  1. 0:00Darkness is not an affirmative force.
  2. 0:03It simply reoccupies the space vacated by the light.
  3. 0:06This is the Hamilton Corner on American Family Radio.
  4. 0:10It should be uncomfortable for a believer to live as a hypocrite.
  5. 0:15Delivery people out of the bondage of mainstream media.
  6. 0:18And the philosophies of this world.
  7. 0:20God has called you and me to be his ambassador.
  8. 0:24Even in this dark moment.
  9. 0:26Let's not miss our moment.
  10. 0:28and now, the Hamilton Corner.
  11. 0:32Well, good evening everybody.
  12. 0:34Alex McFarland here, sending in for Abe Hamilton,
  13. 0:37and very honored to be doing so.
  14. 0:39We have one of the most significant shows
  15. 0:41that I think you're going to hear in many a day,
  16. 0:44and it's about free expression,
  17. 0:47and how our thoughts increasingly are being controlled
  18. 0:52as our speech is being censored.
  19. 0:55We've got a very important guest
  20. 0:56that I wanna bring up in just a moment,
  21. 0:58But I want to take you back to 1987.
  22. 1:02Many of you may remember President Reagan.
  23. 1:05June 12, 1987, Reagan was giving a speech
  24. 1:09near the Brandenburg Gate.
  25. 1:10And he gave a cry, Mr. Gorbachev,
  26. 1:14tear down this wall.
  27. 1:16And it was the wall that had separated
  28. 1:19East and West Berlin since 1961.
  29. 1:23And it really became a cultural moment.
  30. 1:25I will remember that.
  31. 1:26I was in college and Reagan was shown on news feeds just endlessly tear down this wall.
  32. 1:36But we have an equally courageous guest, I believe, Janice Trae.
  33. 1:42And she is crying out, tear down this firewall, the digital Berlin wall of the 21st century
  34. 1:50that really blocks what people in China
  35. 1:54are allowed to know about and read about.
  36. 1:57And there's a lot we could say,
  37. 2:00but we're gonna talk about censorship
  38. 2:03and viewpoint discrimination in the 21st century,
  39. 2:07internet world.
  40. 2:08Janice Trae is the board chair of the Epoch Times
  41. 2:12and in TD television out of New York City.
  42. 2:16She's an expert on big tech censorship
  43. 2:20and just the free communication throughout the world
  44. 2:23and US-China policy.
  45. 2:26And she has an incredible wife story herself,
  46. 2:30but Ms. Trey, it's a great honor to have you with us here tonight
  47. 2:34on the American Family Radio Network.
  48. 2:36I welcome you.
  49. 2:38Thank you, Alex, for having me on your program.
  50. 2:40So there's a lot that I want to get into about world events
  51. 2:45and the age in which we live.
  52. 2:47But I want to hear your story.
  53. 2:50If you would tell us your journey from China to being a leading voice for freedom in the
  54. 2:56West.
  55. 2:57Yeah, I was born and raised in the forced labor camp in China during cultural revolutions,
  56. 3:04simply because my parents were college graduate engineers.
  57. 3:07We were sent to very, very remote area.
  58. 3:10I would say child labor, first grade, second grade, third grade, carrying fertilizers up
  59. 3:17to the top of the hill to grow the sugar cane that financed the school and during
  60. 3:23half a season I picked crops from the crop field work hours every day after school.
  61. 3:28If I could not fill up a full bag of crops picked from the field because they
  62. 3:34use hand tools or some crop drop on the field I could not return to school and
  63. 3:38that was my childhood the school was more than one hour walking by foots. Work
  64. 3:45past Crossfield Cemetery up the hill, school was on the other side. And the turning point
  65. 3:53for me was my father did not have a chance to learn Christianity. As an engineer, he knows
  66. 4:01Einstein believes in God. And so he sent me to Hong Kong to study at a Christian school.
  67. 4:08My grandfather was a successful banker.
  68. 4:11He owned a bank, but was robbed by the Chinese Communist Party, and he fled to Hong Kong.
  69. 4:20My first chance to learn Christianity was in Hong Kong.
  70. 4:25At that time, I compared the textbook of Hong Kong, China, and mainland China, which was
  71. 4:30Taiwan.
  72. 4:31all three locations with distinctively different stories on the same historical periods.
  73. 4:39And that was my eye opening of like which versions was the true versions. And 1989 was the turning
  74. 4:49point. My best friend was in medical school in Beijing and he personally carried dozens of
  75. 4:58of bodies, heavily injured, and dead bodies of students.
  76. 5:04And that triggered me to apply for colleges in the United States.
  77. 5:10And I came as a teenager by myself, not knowing anybody
  78. 5:15in the United States.
  79. 5:16And I'm very grateful to my host family.
  80. 5:21Ronda and Randy Goss really took good care of me.
  81. 5:27And I study accounting and my mentor at church told me to go for the best program where I
  82. 5:39landed at the University of Texas.
  83. 5:41And so I finished my undergraduate and graduate program with no any events placement from high
  84. 5:49school because I couldn't take any of those.
  85. 5:52while working two to three part-time jobs to finance my schooling. But America is the land of freedoms.
  86. 6:01And I was very, very fortunate to brief the free air that the opportunities was just abundance.
  87. 6:13And so my mission has been to give a voice to the voiceless because I could have been
  88. 6:20in the culture revolutions.
  89. 6:23I could have been killed during the Tiananmen Square massacre
  90. 6:26June 4th, 1999, and I could have been killed
  91. 6:30through the persecution of Falun Gong
  92. 6:32and other religious faith in China.
  93. 6:35The fact that I am alive today,
  94. 6:37in front of you, Alex and the audience,
  95. 6:41I have a responsibility to bring true freedoms.
  96. 6:46Two freedoms. We all believe that we were created by God and how do people be deprived
  97. 6:54of basic opportunity to have faith?
  98. 6:58You know, Janice, your story is amazing. In my mind, I'm just picturing you as a child harvesting
  99. 7:06sugar cane and being forced to do such hard labor. And yet, I look at what God has done
  100. 7:15in your life and what you have done through your work and diligence. As a child, even in
  101. 7:23the forced labor camps of communism, did you have a sense even back then that God was
  102. 7:30with you and that God had a plan for your life?
  103. 7:34I was fortunate enough to receive paper in the balloons from Taiwan.
  104. 7:45And they talk about we don't write on bicycles, we have cars, we have refrigerators, televisions.
  105. 7:55I asked my parents, what's refrigerator?
  106. 7:58It did not exist.
  107. 7:59And there was only one television set in the untie labor camp.
  108. 8:04And there were only two occasions where ever watched.
  109. 8:06And that was Mausé Dong and Joel and I's funeral.
  110. 8:09Everybody stood in front of the TV wearing something black.
  111. 8:12I didn't have a black dress or black thing.
  112. 8:16So we have to tear a piece of, cut a piece of black cloth to wrap around the shoulder.
  113. 8:23And so my affiliation of television was funerals.
  114. 8:27It was only when I went to Hong Kong that while there were cartoons, there were news and there
  115. 8:32There were so many things that television can communicate.
  116. 8:37And it was a very, very, very special when I went to Hong Kong, you know, sing hymns
  117. 8:47and all that.
  118. 8:48And that's what was compared to cultural revolutions.
  119. 8:54The only song you can sing were lyrics that changed to praising Mao Zedong as the rising
  120. 9:02and no classical music, no beta for no Mozart,
  121. 9:07like none of that.
  122. 9:08And so that's the systematic control
  123. 9:11of the Chinese Communist Party,
  124. 9:14trying to illuminate culture,
  125. 9:16illuminate classical culture,
  126. 9:18not only the classical Chinese culture in China,
  127. 9:21but also any classics,
  128. 9:23because the enforcement on like 80s here is something.
  129. 9:28eighties here some. So I would say there was no idea but I have like multiple
  130. 9:36narrows escaped in terms of life-death situations. So I felt like I was taking
  131. 9:45care of me. One time was like a landslide and we just passed and the rocks came
  132. 9:53right behind us and could have died. And in another situation, there was only one car
  133. 10:00for the whole labor camp. There was a military car and there was no sitting. Everybody stood
  134. 10:06at the back and like riding, you know, it was just, it was like kind of open truck types
  135. 10:17and you stood at the back and my dad almost died when there was a tree that the branch
  136. 10:25was flipping over.
  137. 10:27And so in some way I felt like the fact that I exist, God must have given me the chance
  138. 10:36and I do appreciate it.
  139. 10:39And then I also appreciate anyone that I encounter out of 8 billion people, whether
  140. 10:44your audience or whether with Alex being the interviewer, God has put us together.
  141. 10:50And indeed, indeed, I've got to ask you, as you came to America and you experienced
  142. 10:59not only the freedom but the prosperity, at what point did you realize that there is
  143. 11:06a powerful movement on the left to take us away from constitutional freedom to socialism
  144. 11:17slash Marxism slash and I've seen this Janice on 200 university campuses where I've spoken
  145. 11:26overt communism American academics and many students that are very impressionable professors
  146. 11:35that want us to become communistic. When did that realization that there's a struggle in America?
  147. 11:43When did that realization come to you? It was very apparent in my child's
  148. 11:52my son's upbringing. I was shocked at the school for them to read New York Times,
  149. 11:59even at the middle school and high school, I say,
  150. 12:05they say, mom, I cannot delete it.
  151. 12:08That was school, put it in.
  152. 12:10I have no choice of unsubscribed.
  153. 12:13And I would say, I see the shadows,
  154. 12:19when they were like destruction of like historical
  155. 12:23sectors and all those like chaos created.
  156. 12:28That was like a playback, kind of like a repeat,
  157. 12:34of like a movie about the cultural revolutions.
  158. 12:38It was just like changing the location
  159. 12:40and changing the scenes.
  160. 12:42Certainly was very obvious during the COVID times
  161. 12:48and why do they shut down everything?
  162. 12:51And like you can go to a large grocery store
  163. 12:57grocery store or big, you know, electronic store, but you cannot go to church.
  164. 13:04Like that is a suppression of freedom. And with my sons growing up, he likes debates,
  165. 13:12and he found that the debate topics were so left. And he finally gave up. And so he changed to
  166. 13:22speech, so he has a chance to pick topics that he like to speak rather than being forced.
  167. 13:29And he also finds buyers in terms of who win the speech contacts.
  168. 13:35Many of the judges were buyers in terms of trying to promote certain ideologies and even
  169. 13:43though the winner might not be the one that have the best presentation skills.
  170. 13:48So I feel very important to speak up, give me an example.
  171. 13:57The nine commentaries of the Chinese Communist Party that was published 21 years ago by the
  172. 14:02Epoch Times shows how China systematically brainwashed people's minds and its playback.
  173. 14:14And then that book alone has a trigger, you know, 400 million people withdrew from
  174. 14:22the Chinese Communist Party's and affiliate organizations.
  175. 14:27And then the second book, the Spectre of Communism, Ruing the Worlds, showing how
  176. 14:34communism using different names, infiltrated into education, legal systems, you know,
  177. 14:42everywhere, in Chinese.
  178. 14:43Janice, if you would hold up, but we've got a break, folks.
  179. 14:46The voice you're hearing is Janice Tre of the Epoch Times.
  180. 14:49We're talking about saving America from communism and the encroachment that may be farther along
  181. 14:55than you realize.
  182. 14:56The Hamilton Corner is back after this.
  183. 14:59Don't go away.
  184. 15:01This weekend on the Stand Radio, we'll hear about the International Olympic Committee's
  185. 15:05decision to ban biological men from women's events.
  186. 15:08Doreen Denny with Concerned Women for America will be our guest.
  187. 15:12Now we're having to come full circle again to getting to the place of not only having a
  188. 15:17policy that says women's sports are for women only, but also having to verify that female
  189. 15:22athletes are indeed female.
  190. 15:23The stand radio, Saturday at 4, and Sunday's at 8 p.m. Central on AFR.
  191. 15:35Shiting light into the darkness, this is the Hamilton Quarter, an American family radio.
  192. 15:42Welcome back to the program.
  193. 15:44Alex McFarland here sitting in for Abe Hamilton, and we're
  194. 15:47talking, leaning from the wisdom of Janice Tre, CEO of the
  195. 15:52Epoch Times, a person who has distinguished herself in many,
  196. 15:56many ways. And before the break, she was talking about in China,
  197. 16:02as communism came, the purge of the classics. And Ms. Tre
  198. 16:08mentioned during COVID, tearing down of historical statues,
  199. 16:12You know, it's been my privilege for 10 years to teach political science at the college and grad levels.
  200. 16:20And I remember one of the very first statues torn down during COVID was in California, John Greenleaf Whittier.
  201. 16:29And that's interesting because Whittier was a Quaker minister and he was an abolitionist.
  202. 16:36He was against slavery.
  203. 16:37John Greenleaf Whittier, and there's a town named for him Whittier, California,
  204. 16:42he convened the first anti-slavery conference ever held in America,
  205. 16:50and he was very instrumental in helping abolish slavery.
  206. 16:54So it was a puzzlement to me that the woke left,
  207. 17:00all about social justice, human rights,
  208. 17:03would one of the very first statues they tore down
  209. 17:07was a man that legitimately did promote human rights
  210. 17:13and social justice, a Christian minister
  211. 17:16who was an abolitionist.
  212. 17:18But such is the case when there's a cultural purge.
  213. 17:21We'll talk more about this and the state of our world
  214. 17:24and which future we might pursue with Janis Trae,
  215. 17:28our guest tonight on the Hamilton Corner.
  216. 17:32Welcome back, Ms. Tre, and thank you so much for making time to be with us.
  217. 17:36Thank you, Alex. You bring out a very critical point. Let me give you an analogy. How the
  218. 17:42Chinese Communist Party systematically eradicate culture? Take Chinese characters, have 5,000
  219. 17:49year civilizations and histories. There's no reason to change the characters, but how
  220. 17:55Chinese Communist Party changed, for example. The word love was literally written as under
  221. 18:02the roof, there are people intervening, and in between the roof and the people, there was
  222. 18:08a heart. And what Chinese Communist Party did was remove the heart. So there's the roof,
  223. 18:15there are people, but there's no heart. What's love with Delta hearts? I'll give you another
  224. 18:20example, the progress it was written in the historic tax for 5,000 years is a boat that
  225. 18:29takes you to better places. That's progress. On the Communist rules, it was written as a boat
  226. 18:35that takes you to a well. A well is that that ends. You have very limited views. Imagine you're
  227. 18:43at the bottom of the well or you can see a limit. That's essentially what Communist Party wants
  228. 18:49you to hear and see only limited views of what they try to impose on you. So the
  229. 18:55destruction of the historic figures regardless what the history of those
  230. 19:00historic figures but that's part of history and we should learn from good or
  231. 19:05bad those are things that we should learn from. There's no reason to erase
  232. 19:09histories and if someone attempts to erase history that means they have
  233. 19:16something too high, just like the internet.
  234. 19:19Why not try Chinese people, billion people, they are capable to go online and search the
  235. 19:26worldwide web and see what's going on, but in China there was censorship.
  236. 19:31So if in the Chinese version of the blouses, if you enter, say Falun Gong, you actually
  237. 19:41get an anti-falinh-gones, if you enter dalalama, you get an anti-dalalama. Why? Let people judge,
  238. 19:49because the systematic persecution on Falunghong, which based on truth, compassion for parents,
  239. 19:56and that's the universal values that's welcome in 170 countries around the world,
  240. 20:02and the United States has passed multiple resolutions, respect Falunghong, and honor Falunghongs,
  241. 20:09and the founder has been nominated for Nobel Peace Prize for multiple times.
  242. 20:16Why not let people choose what they believe?
  243. 20:20That's the illumination.
  244. 20:23Like at the background, you see the Shen Yun calendar.
  245. 20:28And Shen Yun performing arts present China before communism.
  246. 20:355000 years civilization in two hours, 15 minutes with a world-class classical Chinese dance with a
  247. 20:41life orchestra integrated when tour Western symphony with the unique Chinese musical instruments.
  248. 20:48And it's like a movie, a dance, and an orchestra all three in one. But the Chinese Communist Party
  249. 20:57trying to sabotage. For example, earlier this year at Kennedy Center in the opening night,
  250. 21:06they had the bomb threats, just trying to turn away ticket holders to come to see the shows
  251. 21:13and put the dancers and the musicians in the in the cold that was in February. Without
  252. 21:20you know, warm clothing because they were rehearsing and they didn't plan to have like
  253. 21:26very warm coats. And so it's just the harassment. You know, we all know that if someone want
  254. 21:33to do a bomb, they're not going to give you a bomb threat. You know, they would just ignite
  255. 21:38a bomb. But the threat was just trying to stop people from going to sea Shen Yun. And
  256. 21:44So it's so important.
  257. 21:46In fact, in China, people will watch movie that's been censored.
  258. 21:51And the people who know that if Communist Party
  259. 21:54trying to stop people, even stop politicians
  260. 21:57for coming to Xi Jinping and trying to harass them
  261. 22:02and all that, then actually they are in Australia.
  262. 22:05The member of parliament, there's so many of those companies
  263. 22:08that they could have a parliamentary meeting at the Shen
  264. 22:12in venue because they show up to all these Chinese councilors that this is the free countries.
  265. 22:20We are not going to listen to your telling us what to watch and what not to watch.
  266. 22:29So I think what it really takes is courage to stand up and to find the truth.
  267. 22:39the truth that's being hidden and what's the agenda like what you talk about in America
  268. 22:47is the systematic infiltration they use law fair. There's the transnational repression using law fair
  269. 22:55and you know, first lawsuit, I'll give you an example, where the Shen Yun campus was located.
  270. 23:04but they tried to bribe the IRS agents to remove the non-profit status and the FBI, the
  271. 23:14agent, and so they found out that at the end it was charged the people who were doing criminal
  272. 23:22activities.
  273. 23:23So that shows the extent and it may come very invisibly through the various censorship,
  274. 23:31through big tech and American companies,
  275. 23:35sometimes we may not know that what we've been sensor,
  276. 23:40what have they suppressed us from viewing?
  277. 23:43Let me ask you this.
  278. 23:46Do you know if any of the big tech like Google
  279. 23:50has tried to circumvent the digital firewall
  280. 23:54or have they just been complicit with it?
  281. 23:58The censorship, take an example with Epoch Times.
  282. 24:03I'm the board chair and I passed the baton on the CEO roads to my developed train successors.
  283. 24:12And during my CEO times, I have found an official complaint with the Federal Trade Commissioner
  284. 24:22and showing how Google have removed epoch times
  285. 24:29from Google News and so if you're not subscribed
  286. 24:32to the epoch times, you won't find articles.
  287. 24:36Every day, epoch times produce over 200 original articles
  288. 24:40over 5,000s per month, but you couldn't find it.
  289. 24:44And so that's the level of censorship.
  290. 24:46I'll give you another example.
  291. 24:47Facebook in 2019, July 2019,
  292. 24:52We have like 9 million views and actually we have like 60 million followers on Epoch
  293. 24:59Times and NED TV.
  294. 25:02But then they suppress it and they even stop NED TV and Epoch Times from running advertisements.
  295. 25:09I mean there's a pure discrimination, you know, Epoch Times and NED TV are American companies
  296. 25:15and founded by US citizens located in New York City.
  297. 25:20And there's no reasons that we are not allowed to run advertisement because it was growing
  298. 25:27about 17,000 new subscribers from the Facebook ads per month.
  299. 25:33And so they didn't want people times and then it would grow faster.
  300. 25:39And so they suppressed that and it's continued.
  301. 25:41Yeah, may I tell you something?
  302. 25:45year. Well, for 27 years, I've organized a lot of worldview and apologetics and Christian
  303. 25:53conferences. And we've had a lot of great speakers. Last year, one of whom was Charlie Kirk before
  304. 25:59he was shot of Turning Point USA, a friend of mine. Facebook would not run our ads. We
  305. 26:07have bought ads for all sorts of events. And we had other speakers, other Christian speakers,
  306. 26:16but last year, Charlie Kirk was our biggest speaker. Facebook would not run the ad and
  307. 26:22we went back and forth. We wasted a couple of months that we could have been promoting.
  308. 26:27Finally, they did let us run an ad for our speaker series. And we listed all of our speakers,
  309. 26:34the one that would not let us list in our ad was Charlie Kirk.
  310. 26:39Even that.
  311. 26:40I had, yeah.
  312. 26:42So it's there, isn't it?
  313. 26:45It's, I've been to many turning coin events.
  314. 26:50I personally spoke to a mad Charlie Kirk and a few days before the murder, he was in South
  315. 26:59career. He was astonished to find out about the infiltration of the Chinese Communist Party
  316. 27:07in South Korea, and he wanted to speak up on that. I have friends who were with Charlie,
  317. 27:15multiple friends with Charlie at South Korea. And it's the systematic suppressions,
  318. 27:25as, you know, people as famous as Charlie, but even every citizen. And also the communication
  319. 27:33tool. Let me give you an example. Recently, there were people in China using a signal.
  320. 27:43And somehow the Chinese Communist Party find a backdoor to crack. And people were detained,
  321. 27:51arrested because they have a signal check group.
  322. 27:56And so it's very vulnerable.
  323. 27:59I mean, some of you may remember, I think back in 2021
  324. 28:03when Paula was deplatforms, it's over night.
  325. 28:08And so Big Tech have a lot of dominance.
  326. 28:13I mean, over night, you know, the data center, the server,
  327. 28:18and also the app store all kick you out.
  328. 28:21So just trying to, you know,
  329. 28:26kind of like put the dev class on that.
  330. 28:30And that's why two slides, safe meets, S-A-F-E-M-E-T.
  331. 28:36It is a very powerful secure communication tool,
  332. 28:40end to end, it says own server,
  333. 28:42and own data center, and the encryptions
  334. 28:47will encrypt all the phone call, chat, video conferencing,
  335. 28:53file sharing, everything, frame by frame in encryption mode.
  336. 28:58So you can be assured that none of those information
  337. 29:02could be infiltrated or could be hacked.
  338. 29:06And the way they require a local key,
  339. 29:08so the contents will always stay with you only.
  340. 29:13The Save Me company does not have it,
  341. 29:16And it does not use cell phone.
  342. 29:19So there's no location tracking because it's not
  343. 29:22about making money.
  344. 29:23Unlike, say, WOS apps, a useful number
  345. 29:26because they can track your location,
  346. 29:28they can put advertisements.
  347. 29:30And cell phone is very vulnerable for hacking.
  348. 29:34And so that's why Save Me, there's
  349. 29:37a powerful tool for people who want to communicate securely
  350. 29:46and safely and I shared the Save Me Tool with Yaku.
  351. 29:51His sister was human traffic for six years
  352. 29:56and he spoke up about her sister who was eventually free
  353. 30:01and he does a lot of counseling for those victims
  354. 30:05of human trafficking and even after they regain freedom,
  355. 30:11they are always afraid of being tracked.
  356. 30:14And so having the tools like Save Meets,
  357. 30:18it's a great solution.
  358. 30:20And anyone, welcome to go to Apple Store, Google Store,
  359. 30:24and just find Save Meets or go to websites,
  360. 30:28savemeet.us and able to get the tools.
  361. 30:33It seems so simple, but think of a single tool
  362. 30:39that combines phone call, chat, video conference,
  363. 30:45and file sharing in one single tool
  364. 30:47that also remove vulnerability
  365. 30:50when you're using different platforms and different tools.
  366. 30:54You know, I wanna ask you a question
  367. 30:56and we'll have to come back on the other side of the break
  368. 30:59to do this justice, but the 2024 election,
  369. 31:05you know, it was Biden, then it wasn't Biden.
  370. 31:08And, you know, on a Thursday Joe Biden,
  371. 31:11he basically said, there is no way
  372. 31:13I'm going to leave this race. And yet Sunday, he had left that race and without winning any
  373. 31:21primaries, Kamala Harris in very undemocratic fashion was made the nominee.
  374. 31:28You know, we'll do this after the break. I want to get your thoughts on the election.
  375. 31:39This is Alex McFarland Janice Tre before we take this commercial break.
  376. 31:44Is there a website you would like to direct people to?
  377. 31:48Yes. For subscriptions, go to the Epoch Times,
  378. 31:52EPOCH, EpochTimes.com and subscribe.
  379. 31:57And then to get the free platforms,
  380. 32:01safe meat, S-A-F-E-M-E-E-T dot U-S. And you can download and use the secure
  381. 32:09communication tool. And in particular for your medical records and eating
  382. 32:15privates, you certainly don't want to live in the hands of Big Tech.
  383. 32:20I hope that thought we're going to come back more with Janice Tre, the Hamilton
  384. 32:24Corner, Alex McFarland here. Glad you're listening. Stay tuned for a brief break
  385. 32:27and we'll return.
  386. 32:28This weekend on the Stand Radio, we'll hear about the International Olympic Committee's
  387. 32:35decision to ban biological men from women's events.
  388. 32:38Doreen Denny with Concerned Women for America will be our guest.
  389. 32:42And now we're having to come full circle again to getting to the place of not only having a
  390. 32:47policy that says women's sports are for women only, but also having to verify that female
  391. 32:52athletes are indeed female.
  392. 32:53The Stand Radio, Saturday's at 4 and Sunday's at 8 p.m. Central on AFR.
  393. 32:59a Hamilton Quarter podcast and one-minute commentaries are available at eFR.net back to the Hamilton
  394. 33:11Quarter on American Family Radio.
  395. 33:16Welcome back to the program Alex McFarland here before we resume our conversation with
  396. 33:20Janice Trae.
  397. 33:22I remind everybody we have a live show called Exploring the Word, Heard Monday Through Friday,
  398. 33:28to four central four to five eastern and then my own website which is Alex McFarland.com. We've
  399. 33:35got a great, great 26 of events all around the country, our summer youth camps growing every
  400. 33:45year. But also if you would twice I will be at the Cove, the Billy Graham Training Center
  401. 33:52in Western North Carolina to do Bible prophecy studies, apologetics, God in country.
  402. 33:59We would love to have you there. Please, if you would, check out AlexMcFarlane.com.
  403. 34:05Well, I am just loving our conversation with Janice Trae and her amazing story, but also her challenge
  404. 34:14that we need to value our freedom and be aware that the censorship and the religious discrimination
  405. 34:22and viewpoint suppression that is going on in China.
  406. 34:27It could grow here in America and that we need to call President Trump to tell President
  407. 34:34Zhai Jingping to tear down the digital firewall and bring genuine freedom of speech, freedom
  408. 34:40of thought and religious freedom to China.
  409. 34:44But Ms. Trey, I want to thank you for being with us and really thank you for your diligence
  410. 34:50and your commitment, not only to journalism,
  411. 34:53but to Christ and to truth.
  412. 34:57You're quite an inspiration and I thank you.
  413. 35:01Thank you, Alex, and when I watch your episode about hope,
  414. 35:06I mean, it really resonates with me
  415. 35:08because think of like if President Trump speaks,
  416. 35:12the persecuted Christians around the world will listen
  417. 35:16and will listen with hopes.
  418. 35:18It's not only in US, but it's really around the world.
  419. 35:22And if you think of opportunities to end communism,
  420. 35:27this is probably the best time ever,
  421. 35:30with the president who is anxious to speak up
  422. 35:33and with the Secretary of State,
  423. 35:36who has been unwelcome by the communist regimes
  424. 35:40during his Senator Tanyuud,
  425. 35:43And also with family Cuban backgrounds,
  426. 35:49there's actually no true freedoms until we end communism,
  427. 35:54once and for all, because there is the threat from the nuclear power,
  428. 35:59from North Korea, and there's also Cuba is so close to the United States,
  429. 36:04you know, back then, JFK stopped it, you know, the crisis,
  430. 36:11But you know, back actors can use Cuba as the staging place.
  431. 36:17And so only when we remove communism, which is the Antichrist,
  432. 36:23and then we have freedoms. You know, the Great Firewall in China doesn't only block the code,
  433. 36:29it blocks solidarity, it cuts human for themselves. It's only with moral leadership,
  434. 36:36can reopen the channels that human, make humankind foolish.
  435. 36:41And, you know, we are all like brothers and sisters
  436. 36:44around the world.
  437. 36:46And regardless of color of the skin, background,
  438. 36:51I mean, United States citizens, mostly, kind of,
  439. 36:56from all walks of life.
  440. 36:57And that's our diversity and that's our ancestors.
  441. 37:01And so we will only able to preserve freedom in America if we all speak up.
  442. 37:10And if we all support journalism, that is traditional journalism, that speak to the truth,
  443. 37:17that preserves traditions and that gives hope, like the Epoch Times and NDTV.
  444. 37:22And it's also important that we have to preserve the God-given opportunity
  445. 37:30to be reconnected with the Divine, regardless of the label or naming, whether someone is Buddhist,
  446. 37:38Tibetans, Falun Gong practitioners, Catholics, or Jewish. It is really about our opportunity
  447. 37:50to look into faith and to be reconnected to the Divine. That is Mission Critical.
  448. 37:59and asking Xi Jinping to tear down the digital firewall is a very, very simple act.
  449. 38:06Xi Jinping is handling power struggle inside China. His health conditions have been deteriorating.
  450. 38:16He needs more than US needs China, the Communist China. President Trump or any of the cabinet
  451. 38:25secretaries or Congress can all are Xi Jinping to tear down a firewall.
  452. 38:32Another thing that all of the viewers and listeners can do is call your US Senator to
  453. 38:40support Senate Bill 817 as the Foundry Protection Act, specifically talk about force organ harvesting
  454. 38:49where people are being killed on demand for the organs.
  455. 38:53And that will be a strong message to China.
  456. 38:56And it has unanimously passed in the House and then just waiting for the Senate to pass.
  457. 39:05And so please call your senators on that.
  458. 39:10Senate Bill A17, initiated by Senator Tech Cruz.
  459. 39:16Wow.
  460. 39:17Do you know, is there a website about that bill that you're aware of?
  461. 39:24So by search on the Senate bill 187, we'll pop up the information.
  462. 39:32And then other website that you can read more about is called DAFOH, Dr. Against Force Organ
  463. 39:39harvesting, they have tons of information and for almost 20 years the
  464. 39:48fourth organ harvesting has been ongoing, people being killed on demand and when a
  465. 39:54regime will kill people on demand for their organs they don't respect lives. So
  466. 40:01in match they may not put the right match, tissue match, they will match the
  467. 40:07blood type may not match the tissue type because they want to make money. So it's
  468. 40:13high risk for even patients to go to China to get the organ transplant. Many of those
  469. 40:22died soon afterwards. And so it is an important, I mean life is most precious and nobody should
  470. 40:32be killed. Of course. What concerns you more the rise of communism or the rise of Sharia law
  471. 40:44here in America? Oh yes, it's I don't take for granted the American freedoms, the constitutions,
  472. 40:55and also how Americans found it. You know, they came from the Mayflower because they pursue a
  473. 41:03religious freedoms. And if we let back actors to infiltrate and stop us from, and I was actually
  474. 41:13was very surprised that in schools, many schools will not allow to publicly pray or having the
  475. 41:22tank amendments, now have some changes in some states. But this is a country that was founded on
  476. 41:30religious freedoms. All presidents, when they took the oath, they pressed, they have their hands on
  477. 41:38the Bible. And in the money bill in God, we trust. But are we living that? Are we trying to
  478. 41:51help other people around the world, whether it's Chinese, whether it's the persecuted Christians,
  479. 41:58in Nigeria or in China or those who want to have faith,
  480. 42:04like the Fan Gong practitioner in China,
  481. 42:06all the Christians in North Korea
  482. 42:09and in Cuba everywhere.
  483. 42:12And so it's our responsibility.
  484. 42:15I would say it's our job to honor God
  485. 42:20and to enable other people who are being persecuted
  486. 42:25to have the chance. Like as simple as take down the digital five walls so that information, free for
  487. 42:33information rather than in a totalitarian dreams like the Communist Party, it's not only misinformation,
  488. 42:40it's this information, it's manipulation, it's totally distorted pictures. And if we don't take
  489. 42:49actions, it is just like a cancer cells, it will only multiply and it will suffocate.
  490. 42:59And just like the COVID, it could have contained inside China, but it was purposely let patients
  491. 43:10travel outside China and spread to the world.
  492. 43:14So we have to understand that really in Communist Party's minds, freedom democracy do not coexist.
  493. 43:23That's why you remember in Hong Kong, like the umbrella movement or the white paper movements,
  494. 43:29they were being crushed.
  495. 43:30Why?
  496. 43:31Because the existence of Taiwan, democratic society and Hong Kong used to be a British
  497. 43:37colony with the freedoms.
  498. 43:40This is the stark contrast with the communist ideology and brainwashing propaganda about
  499. 43:47freedoms.
  500. 43:49Freedom is very precious and we should all take our responsibility for our children and
  501. 44:00our grandchildren and for everybody.
  502. 44:04This tray, I've got to ask you, has a thorough comprehensive analysis of COVID been done?
  503. 44:16I mean, everything that was the, because frankly, I think it was really a dress rehearsal for
  504. 44:23global totalitarian control, really.
  505. 44:29It was very sad.
  506. 44:31Epos Times was one of the only media that put up
  507. 44:37the documentaries in the very early stage of COVID
  508. 44:42to show the origin of COVID, Wuhan Lab.
  509. 44:46And also because the Epos Times continued reporting.
  510. 44:50In fact, Epos Times reported about a pandemic in China
  511. 44:54in December 2019, a few months before the rest of the world
  512. 44:58We have received tons of tons of thank you and appreciation letter from our readers who read
  513. 45:06Epoch Times on VPN and while they travel to China, they change the return flights and
  514. 45:14were able to leave China before the lockdown.
  515. 45:19When their relatives and colleagues who were on the schedule, same return flights who didn't
  516. 45:24make the change on the flights, they die of COVID in China.
  517. 45:29So timely information, safe flights.
  518. 45:34I think it's still a, actually during COVID times,
  519. 45:38we have reporters on the ground in China.
  520. 45:42We don't just take the government statistics.
  521. 45:45We actually went to cemeteries.
  522. 45:48We went to funeral homes.
  523. 45:50We went to hospitals.
  524. 45:51We interviewed nurses, doctors, and when they got
  525. 45:54home and so, you know, for security reasons.
  526. 45:56So we have tons and tons of information,
  527. 45:59but if at times an entity were suppressed by the big tech,
  528. 46:04and so they put labels, you know,
  529. 46:07say that we were doing misinformation,
  530. 46:10this information when we were simply telling the truth.
  531. 46:14So what you talk about address rehearsal,
  532. 46:18I don't think most people are prepared for another pandemic.
  533. 46:23And I think we need to be prepared because our electric grid is very vulnerable for attacks.
  534. 46:29You know, with drones, most of the drones, you know, the largest market share of drones
  535. 46:35produced by China.
  536. 46:37And with drones, you can easily carry poisons and drop it to the rest of our, drop it over
  537. 46:44farmland, you know, to poisons, you know, the food supplies.
  538. 46:48We live in a very vulnerable time.
  539. 46:51And that's why ending communism, ending information blockage, and that's where we have
  540. 47:00two transparencies.
  541. 47:03And that's when our lives have better protections with rule of law rather than to deterring regimes.
  542. 47:11That is not only ruling China, but using multiple methods, transnational repression to force other
  543. 47:21countries and to infiltrate and basically using monetary tactics to influence many media
  544. 47:34out there. So I would ask the viewers and listeners to really think twice of what you
  545. 47:43may hear because the truth like what Epoch Times and Edith TV have been reporting and
  546. 47:50often time being suppressed. So subscribe so that you won't miss critical information.
  547. 47:55In fact, we report the SARS-Fertile Disease three weeks before Beijing admitted the pandemic
  548. 48:04and was returning knowledge. And so timely information could save lives.
  549. 48:10The Mistre thank you so much and I appreciate that and folks I'm reminded of a quote by Benjamin
  550. 48:16Franklin.
  551. 48:17Benjamin Franklin said everybody loves the fruits of freedom but few are willing to
  552. 48:23tend the tree that bears the fruits.
  553. 48:26Remember preserving America it's all of our privilege and duty.
  554. 48:30Pray for God and country.
  555. 48:32Thanks for listening.
  556. 48:33Blessings today and in the New Year.
  557. 48:36Be bold.
  558. 48:37Stand for truth.
