  10. 0:28And now the Hamilton Corner.
  11. 0:33Good evening, everyone.
  12. 0:35Welcome to the Hamilton Corner here on American Family Radio.
  13. 0:39I am your host, Abraham Hamilton III, joined by the Corner Contingent, Mr. Bobby Tariffman
  14. 0:48Rosa.
  15. 0:50He's not really the Tariff Man.
  16. 0:54That would be Mr. Trump.
  17. 0:58We are joined by produce extraordinaire often imitate it never duplicated the real J Mac is in the screening room ladies and gentlemen and we are ready to rock and roll with this edition of the program.
  18. 1:08There is a lot that transpired over the weekend much of it actually started with a latter part of last weekend trade deals actually framework for trade deals first the UK that was the first domino to drop then Jaina.
  19. 1:26China framework for a trade deal with China. You had the cessation of hostilities between
  20. 1:35India and Pakistan, had eaten Alexander, the American, Israeli who was taking hostage. I was
  21. 1:43learning about his story. Actually, the first male abducted by Hamas on October 7th. The young
  22. 1:51man literally had recently graduated from high school because he had dual citizenship, took a
  23. 1:58gap year and during which he joined the Israeli Defense Forces and have been
  24. 2:02taking captive there and he had been in Hamas custody for 584 days. Wow.
  25. 2:10Thankfully, he's now been released and returned to his family. So much is
  26. 2:19happening. I know the day was yesterday but let me wish all the moms who are
  27. 2:25listening to this program right now are happy belated Mother's Day. I hope you
  28. 2:30were celebrated yesterday and that you were able to celebrate as well because moms are central
  29. 2:39to God's plan for building His kingdom.
  30. 2:44The world should be grateful to and for mothers.
  31. 2:53In contrary to what the world says, I know and more importantly, the scripture explains
  32. 3:02that being a mother is one of the most important people
  33. 3:07in the entire world.
  34. 3:09And while we are grateful, grateful to God for you.
  35. 3:13At this very moment, many of you,
  36. 3:15if not most of you are making your transition
  37. 3:18from your part-time jobs where you generate an income
  38. 3:21to your full-time jobs where you cultivate an outcome.
  39. 3:26And as you do so, I'd remind you to do so
  40. 3:29with intentionality, understanding the primacy
  41. 3:33that God places on family recognizing that if you are in the place and in the stage where
  42. 3:39young people, young children in your home or children regardless of how young they are,
  43. 3:45to understand that you don't get to repeat ages.
  44. 3:50So what we must do, we must do quickly and I'll just add into this exhortation that intentional
  45. 4:02teaching and instruction is important.
  46. 4:07But some of the most important teaching
  47. 4:08that we are going to do is the teaching
  48. 4:10that is done by our examples.
  49. 4:15And this is one of those areas where there's no middle ground.
  50. 4:20Our examples will either be runways
  51. 4:23or obstacle courses for our children.
  52. 4:26Our examples will be guide posts and runways
  53. 4:30for our children to see and do likewise,
  54. 4:32or it will be obstacle courses that our children
  55. 4:38will have to overcome and to avoid and duck under, climb over, dodge in order to fulfill
  56. 4:44God's purposes for their lives.
  57. 4:46And the simple fact is that there's no middle ground.
  58. 4:50It is either a runway or obstacles.
  59. 4:53Of course, there could be a combination.
  60. 4:55But when there is a combination, you actually end up diluting the potency of the runway
  61. 5:01version, if you will.
  62. 5:03With that, let us turn to the word of God.
  63. 5:05Deuteronomy 4 is where we're going to go.
  64. 5:08Deuteronomy 4 is as we celebrate and celebrated mothers, I just want to take a few moments to
  65. 5:21point you to Scripture to where God provides us in His holy word a vision.
  66. 5:27He casts a vision for us for not only the stage of life as mothers and fathers, but also grandmothers
  67. 5:36and grandfathers. God has given us in his word a rope map, if you will, or should I say a vision
  68. 5:43for the grand parental life stage. Deuteronomy chapter 4, just by way of reminded,
  69. 5:50the book of Deuteronomy is the Deuterocanical expression of Moses. It simply means second-telling.
  70. 5:57He recounts much of what is recorded in numbers and Leviticus, but he does so
  71. 6:00for a new audience, if you will.
  72. 6:04The second generation of wilderness Israelites
  73. 6:06are receiving instruction from Moses
  74. 6:08through the Book of Deuteronomy
  75. 6:10in anticipation and preparation
  76. 6:13for entrance into the Promised Land.
  77. 6:15That's what the Book of Deuteronomy is.
  78. 6:17Many you'll recall every Israelite
  79. 6:22over the age of 20 years old,
  80. 6:24except for Caleb in Joshua,
  81. 6:27passed away in the wilderness
  82. 6:28before entering the Promised Land.
  83. 6:31There were children who came out of Egypt,
  84. 6:32who became adults in the wilderness.
  85. 6:34There were actually children who were born in the wilderness.
  86. 6:37And so Moses is preparing a second generation.
  87. 6:42And here Moses is being basically quoted in this passage,
  88. 6:47Deuteronomy 4, verses 5 through 9,
  89. 6:49I don't think I said that yet.
  90. 6:50Deuteronomy 4, verses 5 through 9.
  91. 6:52And this is what the Word of God says,
  92. 6:54see I have taught you statutes and judgments.
  93. 6:58Just as the Lord my God commanded me,
  94. 7:01that you should do thus in the land where you are entering to possess it.
  95. 7:08Term of page.
  96. 7:11So keep and do them for that is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the
  97. 7:16peoples who will hear all these statutes and say, surely this is, sorry,
  98. 7:21surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people for what great
  99. 7:27nation is there that has a good, for what great nation is there that has a God so
  100. 7:33near to it as is the Lord our God, whenever we call on him.
  101. 7:40Or what great nation is there that has statutes and judgments as righteous as this whole law,
  102. 7:47which I am setting before you today, only give heed to yourself and keep your soul diligently
  103. 7:54so that you do not forget the things which your eyes have seen, and they do not depart
  104. 8:01from your heart all the days of your life, but make them known to your sons and grandsons.
  105. 8:09Some translations there say, says, make them known to your children and your grandchildren.
  106. 8:16This is one of not the exclusives, but one of the passages of Scripture that the Spirit of God
  107. 8:23moves Moses to convey that these second-generation wilderness Israelites should have a vision already
  108. 8:31in their hearts and minds for how their lives are to impact their grandchildren.
  109. 8:39This is the duterochanical expression of the same principle in Proverbs 13, 22, which says
  110. 8:46that a good man leaves it inheritance for his children's children.
  111. 8:50No doubt about it.
  112. 8:51The text in Proverbs is regarding material inheritance, but it is not excluding the non-material portions
  113. 8:59of the inheritance that a good man would leave.
  114. 9:01And I would argue that in many ways, the non material portions are even more important.
  115. 9:06The material is important, but it's not more important than the non material.
  116. 9:11And I want you to take note of the manner in which this is expressed, you, my brother,
  117. 9:19my sister should be cognizant of the prospective impact and influence that you could have that
  118. 9:26you should have on your children and grandchildren.
  119. 9:29looking what it says. But in order to have that type of impact in a godly way, I would say,
  120. 9:37the text says in verse 9, only give heed to yourself. Consider yourself keeping your soul
  121. 9:45diligently. What Moses is saying very clearly is that one of the primary ways
  122. 9:54that you can set the course for influencing the generations that follow you in a godly manner
  123. 10:00is by how you and I live now.
  124. 10:05As we celebrate and have celebrated Mother's Day,
  125. 10:09can we also have a vision for grandmothers?
  126. 10:12Can we have a vision for grandfathers?
  127. 10:16Do you want to be the kind of pop pop?
  128. 10:18Whether grandchildren are being told,
  129. 10:19well, you know, pop pop pop, you know,
  130. 10:21he was a role in stone.
  131. 10:22You know, it won't be like pop pop in these areas.
  132. 10:24Or do you want to be able to say, yeah, man,
  133. 10:26granddad, granddad was diligent.
  134. 10:29He kept his soul diligently.
  135. 10:31His work ethic reflected his commitment to his Lord.
  136. 10:35He was a worshiper and all he did.
  137. 10:37And it is because of his influence that I have been postured and positioned in this
  138. 10:41kind of way.
  139. 10:42And it is the cumulative impact of granddad and for me, your father, that we have
  140. 10:46laid the foundation for you to build from son to move towards godliness.
  141. 10:52Grandmothers, what kind of legacy do you want to have as a grandmother?
  142. 10:54And I know we have many grandmothers and grandfathers in this audience.
  143. 10:58We have some people who are not grandmothers and grandfathers.
  144. 11:00Regardless of your life stage by the Lord's grace,
  145. 11:05should the Lord tear in his reality?
  146. 11:07Yes, we should live as if the Lord is at hand because he is.
  147. 11:10The believer rightly has an earnest expectation of Jesus' return.
  148. 11:15And it is because we have that earnest expectation of Jesus' return
  149. 11:19that we live and we work while it is day.
  150. 11:21Because Jesus has given us commands as to how we are to conduct ourselves
  151. 11:26in anticipation of his return.
  152. 11:28return. So it's not an either or is a both end because heaven is my home and I cannot
  153. 11:35wait to behold my king face to face that it informs and influences the way I live right now
  154. 11:42and should my Lord Terry to the place to where I'm blessed to see my grandchildren,
  155. 11:48I want to have a godly impact on the lives of my grandchildren. I want to leave the type of example
  156. 11:55that the scripture lays out here so that we give heed to ourselves and keep our souls diligently
  157. 12:07so that we do not forget the things which the Lord has done in our lives, the things that our eyes
  158. 12:13have seen, that these things will not depart from our hearts all the days of our lives,
  159. 12:21but make them known to our children and our grandchildren. A mindful of my brother JJ's testimony,
  160. 12:28how he talked about his grandmother praying for him.
  161. 12:31But that's the enduring memory in his mind and his heart.
  162. 12:35Was his grandmother stretched out in prayer for him particularly?
  163. 12:40And then when God saved his soul, the Lord reminded him,
  164. 12:44but your grandmother prayed for you.
  165. 12:46And he's testifying right here in this studio,
  166. 12:48sitting right in his chair, his eyes dripping with tears.
  167. 12:52That he's a living testimony to God answering his grandmother's prayers.
  168. 12:56Guys, this is real.
  169. 13:05This is real.
  170. 13:06One of the components of being a Christ follower is that God gives us generational view.
  171. 13:10We recognize that we live for eternity from eternity and our lives are not our own.
  172. 13:17We've been bought with the price that will will for servants of our King and by God's grace,
  173. 13:25our lives could be an introduction of those around us to the discipline of Christ following.
  174. 13:32vitally important that the body of Christ rediscovers, first and foremost, the
  175. 13:38centrality of the family of God's plan for His kingdom.
  176. 13:41Secondarily, the significance of fathers and mothers.
  177. 13:45Thirdly, they recognize that not only the significance of fathers and mothers, but
  178. 13:51that grandfathers and grandmothers has the capacity to influence their children
  179. 13:58in a Godward direction, and their grandchildren in a Godward direction.
  180. 14:03but the bulk of fulcrum, the most potent components of that influence is going to come from our lived
  181. 14:09examples. Only give heed to yourself and keep your soul diligently so that you do not forget the
  182. 14:18things which your eyes have seen and they do not depart from your heart all the days of your life
  183. 14:23but make them known to your children and your grand children. The Word of God gives us vision
  184. 14:32for the grand parental stage of our lives.
  185. 14:36And we would do well to recognize
  186. 14:38that we put feet to that vision
  187. 14:40starting right here and right now.
  188. 14:43What type of legacy by God's grace
  189. 14:45do you want to leave for your grandchildren?
  190. 14:48Lord willing, even your great-grandchildren.
  191. 14:50It's going to turn on the quality
  192. 14:53of the lack thereof with which we live
  193. 14:55before the risen King.
  194. 14:57A discipleship minute with Joseph Parker.
  195. 15:03What should a pro-life church look like?
  196. 15:07It's a church that will prayerfully consider encouraging members to volunteer at local pregnancy centers
  197. 15:12and to volunteer for other pro-life ministries.
  198. 15:16It's a church that would prayerfully consider supporting a baby closed closet with diapers, clothes,
  199. 15:22wipes, and other needed items.
  200. 15:24It's a church that will prayerfully consider becoming a sanctuary church.
  201. 15:28They will help moms who find themselves expecting a baby at a difficult time.
  202. 15:33They will come alongside a mother who feels all alone and walk with her through her term of pregnancy and beyond.
  203. 15:39It's a church that will learn about important pro-life outreach miniatures that are doing vital work to
  204. 15:45In legalized abortion in different ways. Am I really seeking to honor the Lord in doing what he would have me to do?
  205. 15:52As an individual disciple of Christ to help stand for life.
  206. 16:05Shining light into the darkness, this is the Hamilton Quarter, an American family radio.
  207. 16:11Welcome back to the Hamilton Corner, Abraham,
  208. 16:13Hamilton the third here.
  209. 16:17Boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, things.
  210. 16:20What an eventful weekend.
  211. 16:23Really dating back to the latter part of last weekend.
  212. 16:27I had this story in my stack, I didn't get to it,
  213. 16:29but I feel like it's appropriate to announce this
  214. 16:33to address it now when to do so first
  215. 16:35because the first major nation domino, if you will,
  216. 16:39to drop in this economic, I would say, resettling on the global stage, which really I think is
  217. 16:51for once and for all exposed to fallacy that has been globalization, you know, globalism
  218. 16:56and, you know, free trade.
  219. 16:58Thanks to President Trump, the whole world, and more importantly, the American citizens,
  220. 17:04I'll say this frankly, are being confronted with the fact and being introduced to just
  221. 17:08how unfair the international trade scheme has been.
  222. 17:15So the latter part of last week, the announcement was made both from the United States of America
  223. 17:22and from the United Kingdom that the framework for a trade deal had been established between
  224. 17:27the United States of America and the United Kingdom.
  225. 17:30Listen to and watch clip number two, clip number two, go.
  226. 17:35I don't think that was clip number two.
  227. 17:41I thought the Bible is about the breakouts.
  228. 17:43This morning, I'm thrilled to announce that we have reached a breakthrough trade deal with
  229. 17:47the United Kingdom.
  230. 17:49Incredible country.
  231. 17:51Today is a victory day for World War II.
  232. 17:54We won the war together exactly 80 years ago.
  233. 17:58Today's agreement with the UK is the first in a series of agreements on trade that my
  234. 18:02administration has been negotiating over the past four weeks.
  235. 18:07The deal includes billions of dollars of increased market access for American exports,
  236. 18:12especially in agriculture, dramatically increasing access for American beef, ethanol, and virtually
  237. 18:20all of the products produced by our great farmers.
  238. 18:24In addition, the U.K. will reduce or eliminate numerous non-tariff barriers that unfairly
  239. 18:30discriminated against American products.
  240. 18:33But this is now turning out, I think, really to be a great deal for both countries.
  241. 18:37Now with these trade deals, the framework was announced, and the announced provisions of
  242. 18:43the frameworks and obviously the details will have to be, we'd have to delve into the details
  243. 18:48once they're available.
  244. 18:52But what has been announced to date between the United States of America and the United
  245. 18:56Kingdom is that Britain's tariffs on U.S. goods will drop to 1.8 percent, yet the United
  246. 19:04kingdom will still have a 10% tariff on imports from the United
  247. 19:14Kingdom. In addition to that, the framework allows for the
  248. 19:21importation from the United Kingdom of 100,000 vehicles for
  249. 19:2610% tariff. And the United Kingdom will also be allowed to
  250. 19:31export to the US Rolls Royce engines and airplane park port,
  251. 19:34I'm sorry, and airplane parts to the United States, Tara free and Britain will purchase
  252. 19:41$10 billion worth of Boeing airplanes from the United States.
  253. 19:47All of this was announced Thursday last week.
  254. 19:51Then you may recall last week I covered for you how China was saying publicly pounding
  255. 19:59its chest that well the Americans are raising tears on us.
  256. 20:03We're going to raise our tariffs on the Americans, on American goods, 125%.
  257. 20:08So the US was at 145% after April 2nd.
  258. 20:14China was at 125% on American goods.
  259. 20:17Our trade war, trade war, trade war.
  260. 20:20The US Treasury Secretary said those rates, tariff rates are effectively an embargo from
  261. 20:25both nations.
  262. 20:26Then what happened was a little birdie slid me a little note.
  263. 20:30See, wait a minute, China is whitelisting certain US goods,
  264. 20:34exempting them from the tariff increase.
  265. 20:38Then Peru's a little bit of the going zone in Jaine,
  266. 20:43and I found that they had factories in their nations,
  267. 20:47in their nation, closing overnight.
  268. 20:49Like a factory worker would go to work one day,
  269. 20:53then the next morning would go back to work,
  270. 20:54and the factory was closed.
  271. 20:56Others have been going to work,
  272. 21:00and they were expecting their paycheck,
  273. 21:03And the two weeks went by and no pay.
  274. 21:07So that led to all kinds of protests breaking out
  275. 21:10all over China.
  276. 21:11And I reported that to you.
  277. 21:13Then as that was being reported,
  278. 21:16I then reported the United States of America
  279. 21:18was planning to send its trade delegation to Switzerland,
  280. 21:24to negotiate with the Swiss.
  281. 21:27But in preparations for that trip,
  282. 21:29the Chinese contacted the US trade delegation
  283. 21:33said, um, might we have a word with you while you are in
  284. 21:40Switzerland? We like to have a conversation. Of course, they
  285. 21:43say that way. What's that thought was, Oh, and I told you
  286. 21:48guys that wasn't a part of the original plan. But then that
  287. 21:52happened. And so as I said, the plan was it will start
  288. 21:56talking. They would have two days of discussions, culminating
  289. 22:02this over the weekend, which led to first president Trump
  290. 22:06announcing it on social media. And then this morning, you had press conferences, even a
  291. 22:11joint statement issued by the United States and China indicating that the two nations,
  292. 22:17the two largest economies in the world had come to a framework of an agreement between
  293. 22:26the two countries, listen to and watch clip number three, clip three, go.
  294. 22:32Yesterday, we achieved a total reset with China.
  295. 22:36After productive talks in Geneva, both sides now
  296. 22:41agreed to reduce the tariffs imposed after April 2nd
  297. 22:45to 10 percent for 90 days as negotiators continue
  298. 22:49in the largest structural issues.
  299. 22:52And I want to tell you that a couple of things.
  300. 22:55First of all, that doesn't include the tariffs that are
  301. 22:58already on, that are our tariffs.
  302. 23:00And it doesn't include tariffs on cars, steel, aluminum, things such as that.
  303. 23:06Or tariffs that may be imposed on pharmaceuticals because we want to bring the pharmaceutical businesses
  304. 23:12back to the United States.
  305. 23:13And they're already starting to come back now based on tariffs because they don't want
  306. 23:18to pay 25, 50 or 100% tariffs.
  307. 23:21Are they moving them back to the United States?
  308. 23:26Now, I will talk a little bit about the details that we have in the framework.
  309. 23:32Can we just pause for a moment?
  310. 23:34Because the UK announcement was a big deal.
  311. 23:38But this thing with China, this is very significant.
  312. 23:45I'm just going to tell you now, now that China has entered this 90-day pause with an adjustment of tariff rates,
  313. 23:52but it does not include the adjustment of tariff rates that were in place prior to April 2nd.
  314. 23:58Okay, I'm going to get to that in a moment.
  315. 24:00I'm just going to tell you, you should expect to see more of these deals announced going
  316. 24:09forward because all that has to happen is one or two of the big dogs come to a place of negotiation
  317. 24:15and then everybody else is going to recognize because the United States and China are the
  318. 24:19two largest economies in the world.
  319. 24:21You know, all right.
  320. 24:22Most of the people that produce stuff and buy stuff at some point they're interacting with
  321. 24:26the United States and China.
  322. 24:27That's just a fact.
  323. 24:28All right.
  324. 24:33So what are some of the particularities?
  325. 24:39First, both sides have agreed to reduce their tariff percentages by 115%.
  326. 24:46So what that means is, and this is on 115% on the post April 2nd, tariff increase.
  327. 24:53So on that front, both the US and China had reduced back to 10%
  328. 24:58tariffs reciprocally a piece.
  329. 25:01However, that does not include the tariffs that exist before that were in
  330. 25:04place from the US against China before April 2nd. So the effective rates, according to the
  331. 25:09joint statement that will take effect as of Wednesday in this particular manner, will
  332. 25:15be 10% on US imports to China and 30% tears on Chinese imports to the United States of
  333. 25:23America. This is a part of a 90 day pause in which further negotiations are going to
  334. 25:36take place. The U.S. Secretary, sorry, Treasury Secretary has announced that Terrace won't
  335. 25:42decline from this level, but the deal was brokered this weekend to bring an end to the trade embargo
  336. 25:49between the world's largest, two largest economies and is the end of de-escalation. Now, as you
  337. 25:59might imagine. Bobby can tell you how the markets responded. But this, this is a very significant
  338. 26:12development. Now, obviously the details are going to matter much. The 90 day framework is
  339. 26:21put in place simply basically to allow the two nations to continue negotiation on the additional
  340. 26:28details between that are going to be in place for trade between the nations.
  341. 26:32But when you have an agreement to negotiate, that basically says everybody puts the six
  342. 26:37shooters away while we hammer this thing out, it's kind of a big deal.
  343. 26:42It's kind of a big deal.
  344. 26:43And this does not, this reduction doesn't include, as I said, the pre April 2nd tariffs that the
  345. 26:49Trump administration had imposed concerning fentanyl, those are still in place.
  346. 26:53But this is a very big deal.
  347. 26:55The joint statement released by the two nations reads thus May 12, 2025, the government of
  348. 27:01the United States of America and the government of the People's Republic of China recognizing
  349. 27:06the importance of their bilateral economic and trade relationship to both countries and
  350. 27:10the global economy, recognizing the importance of a sustainable long term, mutually beneficial
  351. 27:15economic and trade relationship, reflecting on their discussions and believing that continued
  352. 27:22discussions have the potential to address the concerns of each side in their economic and
  353. 27:25trade relationship and moving forward in the spirit of mutual opening continued communication
  354. 27:31and cooperation.
  355. 27:32I'm sorry, continued communication cooperation and mutual respect.
  356. 27:36The parties commit to take the following actions by May 14 2025 and it goes on to talk about
  357. 27:41the details of the framework agreement that was brokered that the two nations have jointly
  358. 27:47announced today, which is a big deal.
  359. 27:50Now I'm gone. I look, I got a, I got a drum and I'm going to keep beating it. I think
  360. 27:54this is a good step. I believe we ultimately need to decouple from China. I do believe that's
  361. 28:01important for our national security. I think this is an effective step in the right direction.
  362. 28:08I think we need to deal with China as China is and has expressed itself to be, which is
  363. 28:14a nation that seeks to to, to thwart our nation. They're in the enemy of our nation, no doubt
  364. 28:19about it. But we also have to deal in the world as it exists currently. So you can't,
  365. 28:27you hear the old expression wrong wasn't built in the day. You cannot do everything all at once,
  366. 28:33but this is a gigantic leap in the right direction. And y'all know my stance when President Trump is
  367. 28:40wrong, he's wrong. When he's right, he's right. And the mainstream media is not going to do this.
  368. 28:46The lying snakes are not going to do this. President Trump needs to be applauded in this
  369. 28:50there's not been a president within the last half century that's been willing to take China.
  370. 28:56There hasn't been one. There hasn't been one. On this, he needs to be applauded. What else
  371. 29:05would have brought the Chinese to the negotiation table? Certainly what a send-and-old crack
  372. 29:11aid hunter over there, Air Force II, to secure another bag for the big guy, that sure sure
  373. 29:17when you want to do it, you know.
  374. 29:20So, and if you, you know, you follow the stock markets,
  375. 29:26and some reports is indicating that all that had been lost
  376. 29:31in the stock market when the tariffs were initially announced,
  377. 29:34that's all been recovered.
  378. 29:37So some of you who have 401Ks and things of that nature,
  379. 29:41you probably want to check your statements,
  380. 29:45you probably want to check.
  381. 29:47And of course, this is just, you know,
  382. 29:48the stock market follows all, and this is very early.
  383. 29:51but it's a pretty, pretty, pretty significant deal.
  384. 29:56All right, that's where
  385. 30:00President Trump should be applauded.
  386. 30:01Now we have this other deal.
  387. 30:03I'm not so sure about this one.
  388. 30:08Because this morning,
  389. 30:10the other thing you had to say, man,
  390. 30:11President Trump works.
  391. 30:12I mean, he hit the ground running.
  392. 30:13It doesn't seem like he stopped at all.
  393. 30:14It doesn't seem like that.
  394. 30:16I mean, you got this going and you got that going on.
  395. 30:19He does little things to keep, you know,
  396. 30:21the line media buzzing, you know,
  397. 30:23throws things out there and they go,
  398. 30:24was a Gulf of Mexico Gulf of Mexico Gulf of America. Oh, go from America. Ah, China tariff. You know,
  399. 30:34oh, well, you know, hey, I'm out one. Don't rule it out. Don't rule Greenland. Won't rule it out.
  400. 30:38Won't rule it out. Promise you to go drug prices. It's it's it's something to watch.
  401. 30:48It's something to watch. Now, as I mentioned, the pharmaceutical, by the way, let me let me add
  402. 30:54this in real quick. I probably finished this segment with this. Bijasi, this story, and this
  403. 30:59This is on the cultural front and really a biblical worldview front.
  404. 31:03So do you remember how the employees at Disney and executives at Disney went overboard?
  405. 31:15Ron DeSantis, Ron DeSantis and they lied about the legislation that was passed in Florida,
  406. 31:21Florida Plast legislation that said you can't talk about sexual orientation and pre-K kindergarten,
  407. 31:27first grade, second grade and third grade.
  408. 31:28Can't you talk about it?
  409. 31:30And these liars went on and on saying, he passed a don't say gay bill.
  410. 31:35Remember that?
  411. 31:36Lying through that thing.
  412. 31:37That's not even what the legislation said.
  413. 31:38Did you see what just happened with Disney?
  414. 31:43You know what the next Disney world theme park is being opened?
  415. 31:47Where's it gonna be opened?
  416. 31:49Uh huh.
  417. 31:51Abu Dhabi.
  418. 31:52The United Arab Emirates.
  419. 31:56You know what happens to people who are charged with the crime of homosexuality in Abu
  420. 32:01Dhabi?
  421. 32:03It's a capital crime.
  422. 32:06It's a capital offense.
  423. 32:08So I'll just ask you this question.
  424. 32:09Do you think the people over at Disney
  425. 32:12were having a principal stance
  426. 32:14when they were objecting to what was happening
  427. 32:17around the Santas?
  428. 32:21It's perverts, man.
  429. 32:22They want to corrupt American children,
  430. 32:25but they'll avoid the ability to corrupt
  431. 32:28Emirati's children as long as they can, you know,
  432. 32:33put another theme part.
  433. 32:35And Abu Dhabi is just shows the utter hypocrisy,
  434. 32:38but it also should highlight for you just how insidious and how evil some of these people at Disney are
  435. 32:43Is they want to corrupt your kids, but if the price is right, you know
  436. 32:47We'll abandon the children corrupting phenomena as long as we can get Mickey out there next to the Abu Dhabi Emiratis

  453. 34:04The Hamilton Quarter Podcast
  454. 34:06and One-Minute Common Terrors are available
  455. 34:08at efr.net.
  456. 34:10back to the Hamilton Corner on American Family Radio.
  457. 34:15Welcome back to the Hamilton Corner,
  458. 34:16Abraham Hamilton the third here.
  459. 34:18You know, it's these people, man.
  460. 34:27They're one for double standards,
  461. 34:28they're one having these standards at all.
  462. 34:30And when you see the insidious effort,
  463. 34:33you see what these people have done
  464. 34:35with Walt Disney's legacy, you know?
  465. 34:37It is really, really disturbing
  466. 34:40because they'll use the money
  467. 34:42that they're gonna make from Abu Dhabi
  468. 34:45to continue to try to voice their agenda on countries
  469. 34:49that don't have the boldness or don't employ
  470. 34:54the legal framework to say, no, you can't do that.
  471. 34:59You know, when you think about,
  472. 35:01and I think about this a lot,
  473. 35:02that we're the nation, we're the world where, you know,
  474. 35:05moving pictures were introduced to the world
  475. 35:07from our country.
  476. 35:08He used to have a code called the William Hayes code.
  477. 35:11Some portions of it were just like, come on, man,
  478. 35:13but a lot of it had, there were a lot of good things in it
  479. 35:15because they recognize the influence that moving pictures would have on people.
  480. 35:19And on society and the culture,
  481. 35:22what the moving pictures used as a technological innovation developed to the
  482. 35:25place where you could have them,
  483. 35:29you know,
  484. 35:29used to have things like you would never create a moving picture where evil would
  485. 35:33triumph. You know,
  486. 35:34they had codes for sexual ethics,
  487. 35:37how you depict married people to hold deal, you know?
  488. 35:40And then as it stands right now,
  489. 35:42somebody's saying people, they'll make a film and they'll edit it for China.
  490. 35:46and they'll edit it for the Muslim nations,
  491. 35:48but they'll foist all the smut on our own nation.
  492. 35:50And now you have Disney doing the same thing.
  493. 35:52You think they're gonna have a man
  494. 35:54hopping around in the dress doing Hansel and Gretel and Abu Dabi?
  495. 35:58You think that?
  496. 36:00Nah, that ain't gonna happen.
  497. 36:03They're sure gonna use the profits
  498. 36:05and try to influence the minds of the American people
  499. 36:10and other Western nations.
  500. 36:13It's really sickening.
  501. 36:14It's really sickening.
  502. 36:17All right, I was getting to this where,
  503. 36:20where they're competing notions.
  504. 36:26And this is related to President Trump's executive order
  505. 36:28that he announced today.
  506. 36:29I'll give kind of an overview that I have a clip for you on it.
  507. 36:33And that is President Trump and his effort
  508. 36:36to deliver on his promise, to put America first,
  509. 36:41signed an executive order this morning,
  510. 36:44targeted at slashing prescription drug costs
  511. 36:48for the American people.
  512. 36:51The simple fact, and this is one of the things
  513. 36:53that many people may not even be aware of,
  514. 36:55that you can have the exact same medication produced
  515. 36:58by the exact same company with the exact same branding,
  516. 37:02sold two, three, four, five times more
  517. 37:07in terms of costs here in America
  518. 37:09with exact same medication in another nation
  519. 37:12is exponentially cheaper.
  520. 37:14Like you have some medications that are $2,000
  521. 37:16in America that's 20 bucks overseas from the same company.
  522. 37:22Because what's happened, what's happening, I should say,
  523. 37:28if you have any international travel experience,
  524. 37:30especially in certain countries,
  525. 37:32what you pay is called the American tax.
  526. 37:34You heard of that?
  527. 37:35I know you experienced that, Bobby.
  528. 37:36Certain nations you go, oh, they see you coming.
  529. 37:40They detect your American.
  530. 37:41The price all of a sudden goes up.
  531. 37:44And that's a crude representation,
  532. 37:46but that's what's happening
  533. 37:47with the pharmaceutical drug industry.
  534. 37:49And a lot of it is happening
  535. 37:52because a lot of the medication costs
  536. 37:53are covered by insurance.
  537. 37:54And so, a lot of people don't even look at what it costs
  538. 37:59to just see what the insurance companies are billed.
  539. 38:02That's what's happening largely.
  540. 38:04You ever had the experience to go to a hospital,
  541. 38:06go to a medical care provider,
  542. 38:08and you tell them your cash pay,
  543. 38:10and see how the price changes.
  544. 38:12Like, wait a minute, why doesn't this cost?
  545. 38:16I'm getting beside myself on this.
  546. 38:20But President Trump, hearing the cries of the American peoples,
  547. 38:23you know, why is my insulin so much more,
  548. 38:25the exact same insulin in another country
  549. 38:27That's produced by an American,
  550. 38:28American, American pharmaceutical company.
  551. 38:30Why does it cost me so much more?
  552. 38:33Where President Trump issued his executive order,
  553. 38:36signed his executive order today,
  554. 38:38in which he will roll out a quote,
  555. 38:40most favored nation policy,
  556. 38:43where he simply is asserting that the United States
  557. 38:44of America's citizens are gonna pay
  558. 38:47what other citizens around the world pay.
  559. 38:50Listen to him talk about this policy.
  560. 38:52It's clip number four, clip four, go.
  561. 38:54Why doesn't somebody fight the drug price situation,
  562. 38:57meaning equalization.
  563. 38:58There's a term.
  564. 38:59It's called equalization.
  565. 39:01Nobody wants to mention that term.
  566. 39:04And I'm not knocking the drug companies.
  567. 39:05I'm really more knocking the countries than the drug
  568. 39:08companies because they're forced to do things.
  569. 39:12But the drug lobby is the strongest lobby in this country.
  570. 39:17They say the drug lobby.
  571. 39:19It's between that and lawyers.
  572. 39:21And they have a lot of power.
  573. 39:24But starting today, the United States will no longer
  574. 39:27subsidized the health care of foreign countries,
  575. 39:30which is what we were doing.
  576. 39:31We were subsidizing other health care countries
  577. 39:33where they paid a small fraction of what, for the same drug,
  578. 39:38that what we pay many, many times more for.
  579. 39:41And we're no longer tolerate profiteering and price gouging
  580. 39:45from big pharma.
  581. 39:46But again, it was really the countries that forced big pharma
  582. 39:52to do things that, frankly, I'm not sure they really
  583. 39:55felt comfortable doing.
  584. 39:56but they've gotten away with it.
  585. 39:57These countries, European Union, has been brutal, brutal.
  586. 40:03So on the one hand, immediately, it's like, of course,
  587. 40:08this is insane.
  588. 40:10We have five to seven percent of the global population.
  589. 40:14But pharmaceutical companies make 75 plus percent
  590. 40:17of their profits from the American market alone.
  591. 40:22You have these companies selling their drugs in America,
  592. 40:25making their profit, and literally we are subsidizing
  593. 40:28the cost of the medications for other countries around the world. What was that right? Then
  594. 40:41on the other hand, haven't we tried price controls, government or price controls before? How does
  595. 40:46the concept of price controls affect a free market buzzword there?
  596. 40:53Ding ding ding. Free market. Has there really been a free market with medications? The data
  597. 41:11shows that the United States of America is the largest purchaser of medications in the world,
  598. 41:18and the American purchaser pays on average or pays as much as 10 times as much for medications
  599. 41:29from major drug companies than other nations, for example, like Germany. So on the one hand, my
  600. 41:39I, Spidey senses go off.
  601. 41:41I said, whoa, so is the president gonna put in the government or price control?
  602. 41:49Is that what we do?
  603. 41:52Or is there another way?
  604. 41:55Is there another way?
  605. 41:56Now, this is another one that I was gonna say, hmm, we have to see how this is going to be
  606. 41:59implemented because according to the executive order, President Trump has directed health
  607. 42:09and human services secretary, Robert Kennedy, to set quote, clear targets for prescription
  608. 42:14drug and pharmaceutical price reductions within 30 days. Now, again, the art of the deal is going
  609. 42:22to make a big, beautiful deal. According to those closest to the president, they say that
  610. 42:28his hope is that this executive order will introduce negotiations between the department,
  611. 42:39health and human services, and pharmaceutical and percent in the prescription drug industries
  612. 42:43to see if there can be a voluntary negotiated means to reduce prices domestically and to
  613. 42:53show in the shift some of the desire in the efforts to generate profits away from America.
  614. 43:00Like you literally have a scenario where you have some companies that make almost all of
  615. 43:03their profits in America and they're literally giving the drugs away at cost to other nations.
  616. 43:09So that's once again, the big United States of America literally subsidizing these calls
  617. 43:15for the rest of the world into which I, man, when you keep going through these things and
  618. 43:22that all of these things are being exposed, like the stuff that Doge is doing.
  619. 43:26And then you see the master trade imbalances.
  620. 43:29You know, many people, I say, well myself, I didn't know there was a trade imbalance between
  621. 43:31the United States of America and Israel.
  622. 43:34Maybe I just took it for granted.
  623. 43:35I don't know.
  624. 43:36I didn't know that.
  625. 43:37When you see we have all of these things going on, it makes me want to say, what about the
  626. 43:41President's been doing.
  627. 43:46President Trump attempted to do something along this line
  628. 43:49in his initial term, but his regulation change
  629. 43:55got stymied in the courts,
  630. 43:57and the Biden administration just dropped it,
  631. 43:58so they didn't follow through with it.
  632. 44:05Why do we allow a pharmaceutical industry?
  633. 44:07And this could be my ignorance
  634. 44:08about the pharmaceutical industry, and I'm open to that.
  635. 44:12You know, there may be some of you in the audience right now
  636. 44:14that it helped me with some insight,
  637. 44:16but how do we allow there to get to the place
  638. 44:18where our nation, a large nation, no doubt,
  639. 44:24economically robust, no doubt, but population wise,
  640. 44:27we're not as large as some of the other nations.
  641. 44:31How is it that our nation that is producing
  642. 44:34pharmaceutical companies and selling medications
  643. 44:36all over the world, but 75, 80% of the profits
  644. 44:41are being made off of the American,
  645. 44:45of the American medication purchaser?
  646. 44:51That is a problem.
  647. 44:55That is a problem.
  648. 45:00Have we had leaders in our nation
  649. 45:03or we had people that were selling our nation out
  650. 45:08for their own grandisement and financial gain?
  651. 45:13I mean, I know all of these things have gone by,
  652. 45:17but I thought it was very telling, you know,
  653. 45:20off the top we got to save a cut for the big guy.
  654. 45:22We just gonna shrug our shoulder.
  655. 45:24Yeah.
  656. 45:25Gaining of function research.
  657. 45:26Oh, it's outlawed in America.
  658. 45:28Oh, Frouchy, we're still doing a little funded.
  659. 45:31We'll just do it overseas.
  660. 45:33brought you lies under oath and that pardon.
  661. 45:36That's it's becoming increasingly clear.
  662. 45:38We've had people in positions of public service
  663. 45:40that haven't been serving publicly.
  664. 45:43They've been serving private means,
  665. 45:47at least of which includes the lining of one's pockets.
  666. 45:53How do you just look the other way
  667. 45:55and watch your own nation get hollowed out like this?
  668. 46:01You know, is this a part of, you know,
  669. 46:03what Barack Hussein Obama attempted to do?
  670. 46:07You know, we have to be a part of rebalancing the world
  671. 46:09bring America down that we can fit into the globalist hole.
  672. 46:17You know, this is this is this is this is this is troubling, man.
  673. 46:28This is troubling.
  674. 46:29So on the on this drug pricing deal, I call the economic deals a straight up
  675. 46:36win with the UK and China.
  676. 46:40President Trump was winning on that front.
  677. 46:42I'm not sure about this one. I'm not sure about this one.
  678. 46:45We'll see. I still obviously support the president,
  679. 46:48but I'm going to be honest about these things.
  680. 46:50I hope this works out well.
  681. 46:53And like I've said in other areas,
  682. 46:56he's earned the right to wait and see.
  683. 46:57So I'm not going to come out here slamming him.
  684. 47:01But how do we get to the place when we're allowed the US
  685. 47:05purchaser to subsidize the purchase of medications
  686. 47:08for the whole world?
  687. 47:11That doesn't make sense to me.
  688. 47:15I'll end the show with this.
  689. 47:16And this is something that's just been bothering me, man.
  690. 47:20That's just been bothering me.
  691. 47:22That we are witnessing the erosion of the family
  692. 47:26our own nation. I've talked to you guys about the demographic winter that's
  693. 47:31transpiring and other nations is coming to rest in our own country who are not
  694. 47:38reproducing enough Americans to replace the existing population. There's never
  695. 47:45been a civilization that has thrived that hasn't had solid nuclear family at the
  696. 47:50nucleus, you know. There's a phenomenon and this is men, what's happening with women
  697. 47:57to like you had, you know, Tracy Ellis Ross coming out, you know, she's such a, you know,
  698. 48:02she's a boss. She can't do another but date young man. It's like, really that's what it
  699. 48:06is. And then you had, you know, Shannon Sharp, who's started pursuing for romantic relationships
  700. 48:13on 19 year old, this dude is in his late 50s, over 50. And now he's in a scandalous lawsuit
  701. 48:21to where he's made many cues of, you know, he's been accused civilly of sexual assault
  702. 48:29on his argue, his defense is always continuous,
  703. 48:32consensual.
  704. 48:34I'm like, do it with a child?
  705. 48:35Like, with 19 when you matter, what,
  706. 48:3921, 22 years old now, and then you got Bill Belichick,
  707. 48:42one of if not the greatest football coaches
  708. 48:45in American history, certainly the greatest defensive
  709. 48:47football coach in American history.
  710. 48:49So we got a 24 year old girlfriend
  711. 48:50and they've been with each other since 2021.
  712. 48:53So that's four years ago.
  713. 48:54Simple math, let's say it was not a four or four years,
  714. 48:57three years ago, you're 70 years old with a 20 year old.
  715. 49:02You know, there's no conscious and ick factor for you with that.
  716. 49:10What's going on with us?
  717. 49:11Man, we got men who's supposed to have wisdom,
  718. 49:18but they're producing, not producing pursuing 30, 40,
  719. 49:2650 years at Junior, that's insane.
  720. 49:30I can't help but think about Hebrews five.
  721. 49:31At the time you should have wisdom to offer you,
  722. 49:35you have need to be taught again.
  723. 49:37Something is happening terribly.
