  10. 0:28And now, the Hamilton Corner.
  11. 0:31Good evening, everyone.
  12. 0:34Welcome to the Hamilton Corner.
  13. 0:35My name is Abraham Hamilton, the third,
  14. 0:37ready to rock and roll with today's edition of the program.
  15. 0:42I'm joined by right across from me, our friendly neighborhood
  16. 0:45with a holic is behind the board, aiding us in delivering
  17. 0:50this signal to you.
  18. 0:53Still, of course, perpetually in recovery.
  19. 0:57And we have our produce extraordinaire
  20. 0:58the screening room often imitated never duplicated the real J.
  21. 1:01Mac is there and we are ready to rock and roll.
  22. 1:04As I mentioned with today's edition of the program at this very
  23. 1:07moment, many of you, if not most of you are making your transition
  24. 1:11from your part time jobs where you generate an income to your full
  25. 1:15time jobs where you cultivate an outcome.
  26. 1:17And as you do so, I want to remind you to do so with intentionality,
  27. 1:21understanding the primacy that God places on family and welcoming
  28. 1:25God's view to govern to guard and to guide your engagement in your families and in your
  29. 1:33homes. And if we'd welcome the Lord to grasp ahold of us in our families, if we'd welcome
  30. 1:37him to grasp us in our homes, there's no question as to what would transpire in our societies
  31. 1:49is simply true. And there is an urgency, I have an urgency in my heart, but the anchor
  32. 1:57of that urgency is because Jesus said it when you love him when he was asked about the greatest
  33. 2:06commandment, he gave to you. He said, you shall love the Lord with all your heart, your soul,
  34. 2:10your mind and your strength. And the second one is like it, you shall love your neighbor
  35. 2:15as yourself on these hang the entirety of the law and the prophets when Jesus, what Jesus
  36. 2:22was saying and saying that is that the entirety of the Hebrew scripture hangs on this reality.
  37. 2:32You know, what is often described as the golden rule, treating others, the way you want to
  38. 2:38be treated, the command to refuse partiality.
  39. 2:41That is not merely a New Testament phenomenon that dates all the way back to the book of
  40. 2:45Leviticus and the urgency that I have.
  41. 2:51And there are many in our society that conflate issues and attempt to boil things down.
  42. 2:59Well, that's merely a political issue when it's not merely a political issue.
  43. 3:05There is a concerted effort to stamp out the witness of the gospel in the whole world,
  44. 3:12including our own country.
  45. 3:13And when you see things ascending like Marxism and Islam and you see the objectives are not
  46. 3:22merely socio-political, they're not.
  47. 3:26The objectives, the demonic objective is to conceal the witness of Christ.
  48. 3:34And so when I say there's an urgency, the conviction of Christ causes me to love my
  49. 3:42neighbor. And my desire is for men and women, boys and girls to come to faith in Christ,
  50. 3:54to understand the transcendent glory and splendor of being his and to have that blessed expectation,
  51. 4:04the blessed hope of eternity in his presence. That is what motivates me. That is what causes
  52. 4:10this urgency. And I'm going to talk a bit about some things in the second segment. God could
  53. 4:17have easily caused us to live in any other country in the world. But he's made it so the
  54. 4:22overwhelming majority of this audience are like I am American citizens. We have some
  55. 4:27people that listen overseas and I'm grateful to them for that. But the bulk of this audience
  56. 4:33is comprised of American citizens.
  57. 4:36And God has allowed us this,
  58. 4:41not merely for us to enjoy creature comforts
  59. 4:44and things of that nature,
  60. 4:46but that we would have the opportunity
  61. 4:48to take advantage of the freedoms that are afforded to us,
  62. 4:51to put the lamp on the lampstand.
  63. 4:53And so we need to get out of this posture
  64. 4:58where we allow the winds of the culture
  65. 5:01to blow us to and fro,
  66. 5:04but that we are, but we must be anchored in the truth
  67. 5:07of God's holy word and that our engagement
  68. 5:11is launched from the truth of God's word.
  69. 5:16And to that point, in light of that reality,
  70. 5:20let's turn to God's holy word right now.
  71. 5:22Second Kings, chapter six.
  72. 5:26The Lord kept bringing this text to me
  73. 5:28as I was preparing for the show today.
  74. 5:31Second Kings, to the right down and right verse, yes.
  75. 5:34Chapter six, verses eight through 15
  76. 5:39is where we're going to go.
  77. 5:41Just by way of reminder, the events recorded
  78. 5:45in Second Kings, Chapter six, follow the episodes
  79. 5:49recorded in Chapter five, where there was a time
  80. 5:52of really peace between Syria and Israel,
  81. 5:56but that peace was short-lived
  82. 5:58because they had consistent warfare for time.
  83. 6:02As the borders of those two nations
  84. 6:04were basically adjacent, they had consistent warfare.
  85. 6:07So when we get to chapter six,
  86. 6:09hostility has once again emerged between Syria and Israel.
  87. 6:14And at the time, Elisha is the prophet of God in Israel
  88. 6:18whose hometown was Dothan and Jehoram is the king of Syria
  89. 6:24of Syria are also referred to as Aram and some maps, some historical references, historical
  90. 6:31languages and some translations mentions Aram and the Aramians. That's the synonym for
  91. 6:37the Syrians. So in 2 Kings chapter 6, as Jehorum, the King of Syria sought to make war on Israel,
  92. 6:50He kept coming up with battle plans and battle strategies and Israel would always be one step
  93. 6:57ahead of them.
  94. 6:58They planned the attack at this location.
  95. 7:00Israel would not be there anymore and they'd come behind them and ambush.
  96. 7:04It happened so often.
  97. 7:07The scripture said it happened time and time again in some translations.
  98. 7:10It happened so often that your arms start saying, wait, there must be a spy and a traitor
  99. 7:15in my camp.
  100. 7:16the king, the Syrian king's advisor said,
  101. 7:18no sir, no spy or traitor.
  102. 7:21It's just that there's a prophet in Israel.
  103. 7:24There's a prophet in Israel who their God
  104. 7:27shows him your plans while you're laying in your bed chamber.
  105. 7:31And then, and this is another example of what I mean
  106. 7:33when I say sin makes you stupid.
  107. 7:36So after King Jerome gets his counsel,
  108. 7:37we realize, oh, there's a prophet in Israel
  109. 7:40who your plans are being revealed to him
  110. 7:42by the creator of heaven and earth, God himself.
  111. 7:46And then his bright ideas, well let's go find that guy and kill him.
  112. 7:50Because then makes you stupid, it kid you not.
  113. 7:55So let's pick up in the text, 2 Kings chapter 6 verse 8, we're going to read all the way
  114. 7:59to verse 17.
  115. 8:00And this is what the scripture says, now the king of Erem, remember that's Syria, was
  116. 8:05warring against Israel and he consulted with his servant saying, in such a such a place
  117. 8:09shall be my camp.
  118. 8:12The man of God sent word to the king of Israel saying, be aware that you do not pass this
  119. 8:18place for the Arab men's are coming down there. The king of Israel sent to the place about which
  120. 8:25the man of God had told him. Thus he warned him so that he guarded himself there more than once or
  121. 8:31twice. Some translations against a time and time and again. Verse 11, now the heart of the king of
  122. 8:36arum was enraged over this thing and he called his servants and said to them, will you tell me
  123. 8:41which of us is for the king of Israel?" One of his servants said,
  124. 8:46no, my Lord, oh king, but Elisha, the prophet who was in Israel, tells the king of Israel,
  125. 8:53the words that you speak in your bedroom, verse 13. So he said, the king, king Jorim of
  126. 9:02Syria of Aram, so he said, go and see where he is that I may send and take him. Why would
  127. 9:10he do that? Because sin makes you stupid. And it was told him saying, behold, he
  128. 9:16is in dothin the king of arum sent horses and chariots and a great army there and they
  129. 9:24came by night and surrounded the city now remind you they're doing all this for one man if you
  130. 9:31scared say you scared you got a great army and charity horses you come into the tane one
  131. 9:37man one time one man he came by night and surrounded the city verse 15 now when the
  132. 9:46The attendant of the man of God, the Cilasha servant, had arisen early and gone out, behold
  133. 9:54an army with horses and chariots with circling the city.
  134. 9:58And his servant said to him, Alas, my master, what shall we do?
  135. 10:07So he Elisha answered, do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are
  136. 10:16with them.
  137. 10:17about this. Elisha saying this, it's his two of them. It's him and the servant. Gai'zah. It's
  138. 10:24their those two. You got a whole foreign army with horses and chariots surrounding Dothan
  139. 10:33and the servant. Elisha's servant is scared. What are we going to do? Elisha says, calm down,
  140. 10:42calm down. Because they think they, they think they have a huge contingent. They're more with
  141. 10:50with us than it with them.
  142. 10:55They're more with us than it with them.
  143. 10:56I can imagine the servant looking at you like,
  144. 11:01is you?
  145. 11:03And then it's me.
  146. 11:05They ain't even have a Jeff in the screening room.
  147. 11:07But you talking about they're more with us than with them.
  148. 11:10How else way?
  149. 11:13Did you go to Common Core,
  150. 11:15math school in Israel?
  151. 11:16I mean, when,
  152. 11:17because you counting,
  153. 11:19but that math ain't mappin'.
  154. 11:23And then,
  155. 11:24look at verse 17,
  156. 11:26Then Elisha prayed and said, O Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.
  157. 11:41Open his eyes that he may see.
  158. 11:45And the Lord opened the servant's eyes and he saw and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire.
  159. 11:58All around Elijah sorry Elijah
  160. 12:04Horses and chariots of fire all around
  161. 12:08Elisha I'm presenting this to you today
  162. 12:17Simply as a way by way of reminder
  163. 12:20because lots of the evil that is percolating in our society is contrived to
  164. 12:29provoke you and I to
  165. 12:32develop a
  166. 12:33blind, gahai-zai-like disposition in which we are overwhelmed by the appearance of us being
  167. 12:42surrounded. But I want to remind you with the same words that Elisha reminded us of,
  168. 12:52and with them, we must never forget that the God that we serve is omnipotent. All power
  169. 13:11is his. All power. He rules and reigns. His sovereignty is not a justification for us to be lazy or to be negligent
  170. 13:25and even worse, to be disobedient. Not at all. But we have to remember that we are not contending for victory. We are
  171. 13:35contending from victory.
  172. 13:37There are more with us than are with them.
  173. 13:43And if you are in a place where you've become despondent to where you're living kind
  174. 13:47of the proverbial hand-ringing disposition or becoming fearful, my prayer right now
  175. 13:55is Lord, open my brother's eyes.
  176. 13:58Lord, open my sister's eyes.
  177. 14:00Lord, open our eyes to behold that there are more with us than there are with them.
  178. 14:06and the more is not merely a quantitative assessment,
  179. 14:10but it is a qualitative assessment.
  180. 14:17There is no fear in love.
  181. 14:20Telliois love, love perfected, casts out all fear.
  182. 14:26And we have the distinct honor and privilege
  183. 14:29of contending from victory.
  184. 14:32When I say let us be about our father's business,
  185. 14:35make no mistake about it, the business is not our business.
  186. 14:39And the quality with which the business is executed
  187. 14:42is not our quality.
  188. 14:44It is His, Lord, open our eyes,
  189. 14:47and as the Lord opens our eyes,
  190. 14:51let us engage as the victorious saints
  191. 14:54of the most high that we are.

  201. 15:34Shiting lightning to the darkness, this is the Hamilton Corner, an American family radio.
  202. 15:41Welcome back to the Hamilton Corner, Abraham Hamilton, the third here.
  203. 15:46You probably heard that we're about maybe what, about four weeks, a little less than
  204. 15:49that away from midterm elections. And I just want to mention to you, in full view of the
  205. 16:01understanding that God is sovereign of where he places us and when he places us. If we were
  206. 16:08citizens of communist, not citizen subjects of communist China, some other nation where
  207. 16:14we didn't have the voting franchise, we wouldn't have an expectation to utilize that franchise
  208. 16:20franchise for God's glory.
  209. 16:23But God is the one who has sovereignly placed us in a constitutional republic with democratic
  210. 16:27features.
  211. 16:28We have an Article 4 guarantee to every American citizen of a constitutional republic in the
  212. 16:32form of government that has nothing to do with partisanship, that has everything to do with
  213. 16:36the form of government.
  214. 16:38To what God expects no less of us than he required and expected of the Apostle Paul.
  215. 16:44Apostle Paul was a Jewish Pharisee, no doubt, but he also was a Roman citizen.
  216. 16:53And Paul, as a Roman citizen, utilized the full scope of his rights and appellate rights,
  217. 17:00in particular, as a Roman citizen to advance the gospel as far as God intended for him
  218. 17:08to advance it.
  219. 17:10If you recall, back to Acts, chapter 23, 22 and 23, when the apostle Paul finally is in
  220. 17:17Jerusalem, he's being bludgeoned.
  221. 17:20We've talked about this on the show before to the point where they almost killed him.
  222. 17:25The Roman leader intervenes, detains Paul.
  223. 17:28Now while he's bloody and wounded, the Lord himself, the Lord himself tells Paul, you
  224. 17:35have represented me well in Jerusalem.
  225. 17:38You must also be my witness in Rome.
  226. 17:41God tells him that.
  227. 17:43God tells him that.
  228. 17:45Then while that's happening, it's almost like a movie.
  229. 17:48The next scene we see Paul's nephew.
  230. 17:50Remember I explained this to you guys how many times you heard somebody tell you about
  231. 17:53Paul's nephew from the scripture.
  232. 17:55Paul's nephew hears a plot that the Sanhedrin members take a vow to not eat or drink anything
  233. 18:03until they have killed Paul.
  234. 18:06The nephew hears the plot, goes to the barracks where Paul is being held, tells Paul about
  235. 18:12it.
  236. 18:13Paul gets the nephew to tell the guard about it.
  237. 18:17The guard takes Paul's nephew to the Roman tribute, Claudius lisius.
  238. 18:22And before they could execute the murder plot, Claudius lisius has Paul taken away to
  239. 18:29Caesarea Philippi, right?
  240. 18:32But why does this happen?
  241. 18:35Why does this happen?
  242. 18:38This happens because God is giving us a view first of his sovereign will and declared it
  243. 18:43to Paul, then shows us the practical aspects of how it works out.
  244. 18:51Paul's nephew and I keep referring to him as Paul's nephew because if you turn there,
  245. 18:56I'm going to turn there, Acts 23, I didn't have it, just telling you, I was explaining
  246. 19:01that from memory.
  247. 19:04If you look in Acts 23, the NESB says, but the son of Paul's sister heard of their ambush.
  248. 19:11The son of Paul's sister.
  249. 19:12What do you call a son of Paul's sister?
  250. 19:15Nephew.
  251. 19:15Nephew.
  252. 19:16Right?
  253. 19:17Well, we're seeing the interplay of God's sovereign will, his revelation of it to Paul
  254. 19:24and practically how it's working out.
  255. 19:27And we also know that Paul, even in making his case behind the scenes, the ones who are
  256. 19:36judging him saying, man, if this wouldn't have appealed to Rome, we could have let him
  257. 19:42go.
  258. 19:43Does he appeal to Rome?
  259. 19:44To Rome he must go.
  260. 19:46That's when he got to Caesarea Philippi and then he appeals to Rome.
  261. 19:50Well it is because of the interplay between God's sovereign will and his revelation of
  262. 19:54it to Paul, the practical, natural things that are transpiring and Paul's awareness of
  263. 19:59his appellate rights that we get the closing remarks from Paul's epistle to the Philippians,
  264. 20:06to the Philippians.
  265. 20:11And what was that remark?
  266. 20:13Paul says, the saints of the Lord Jesus Christ greet you,
  267. 20:16including those in Caesar's household.
  268. 20:22It was Paul's citizenship as a Roman.
  269. 20:24His awareness of his appellate rights.
  270. 20:26That was a vehicle through which he executed God's will
  271. 20:31for his life, which led to the gospel penetrating
  272. 20:35the upper echelons of the Roman Empire.
  273. 20:40Similarly, similarly brothers and sisters,
  274. 20:45we have the opportunity to make our voice be heard.
  275. 20:50And I know some people have various opinions and convictions and thoughts and
  276. 20:54no feelings about voting, but one thing that is for sure is that when you refuse
  277. 20:58to exercise your franchise, should you do so, you nullify your civic opportunity
  278. 21:04to shape our nation.
  279. 21:07You make yourself irrelevant in that regard.
  280. 21:10And there's a phrase from Sir Edmund Burke that I've learned to learn a long
  281. 21:14time ago, in which he said, it's all that is necessary for evil to triumph is
  282. 21:19for good men to do nothing.
  283. 21:20That's all that's all that's necessary all that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing
  284. 21:26You've heard me say repeatedly darkness is not an affirmative force
  285. 21:30But it reoccupies the space that is vacated by the like by the light if God's people continually back away
  286. 21:37We're gonna run out of spaces to back away from you know government is ugly business no doubt and guess how ugly it'll get if you have
  287. 21:49the
  288. 21:50Desperately wicked human heart unbridled as John Adam said by morality and Christian religion the wicked human heart
  289. 21:59Unbridled by the indwelling spirit of God. What do you think is gonna happen?
  290. 22:02And we're now at the place to where you know
  291. 22:08The mask is off
  292. 22:10The mask is off and I mean you got you know
  293. 22:14Tala freco in Texas talking about you know the one thing I love the most is you know to have freedom for trans kids what?
  294. 22:21What? Now he was all about it when he was a state senator. He was all about it when he's a democratic primary
  295. 22:27But he gets to the general election now he goes well
  296. 22:31Let me moderate that stance a little bit really really really
  297. 22:36When you got his his past with his church in Austin, Texas who he says
  298. 22:41It's the greatest influence on his life, you know, you know like Jeremiah Wright was a Barack Obama, you know what I'm saying and
  299. 22:47Oh boy, you know takes the occasion at the resurrection Sunday service say oh by the way
  300. 22:53Jesus didn't really resurrect.
  301. 22:54Now he didn't really raise from the dead.
  302. 22:55Nah, that's a symbol.
  303. 22:58I'm not joking Marty, I'm not joking.
  304. 23:00Y'all gonna look all of this up?
  305. 23:02Go look all of this up.
  306. 23:03It's just a symbol.
  307. 23:05You know, it's irrelevant whether or not Jesus actually raised.
  308. 23:09That's, I guess he never raised 1 Corinthians 15, I guess.
  309. 23:16I mean, you can go down, you can go down a list.
  310. 23:21To Talafrico or not Talafrico, that is the question
  311. 23:24for all my Texans.
  312. 23:26And we have a pretty large audience in the state of Texas.
  313. 23:30What are you gonna do?
  314. 23:32I understand, you know, there are things about Ken Paxson,
  315. 23:35I don't like.
  316. 23:40Tala Rico was worse.
  317. 23:43He is willing to lie about God.
  318. 23:46Do you understand what I'm saying?
  319. 23:47He's willing to be a walking personification of heresy
  320. 23:53and go back to what I said in the first segment.
  321. 23:54Why is it so urgent to me?
  322. 23:56Because he's willing to live in such a way
  323. 23:58to where he can seal the way for the gospel to be proclaimed.
  324. 24:01That's Tala Frico.
  325. 24:03Ken Paxton is no saint, but he's not doing that.
  326. 24:07And that's the choice all down the line,
  327. 24:09all around the country.
  328. 24:11In midterms all around the country, grotesque heresy.
  329. 24:19Guys, this is wild.
  330. 24:23This man said God is non-binary.
  331. 24:26Man, get out of here with that foolishness.
  332. 24:28While professing to be a pastor himself.
  333. 24:31He amin' as himself.
  334. 24:33Guys, these are the type of people,
  335. 24:35and I said this the first time I covered this dude on the show.
  336. 24:37These are the types of people the Lord said,
  337. 24:39watch them wolves, wolves.
  338. 24:43But you have some people saying,
  339. 24:44well, I guess we'll vote for the wolf.
  340. 24:48On others to say, well, I don't like this choice,
  341. 24:51I just vote.
  342. 24:53All right.
  343. 24:57All that's necessary for evil to try them.
  344. 24:59It's for good men to do nothing.
  345. 25:02You know, the real issue, and we should get to that,
  346. 25:06is how many people don't participate in primary elections.
  347. 25:11We are living in the land, guys,
  348. 25:14that 25 years after 9-11,
  349. 25:22you have an Islam and this is Mayor of New York City.
  350. 25:25Make that make sense.
  351. 25:27Make that make sense.
  352. 25:28I read from my children the other night,
  353. 25:30the transcript of Todd Beemer's call
  354. 25:32from United Airlines Flight 93.
  355. 25:34Have you heard, have you read that?
  356. 25:36When Todd Beemer, he's a graduate of Wheaton College
  357. 25:39and he learns he's talking to Lisa
  358. 25:41who is the 911 operator who's able to get
  359. 25:45on the air phone in the plane
  360. 25:49And the man is explaining that he's a husband,
  361. 25:53he has a wife and young family,
  362. 25:56he had a, I believe a three year old son,
  363. 25:59another one year old son and his wife was pregnant
  364. 26:03with another baby, he didn't know if it was a boy or a girl yet.
  365. 26:06And another person on the plane said,
  366. 26:07we heard that well, sometimes if kind of a tack
  367. 26:09is, is it a, is it a, is our nation under attack?
  368. 26:12And Lisa swallows, this is the 911 operator and says,
  369. 26:16we are under attack.
  370. 26:18The two trade towers are down, a plane crashed into the Pentagon and we believe that the plane
  371. 26:24that you're on is a part of the same thing and it might be headed for the White House.
  372. 26:29He goes, let me call you back.
  373. 26:33Lisa gets FBI agent, good one on the phone.
  374. 26:35They get, he keeps the line open.
  375. 26:37He gets back on the phone.
  376. 26:38Todd Beamer gets on the phone and says, listen, we got a plane.
  377. 26:42We've decided we are not going to let this go down.
  378. 26:45And for this plane to be another part of their attack on our country.
  379. 26:50asking Lisa, you know, to call his wife and let her know what's going on. He didn't say,
  380. 27:01Lisa, will you pray with me? And they say that our Father's prayer, the entire beamer,
  381. 27:12praise additionally, the Christ our Lord help us, Christ help us. And then he says, let's
  382. 27:20roll. And 25 years later, you're going to tell me we're going to have, I'm down in New
  383. 27:35New York City, 25 years later?
  384. 27:38Abdul Sayyed in Michigan, 25 years later?
  385. 27:41We're gonna have, right now,
  386. 27:44I told you guys about the Fic Council of North America,
  387. 27:46the Fic Sharia Council of North America,
  388. 27:48who issued their Zakat allowing Muslims to use their money
  389. 27:54that they're giving at the mosques,
  390. 27:55specifically for campaign purposes.
  391. 27:58They're registering to people to vote at the mosques,
  392. 28:00their goal is to elect 30 members of Congress,
  393. 28:04that the primary reason for doing so
  394. 28:06is to advance Islam in America, in our country.
  395. 28:13You've heard the shows we've done with Bill Federer,
  396. 28:15I'm not asking you to just take my advice for it.
  397. 28:17Do your own studies on the history of Islam?
  398. 28:19Has there ever been a place where Islam has advanced
  399. 28:22and it's been a peaceful advance?
  400. 28:28It's been a proselytizing that's led
  401. 28:32to the establishment of an Islamic nation.
  402. 28:34Is that how it happened?
  403. 28:36What's happened in places where as, you know, peaceful minorities and as Islam has grown,
  404. 28:43what happened as Islam grew in this influence?
  405. 28:47You know, it's funny that Mom Donnie talked about how, you know, how Muhammad and his band
  406. 28:54showed up and Medina has a peaceful minority, but he left out the part and a few years later
  407. 29:00there wasn't even, there were no Jews left without a kill them all or ran them all away.
  408. 29:07Guys, we've got to wake up.
  409. 29:12Some of you like I was when school I learned Istanbul was Constantinople.
  410. 29:16I didn't teach me how it happened.
  411. 29:17What changed?
  412. 29:18Why did Constantinople become Istanbul?
  413. 29:20How did that happen?
  414. 29:22How did it happen in places where the church is that Jesus addresses in the book of Revelation?
  415. 29:26All of the churches, you know where they are?
  416. 29:28In a country that is now 98% majority Muslim.
  417. 29:32Well you can't find a Christian witness in the place where Christianity was birthed.
  418. 29:42How does that happen?
  419. 29:43It was Burton in Israel, clearly, with Jesus as born.
  420. 29:46But I'm talking about the churches that Jesus addresses
  421. 29:48in the book of Revelation.
  422. 29:49They're all in Turkey.
  423. 29:54I've talked to you guys before about the Hagia Sophia.
  424. 29:57It's now a mosque.
  425. 30:03We've seen the examples over and over and over again.
  426. 30:06Guys, we have an opportunity.
  427. 30:07What are we gonna do with it?
  428. 30:09What are we gonna do with it?
  429. 30:12God doesn't expect any less of us than He expects
  430. 30:15of saints all throughout human history
  431. 30:16that we use everything at our disposal
  432. 30:19to put the light on the lampstand.
  433. 30:21One of the primary reasons why freedom is important is because the gospel flourishes in an environment of freedom.
  434. 30:26Notice I didn't say that, well, if there's no freedom all is lost, I didn't say that because Christ is king in every environment, every circumstances.
  435. 30:35That's why we see the gospel advancing even in hostile territories, like China, the body of Christ is growing there.
  436. 30:42And in Iran, the body of Christ is growing there.
  437. 30:47But there's a reason why our nation historically has sent the most missionaries into the world
  438. 30:53because our nation has been the freest nation in the history of mankind.
  439. 30:57And we exercise our franchise with wisdom.
  440. 31:00I'm not saying be reckless and just going in and be willy-nilly.
  441. 31:03That's why you have tools like iVoterGuide that allows you to get detailed information, data sets, research that will inform you as you engage.
  442. 31:10And that is not the end of the story.
  443. 31:15That is a small part of the larger story.
  444. 31:18that as the Lord by His grace grants us reprieve,
  445. 31:22we take full advantage of the reprieve
  446. 31:24to execute His commission.
  447. 31:27That we love our neighbors as ourselves.
  448. 31:29That we share the gospel, we make disciples,
  449. 31:31we knock on our neighbors doors.
  450. 31:33That we love our Lord so much so.
  451. 31:35That we love our neighbors.
  452. 31:37That love of Christ wells up in us and through us.
  453. 31:42And it compels us to a day.
  454. 31:43It is that love of Christ frankly,
  455. 31:45that compels me to do what I do.
  456. 31:49so that we can be saltin' like instead of being lightly salted.
  457. 31:53I didn't plan on goin' on all that time with that,
  458. 31:57but it's important, it's important.
  459. 32:00We come back from the break.
  460. 32:02You're gonna hear from the man himself?
  461. 32:05Popularly known as the Holdout Jurer in Massachusetts,
  462. 32:09Michael DeZranville, because of all of the threats
  463. 32:12and things he's faced, he finally comes out,
  464. 32:14issues his own statement,
  465. 32:17I'd hope the man could live his life in anonymity,
  466. 32:19But who are we kidding?
  467. 32:23We'll be back after this break.
  468. 32:30You know the headlines can be discouraging.
  469. 32:32Every day we see increased hostility toward Israel
  470. 32:35and a growing hatred toward the Jewish people.
  471. 32:38Now is the time to stick with Israel.
  472. 32:40Literally, the Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry
  473. 32:43is giving away free sticker packs
  474. 32:45that allow you to visibly support Israel and the Jewish people.
  475. 32:48Let others know where you stand.

  478. 32:55Again, that's stickwithIsrael.org.
  479. 32:58A Hamilton Quarter podcast and one-minute commentaries
  480. 33:08are available at aFR.net.
  481. 33:10Back to the Hamilton Quarter on American Family Radio.
  482. 33:16Welcome back to the Hamilton Corner, Abraham Hamilton,
  483. 33:18the third here.
  484. 33:21It was interesting to see how people squirmed after they
  485. 33:28found out who was the holdout juror.
  486. 33:31I still can't get those words out of my head when one of the jurors said that he just could
  487. 33:42not get over the fact that this woman had viciously murdered her three children.
  488. 33:49Yeah, that's not something you get over when you are tasked with pursuing justice.
  489. 33:58Well because of the heat being placed on him and by the way, the murdering woman and her
  490. 34:05attorney, Redington and the prosecutors and Massachusetts were back in court today.
  491. 34:10They were back in court today discussing motions that have been filed in the case and discussing
  492. 34:18the scheduling potentially of a new trial of a new trial.
  493. 34:22The prosecutor said that we need to hammer out the motions that are pending before we set
  494. 34:26the trial date so that we don't have to push the trial date back any further.
  495. 34:32But let's do this.
  496. 34:33And one of the motions that are pending, which is this is unconstitutional.
  497. 34:42The attorney for the murdering woman found a motion to have the hold out juror who we
  498. 34:49now know to be Michael Desronville investigated.
  499. 34:52investigative for what I don't know but there's got to be something criminal you
  500. 34:58know a fishing expedition and in any other circumstance that would clearly be viewed
  501. 35:03as jury harassment which by the way that's wrong village on attorney who is going
  502. 35:07to follow bar complaint against this attorney reticant in this matter but I
  503. 35:12wanted you to hear Michael is Ronville himself because he said you know a lot
  504. 35:20attention has been placed on me in this, but the truth is, the
  505. 35:26attention never should have been on me at all. What we should
  506. 35:29have been focusing on. For those three little babies, listen to
  507. 35:34and watch clip number two, clip two, go.
  508. 35:37Hi, my name is Michael Peggy Des Ronville, also known as the
  509. 35:41lone juror. I know the whole focus has been on me, but we
  510. 35:47want to reel everything back and put the focus on the three
  511. 35:50angels that is this at hand. The ones that can't speak for themselves. The ones that can't defend
  512. 35:56themselves and the one that can't fight the battles. And those are Quora Dawson and Callan.
  513. 36:04A little bit about me. I want to thank God for my Catholic faith. I want to thank God for
  514. 36:12blessing me with the ability to love my daughter. And I'm foremost, I would like to thank everyone,
  515. 36:20every individual that have supported me throughout this difficult situation.
  516. 36:25Your prayers, your emotional support, your psychological support is a tremendous to my
  517. 36:35heart that I feel, that I sense, that I know.
  518. 36:41I do want to thank you from the bottom of my heart.
  519. 36:44Thank you.
  520. 36:46You know, that should have been the focus throughout the entire trial.
  521. 36:51The three children.
  522. 36:52The three children.
  523. 36:53children. I'd hoped that this man would have been able to live out his life and
  524. 36:58anonymity without being forced into the public light, but in his attorney did a
  525. 37:04television interview on his behalf and talked about the death threats he's
  526. 37:07received and people trying to find his address and how he's had to undergo all
  527. 37:12kind of security measures and all kinds of things because of this case. And in light
  528. 37:20of all of that, I should say in the face of all of that, he says, man, this really
  529. 37:23You don't need to be focusing on me.
  530. 37:26We need to be focusing on the three children.
  531. 37:29And I think this is just another example, another statement.
  532. 37:33That's another phenomenon that's indicative of where we are in our society.
  533. 37:38So why I'm saying that we have to put the light on a lampstand.
  534. 37:41We can't continue going along just to get along.
  535. 37:44We got to be about our father's business man.
  536. 37:48We have to.
  537. 37:49We have to.
  538. 37:51Now out of the, and I want to show this to you because many of you have heard me refer to this,
  539. 37:57but I want you to see that even in spite of, you know,
  540. 38:03revelations that show things like net zero pursuits and the climate alarmist agenda are
  541. 38:10built on sand. It's not anything upon a foreign foundation. That's an excellent point.
  542. 38:17What person will want to serve on a jury if doing so could result in your life being put in danger?
  543. 38:24Well, who would want to do that?
  544. 38:32And this is why these are the kind of things amongst the legal community that these things used to be considered to be, you know,
  545. 38:41sacrosanct, like you know, you know, harass jurors. Once the jurors render their verdict, their verdict has been issued and as
  546. 38:49agents of the law as members of the bar, we respect the jury's decision even when we vehemently disagree with it.
  547. 38:57but Redington is gone far beyond the pale calling for a juror to be investigated simply because he didn't like in the verdict is not even an
  548. 39:06a a conviction it was a
  549. 39:08a hung jury that's led to a mistrial
  550. 39:13and I think Redington depending on the venue and all that that that he's been challenged in that his his
  551. 39:20The bar complaint may very well be very successful in this regard, but again, we're in Massachusetts. So I'm not sure the makeup of
  552. 39:32those who are administrators of the bar in that state, but I wanted to show this information because
  553. 39:40there's been data I showed in this show on how some of the foundations for climate alarmism are simply simply unfounded. Climate alarmism is not founded, you know,
  554. 39:49and we have
  555. 39:51scientific data to back up what the scripture says that earth is the Lord and the fullness thereof the world and we who dwell there in
  556. 39:59yet, there are people that continue to push for
  557. 40:04Things like this new study
  558. 40:06It's a new study that was published in this
  559. 40:12publication titled
  560. 40:15Sustainable Development
  561. 40:17Jeff, would you put the study on the screen for the people please?
  562. 40:20in this study
  563. 40:22You know, you had a host of scientists start on Mark Teigen as the first named scientist
  564. 40:28on this study, to where he's arguing that, well, in the title of the study is, quote,
  565. 40:36achieve sustainability by easing population to 4 billion by 2,200, end quote.
  566. 40:45Now in the study, you'll find that the projections really only go up to 2,100, the year 2,100.
  567. 40:50So they really are extrapolating there,
  568. 40:54but you see over and over again,
  569. 40:56these people that reassert this notion
  570. 40:59that we really have too many people on the planet,
  571. 41:01we really need to get rid of a lot of the people,
  572. 41:03we really need to get rid of a lot of the people,
  573. 41:04we really need to get rid of the population in half,
  574. 41:07we got to cut the population in half,
  575. 41:08and you notice that the title of the study,
  576. 41:10and it's on the screen for those who are watching,
  577. 41:12achieve sustainability by easing population
  578. 41:15to $4 billion by $2,200.
  579. 41:17Now right now the 8.3 billion people on the planet.
  580. 41:22So what exactly do you think they mean by easing the population?
  581. 41:27Maybe they watch the Wiz and they go,
  582. 41:28he's on down the road.
  583. 41:31Maybe that's what it is.
  584. 41:32And they go, he's on down.
  585. 41:34They go, ease the population.
  586. 41:36You'll do it easy, baby.
  587. 41:38Easy.
  588. 41:39We're gonna ease the population on the nighttime radio DJ.
  589. 41:44You're listening to mellow moves with smooth jazz with 99.3 easy moving
  590. 41:52How to ease the population then you start reading the study you know
  591. 41:59I'm you know I just minding my business being halfway literate you know
  592. 42:03I mean I gotta read a little bit and then you start reading and you see some stuff
  593. 42:07Say oh the most the most effective way to end population increase
  594. 42:13is to empower women and girls by removing barriers to family planning and education.
  595. 42:19Hmm. What's that? So I guess what they consider premeditated intentional in utero baby murder,
  596. 42:30easing the population. They note, because the reality is guys in most of the, in many of the
  597. 42:39countries in the world, the issues that we're having is, is demographic winter. People are not
  598. 42:43replacing their populations at sufficient rates. There's not enough people being born in some places,
  599. 42:49But they note that in the study. They go, quote, the authors point out that rapid, rapid fertility
  600. 42:58decline has already been achieved in areas. Oh, oh, so, so they've achieved rapid fertility
  601. 43:04decline in some, decline in some areas. How do they do that? They've, they've achieved
  602. 43:09rapid fertility decline in some areas where women can complete their education, use contraception
  603. 43:17and then are free to decide how many children to have.
  604. 43:23In other words, folks, they wanna ease the population
  605. 43:25down to four billion by murder.
  606. 43:27Let's just call it what it is.
  607. 43:29And you continue to have this,
  608. 43:30and this is another one of the examples
  609. 43:32of it's gonna be God's word or man's word.
  610. 43:35Can be both, professing to be wise to become fools.
  611. 43:38But I want you to know that these things happen
  612. 43:41and they convey the most barbarous ideas,
  613. 43:46but they do it in science-speak.
  614. 43:50in professional journals.
  615. 43:52This is not barbarism sir, this is science.
  616. 43:57This is a professional journal you see.
  617. 44:00See we surveyed the resources that are available
  618. 44:02and we realized, E-GAD,
  619. 44:05there are far too many of you eating far too much food.
  620. 44:10You owe nothing and you will like it.
  621. 44:12Put that steak down, have yourself some ground grass upper.
  622. 44:17Guys, it's the same old same old lie
  623. 44:24repackaged over and over again
  624. 44:26Oh, and by the way, I left out that study that I just showed you on the screen for those who are watching and I know
  625. 44:30We'll listen on the radio listening listening on the podcast
  626. 44:33You didn't see this screen, but I we put screenshots of the actual study from the sustainable development publication
  627. 44:39I want you to be be aware that yeah, your tax dollars help
  628. 44:43pay for that
  629. 44:45Three race I'm sure I'm sure all of you were so eager to come up with the latest study that says we need to ease the population
  630. 44:54Ease on down the road from eight billion to four billion, you know
  631. 44:58We want to ease it then we got this other story, man. This is just this is heartbreaking right here in our own country in Portland, Maine
  632. 45:08This story goes back all the way to 2013 I got to move quickly to get this all in 2013
  633. 45:12where a woman by the name of Emily Bickford gave birth to our daughter with the
  634. 45:20boyfriend that she had then you know I'm not trying to shade anybody but guys
  635. 45:24doing things God's way is the best way you know doing things God's way is the
  636. 45:30best way but Emily Bickford had her daughter in 2013 four years later in 2017
  637. 45:35Emily Bickford gets saved she becomes a Christian her daughter was four years old
  638. 45:39at the time. Her and the father, whose name is Brayton, separated. But Emily basically is raising
  639. 45:46the daughter alone. Later in 2021, as a Christian, Emily Bickford begins attending Calvary Chapel
  640. 45:51in Portland, Maine with her young daughter Ava. And when Ava turns eight years old, Ava gets saved
  641. 45:57and wants to become a Christian. I'm sorry, I want to be baptized. Well, at that point, Brayton is
  642. 46:02upset. He doesn't want his daughter to be baptized. So unbeknownst to Emily Bickford,
  643. 46:08Braden starts basically stalking the Calvary Chapel in Portland, Maine online and
  644. 46:13starts building a case to basically rest custody away from Emily Bickford of their
  645. 46:18eight-year-old daughter. They ended up, Braden ends up hiring this lady from
  646. 46:24California who's a so-called cult whisperer. Basically trying to say that
  647. 46:29Emily has the little girl in a cult. I'll let Pastor Kerry give you the rest of the
  648. 46:39Listen to it, it's clip number one.
  649. 46:41Hopefully we can get it in clip one.
  650. 46:43Go.
  651. 46:44We had a family.
  652. 46:45A mother at the time, an eight-year-old daughter was attending all of our services Sunday morning,
  653. 46:49Sunday evening, Wednesdays, youth ministry, and they had a 50-50 amicable custody between
  654. 46:56the mom and dad.
  655. 46:57The dad unbeknownst to us was peering into our YouTube channel, watching everything with
  656. 47:02the critical eye.
  657. 47:03And he couldn't believe that we were teaching about Heaven and Hell about the second coming
  658. 47:08of Christ, can you imagine teaching that at a church? Angels and demons. And so unbeknownst
  659. 47:14to us, he began to then take litigation processes to bring her to court to try and convince the
  660. 47:21judge that we were causing psychological harm. They went so far as to hire a coal identifying
  661. 47:27specialist out of California. And even though it's public record, even though they spent
  662. 47:31nearly $15,000 to hire her, her opening thesis of what is a 20-page hit piece was, I do
  663. 47:37not opine that Calri Chappell is a cult, but, and then for 19 and a half pages, she basically
  664. 47:43makes the case that we are a cult for teaching biblical truths.
  665. 47:46Well, what is more egregious is that judge in Cumberland County Family Court, and it is
  666. 47:51worthwhile saying she is a lesbian, and that judge is married to an ACLU lawyer.
  667. 47:56She cited that the mother would no longer have the parental duties to make religious or
  668. 48:02medical decisions stripped her from that and gave 100% autonomy to the father.
  669. 48:07make matters worse as we were represented by Matt Staver at Liberty Council, then making
  670. 48:13the appeal to the state Supreme Court just three weeks ago, all seven justices on the
  671. 48:18state Supreme Court in Maine unanimously upheld that decision.
  672. 48:22So we are now appealing to the Supreme Court of the United States.
  673. 48:25I really do believe this when I say this.
  674. 48:28I believe this is the most dangerous precedent that has been set in our nation in a long time.
  675. 48:33And so we're right in the midst of this battle.
