  10. 0:28And now the Hamilton Corner.
  11. 0:31Good evening everyone.
  12. 0:34Welcome to the Hamilton Corner.
  13. 0:36My name is Abraham Hamilton.
  14. 0:38The third joined by the Corner Contingent this evening right across from me.
  15. 0:45Our friendly neighborhood with a holic Mr. Marty Sparks is in studio and in the screening
  16. 0:52room we have produced extraordinaire often imitated.
  17. 0:55Never duplicated.
  18. 0:56What it is, the real Jay Mack, ladies and gentlemen, is in the screening room.
  19. 1:01We're ready to rock and roll with today's edition of the program at this very moment.
  20. 1:07Many of you, if not most of you are making your transition from your part-time jobs where
  21. 1:11you generate an income to your full-time jobs where you cultivate an outcome.
  22. 1:16And as you do so, I want to remind you, excuse me, to do so with intentionality, understanding
  23. 1:23the primacy that God places on family, welcoming his view to inform and influence your view,
  24. 1:33and my view, of course.
  25. 1:36And as a result of that experiencing the fruit that is produced in us and through us,
  26. 1:43as a result of following him in every way that we can.
  27. 1:50highly important and highly necessary that we understand that and function as if we understand
  28. 1:58that because the world works over time to get us to place importance and significance on
  29. 2:04everything else while at the exact same time allowing frankly a nefarious substitute to
  30. 2:13come in for the discipleship function because the reality is the way that God has made us.
  31. 2:19The discipleship is a constant.
  32. 2:21What I mean by that is it is going to take place.
  33. 2:26Oh, you thought Disney was just making cartoons.
  34. 2:29They're making disciples.
  35. 2:32You thought Netflix and prime video,
  36. 2:35they're just making disciples.
  37. 2:39They're attempting to form the world that they want to live in.
  38. 2:44And they're seeking to do so
  39. 2:45by shaping the hearts and minds of the American populace.
  40. 2:49most specifically doing so by shaping the hearts and minds of our young people.
  41. 2:56Why do you think there's such a chasm between the worldview and the ideology and the preferences?
  42. 3:04Frankly, in the cultural norms between, largely speaking, older generations and younger generations.
  43. 3:11Thankfully, with the examples of Charlie Kirk and others, there's been a recent reversal
  44. 3:15of that I saw a study today, I'll probably talking more about the study in the future,
  45. 3:21but it says, oh, surprisingly, there's been a downturn in the numbers of young people that
  46. 3:25are identifying as so-called trends.
  47. 3:28There's been a reduction because people would say, oh, this is a fad, this is a trend, and
  48. 3:37now a trend is changing in another direction, and you see a trend changing.
  49. 3:41There are lots of things, lots of opinions and reasons why that contributes to that ideology,
  50. 3:49but namely, one of the first and foremost in my view is that the bankrupt ideals when applied
  51. 3:56reveal their bankruptcy.
  52. 4:02But I'm saying that because discipleship is a constant, it's going to happen.
  53. 4:05The question is, who is going to be the disciple makers?
  54. 4:10Jesus said that the student, when fully trained, will be like his teacher.
  55. 4:15Jesus it, it is high time and that we take the responsibility to obey what God has required
  56. 4:24of us starting first and foremost in our homes and working outwardly from there.
  57. 4:28So, as you're making your transition from your part time jobs to your full time jobs,
  58. 4:36do so with intentionality, recognizing that discipleship is a constant, but I want to
  59. 4:43be a part of forming disciples in Christ likeness.
  60. 4:49of the things you can mention and I've had a conversation with my children about this.
  61. 4:56Have you noticed something strange where we were in what day 15, 14, 15 of the government shutdown?
  62. 5:02But it's surprisingly not the top story in all of the mainstream media outlets. Isn't that interesting?
  63. 5:09When was the last time there's been a government shutdown and it hasn't been splashed all over
  64. 5:14the news everywhere? Oh, that's right. That usually happens when the argument is that the
  65. 5:21the Republicans are responsible for it.
  66. 5:23Huh.
  67. 5:25Because you know, there are lies of co-mission,
  68. 5:27you know, the expression when people attempt
  69. 5:29to affirmatively deceive.
  70. 5:30And then there are lies of omission.
  71. 5:33Lies of omission are efforts at deception
  72. 5:36that manifest as a result of concealing certain information.
  73. 5:42Just get a little, little query.
  74. 5:43I'm gonna talk about this more in the next segment,
  75. 5:45but just, just, just a little toggle around
  76. 5:47of our legacy media outlets.
  77. 5:48And it's interesting how little time they're spending
  78. 5:52on this government shutdown.
  79. 5:53Kinda makes you wonder why, huh?
  80. 5:56But before we get to any of that,
  81. 5:57the foolishness to sure let us go to the Lord's word.
  82. 6:00Paul's epistle to the Philippians
  83. 6:02is where we're gonna go today.
  84. 6:04Philippians chapter three, verses eight through 10.
  85. 6:07Philippians chapter three, verses eight through 10.
  86. 6:09I think I might probably go a little further than that.
  87. 6:15But Paul is writing to the church in Philippi,
  88. 6:18which was the first of the Christian churches
  89. 6:20established on the European continent.
  90. 6:24And Paul wrote this therefore, no, no, no, sorry.
  91. 6:28And being found, that's the wrong chapter.
  92. 6:31I got to turn a page.
  93. 6:32I was like, no, that's not the script I read it.
  94. 6:34Philippians chapter three, I was in chapter two.
  95. 6:37Chapter three, verse eight, indeed.
  96. 6:40Oh man, this moves me every time.
  97. 6:42Indeed, I count everything as lost because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ, Jesus
  98. 6:49my Lord.
  99. 6:51For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish in order
  100. 6:58that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes
  101. 7:06from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ.
  102. 7:13The righteousness from God that depends on faith, that I may know him and the power of
  103. 7:21resurrection and may share in his sufferings becoming like him in his death.
  104. 7:27Brothers and sisters, make no mistake about it.
  105. 7:30Jesus Christ is the prize.
  106. 7:35And our materialistic and consumeristic society, people tend to reduce Jesus to what he can do
  107. 7:41for you in terms of material provision and the season saints would say that you're seeking his hand
  108. 7:48but not his face. Guys, there is no price that can be placed on eternal peace. There is no price that can be placed on knowing that you're in the middle of God's will. There is no price that can be placed on the fact that I know when I leave this earth that to be absent in the bodies be present with the Lord. There is no price that can be paid for that.
  109. 8:16having the real time counsel of following the Lord.
  110. 8:20I remember growing up where I grew up, people tell you,
  111. 8:22you know, I'm from the hood in New Orleans, people say,
  112. 8:24well, you got to have somebody around you who looks like you
  113. 8:27and who does this.
  114. 8:28I didn't have anybody around me that had to been to law school.
  115. 8:30Nobody.
  116. 8:31I had nobody around me that was encouraging me to go to law school.
  117. 8:34All I had was the Lord.
  118. 8:36And I knew the Lord was calling me.
  119. 8:38And that was more than enough.
  120. 8:40Even when things got tough and things did get tough.
  121. 8:44Taking law school exams is not like taking exams and other types of academia.
  122. 8:49When things got tough, I was able to lean on him.
  123. 8:54And there's no amount of monetary value that can be placed on that.
  124. 9:01Jesus is the prize.
  125. 9:04Our culture would try to have you to accept counterfeits and substitutes
  126. 9:09as if those are the things that should be pursued.
  127. 9:11As Jesus said in Matthew 633, we seek first His kingdom and His righteousness.
  128. 9:16righteousness than all the other things, you know, the stuff that the Gentiles seek, they'll
  129. 9:21be added unto you.
  130. 9:22The way that Matthew 6 reads in the Greek is that your attention and focus is so consumed
  131. 9:26in Jesus, all these other things have to rush up to you and chase you down because they are
  132. 9:32not what captures your attention.
  133. 9:33They are not what captures your focus.
  134. 9:36He is the prize.
  135. 9:38He is the prize.
  136. 9:41I can stare down the reality of a uncertain society and the temporal waves of what's happening
  137. 9:49in life because I'm anchored in the rock that is higher than I, the apostle Paul who had all
  138. 9:57the credentials, a Pharisee of Pharisees, student of the Rabbi Gameliel, had all of the
  139. 10:04historical bona fides, but he says, indeed, I count everything as loss, not because it
  140. 10:13is lost in and of itself, but it is because of what the surpassing worth of knowing Christ.
  141. 10:22Knowing Christ has transcendent value, transcendent worth.
  142. 10:28It stands out and above and beyond anything that we might imagine.
  143. 10:33There is none that are comparable to him.
  144. 10:36So Paul says, I count all those bona fides as lost because I found something better.
  145. 10:41I found someone greater.
  146. 10:44Jesus my Lord and for his sake, I've suffered the loss of all
  147. 10:49things, not because I've lost them, but in light of who he is,
  148. 10:54all of the stuff that man places value in.
  149. 10:57I view that as rubbish.
  150. 10:59I suppose this.
  151. 11:00I view it as trash for my Spanish people as Basura.
  152. 11:06I view it as trash in order that I may gain Christ and be found
  153. 11:11in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from my own
  154. 11:17own performance, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God,
  155. 11:24from God that depends on faith.
  156. 11:25Now in view of that, guys, this is what happens because salvation is a free gift that is not
  157. 11:34obtained by works.
  158. 11:36But as you've heard me say numerous times that when you've been captured by the King of glory,
  159. 11:40you move away from giving offerings to becoming the offering.
  160. 11:45So in light of what he's done, and in light of what he secured for us, then you have things
  161. 11:49like it's written in verses 12 through 16.
  162. 11:52Not that I have already obtained this, or I'm already perfect, the Greek word there is
  163. 11:57telly-oise.
  164. 11:58Telly-oise, which doesn't mean absent of error, it means mature.
  165. 12:04Perfection there means maturity.
  166. 12:06Not that I've already obtained this, or I'm already telly-oise, but I press on to make
  167. 12:12get my own because Christ Jesus has made me his own.
  168. 12:19Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own,
  169. 12:22but one thing I do, forgetting what lies behind
  170. 12:27and straining forward, pressing forward to what lies ahead,
  171. 12:31I press on toward the goal for the prize
  172. 12:35of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
  173. 12:39Let those of us who are mature again,
  174. 12:43Tell your voice, think this way.
  175. 12:46And if in anything you think otherwise,
  176. 12:48God will reveal that also to you.
  177. 12:50Let us hold true to what we have obtained,
  178. 12:53to what we have attained, brothers and sisters.
  179. 12:56We all are on our journey at various stages
  180. 12:58and various points in light of the fact
  181. 13:00that Jesus Christ is the prize.
  182. 13:03We then as we aspire towards maturity,
  183. 13:06we know, although we're not yet what we want to be,
  184. 13:10we can look back and say,
  185. 13:11Whoo, the glory be to God, I'm not what I used to be.
  186. 13:15Glory to God, look, look, oh man,
  187. 13:17I'm telling you I love my seasoned saints.
  188. 13:19The Lord has surely brought me a mighty long way.
  189. 13:24That's what you say if you got old.
  190. 13:25So I've been saying this kind of substance, I was like 17.
  191. 13:27The Lord has brought us a mighty long way,
  192. 13:30brothers and sisters in light of the reality
  193. 13:33that Jesus Christ is the prize.
  194. 13:35If he has forgiven us, who are we to act like he hasn't
  195. 13:38forgiven us?
  196. 13:40Sometimes, especially many who professing believers,
  197. 13:42Jesus has forgiven us, but we are self-condemnotory.
  198. 13:46We will condemn ourselves and think that it is a righteous thing
  199. 13:49when really it's false humility.
  200. 13:51Fall on the grace of God, bask in the grace of God,
  201. 13:58and forgetting what is behind, press forward
  202. 14:02toward the mark of the prize of the High Calling Christ Jesus.
  203. 14:04Oh, brothers and sisters, Jesus Christ is the prize.
  204. 14:08And it is that aspiring, that ascribing towards maturity
  205. 14:12that sets us in the course in the mind frame
  206. 14:16where we're able to engage temporarily,
  207. 14:18not for victory, but from victory,
  208. 14:22because we know the end of the story.
  209. 14:25So because we know the end of the story,
  210. 14:27we live like we know the end of the story.
  211. 14:30Jesus Christ is the prize,
  212. 14:32and we have the express privilege of living in light
  213. 14:37of his transcendent splendor and glory,
  214. 14:41forgetting what is behind.
  215. 14:42are pressed forward toward the mark of the prize of the high calling.
  216. 14:45As the Apostle Paul said, all of this stuff that people view as valuable,
  217. 14:51I count them as rubbish because of the surpassing worth of the King of Kings
  218. 14:56and the Lord of Lords.
  219. 14:58A discipleship minute with Joseph Parker,
  220. 15:04the time you spend reading and meditating on the Word of God is extremely important
  221. 15:10and it needs to be one of those habits that we establish every day of our lives.
  222. 15:15Why? Because our connection to Jesus, a vital part of that is being in the word of God continually.
  223. 15:22God literally pours grace into your life through his word.
  224. 15:27And as you spend time in his word, God's word is working on you, molding, shaping you, and blessing you in ways you and I don't fully comprehend.
  225. 15:36You're spending time in the presence of God when you're reading and meditating on the word of God.
  226. 15:42And that's one of the reasons why Satan fights the Word of God, the reading of God's
  227. 15:47Word in public or in private as much as he does.
  228. 15:50He recognizes the Word of God is Jesus.
  229. 15:54And Jesus is the Word of God.
  230. 15:55When you're reading God's Word, God is talking to you.
  231. 16:01What if health care could be more than bills and bureaucracy?
  232. 16:05What if it could reflect faith, foster community, and offer spiritual support?
  233. 16:10At Redeem Health Share Ministry, the mission goes beyond medical bills.
  234. 16:14It's about honoring Christ and embracing health care that aligns with Christian values.
  235. 16:20Redeem members share medical expenses through monthly contributions, supporting one another
  236. 16:25in a Christ-centered community.
  237. 16:27It's not insurance, it's believers helping believers through financial support and prayer.
  238. 16:33And Redeem Health Share provides freedom for members to select the doctors, hospitals, and
  239. 16:38treatments that are right for them. No networks, no restrictions, just faith-driven care.

  243. 17:06Shiting light into the darkness, this is the Hamilton Corner, an American family radio.
  244. 17:12Welcome back to the Hamilton Corner, Abraham Hamilton the third here.
  245. 17:14As I alluded to in the first segment, it was quite interesting as I prepare for the program.
  246. 17:21And I've just been perusing the last several days, all of the legacy media outlets and looking
  247. 17:27to see how much, if anything, they had to say about the current government shutdown.
  248. 17:33Now, if you have, you are, you are a, a, a avid member of the corner, you know, we've been
  249. 17:40talking about this, that's a real reason for the shutdown. It is coming from the US Senate,
  250. 17:46the Democrats in the Senate, because Republicans only need seven Democrats senators to invoke
  251. 17:51cloture to pass a budget bill, which now it is a temporary continuing resolution. There
  252. 17:57has not been a normal regular budgetary order for quite some time. But you had a CR jet
  253. 18:06that just was passed in March. And they had it was was called a clean CR. And I explained
  254. 18:12that what the issue is the primary issue, the the main line issue is that all of a sudden
  255. 18:20Obamacare is no longer acceptable to the Democrats in the Senate because the the budget resolution
  256. 18:28that the House representatives passed simply restored Obamacare to what it was before the
  257. 18:36The COVID enhanced subsidies were passed under Joe Biden's emergency covert responses.
  258. 18:43And so I explained and you guys followed with me.
  259. 18:46We walked through that.
  260. 18:47And what happened was that in the one big beautiful bill, the, which was passed by with
  261. 18:55Republican leadership is simply restored Obama care back to what it was before COVID guys.
  262. 19:05That's literally it.
  263. 19:09But if the Biden had enhanced subsidies and the Democrats are saying, oh, no, no, no,
  264. 19:13Obamacare has passed.
  265. 19:14Originally is no longer enough.
  266. 19:16We need the expanded subsidies, which were all always passed to be temporary.
  267. 19:21The enhanced subsidies, we need to make the enhanced subsidies permanent.
  268. 19:26Additionally in the one big beautiful bill, Republicans removed any potential funding through
  269. 19:31Obamacare to illegal aliens.
  270. 19:35that's what funding for illegal aliens because the enhanced by narrative subsidies included
  271. 19:42funding for illegal aliens. That was some of the top line things. And then you had smaller
  272. 19:46things like the one big beautiful bill removed funding to the corporation for public broadcasting.
  273. 19:53They want that back. The one big beautiful bill ended some of the USAID funding, you know, with
  274. 19:58crazy stuff. And you're going to hear I'm going to play some audio from speaker Mike Johnson
  275. 20:02explain this, explaining this, but sending, you know, 24 million to Honduras for quote
  276. 20:08unquote climate resilience, 13 million to for quote unquote, excuse me, civic engagement
  277. 20:18in Zimbabwe, civic engagement in Zimbabwe, another nearly 3.9 million for LGBTQI democracy
  278. 20:27grants in the Balkans.
  279. 20:30These are things that Democrats are insisting to include in the funding measure that were
  280. 20:33removed in the one big beautiful bill. You know stuff like that. Another 2 million for
  281. 20:37quote organizing for feminist democratic principles in Africa, in quote. These are things that were
  282. 20:43USAID projects, of course. Yeah, the Democrats want to put back in place.
  283. 20:49But the thing, the reason why I'm raising this is you don't see a lot of coverage of this.
  284. 20:55You know, the government shut down, well, you know, military family members pay,
  285. 21:00is suspended, thankfully President Trump is reallocating unspent funds to cover military
  286. 21:06pay and making adjustments to pay our military service members during the government shutdown.
  287. 21:15But usually you have a lot more consternation and hand-ringing and Republicans want to throw
  288. 21:21Grandmama off of a cliff.
  289. 21:23But you don't see a lot of that.
  290. 21:26Is that not a tacit admission that they know?
  291. 21:30This is a Chuckie Duck humor shut down.
  292. 21:33Is that not a tacit admission that they realize, we don't really want to get the American people
  293. 21:40to give too much attention to this because then they will begin to realize it is a Democrat
  294. 21:46shenanigans that is happening and much of it guys largely and this is so sad.
  295. 21:51This is this is this is one of the reasons why I hate partisanship.
  296. 21:55I hate partisanship.
  297. 21:58This is nothing more than Chuck Schumer's effort to appeal to his extremely radical,
  298. 22:06regressive base because he's trying to fend off a Senate primary challenge in New York.
  299. 22:12I hate to say I hate that that's the fact, but that is the fact you have Chuck Schumer
  300. 22:18as the leader of the Democrats, the Democrat party bosses want to give some type of display
  301. 22:23to say, Hey, even though they're Republican majorities in the house and the Senate and
  302. 22:28Republican in the White House, they want to show that they're fighting against these Republicans,
  303. 22:32because simply put President Trump's administration is winning, accomplishing things on the global stage.
  304. 22:41Most recently, we talked about what's happened with Israel. You had the bunker busting bombs in Iran.
  305. 22:48You have the things that are happening. I'm going to share some information. One of America's big
  306. 22:53three automakers just made a huge announcement to where they're going to reopen an auto plant,
  307. 22:58an auto manufacturing facility here in the States taking it away from Canada rebuilding back here.
  308. 23:03These things are happening. You literally have in several months, we went from record
  309. 23:11southern border crossings being overrun by illegal aliens to where the Trump administration has
  310. 23:15shut it down to zero. Like it's done. And you had the auto pin administration saying, oh, we gotta
  311. 23:22have this, you gotta have that, you gotta have this, gotta have that. It's like, I really don't need
  312. 23:25who needed was a new president.
  313. 23:27You know, so they're trying to, because of politics,
  314. 23:31this is so sad, but because of politics,
  315. 23:32to try to fend off the perception that they as a party
  316. 23:36are being steamrolled, and so we have a government shutdown.
  317. 23:39And so their acolytes in the media are aiding them,
  318. 23:42and I'm pointing to the show, I'm pointing to the right,
  319. 23:44because we have a big monitor in the studio
  320. 23:45with different media outlets all on the screen at once.
  321. 23:51But the media acolytes are giving cover for this
  322. 23:54because they want to give the perception
  323. 23:57that this is all anybody saying it's Democrat,
  324. 24:00it's Democrat, optimist, that's the cause of this shutdown
  325. 24:03and the protection of this shutdown.
  326. 24:05They want you to think that's just a right wing talking point.
  327. 24:07That's why they're not covering it.
  328. 24:09Because if they cover it, what are they gonna say?
  329. 24:12And it is kind of true, Democrats are the ones
  330. 24:14who forced Obama down America's throat
  331. 24:15and now they're saying, I'm sorry,
  332. 24:17who forced Obamacare down America's throat
  333. 24:19and now they're saying Obamacare was never enough.
  334. 24:21You had the Washington Post that came out
  335. 24:23and the editorial said, you know what?
  336. 24:24Obamacare, which is called the Affordable Care Act. The simple reality is it never was affordable.
  337. 24:30We expected that one was an imposed. So they're not covering it because they cannot cover it in
  338. 24:36the type of slant they didn't want to cover it. So they are lying by omission because they want to,
  339. 24:41they want to present the perception for the American people that I was going to shut down.
  340. 24:47It's just it's approaching one of the longest in American history, by the way.
  341. 24:50The longest one on record was 35 days.
  342. 24:55That was from January 22nd, 2018 to January 25th, 2019.
  343. 25:00That was the longest government shutdown in American history.
  344. 25:0235 days.
  345. 25:03We're at day 15.
  346. 25:09Interesting, isn't it?
  347. 25:12Why isn't it the number one story in America right now?
  348. 25:14Sure, there's other things we're talking about, but you're not going to talk about it at all.
  349. 25:19into speaker mike johnson talking about the contrast
  350. 25:23uh... that is contributing to the prolonging of this government shut down
  351. 25:29it is put number five listen to and watch clip number five
  352. 25:32clip number five
  353. 25:34there's a i'll leave you this is a very you've heard the word contrast your
  354. 25:37number times today
  355. 25:39so grateful for these means street caucus leaders who came and help us articulate
  356. 25:42this contrast
  357. 25:43i'll just say this again you have to parties on a split screen right now
  358. 25:48You have President Trump and the Republican Party
  359. 25:50reducing your taxes, cutting taxes,
  360. 25:52cutting government red tape,
  361. 25:54and regulations to get the economy going again,
  362. 25:56passing historic legislation to boost the economy
  363. 25:58and bring down the cost of living.
  364. 26:00You have Republicans who have ended the border crisis,
  365. 26:03almost zero illegal crossings in the last four months.
  366. 26:05You have Republicans who are working to end the crime crisis
  367. 26:08and support law enforcement and ICE officers
  368. 26:10and all those who are wearing that badge
  369. 26:12and putting their lives on the line
  370. 26:13and supporting our troops as we talked about today.
  371. 26:15You have Republicans who are ending fraud,
  372. 26:17and abuse in government and making government work more efficiently and
  373. 26:19effectively for the people and you have president Trump and the White House and
  374. 26:22his administration ending conflicts that are killing millions of people around the
  375. 26:27world. What have Democrats accomplished in the last nine months? A government shutdown.
  376. 26:32I mean the contrast between these parties could not be any more stark and I
  377. 26:36encourage you to watch what we call the hate America rally that will happen
  378. 26:39Saturday. Let's see who shows up for that. I bet you see pro-homogeneous supporters, I
  379. 26:44I bet you see Antifa types.
  380. 26:46I bet you see the Marxist in full display, the people who don't want to stand and defend
  381. 26:52the foundational truths of this republic.
  382. 26:54And we do.
  383. 26:55And that's what we're here doing every single day.
  384. 26:57And I will continue to come in every morning and tell the American people the plain and
  385. 27:01simple facts because the facts are going to win the day here.
  386. 27:04The American people are not stupid.
  387. 27:06They see what's going on and they know who's to blame.
  388. 27:09I truly hope so, man, because I'm just thinking about how much money is going to be.
  389. 27:15many conversations I had with people leading up to the 2020
  390. 27:18presidential election and how many people that I talked to
  391. 27:21personally, who had no clue about 100 Biden's laptop literally
  392. 27:27just didn't know. And so when you have kind of this, this
  393. 27:32blackout in the media concerning this shutdown, it ends up with
  394. 27:38people not really knowing what's really going on. Like, Oh, yeah,
  395. 27:41there really is a government shutdown. But when they feel
  396. 27:47their preferred party has an argument, it's all over the media.
  397. 27:51But I would submit to you that is an admission that they know.
  398. 27:58The best thing for us to do is to act like it's not happening and not discuss it.
  399. 28:03Because if we have to discuss it, we have to get down to the nitty gritty.
  400. 28:07And the reality is that the Republicans and the House of Representatives passed a budget
  401. 28:11measure over to the Senate.
  402. 28:16And it didn't include any like additional Republican operatives or preferences.
  403. 28:22It's the same stuff that Democrats voted for back in March.
  404. 28:24So it would change.
  405. 28:28Speaker Johnson continues his conversation and he highlights some of the things that when
  406. 28:34the house passed their bill, they brought it over to the Senate.
  407. 28:38The counter presented by the Democrats in the Senate includes some of the ridiculous stuff
  408. 28:43I mentioned to you.
  409. 28:44to and watch clip number four clip four go and they would send a half a billion
  410. 28:49dollars to liberal news outlets by refunding the corporation for public
  411. 28:53broadcasting it would also restore up to five billion dollars of american tax
  412. 28:59payer funds for wasteful spending for international projects here's a couple
  413. 29:04of examples this is in their legislation their counter proposal on the c r
  414. 29:07to keep the lights open this is what they want to do they want to spend 24.6
  415. 29:11million of your hard-earned dollars as a taxpayer for climate resilience in Honduras.
  416. 29:16They want to spend $13.4 million for civic engagement in Zimbabwe.
  417. 29:21They want to send $3.9 million for LGBTQI plus democracy grants in the Western Balkans.
  418. 29:29They want to spend $2.9 million of your dollars for desert locust risk reduction in the Horn
  419. 29:34of Africa.
  420. 29:35and two million for quote organizing for feminist democratic principles in Africa.
  421. 29:41We are not doing that.
  422. 29:50These are the kind of things that are in these are the kinds of things that are in their
  423. 29:59proposal.
  424. 30:00Now I want to be clear.
  425. 30:01I understand a hundred percent that Republican is not synonymous.
  426. 30:10First of all with Christian, let's just be clear about that.
  427. 30:13generally GOP member Republican is not synonymous with constitutionalists.
  428. 30:17So I don't want anybody to think that I'm I'm stating that because that is not what I'm
  429. 30:22saying.
  430. 30:23But what I am saying is that when it comes to this government shutdown, it's pretty clear
  431. 30:28that it is a partisan shutdown.
  432. 30:31And you have, this is the honest truth.
  433. 30:35You have Democrats throwing a conipption fit simply because they lost.
  434. 30:41They're not in power.
  435. 30:42And so they're using their position as a minority to try to appeal to their voting bases as midterms
  436. 30:47are approaching to say, see, we're willing to stand up to the GOP.
  437. 30:52And they know they have their buddies in the media that's not going to place attention
  438. 30:56on what they're doing.
  439. 30:57So it's giving air cover, it's giving air cover as the government shutdown just continues
  440. 31:02on a couple weeks, you know, there's some saying that the Democrats are going to try
  441. 31:06try to extend it so that it can get beyond this, you know, this so-called no-kings rally, whatever
  442. 31:12the next one that's coming up.
  443. 31:13And then after that, they're gonna, they're gonna, they're gonna, they're gonna, they're
  444. 31:15gonna go ahead and agree to the bill.
  445. 31:19But it's just frustrating.
  446. 31:20And then here's the other part.
  447. 31:22Is anybody gonna face any consequences for this?
  448. 31:25Do you, do we expect Democrat representatives and senators to be held accountable by their
  449. 31:31constituencies?
  450. 31:35And so they're willing to play footsy with the government shutdown as long as it fits
  451. 31:41their political objectives and the media helps by giving air cover for it.
  452. 31:46But just go back, do your own searches and see how previous government shut downs
  453. 31:50would cover and how the media went overboard, you know,
  454. 31:56talking about the details of it, highlighting this, making these arguments,
  455. 32:00throw them out from the train, all these other kinds of things.
  456. 32:02And now it's, it's, it's radio silence almost on the issue.
  457. 32:09And that's an admission that they know that it's a house of cards that the shut
  458. 32:15down was absolutely unnecessary. It's literally nothing but playing politics literally nothing.
  459. 32:22You have these people who fought tooth and nail to get Obamacare passed who literally
  460. 32:26shut it down the government because this is an Obamacare was not enough. That's not enough.
  461. 32:31We need to have these enhanced subsidies and make them permanent. We need to have these enhanced
  462. 32:35subsidies that include health care, taxpayer funded health care provision for illegal aliens,
  463. 32:42The restoration of the USAID kind of funding, $24.6 million for climate resilience and Honduras.
  464. 32:49$13.4 million for civic engagement in Zimbabwe.
  465. 32:55Are you kidding me?
  466. 32:57$3.9 million in LGBTQI plus democracy grants in the Balkans.
  467. 33:03It's absurd, guys.
  468. 33:05It's absurd.
  469. 33:06Don't forget $2.9 million in desert locus reduction in Africa.
  470. 33:12$2 million to organizing for feminist democratic principles in Africa.
  471. 33:17This is absurd.
  472. 33:20This is absurd.
  473. 33:21And if we had the Fourth Estate, they will be blasting these absurdities day in, day out
  474. 33:30to force these public servants to serve publicly.
  475. 33:35Instead, they are 100% in agreement with the politicization of the budget so that the government
  476. 33:44shut down can continue for political purposes. And so that all of these shucky-ducky quacks
  477. 33:49and others can say, see in their primary races, see, we stood up to the big bad GOP.

  497. 35:01Opposition to Israel.
  498. 35:03This is David Wheaton, host of the Christian worldview.
  499. 35:06It's been two years since the Islamist group Hamas
  500. 35:09executed a sneak attack that killed
  501. 35:111300 civilians in Israel.
  502. 35:14Any rational nation would work to eliminate
  503. 35:16this kind of threat, and that is what Israel has done with Hamas and Gaza.
  504. 35:21So why the widespread opposition to Israel and the Jews?
  505. 35:25Disproportionate response and land ownership debates are often mentioned, but there's
  506. 35:30also an evil spiritual inspiration.
  507. 35:33Satan seeks to destroy the Jewish people so God's promises to them won't be fulfilled.
  508. 35:39Scripture says, God has not rejected his people, has he?
  509. 35:43May it never be.

  516. 36:15Welcome back to the Hamilton Corner, Abraham Hamilton the third here.
  517. 36:18I want to remind you that you are invited.
  518. 36:20If you're in the area or willing to come to the area,
  519. 36:23you are invited to Darbonne Church of Christ
  520. 36:26this Friday, Saturday and Sunday,
  521. 36:29whereby God's grace I will be ministering
  522. 36:31this weekend at the church.
  523. 36:34Looking forward to returning.
  524. 36:35This will be my second time coming to this particular church
  525. 36:39in this area of North Louisiana.
  526. 36:41The church is located at 1148 Stirlington Highway
  527. 36:45in Farmerville, Louisiana, zip code 71241.
  528. 36:48That is 1148 Stirlington Highway,
  529. 36:52Farmerville, Louisiana, 7121,
  530. 36:55as a zip code, it is Darbonne Church of Christ
  531. 36:58in North Louisiana.
  532. 37:00If you're in the area, I'd love to see you there.
  533. 37:02If you can make it to the area,
  534. 37:03I'd love to see you there as well.
  535. 37:05All right, some good news coming to us
  536. 37:08from the automotive industry, Stellontis,
  537. 37:11which is one of America's big three automakers.
  538. 37:15Stellantis formally was Chrysler. Okay, Stellantis is now, I mean, Chrysler is now Stellantis.
  539. 37:21And so, you with me, Marty, I did I lose you? Right. What is this? The Lantis. Good question.
  540. 37:28So the big three automakers in America currently are Ford Motor Company. The Ford Motor Company
  541. 37:33and I said the Ford Motor Company. Man, I cannot talk today. General Motors and Stellantis,
  542. 37:42was Chrysler. Hey, I'm just telling you. Well, the Lontis had previously planned to make its
  543. 37:53Jeep Compass at the Brampton Assembly Plant in Ontario, Canada. Not so fast, my friend.
  544. 38:03Now, they have announced that they will reopen a plant in Belvedere, Illinois to make their
  545. 38:11Jeep Compass, they were going to repurpose the Ontario plant for electric vehicles, but
  546. 38:19they put that on pause.
  547. 38:21And so much to the chagrin of our friends to the North, our neighbors to the North and
  548. 38:25Canada, that they are moving, frankly, those 5,000 jobs back into the United States of America
  549. 38:31to construct their Jeep Compass at the Belvedere, Illinois plant that they're reopening in the
  550. 38:38United States of America.
  551. 38:39In addition to that, Stellantis has planned to invest $13 billion over the next four years
  552. 38:49to grow its business in the critical United States market and to increase its domestic manufacturing
  553. 38:55footprint.
  554. 38:56Stellantis issued a statement in which they said, quote, the investment is the largest
  555. 39:00in the company's 100-year U.S. history and will support the introduction of five new vehicles
  556. 39:06across the brand portfolio and key segments, production of all the new, production of the
  557. 39:12all new four-cylinder engine and the addition of more than 5,000 jobs at plants in Illinois,
  558. 39:19Ohio, Michigan and Indiana."
  559. 39:23So the Jeep Compass, effective immediately, will begin production in the United States
  560. 39:33of America at the newly reopened plant in Belvedere, Illinois. That's good news. That's
  561. 39:43good news. I have an update for you with the gubernatorial election and frankly the all
  562. 39:49of the elections in Virginia that's coming up in a few weeks where that we played the clip
  563. 39:56yesterday where Lieutenant Governor Winston Sears who's running for governor called on
  564. 40:01Abigail Spamberger to require Jay Jones to step out of the race.
  565. 40:06Step out of the race.
  566. 40:08Abigail Spamberger has been crisscrossing the state of Virginia with Jay Jones, had been
  567. 40:19campaigning with him to be elected to the highest offices because they're trying to reverse what
  568. 40:28happened in the last election cycle that we had Governor Glenn Youngkin elected, went some
  569. 40:34Sears was elected as Lieutenant Governor Jason Meyaris was elected as Attorney General.
  570. 40:39Well, she, Abigail Spamberger, as well as Jay Jones and Gazala Hashmi have been campaigning
  571. 40:49to do the opposite because as a Democrat candidate Spamberger is running for Governor, Jay Jones
  572. 40:54is running for Attorney General and Gazala Hashmi is running for Lieutenant Governor.
  573. 40:59Well, further confirming the fact that Spamberger refuses to require Jay Jones to step out of
  574. 41:05the race step out of the race, you know, after he wished death upon Republican elected officials
  575. 41:11and for their children to die because of them having a difference of opinion on a policy matter
  576. 41:19in that wild.
  577. 41:21A little internet sleuthing had a stumble across just as recently as today.
  578. 41:28The Abigail Spamburger is still selling merchandise on her website advertising her campaign with
  579. 41:34Jay Jones and gazala has me.
  580. 41:37If you would, Mr. McIntosh,
  581. 41:39would you please put it on the screen for the people?
  582. 41:41Well, you can see T-shirts and bumper stickers
  583. 41:44that say Spamburger, Hasmy and Jones.
  584. 41:47Spamburger, Hasmy and Jones.
  585. 41:49Spamburger, Hasmy and Jones.
  586. 41:52The little trio, like an Oreo cookie,
  587. 41:54two sides with the cream in the middle.
  588. 41:59Once again, showing that these people really
  589. 42:02don't want to have a big problem with political violence.
  590. 42:04I mean, you know, if you're going to make an omelet,
  591. 42:06you got to crack a few eggs, you know?
  592. 42:10That was today, guys.
  593. 42:11That was today.
  594. 42:13Again, people in Virginia, you have a choice before you.
  595. 42:18That's the kind of guy you want in office
  596. 42:21and that's the kind of person you want to be governor.
  597. 42:24If she doesn't even have the courage to say,
  598. 42:25ah, nah, this is not acceptable.
  599. 42:28You're that committed to partisan affiliations that, you know,
  600. 42:34I'm not going to request him to step out of the race.
  601. 42:38That's wild to me.
  602. 42:41All right, moving on.
  603. 42:43Yesterday, I told you guys about, you know, the contrasting
  604. 42:46perspectives where you had President Trump at the White
  605. 42:49House saying that, you know, Hamas has to disarm.
  606. 42:53They will either disarm willingly or they will be disarmed.
  607. 42:57Remember that?
  608. 42:57I played that audio on the clip.
  609. 43:01You know, I played that audio and I played the video on the show
  610. 43:03yesterday and I contrasted that with reports that we have from the
  611. 43:06Middle East.
  612. 43:07And I shared the reports from Reuters that showed that now that the Israeli Defense Forces have withdrawn from Gaza to the yellow line
  613. 43:15That Hamas has come out of their tunnels and they're executing people in the middle of Gaza City. They rounded up
  614. 43:23seven men
  615. 43:25Blew them away and brought in front of everybody in the middle of Gaza City
  616. 43:29They're enacting retribution against people. They feel like cooperated with Israel against them. Oh, yeah
  617. 43:35And so today the US Cintcom commander, Admiral Brad Cooper, they issued a statement warning
  618. 43:46Hamas to disarm immediately.
  619. 43:50Jeff would you put that on the screen for the people issued a statement today?
  620. 43:58We know it before they get on the screen because I'll read it right off the screen.
  621. 44:01I have the paper here and I'll start.
  622. 44:05Yes, this is from US Cintcom commander, Admiral Brad Cooper says, quote, we strongly urge
  623. 44:10a mosque to immediately suspend violence and shooting innocent civilians in Gaza.
  624. 44:15I'm going to just pause for a second.
  625. 44:19Leave it on the screen, please, Jeff.
  626. 44:21Shooting innocent civilians in Gaza.
  627. 44:23Where are all the people in America that was on this free, free Palestine?
  628. 44:28Where are all the college students?
  629. 44:30Do y'all see this?
  630. 44:31Are y'all aware that this is happening?
  631. 44:33That Hamas is killing Arabs in Gaza?
  632. 44:36Today?
  633. 44:37Well, yesterday, that was yesterday.
  634. 44:40now back to the sitcom commander statement. We quote, we strongly urge a mosque immediately
  635. 44:48suspend violence and shooting at innocent civilians in Gaza in both in both Hamas held parts of
  636. 44:54Gaza and those secured by the IDF behind the yellow line. This is an historic opportunity
  637. 45:00for peace. Hamas should seize it by fully standing down strictly adhering to president
  638. 45:06Trump's 20 point peace plan and disarming without delay. We have conveyed our concerns
  639. 45:11to the mediators who agreed to work with us to enforce the peace and protect innocent Gaza
  640. 45:15civilians. We remain highly optimistic for the future of peace in the region. In quote,
  641. 45:21Admiral Brad Cooper, Sintcom commander, they had taken advantage of the peace to take vengeance
  642. 45:36on brave Gaza to a willing to stand up against the brutality of a miles. Not surprisingly,
  643. 45:47We have things happening in our country. You have a
  644. 45:51Oh, Zoram mom Donnie who can't lift 135 on the bench
  645. 45:56You can't did you see that video Marty? He was on a campaign stop and he was supposed to have some dudes lifting weights
  646. 46:04Yeah, let me get in let me jump in he couldn't he couldn't get it up. Yeah, literally he was just like that
  647. 46:08He couldn't get it up. He was interviewed on on by Martha McCallum and Martha McCallum as Zoram. I'm Donnie if he
  648. 46:20He believed Hamas should give up their weapons.
  649. 46:24What do ya'll think, Zoron ?
  650. 46:27Zoron from the movie Big?
  651. 46:29What do you think Zoron said ?
  652. 46:37What do ya'll think Zoron said?
  653. 46:39You don't have to wonder anymore, I'll let you hear for
  654. 46:41yourselves, listen to and watch clip number three,
  655. 46:43clip three, go.
  656. 46:45And to one that's affordable for each and every
  657. 46:47New Yorker.
  658. 46:48But okay, and I wanna get to that, absolutely.
  659. 46:50But do you believe that Hamas should lay down their weapons
  660. 46:53and leave the leadership in Gaza?
  661. 46:55I believe that any future here in New York City
  662. 46:58is one that we have to make sure that's affordable for all.
  663. 47:00And as it pertains to Israel and Palestine,
  664. 47:03that we have to ensure that there is peace.
  665. 47:04And that is the future that we have to fight for.
  666. 47:06But you won't say that Hamas should lay down their arms
  667. 47:08and give up leadership in Gaza.
  668. 47:10I don't really have opinions about the future of Hamas
  669. 47:12and Israel beyond the question of justice and safety
  670. 47:15and the fact that anything has to abide
  671. 47:17by international law.
  672. 47:18and that applies to Hamas, that applies to the Israeli military, applies to anyone you
  673. 47:21could ask me about.
  674. 47:22Okay.
  675. 47:23One last thought on that.
  676. 47:24You have said that you would arrest Netanyahu if he came to the United States.
  677. 47:27You've been very outspoken.
  678. 47:29This dude say he doesn't have an opinion about Hamas.
  679. 47:33When he literally said, as Mayor of New York, he would see to it that B.B.
  680. 47:40Netanyahu was arrested, he said this.
  681. 47:44Now why is it significant?
  682. 47:45Because the United Nations meets in New York City.
  683. 47:51So this man has said he thinks BBN Yahoo should be arrested.
  684. 47:54He would see to it that BBN Yahoo was arrested.
  685. 47:56But now he says, well, I don't have an opinion.
  686. 48:00As to whether that have Masha laid down their arms.
  687. 48:02Oh, oh, but see this, you know, the internet,
  688. 48:06man, you think it's temporary, but it's forever.
  689. 48:09He doesn't have an opinion about Hamas.
  690. 48:11Won't say that Hamas should lay down their weapons.
  691. 48:14But you know what he did say?
  692. 48:15Y'all can go look to stuff for yourself
  693. 48:17on May 25th, 2022 in the year of our Lord 2022.
  694. 48:22Zoron Mom Donny tweeted, quote, we need to ban all guns in quote.
  695. 48:28So Zoron Mom Donny felt like guns needed to be banned in the United States of America,
  696. 48:34but he won't say Hamas should put down their guns.
  697. 48:36Isn't that interesting?
  698. 48:38Isn't that interesting?
  699. 48:40Hmm.
  700. 48:43This is this marinate on that for a second.
  701. 48:48Americans guns need to be banned in America, but this do won't even say Hamas should put
  702. 48:52down their guns.
  703. 48:53Boy, boy, oh boy, oh boy.
  704. 48:56What an interesting, interesting, interesting phenomenon.
  705. 48:59And if that's not enough regressiveism with the foolishness du jour, here's another hit
  706. 49:04for you from the Pacific Northwest.
  707. 49:08Based upon the new budget documents proposed in the state of Oregon, they are now poised
  708. 49:14to spend more on programs offering free healthcare to illegal immigrants than they're spending
  709. 49:21on law enforcement in the state.
  710. 49:23This is in Oregon.
  711. 49:27According to the current budget period, they'll spend more on free health care for legal immigrants.
  712. 49:32And then they do on state police by $500 million.
  713. 49:38Oregon is expected to spend $1.5 billion in combined state and federal taxpayer dollars
  714. 49:43on a program that offers health benefits to illegal aliens from 2025 to 2027.
  715. 49:49they expect to only spend a combined 717 million on Oregon State police over the same time period.
  716. 49:57The state's health agency, the Oregon Health Authority acknowledged that the state expects
  717. 50:04to allocate the $1.5 billion in the program originally named, quote, cover all people,
  718. 50:13in quote, they changed the name of the program, you see, because they cover all people's a
  719. 50:17a little too much on the nose, right?
  720. 50:19You can't say that.
  721. 50:20So they changed the name of the program
  722. 50:22that's now called, quote, healthier Oregon program,
  723. 50:25end quote, see.
  724. 50:28They don't want you to be so obvious
  725. 50:32that they're using taxpayer dollars
  726. 50:34to provide healthcare benefits to illegal aliens.
  727. 50:45Guys, you can't have make this stuff up.
  728. 50:46So you're gonna spend more on healthcare for illegal aliens
  729. 50:49and you're gonna do on state police
  730. 50:51in the state of Oregon. 2025 to 2027.
  731. 50:55Fooless is to your, there you have it.
  732. 50:59So I'm grateful for the automakers
  733. 51:02moving the Jeep Compass manufacturing
  734. 51:05into the United States of America.
  735. 51:08But man, we need to pray for our country
  736. 51:10because the greatest and most enduring need
  737. 51:12in our nation is repentance.
  738. 51:14It's for repentance.
  739. 51:16And we cannot forget that there is a blindness
  740. 51:18the scripture says that the God of this world
  741. 51:20has blinded their eyes.
  742. 51:24is high time for all hands on deck, man.
  743. 51:28Pray for our nation, consider how God will have you respond
  744. 51:32and buy his grace emboldened by his spirit,
  745. 51:34act with courage.
