  1. 0:00Darkness is not an affirmative force.
  2. 0:03It simply reoccupies the space vacated by the light.
  3. 0:07This is the Hamilton Corner on American Family Radio.
  4. 0:11It should be uncomfortable for a believer to live as a hypocrite.
  5. 0:15Delivery people out of the bondage of mainstream media.
  6. 0:18And the philosophies of this world.
  7. 0:20God has called you and me to be his ambassador.
  8. 0:24Even in this dark moment.
  9. 0:26Let's not miss our moment.
  10. 0:29and now the Hamilton Corner.
  11. 0:32Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.
  12. 0:38Hi, Alex McFarland here. Good evening America.
  13. 0:41It is a great honor to be with you on the American Family Radio Network.
  14. 0:46And I'm sitting in for attorney, pastor, journalist, broadcaster, colleague, and friend,
  15. 0:52Abe Hamilton III. And I'm very honored to be sitting in for Abe.
  16. 0:56We've got a great show today. I want to talk about some headlines. Already, even though we're only
  17. 1:04just under 60 days in, they're talking about Trump's first 100 days. Are things moving too quickly?
  18. 1:12Are things moving in the right direction? Are things not moving in the right direction?
  19. 1:18Hey, maybe even what about Tesla stock? You're seeing in the news how the cyber trucks and Tesla
  20. 1:26charging stations are being vandalized. Isn't it interesting? Isn't it interesting? Just months
  21. 1:33ago, Tesla EVs were the darling product of green conscientious left-leaning Americans,
  22. 1:44and now they're getting trashed and vandalized. What do you think about that? I want to take
  23. 1:49some calls in Midway through the show. We've got a great friend, Christian thinker, Caleb
  24. 1:54Collier that will be on with us. But right now I would love to hear from you and we can
  25. 2:00talk about the state of the nation. The number is 8589840. Triple 8589840. Now just a little
  26. 2:16bit of update. I've got some updates about what's been going on in my world. We were
  27. 2:22two and a half weeks ago at National Religious Broadcasters, NRB, and that was a great thing.
  28. 2:27I was there broadcasting and there were, you know, a lot of AFA people there and then we
  29. 2:33had the privilege of interviewing Eric Mataksas and Dr. Robert Jeffers from First Baptist Dallas
  30. 2:40and then people like Eric Mataksas and Jenna Ellis.
  31. 2:45It was really, really fun.
  32. 2:47And I went from there to Wichita, Kansas.
  33. 2:50We had a great event out there.
  34. 2:52I was in Indianapolis, Indiana.
  35. 2:55And so God is so good.
  36. 2:57Let me make you aware, if you don't mind, listen carefully, we have a couple of things we've
  37. 3:01got going on, summertime's coming.
  38. 3:05And I've got seven youth camps that we do.
  39. 3:08We do youth camps every summer.
  40. 3:11And they're all over Montana, Georgia.
  41. 3:14The website for my youth biblical worldview camps is equipretreat.org.
  42. 3:20Equipretreat.org and we'll have about 1,200 teenagers and we have kids get saved every
  43. 3:28summer.
  44. 3:29I mean that's the main message is believe in Jesus and be saved.
  45. 3:32But we talk about citizenship.
  46. 3:36All the things we talk about on American Family Radio, we talk about being a citizen and living
  47. 3:43for Christ, Salt and Light in the culture.
  48. 3:45And let me just say the kids eat it up.
  49. 3:49By the way, good news about the increase in Bible sales.
  50. 3:54Maybe you've seen this, that the sale of God's Word is going up and the people buying the
  51. 4:02Bibles are mostly younger, late teens and 20-somethings.
  52. 4:08But our camps are flourishing.
  53. 4:12And I guess I would like to believe that after 25 years of doing all these youth camps, you
  54. 4:18know, maybe a little bit of the turnaround and the turn away from secularism back to Christianity,
  55. 4:27church involvement, family, faith, maybe God's along what we're doing to play a small role
  56. 4:34in that.
  57. 4:35But here's what I was going to tell you.
  58. 4:37We've got a camp in the Richmond area and we've never done this before, but we rented
  59. 4:43a camp in an hour from Richmond and we really need to succeed with that camp.
  60. 4:51So look on the website if you would equipretreat.org and wherever we are in your part of the USA
  61. 4:59come summer.
  62. 5:00Well, let's sign up some middle school and high schoolers to go to camp.
  63. 5:04The other thing, and then I'm going to go to calls, and we've got a number of people calling
  64. 5:10in, AAA, 589, 8840.
  65. 5:13I have a speaker series, so we do a lot for the teens.
  66. 5:17Well, we've got something for grownups too.
  67. 5:20I call this conversations that matter.
  68. 5:23Listen very carefully.
  69. 5:25Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, number one resort town in America.
  70. 5:3017.2 million people a year from all 50 states they go to Myrtle Beach
  71. 5:36So there there are music theaters down there kind of like Branson, Missouri, right?
  72. 5:41So I've rented theaters and we've got speakers are it May 4th
  73. 5:47We have Dinesh, De Sousa amazing brilliant Dinesh served in the Reagan White House
  74. 5:54He made some great films like 2000 mules
  75. 5:57schools will in person, Dinesh will be there May 4th.
  76. 6:02And so the website for all my speakers, August 21, Charlie Kirk.
  77. 6:09We just went live with the website this morning.
  78. 6:13And it's AlexMcFarlane.com slash conversations.
  79. 6:19That's the website, AlexMcFarlane.com slash conversations.
  80. 6:24went live with his website this morning and we've already sold 36 tickets for
  81. 6:28Charlie Kirk and that's not till August but we really want to start strong so
  82. 6:34please if you or anyone you know is in the Myrtle Beach area for May 4th come out
  83. 6:42and here Dinesh De Sousa and I've got much more to say about that I've got two
  84. 6:46lunches free lunch lunches on me to promote the speaker series I'll tell you
  85. 6:52more about that in a little bit right now i want to go to joe in ohio
  86. 6:58first caller of the night
  87. 6:59the hamilton corner
  88. 7:00alex mccarland
  89. 7:02joe from ohio welcome to the program
  90. 7:06hey uh... mister mccarland thank you for all that you do and uh... filling in
  91. 7:10and
  92. 7:11yaj i support trump one hundred ten percent of support musk a hundred ten
  93. 7:15percent
  94. 7:16uh... it should be surprising that the you know the liberals you know from down
  95. 7:20the violence you know whether it's in the
  96. 7:23you know the riots that you
  97. 7:25five hundred fifty six right they had the one summer
  98. 7:29or you know that
  99. 7:30the violence that the uh...
  100. 7:33october seventh attack on israel
  101. 7:36but
  102. 7:36that that's what they could be they condone and that's what they push and uh...
  103. 7:41i just support all of them i mean they they've been attacked everybody know
  104. 7:45chompa courses are number one enemy and now it's
  105. 7:48it's must but what they did the ironic thing is a lot of times
  106. 7:52they are attacking like they're burning down the cities they were burning down
  107. 7:56were were liberal-run cities
  108. 7:59uh...
  109. 8:00by destroying the e-v-e and a lot of the
  110. 8:03a lot of the liberals were the ones that purchase the e-v's in the first place
  111. 8:06and now
  112. 8:08all the liberals that the bot the e-v's and i can be able to charge them because
  113. 8:11they're you know damage in their their charging station so it's
  114. 8:15kind of running to see the liberals attack the liberals you know just like
  115. 8:18Joe Biden was no longer a useful idiot for him.
  116. 8:21They threw him under the boss.
  117. 8:23So it's typical, but I support all the conservatives.
  118. 8:29Cash Patel, you know, he'll then come under attack.
  119. 8:33I'm sure Pam Bondi's under attack, Rudy Giuliani.
  120. 8:37I mean, go right down the list.
  121. 8:38It shouldn't surprise any of us,
  122. 8:40but God bless you and what you do
  123. 8:42and keep getting the word out.
  124. 8:44Well, thank you, thank you, Joe.
  125. 8:46God bless you.
  126. 8:47You know, well, we're just passionate about truth, passionate about Christ and His Word,
  127. 8:52but passionate about this country.
  128. 8:54And you make a really good point that the liberals cannibalize each other.
  129. 8:58I mean, they really do.
  130. 9:00And let me just say this in the big scheme of things.
  131. 9:05Very often, the left, they use the tools of liberty to undermine liberty.
  132. 9:12Now I think about this, the left is tolerance, tolerance, tolerance.
  133. 9:17And yet they would not tolerate the religion of America's founders that gave us a diverse
  134. 9:24tolerant America.
  135. 9:26Now, there are limits to diversity, but here's the rub.
  136. 9:33We have a Judeo-Christian representative republic.
  137. 9:38It is not a democracy.
  138. 9:40That's mob rule.
  139. 9:42Plato wrote the Republic, among other things, 22 centuries ago. It was really a warning against
  140. 9:52this pervasive democracy that's really like mob rule. We have basically a Presbyterian form
  141. 10:01of government. In the Presbyterian Church, the members appoint elders and the elders in a conscientious
  142. 10:09way represent the constituents. Well, that's what our Congress and House are like. It's
  143. 10:17a representative republic. But here's what the left is doing. And many of them, they don't
  144. 10:23realize this, but they are contributing to really a perpetual state of unrest, turmoil,
  145. 10:33anarchy. And that is straight out of the playbook of Marxism.
  146. 10:37We're going to talk more about that using the tools of freedom to dismantle freedom.
  147. 10:44We can't let that go unchecked.
  148. 10:47Let's go to Victor from Louisiana.
  149. 10:49Victor, thanks for holding.
  150. 10:51Welcome to the Hamilton Corner with your grateful host, Alex McFarland.
  151. 10:57Hello, Alex.
  152. 10:59How are you today?
  153. 11:00I'm glad to hear from you.
  154. 11:03Okay, okay. Well, Elisra, I'm you ask about the state
  155. 11:07Of America today, and I just had a quick little statement
  156. 11:12The Bible tells us that
  157. 11:14that to
  158. 11:16If we gain the to gain the whole world or what does the Prophet or man
  159. 11:22to gain the whole world and lose his soul and
  160. 11:26I think that as the election was was was coming and now has gone, you know
  161. 11:32we may be losing some things financially and we have to work around that. But I believe that
  162. 11:40if we would have lost this election, meaning that if the Democrats would have won the election,
  163. 11:47our nation would be losing its soul with all the craziness that they were pushing. And I just want
  164. 11:54to tell people, let's keep our hands tied with God, let's make sure our faith is in him and not
  165. 12:02a man but then God and then allow God to to to continue to move with America. You know the Bible
  166. 12:09tells us that God sets up kings and puts down kings. So we have to go along with what God is doing
  167. 12:16and and and and you know pray for our leaders and do what we have to do but I believe our nation
  168. 12:22was morally saved with our last election and that's all I want to say. What Will said you know you
  169. 12:28quote the verse from Mark 8, I think it's Mark 836, about what does it profit a man
  170. 12:36to gain the whole world but lose his soul. Isn't that funny? Now folks think about this.
  171. 12:43Several years ago at one of the Democrat conventions, God was booed, they booed God, and there's
  172. 12:49just been the imposition and the advocacy for so many things that besides being bad economics
  173. 12:56economics and bad government. I mean so much of what the the militant woke left has stood for is just ungodly and
  174. 13:05Look I get it. My home is heaven. My King is Jesus, but thank God
  175. 13:11Thank God that this election did not go to
  176. 13:16Tim Walz and Kamala Harris because I can promise you
  177. 13:19Kamala Harris would not have been acting president and Tim Walz would not have been vice president
  178. 13:27Basically, the Biden, I firmly believe, and I've got this from pretty good sources that
  179. 13:34Biden's presidency was really Barack Obama's third term, de facto, and Kamala would have
  180. 13:42been his fourth.
  181. 13:44Now one of my favorite quotes from January 20th Trump's inauguration speech, my favorite
  182. 13:51line of that speech. Trump said, quote, I want Congress to pass a bill permanently banning
  183. 13:58and criminalizing sex changes on children and forever ending the lie that any child is trapped
  184. 14:04in the wrong body. This is a big lie and our message to every child in America is that
  185. 14:09you are perfect. Exactly the way God made you end of quote. Thank God. Thank God that truth,
  186. 14:18morality, courage, and constitutionalism is coming back to our nation.
  187. 14:24It's not going to be a smooth ride.
  188. 14:26It's a rough ride, but we've got to be brave and bold and speak truth and pray.
  189. 14:31Well, we've got to break.
  190. 14:32We're going to come back more calls, more content on this edition of the Hamilton Corner
  191. 14:37with Alex McFarland on the American Family Radio Network.
  192. 14:41Stay tuned.
  193. 14:42We're back with more after this.
  194. 15:09a discipleship minute with Joseph Parker.
  195. 15:12Psalm 23, beginning at verse one.
  196. 15:16The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.
  197. 15:20He makes me to lie down in green pastures.
  198. 15:24He leads me beside the still waters he restores my soul.
  199. 15:29He leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
  200. 15:33Yea, do I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
  201. 15:37I will fear no evil for you are with me.
  202. 15:41You're riding your staff, they comfort me.
  203. 15:44You prepare a table before me
  204. 15:46in the presence of my enemies.
  205. 15:49You anoint my head with oil, my cup runs over.
  206. 15:53Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
  207. 15:56all the days of my life.
  208. 15:59And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
  209. 16:03All of Psalm 23.
  210. 16:09Hi, this is Jim Scudder for today's Moment in Grace.
  211. 16:12Imagine trekking through a desert,
  212. 16:14parched and weary, with no end in sight.
  213. 16:18Then someone offers you a tall, ice cold glass of lemonade.
  214. 16:23That first sip would be pure refreshment.
  215. 16:28Life often feels like a desert,
  216. 16:30burned out by news of wars, disasters, and darkness.
  217. 16:35We wonder if things will ever improve,
  218. 16:38But God doesn't want us to crawl through life parched.
  219. 16:42Staying close to Him through prayer,
  220. 16:44His word and fellowship refreshes our souls.
  221. 16:48As the hymn says,
  222. 16:49Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
  223. 16:52and the things of earth will grow strangely dim
  224. 16:55in the light of His glory and grace.
  225. 16:58No matter how troubled the world feels,
  226. 17:02refreshment is always within reach.
  227. 17:04Look to Jesus and be renewed.
  228. 17:13Shining light into the darkness. This is the Hamilton Corner on American Family Radio
  229. 17:21Welcome back to the program. We're talking about news of the day from a biblical perspective Alex McFarland here
  230. 17:28Hey, we're I'm very excited in just a few moments. I'll bring to the mic Caleb
  231. 17:32Collier colleague and friend and journalist, but you know before the break I was talking about how the left
  232. 17:38uses the tools of a constitutional free republic, but they do things that
  233. 17:46undermine constitutionalism and freedom. And you know regarding things like the
  234. 17:54you know the gay marriage that so many churches are going woke these days, you
  235. 18:00know June 26 2015, the Obergefell versus Hodges landmark decision. You know it's
  236. 18:07You know, so wild is. That was a five to four Supreme Court decision. And I was just
  237. 18:14on a show yesterday and I was being asked about, you know, why evangelical Christians
  238. 18:19would oppose gay marriage? And they said, you know, you don't have the right to cram your
  239. 18:26Bible beliefs down everybody's throat. Well, set aside the Bible for a moment, if you would.
  240. 18:33And obviously, I believe the Bible and the Bible is the holy word of God.
  241. 18:37But gay marriage allegedly trans rights and just forcing the average citizen to agree with
  242. 18:50things that they find morally abhorrent and factually incorrect.
  243. 18:56It's unconstitutional because our Constitution affirms what is called natural law.
  244. 19:03And we have natural rights based on natural law.
  245. 19:07Now, when Jefferson talked about these enumerated rights of the citizen
  246. 19:13and the founders talked about the enumerated rights of the government,
  247. 19:18you don't have artificial rights, contrived rights,
  248. 19:23beyond the rights promised by the Declaration and Constitution.
  249. 19:28Okay, life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness, right?
  250. 19:32Okay, we have legal protection for the unborn because one of the inalienable rights is the right to life.
  251. 19:42That's why when I'm in front of a secular group, I argue my pro-life position as my friend,
  252. 19:49my friend, the late atheist Christopher Hitchens, he was not a Christian, sadly, but he was an
  253. 19:54ardent pro-lifer because he said, look, you have the legal protection, the guaranteed right
  254. 20:02to life. And there's no legitimate reason that a subset of the citizenry should be selectively
  255. 20:11piecemeal at loss of one of their rights. Now when it comes to the quote unquote right
  256. 20:20for gay marriage, the quote unquote right that a cake baker should be forced to do a cake
  257. 20:28for a gay wedding, the alleged right for children to be placed in same sex homes, those are not
  258. 20:36Those are not natural rights.
  259. 20:39Those might be well argued, sophisticatedly marketed,
  260. 20:45special rights, artificial rights, contrived rights.
  261. 20:50But our Constitution is based on natural law,
  262. 20:54and therefore you are protected with your natural rights,
  263. 20:59rights that are applicable for all citizens.
  264. 21:02Life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness,
  265. 21:05That's applicable to all people.
  266. 21:08The right for your chosen pronoun and a male
  267. 21:14The whole rest of the world must be legally coerced to call a male a female
  268. 21:20That's not a right that a person can claim and that's not an
  269. 21:27Obligation that the rest of us should be forced to shoulder well, we're gonna talk more about this with my friend Caleb Collier
  270. 21:33Thank you for holding.
  271. 21:35And thanks for being with us today.
  272. 21:37Caleb, where are you patching in from today?
  273. 21:40Today you're fine.
  274. 21:41My name is...
  275. 21:42I am in my beautiful home out in the country in Spokane, Washington.
  276. 21:48Spokane, Washington.
  277. 21:50How is the political landscape in the Upper Northwest?
  278. 21:53Well, we affectionately refer to this as the Left Coast.
  279. 21:57And yeah, I feel like Washington, Oregon, and California are in a constant competition
  280. 22:02to outdo themselves with their leftist policies.
  281. 22:05And oftentimes I'll refer to Washington State as kind of the little brother of California
  282. 22:09kind of looking up to California and hey you're going to do that.
  283. 22:11Alright I'm going to do that too.
  284. 22:14And seeing maybe who can out liberal the other?
  285. 22:17Yeah, it certainly happens.
  286. 22:20We're currently fighting a number of really bad bills in Olympia.
  287. 22:24They're even potentially looking at giving the legislative body the ability to remove constitutionally
  288. 22:32elected sheriffs. So yeah, it's a fight out here.
  289. 22:36I've got so many things I want to ask you and listeners maybe you've got a
  290. 22:40question or you want to weigh in on this politically infused broadcast as
  291. 22:45well but Caleb before we go too much farther tell everybody about the church
  292. 22:49and state broadcast and I know you're soon to be if you're not already on NRB
  293. 22:56television congratulations on that but tell us about church and state.
  294. 23:00Yeah, thank you. In fact, we are on the NRB-TV network.
  295. 23:05Been so for about a week now.
  296. 23:08They can find us at East Coast Time, 430 there.
  297. 23:12But it's a half hour broadcast.
  298. 23:14I'm a former politician, I'm a Marine veteran, former EMT as well.
  299. 23:20And I've worked for a number of different political organizations.
  300. 23:23So I'm tackling the church and state and refuting the old mindset of there.
  301. 23:29needs to be a separation between the two.
  302. 23:32Were you always political, conservative,
  303. 23:36or did you come to this position, as did many of us?
  304. 23:39You know, I grew up listening to Rush Limbaugh,
  305. 23:43you know, the great one.
  306. 23:44And I'd say I was probably always conservative leaning
  307. 23:48back in high school and even in the Marine Corps.
  308. 23:52You know, I didn't necessarily care much about politics,
  309. 23:55but I served in the Marine Corps during 9-11.
  310. 23:59And watching those planes hit the towers
  311. 24:02was really a wake up call for me.
  312. 24:05Well, yeah, it was for me as well.
  313. 24:08It was for me as well.
  314. 24:09And you know, folks, let me say this,
  315. 24:13the time that we need to stir our patriotic sensibilities
  316. 24:19is before a crisis happens.
  317. 24:22I mean, really, 9-11 moved a lot of people
  318. 24:27toward patriotism, I think, you know, Caleb, I think that the lockdowns and the quarantines
  319. 24:33and the vaccine mandate alerted a lot of people to government overreach.
  320. 24:39But don't you think it's important to, Jay of K said this, I love this, John F. Kennedy
  321. 24:45said the time to repair the roof is while the sun is shining.
  322. 24:50Now wouldn't it be better folks for us to lean in close to the Lord, learn about our nation,
  323. 24:57and teach patriotism to our kids.
  324. 25:00Let's stand up for God and country
  325. 25:02while we have an opportunity,
  326. 25:05rather than before the crisis threatens our very future.
  327. 25:11I completely agree, Alex, on that one.
  328. 25:13And I loved, I was listening in a little bit
  329. 25:16on what you were talking about with natural law.
  330. 25:18And I loved that.
  331. 25:20And one of the things that I really push my audience for
  332. 25:24is to stop allowing government or the state
  333. 25:27to infringe upon rights that aren't really theirs
  334. 25:30or the authority that it'll have.
  335. 25:32And so in regards to what you were talking about
  336. 25:34with gay marriage, the solution is pretty simple.
  337. 25:38It's the free market.
  338. 25:39And if we really examine who instituted marriage,
  339. 25:43well, we know it's God as Christians,
  340. 25:45God instituted marriage.
  341. 25:46That's not a state authority.
  342. 25:48It's the church's authority.
  343. 25:49And so if we throw that to the free market
  344. 25:52and we allow churches to determine
  345. 25:54who they're going to marry,
  346. 25:55Well sure, you might have some outliers,
  347. 25:57some within the woke church that are marrying homosexuals,
  348. 26:00and on the other end,
  349. 26:02those who actually abide by what God said, they won't.
  350. 26:05And the people then will get to dictate
  351. 26:08which church they're going to support.
  352. 26:09And I have a theory on that.
  353. 26:11I believe that most Christians
  354. 26:12are gonna side with the word of God.
  355. 26:14Yeah.
  356. 26:15Oh, absolutely, absolutely.
  357. 26:18And you know, the rise of homosexual activity
  358. 26:23and the call, the push for gay marriage, and sadly,
  359. 26:27there's some woke churches that have really caved
  360. 26:30on what the Bible says.
  361. 26:31Besides, I mean, what the Bible says,
  362. 26:35but there's just what is really known
  363. 26:39and promised by natural law.
  364. 26:42Let me just say this, it's been the breakdown of the family
  365. 26:46for the last 50 years.
  366. 26:48It's been the sexualizing of the culture, the permissiveness.
  367. 26:52Since 1966, folks, there was a man named Joseph Fletcher,
  368. 26:56and he wrote a book called Situation Ethics,
  369. 26:59The New Morality, and Situation Ethics, there were others.
  370. 27:04But there were a lot of theologians and philosophers
  371. 27:08that after World War II, they were believing that,
  372. 27:14morality is relative, not absolute.
  373. 27:19life is whatever you want it to be, not what the call of God and the rule of law might
  374. 27:28say that we ought to observe. And so that's why Caleb, the 60s, and I know you do a lot of study,
  375. 27:36I've done a lot of studies, well I truly think the 60s were the most pivotal decade because
  376. 27:43I mean, you think about it, when the 60s began, you know, Lucy and Ricky were on TV and they
  377. 27:49couldn't even say the word pregnant.
  378. 27:52When the 60s ended, by 1970, it was the Woodstock Generation, there was the Drug Revolution, the
  379. 27:58Sexual Revolution, the breakdown of the family.
  380. 28:02There was the rise of feminism and sex outside of marriage.
  381. 28:091973 legal protection for the unborn was removed.
  382. 28:13Here's my point.
  383. 28:14Don't you really believe that we're kind of rebuilding
  384. 28:18after many foundations that were destroyed in the 60s.
  385. 28:25And yet for five decades,
  386. 28:27the culture has been sort of adrift.
  387. 28:29What you and I are doing,
  388. 28:30and we're calling on everybody to carefully participate in,
  389. 28:34is frankly rebuilding foundations,
  390. 28:37the destruction of which was initiated decades ago.
  391. 28:43I am right there with you.
  392. 28:46I was born until 78,
  393. 28:48so I had an experience in the 60s,
  394. 28:50but my parents were part of that.
  395. 28:52My dad most certainly engaged in the hippie culture.
  396. 28:56And it really shouldn't surprise us.
  397. 28:57The Marxists had begun this plan
  398. 29:00prior to the 60s and they infiltrated all of the systems,
  399. 29:04the education system, the religious system,
  400. 29:06the political system,
  401. 29:07And they brought about these changes.
  402. 29:10I mean, it's why every single despot throughout history
  403. 29:13has always targeted the youth.
  404. 29:15And if you down me on that, you can look at Hitler,
  405. 29:17you can look at Stalin, you can look at Mao,
  406. 29:19all of them targeted the youth to bring about their
  407. 29:22cultural revolutions.
  408. 29:24And so yes, I do agree with you, Alex.
  409. 29:26I see there was a pivot.
  410. 29:29I think you brought up COVID before.
  411. 29:31I think COVID may have been a bridge too far for Americans,
  412. 29:34that they woke up and realized
  413. 29:36and they were witnessing the police state that had been built around them.
  414. 29:40And I think collectively we kind of said no, not again.
  415. 29:44And I hope we can hold on to that.
  416. 29:46I'm praying that we can hold on to that, that if tyranny raises its ugly head,
  417. 29:51whether it be a medical crisis, I mean, they famously said,
  418. 29:55never let a good crisis go to waste.
  419. 29:57So whatever the crisis may come, I hope that we as Americans band together and say,
  420. 30:02no, we're standing for what is true and what is right.
  421. 30:04Indeed, folks, if you're just tuning in, Alex McFarland, here the voice you're hearing is
  422. 30:10my colleague and friend Caleb Collier of the church and state broadcast. Before a break,
  423. 30:17we've got time for a call. Let's go to Dennis from Missouri. Dennis, thanks for holding.
  424. 30:24Dennis, welcome to the American Family Radio Network.
  425. 30:28Thank you for taking my call and God bless you, Mr. McFarland, for all that you do. I love
  426. 30:33you guys and you and Bert and congratulations on your guests. My question may seem a little
  427. 30:39strange but I'm kind of wondering with the way things are going from a liberal perspective
  428. 30:44because your guests since you feel that California or gonna worship and never try to succeed from the
  429. 30:50union. Wow great question. Caleb the Left Coast might there be an attempt at secession?
  430. 31:00This is an idea that's been floated for quite some time, both from the left and the right,
  431. 31:06and there's been some talk of a national divorce.
  432. 31:09I got to tell you, Alex, if there is one, I'm heading down to your area.
  433. 31:13The South is, you know, there might be something said for the South Shore rise again.
  434. 31:17I don't necessarily see this as something that is going to work.
  435. 31:21I don't think they're going to allow the United States to split.
  436. 31:24And in fact, I'm kind of watching with great interest, the United Nations and the World
  437. 31:29economic forum with their plan to create these 10 regions, the 10 regions plan, which sounds
  438. 31:35really similar to Revelation. But their idea, their concept right now is to merge the United
  439. 31:41States with Canada, oh, and with Greenland, where have we heard that in the local news lately?
  440. 31:47Yeah, well, you're right about that. And thank you for the call, Dennis. You know, I pray America
  441. 31:55doesn't break up.
  442. 31:57I know that it's said that Texas has the right to secede.
  443. 32:02I've actually had people say that they don't.
  444. 32:05I don't know about that.
  445. 32:06But I really do think that it would be tragic if America
  446. 32:10broke apart.
  447. 32:11Because think about this, folks.
  448. 32:12When Jefferson had the Louisiana purchase,
  449. 32:16and that bridge of land from the Gulf of America
  450. 32:21to the Canadian border, really that middle portion
  451. 32:25of the nation. I think the Louisiana purchase was like $13 million, which at the time, I
  452. 32:31mean some in Congress just vilified Jefferson for negotiating that. And Napoleon was vilified.
  453. 32:39And France said he didn't have the authority to be a part of that deal. But here's the thing,
  454. 32:44manifest destiny. And let me invoke this in K. LeBion and I, maybe after the break we can
  455. 32:48talk about American exceptionalism. But we were able to go from sea to shining sea because
  456. 32:55of the unity of this continent.
  457. 32:58And I think, and I pray for the redemption of California
  458. 33:03and the blue states, but I think it would be tragic
  459. 33:07if America broke into fragments.
  460. 33:09What do you say, Caleb?
  461. 33:12I agree with your mindset on that.
  462. 33:15When the conservatives are talking about this,
  463. 33:18they have some good talking points and it sounds attractive,
  464. 33:21but the reality is America is a great country.
  465. 33:26And yes, do we have some problems?
  466. 33:27And are there some very problematic states within the country?
  467. 33:32Absolutely.
  468. 33:33But it would be a shame to let all that go to waste.
  469. 33:36What our Founding Fathers built, this beautiful republic,
  470. 33:40and all of the rights of the states.
  471. 33:42So no, I'm not in agreement that we should latch onto this idea.
  472. 33:48Yeah.
  473. 33:48Hey, hang on folks, got a brief break.
  474. 33:50Triple 8, 589, 8840.
  475. 33:53When we come back, call us.
  476. 34:00The feature-linked documentary Culture Warrior, Don Wildman, in the Battle for Decency, premiering
  477. 34:05November 11th, chronicles the life and ministry of Don Wildman.
  478. 34:09It takes you through the founding of the National Federation for Decency, what has become AFA.
  479. 34:14It's a call to stand firm for righteousness and shows how that resolve can make a huge
  480. 34:19difference in our world.
  481. 34:21If we lose this cultural war, we're going to have a hedonistic, humanistic society.

  503. 36:14in September we've got Lauren Green of Fox News. She's amazing. She is just one of
  504. 36:20the great journalists of our day and a Christian. And in that one, I believe it's
  505. 36:27September 15, we're going to have a roundtable about the future of the church
  506. 36:31in America and Caleb Collier will be a part of our panel that night there in

  524. 38:05Okay, enough about that.
  525. 38:07We got a lot of great stuff going on.
  526. 38:09I see some calls that we'll get to.
  527. 38:11But Caleb, tell us about the church and state broadcast and where people can keep up with
  528. 38:17the great work you're doing for this country.
  529. 38:20Yeah, thank you for that.

  536. 38:38So please check us out.
  537. 38:39And I'll be honest with you, ladies and gentlemen, I'm a controversial host and I am genuinely
  538. 38:44curious and we'll talk about anything.
  539. 38:46Well, sometimes the truth is controversial, but you're a great voice and I learned from
  540. 38:53listening to you Caleb.
  541. 38:54I'll tell you what we're going to do right now.
  542. 38:56We're going to go to Barb in Colorado.
  543. 39:00Barb in Colorado, welcome to the American Family Radio Network.
  544. 39:04All right.
  545. 39:05Thanks, Alex.
  546. 39:07My question is, do you see the New World Agenda moving forward?
  547. 39:11Oh, wow.
  548. 39:13Hey, is this Barb Reich in Colorado?
  549. 39:17God bless you. Okay. Now hang tight. Now Barb, thank you for listening. Thank you for calling.
  550. 39:23I've got to throw it to you Barb. Tell us about the illustrious career of your daughter Rachel,
  551. 39:32because she does work with Eric Metaxas.
  552. 39:35Yeah, she actually produced co-produced and directed a letter to the American church.
  553. 39:43She's an extremely talented producer, I have to say.
  554. 39:49And the film was shown all over the country at thousands of churches before the election,
  555. 39:56because that was their main goal, is to get it out there before the election so that the
  556. 40:00church would wake up and hopefully in which they did they voted for the right person.
  557. 40:08So, yeah, she's, now she has her own production company in California with her co-producer Simone,
  558. 40:16and they're working on a couple of projects.
  559. 40:20You know, Barb, that's got to be very meaningful to you.
  560. 40:23I mean, that book and documentary, Letter to the American Church, Eric Metaxas, and either
  561. 40:30privilege of interviewing your daughter, I mean, she helped move the needle, didn't she?
  562. 40:35Yes, yes, she did.
  563. 40:37Yes, she was very passionate, extremely passionate about it.
  564. 40:42So she did really well.
  565. 40:43She worked very, very hard and had a lot of things come against her,
  566. 40:48but she pushed through and it happened.
  567. 40:52So I'm very, very proud of her.
  568. 40:54Well, if you would repeat your question for Caleb and myself about
  569. 41:01new world.
  570. 41:02Do you see? Yeah.
  571. 41:03Do you see the new world agenda moving forward?
  572. 41:07Wow.
  573. 41:08you know, Caleb, you and I were talking about the regions and, you know, geopolitical boundaries.
  574. 41:15Speak to this if you wouldn't. And I have a follow-up question.
  575. 41:19Yeah, that's a great question, Barb. And let me just say this as well.
  576. 41:25Every person listening to this should go and buy two copies of the letter to the American
  577. 41:29Church, one for yourself and one for your pastor. I know when I read it, I turned around and reread
  578. 41:34it's that good of a book. So, hats off to your daughter for being a part of that. To answer your
  579. 41:40question, yes, in short, yes, I do see the New World Order agenda moving forward. You know, I hope
  580. 41:50and pray that there are people in the Trump administration that can lead him a little bit more
  581. 41:56towards the Christian doctrine, towards what we believe and what we see in the book of Revelation
  582. 42:01specifically. But you know, he's in meetings, he's calling
  583. 42:07Klaus Schwab a great guy. He's pushing for this North American
  584. 42:12merging of Canada becoming the 51st state and buying Greenland,
  585. 42:16which is part of their 10 regions plan. Elon Musk, obviously, we
  586. 42:22didn't vote for but has a lot of authority now within the United
  587. 42:25States government. He's a transhumanist, he wants to put
  588. 42:28chips in our brains with the bricks nations and working towards this central bank digital
  589. 42:35currency. There's a lot of things that are in play here right now that are all pushing
  590. 42:41towards that bee system that's described in the book of Revelation.
  591. 42:46Yeah, and let me just say this. There are no things that necessarily have to take place
  592. 42:54before the rapture. I believe the next event on world history is the rapture after which
  593. 43:02will come a seven-year tribulation and a battle of Armageddon. And Caleb, when I read in the
  594. 43:08book of Revelation about no one can buy or sell without the mark of the beast, either
  595. 43:14the hand or the forehead. I mean, my goodness, the planet is so wired up and it's basically
  596. 43:23a global surveillance state right now, even. And you know, you and I haven't talked about
  597. 43:30this, but all of these drones flying over. And you know, just back during the election,
  598. 43:37there were drones over New Jersey and all over the country. I mean, we see things in the
  599. 43:42nighttime sky that just weren't there before. This world could be under this Marxist atheistic
  600. 43:52dystopian police state like very, very, was shocking speed, couldn't it?
  601. 43:59Oh, I think we're already there. I mean, we had a story that I read about in China where
  602. 44:05they took an individual and they gave him 24 hours to go and hide in Beijing. And then
  603. 44:11they were going to release the police state on him, the surveillance state. They found
  604. 44:15that man in seven minutes. That's how good the surveillance system is. Now, granted, that's
  605. 44:20and communist China.
  606. 44:21But we all carry these phones around with us.
  607. 44:23We're so involved with tech these days
  608. 44:26that truly nothing we do or say is ever really private anymore.
  609. 44:31And yeah, I mean, with the drones,
  610. 44:33I mean, there's still a lot of mystery there.
  611. 44:35Are they drones?
  612. 44:36I mean, alien aircraft now, personally, Alex,
  613. 44:39I believe that anytime anybody's having an encounter
  614. 44:41with an alien, they're dealing with a demon.
  615. 44:44I do.
  616. 44:45Yeah, I do.
  617. 44:46But yeah, I mean, you got CERN out here,
  618. 44:48they're trying to literally said, I don't know if you saw the opening ceremonies with
  619. 44:52Cernan, Switzerland, one of the most demonic things you could possibly ever imagine. But
  620. 44:57they said they're trying to break through into a portal, once again reminiscent of what's
  621. 45:02talked about in Revelation with the keys to be abyss.
  622. 45:06Yeah, and I mean that's why we say, look folks, have your house in order. No Christ, I hope
  623. 45:13your family and your kids know the Lord. Listen, I love life and I'm planning if God
  624. 45:20allows to be preaching when I'm a hundred years old if Christ hasn't come back yet.
  625. 45:26But where we are Caleb, I look to the eastern sky any day now. I think we could
  626. 45:33see the return of Jesus really. We're gonna go to K in Kansas. K are you still
  627. 45:39holding Kay are you there? Can you hear me okay? We can welcome. Okay, I'm sorry you're on I had you on
  628. 45:48speakerphone I'm cooking dinner so anyway just taking a little pause here but I thank you Alex and
  629. 45:56I think is it Kayla there? Thank you for your ministries I just so appreciate it I do have to say I'm not a
  630. 46:06pre-trib rapture believer because of John 6 and the 4th statement, Sarah, the Lord says,
  631. 46:12about the last day. And we know that in all of it, discourse, he's going to shorten that
  632. 46:18great tribulation. We don't know how much. But here's what I want to say. No matter what
  633. 46:24happens, I love what you're talking about. I love that you are addressing this because
  634. 46:30It's not getting addressed enough, I don't think.
  635. 46:33But I think our biggest national crisis is the lack,
  636. 46:38and this sounds odd coming from a woman,
  637. 46:40so please forgive me.
  638. 46:43But that Christian men are not running for office.
  639. 46:48And we also need our churches to be healthy.
  640. 46:53We need healthy churches, God-fearing men,
  641. 46:57to go out to other churches that are unhealthy,
  642. 47:01because we carry the gospel,
  643. 47:03which we need to do that too.
  644. 47:06But where are the people gonna go to church?
  645. 47:09You know, we need to get our churches healthy,
  646. 47:11but here's a quote from, I read just real quick
  647. 47:15and then I'm done, from Matthew Henry's commentary.
  648. 47:20And I think it was when I was reading through Jeremiah
  649. 47:23that he said this, and he said,
  650. 47:26and it's just stuck with me.
  651. 47:28He said, if God's people ill use a reprieve
  652. 47:33they've been given, they are saving up for a worse judgment.
  653. 47:39It's an all hands on deck time.
  654. 47:41And thank you for taking my call.
  655. 47:43Thank you so much.
  656. 47:43And God bless you, men.
  657. 47:45God bless you.
  658. 47:46Wow.
  659. 47:47Comments.
  660. 47:48What a great call.
  661. 47:49Thank you so much.
  662. 47:50Caleb, what do you say?
  663. 47:52Yeah.
  664. 47:53I hate to disagree with you ever, Alex.
  665. 47:55but I'm actually in K's camp there.
  666. 47:56I'm not a pre-trib Rapture guy myself.
  667. 47:59I point more towards a mid-tribulation,
  668. 48:03specifically more of that seventh trumpet Rapture idea.
  669. 48:07So I do think we're gonna see some of these things
  670. 48:09that we're gonna have to live through that.
  671. 48:11But regardless, and obviously this is a secondary issue,
  672. 48:15it's not a salvation issue.
  673. 48:16I wanna see people's hearts being right with the Lord
  674. 48:19regardless of where you feel,
  675. 48:21you're gonna go through some of it,
  676. 48:22you're not going to go through some of it.
  677. 48:25But yeah, no, I agree with so much of what Kay was saying.
  678. 48:28And I'll give a little teaser, Alex.
  679. 48:32Talking about the state of the church,
  680. 48:33men's role within the church
  681. 48:35and within the political theater as well.
  682. 48:37That's something we're gonna hit hard in Myrtle Beach there.
  683. 48:40Talking about the state of the church.
  684. 48:42Exactly.
  685. 48:43And folks, the point of orthodoxy
  686. 48:46on which all Christians agree is that the Lord Jesus
  687. 48:48is coming back and Jesus will literally return
  688. 48:52and until he does we need to occupy and be salt and light.
  689. 48:55And I'm gonna say it like my mentor, Josh McDowell says it,
  690. 48:59I'm on my way to heaven and I wanna take as many people
  691. 49:02with me as I can.
  692. 49:03Hey, time fleets away, but I'm gonna see if we can get
  693. 49:05Michael from Arkansas.
  694. 49:07Hey, Michael, are you there?
  695. 49:09Yes, I'm still here, I think.
  696. 49:12Yeah, welcome.
  697. 49:13Quickly, if you don't mind, but thank you for holding.
  698. 49:15What you got, Michael?
  699. 49:17Yes, it is just a comment on how sometimes we tend to,
  700. 49:22and it's not all the secular systems and mechanisms
  701. 49:26in which the church has been absorbed in the beginning,
  702. 49:30including a lot of the great concepts
  703. 49:32on how to organize ourselves.
  704. 49:34And it seems today that sometimes we get caught
  705. 49:37into this two-side battle of communism and capitalism.
  706. 49:42And sometimes when I see from the side of the world
  707. 49:46just a normal worker, I do music sometimes.
  708. 49:51And hey, forgive me.
  709. 49:52I beg your forgiveness, Michael.
  710. 49:54I'm sorry to jump in.
  711. 49:55We're almost out of time.
  712. 49:57Hey, you know what?
  713. 49:58We're in the world.
  714. 50:00We're making a difference.
  715. 50:01We know our home is in heaven.
  716. 50:03I've said it many times, like Augustine would have said 1600
  717. 50:06years ago, till we're in the city of God.
  718. 50:09We have an obligation to the city of man.
  719. 50:12Caleb Collier, you're amazing.
  720. 50:14I appreciate your insight so much.
  721. 50:16What's next for you?
  722. 50:17Are you on tour?
  723. 50:18Are you speaking somewhere?
