43I really mean it with intended purpose
57. 3:48because there has been a concerted effort,
58. 3:53advanced little by little step by step over time.
59. 3:58And we didn't just go to sleep and wake up one morning
60. 4:00and then, bam, transgenderism, that didn't happen.
61. 4:04It's been little by little step by step.
62. 4:09First, let's make it to be socially unacceptable
63. 4:14and to be indicative of a lack of intellectual acuity
64. 4:19for people to believe that God can create the entire
65. 4:24creation in six 24 hour days and rest on a seven day.
66. 4:27Let's make that, ah, I just know what you can believe that.
67. 4:31Because the first attack going all the way back to Genesis three
68. 4:36was attack on what?
69. 4:38The authority and applicability of God's word.
70. 4:42Did God surely say, you sure that's what God said?
71. 4:47Does that really make sense to you?
72. 4:50Not recognizing a we, asserting or dare I say,
73. 4:54exalting ourselves against the truth of God's Word.
74. 4:58And then when the authority and the applicability
75. 5:01of God's Word is in question, then that calls doubt
76. 5:08across the board, not realizing that if you can challenge,
77. 5:13effectively challenge the authority
78. 5:14and applicability of God's Word,
79. 5:16you can get people to reject their desperate need
80. 5:18for a savior.
81. 5:20And that's what we're dealing with.
82. 5:23But if we, the people of God will understand
83. 5:29that Jesus knew full well, our Lord knew full well,
84. 5:31what was coming, which is why he gave us a commission,
85. 5:33to go there for and make discipline learners,
86. 5:37make disciples of the way of Messiah,
87. 5:39teaching the disciples to obey everything
88. 5:43that Christ has commanded us.
89. 5:44And that being a matter of first priority.
90. 5:50And we start that in our homes,
91. 5:52and we work outwardly from there.
92. 5:55So as you're making your transition,
93. 5:56let's do so with that being,
94. 5:58our foremost investment, a life investment with the time
95. 6:01that God has afforded us in his world.
96. 6:03To the word of God we go.
97. 6:05This is gonna follow, or should I say go along,
98. 6:07coincide with what we've just been discussing.
99. 6:10John chapter 12 verses 9-3-11 is where I wanna go.
100. 6:13John chapter 12 verses 9-3-11.
101. 6:17Earlier this week we were talking about
102. 6:19the accountants scripture where Lazarus,
103. 6:21Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead.
104. 6:24And there was an immediate plot thereafter
105. 6:27by the Pharisees to kill Jesus.
106. 6:30Well, what you're gonna see, the scriptures show,
107. 6:32and what not only Jesus they were trying to kill.
108. 6:35So on the verses that proceed, verse nine,
109. 6:37in John chapter 12, the resurrected Lazarus
110. 6:41was kicking in Bethany, verses one through eight.
111. 6:45He's there, Mary's there, Jesus is there.
112. 6:49They're having dinner parties, if you will,
113. 6:52and crowds are amassing outside of the home
114. 6:56where Jesus and Lazarus and Mary and Martha,
115. 7:00where they all are.
116. 7:01And the scripture tells us, which you're gonna see,
117. 7:04that they came, many of them wanted to see Jesus.
118. 7:06Oh yes, yes you are, we wanna see him, but I don't know
119. 7:11if they were Jamaican, but may heard there be a dead
120. 7:13modern race back to life in there.
121. 7:15That was a terrible accident, I knew.
122. 7:17But may God see it anyway.
123. 7:20They heard that the resurrected Lazarus was in the house.
124. 7:24So people were coming because they wanted to see it.
125. 7:30Look at me, can you envision that?
126. 7:31Man, look down there on Fifth Street, 1735, Fifth Street.
127. 7:36Go five blocks to North, three blocks west, go there.
128. 7:39That's the man.
129. 7:41He's in there right now, having dinner.
130. 7:43Raised from the dead, my dude was in the tomb four days.
131. 7:46We thought when they rolled that stone away,
132. 7:50man, the stench is coming.
133. 7:54Old boy is in there eating dinner right now.
134. 7:56guys, that's what was happening. That's the backdrop in context for the verses that we have here. So
135. 8:01I'm going to read John chapter 12 verses 9 through 11. This is what the scripture says. When the large
136. 8:07crowd of the Jews learned that Jesus was there, they came not only on account of him, but also to see
137. 8:16Lazarus, whom he had raised from the dead. So the chief priests made plans to put Lazarus to death
138. 8:25also because on account of him, many of the Jews were going away and believing in Jesus.
139. 8:34So what you see here, as I mentioned to you already, previously the chief priests and the Pharisees
140. 8:39had already determined, man, we got to kill this Jesus. This is before we went to the cross,
141. 8:45this is the Pharisees saying we got to kill him. So when you see later the scandal of the
142. 8:53the illegal trial, the consorting with the Romans,
143. 8:59have Jesus put to death, that was really just,
144. 9:02I'm gonna say just, but that was really the fulfillment
145. 9:04of a conspiracy that had already started long before that.
146. 9:08Long before that many of the priests were saying
147. 9:10we gotta put this dude to death.
148. 9:11So it was kinda like, we wanna kill him,
149. 9:13we just need to get a justification for our murder.
150. 9:17But not only did they wanna kill Jesus
151. 9:20because what did they seek to protect?
152. 9:21The scripture tells us.
153. 9:23They wanted to keep people, keep Jews in particular from converting to becoming followers of the
154. 9:28way of Christ.
155. 9:30So the best way to do that is kill him.
156. 9:33Well, now you have an additional source of tangible evidence that he's no mere man.
157. 9:39He's truly God and truly man because the man who he raised from the dead is sitting right
158. 9:44there next to him at dinner.
159. 9:48So they confect the plot to kill Lazarus too.
160. 9:52Why did he want to kill Lazarus?
161. 9:53Because Lazarus served as potent evidence, exhibit A evidence that Jesus was exactly who
162. 10:01he said he was.
163. 10:04Now it's interesting that the Scriptures tell us very plainly that the, I would argue the
164. 10:09demonically inspired anti-Christ scheme was not interested at all in truth.
165. 10:20Now I don't want to paint overly broad with an overly broad brush.
166. 10:23There were many Pharisees that came to Christ.
167. 10:26you know, Nicodemus is one, right?
168. 10:28Christmas is another,
169. 10:30Sosenees is another,
170. 10:31there were many Pharisees that came with Christ.
171. 10:35Paul is another, right?
172. 10:37But the general overarching position of the Pharisees
173. 10:41in the high priest in particular,
174. 10:43the chief priest in particular was Antichrist.
175. 10:46And so the plot to kill Jesus first
176. 10:48and then to kill Lazarus as well
177. 10:50is because they were not interested
178. 10:52in whether or not Jesus could in fact truly be Messiah.
179. 10:55They were not interested in, well, could this be true, we?
180. 10:58We've had a lot of good teachers.
181. 11:00I mean, Gamelio was a beast to teach.
182. 11:03We even had in our nation's history amazing prophets.
183. 11:08But nobody who's claimed to be Messiah predicted,
184. 11:11predicted his own death and resurrection
185. 11:12and has demonstrated the power
186. 11:14while claiming to be God to raise from the dead.
187. 11:17Even if we had prophets who participated
188. 11:20in resurrections like Elijah, he never claimed to be God.
189. 11:23Yet this cat is claiming to be God.
190. 11:26They were not interested in learning whether or not that,
191. 11:30whether it was true.
192. 11:31So what you see here are evil doers who sought to advance
193. 11:36their agenda, not by reason and persuasion
194. 11:41and logical articulation and rationality employed,
195. 11:44no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
196. 11:47they sought to advance their agenda
197. 11:51by employing violence to shut up their opposition.
198. 11:56This is why you see consistently,
199. 11:58The advocates for things like censorship are people who recognize that they are incapable
200. 12:08of winning the day through reason and persuasion.
201. 12:10You know what I mean?
202. 12:16They want us to just shut up their opposition.
203. 12:18That's why everywhere from Mao's China to Pol Pot to Hitler to Stalin to Mussolini.
204. 12:31When you go down the line these people didn't allow dissent. Oh no no no no does the dehoo
205. 12:38Descent with that's what the Supreme Court writers right? No, they're not allowing countervailing opinions. They're they're going to
206. 12:46Enforce their hegemony by just that force
207. 12:49You see the same thing happening in our country
208. 12:52We we experience this during the schmovid debacle, you know
209. 12:58We can't allow people to have an opinion different than Anthony Fauci
210. 13:03So what we need to do is shut down
211. 13:05anybody who's saying something different.

214. 13:15What I want you to see is that it's not,
215. 13:18because sometimes when we think about,
216. 13:19we use political terminology,
217. 13:21we can often lose our tether to the fact
218. 13:28that no, that's real evil afoot.
219. 13:30The desire to assert one's agenda
220. 13:33by shutting up your opposition is a desire
221. 13:36that comes from hell,
222. 13:37that comes from the fumes of hell.
223. 13:39It's a demonic desire.
224. 13:43It's a demonic desire.
225. 13:45And this is why you see more and more people,
226. 13:47you know, a lot of regressives, surveys out later,
227. 13:50who they think, well, yeah, you can use violence
228. 13:53to protect yourself from hate speech.
229. 13:54It says, what, what?
230. 13:57Guys, that's because that ideology
231. 13:59comes from the fumes of hell.
232. 14:02I also want you to know that this is why many of you
233. 14:05are facing such strong opposition right now.
234. 14:08is very similar to the reason why the plot was
235. 14:11confected to kill Lazarus.
236. 14:14Why?
237. 14:15Because you're tangible evidence of what Jesus says is true.
238. 14:20So the opposition cannot overcome the evidence.
239. 14:26So now we have to destroy the evidence.
240. 14:29Tale as old as time.
241. 14:35But we have no need to lose heart because Jesus
242. 14:38has not allowed us to be ignorant to Satan's devices.
243. 14:44We have been given a privilege and the mandate to contend for the faith that has been once
244. 14:50and for all passed down to the saints.
245. 14:52We've been ordained for this moment.

277. 16:48I was saying you just causing trouble all over the world.

281. 16:58Well, I was going to say it's a good thing.
282. 17:01It's a good thing because I know you,
283. 17:03when I know your commitment to Christ
284. 17:05and your adherence to a biblical worldview,
285. 17:08so that agitation is welcome.
286. 17:10We love it, we need more of it.
287. 17:12Now, what I'm talking about in particular is that you and your
288. 17:15that you and your lovely wife co-authored
289. 17:17a set of books a while ago.
290. 17:19He is he and she is she.
291. 17:21We talked about it here in the program,
292. 17:23several, many of our listeners have been made aware
293. 17:26of what you're doing.
294. 17:27You have it right there if you're watching the show.
295. 17:28Those are the two books that I'm talking about.
296. 17:31They're children's books that are animated children's books.
297. 17:33For those who may not be aware of them, Ryan,
298. 17:36what are those books about he is he and she is she?
299. 17:40And why did you and Bethany write and publish them?
300. 17:44They are about God's biological design for us.
301. 17:47I mean, he made us male and female,
302. 17:49as obviously as Genesis says.
303. 17:50And so living in Loudoun County, Virginia,
304. 17:54my wife and I decided, hey, let's take on the pronouns.
305. 17:57So that's why we came up with he, as he and she, as she.
306. 17:59And the books just celebrate beautiful biological her
307. 18:02and adorable, lovable him.
308. 18:04And it just celebrates what it means to be a girl,
309. 18:06what it means to be boy
310. 18:07and celebrates motherhood and fatherhood.
311. 18:09That's what it is in a nutshell.
312. 18:11Shouldn't be controversial, but it's 2026 people.
313. 18:14man and they're beautifully illustrated for those who may not have them yet.

320. 18:37this foundational fundamental truth because the deception of our society, um,
321. 18:43is so ubiquitous. Now, another question, I don't know if you can answer this one or not,

323. 18:52Because she might need to be reminded. She could benefit. I mean, who knew that we would have a
324. 18:58justice who couldn't, you know, define what a woman is, but that would be great. I should,
325. 19:04I'm in DC often, I should just drop by the Supreme Court and offer to, I don't even know how that
326. 19:09that works.
327. 19:10How do you get something to adjust this?
328. 19:11I don't.
329. 19:12So the answer to that is I don't.

331. 19:14I think I can help you figure that out.
332. 19:16I know how you can get it to her because she, her,
333. 19:19you know what I said, get it to her.
334. 19:21Mm-hmm.
335. 19:22Because she's clearly ambiguity.
336. 19:24No ambiguity at all.
337. 19:26Now, I asked you to join me on the show today
338. 19:28because, you know, I monitored the courts in our country
339. 19:31for a little bit and I came across this one case
340. 19:34in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals
341. 19:36and it had to do with a gentleman who's a teacher
342. 19:39in the Oregon Public Schools,
343. 19:40his name is Roderick E. Tyson II.
344. 19:44No, Roddy Rod had the audacity, the audacity,
345. 19:49to allow children in the school to read your books.
346. 19:53Would you explain a little bit about what's going on
347. 19:55with that case for our audience here
348. 19:56to bring them up to speed as it was transferred
349. 19:59in our country?
350. 20:00Look, every teacher and employee in that school system,
351. 20:03Rod Tyson is a licensed clinical social worker,
352. 20:06and he works for Intermountain Education Service District,
353. 20:10which serves a number of school districts there in Oregon.
354. 20:13So like other teachers and other colleagues,
355. 20:17they get to decorate their classroom,
356. 20:19they get to decorate their offices,
357. 20:20they get to put things in there that reflect who they are,
358. 20:23and that's what he did.
359. 20:24Other people put in Black Lives Matter
360. 20:27and anti-ice posters and pro-Palestinian posters
361. 20:33and LGBTQ DEI stuff, all that kind of stuff.
362. 20:36So he was putting in something
363. 20:39that simply just reinforced what is actually taught
364. 20:43in the schools, actually taught in their science classes.
365. 20:46They teach binary biological gender.
366. 20:48And so he displayed the books behind his desk.
367. 20:51He was not reading them to students.
368. 20:53He actually didn't read them at all.
369. 20:54There's one teacher who complained, one colleague
370. 20:57who complained.
371. 20:58And what she did is she sent into eighth graders
372. 21:01pretending to want to read the book.
373. 21:04And Rod hadn't read the books.
374. 21:05It was just the offense was the covers.
375. 21:08and he had gone through months and months of harassment,
376. 21:10interrogation, all kinds of meetings,
377. 21:12told that he was acting in a hostile manner,
378. 21:15that the books had an animus towards certain parts
379. 21:18of the community, they weren't inclusive,
380. 21:20I mean, he went through months and months of that.
381. 21:21So all of a sudden these eighth graders come in
382. 21:23to his classroom, asked to read the books,
383. 21:25and they kept pressuring, it was intense pressuring,
384. 21:28he was uncomfortably, he was okay, I guess you can read the books.
385. 21:31And so they read them out loud,
386. 21:32the teacher who, or the colleague who filed the complaint,
387. 21:36was recording the eighth graders doing this.
388. 21:40Then he gets fired.
389. 21:41ADF took his case and now went to the ninth circuit
390. 21:47and we have this insane ruling two to one saying
391. 21:50that expressing biological facts is not protected speech.
392. 21:59That's where we are.
393. 22:00I'm laughing, that because this is funny.
394. 22:02This is absurd.
395. 22:05You know, before you came on the air was talking about John 12,
396. 22:09verses 9-3-11 when after Lazarus was resurrected,
397. 22:14he was having dinner with Mary, Martha, and Jesus,
398. 22:17and they're having basically a dinner party,
399. 22:19and crowds started to amass us outside their home
400. 22:22because Jesus was present, yes,
401. 22:24but a lot of the Jews wanted to see Lazarus, you know,
402. 22:27and that was followed by a plot to not only kill Jesus,
403. 22:31but to kill Lazarus too, you know,
404. 22:33because Lazarus was evidence, exhibit A,
405. 22:37that what Jesus claimed was actually true.
406. 22:41And one of the points that I made
407. 22:43is that demonic schemes often include a conspiracy
408. 22:49to murder the evidence of truth.
409. 22:54And I see this happening now.
410. 22:55I mean, wouldn't this come from the same crowd
411. 22:57of people to say that we're against book bands?
412. 23:00They're not against book bands, they are the book banners.
413. 23:03In fact, I don't remember the author, but he wrote this extensively researched article
414. 23:09that detailed the book banning across the country and he found irrefutably that the books that
415. 23:16were banned were those of conservative and Christian artists.
416. 23:19Those were the books that were largely being banned.
417. 23:21When the other side talks about book banning, what they mean is they find it offensive that
418. 23:26a parent doesn't want porn and pedophilia peddled in their elementary school, middle school,
419. 23:33high school, that's what they're talking about, inappropriate content that doesn't belong in
420. 23:36school.
421. 23:37It's not that people can't access it, it's not that they're banned, there's not some book
422. 23:41burning, but these books are actually being banned.
423. 23:45And that's the insanity of this whole thing, that books that are reinforcing what is being
424. 23:50taught in the schools from a scientific perspective are somehow too controversial that they create
425. 23:56in a hostile environment and aren't inclusive.
426. 23:59The insanity about that too is that how is a book,
427. 24:03I mean, over 90% of Americans
428. 24:05identify as self-identify according to Gallup
429. 24:08as heterosexual.
430. 24:10How is it not inclusive when you're actually including
431. 24:12the vast majority of Americans who identify
432. 24:15a particular way, but somehow a book
433. 24:18that's culturally diverse,
434. 24:20there's a color diversity in these books,
435. 24:22that somehow is not inclusive.
436. 24:26That's how the school approached it
437. 24:29And that's why they were incredibly hostile to Rod Tice prior to him being fired.
438. 24:33And of course, what led to the fire itself.
439. 24:36And now just to kind of run out reiterate some of the facts you mentioned that
440. 24:41Rod Tice just had the books in his classroom.
441. 24:43He didn't informally require anybody to read them.
442. 24:45He wasn't reading them to anybody, but he was approached by two eighth graders
443. 24:49that just so happened to coincidentally request to read the books out loud while
444. 24:54one teacher, one complaining teacher just so happened to be recorded.
445. 24:59Now, I'm sure that that is just a coincidence.
446. 25:03The surely, Rod Tice's colleague didn't set him up to set the stage for his ultimate harassment
447. 25:09and later ultimately even termination.
448. 25:11Right.
449. 25:12I mean, it was a complete setup.
450. 25:13And I just knew who to clarify something.
451. 25:15Rod Tice does not actually have a classroom.
452. 25:17He has an office.
453. 25:18He has two different offices in two different schools.
454. 25:21So it was an office.
455. 25:22Whereas in a classroom, these teachers are putting up all kinds of political propaganda
456. 25:28all the time and propaganda that's actually in contradiction to what they're teaching in their
457. 25:34English classes as far as pronouns and gender and in their science classes. So why aren't they held to
458. 25:40that same standard? Man, you know, it makes me think, and I forgot the professor's name, but he was a
459. 25:45professor at a university in San Antonio, Texas, and he was teaching biology, and he was literally
460. 25:52teaching the biological chromosomal makeup of humankind,
461. 25:57and the university fired him.
462. 25:59They fired him for teaching that.
463. 26:01And it's like, this is literally a science class.
464. 26:03This was not just in another class,
465. 26:06in the same class that he taught there for like,
466. 26:08well over a decade.
467. 26:10But they fired him for it,
468. 26:11because the reality is, though the science confirms
469. 26:14the truth, everything else.
470. 26:16So see, the social network, the social system of the school,
471. 26:21It's contradicting that which is why they fired Rod Tikes.
472. 26:25Now you mentioned before that the rationale of the court in this because man,
473. 26:32I'm sick and tired of the insanity coming from the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
474. 26:37But for the court to say that, wait a minute, having these books and these children read them
475. 26:44of their own request, that's another thing, in his office, is not protected speech by the first
476. 26:50amendment? Like this is crazy. Would you share a little bit about the lunacy and the ruling
477. 26:58as best as you can concerning what the Ninth Circuit ruled in this case?
478. 27:02Sure thing. Actually, I want to read one sentence from the ruling. Again, it was a 2-1 decision,
479. 27:07but it says here, no court has found that teachers, First Amendment rights extended choosing their own
480. 27:14curriculum or classroom management techniques in contravention of school policy or dictates.
481. 27:20here, and this is one of the things they held against him, that he was actually providing
482. 27:25a different curriculum.
483. 27:26How is he providing a curriculum by having images?
484. 27:29I mean, he, the teacher who filed the complaint, by the way, I'm holding this book up again,
485. 27:33who filed the complaint, never actually read the book.
486. 27:36She was, or he, actually I'm not sure if it's a she or he, maybe that person's not even
487. 27:40aware whether he's a he or she anyway, that wouldn't be surprising.
488. 27:45But he is he.
489. 27:47This is what offended.
490. 27:49And this is my son, Justice, by the way.
491. 27:52He's not offensive at all.
492. 27:54But didn't read the content of the book, but here you have this statement made.
493. 27:59He, what actually, and they were saying that he was doing this in contradiction to the curriculum
494. 28:04that was decided.
495. 28:05Actually, he was reinforcing the curriculum that was decided in these schools.
496. 28:11So there again, one of many false assertions in this ruling that is deeply troubling, but
497. 28:17it goes deeper.
498. 28:19If you have, if you're a teacher or you're a public education specialist in these schools,
499. 28:27what this court is saying is everything that comes out of your mouth is government speech.
500. 28:31That's not true.
501. 28:33I mean, if a student asks you a question for instance about your faith, you're muzzled,
502. 28:38you're not allowed to answer the question.
503. 28:40I know it's a different thing to actually bring up the subject, but if a student asks you,
504. 28:45everything that comes out of your mouth is government speech.
505. 28:48Everything that these other teachers are adorning their offices and classrooms with, that's government
506. 28:52speech.
507. 28:53When they say government, the same government that's gives us in the first amendment, our
508. 28:57free speech does not say, oh, only certain government employees.
509. 29:01No.
510. 29:02This is the problem.
511. 29:03And this is why I believe strongly that appealing to the Supreme Court.
512. 29:07I know they've had difficulty in trying to figure this out. Oh, the other thing that the distortion was the Kennedy case
513. 29:12The coach who prayed during goes jogging the games in Britain. Yeah
514. 29:17They distorted that whole decision from the Supreme Court saying that that was not public that was a
515. 29:22Private and personal sort of thing. That's it was not private in personal. Yes, it was if they are blind
516. 29:27Yes in front of everyone. It was still during the course of his duties. Yes, so
517. 29:32So they distorted that too saying that no, this was private and personal, it wasn't in
518. 29:38the carrying out his duties.
519. 29:41It was exactly in the carrying out of his duties.
520. 29:44And so if the Supreme Court actually accepts this, hopefully they can reverse this.
521. 29:49The problem is this covers, people don't realize the 9th Circuit and these Circuit Courts, they
522. 29:53cover wide areas.
523. 29:54You've got Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Arizona, Idaho, Montana, Alaska, Hawaii.
524. 30:00I don't think I've missed any.
525. 30:02That's who it covers the largest circuit in the appellate system in our country. Yeah, I mean if that's not gonna strike fear in other
526. 30:11Teachers, I mean you already have a lack of courage
527. 30:14I'm just gonna say this because I witnessed this in Loudoun County, Virginia a lack of teachers Christian teachers
528. 30:20Standing up for their fellow teachers when Tanner crossed stood up against the the school here for policy 8040
529. 30:26Which was a pro transgender anti-parent policy
530. 30:29He stood with maybe three other teachers.
531. 30:33I mean, that was it.
532. 30:35But if this ruling have such a chilling effect
533. 30:38on free speech and on the ability to actually be someone
534. 30:43who has the First Amendment afforded to them,
535. 30:45because government employees don't lose their constitutional
536. 30:48rights when they step on the taxpayer funded property.
537. 30:51Man, I want to come back to Tana Cross in a moment,
538. 30:54but I think it's important to point out that this is the same
539. 30:57circuit that got the coach Joe Kennedy case wrong when the case came to them originally
540. 31:02before the Supreme Court reversed them previously.
541. 31:05So it doesn't surprise me that they pervert the Supreme Court's ruling in the coach Kennedy
542. 31:12case because they're the ones who ruled in the wrong way previously when the case was
543. 31:16before them, right?
544. 31:18Exactly.
545. 31:19Exactly.
546. 31:20So they must have been going off of their initial ruling.
547. 31:23like yours is invalid.
548. 31:25Yours doesn't hold any weight.
549. 31:28And I know our friends at ADF,
550. 31:29for those who don't know what's in line,
551. 31:30is defending freedom, who are representing Rottice.
552. 31:34Thank God for them for taking this up.
553. 31:37I'm pretty sure they're gonna be all over the fact
554. 31:39that they may very well be attempting
555. 31:41the two judges of the three-judge panel,
556. 31:43attempting to kind of force into this case
557. 31:47their wrong rationale concerning the Coase Jocannity case
558. 31:50that the Supreme Court's ultimately reversed,
559. 31:52which would likely may very well likely lead
560. 31:56to the Supreme Court reversing them again in this place.
561. 32:02Well, that's the disrespect for music.
562. 32:04I pause because I had this needs.
563. 32:05I'm sorry.
564. 32:06The disrespectful music here,
565. 32:08I want to revisit the Tanner Cross case
566. 32:10that was right in your own backyard
567. 32:12when we come back on the other side of the break

584. 33:48Ryan Baumburger and we're discussing really just this egregious ruling out of
585. 33:53the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals concerning Rod Tice II. Like saying that,
586. 33:59you know, I like to. Rod Tice II, who is a licensed clinical social worker, he just
587. 34:05had the he and she and she books on display in his office was basically set up
588. 34:10by a colleague who dispatched to eighth graders
589. 34:14to read the books out loud.
590. 34:15I'm sure, I mean, that's what 12 and 13 years do.
591. 34:17Can I, can I, Mr. Tice, can I see that book?
592. 34:20And then, and I turned the page and now he was he.
593. 34:23I'm sure that's what the children do all the time, right?
594. 34:26And it just so happened to be recorded
595. 34:28by the one teacher who complained
596. 34:31that Mr. Tice had the books on his shelf.
597. 34:34It's just, it's frankly disgusting.
598. 34:37And that's what we were talking about that.
599. 34:39You mentioned the case right in your own backyard
600. 34:42with Tanner Cross, that happens a little while back
601. 34:45in Loudoun County, and some may not remember that case,
602. 34:48but I certainly do, and I think it's appropriate
603. 34:51to bring it up as we're discussing Rod Ticis case currently
604. 34:55before the Ninth Circuit, which I'm almost positive.
605. 34:58I'm almost 100% certain that Alliance of Indian Freedom
606. 35:01will appeal this to the Supreme Court.
607. 35:04Well, the Supreme Court has to answer the question,
608. 35:07Just, they created the problem when they decided that the Civil Rights Act, when it referred
609. 35:16to sex, it was gorsage.
610. 35:20Yes, gorsage.
611. 35:21Yes, gorsage.
612. 35:22Yes, he's the one who sided with those who said that, yeah, sex included gender identity
613. 35:30and sexual orientation, gender identity.
614. 35:32That's for me what started so much of this.
615. 35:35So you got the public schools that are deep way in over their heads as far as swimming
616. 35:42in the pools of LGBTQ plus, plus, plus, plus, plus.
617. 35:46And when it comes to gender confusion, in Loudon County, they have a policy 8040 that basically
618. 35:50says if a girl wants to be called a boy, teacher must call him a boy or vice versa.
619. 35:56If the boy wants to be called a girl, they have to buy that Tanner Cross who has now become
620. 36:00a friend of mine, dared to actually speak at a school board meeting in Loudon County and
621. 36:05I said, look, I love my students too much to call a boy,
622. 36:07a girl and a girl, a boy, I just can't do this.
623. 36:09It's lying to them and it's a sin,
624. 36:12because I just can't do that.
625. 36:14And so he was relieved,
626. 36:16he was put on administratively the very next day.
627. 36:20Well, it took several courts
628. 36:22and then it got to the Virginia Supreme Court
629. 36:24and they reinstated his job.
630. 36:26I mean, the fact that you have to be reinstated
631. 36:30for a physical education teacher, that's his role.
632. 36:33He studied biology.
633. 36:35He knows this stuff.
634. 36:37For him to have to get his job back
635. 36:39by a Supreme Court in the state is just insane.
636. 36:44Unfortunately, Loudon County Public Schools
637. 36:47and many public schools all across the country
638. 36:49not only are instituting these gender confusion,
639. 36:53gender attacking policies and also parent severing,
640. 36:58you know, child parent severing policies,
641. 37:01They are ignoring the recent Supreme Court ruling on Title IX.
642. 37:05The Supreme Court, ah, they used the wrong word where they said schools may create these
643. 37:13policies.
644. 37:14They should have said schools shall because they have to abide.
645. 37:18How do you get a taxpayer-funded entity to abide by the law?
646. 37:24You don't say, well, you can create this or you may create this.
647. 37:27No, you shall.
648. 37:29where they Supreme Court aired. But of course, Loudoun County, Fairfax County, and several other
649. 37:33counties in our state are ignoring it and many others from coast to coast. And it's creating
650. 37:40this kind of problem. Tanner Cross was part of that collateral damage because he was one
651. 37:47of the few teachers who was courageous enough to stand up.
652. 37:52And that deficiency or deficit encourage is something that is not limited to the educational
653. 37:58arena, but we're really we're seeing it all around across the
654. 38:03border in our society, which again, going back to John 12,
655. 38:06that that's the whole purpose of this kind of, sinceurious or
656. 38:11totalitarian disposition to where you not only want to stop the
657. 38:14immediate provocateur, but you also want to sit on kind of a
658. 38:17chilling effect on any others who might be willing to step up
659. 38:22and to say something that would contravene the prevailing
660. 38:26notions that seek to be established as standard.
661. 38:29But what does the Lord require of us
662. 38:32who profess to be his children,
663. 38:34who are armed with his word and are indwelled by his spirit?
664. 38:41He expects us to speak the truth.
665. 38:43He expects us to, I mean, we're supposed to go
666. 38:45into all the world and preach the gospel.
667. 38:47What is the gospel?
668. 38:47It is truth.
669. 38:49It is truth about the entire human condition.
670. 38:51And if we're not willing to speak up,
671. 38:53speak the truth into areas of God-given design.
672. 38:59I mean, when we talk about identity, that's everything.
673. 39:03How God designed us and why He designed us,
674. 39:06how He designed us and how that's to be carried out.
675. 39:10And also the fact that we're not even moving many Christians,
676. 39:13not even move to protect young children.
677. 39:16We're talking about irreversible damage
678. 39:18being done to these young children,
679. 39:20not just because of the puberty blockers
680. 39:23and the body mutilating surgeries,
681. 39:26which now are being pushed on these young children,
682. 39:29but because of the mindset,
683. 39:30because first and foremost, their spirit.
684. 39:34We are too, especially as a parent,
685. 39:37I'm to guard my children, not just physically,
686. 39:40most important spiritually.
687. 39:42And so many Christians have abdicated
688. 39:44their responsibility and their role in this.
689. 39:46They give it up to the school, they give it up to media,
690. 39:49they give it up to sports, they give it up to,
691. 39:51It's like when Jesus said,
692. 39:52we're under diseases, what are Caesars?
693. 39:53What is, what belongs to Caesars?
694. 39:57Our children don't belong to Caesars.
695. 39:58Amen.
696. 39:59Our children's spiritual lives don't belong to Caesars.
697. 40:01Our children's bodies certainly don't belong to Caesars.
698. 40:04And yet so many Christian parents are willing to do that,
699. 40:07either by their direct action
700. 40:10or by their complicit nature, their apathy.
701. 40:14It's heartbreaking.
702. 40:17That's why when I talk about being a agitator,
703. 40:18I mean, I'm agitating because I do it out of love, you know.
704. 40:23We're motivated to love, love rejoices in the truth.
705. 40:27And that's why I agitate.
706. 40:30That's why there are many others that I work with who are agitators, who are factivists
707. 40:34like I am, because they understand what our calling is.
708. 40:41We are to preach the gospel, yes, we are to save souls.
709. 40:44In that process, we also have to, I mean,
710. 40:47Proverbs 31, 8 through 9 comes to mind.
711. 40:49I mean, we're the voice for the voiceless,
712. 40:51ensuring justice for those being crushed.
713. 40:53Yeah. Literally being crushed.
714. 40:55Yeah, and the great commission is to make disciples
715. 41:00and that deficiency encouraged, man, it's rife.
716. 41:05It's rife all over our country.
717. 41:07And there were many, and I see this case as one of the examples
718. 41:10to show that that is not true.
719. 41:11There are many who are saying, well, you know,
720. 41:13quote-unquote, woke is done and all that's over with it.
721. 41:15I'm just like, whoa.
722. 41:17When you say those kind of things,
723. 41:18it shows that there's potentially an ignorance
724. 41:21as to the nature of evil.
725. 41:23Like it doesn't stop.
726. 41:25It doesn't just say, oh, lost that one.
727. 41:27Guess how I'll go and go hiking?
728. 41:29You know, that's not how it works.
729. 41:33It doesn't at all.
730. 41:34Because reality is discipleship with the constant.
731. 41:37There's a lot you mentioned that complicity often
732. 41:39is a result of apathy.
733. 41:41you know, that what we allow is reflective of what we also embrace and believe.
734. 41:47Not only what we are affirmatively representing, but what we passively, and I would argue,
735. 41:52negligently, allow speaks to that as well.
736. 41:55But in terms of the idea that, you know, the era of work is over,
737. 42:00what would you say to somebody would say, oh, Ryan, why are you making a big deal of all of this stuff?
738. 42:06You know, Trump was elected,
739. 42:09And those things are, are passae.
740. 42:11What would you say to a person who would say that to you?
741. 42:14Okay, well, Trump is not Jesus, no matter the AI renderings that are released.
742. 42:21He is not our savior, only Christ is our savior.
743. 42:24And you're right, evil doesn't, I mean, evil is relentless.
744. 42:29It never sleeps.
745. 42:30Thankfully, God and His goodness are even more powerful.
746. 42:35But we, we have to be forever vigilant.
747. 42:37I mean, for people to say, you know,
748. 42:39woke is dead and all these, you know, corporate America,
749. 42:42they've now separated from them.
750. 42:45They just changed the names and they just wait.
751. 42:47That's what evil likes to do.
752. 42:48Just like this is lay low for a little bit.
753. 42:50And then all of a sudden we'll re-emerge
754. 42:53and we'll call it something on social-emotional learning.
755. 42:55Yeah. That's what they call it in elementary schools.
756. 42:57It's the same garbage.
757. 42:59It's the same critical race theory,
758. 43:00which critical race theory isn't the beginning of.
759. 43:03Evil has existed in all kinds of forms and separation
760. 43:06and trying to pretend that the word of God
761. 43:10isn't the answer and the remedy for humankind's ails.
762. 43:14I mean, critical race theory is nothing new.
763. 43:16It's just, it's a rebrand of evil from way back one.
764. 43:20And so it really frustrates me because it allows Christians,
765. 43:24the false sense of confidence that they've done it.
766. 43:27We've done our job.
767. 43:28And like you said with discipleship,
768. 43:30my kids are 21, 18, 17, and 15.
769. 43:34The discipleship never ends.
770. 43:36It may take on different forms and different tactics,
771. 43:39but it never ends because Satan is constantly seeking
772. 43:42to devour.
773. 43:43He does not take time off.
774. 43:46And we as Christians can't take time off either.
775. 43:49Amen.
776. 43:50I mean, it is not our place
777. 43:57to be perpetually on defense.
778. 43:59We have got to assert affirmative
779. 44:02right what it is we're seeking to pursue.
780. 44:04I've been talking a lot recently about
781. 44:06with the ascendancy of things like the democratic socialists
782. 44:09of America and all of the things that are happening
783. 44:12because there has been a chasm that's created
784. 44:14that has allowed the messages of the DSA
785. 44:17to be attractive to a segment of our society.
786. 44:20And I've said it's not enough for us to highlight
787. 44:24the historical evidences that the facts are Marxism
788. 44:28wherever it's been embraced has bred death,
789. 44:31poverty and destruction.
790. 44:32Every single touch, absolutely right.
791. 44:36But it's not enough for us to say that
792. 44:37without offering a clear affirmative vision
793. 44:40for what we should pursue.
794. 44:41Not merely what we are resisting and opposed to,
795. 44:44but what are we affirmatively pursuing?
796. 44:47And that needs to be, even the more fervently
797. 44:50and passionately communicated.
798. 44:53What do you say in light of that,
799. 44:55especially with the example like the DSA,
800. 44:58getting more and more popularity?
801. 44:59the Democrat nominee for the US Senate seat in Michigan just this week is a close fellow
802. 45:06and close friend and fellow with a son piker in all of the DSA people are you saying I'm
803. 45:11not a Marxist but all my friends just happen to be Marxist islamist but I'm not one right
804. 45:18sure sure you're not so they depend on on ignorance and what better way to be able to
805. 45:23do the population than to dumb them down on our public schools because that's what keeps
806. 45:27happening. That's why these these scores that keep falling. This is not this is not unintentional.
807. 45:33I mean, there is there is a reason why and not having a grasp of history allows people like the
808. 45:39the democratic socialists of America, the the communists of America to pretend that history
809. 45:46doesn't matter and they can just make up stuff like when you heard AOC talking about the Senate
810. 45:50was created by Jim Crow. Well, the Senate was formed I believe in 1789. Jim Crow laws and black
811. 45:56Blackcoats, 1877 is when that emerged.
812. 45:58So no, the Senate was not created by Jim Crow,
813. 46:01but when you have no understanding of history
814. 46:04and you're prone to just reacting to,
815. 46:07oh, well it's racism, Jim Crow, that's horrible.
816. 46:10Well, of course you brought us Jim Crow,
817. 46:11you can thank the Democratic Party.
818. 46:13Of course you wouldn't know that from the Black Smithsonian,
819. 46:16the African American Museum of History and Culture.
820. 46:18I just went to that a few days ago and you would never know,
821. 46:22it was almost like there weren't two parties involved
822. 46:24in the abolition of slavery.
823. 46:26But DSA, they depend on the total ignorance of the past
824. 46:32so that they can rewrite the present.
825. 46:35And for people who wanna give up on capitalism
826. 46:37as an economic theory, it's absolutely insane.
827. 46:41But it's because we have abandoned,
828. 46:44like what I have on my shirt,
829. 46:45we have abandoned basic truths.
830. 46:48We've abandoned basic truths about ourselves.
831. 46:50And it's so much, if you can confuse people
832. 46:53get them to just disregard who were created to be.
833. 46:58Everything else is easy.
834. 47:00And that's why they've had such a stranglehold
835. 47:04because we have a spiritual crisis going on in this country.
836. 47:08Yes, we have an education crisis,
837. 47:11but more importantly, we have a spiritual crisis
838. 47:13which is allowing these openings
839. 47:16and for people to embrace such destructive lies.
840. 47:19I can't even believe, I cannot believe we're facing this.
841. 47:23in 2026. And I'll tell you what, the conservatives who are laughing this off, I hope AOC runs
842. 47:28and I, yo, let the DSA run. You guys are ignorant. You don't even see that evil is right at the
843. 47:34gate and the gate's been blown down. Man, I'm an optimist though. I am an optimist because
844. 47:43I do believe that Christians can turn this around. And it is only Christians that will
845. 47:48be able to turn this around to influence those in power, including Trump, to be making better
846. 47:53decision, including our other elected leaders. So I am hopeful. I'm not a doom and gloom,
847. 47:58but my word, wake up people, wake up. What is the core of your hope? You say you're not
848. 48:03optimistic and you have hope. What's the core of that? Jesus. I mean, that's the only. That's
849. 48:11he is the reason for hope. He is the reason for the confidence that we can shift culture,
850. 48:19that we as a praying nation,
851. 48:21I mean, my people call by my name,
852. 48:22will humble themselves and pray.
853. 48:26Oh my word, pray.
854. 48:28That's the only, I do that as a father.
855. 48:30I'm praying every day for my wife and for my kiddos.
856. 48:33That is the battleground.
857. 48:36Jesus is the core.
858. 48:37Jesus is the hope and that's my only hope.
