  1. 0:00Darkness is not an affirmative force.
  2. 0:03It simply reoccupies the space vacated by the light.
  3. 0:07This is the Hamilton Corner on American Family Radio.
  4. 0:11It should be uncomfortable for a believer to live as a hypocrite.
  5. 0:15Delivering people out of the bondage of mainstream media.
  6. 0:18And the philosophies of this world.
  7. 0:20God has called you and me to be His ambassador.
  8. 0:24Even in this dark moment.
  9. 0:26Let's not miss our moment.
  10. 0:29And now, the Hamilton Corner.
  11. 0:31I certainly don't want to miss this moment.
  12. 0:34This is Bishop E.W. Jackson in for A-Wam, Hamilton the 3rd.
  13. 0:37It is my pleasure and honor, as always, to sit in this chair
  14. 0:42and try to do as good a job as I know that young man does.
  15. 0:45And thank all of you for all of your prayers and support
  16. 0:49for making American Family Radio possible, frankly,
  17. 0:52because we could not do this without you.
  18. 0:54So God bless each and every one of you.
  19. 0:56Well, I've got a very interesting program planned for you.
  20. 0:59In fact, I expect to be with you tomorrow night as well.
  21. 1:02So please tune in again.
  22. 1:04I will have a guest with me tomorrow night.
  23. 1:06Bunny Pound, who is the woman who pioneered America
  24. 1:09reads the Bible.
  25. 1:10I'm sure you all heard about that.
  26. 1:12At almost week long reading of the Bible by many people
  27. 1:16from across the country, including the president
  28. 1:18of the United States.
  29. 1:20So it's gonna be interesting to hear Bunny tell the story
  30. 1:23about how all that happened.
  31. 1:25So tune in tomorrow.
  32. 1:26She will be with me for a good part of the program.
  33. 1:29tomorrow. Now look, today I'm going to talk to you about something that I have been thinking
  34. 1:34about for the last several days, particularly given Memorial Day weekend, which has just
  35. 1:39passed. You know, Memorial Day weekend for, I would dare say, the overwhelming majority
  36. 1:46of Americans, maybe 75%, 80% of Americans, is a time for remembering all of those people
  37. 1:54who sacrifice their all in behalf of our liberty.
  38. 1:59And we don't take that for granted
  39. 2:01because we know that liberty is not the gift of our government,
  40. 2:04it is the gift, the grant of Almighty God.
  41. 2:08And we take that very, very seriously.
  42. 2:10And we ought to, and I think most of us who think normally
  43. 2:17have grateful hearts for that.
  44. 2:19Most of us who know anything about the world around us
  45. 2:22rather than being resentful and bitter and angry and at our country as if, you know, America's
  46. 2:28the most terrible place on earth to live or to be, we are grateful that we are here, grateful
  47. 2:35that God saw fit for us to be born here, grateful that God saw fit for us to live in the greatest
  48. 2:44nation of opportunity that the world has ever known.
  49. 2:49And folks, that is not an overstatement.
  50. 2:51I mean, that is an accurate and factual statement.
  51. 2:56There's no better place that's ever existed on Earth for human beings to no better nation
  52. 3:03that's ever existed on Earth for human beings to fulfill their God-given gifts and potential
  53. 3:08and to follow those gifts, to follow that potential to the highest place they are capable of going.
  54. 3:13There's no better place on Earth for that.
  55. 3:18One would think that we would be grateful first and foremost to God who gave us this nation
  56. 3:25and to all of those who have shed their blood and given their lives that we might enjoy the
  57. 3:30liberty that God has given us, that we might protect it and defend it.
  58. 3:35You know, the ultimate steward of our liberty is each of us.
  59. 3:40You and I are ultimately responsible for our own personal liberty and we delegate some of
  60. 3:46responsibility to our government because we know that it is a responsibility that we alone
  61. 3:54cannot take on in every instance. So for example, when in Iran wants to destroy us with nuclear
  62. 4:01weapons, we know that you and I are in no position to defend ourselves alone against such a possibility
  63. 4:09and for them an inevitability from their perspective. And so we charge our government with the responsibility
  64. 4:15protecting us from these monsters who would seek to destroy us all. But that
  65. 4:22ultimate responsibility is ours and we delegate it where necessary. That means
  66. 4:27that individual liberty is a precious gift to each of us and each of us is a
  67. 4:32steward of that liberty. That's when the Second Amendment becomes so
  68. 4:37important because people who don't understand that they devalue, in fact they
  69. 4:42would like to invalidate the Second Amendment because they simply don't
  70. 4:45realize that the Second Amendment protects our right to defend our individual liberty
  71. 4:53from criminals, from predators, from a tyrannical government that would seek to enslave us,
  72. 5:03that would seek to completely control us.
  73. 5:08And the sad reality is that even in the United States of America, we cannot take for granted
  74. 5:13that such tyranny could never arise.
  75. 5:17We just can't.
  76. 5:19Think about this, show you heard excerpts of Zoron Mamdani saying that if buildings do not
  77. 5:27in New York do not meet his specifications, they will seize those buildings and they will
  78. 5:35convey those buildings over to others, non-profit corporations or other people who they believe
  79. 5:44will do a better job.
  80. 5:45In other words, the government will take the property from the owners and give it to whom
  81. 5:49they will.
  82. 5:52Can you spell communism?
  83. 5:56Because that's exactly what that boils down to.
  84. 6:01Here in Virginia, we are counting down the days now because on July 1st, all so-called
  85. 6:07assault weapons will be banned.
  86. 6:10All firearms, which have magazines, well let's put it this way, all magazines of 15 or more
  87. 6:18rounds will be banned. You will not be able to buy NAR 15, you will not be able to buy
  88. 6:24a semi-automatic shotgun and you will not be able to own a magazine that has 15 or more
  89. 6:30rounds, that holds 15 or more rounds. Now they've grandfathered in in order not to lock up the
  90. 6:34entire population because that's what that would ultimately require. And in order not
  91. 6:40to end up trying to put people in jail who are otherwise law-abiding citizens and the
  92. 6:44since the law has now changed, they want to turn you into a criminal. They've released
  93. 6:47the criminals, of course, to run the streets and hurt people, rape people, rob people,
  94. 6:51kill people. But the law-abiding citizen who has done nothing to anyone, it just happens
  95. 6:56to be a firearm owner because you have a magazine that they have decided is no longer approved,
  96. 7:02they want to give you a fine and put you in jail up to one year in prison. That's what
  97. 7:08the law has been changed to in Virginia, sadly. George Washington must be looking over the
  98. 7:13the balcony of heaven thinking what in the world has gone wrong with my beloved Virginia?
  99. 7:19Well we're going to do what we can to correct it. My point is, and I'm not in any way suggesting
  100. 7:25that we take up arms against the government of Virginia over this. What I'm suggesting
  101. 7:29is that this is precisely what the founding fathers had in mind, a government that would
  102. 7:34step by step encroach upon our rights and our liberties to the point where we ultimately
  103. 7:39had to fight the government in order to be free because that's exactly how this country
  104. 7:42She was birthed.
  105. 7:43Yeah, the country was birthed by the founding fathers and a bunch of other patriots saying,
  106. 7:50we will no longer accept the tyranny of King George over us, period.
  107. 7:56And if we're not willing to accept our peaceful withdrawal from his authority, we will fight
  108. 8:03to throw off the authority.
  109. 8:06Not God forbid that that ever becomes necessary in our country, but I believe that the founding
  110. 8:10fathers being very sensitive to that because they themselves had to face that eventuality
  111. 8:18wanted to make sure that every American had that right and the wherewithal with which to
  112. 8:25protect that right.
  113. 8:29And of course there are people who want to take that right away.
  114. 8:33And that leads me to something.
  115. 8:36I mentioned Mamdani and there's Abigail, I call her Spinnberger, her name is Spinnberger,
  116. 8:43Spinnburg because she spun away into office and said, oh, I'm a moderate. I'm a moderate. I'm a moderate. I don't want to do that
  117. 8:47I don't I don't want to change anything. I don't I don't I don't want to get rid of ice
  118. 8:51I don't want to and then she got elected and I mean the radicalism just began to ooze out of her every poor
  119. 9:00But you know have you thought about this and we discussed this before
  120. 9:07what is the commonality between these radical Muslims and these communists
  121. 9:14Yes.
  122. 9:16Because they are joined at the hip.
  123. 9:20I'm sure you know that there's an investigation of what right now of Hassan Piker over his
  124. 9:31trip to Cuba.
  125. 9:34Now Hassan Piker is a Muslim.
  126. 9:37Now they said, well, he's not a practicing Muslim.
  127. 9:40You are Muslim by virtue of your father's religion.
  128. 9:44If your father's a Muslim, you're born, you are Muslim.
  129. 9:47He's a Muslim, but he just seemed apparently loves communism.
  130. 9:52And I've thought about what is the commonality because we've often joked that if Islam actually
  131. 10:01took over, these radical leftists, the so-called LGBTQ crowd and the socialists, they'd be
  132. 10:13the first ones to go.
  133. 10:16I mean, they would, it wouldn't take but two seconds for them to get executed.
  134. 10:24If the radical Muslims actually got the mochte that they're looking for, who would establish
  135. 10:31Sharia law and implement it at the point of a gun or bayonet.
  136. 10:38And these people who are liberal and we want to kill unborn babies and we think guys are
  137. 10:45born into girls' bodies, they would wipe them out in the blink of an eye.
  138. 10:54But right now, they joined it.
  139. 10:57Why?
  140. 10:58Here's the reason.
  141. 11:00And I want to expound a little bit further on this in the next segment.
  142. 11:03But let me just give you the thumbnail.
  143. 11:06Number one, they share a common hatred of the United States of America.
  144. 11:14The enemy of my enemy is my friend.
  145. 11:19They hate our country.
  146. 11:20They hate our culture.
  147. 11:22They hate our Judeo-Christian values.
  148. 11:25They hate our liberty.
  149. 11:28They just hate the United States of America.
  150. 11:31They hate our commitment to Israel.
  151. 11:35The left and Islam have somewhat different reasons, but nevertheless, they are joined in their anti-Semitic
  152. 11:43passions.
  153. 11:44But here's the second thing.
  154. 11:49This is something that we don't really think about.
  155. 11:54Most people don't.
  156. 11:56They share a common love of controlling
  157. 12:02and enslaving people.
  158. 12:06Oh yes, folks.
  159. 12:08See, that's why the partnership inevitably,
  160. 12:11where one or the other to take over,
  161. 12:14the partnership would ultimately dissolve
  162. 12:16because they both want absolute power and control
  163. 12:20and enslavement of others.
  164. 12:23Right now they're joined at the hip because neither of them has that, but that's what they both want.
  165. 12:31You know, I've said this before and forgive me if this is repetitive or redundant,
  166. 12:36but you know, communism is really nothing but a glorified slave system.
  167. 12:41That's really all it is.
  168. 12:43When the government owns all the property, the government controls everything.
  169. 12:47They control how much food you get.
  170. 12:48They control where you live.
  171. 12:50They control where you work.
  172. 12:52They control what you can do.
  173. 12:54They control where you go to school.
  174. 12:56That's slavery folks.
  175. 12:58I mean, it's slavery when they have life
  176. 13:02and death control over you.
  177. 13:06And almost virtually with a word,
  178. 13:09they can take your life away
  179. 13:12and it couldn't even be challenged.
  180. 13:17That's slavery.
  181. 13:20And that's really what Marxism, socialism, communism,
  182. 13:23it's ultimately is.
  183. 13:25And the left is toying with this under the guise of compassion.
  184. 13:31Oh, the government needs to do this and the government needs to do that and the government
  185. 13:35needs to do this and the government needs to take care of that and the government needs
  186. 13:38to do everything.
  187. 13:40This is attributed to Thomas Jefferson, whether he actually said it or not, I believe this really
  188. 13:44captures his sentiment, the government that's big enough to give you everything you want
  189. 13:48is big enough to take everything you have.
  190. 13:54And that's exactly where Sharia law, radical Islam, Islam in general, that's where it
  191. 14:00goes and that's exactly where Marxism goes to totalitarianism, to absolute control and
  192. 14:07slavery and enslavement of everybody.
  193. 14:10That's where they want to go.
  194. 14:12And they're mutually compatible in that sense, except neither one of them would accept the
  195. 14:20other sharing power.
  196. 14:21And I'll get a little bit into that when we come back.
  197. 14:23This is Bishop E.W. Jackson and for Abraham Hamilton the third, this is the Hamilton Corner.
  198. 14:27We'll be back in just a moment.
  199. 15:00a discipleship minute with Joseph Parker.
  200. 15:03We live in a crazy, dangerous world
  201. 15:06that includes spiritual warfare,
  202. 15:08raging everywhere you go.
  203. 15:10We who are followers of Christ need to be warrior minded
  204. 15:13in our approach to how we follow and live for Christ
  205. 15:15in this dangerous world.
  206. 15:17Not being alert, making unwise decisions,
  207. 15:20moving without a sense of urgency,
  208. 15:22any and all of these actions in wartime
  209. 15:24can literally cause someone to get killed.
  210. 15:27Psalm 91 is a unique weapon in scripture
  211. 15:30that addresses many of the perils in life.
  212. 15:33Are you making it a priority to pray?
  213. 15:35Psalm 91 every single day.
  214. 15:38If not, why not?
  215. 15:40Well, I'm not a fanatic
  216. 15:42and I don't see a need to pray
  217. 15:44this particular scripture every single day.
  218. 15:47Well, if that is you,
  219. 15:48I believe you'd be wise to change your mind
  220. 15:51and to begin to pray this prayer every day.
  221. 15:53No one or nothing can protect you like God can.
  222. 16:04Shining light into the darkness.
  223. 16:06This is the Hamilton Corner, an American family radio.
  224. 16:11And this is E.W. Jackson in the Abraham Hamilton.
  225. 16:14The third, great to be with you.
  226. 16:17I wanna start taking calls in the next segment.
  227. 16:19And of course it's open lines.
  228. 16:20You can raise any issue you like.
  229. 16:22But you like to comment on the things I'm talking about.
  230. 16:25Of course I'd be glad to hear what you have to say about that.
  231. 16:29Think about what we saw during Memorial Day.
  232. 16:34I said, we expressed our most of us,
  233. 16:38expressed our gratitude for those who have given their lives
  234. 16:41on behalf of our liberty.
  235. 16:44But on the left, you had some really very strange reactions,
  236. 16:50ugly reactions, frankly.
  237. 16:52Did you hear about the congressional candidate
  238. 16:55from California who refused to say the Pledge of Allegiance,
  239. 17:00refused to look at the flag, turned her back
  240. 17:03whenever she saw the flag?
  241. 17:04This is during Memorial Day weekend.
  242. 17:07This is how the left, the demon-crat party,
  243. 17:12this is how they choose to express themselves
  244. 17:16because again, they have this hatred, this bitterness,
  245. 17:20this anger, this resentment of the United States of America
  246. 17:24instead of an attitude of gratitude.
  247. 17:27And then there was Jacob Fry,
  248. 17:30the infamous mayor of Minneapolis,
  249. 17:33who in his statement honored George Floyd,
  250. 17:41not the people who surrendered their very lives
  251. 17:46who shed their blood in our behalf
  252. 17:49all across this world, not them, no, no, no, no,
  253. 17:52George Floyd.
  254. 17:56Now, you know, sometimes you really,
  255. 18:03the level of demonic deception is almost in scutable, folks.
  256. 18:08I mean, it's just unfathomable.
  257. 18:12Yes, I believe that George Floyd did indeed
  258. 18:15suffer an injustice, but he brought that injustice
  259. 18:21upon himself by engaging in fentanyl use
  260. 18:28and methamphetamine use and trying to pass counterfeit money
  261. 18:35and not cooperating with the police.
  262. 18:38And he sadly fell into the clutches of a police officer
  263. 18:41who just had terrible judgment.
  264. 18:43I don't know whether it was based upon racial animus,
  265. 18:46or if I don't know what it was.
  266. 18:48For me, that stuff is irrelevant.
  267. 18:51The only question for me is the behavior itself.
  268. 18:54Is it lawful?
  269. 18:55Is it unlawful?
  270. 18:55Joy found that it was unlawful.
  271. 18:57He's in jail now.
  272. 18:57But what we know is that George Floyd's system
  273. 19:01was filled with fentanyl, filled with methamphetamine.
  274. 19:05His heart may have given out to me.
  275. 19:09He had all kinds of problems that he brought on himself.
  276. 19:13And people want to erect statues and then associate him
  277. 19:17with the brave, heroic people who gave their lives for us,
  278. 19:25doing everything right in that instance, and nothing wrong.
  279. 19:32And finally, he got so much blowback from it
  280. 19:34that he finally did, dang, to put out a statement
  281. 19:37that acknowledged the people who'd given their lives
  282. 19:40Memorial Day two, but that was an afterthought because it wasn't wasn't about that because
  283. 19:45as I've said many times, they don't even like us folks. They don't like Americans. They are
  284. 19:53Americans, at least in name only, at least legally, but they don't like us because they
  285. 19:58don't like our values. They don't like our ideals. They don't like our patriotism. They
  286. 20:02don't like us honoring the servicemen. Oh, no, no, you ought to be honoring George Floyd.
  287. 20:09why? What did he do to earn me honoring him? He was a victim, yes, but that doesn't mean
  288. 20:19that you're some, that doesn't mean I should somehow lionize you and somehow you become a
  289. 20:24hero because you're a victim, particularly when your victimization was in part contributed
  290. 20:28to by yourself. You know, and when I was practicing law, we had a concept called contributory
  291. 20:38negligence. And what that means is, and they probably still use the concept, what that means is that
  292. 20:44even when you are injured by someone, by somewhat as a result of someone else's negligence,
  293. 20:54did you in some way contribute? In other words, should you have taken some action to prevent
  294. 20:59the injury and you were, you were negligent too by not seeing that or foreseeing that by doing
  295. 21:07whatever you did, it would likely lead to injury, even if the person who set the situation up,
  296. 21:13who created the problem. I mean, so for example, you're walking in a supermarket and you see a great
  297. 21:18big old puddle of water and there's a sign there that says, do not walk slippery, do not walk.
  298. 21:26Now, maybe the sign is not enough. Maybe there should be a gate offense or something,
  299. 21:34something around that spot. So to some extent, you might say, well, the company's negligence
  300. 21:38because they should have prevented people from walking.
  301. 21:40But if you walked in that spot, you've got some responsibility too because you could have
  302. 21:44walked around it.
  303. 21:47So you were contributory negligent in refusing to acknowledge that that was a dangerous thing
  304. 21:54you did.
  305. 21:55Even if the person on the other side of that, the person responsible for that situation could
  306. 22:00have taken further actions to prevent the accident.
  307. 22:06So in other words, maybe you win $10,000 for your back injuries.
  308. 22:11And the jury says, but you know what, we're going to deduct $5,000 from that because you
  309. 22:15should have known better than the walkthrough that.
  310. 22:19So this is the situation.
  311. 22:20I mean, yeah, I think the George Floyd did suffer some mistreatment, but he brought that
  312. 22:26on himself.
  313. 22:27He put himself in the position where that could happen.
  314. 22:33You know, we've got these team rages.
  315. 22:36rages or what they're calling now,
  316. 22:38teen takeovers happening all over the country.
  317. 22:42Now we had one here in Virginia,
  318. 22:45in Norfolk, in the Ghent area where some guy
  319. 22:46went out there with a flame door,
  320. 22:48dropped the poured gasoline all over the street
  321. 22:50and hit it with a flame floor and lit the whole street
  322. 22:53up in flames and fire.
  323. 22:56I mean, I realized how many people could have been
  324. 22:58horribly disfigured or killed by this kind of action,
  325. 23:02but it was part of this teen takeover.
  326. 23:04We're here in the streets and we're gonna do
  327. 23:06whatever we want to do.
  328. 23:09I mean, if you get injured in a situation like that,
  329. 23:14well, you're a part of that, well, guess what?
  330. 23:15You might be a victim, but you're
  331. 23:18a contributor to your own downfall too.
  332. 23:22And you don't turn a person like that into a hero.
  333. 23:28You may lament that they were stupid enough to do what they did
  334. 23:30and lament whatever else contributed to that situation,
  335. 23:34but you don't erect a statue.
  336. 23:38So yeah, Jacob Fry comes out on Memorial Day.
  337. 23:40We're going to honor George Floyd.
  338. 23:41I mean, oh my goodness gracious folks.
  339. 23:44I think about the brave men and women.
  340. 23:47I think of Michael Mansour who during the Iraq war,
  341. 23:51if I'm not mistaken, I think it was during the Iraq war,
  342. 23:53Navy Seal up on a rooftop providing cover
  343. 23:57for some fellow troops and somebody,
  344. 23:59Islamic terrorist throws a hand grenade up there on the roof.
  345. 24:03And Michael Mansour, who was, he was the head of his team,
  346. 24:07he was leader of his team,
  347. 24:09And he was near the stairwell from which the grenade came,
  348. 24:14but the grenade went past him.
  349. 24:16He was in the best position to escape injury
  350. 24:19by running down the stairs, but he didn't.
  351. 24:23He turned and dived on the grenade to save his fellow seals,
  352. 24:28and every single one of them was saved,
  353. 24:30and Michael Mansour was killed.
  354. 24:32Now you mean to tell me, you want me
  355. 24:34to put George Floyd in that category
  356. 24:36if you've lost your mind?
  357. 24:42He doesn't deserve it.
  358. 24:44And anybody who does that is insulting every military veteran
  359. 24:49who gave their lives or shed their blood for this great nation.
  360. 24:54Yeah, it makes me godly angry and turning your flag,
  361. 24:59your back on the flag.
  362. 25:00Just leave.
  363. 25:02Go find a flag that you don't mind honoring and acknowledging
  364. 25:08instead of standing around here in our country
  365. 25:10and salting all of us.
  366. 25:14And look, these, are you ready for this one?
  367. 25:23Did you hear AOC talking about the Northerners need
  368. 25:29to roll up on the South?
  369. 25:33What?
  370. 25:36I mean, what is wrong with these people?
  371. 25:40But again, what's wrong with them?
  372. 25:42They just don't love our country
  373. 25:45and they don't like the rest of us.
  374. 25:49You know, because the love of God
  375. 25:50and she had in it brought in our hearts, I don't like AOC.
  376. 25:54I don't like anything she stands for.
  377. 25:56But as a Christian, I love her because I realized,
  378. 25:59God loves her and wants to save her.
  379. 26:01He wants to deliver her.
  380. 26:03He wants to redeem her.
  381. 26:04She has just as lost as a duck in a hailstorm.
  382. 26:07She doesn't know which way is up or down.
  383. 26:11But she's convinced that she knows it all.
  384. 26:15And is calling on, because I guess because
  385. 26:18of the redistricting stuff, is calling on
  386. 26:20in Northerners to pull up on the South.
  387. 26:25Now what in the world is she talking about?
  388. 26:31Not to mention, if she's in fact talking
  389. 26:35about a violent confrontation, I would not recommend that.
  390. 26:39Because we southerners, and even though I was raised
  391. 26:44in North, my family came from Virginia,
  392. 26:47I consider myself a southerner, we southerners don't play.
  393. 26:52We believe as I said earlier, we do have a right to defend ourselves.
  394. 26:55Now don't get me wrong.
  395. 26:56I am not in any way encouraging violence against anybody or harming anybody.
  396. 27:00But I will reaffirm again our fundamental right to defend ourselves against those who
  397. 27:06would do violence against us and against our families.
  398. 27:08You barking up the wrong tree system.
  399. 27:13But again, these folks just don't have any respect for the rule of law, any respect
  400. 27:21for common decency.
  401. 27:24You hear them complaining about, you know, they've had some recent protests at some of these
  402. 27:30ICE detention centers and they're complaining about the treatment.
  403. 27:34But, you know, not a single American killed by some illegal alien,
  404. 27:39not a single child abused in trying to traffic that child into this country
  405. 27:45and make money off that child. Not a single woman raped
  406. 27:48has been, has been highlighted by these leftists in these demon
  407. 27:54crafts. Never, ever, ever. They don't, they don't even bring that up.
  408. 27:59Why? Because they don't really care about what happens to the American
  409. 28:02people. They care about their own power, their own control. And
  410. 28:05they see these illegal aliens as an opportunity to get where they
  411. 28:08want to go. And they don't care what they do to you or me. Just,
  412. 28:13just, just protect them. Just justify them. Just, just keep the
  413. 28:18moving toward the voting booth so that one day they can vote us in and we can have absolute
  414. 28:23power and control. We can enslave the American people the way they deserve to be enslaved.
  415. 28:30I'll tell you folks, we are in a spiritual crisis in our country because we've had so many
  416. 28:44people who think this way. You know, 30% of ages 18 to 29, 30% of people ages 18 to 29,
  417. 28:53I believe that socialism is superior to capitalism and we ought to move toward a socialist system.
  418. 28:59That's almost a third of the young people coming along in our country.
  419. 29:03These are the people who are going to move into positions of power and influence and authority
  420. 29:07and a third of them believe that nonsense.
  421. 29:10Well, they've been indoctrinated to believe it.
  422. 29:13They've been taught to believe it.
  423. 29:16Well, here at On American Family Radio at least, we're seeking to disabuse people of these wacky notions.
  424. 29:26Well, look, in the next segment, I want to hear your comments about the things that are
  425. 29:33going on, and particularly the craziness.
  426. 29:36You know, Memorial Day used to be a time like July 4th when we were all united in our patriotism,
  427. 29:42and now you got people, I'm not celebrating July 4th.
  428. 29:45Why should I celebrate July 4th?
  429. 29:46You know that Colin Kaepernick craziness.
  430. 29:49You know, and I want to say, you don't have to celebrate July 4th.
  431. 29:56You don't have to stay here.
  432. 29:59I mean, do yourself a favor and go live where you will be happy.
  433. 30:04And they say, I think I'd be a little bit happy if you left, you know,
  434. 30:07because I wouldn't have to hear this nonsense from a person who benefits from
  435. 30:12all the blessings this, this country bestows upon you.
  436. 30:15Because it's always wealthy celebrities, people who are living the best,
  437. 30:20driving the best, protected by bodyguards, eating the best,
  438. 30:25eating in the finest restaurants, buying the finest foods,
  439. 30:29who are complaining about how terrible the country is and how much they hate it.
  440. 30:35And you want to say, you know what?
  441. 30:37Don't let the door knob hit you on the way out.
  442. 30:41You don't just...
  443. 30:43I mean, why do you suffer living in this country that you so abhor?
  444. 30:54But we know what the game is. The game is better to reign in hell than serve in heaven.
  445. 31:02they would rather have a socialist dystopia to control than have a wonderful, free, prosperous
  446. 31:09nation in which they can't have absolute control.
  447. 31:16That was the Devil's attitude.
  448. 31:18According to John Milton, I think he nailed it too.
  449. 31:22John Milton's Paradise Law, he said that that's the Devil's attitude, better to reign in hell
  450. 31:29than serve in heaven.
  451. 31:32I think that's the attitude of the left.
  452. 31:34We would rather reign over an absolutely wrecked America as long as we're in power than to
  453. 31:46serve in a country where we've got this little irritant called the Constitution of the United
  454. 31:54States that stops us from having absolute power in control.
  455. 31:58You know, I've raised this question with people and they have often sort of looked at me because
  456. 32:07They hadn't thought about it before I said,
  457. 32:09what was wrong with heaven that the devil rebelled?
  458. 32:13What was wrong?
  459. 32:14I'd say what was wrong with his sight?
  460. 32:16He didn't run it.
  461. 32:20We've got the same attitude on the left.
  462. 32:22The numbers 888-589-8840, that's 888-589-8840.
  463. 32:27This is Bishop E.W. Jackson in for Abraham Hamilton the third.

  476. 33:38The Awakening with Bishop E.W. Jackson.
  477. 33:41We have not been made the greatest nation of history of mankind,
  478. 33:45by denigrating God.
  479. 33:47We have become the greatest nation on earth
  480. 33:50because we are a nation that acknowledged all by the God
  481. 33:54to be the source of our values, our rights, our liberties,
  482. 34:00and that therefore we are accountable to Him.
  483. 34:03The Awakening on the Podcast page at aFR.net.
  484. 34:13The Hamilton Quarter podcast and one-minute commentaries are available at aFR.net back to
  485. 34:19the Hamilton Quarter on American Family Radio.
  486. 34:22All right, we're back.
  487. 34:24This is E.W. Jackson in for Abraham Hamilton III.
  488. 34:27The number is 888-588-8840.
  489. 34:31That's 888-588-58840.
  490. 34:34Would love to take your calls here, which you have to say about this.
  491. 34:37Let me just say because this is some pretty dark stuff we're talking about and it's very,
  492. 34:42real and I think we're at a crisis point in our country, culturally and spiritually.
  493. 34:50We've got to pray.
  494. 34:51We have got to pray in prequatory prayers against these folks and pray that God would just introduce
  495. 34:56such confusion.
  496. 34:58I would say we have to pray prayers like Jehoshaphat prayed.
  497. 35:03Lord, we don't know what to do but our eyes are on you and then set ourselves and stand
  498. 35:07still and see the salvation of the Lord.
  499. 35:09By the way, when they set themselves, they didn't go home and go to sleep.
  500. 35:12They took to the battlefield.
  501. 35:14They took to the battlefield and God stepped in and gave them a mighty deliverance and turned
  502. 35:20the armies of the Moab's, the Moabites and the Ammonites and the people of Mount Seer
  503. 35:26against one another and they destroyed themselves.
  504. 35:31They had come together hoping to destroy God's people and they ended up destroying each other.
  505. 35:37So look, I don't want anybody's destruction, but if it comes between they're destroying
  506. 35:42this country and destroying themselves by their own wicked plans, I'll accept a ladder
  507. 35:49any day of the week and twice on Sunday because they're basically reaping what they've sown.
  508. 35:55I don't have ill will toward these people, but I certainly have ill will toward their plans
  509. 35:58for our country.
  510. 36:00So we got to pray against this stuff and then of course fully engage in the process to the
  511. 36:04full extent that God allows us to. The number again is 888-589-8840. Let's go to your calls.
  512. 36:13We've got Brian from Indiana. Brian, welcome.
  513. 36:18Thank you for taking my call, Bishop. I just wanted to first of all thank you for your faithfulness
  514. 36:23to the Lord and your love for the gospel of Jesus. And secondly, thank you for your love
  515. 36:30for this country. I appreciate you so much. You know, it just sickens me that these communists
  516. 36:38want to take over our country. And you know, if only we would have listened to Joe McCarthy
  517. 36:44back in the day, maybe we wouldn't be where we're at today. Anyway, thanks, take my call
  518. 36:49and I'll let you.
  519. 36:50Thank you.
  520. 36:51I'll comment from there.
  521. 36:52Thank you. Well, listen, you know, when you mentioned Joe McCarthy and it conjures up
  522. 36:56such monstrous things in the hearts of so many people.
  523. 36:59But I'll tell you something, Joe McCarthy had a point
  524. 37:02and they destroyed him.
  525. 37:03I mean, they really did a job on him.
  526. 37:06And he may have contributed to that a little bit himself as well.
  527. 37:10And I'll tell you this why I think
  528. 37:12rather than a single person leading this charge,
  529. 37:15we need a lot of people leading it.
  530. 37:17I've called for a national security audit.
  531. 37:20We need to look at all of the ways
  532. 37:24in which our country is being undermined from within.
  533. 37:27Birthright citizenship, the extent to which
  534. 37:31communist China is financing a lot of these protests
  535. 37:35and a lot of these anti-American activities
  536. 37:37going on in our country.
  537. 37:40The spies that they have all over the country,
  538. 37:42every now and then we see one arrested.
  539. 37:45There was a time when we saw several,
  540. 37:47about in fact I think at one point
  541. 37:49there were like a dozen of them being charged.
  542. 37:50Of course the Biden administration
  543. 37:52to drive a lot of the charges against them.
  544. 37:54But we've got communist spies.
  545. 37:56Remember the, I think it was Arcadia, California?
  546. 38:00The mayor, the mayor was convicted of spying
  547. 38:04for communist China.
  548. 38:07And then the institutional infiltration,
  549. 38:09all the Confucius Institutes, the purchasing of land
  550. 38:12near some of our most sensitive facilities,
  551. 38:15the purchasing of our meat plants and farmland,
  552. 38:20the extent to which communist China has been allowed to take over certain essential industries that we are dependent upon for our own sustenance.
  553. 38:29All of that, we need to do a national security audit and correct all of that.
  554. 38:35I mean, there's no better president to do with than President Trump.
  555. 38:38Not on the way that he started, but in those holistic terms.
  556. 38:41But somebody's got to, and they'll call that a witch hunt, and they'll say, you know, you're racist, and, you know,
  557. 38:48I mean, you know, they'll try it out all the usual bromides, but it's got to be done anyway
  558. 38:53for the survival of our country.
  559. 38:57Thank you for the call.
  560. 38:58My friend, let's go to Mike in West Virginia.
  561. 39:00Mike, welcome.
  562. 39:01Who planted time bombs and you were able with the ship and running the Democrat party leadership.
  563. 39:29Wow.
  564. 39:30Well, you may be right, Mike.
  565. 39:32I tell you one thing.
  566. 39:34In my humble opinion, and thank you for the call, by the way, Mike, in my humble opinion,
  567. 39:40The spirit of the demon-crat party has not changed.
  568. 39:45It has always been the party of control.
  569. 39:48It has always been the party of slavery.
  570. 39:51And it has nothing to do with race.
  571. 39:55It's the spirit of domination as opposed to appropriate dominion.
  572. 40:03See, God gave man dominion, but man in his perverse thinking,
  573. 40:07once he became separated from God, didn't want dominion.
  574. 40:10He wanted domination.
  575. 40:13And that's exactly what they become the party of.
  576. 40:18They don't believe in individual liberty.
  577. 40:19They only believe in collectivism because the collective should have a right to impose upon
  578. 40:23you what you think, what you say, and what you do.
  579. 40:27And so in that sense, it really hasn't changed.
  580. 40:29The packaging has changed.
  581. 40:31The patina has changed.
  582. 40:33But the real, this insatiable thirst and hunger and desire to control people, it hasn't
  583. 40:43changed. It has not changed. Whether it's the Ku Klux Klan or it's Antifa, right? And you
  584. 40:54see the Southern Poverty, Southern Poverty Law Center, take all that, because it's not
  585. 41:00about being Southern, it's not about poverty either. I'm insulted. It does the Southern Poverty
  586. 41:06Law Center. What's it? Here they were five millions of dollars financing the very organizations
  587. 41:13they claim to be against, you know, to manipulate people to give them more money so they could
  588. 41:16fight these.
  589. 41:19Once again, folks, it just goes to show these people don't care about our country and they
  590. 41:23certainly don't care about you and me.
  591. 41:25They care about power.
  592. 41:27The number is 888-589-8840.
  593. 41:31That's 888-589-8840.
  594. 41:33We've got a few open lines.
  595. 41:34You can comment on anything we're talking about or something that we haven't talked about,
  596. 41:38that you want to raise.
  597. 41:39Feel free.
  598. 41:40888-589-8840.
  599. 41:41for zero. Let's go back to the lines. We've got Benjamin in Alabama. Benjamin welcome.
  600. 41:49I wanted to say that I agree with most everything you say related to how the liberal side is pushing.
  601. 42:00But I do feel that capitalism is failing us also. I think that it is basically,
  602. 42:07I can't put it into words, but I think that's what the third of the youth see is the failures
  603. 42:14of capitalism that push them towards the idea that socialism might be better, even though
  604. 42:20we kind of know it is not.
  605. 42:22Benjamin, well, tell me quickly, in what way you think what you think they see that tells
  606. 42:31them that capitalism is failing us?
  607. 42:33Well, think about current inflation.
  608. 42:36about how the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poor.
  609. 42:40Whenever you're on that bottom side, you look up and you see no way forward.
  610. 42:44And I mean, capitalism does that.
  611. 42:47It allows people who are in really rich situations to use their wealth to further their wealth.
  612. 42:51That's a reality that we live in.
  613. 42:54Okay, Benjamin, thank you so much for the call.
  614. 42:57I would recommend to Benjamin and to all of you who may hear this that you read.
  615. 43:04Oh man, I wish I had the title of that book in front of me.
  616. 43:08But I'm sure if you look up Thomas Sol's books,
  617. 43:12I'm not sure whether it's his, he wrote a book on communism,
  618. 43:17but he will explain something very, very important
  619. 43:21that all of us need to know that most people don't.
  620. 43:25This notion that the rich get richer and the poor get poorer is not true.
  621. 43:30Because here's what actually happens in our capitalist system,
  622. 43:33I'm not, believe me, I'm not saying that capitalism is perfect.
  623. 43:37We're not in heaven, folks.
  624. 43:39You know, I think it was Winston Churchill
  625. 43:42who said at least it's been attributed to him.
  626. 43:44Capitalism is the worst system in the world,
  627. 43:47except for all the others.
  628. 43:49So it's not perfect, no.
  629. 43:51But here's what heat Thomas Sol points out
  630. 43:54from a statistical point of view that most people don't know.
  631. 43:57That top 20%, that top 10%, that top 5%,
  632. 44:00that people say the rich keep getting richer
  633. 44:02and the poor keep getting poorer, guess what?
  634. 44:04That's not a permanent group of people. It's changing all the time. There are people now,
  635. 44:11there are people at the very, very, very top echelon that have a lot of money and they're
  636. 44:16not likely to slip into poverty. But most of the people in that top echelon of income earners,
  637. 44:23they start out poor and they end up in that top 5, 10%. And then at some point, depending upon how
  638. 44:33much wealth they've amassed, they may end up slipping back, not necessarily into poverty,
  639. 44:38but back down into the lower percentiles when they get into retirement, when they start
  640. 44:42spending down whatever wealth they've had.
  641. 44:44In other words, he points out that, you know, when people say the rich, it's as if they're
  642. 44:49talking about a single identifiable fixed group.
  643. 44:53Well, they're not.
  644. 44:54I mean, if you will forgive the personal reference, look, I started out my early life at times eating
  645. 45:03mannae sandwiches, biscuits and syrup as my dinner because there wasn't any other food in the house.
  646. 45:12Now my wife and I eat whatever we want. And I'm not going to share our personal information,
  647. 45:20but I'll tell you what, we're not in the lowest percentiles of income anymore. In fact, there are
  648. 45:26many people who would say, well, you are in the wealthy percentile, but that's not where I started
  649. 45:32out. And guess what? There are people I remember a story not too long ago about a guy who was
  650. 45:39worth, oh I forget what he was worth, but you know, a million or more dollars. And because of the
  651. 45:46the the the internet burst in, you know, the the the burst in the bubble of the what happened
  652. 45:55with the internet when the internet kind of went bust. He lost almost all his money and
  653. 46:00and ended up working at a fast food restaurant.
  654. 46:04So that's the point.
  655. 46:06Capitalism is not perfect, no,
  656. 46:07but it is far more fluid and far more mobile
  657. 46:10than people want to admit,
  658. 46:13because they always talk about the rich and the poor,
  659. 46:16as if they're always the same group,
  660. 46:19and it's just not true.
  661. 46:21888-589-8840 is the number.
  662. 46:23Let me see, I've got some more calls here.
  663. 46:25Let me try to get to these.
  664. 46:26Let's go to Jeremy in Kansas.
  665. 46:30Jeremy, welcome.
  666. 46:31Thank you, Bishop.
  667. 46:34I appreciate you being on the radio and saying the things that you do.
  668. 46:38I just wanted to say that no government is good without good people running it.
  669. 46:44That's why we need to check our i-loader guide, know who we're voting for and get out and vote.
  670. 46:50Amen.
  671. 46:51Jeremy, you said everything that needs to be said about that subject.
  672. 46:56I just agree with you entirely.
  673. 47:01Let's go to Tom in Arkansas.
  674. 47:04Tom, welcome.
  675. 47:05Hey there, Bishop.
  676. 47:06Thank you.
  677. 47:07You're always glad when you sit in.
  678. 47:09I just wanted to comment on the collar before last because, you know, when I was a kid and
  679. 47:13when you were a kid, it was pretty easy for someone to open their own hardware store or
  680. 47:18you could walk into sun records and record something.
  681. 47:21You know, the capitalism is just not scaled in a way that I think a lot of people can even
  682. 47:28figure out how to get their foot in the door with it.
  683. 47:30You know, it's just, you know, it's a matter of a huge population and the fact that we don't
  684. 47:35pay attention to God anymore and you combine all that together.
  685. 47:38And I think people just look and they're overwhelmed plus they don't get a good education.
  686. 47:42You know, so yeah.
  687. 47:44Yeah.
  688. 47:45Yeah.
  689. 47:46Tom, thank you so much for the call, folks.
  690. 47:48We're getting close to being out of time.
  691. 47:50Look, you're right.
  692. 47:51There are obstacles there hurdles and yet people keep breaking through them, don't they?
  693. 47:58Let's try to get Marty in here before I have to go Marty. Welcome to the program. I think Marty's from Iowa welcome
  694. 48:05Bishop, thank you so much, you know, just one of the examples of us being in slaves would be the property tax
  695. 48:12And I love how president Trump talks about you don't own your house
  696. 48:17You're renting it from the government and not one American is opposed to taxes
  697. 48:23but when they become overwhelming and overburdened them,
  698. 48:28and we watch services drop and the price of our property going up,
  699. 48:35and it is. It's a sign that we have become so stupid
  700. 48:39that we allow this to happen, and then we see some of the
  701. 48:43crazy political things. I live in Iowa and they've turned our
  702. 48:47beautiful Iowa into a Chinese fan corporation where
  703. 48:52these fans that are supposed to make electricity and they cannot sustain themselves.
  704. 48:58And that's one of our property taxes, which is-
  705. 49:01We're out of time, Marty.
  706. 49:02Marty, we're out of time.
  707. 49:04Thank you so much for the call.
  708. 49:05It was Chief Justice John Marsh who said the power to tax is the power to destroy.
  709. 49:10True words were never spoken.
  710. 49:11That's going to do it for today.
  711. 49:12Great to be with you.
  712. 49:13I'll be back again tomorrow.
  713. 49:14In the meantime, you know what to do.
  714. 49:16Stand up, step up, speak up, and refuse to back up,
  715. 49:19because we cannot be defeated if we will not quit,
  716. 49:22because we are on God's side.
