  9. 0:26Let's not miss our moment.
  10. 0:28And now the Hamilton Corner.
  11. 0:31Good evening everyone.
  12. 0:34Welcome to the Hamilton Corner.
  13. 0:36Abraham Hamilton III here.
  14. 0:37I'm the host of this program joined by the Corner contingent right across from me, my
  15. 0:43man, 100 grand.
  16. 0:45Mr. Bobby, and in the screening room, produced extraordinaire often imitated but never duplicated
  17. 0:54the real J. Mac.
  18. 0:56and gentlemen, and we are ready to rock and roll with today's edition of the program at
  19. 1:02this very moment to many of you, if not most of you, are making your transition from your
  20. 1:07part-time jobs where you generate an income to your full-time job where you cultivate
  21. 1:11an outcome.
  22. 1:12And as you do so, I want to remind you to do so with intentionality, understanding the
  23. 1:18primacy that God places on the family.
  24. 1:21I also pray that you enjoyed a wonderful day celebrating our Lord's resurrection, which is
  25. 1:27the defining moment in all of human history, not least to mention Christian history.
  26. 1:35The resurrection is the linchpin of all things concerning Christ as the Apostle Paul, so appropriately
  27. 1:43put it that if Christ is not raised and we are still dead and our trespasses and sins,
  28. 1:49but he continues on in 1 Corinthians 15 to say,
  29. 1:52but he is raised, he is risen.
  30. 1:55Glory be to his wonderful name.
  31. 1:57As I've said before, I will continue to say my prayer
  32. 2:01for the body of Christ is that our Lord's resurrection
  33. 2:05is not something that we limit to be celebrated
  34. 2:07on during Passover in April,
  35. 2:13but that it is what animates our living day by day,
  36. 2:18day that we live life in light of our King's resurrection and anticipation of his return.
  37. 2:27And one of the major features of that is recognizing that the first institution that our God created
  38. 2:34was the family with marriage at the center.
  39. 2:37It's not a coincidence that the only human institution illustrative of Christ in his church
  40. 2:44recorded in the scripture is the marital union.
  41. 2:48And the Marotu Union is the foundation for the family.
  42. 2:52It's also not a surprise that the primary institution responsible for the generational investment in
  43. 3:00building God's kingdom is the family with a husband and a father, a man joined to his
  44. 3:07wife with the command to be fruitful and to multiply.
  45. 3:14That fruitfulness and multiplication was not merely meant to be a biological reality, was
  46. 3:19also meant to be a spiritual reality that follows the creation order of everything reproducing
  47. 3:24after its own kind.
  48. 3:26The kind that mankind was commanded to reproduce was the kind of mankind that walked with our
  49. 3:34God in the cool of the day, that were joined in relationship and the type of intimacy that
  50. 3:47provoked any straying or any interruption and an intimacy that provoked the question,
  51. 3:52where are you, Adam? Where are you? So as you're making your transition to your full-time job,
  52. 3:59remember that what goes on in your house is far more important for you than what goes on in the
  53. 4:04White House. It's far more important for me. I cannot control how long Operation Epic Fury takes place,
  54. 4:10but I can control how much I will invest myself in executing my King's Commission starting right
  55. 4:16in my own family. You have the similar opportunity and privilege to make the prerogative for your
  56. 4:25life's mission and work to be executing our Kings Commission. With that to the word of God we go.
  57. 4:31Today we're going to go to 2 Samuel 9, 2 Samuel 9. There are only 13 verses in that chapter. So
  58. 4:37we will read that entire chapter while all kinds of things are happening. You have, as I alluded to,
  59. 4:46the operation that the Fury continuing on, you have the rescue mission of our down to airmen
  60. 4:54in Iran. I mean, honestly, it's the stuff that movies are made out of, you know, that demonstrated
  61. 5:03for the world something that I want to dig into a little bit concerning the American commitment
  62. 5:11to refuse to leave a man behind. That is something that is unique in our current world. It flows
  63. 5:21from a worldview that is not an atheistic Marxist worldview. It doesn't flow from a disposition
  64. 5:31of a ziging ping, you know, or of a Chavez de Maduro and any of these other guys. It's
  65. 5:40a uniquely American phenomenon.
  66. 5:42I want to dig into that a little bit,
  67. 5:45as we have the Artemis II mission,
  68. 5:47you know, breaking the Apollo's record,
  69. 5:51having the humans to travel the furthest from Earth.
  70. 5:57But it's important that we refuse to allow those things
  71. 6:00to supersede our needed reliance upon God
  72. 6:05in this holy word.
  73. 6:05With that, 2nd Samuel chapter 9,
  74. 6:08verses 1 through 13, just by way of context, David is at this point in the Scripture solidified
  75. 6:14in his rulership over all of Israel, and what you're going to see in this text is that he
  76. 6:22seeks out Jonathan's son, his friend Jonathan's son whom he loved as a brother to be unnecessarily
  77. 6:34kind to him and fulfillment of the commitment he made to Jonathan.
  78. 6:38I will give you some cross references as we go through it.
  79. 6:43Second Samuel chapter nine verse one.
  80. 6:44This is what God's word says.
  81. 6:46Then David said, is there anyone?
  82. 6:48Is there yet anyone left of the house of Saul
  83. 6:51that I may show him kindness for Jonathan's sake?
  84. 6:56Now there was a servant of the house of Saul
  85. 6:58whose name was Ziba.
  86. 7:00And they called him to David.
  87. 7:01And the king said to him, are you Ziba?
  88. 7:03And he said, I am your servant.
  89. 7:06The king said, is there not yet anyone of the house of Saul
  90. 7:09whom I may show the kindness of God. And Ziba said to the king, there is still a son of Jonathan
  91. 7:16who is crippled in both feet. So the king said to him, where is he? And Ziba said to the king,
  92. 7:22behold, he is in the house of Machir, the son of Amiel and Lodebar. Then King David sent and brought
  93. 7:29him from the house of Machir, the son of Amiel from Lodebar and my fibosheth, the son of Jonathan,
  94. 7:35the son of Saul came to David and fell on his face and prostrated himself. And David said,
  95. 7:43Mephibosheth, and he said, here is your servant. David said to him, do not fear,
  96. 7:49for I will surely show kindness to you for the sake of your father, Jonathan,
  97. 7:54and will restore to you all the land of your grandfather, Saul, and you shall eat at my table
  98. 8:00regularly." Again, he prostrated himself and said,
  99. 8:04What is your servant that you should regard a dead dog like me?"
  100. 8:07Then the king called Saul's servant Zebra and said to him,
  101. 8:14all that belonged to Saul and to all his house I have given to your master's grandson.
  102. 8:19You and your sons and your servants shall cultivate the land for him and you shall bring in the produce
  103. 8:25so that your master's grandson may have food. Nevertheless, my fibosheth,
  104. 8:30your Master's grandson shall eat at my table regularly." Now Ziba had 15 sons and 20 servants.
  105. 8:37Then Ziba said to the king, according to all that my Lord the King commands his servant,
  106. 8:42so all that the King commands his servant, so your servant will do. So Mephibosheth,
  107. 8:49ate at David's table as one of the King's sons. Mephibosheth had a young son whose name was Mika,
  108. 8:58Or Micah. And all who lived in the house of Ziba were servants to Mephibosheth. So Mephibosheth
  109. 9:05lived in Jerusalem for he ate at the king's table regularly. Now he was lame in both feet.
  110. 9:11A couple things I want to point out. You know, first of all, I have to say it is utterly disgusting
  111. 9:21and despicable when people try to pervert the scripture to subordinate, be subordinate to their
  112. 9:29political agendas. Evil people have tried to twist the friendship and the brotherhood
  113. 9:35that David and John had then shared into something abominable. And it's gross and it's
  114. 9:42sick. It's just as perverted, if not even worse than the perverting of one's bodies to
  115. 9:48do what the scripture says should not be done dishonoring one's bodies, even worse that
  116. 9:55they would seek to twist God's holy word to fit their agendas. David and John had then
  117. 10:02shared a friendship and a brotherhood.
  118. 10:05And one of the things that has been a casualty of this, this
  119. 10:10feminized society that we live in is that we've been stripped of the type of fraternal
  120. 10:16relationships that men enjoy, that men share, that men need in order for iron to sharpen
  121. 10:21iron.
  122. 10:22So we have masculine affinity, respected love for one another that has nothing to do with
  123. 10:27any type of homosexual erotica.
  124. 10:30That's disgusting.
  125. 10:32What I'm saying is disgusting is to rob our society of the authentic, necessary display
  126. 10:39of fraternal masculinity.
  127. 10:41The scripture says a brother is born for adversity.
  128. 10:47The scripture talks about the necessity of men sharpening one another.
  129. 11:02It's ridiculous to have these assertions.
  130. 11:06David clearly was a heterosexual man.
  131. 11:10Jonathan clearly from the scripture.
  132. 11:12was the heterosexual man.
  133. 11:14All right, let me move on from that.
  134. 11:18So what's happened here, one of the things you want to cross-reference is 2 Samuel chapter
  135. 11:244, verse 4 in particular, because what happened in that passage is word got back to Saul's
  136. 11:33household that both Saul and Jonathan had passed.
  137. 11:37They were killed in battle.
  138. 11:39Jonathan's son, Mephibosheth, was five years old at the time when one of Jonathan's servants
  139. 11:48heard about Jonathan being struck down.
  140. 11:53She picked up Mephibosheth in haste and sought to run and escape.
  141. 12:01Five-year-old Mephibosheth fell and became handicapped in both feet, no longer able
  142. 12:07basically to walk from five years old and to continue for the remainder of his life.
  143. 12:12All right, another cross reference.
  144. 12:17First Samuel chapter 20, because of Jonathan and David's friendship, brotherhood, and love
  145. 12:26for one another, though Jonathan was the crown prince of Israel, Jonathan loved God more than
  146. 12:31he even loved himself or his own prospect of becoming the second king of Israel.
  147. 12:36So though he was the oldest son of Saul, the crown prince of Israel, Jonathan believed God's
  148. 12:41word through Samuel that David was supposed to be the next king of Israel.
  149. 12:46Jonathan believed in David's kingship.
  150. 12:50Jonathan simply asked David that when you become king, will you break the trend that usually
  151. 12:59happens with carnal monarchical transitions?
  152. 13:04One of the bloodiest times in any nation's history is when one monarchical successor arrives
  153. 13:11that are ascends to the throne.
  154. 13:13usually they would seek to consolidate power and eliminate any potential threats to their
  155. 13:18throne, which David, being not a biological relative of Saul, would have naturally sought
  156. 13:25to eliminate Saul's household in an effort to solidify his throne.
  157. 13:30But David recognized that he would only be king because of Yahweh's divine providence,
  158. 13:34and so he needed not to use physical violence to secure his throne in that same fashion.
  159. 13:39So he promised to show kindness to Jonathan's offspring and refused to eliminate the entirety
  160. 13:47of Saul's household.
  161. 13:49So when we get to 2 Samuel 9, we're seeing David fulfill that promise.
  162. 13:55A couple of things I want you to note from the text in 2 Samuel 9.
  163. 14:00David initiated the pursuit and the search for a descendant of Saul's household.
  164. 14:07initiated the search that brought him face to face with Jonathan's offspring, with Jonathan
  165. 14:12son Mafibisheth. The scriptures intentional in noting Mafibisheth's paralysis. There's
  166. 14:23nothing that Mafibisheth could have done to benefit David, but David showed kindness to
  167. 14:29him nonetheless, which reveals a lesson for us. One of the demonstrations and the evidences
  168. 14:35of our character is how we treat people, what kindness is we show to people that can do nothing
  169. 14:44for us. When people are kind to people expecting a quid pro quo, that's off the manipulation.
  170. 14:52But characters revealed in kindnesses offered when there's no expectation of any return.
  171. 15:09which we've heard, which we've seen with our eyes,
  172. 15:12which we have looked upon in our hands of a handled concerning the word of life.
  173. 15:17The life was manifested, and we've seen and bear witness and declared to you
  174. 15:22that eternal life, which was with the Father and was manifested to us,
  175. 15:27that which we have seen and heard we declare to you,
  176. 15:30that you also may have fellowship with us.
  177. 15:33Truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ.
  178. 15:37And these things we write to you that your joy may be full.
  179. 15:42This is the message which we have heard from him
  180. 15:45and declared to you that God is light and in him
  181. 15:48is no darkness at all.
  182. 15:51If we say that we have no fellowship with him,
  183. 15:53we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
  184. 16:04Shiting light into the darkness,
  185. 16:07this is the Hamilton Corner, an American family radio.
  186. 16:11Welcome back to the Hamilton Corner Abraham Hamilton the third here. I just want to remind you,
  187. 16:16may 2nd we will be at the entrusted homeschool conference in Waco, Texas. Simply go to entrusted
  188. 16:23homeschoolconference.org if you are in the area or willing to come to the area. I'm so excited about
  189. 16:30this. I've had the privilege of meeting the Hearst family, the ones who are the founders of this
  190. 16:38conference. It's going to be a tremendous time of encouragement. We will be focusing squarely on
  191. 16:45the God ordained, God assigned role of parents to lead in the disciple making of our own children.
  192. 16:54And so we're going to delve into that with quite a bit of depth. We were going to talk about some
  193. 16:59some Texas specific issues as each state has its own laws,
  194. 17:06as it pertains to what processes are employed
  195. 17:10concerning homeschooling.
  196. 17:10So we'll talk about some of those things.
  197. 17:13We're gonna dig into ESAs.
  198. 17:18To voucher or not to voucher, that is the question.
  199. 17:21So you don't wanna miss it homeschool,
  200. 17:23sorry, entrusted homeschoolconference.org
  201. 17:26is the website.
  202. 17:27May 2nd is the date, Waco, Texas is the city and state.
  203. 17:32Then, a couple weeks thereafter, May 14th through the 16th,
  204. 17:37we will be in Lansing, Michigan for the inspirational networking
  205. 17:42conference for homeschoolers put on by the Michigan Christian
  206. 17:45homeschool network, mission for short, M-I-C-H-N.
  207. 17:51That conference will be May 14th through the 16th.
  208. 17:54we will be there looking forward to that time if you want to come there.
  209. 17:59So you're saying, well, I'm not going to come all the way to Waco, but I could
  210. 18:02meet you in Lansing.
  211. 18:04Well, I would love to meet you there.
  212. 18:05Simply go to michn.org.
  213. 18:09That is mission.org to register for that one.
  214. 18:13All right.
  215. 18:16I want to begin with just the discussion of this amazing search and
  216. 18:27rescue mission that took place and it culminated really on
  217. 18:32resurrects and Sunday morning, early in the morning before dawn,
  218. 18:36where we had two US airmen that were downed. One was immediately
  219. 18:44rescued. The pilot was immediately rescued, but there was a weapon
  220. 18:47specialist who remained in Iran for quite some time before they
  221. 18:54were they were rescued. They were they were a part of a two two member crew on an F 15
  222. 19:04E strike Eagle fighter jet F 15 E strike Eagle fighter jet that the Iranians were able to
  223. 19:12down you know President Trump talked about it. Oh, they got lucky. That's what President
  224. 19:17of that. We fly thousands of flights over Iran. Describe that how you want. I think if
  225. 19:25you're in a war zone, you should treat it as such. That's just my perspective on it in
  226. 19:30terms of that. But it was amazing what was reported as to what transpired. And I want
  227. 19:38to talk a little bit about the uniqueness of the American military resolve to refuse
  228. 19:46leave a man behind a contrary to ice cream and administration's notwithstanding ice cream
  229. 19:53and administration's notwithstanding. I don't seem to believe that they adhere to that same
  230. 19:57type of ethos. But here's a brief report on it. Then I'm going to kind of dig into some
  231. 20:04of the details that are not included in this report. Listen to and watch clip number four,
  232. 20:10clip four, go video this morning reports to show the smoldering wreckage of two USC 130
  233. 20:16transport planes that were involved in the rescue mission on a remote base in Iran.
  234. 20:21Sources tell us American forces blew them up in order to avoid them falling into enemy
  235. 20:25hands, standard U.S. military practice.
  236. 20:29U.S. officials and White House sources describe a complex operation involving dozens of U.S.
  237. 20:35commandos and several dozen warplanes and helicopters in the search and eventual rescue
  238. 20:42of the missing F-15 crew member.
  239. 20:45helicopters and aircraft kept Iranian forces from getting anywhere near where the crewmen
  240. 20:50was hiding.
  241. 20:52Armed Iranians had been scouring the mountainous terrain to find him first with the promise of
  242. 20:57a huge cash reward.
  243. 20:59But a Trump administration official tells CBS News the CIA was deeply involved, not only
  244. 21:05in the hunt, but in an ploy to spread false information inside Iran that U.S. forces had
  245. 21:10already found him and were transporting him by ground out of the country.
  246. 21:16The race to find the two men F-15 crew began on Friday.
  247. 21:21The pilot was rescued within hours of the fighter jet being brought down.
  248. 21:24He sustained some injuries.
  249. 21:26We have learned the second crewmen is seriously wounded, according to President Trump.
  250. 21:31Yes.
  251. 21:34So that gives you an overview of what all transpired, as I mentioned, an F-15E Strike Eagle fighter
  252. 21:41jet was downed by the Iranians. Both the pilot and the weapon specialists were able to eject
  253. 21:49from the downplane as according to reports it was flying over the Isfahan province in Iran.
  254. 21:58But while the pilot was able to be rescued relatively soon, the weapon specialist was
  255. 22:02not. So he had to hide in the mountain, this region between
  256. 22:09crafts of rocks while awaiting rescues. Now, what many of you
  257. 22:17might expect, US air crews are trained and survival evasion
  258. 22:21resistance and escape techniques. I don't know how do you
  259. 22:24pronounce that acronym, but it's as sear, sear techniques if
  260. 22:29down behind enemy lines. But we don't have, we only have few airmen who are fluent in
  261. 22:39Farsi, or speaking in Persian language, and they have to face the challenge of remaining undetected
  262. 22:47prior to rescue. According to reports, the rank of the weapons specialist who were surviving in the
  263. 22:56rocks of the Mount Iranian mountains held the rank of colonel, but he also had severe injuries
  264. 23:04that included an ankle sprain, an ankle sprain. The airman was able to establish contact with
  265. 23:12U.S. military. He was able to authenticate himself, which was a necessary step to make
  266. 23:16sure that we don't send our commandos into a trap. All right. So he was able to authenticate
  267. 23:22himself to make sure that everybody understood that yes, I am the weapon specialist who was
  268. 23:28in the F-15E that was downed.
  269. 23:33As you heard in the report, and this is amazing to see how these things work together, the
  270. 23:38CIA ran a deception campaign earlier in Israel in an effort to try to, in Iran, in an effort
  271. 23:45to try to confuse Tehran by planting misinformation, frankly, that the U.S. forces at all, they
  272. 23:53already found him and we're trying to get him out of out of country on ground on the ground.
  273. 24:01But in addition to that, our military took steps, more steps to jam electronic devices,
  274. 24:09bombing key roads around the location where our servicemen was located to prevent anybody
  275. 24:16from getting close to him.
  276. 24:19And then we eventually sent aircraft to extract the airmen who apparently is a colonel.
  277. 24:26I refer to him as the Colonel, obviously keeping his name out of the media for now for good
  278. 24:32reasons, of course.
  279. 24:34They sent aircraft to extract the Colonel and rescue forces through a much smaller, turbo
  280. 24:39prop, turbo prop aircraft, which is capable of landing on small airfields.
  281. 24:43It was relatively light.
  282. 24:47One thing to note, state side that President Trump and the Pentagon and the White House were
  283. 24:52all silent while this all was transpiring.
  284. 24:56So much so that he had a reporter that went to Walter Reed to see if President Trump was
  285. 25:00at the hospital.
  286. 25:01He was like, you know, we're getting any chatter or anything, which is interesting.
  287. 25:06But once the mission was complete, President Trump emerged and began talking again.
  288. 25:12And then we'll talk about the tweet that President Trump sent out early in the morning.
  289. 25:15But what some people don't realize is the tweet was sent out on a chart.
  290. 25:19The true social post was made on Resurrection Sunday morning soon after.
  291. 25:24No, don't get me wrong.
  292. 25:25I'm not justifying some of the verbiage that was used.
  293. 25:27But President Trump sent that post out after it was solidified that we had rescued our airmen.
  294. 25:34So people need to understand that this is what was happening, that you have complete silence.
  295. 25:39Clearly, President Trump was pincively awaiting the successful rescue mission for our down
  296. 25:47the airman down down the colonel. That said, when our commandos went to get him and they
  297. 25:59flew in in the smaller aircraft, they initially encountered intense resistance. But one of the
  298. 26:08things that happened, unfortunately, is that the aircraft that they came in on to extract
  299. 26:15ended up having mechanical failures, mechanical issues initially.
  300. 26:19So that is what contributed to, and it was, they flew in on MC-130s, MC-130s, and there were
  301. 26:29four additional helicopters inside.
  302. 26:32And so when you had the mechanical failure on our aircraft that initially landed, that
  303. 26:38let our soldiers destroy it, which is protocol until they had to await additional rescue
  304. 26:43subsequent to that.
  305. 26:44Now, I'm explaining all of this, where you have the down airman having to survive to rely
  306. 26:49on this training to stay hidden, yet remaining contact with our military personnel.
  307. 26:56You have to have our commandos able to get in and get out.
  308. 27:00I mean, it's, it's, you can imagine the tension all across the board.
  309. 27:05But what I want to highlight for you is that that type of rescue mission is something
  310. 27:09you will never hear from places like Russia.
  311. 27:13never hear from places like China or Cuba or Venezuela or any of the other places because
  312. 27:18they do not value life the way that the United States of America values life.
  313. 27:23And as much as people in our country, some of the people who hate God in our country want
  314. 27:29to try to sever our nation from our biblical mooring, you simply cannot do it because you
  315. 27:36don't have enough machete's.
  316. 27:39You see, our military operates with an ethos of leaving no man behind because the underpinning
  317. 27:44ideology in our country that we value human life. Now I know that every single
  318. 27:49United States citizen values human life as I'm saying it but it is the overarching
  319. 27:53ethos of our nation which has permeated our military. The culture in our military
  320. 27:58is that if you tell our service members that they will willingly voluntarily leave a
  321. 28:01man behind you're gonna have a fight on your hands. You can have a fight on your
  322. 28:06hands because as much as you want to escape it ideologies are anchored in
  323. 28:11worldviews. worldviews are anchored in theological commitments. politics is nothing more than the
  324. 28:17externalization of one's theological leanings. And I am exceedingly grateful. I continue to put
  325. 28:27myself in a position. So my father, I have a friend of mine whose son literally just went off
  326. 28:34to boot camp, 18 year old son, just went off to boot camp in the United States Army. And I put
  327. 28:40put myself in a position of whatever that was my son,
  328. 28:45how I will be praying around the clock,
  329. 28:47inviting the believers around me to pray around the clock.
  330. 28:50And it's a moment that I believe it's worth taking a pause
  331. 28:54and reflect on the reality of that type of commitment
  332. 28:57is not merely about military prowess,
  333. 29:01it's not merely about barking dogs and our dogs
  334. 29:05bark louder and bite harder than yours,
  335. 29:07that there is a sanctity of human life
  336. 29:10that undergirds that ideology. We have the theological example of our Messiah for the
  337. 29:16sake of the one that he left in 99, not to abandon the 99 forever, but to make sure the
  338. 29:21fold remains complete. That's a uniquely American phenomenon that is developed based on a uniquely
  339. 29:30biblical principle. This is the reason why I'm pointing this out is for the same reason
  340. 29:38that I read through the entirety of Benjamin Franklin's speech the other day on the program
  341. 29:44that people want to try to shove, shove into the side and cover over and hide and conceal
  342. 29:50these types of commitments, but you can't because it continued to pop out.
  343. 29:59So I'm grateful, grateful that such a phenomenon I was able to take place.
  344. 30:05And once again, and I'm hopeful that this will be a reminder to our nation as to how
  345. 30:12life should be valued in our nation.
  346. 30:16I'm hopeful that will happen.
  347. 30:19Now as I mentioned that, that our colonel was retrieved near dawn, resurrection Sunday morning.
  348. 30:33And I'm continually asking for prayers for our nation, for our president, for our service
  349. 30:38members because we need it, man.
  350. 30:42We need it.
  351. 30:43We know what the scripture says.
  352. 30:45And I'm grateful that we have the most potent military force in the world.
  353. 30:51Full stop.
  354. 30:53But we know the scripture says that a war horse is a false hope for salvation.
  355. 31:00We need to live according to what we know to be true. Now, while I was exceedingly grateful
  356. 31:08for the rescue mission, I got to tell you, man, I was greatly troubled by the early morning
  357. 31:15true social post by President Trump. And again, and I understand that he's posting this under the
  358. 31:23immediate perception of having one of, you know, our U.S. airman down and behind enemy
  359. 31:31lines, you know, who serves him.
  360. 31:33He's the commander in chief of our armed forces.
  361. 31:35And he's, I can imagine him, you know, pacing in the White House as the rescue mission is
  362. 31:41being executed.
  363. 31:42And then when we finally got our man back, I can understand this, but it also struck me
  364. 31:54that the particular word choices on Resurrection Sunday morning and then, and I do believe it
  365. 31:59a bit of effort of trolling when referring to Allah.
  366. 32:02I understand that.
  367. 32:05But I think you can communicate it similarly
  368. 32:08without using those words.
  369. 32:09And I know, I know President Trump is not known for being,
  370. 32:12you know, the most eloquent spokesman.
  371. 32:18But I have to be honest with you all, that it did bother me,
  372. 32:20that that type of verbiage and really disconnect
  373. 32:25from the moment was prevalent.
  374. 32:28It's not something that I'm going to mull over.
  375. 32:32You know, I'm not going to you're not going to catch me tomorrow talking about this, you
  376. 32:37know, but it's something that I was like, man, it rubbed me the wrong way.
  377. 32:45And I'm yes, it's because I'm a Christian.
  378. 32:47I believe Resurrection Sunday is a sacred and a solemn time that I would prefer for our
  379. 32:53Commander in Chief not to pop that off at seven in the morning on Resurrection Sunday.

  392. 33:59The Hamilton Quarter podcast and one-minute commentaries are available at eFR.net back to
  393. 34:10the Hamilton Quarter on American Family Radio.
  394. 34:15Welcome back to the Hamilton Corner, Abraham Hamilton the third year earlier this afternoon.
  395. 34:19President Trump was stopped by a press gaggle and he had among the things he posted on true
  396. 34:28social and he previously stated that his deadline is tomorrow, 8 p.m. tomorrow.
  397. 34:36And he said the power plants, electrical grid, and it seemed to expand it.
  398. 34:41See all of Iran that y'all have until tomorrow at 8 p.m. or else.
  399. 34:49Well during his brief stop, and this is going to be a brief clip, President Trump indicated
  400. 34:54to our media that Iran came to him with a proposal, but he said it wasn't good enough.
  401. 35:04Listen to and watch clip number five, clip five, go.
  402. 35:07What do you think of the needs as a proposal?
  403. 35:11They made a proposal and it's a significant proposal, it's a significant step.
  404. 35:16It's not good enough, but it's a very significant step.
  405. 35:20They have made the negotiating now and that made it very significant step.
  406. 35:26We'll see what happens.
  407. 35:27So that's what he's saying.
  408. 35:30They're negotiating now.
  409. 35:31And then the questions I had, you know, according to reports, he was negotiating with, I think,
  410. 35:37Magdi.
  411. 35:38I think it's his name, the supposed moderate.
  412. 35:41You got to put the air quotes on that.
  413. 35:44I mean, what to, and a Shiite, 12er is a moderate.
  414. 35:51You know, it's moderate.
  415. 35:52Well, I won't decapitate you, but I'll stab you in your heart, you know, and what's that?
  416. 35:57I don't, whatever.
  417. 35:58I don't know what that is.
  418. 35:59But that's what they're describing him to be.
  419. 36:02The question I have is because earlier today, there were reports saying Iran rejected any
  420. 36:06type of negotiation.
  421. 36:07But later in the day, they're negotiating apparently.
  422. 36:11And I said this to Bob, and I was like, who are you negotiating with?
  423. 36:13Is it Moggdee?
  424. 36:15And if he's, if he's the parliamentarian, like, like he's in parliament, does he truly
  425. 36:21We have control over the IRGC.
  426. 36:23You know, now you have these statements that have been made, you know, President Trump
  427. 36:28has used terminology obliterated.
  428. 36:30We've done this.
  429. 36:31We've done that.
  430. 36:33But the Iranians still seem to be popping off our crackers somehow, you know, there are
  431. 36:38lots of conversations of what has happened.
  432. 36:40And don't be scared of what I'm saying.
  433. 36:41I believe that the work, the bombing campaigns have been massively effective.
  434. 36:47But I think the potential also exists that many underestimated what all Iran had, because
  435. 36:53their reports now have said that the US has been able to destroy a third of the Iranian
  436. 36:57ballistic stockpile.
  437. 37:00While they believe an unspecified amount is buried in rubble and in tunnels that they may
  438. 37:05not have immediate access to.
  439. 37:09But what percentage of the Iranian ballistic capabilities have been truly destroyed?
  440. 37:17And I don't think you can have a comprehensive battle damage assessment, just flying over
  441. 37:24in the air.
  442. 37:27That's just saying that seems logical to me.
  443. 37:33But if you're negotiating, and this is my perspective, I don't know how you negotiate with radical
  444. 37:4012-er Shiites.
  445. 37:42I don't know how you negotiate with them.
  446. 37:44Lying is something that they don't have a problem doing.
  447. 37:46And then you also have this fascination and fixation upon death, which is the only security
  448. 37:55they have.
  449. 37:56So how do you negotiate in that regard?
  450. 37:58And the security, I'm thought they're perceived security, isn't that legitimate real security?
  451. 38:04So how do you do that?
  452. 38:10My perspective on this whole thing, I mean, now that we are there, and I am not in favor
  453. 38:17of boots on the ground.
  454. 38:18said that and I'm not changing on that. But I can tell you one of the biggest disasters
  455. 38:23that would transpire is we leave there and, you know, six months, a year later, Iran is
  456. 38:32back doing what they've been doing. You know, that would be a gigantic, gigantic failure.
  457. 38:39So my thoughts are, man, do what you got to do. Do what you got to do, get it done. You
  458. 38:46know, take, you know, take the breaks off if there any breaks on, you know, President
  459. 38:51Trump is saying they're going to include the bridges, you know, power plants, electric
  460. 38:57grids and all that kind of stuff. I'm not saying be reckless. Don't be reckless. But I'm saying
  461. 39:00I don't, I don't. This is me. I don't understand if, if these people are adhering to this,
  462. 39:06this 12 or sheite ideology, which clearly they have been, the regime has been to date,
  463. 39:14I am uncertain as to how they could have a parliament member that they would abide who would be
  464. 39:24a quote unquote moderate. Now, is it impossible? Is it possible? Sure. I think it's possible.
  465. 39:31Is it likely though? That's the question I'm asking. Is it likely since you're there and
  466. 39:39praise me to God, we have not suffered more casualties and we've suffered today to court
  467. 39:46the Synchom Central Command that there have been 13 United States American military members
  468. 39:52who've lost their lives during this Operation Epic Fury.
  469. 39:58I pray that we don't lose another life, but we have got to obliterate this capacity for
  470. 40:06this terrorism to continue since we're there now, since we're there now.
  471. 40:10You know, the president said we'll be there two to three weeks.
  472. 40:14That's what he said last week, two to three more weeks.
  473. 40:18He also made these comments, which I thought were interesting.
  474. 40:27He said, quote, we are obliterating that country and I hate to do it, but we're obliterating
  475. 40:33and they just don't want to say uncle.
  476. 40:35They don't want to cry as the expression goes uncle, but they will.
  477. 40:38And if they don't, they'll have no bridges.
  478. 40:40They'll have no power plants.
  479. 40:41They'll have no anything.
  480. 40:42I won't go further because there are other things that are worse than those two.
  481. 40:46Then he continues, quote, if I have my choice, what would I like to do?
  482. 40:52take the oil because it's there for the taking.
  483. 40:54There's not a thing they can do about it.
  484. 40:56Unfortunately, the American people would like
  485. 40:58to see us come home.
  486. 41:00If it were up to me, I'd take the oil.
  487. 41:02I'd keep the oil.
  488. 41:03I'd make plenty of money and I'd also take care
  489. 41:06of the people I ran much better than they're being taken care of.
  490. 41:08It's been horrible, end quote.
  491. 41:11I'm sayin' so.
  492. 41:13So you're saying if you can do what you wanna do,
  493. 41:15last time I checked he's commander in chief, is he not?
  494. 41:20He is.
  495. 41:22What he seems to be indicating that what we required to do what he's saying he would want
  496. 41:28to do may be beyond our ability to immediately leave Iran or as quickly as as possible.
  497. 41:36It seems to me based on his comments and again, I don't want to read too far into it.
  498. 41:39But when he says unfortunately the American people would like to see us come home, that
  499. 41:43makes me think that he's looking at polling numbers and other things to help come to his
  500. 41:51conclusion.
  501. 41:52be wrong about that, but that's what it seems like to me.
  502. 41:56I think the American people would prefer that we get the job done that you've articulated
  503. 42:01to the American people and then come home and whatever needs to be done to get that job
  504. 42:08done, get it done, get it done.
  505. 42:13Because I think it's a far worse concern and this is one of the things I said at the very
  506. 42:16beginning, it's far worse if we leave and if somebody else that ascends to the leadership
  507. 42:23and I ran and it just like if not worse than coming. We go through all of this and this is just reality
  508. 42:30because Operation Midnight Hammer, the commentary was, we've obliterated their nuclear program.
  509. 42:34Well, Operation Epic Fury is pursued because a report saying that they're still trying to
  510. 42:41pursue nuclear weaponry. So obliterated means something. You can't keep saying obliterated if
  511. 42:49it's not obliterated. So we'll see. As he said, there's negotiations underway and I think President
  512. 43:01And the Trump inclination is that he wants to do a deal.
  513. 43:03I think more than anything he wants to do a deal.
  514. 43:06That's his, his thing.
  515. 43:07He's a deal maker.
  516. 43:08He wants to do a deal.
  517. 43:09But I, I am concerned that he wants to do a deal with a group of people that deals are
  518. 43:14not what they do.
  519. 43:16The only deals they do is heads, I win, tails, you lose.
  520. 43:19That's the deals that they do, you know, send me pallets of cash.
  521. 43:24So we're going to keep on enriching unfreeze money through sanctions.
  522. 43:28We're going to keep on enriching.
  523. 43:33I'm concerned that he's dealing with people that doing a deal is not within their makeup.
  524. 43:43All right.
  525. 43:46In addition to that earlier today, um, reports from Artemis two, it is amazing.
  526. 43:52And I know it's been going on longer than I've been on the air, but what is NASA's fascination
  527. 43:56with naming things after the Greeks, you know, Artemis to Apollo this, you know, anyway.
  528. 44:04Gemini.
  529. 44:05Jim and I, I ain't talking about you because it's, what is going on with that?
  530. 44:16Well today it was reported that the Artemis II mission broke Apollo 13's distance record
  531. 44:21for human travel from the earth, eclipsed the wreck about over 4,000 miles.
  532. 44:27According to the reports that the Artemis II mission is traveling a similar trajectory,
  533. 44:35kind of like a figure eight in space as they crossed to view for the first time in human
  534. 44:43history portions on the dark side of the moon.
  535. 44:48There are reports right now that Artemis who has lost contact temporarily, but there's some
  536. 44:54I have some recording from earlier today as they eclipse this record.
  537. 45:04This is going to be a longer clip.
  538. 45:05Listen to, there's a little bit of video, but it's from the broadcast that NASA was providing
  539. 45:12earlier.
  540. 45:13Listen to it watch clip number six, clip six, go.
  541. 45:16We will continue our journey even further into space before Mother Earth needs in pulling
  542. 45:21us back that we hold here.
  543. 45:25But we most importantly choose this moment, challenge in the next, or this record is not
  544. 45:33long with potential names for those items or those morning looking up the window and where
  545. 46:00able to see them now both with our naked eye and through the long lens.
  546. 46:04And so we feel this is a good time to send this down in a special shout out to Kelsey
  547. 46:09for helping us with this.
  548. 46:12The first one we'd like to suggest is a named crater in honor of our great spacecraft integrity.
  549. 46:20And so if you were to look at Oriental on the far side and then draw a line straight up to
  550. 46:26home on the far side relatively in the middle is an unnamed crater and we would
  551. 46:32like to suggest it be called integrity in the future and the second one and
  552. 46:37especially meaningful for this crew is a number of years ago we started this
  553. 46:42journey in our close-knit astronaut family and we lost a loved one her name
  554. 46:48was Carol and we would like to Carol the voice that you heard was Jeremy
  555. 47:02Hanson, he is the one, the sole Canadian that's a part of the mission.
  556. 47:11You know, I understand that they want to give, you know, express appreciation.
  557. 47:15Jeremy Hanson, I'm talking about, but, you know, the earth is not our mother.
  558. 47:18It's not my mother.
  559. 47:20Okay.
  560. 47:21But I, you know, that's, you know, that's how, yeah.
  561. 47:27But Victor Glover, Reed Weisman, Christina, Koch, and Jeremy Hanson are the four astronauts,
  562. 47:36comprised of Artemis II mission.
  563. 47:39Victor Glover said, many, many, many profound things.
  564. 47:42But the one thing that I want to mention, and I'm not sure everybody realizes this, that
  565. 47:48this Artemis II mission is meant to be a contribution to another mission that will transpire two
  566. 47:55years later where they're seeking to put boots on to land on the moon near the moon
  567. 48:04south pole, which has never been done before. So this is a lunar mission that's employed
  568. 48:11in pursuit of a subsequent lunar mission, and then they're ultimately hoping and planning
  569. 48:16to build another space station, potentially on the moon. So this is being described in this fashion
  570. 48:27It's interesting how all of this is happening.
  571. 48:31According to the reports, the space flight will continue for another four days and then they're
  572. 48:36expected to land in the Pacific Ocean.
  573. 48:41That is an interesting, interesting deal.
  574. 48:46So we'll see how this all unfolds.
  575. 48:49I have some quotes and things from Victor Glover that I plan to get to, but y'all hear
  576. 48:53that disrespectful music.
  577. 48:54So Lord willing, we may get to that tomorrow
  578. 48:57and
  579. 48:59share-a-thon starts tomorrow.
