  10. 0:29and now the Hamilton Corner.
  11. 0:33And of course this is once again Bishop E.W. Jackson in 4.
  12. 0:37Abraham Hamilton III. Great to be with you again today.
  13. 0:41And happy to substitute for that great young man.
  14. 0:44And let's have a great discussion today about some very, very important matters
  15. 0:51and make Abraham Hamilton III proud of how this program has gone.
  16. 0:57while I'm sitting behind his microphone, so to speak.
  17. 1:01Well, look, first of all, I want to say, for those of you who did take advantage of the

  33. 2:23I also want to mention again, I think I did last night mention this, but I do want to mention
  34. 2:30again, I am launching officially on July 4th, but unofficially it actually begins on June
  35. 2:38the 18th.
  36. 2:39I'll be speaking at the Nutramax Company and then on June the 19th I'll be speaking at
  37. 2:45Joy Church in Matthews, North Carolina for the kickoff really of the Truth Tour.
  38. 2:52And I'm really excited about this.
  39. 2:54It's in celebration of the 250th anniversary of our beloved country.
  40. 3:00And the truth tour is subtitled Untold Facts About American History, or Facts About American
  41. 3:07History You Were Never Taught.
  42. 3:10Because what we've learned about American history has been a pollenic against our country.
  43. 3:16And the reason why so many people who are American citizens have a hatred and bitterness
  44. 3:22and resentment for our country is that they were taught lies about our history.
  45. 3:27They were taught to hate our country because they want to use them for the nefarious purposes
  46. 3:33of the left-wing movement to somehow fundamentally transform or overthrow our constitutional
  47. 3:38republic.
  48. 3:40And I want to set the record straight.
  49. 3:42I don't call myself a historian.
  50. 3:44Maybe before I go to heaven, maybe I will be a historian.
  51. 3:47Who knows?
  52. 3:48But right now I'm a student of history, that's for sure.
  53. 3:50And the more I learned about history, the more grateful I am for this country and its exceptional
  54. 3:56nature and the impact, the positive impact that we have had on the entire world.
  55. 4:04This narrative that pretends somehow that the world was just a great place and it along came
  56. 4:09America and the mess did all up.
  57. 4:13If it weren't taught so broadly and so widely,
  58. 4:20it would just be silly.
  59. 4:22You just have to laugh it off.
  60. 4:24But sadly, it has been inculcated into the minds
  61. 4:28and hearts of so many of our people.
  62. 4:30I really believe that's why we have this political division.
  63. 4:35Because those of us who understand who we are as a country,
  64. 4:38those of us who understand what the fundamental values
  65. 4:40of our country are, individual liberty,
  66. 4:43personal responsibility, love of family, love of God and a faith, family, freedom.
  67. 4:51We continue to be grateful to God even though we know our country is not perfect and there
  68. 4:55things about it that we know need to be changed, but we are not interested in changing the fundamental
  69. 5:01nature of this country as a constitutional republic. We know that that's its blessing, not its curse,
  70. 5:07but there are people who really believe that the present structure of the country is indeed
  71. 5:12a curse and that there's something fundamentally wrong with it, it needs to be fundamentally
  72. 5:16transformed.
  73. 5:18America does not need fundamental transformation.
  74. 5:21What America needs is to return to the fundamentals.
  75. 5:27That's what we need.
  76. 5:29And so the truth toward is intended to set the record straight about American history.
  77. 5:37And if I start into it, I'll take the whole hour talking about that because there's a lot
  78. 5:43to talk about. I'll certainly be debunking the major myths. The big lies about America,
  79. 5:51a big lie number one, America was built on slavery. The 1619 project, even going so far
  80. 6:00to say America was founded for slavery, founded to perpetuate slavery. I mean, these are lies
  81. 6:06out of the pit of hell. They are contemptible, disgusting, just fantastic lies. They really
  82. 6:19are. I mean, they're not even worthy of debate because it's so far off that you just think,
  83. 6:28what is the purpose of saying something like that? Well, the purpose is to convince people
  84. 6:33that America is not legitimate, and that America should be discredited, and that America should
  85. 6:40be transformed. That's really what the purpose of it is. If it's wrong from its inception,
  86. 6:47then you can't just make modern reforms. You've got to have a revolution, so to speak.
  87. 6:54And that's what that's all about. And we stole the land from the Indians. That's another preposterous
  88. 7:01lie. These things are so they, these people have no understanding of history, they have
  89. 7:08no understanding of America, they have no understanding of what the early settlers faced
  90. 7:13in coming to this continent or how that whole situation unfolded, none whatsoever, all they
  91. 7:19have is the polemics. White man bad, everybody else good. And that's it. I mean bottom line.
  92. 7:30I guess the liberals who happen to be Americans of European ancestry, I guess they're claimed
  93. 7:37to fame is that, but we're different.
  94. 7:40We're not like all those other bad white people.
  95. 7:44Folks, again, if this stuff were not so poisonous and so pernicious, you'd really have to just
  96. 7:53laugh it off and say, it's just silly.
  97. 7:58The Bible makes clear there is nonrighteous, no not one.
  98. 8:04All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
  99. 8:08The problem is not race and it never has been.
  100. 8:12The problem is the fallenness of man.
  101. 8:14The problem is the sinfulness of the human heart.
  102. 8:17That's the issue and it has absolutely no racial or ethnic quality to it.
  103. 8:25It is universal.
  104. 8:28And there's only one way out of that trouble.
  105. 8:31And it's not by somehow trying to change or transform your race.
  106. 8:34You know, like these people who they want to change, they want to identify as black,
  107. 8:41as if that's going to somehow fundamentally alter their life.
  108. 8:47The reality is the same sin you were, whatever race you identify with the first place you're
  109. 8:51going to carry with you to whatever the next race is you claim.
  110. 8:54Which again, it's just such silliness.
  111. 8:59The fact of the matter is, the only antidote to what ails us is Jesus Christ.
  112. 9:05What can wash away my sin?
  113. 9:08Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
  114. 9:11What can make me whole again?
  115. 9:13Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
  116. 9:16Precious is that flow that makes me white as snow, nor the fount I know.
  117. 9:22Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
  118. 9:24He is the only antidote to what ails us.
  119. 9:28Our problem is not racial.
  120. 9:31Our problem is righteousness.
  121. 9:34We need more of it and we need to be rid of wickedness.
  122. 9:38And he's the only one who can deliver us out of wickedness into righteousness, for he who
  123. 9:44knew no sin was made to be sin for us, that we might be made the righteousness of God in
  124. 9:51him.
  125. 9:52Now, there is the answer.
  126. 9:56You know the the secularist the atheist the agnostics the you know the
  127. 10:02Believers and all kinds of pagan nonsense
  128. 10:06They think they had the answers when in fact Jesus is the answer
  129. 10:12so the truth tour is going to
  130. 10:15Help people understand American history and frankly I am coming from a biblical worldview
  131. 10:22you, looking at these things through a biblical lens, not through a racial lens or an ideological
  132. 10:27lens, but a biblical lens.
  133. 10:29And therefore willing to confront the truth.
  134. 10:32And look, we have a bit of a perfect country and anybody who would argue that would just
  135. 10:37be lying to themselves and to other people.
  136. 10:39We know that.
  137. 10:42That's not the issue, is it?
  138. 10:44The issue is where America stands and how America compares to all the other nations of
  139. 10:51the world.
  140. 10:52how we compare to any other place one might live.
  141. 10:57And when you look at it through that lens,
  142. 11:02there is no better place on Earth.
  143. 11:08And with whatever mistakes we've made as a nation,
  144. 11:12I'll put our history up against the history of any other nation in the world.
  145. 11:18We have been one of the few nations on Earth,
  146. 11:25on earth, and I dare say, we are right now, perhaps even the only nation on earth that has transcended
  147. 11:33all the cultural pathologies that have engulfed the world because of sin, that we have transcended
  148. 11:40much of that based upon our Judeo-Christian tradition to write, risen above all of that,
  149. 11:49been the the the single greatest place for affirming human dignity and promoting human flourishing
  150. 12:00from people of all backgrounds. You know, you're all this of diversity, equity, inclusion.
  151. 12:07I tell people all the time, you know what, the United States of America is the most diverse
  152. 12:12nation in the history of the world. Now, that's a fact. There's no nation on earth more diverse
  153. 12:23than we are, because we have attracted people from all over the world who have wanted to
  154. 12:29come here in order to participate in and fulfill the American dream, which they knew is within
  155. 12:36the reach of ordinary people.
  156. 12:39You don't have to be wealthy.
  157. 12:40You don't have to be royalty.
  158. 12:41You don't have to be, you know, of the elite class, whatever that means.
  159. 12:49All you have to do is come with a willingness to work, a willingness to make some sacrifices,
  160. 12:54a willingness to be disciplined, a willingness to be law-abiding, a willingness to treat people
  161. 12:59the way you want to be treated, a willingness to do your job with a commitment to excellence,
  162. 13:06whatever that may be.
  163. 13:09And the fact of the matter is, if you do all that, it's hard to be poor in America.
  164. 13:18It's hard to be poor in America.
  165. 13:23Have children within the bonds of marriage rather than having them far flung all over
  166. 13:28the place by, you know, but children out of wedlock. I mean, there are some things that
  167. 13:35a human being can do in this country to assure that you will be prosperous. Not that everybody's
  168. 13:41going to be a millionaire or billionaire, but to assure that you can live a prosperous life.
  169. 13:47And folks, comparatively speaking, to the alternative, it really ain't that hard.
  170. 13:55I didn't say they're on hardships because that comes with the territory of living
  171. 14:00in a fallen world, but it really is not that hard. Well, I've taken up the whole first segment talking
  172. 14:08about this, but look, it's always worth reflecting on how grateful we are to God that we are Americans.
  173. 14:16When we come back, I want to put a few issues before you, and then I'm going to open up the lines
  174. 14:20and segment after that. Stand by. This is Bishop E. W. Jackson. And for Abraham Hamilton the third,
  175. 14:24we're on the Hamilton Corner back in a moment. A discipleship minute with Joseph Parker,
  176. 15:04In the Gospel of Matthew, Chapter 28, starting in verse 18, it tells us these words,
  177. 15:09And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying,
  178. 15:11All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth.
  179. 15:15Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father,
  180. 15:20and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
  181. 15:22Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you, and lo, I am with you,
  182. 15:26always, even to the end of the age.
  183. 15:28Amen.
  184. 15:30That contains what we call the Great Commission.
  185. 15:32It calls us to be a disciple and to make disciples.
  186. 15:36And that's a command God lays before us each and every day.
  187. 15:39Every day is a day for us to follow Jesus Christ
  188. 15:42and to be involved in the work of helping and teaching
  189. 15:44and encouraging others to follow Jesus Christ as well.
  190. 15:48Ask someone how you can pray for them.
  191. 15:50Encourage someone to read three chapters
  192. 15:53in the Bible every day.
  193. 15:54Pray for God to help you to both be a faithful disciple
  194. 15:57and to make disciples as well.
  195. 16:05shiving light into the darkness.
  196. 16:08This is the Hamilton Corner, an American family radio.
  197. 16:14And this is E.W. Jackson in for Abraham Hamilton
  198. 16:17the third today.
  199. 16:18Look, I got a few issues I wanna put before you
  200. 16:21and I wanna get your take on these things.
  201. 16:24I'm sure, and by the way,
  202. 16:28just to kind of put this to rest for the moment,
  203. 16:33I think that we are going to need to be patient with President Trump on the issue of Iran.
  204. 16:42I am not going to join in with the people who are already beginning to dump on him and
  205. 16:47dump on our military and dump on the Secretary of War as if they don't know what they're
  206. 16:54doing.
  207. 16:55Now, I have to tell you that from my perspective, I think President Trump ought to ignore all
  208. 17:00the naysayers who are accusing him of war crimes and accusing them of all this kind of, and I
  209. 17:06think he's going to ultimately need to drop the hammer on Iran and do it quickly and efficiently
  210. 17:12and just destroy this regime, just destroy them. Now, folks, I think that that's what the president
  211. 17:20is going to be forced to because I think that these, whoever is left of the regime,
  212. 17:26these people are confirmed fanatics. And I don't think they are ever going to have any
  213. 17:33rational negotiation that could lead to peace unless they're wiped out. And others who have a
  214. 17:43different attitude are brought in. So beyond that, I think the president is being measured.
  215. 17:53And I think that the president is being patient, maybe perhaps more patients than I would be at
  216. 17:57at the moment. But I think that's what it's ultimately going to take. And he will have
  217. 18:03to, at some point, he is going to have to deal with this because the high gas prices and the
  218. 18:09inflation beginning to creep back in because of high energy prices, because high energy
  219. 18:15prices, in addition to printing money, high energy prices, one of those things that will
  220. 18:19drive inflation for those who are not of stout mind as you and I may be or who lack the fortitude
  221. 18:33that we may have, I'll tell you, people can be fickle and people will drop off and say,
  222. 18:40well, you know, I thought I supported him, but because of this and now he's trying to,
  223. 18:46He's getting us into wars and all this.
  224. 18:48I mean, these people, I think it was Ben Franklin
  225. 18:51that said, foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds.
  226. 18:57In other words, all things aren't alike.
  227. 19:01Iran is not the Vietnam War.
  228. 19:04And Iran is not Iraq.
  229. 19:09This is a specific action for a specific purpose.
  230. 19:12And that purpose is noble.
  231. 19:16And that purpose is also essential to the survival, frankly,
  232. 19:21the United States of America, because again, folks,
  233. 19:24we had three airplanes bring our country
  234. 19:29to a standstill for a week.
  235. 19:31Imagine what a nuclear bomb would do.
  236. 19:35So I think the president is on the right track.
  237. 19:39I support him in what he's doing.
  238. 19:41And I'd say I'd probably be, perhaps even,
  239. 19:43and if it were me, I'd be perhaps even more aggressive
  240. 19:46because I have absolutely no trust, no confidence
  241. 19:51that these 12ers, these Shia Muslims,
  242. 19:56who believe in the coming of the 12th Makhti,
  243. 19:58who has been in hiding since about the ninth century.
  244. 20:02Yeah, he's immortal, he's been in hiding
  245. 20:04since about the ninth century,
  246. 20:06and he will be revealed in some sort of apocalyptic occurrence
  247. 20:09on the earth and will set up a Muslim kingdom in the world.
  248. 20:14in the world and by the way they even say you know Jesus will be there serving him
  249. 20:18too. I mean these people are so we need to be praying for the president praying
  250. 20:25for his wisdom. Okay I took more time on that than I expected to but you feel
  251. 20:29free to comment on that because obviously it's in the news. You all
  252. 20:32familiar with this guy Graham Cunningham Plattin who is running for US Senate in
  253. 20:35Maine. I have to say he's a Marine Corps veteran but it will look that they are
  254. 20:43Marines and their Marines. But this guy is, I don't know what his chances are, but he obviously
  255. 20:52has traction at the moment. And this guy has a Nazi tattoo on his chest. The Nazi tattoo
  256. 21:01is the Totonkof, which is the death's head that was worn by the SS. And the SS, of course,
  257. 21:07as you all know, was used by Hitler. They were the death squads. They were the people
  258. 21:12who were primarily involved in engineering, the mass murder, the genocide of the Jewish
  259. 21:20people, of every Jew in Germany, every Jew in Europe, every Jew in the world, if they could
  260. 21:24have gotten to that. And yet this guy is a confirmed leftist. And here's what I want to point out,
  261. 21:34when the left really doesn't want to hear that, Nazism and communism are not two different
  262. 21:43ideologies, they're the same ideology with two different
  263. 21:49iterations. Now folks, I'm not making this up. Now listen to me
  264. 21:55very closely. I'm not making this up. All fascism is is communism,
  265. 22:06which is a totalitarian system based upon control of everything
  266. 22:11and everybody with a dash of hyper nationalism added to it.
  267. 22:18that says, unlike the end result of communism,
  268. 22:23when it's only theoretical, but this is what they say,
  269. 22:25well, communism will result in no government being necessary,
  270. 22:28it will have a worldwide proletariat,
  271. 22:31and there won't be any borders and all that.
  272. 22:32So basically, communism purports to be a globalist ideology.
  273. 22:38Fascism purports to be a nationalist ideology,
  274. 22:42but it really ends up in the same place
  275. 22:44because the hyper-nationalism is that we, our country,
  276. 22:48should rule the world with an iron fist.
  277. 22:52They're two sides of the same coin.
  278. 22:56They just have a couple of different elements in them.
  279. 23:00You know, Hitler was a leftist.
  280. 23:01Hitler was a collectivist.
  281. 23:05Hitler started in the German Workers Party,
  282. 23:08which was a left-wing organization.
  283. 23:14You know, Naziism and communism,
  284. 23:17really the left is busy pointing the finger
  285. 23:19at you, me, President Trump, and anybody else
  286. 23:22who is conservative is Nazis.
  287. 23:24It is the left that is the source
  288. 23:26and the wellspring of Nazism and fascism.
  289. 23:31Now that's a fact.
  290. 23:34It's not a fact that most people know
  291. 23:36and it's not a fact that the left certainly wants to hear,
  292. 23:38but it is a fact.
  293. 23:43You know, the wellspring of conservatism
  294. 23:48goes out of classical economics
  295. 23:51and Judeo-Christian values,
  296. 23:53not not not seeism or any other far right ideology. Now that is also a fact. People who believe in
  297. 24:06individual liberty limited government. The importance of personal responsibility for one's own affairs,
  298. 24:16taking care of one's own family, pursuing one's own gifts and abilities. What is sometimes referred
  299. 24:24to, I don't know whether Adam Smith is the person who coined the phrase, but the classical
  300. 24:30capitalist economics enlightens self-interest.
  301. 24:32In other words, by doing what is good and best and right for myself, I ultimately help everyone
  302. 24:37else.
  303. 24:42So if I build a better mouse trap to catch mice in my own house, and that mouse trap helps
  304. 24:51your house and your neighbor's house, guess what?
  305. 24:54I've done something very good, not only for myself.
  306. 24:56done something very good for you too. You get the, it's a rudimentary example, but you get the point.
  307. 25:05And that's what freedom does. That's what freedom promotes. We're not associated with Nazism and far
  308. 25:16right-wing nonsense or racism or any of that. That's not part of classical free market, Judeo-Christian
  309. 25:25thinking and your day of Christian thinking and free market thinking are bound and they
  310. 25:30are hand in hand because both require an acceptance of each human beings right to own their own
  311. 25:44property, whether that property is real or personal, real and personal meaning real estate
  312. 25:51or it's other kinds of personal property or it's intellectual property that you have
  313. 25:57a right to derive the benefit from that which you own.
  314. 26:01And the government has no right to confiscate it or encroach upon it or control it.
  315. 26:09That's where our ideology springs from.
  316. 26:15There's springs from communism, Marxism, collectivism.
  317. 26:21That's why we're seeing so much violence because those ideologies, knowing that people will
  318. 26:26rebel against that kind of totalitarian control, those ideologies have violence built into them.
  319. 26:36You don't, violence is not built into the free market system because each person engaged in a
  320. 26:43transaction must be persuaded that this transaction is in his or her best interests, that you don't
  321. 26:50have to be forced into it at the point of a gun. You do it because you believe it's good for you
  322. 26:55and the other person does it because they believe it's good for them. But now, collectivism,
  323. 27:03communism, fascism, these ideologies, which are very, very all intertwined together, no,
  324. 27:09they believe in violence because they know people have to be forced to surrender the level
  325. 27:13of control that they must resurrender in order for fascism and communism to work. This guy
  326. 27:21is a Nazi because he's a leftist.
  327. 27:23And the two are, again, they are twins.
  328. 27:30I may not be identical twins, but they're certainly fraternal.
  329. 27:36And look, this violence, did you hear the yesterday?
  330. 27:40We had another shooting near the White House.
  331. 27:44I believe that a man was ultimately shot.
  332. 27:51All this violence erupting,
  333. 27:54And it's all coming from the left,
  334. 27:59because that's their stock in trade, folks.
  335. 28:02That's what, listen, socialism ends at the point of a gun.
  336. 28:12It might begin with the promise of utopia,
  337. 28:16but it ends at the point of a gun.
  338. 28:22You hear about this candidate
  339. 28:24who ran against Fetterman in Pennsylvania.
  340. 28:27He's been arrested for threats of violence,
  341. 28:31against the president and other officials.
  342. 28:34I mean, this guy was a legitimate candidate, of course,
  343. 28:37a Democrat, Raymond Eugene Chandler III.
  344. 28:44He's been arrested for threats of violence
  345. 28:49against the president of the United States and others.
  346. 28:54Because again, that's where they must ultimately go.
  347. 29:00Because human beings, for the most part,
  348. 29:02unless they are just so thoroughly indoctrinated
  349. 29:05that they surrender their own free will,
  350. 29:08human being, normal human beings,
  351. 29:11thinking normally, do not surrender their sovereignty,
  352. 29:15they do not surrender their freedom of will,
  353. 29:18their freedom of choice, they don't do it.
  354. 29:23And when you have an ideology that demands
  355. 29:25that an entire society surrender
  356. 29:28each person's individual liberty and freedom
  357. 29:32and choice and will to the state,
  358. 29:36you're going to inevitably have people who say no.
  359. 29:40And because this cult-like state that collectivism
  360. 29:45and communism and fascism produce cannot brook dissent,
  361. 29:51you ultimately have to kill the people who get in the way.
  362. 29:57Unlike those of us who are freedom loving,
  363. 30:01we believe in dissent.
  364. 30:02We may not always like the dissenters or what they're saying,
  365. 30:04but we believe in their right to dissent.
  366. 30:07Because we think that in the end,
  367. 30:09no matter how ridiculous they might be,
  368. 30:11That makes the society healthier.
  369. 30:13People get to debate, they get to discuss,
  370. 30:15they get to examine, to analyze, to think through issues.
  371. 30:20That's not what collectivism wants.
  372. 30:22Collectivism wants your blind obedience.
  373. 30:26They don't want you thinking, they want you obeying.
  374. 30:32And the violence is intended to intimidate you
  375. 30:34to do it or else.
  376. 30:40The other thing I mentioned is, I said yesterday,
  377. 30:43I am convinced, I said this on my own podcast,
  378. 30:46By the way, I have a podcast on American Family Radio.
  379. 30:49It will post tomorrow.
  380. 30:51It's called the Awakening Podcast,
  381. 30:53and you can get it on aFR.net.
  382. 30:55I also have my own podcast that airs every day at 8.30 AM
  383. 30:59Eastern time, and you can see that wherever podcasts may be
  384. 31:03seen.
  385. 31:06But this guy that was being held in the Fairfax Jail
  386. 31:12on a charge of raping a 13-year-old girl,
  387. 31:16and everybody was saying, ICE was saying,
  388. 31:18and others were saying, we hope the governor
  389. 31:20will not release this guy.
  390. 31:23We hope that the authorities in Fairfax County
  391. 31:26will not release this guy,
  392. 31:28but allow him to be turned over to ICE.
  393. 31:30He is an illegal alien.
  394. 31:31He is accused of a heinous crime, a violent crime.
  395. 31:36They released him.
  396. 31:40They released him.
  397. 31:41They put him back on the streets.
  398. 31:44Now thank God, ICE caught him.
  399. 31:46They arrested him.
  400. 31:47but not by the help of Virginia authorities
  401. 31:50or Fairfax County authorities.
  402. 31:52No, no, no, they don't cooperate with ICE.
  403. 31:54They cooperate with the accused rapist,
  404. 31:57but not with ICE because after all,
  405. 31:59the accused rapist is, I don't know,
  406. 32:01he's a future citizen, he's a future voter.
  407. 32:05We know these ICE people, they're terrible,
  408. 32:07they're criminals.
  409. 32:11You know, you have to hate the American people
  410. 32:16with a passion in order to continue to inflict upon them what the left in the demon-crat party
  411. 32:24are inflicting.
  412. 32:25This is Bishop E.W. Jackson in for Abraham Hamilton the 3rd.
  413. 32:28You're on the Hamilton the Corner, the numbers 888 589 880 40.
  414. 32:32I'll take your calls when we come back 888 589 884 0.
  415. 33:01As we watch world events unfold and fulfill scripture, it's hard to believe anyone could
  416. 33:06God and His Word are real, and yet there are so many who either question or
  417. 33:10completely refuse to believe it. The God who speaks is a 90-minute documentary
  418. 33:15that hits the doubt head-on with evidence that proves God is real and His Word is
  419. 33:20the ultimate authority. Watch it anytime and invite others to watch with you.
  420. 33:24Just visit stream.afa.net. That's stream.afa.net.
  421. 33:30Today's issues man on the street interview of one of the mom Donnie voters cut 16
  422. 33:37What's your favorite example of socialism that's worked?
  423. 33:41You go to spot I'm gonna have to go Cuba
  424. 33:45That choice
  425. 33:47That clip shows that there are people who have just as much of a right to vote as people who know what they're talking about
  426. 33:55Today's issues weekday mornings at 11 Eastern 10 Central on American family radio
  427. 34:01The Hamilton Quarter podcast and One-Bitted Common Terrets are available at AFR.net.
  428. 34:11Back to the Hamilton Quarter on American Family Radio.
  429. 34:17And we're back.
  430. 34:18I put a few issues on the table.
  431. 34:20Feel free to raise anything that you choose to raise.
  432. 34:23The number again is 888-589-8840.
  433. 34:28That's 888-589-8840.
  434. 34:32Jimmy Kimmel's at it again.
  435. 34:34He's recently made a joke about Rudy Giuliani.
  436. 34:37The man was some thought on his deathbed, but he seems to be recovering.
  437. 34:42Thank God we need to be praying for him.
  438. 34:45Great patriot.
  439. 34:46But apparently they just can't get over their obsession, not only with disagreeing with us,
  440. 34:54but wanting us dead.
  441. 34:57That's a pretty sad commentary, but they just can't seem to get past that.
  442. 35:02And that seems to be cannon fodder for their jokes and just basically the way they approach
  443. 35:09the world.
  444. 35:11You know, I always say the left really hates America and they really hate Americans, particularly
  445. 35:18those of us who are patriotic and love this country because they don't.
  446. 35:24They want an America that is remade in their image and the people who believe in the constitutional
  447. 35:31republic that our founding fathers gave us has been frankly said a republic if you can keep it.
  448. 35:37We are in their way. President Trump is in their way and they hate us. So New York tried this,
  449. 35:44Los Angeles is now trying it, but they want foreigners including illegal aliens to be able to vote
  450. 35:51legally. Now what does that tell you about what they think of American citizens? Because of course
  451. 35:57if foreigners and illegal aliens can vote, it dilutes your vote in mind. But that's because they
  452. 36:04don't even like Americans. They don't like, they don't like us. Not even the ones they're supposed
  453. 36:11to be serving who are fundamentally in agreement with them. They don't like us because they want
  454. 36:18people who they can bring in, who will be shaped by their views and want to help them fulfill their
  455. 36:27perverse vision for this nation. And they don't have enough Americans to do that.
  456. 36:35888-589840, let's go ahead and get to the calls. We've got Randall from Arkansas. Randall, welcome.
  457. 36:48Thank you, Bishop. I really appreciate you taking my call and I'm very concerned about the attacks
  458. 36:55on our country and our voting rights and everything, but I'm calling today about the
  459. 37:02attacks on the church and on Jesus. And I'm just wondering if you're familiar with this
  460. 37:11professor that just retired from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His name
  461. 37:18is Bart D. Ehrman and he holds himself up to be a New Testament scholar and he gets students
  462. 37:30in front of him and starts to undermine and make them question their faith. And he's done
  463. 37:37so much damage. I just wondered if you're familiar with him if you know about him on
  464. 37:44the East Coast.
  465. 37:45I know exactly who you're talking about.
  466. 37:48Thank you so much for the call, Randall.
  467. 37:50In fact, I think you might have been the last call yesterday
  468. 37:53and we didn't get a chance to get to your question,
  469. 37:55but I know exactly who you're talking about.
  470. 37:57There are many like him, by the way.
  471. 38:00And I encountered them when I was in seminary,
  472. 38:02when I went to Harvard Divinity School,
  473. 38:05I hadn't finished at Harvard Divinity School,
  474. 38:06but I did attend.
  475. 38:08And I encountered professors like this.
  476. 38:09Now, this particular professor that you are talking about,
  477. 38:13He is a self-proclaimed atheist and agnostic.
  478. 38:20He says he was a Christian, but he's now,
  479. 38:22he's since come to a better understanding,
  480. 38:25and he's no longer that.
  481. 38:26And he does not believe that Jesus Christ
  482. 38:28was God coming to flesh.
  483. 38:29He does not believe he's the savior of the world.
  484. 38:32He simply believes that Jesus Christ was a prophet
  485. 38:34of some kind.
  486. 38:36So this man is completely off the rails.
  487. 38:38And you are right, when people like this
  488. 38:41under a mantle of authority and the imprimatur
  489. 38:47of a major university, get kids in there
  490. 38:50and start telling them this garbage, they ruin people.
  491. 38:54Now I'll just give you all one quick antidote
  492. 38:56and then I'm gonna come right back to the anecdote
  493. 38:59and I'm gonna come right back to the lines.
  494. 39:01When I was at Harvard Divinity School,
  495. 39:02I had a professor of New Testament
  496. 39:05and he taught something I'll never forget.
  497. 39:08He said, some of you have heard that God
  498. 39:11is all powerful, God is all mighty and all that.
  499. 39:13He said, but that's not true.
  500. 39:15He said that that's easily provable
  501. 39:17by the experiences that people have.
  502. 39:18He said, and this was the analogy he gave me.
  503. 39:21Now I'm a new Christian, okay?
  504. 39:22I'm a brand new Christian pretty much.
  505. 39:25And he says, no, God is like a poor father
  506. 39:29who loves his children and wants to do anything
  507. 39:32he can for them, but he just doesn't have
  508. 39:35the resources to do it.
  509. 39:36And so he can't give that child a new pair of shoes
  510. 39:40much as he'd like to because he just doesn't have the ability. But the most important thing
  511. 39:44is that he loves those children in spite of the fact that he can't do much as much for
  512. 39:48them as he'd like to do. I mean, that's, that was his view of God. I later came to find out
  513. 39:55this professor was a homosexual. I didn't know that at the time. But these people are
  514. 39:59just their tools of the devil. And it's really just that plain and simple. And the best thing
  515. 40:04to do is just let Jesus be his own commentator and believe what the word of God says.
  516. 40:10says, and we've got to be unequivocal about denouncing this stuff whenever people are exposed to it.
  517. 40:15Thank you for the call, Randall. Let's go to Jeff in Missouri. Jeff, welcome.
  518. 40:21I'll get off and let you say what you think about them. First point is during Obama's term,
  519. 40:31I was speaking with a person from German, and they said, why are all the Americans so stupid?
  520. 40:35I said, oh, I don't know. They said, well, they're calling all the Republicans, Nazis,
  521. 40:40when uh... german not see is not national g
  522. 40:45socialist and hiller was a not see and so is obama
  523. 40:49that's a wild point number two
  524. 40:52what would they want trump to do wait until they destroyed four five new
  525. 40:56new for five american cities
  526. 40:58with the nukes are trying to get
  527. 41:00then all they would be all like all you let us friends all died and you didn't
  528. 41:03do anything so point being taken
  529. 41:05this company's realized no matter what he does
  530. 41:08Defending American will never be right with these people.
  531. 41:11Point number three is there's lots of,
  532. 41:17I see how can I say this,
  533. 41:19there's lots of people that if you are trying
  534. 41:23to help America, they hate you.
  535. 41:27And so there's a lot of people that I've talked to a lot
  536. 41:32and I've talked to them into being Republicans
  537. 41:34because I told them I said,
  538. 41:35Look, remember the night of the long knives when Hitler used the SS troops to get rid of
  539. 41:42the brown shirts that used to beat up all his hecklers before he got elected.
  540. 41:45All right, Jeff.
  541. 41:48Thank you, Jeff.
  542. 41:49Thank you.
  543. 41:50Listen, three great points.
  544. 41:52And what can I say?
  545. 41:53I agree with every single one of them.
  546. 41:55I think that Barack Obama is definitely a socialist.
  547. 42:00I don't think there's any doubt whatsoever about that.
  548. 42:03your points are very very well taken let's get right back to the calls let's go to
  549. 42:10Luke and i think that's Texas Luke welcome yes sir hey good evening sir good evening
  550. 42:19going back to the comments you were making earlier but
  551. 42:27the liberal media and our liberal lab always seem to find it okay to
  552. 42:34to make threats. I'm thinking the comedian who helped President Trump be
  553. 42:41headed, you know, holding his head up. You have Kathy Griffith. Yeah. Yeah.
  554. 42:4786 President Trump. You had a politician in Virginia who's taught said he dreamed
  555. 42:54about, you know, killing his opponents and, you know, peeing on their graves.
  556. 42:59jj jones i think of the one e one event um...
  557. 43:04while obama was president
  558. 43:06erodial clown put on a
  559. 43:09headmaster or do you want to call it
  560. 43:11of uh...
  561. 43:12obama
  562. 43:13and are
  563. 43:14media went ballistic you know that was so horrible and so
  564. 43:19terrible
  565. 43:20but it seems to be
  566. 43:23completely perfect to have
  567. 43:25threatening negative comments about
  568. 43:28conservative politicians are conservative people
  569. 43:32famous charlie kurt
  570. 43:34never
  571. 43:35never
  572. 43:36say anything or make a negative comment anyway against the left
  573. 43:41but that's my comment
  574. 43:43look uh... again you're you're talking about
  575. 43:46other
  576. 43:47bias of the media
  577. 43:49and again you wonder do they know that they're biased because they think they
  578. 43:53somehow sometimes act like
  579. 43:56They think they're somehow neutral, excuse me,
  580. 44:00and just reporting the facts.
  581. 44:03Thank you for the call, Luke.
  582. 44:04I was on a show with Victoria Jackson.
  583. 44:08You all may remember Victoria Jackson
  584. 44:10because she used to be on a Saturday Night Live.
  585. 44:14She got saved, got kicked off Saturday Night Live,
  586. 44:18ultimately, and started her own program.
  587. 44:19This was a 10, 15 years ago.
  588. 44:22I was on her program and we got to talk about Barack Obama.
  589. 44:25She said, well, you know, Barack Obama says he's a Christian.
  590. 44:27And I said, the idea, I said the claim
  591. 44:32that Barack Obama is a Christian, I said, is laughable.
  592. 44:36You would have thought that I had threatened the man
  593. 44:39with a hatchet.
  594. 44:40I'm serious.
  595. 44:41The media came after me.
  596. 44:43Who do you think you are questioning Barack Obama's faith?
  597. 44:47Now, these people don't even like Christianity.
  598. 44:49But suddenly, you know, and so you're right.
  599. 44:52even that was just
  600. 44:54i mean that was considered over the top of their he say such a thing well i'm
  601. 44:58absolutely right
  602. 45:00maybe there's absolutely no evidence what's so ever that barack obama is a
  603. 45:05christian
  604. 45:07uh... you know who we kidding
  605. 45:10eighty eight five eight nine eight eight four zero is the number
  606. 45:14let's go to
  607. 45:16kenith also in texas kenith welcome
  608. 45:20uh... good afternoon bishop on a i'm on a way through this and let you comment
  609. 45:23on it
  610. 45:24Number one is the War of Ezekiel 38 and 39, which I think is right around the corner.
  611. 45:34That is different from the War of the Battle of Armageddon.
  612. 45:40Is that correct?
  613. 45:41And if my reading of Ezekiel 38 and 39 is correct,
  614. 45:50Only God Himself will step in to save Israel, meaning we will not be there as Israel's ally.
  615. 46:02My theory is that we will either, one of two things or both, be too tied up in our own civil
  616. 46:10conflict, call it what you want, civil war, and or we will have lost the will to help Israel
  617. 46:20And considering that the growing evangelical movement getting away from Israel and into
  618. 46:33replacement theology, I think it's all together possible.
  619. 46:37I'll let you come in.
  620. 46:39Wow, Kenneth, thank you so much for the call.
  621. 46:41Well, look, I won't get into the details on the theology of Ezekiel 38 and 39, but I
  622. 46:47I think it's a general principle.
  623. 46:50I believe that when the Jews face their most ardent opponents
  624. 46:56at the very end of the age,
  625. 46:58the people who have come together to destroy them,
  626. 47:01we will not be there for them
  627. 47:02because the church will have been raptured.
  628. 47:04I think when the church age ends with the rapture,
  629. 47:07that is when the devil will turn all of his firepower
  630. 47:10on the Jewish people and they will be on their own
  631. 47:13except for the people who get saved
  632. 47:15during the great tribulation.
  633. 47:17And that's my reading of it.
  634. 47:18And of course, you know, I don't want to get off into that,
  635. 47:21that whole theological debate about the rapture
  636. 47:23and all of that.
  637. 47:24But yeah, that is my reading of it.
  638. 47:27I think as long as we're on earth,
  639. 47:29Bible believing Christians are going to continue to stand with
  640. 47:32and support Israel.
  641. 47:33888-588-988-4-0, I don't have a whole lot of time,
  642. 47:36but I could get one more call.
  643. 47:38And if somebody wants to be the stout person
  644. 47:41who can get your comments in quickly,
  645. 47:43But in the meantime, we've got stand up in Indiana, stand welcome.
  646. 47:52Come on, Bishop.
  647. 47:54I know I'm only that person should be the person that no matter what, even if
  648. 47:58this role in our land, I use those who else would be the better man than the
  649. 48:06first it because we get those Democrats and they're liable to take us out.
  650. 48:14I can hang out.
  651. 48:16When they're liable to take us out and hang us to drive us.
  652. 48:18They hate first and.
  653. 48:19Thank you so much for the call.
  654. 48:22I think you were breaking up a little bit there, but I appreciate the call.
  655. 48:25Look, folks, I said at the beginning of the program, I think President Trump is ultimately
  656. 48:32going to have to just annihilate this regime because I just don't think these people are
  657. 48:37rational.
  658. 48:38And I think you are absolutely right.
  659. 48:40A caller earlier said, I mean, what do people want?
  660. 48:43They want to wait until they've launched two or three nuclear weapons at us.
  661. 48:46And if anybody doubts that they will do that,
  662. 48:53I don't know what you're looking at.
  663. 48:55Because they've said it repeatedly.
  664. 48:58Jesus said out of the abundance of the heart,
  665. 49:00the mouth speaks, and they said repeatedly.
  666. 49:02America's the great Satan.
  667. 49:03America must be destroyed.
  668. 49:04Death to America.
  669. 49:05Death to America.
  670. 49:06I mean, they've chanted it over and over and over.
  671. 49:08Does anybody doubt that if they have the weapon
  672. 49:09they need to do that, they would use it?
  673. 49:11All right, well that's gonna do it for tonight,
  674. 49:12but look, I'll be back tomorrow.
  675. 49:14So in the meantime, you know what to do,
  676. 49:15stand up, step up, speak up, refuse to back up,
  677. 49:18because we cannot be defeated if we will not quit, because we are on God's side."
