  10. 0:28And now, the Hamilton Corner.
  11. 0:33Good evening, everybody.
  12. 0:34Welcome to the Hamilton Corner, Abraham Hamilton, the third.
  13. 0:37Here, joined by the Corner Contingent.
  14. 0:40I'm the host of the program joined by the Corner Contingent,
  15. 0:43right across from me, my man, 100 grand, Mr. Bobby,
  16. 0:46hoorah, rossah.
  17. 0:47And in the screening room, our friendly neighborhood,
  18. 0:49Woodaholic, perpetually in recovery.
  19. 0:52Mr. Marty Sparks, ladies and gentlemen, lighting up the dark.
  20. 0:55From there, we are ready to rock and roll with today's edition
  21. 0:59of the program so many things are happening good night
  22. 1:03just before coming on to the air
  23. 1:07california congressman eric swalwell announced his resignation
  24. 1:11from congress following
  25. 1:15allegations of
  26. 1:17sexual assault by former staffers of his in addition to it did other allegations
  27. 1:21of sexual misconduct
  28. 1:23which he denied
  29. 1:25but the resignation from congress follows his previous suspension of his
  30. 1:29gubernatorial
  31. 1:30campaign
  32. 1:31in the state of California, which opens the door for the possibility. Notice I didn't say
  33. 1:35likelihood, but for the possibility that California could end up with a Republican governor? Is that
  34. 1:41what I'm reading? Then you have the US imposed naval blockade of the Strait of Hermuz. You dig into
  35. 1:54the numbers a little bit, dig into the data. You want to talk about the potential for crushing
  36. 1:59Iranian regime, this move really, really could do it and it could have additional impact,
  37. 2:10primarily in getting the European NATO members out of minimum and other
  38. 2:16purported allies to take a different tact, I would say. Then on the home front,
  39. 2:25we have the meme, the picture, President Trump posts on True Social.
  40. 2:31I posted a little bit about this on social media earlier.
  41. 2:38I expressed my concern directly.
  42. 2:40I wasn't the only one.
  43. 2:41Lots of people did to the president,
  44. 2:42but interestingly enough, he took the post down.
  45. 2:49I still have concerns not about that exclusively,
  46. 2:52but about other things.
  47. 2:54And I believe all of it shows why God calls people
  48. 3:00to pray for leadership in our nation,
  49. 3:03but not only national leaders,
  50. 3:05but it includes national leaders.
  51. 3:07But before we get to all of that,
  52. 3:09right now at this very moment, many of you,
  53. 3:11if not most of you are making your transition
  54. 3:13from your part time jobs where you generate an income
  55. 3:16to your full time jobs where you cultivate an outcome.
  56. 3:18And as you do so, I want to remind you
  57. 3:20to do so with intentionality, understanding the primacy
  58. 3:26that God places on family and seeking
  59. 3:32to execute what he requires of us
  60. 3:35as an immediate, as an immediate engagement that follows from our worship of the Lord.
  61. 3:44We're going to get into the Word of God in a moment, but it is vitally important that we
  62. 3:54recognize that as John Adams said, that our constitutional republic is only as efficacy
  63. 4:02for religious and moral people.
  64. 4:04is, as he said, entirely inadequate to the governance of any other.
  65. 4:10What that reveals is a expectation that the Lord's bride would be actively engaged and effectively
  66. 4:18engaged in proclaiming the gospel and making disciples.
  67. 4:25To the word of God we go.
  68. 4:27Psalm 20, Psalm 20.
  69. 4:2920. When I focus on verses 5 through 7 in Psalm chapter 20, but I want to explain the context
  70. 4:40before we get into the actual text of this psalm. Psalm chapter 20 is a psalm written by David,
  71. 4:51but it follows the events that are recorded in 2 Samuel chapter 10. In 1 Chronicles chapter 19,
  72. 4:58They were both recounting the historical events of war when David led the Israelites
  73. 5:09in battle against a tandem of nations.
  74. 5:14Syria and the Ammon came against Israel.
  75. 5:19And as 2nd Samuel chapter 10 and 1st Chronicles chapter 19, I'll explain or should I say record,
  76. 5:28the Syrians had a military invention.
  77. 5:30They had chariots, and I've explained before,
  78. 5:34if you do a trajectory on military innovations over time,
  79. 5:39there were nations that, for example,
  80. 5:41had iron swords before others.
  81. 5:43You know, you had nations that developed
  82. 5:45charioteing capacities before others.
  83. 5:48And this was an instance where the Israelites
  84. 5:51were outgunned, so to speak.
  85. 5:55And particularly, 2nd Samuel chapter 10 verse 18
  86. 5:57records that Daniel, Daniel, David led the Israelites
  87. 6:01in successful battle and overcame 40,000 horsemen
  88. 6:07and 700 charioteers.
  89. 6:10And following those events, King David penned this song
  90. 6:15and that is where we get this text from.
  91. 6:16And some of us may be familiar with the text,
  92. 6:18but not as familiar with the events that precipitated
  93. 6:24or preceded the song being penned.
  94. 6:28As David is moved by the Spirit of God,
  95. 6:31He penned this Psalm and Psalm 20 verse 5.
  96. 6:33It says, may we shout for joy over your salvation.
  97. 6:38And in the name of our God set up our banners.
  98. 6:42May the Lord fulfill all your petitions.
  99. 6:47Now I know that the Lord saves his anointed.
  100. 6:51He will answer him from his holy heaven
  101. 6:53with the saving might of his right hand.
  102. 6:57Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
  103. 7:01but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.
  104. 7:08Now many of us might have heard this verse before
  105. 7:10and understand what it says on its face
  106. 7:12and offer a heartier men to that.
  107. 7:15But when you factor in the chronological reality
  108. 7:18of the events in 2 Samuel 10 and 1 Chronicles 19,
  109. 7:22where history records specifically,
  110. 7:25the Israelites being outgunned by a Syrian Ammonite alliance
  111. 7:30Alliance to where they specifically boasted of 700 charioteers and 40,000 horsemen.
  112. 7:40When you read that verse 7 when it says, some boast in chariots, David didn't just pick that up out of the thin air.
  113. 7:48He's reflecting on what he just experienced. Some boast in their 40,000 chariots.
  114. 7:54Others would boast in his 700-some-odd charioteers,
  115. 7:59but we will boast in the name of the Lord our God.
  116. 8:06We will boast in the name of the Lord our God.
  117. 8:11I'm saying that because it is inescapable
  118. 8:17that our nation has been on a trajectory of secularization.
  119. 8:25And we, and myself included in this,
  120. 8:33I am grateful to God that we have,
  121. 8:37what I've described on this radio station,
  122. 8:38on this network many times,
  123. 8:40as the greatest military in the world.
  124. 8:42We have that, we have that.
  125. 8:46I am grateful to God for that.
  126. 8:49And while I am grateful to God for that,
  127. 8:52I am also readily aware that military might
  128. 9:00is a false hope for salvation.
  129. 9:01It's a good to have,
  130. 9:03But if that is the anchor of your hope and your confidence,
  131. 9:07it's a false hope in our own, our own nation's history.
  132. 9:13We are rapidly approaching the 250th anniversary of our
  133. 9:19declaration of independence.
  134. 9:21It feels like 2026 is on a speeding and zealous time.
  135. 9:25We're already about the midpoint in April, guys.
  136. 9:30Mother's day is around the corner.
  137. 9:35Have we forgotten how our declaration of independence became a
  138. 9:41point of celebration. Have we forgotten how the preeminent military force in the world at
  139. 9:49the time was our nation's opponent? How in their mind this ragtag bunch of farmers and
  140. 9:57colonialists, they're no match for the massive red coat army. I've been reflecting upon and
  141. 10:11I shared the entire speech from Benjamin Franklin right here on this on this show from June 28,
  142. 10:17When he said, when we were constantly aware of the danger during our contest with Great
  143. 10:24Britain that hearing this, this Philadelphia, Pennsylvania State Hall room prayer was offered
  144. 10:31every day, every day.
  145. 10:37What I'm saying brothers and sisters, God's word is true.
  146. 10:41God, I'm not talking about any man.
  147. 10:43I'm not talking about Iran.
  148. 10:44I'm not talking about Russia.
  149. 10:46I'm not talking about communist China.
  150. 10:48I'm not talking about the BRICS nation.
  151. 10:50God opposes the proud.
  152. 10:52God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.
  153. 11:07I understand, you know, who President Trump is.
  154. 11:14I don't expect a 79-year-old man about to turn 80 years old to become someone other than
  155. 11:19who he is but for a radical transformation by the power of Jesus Christ.
  156. 11:31But our president has not served well if there's a bunch of yes men standing around him.
  157. 11:36And I'm not even expecting people to condemn him publicly.
  158. 11:39But when I'm talking about our president needs prayer, he needs prayer for godly biblical
  159. 11:45counselors.
  160. 11:46And I'm not even saying he's beyond displaying humility and even contrition in private because
  161. 11:59as already mentioned, as he heard the backlash on his true social post, he came out and said,
  162. 12:08yeah, I posted it.
  163. 12:09But yeah, I'm taking it down.
  164. 12:12And I didn't think that was reposting a blasphemous image and I'll get into the details.
  165. 12:16It was originally posted in February about somebody else and he reposted in a true social
  166. 12:20and all of that.
  167. 12:22But what I'm saying, and this, this applies to the president, this applies to business leaders,
  168. 12:29this applies to the pastors, this applies to men.
  169. 12:32You're not served by having a gaggle of yes men around you.
  170. 12:39I don't, I don't, I don't want to see anybody beefing with the president in public, trying
  171. 12:42to call him down and all of that.
  172. 12:44But he has to have somebody who can pull him aside in private and they say, listen, you
  173. 12:50could talk all, you know, do what you think.
  174. 12:52But when it comes to the Lord, you need to humble yourself, man.
  175. 12:57You need to humble yourself.
  176. 13:00When it comes to the things of the Lord, you need to humble yourself.
  177. 13:02And I'm going to explain when we get into the next segment, one of the biggest reasons why
  178. 13:07I tweeted or whatever post that President Trump is not merely for himself.
  179. 13:15But we're at a time where we have our service men and women engaged in Iran and the Bible
  180. 13:22is replete with examples at how leaders full of hubris end up affecting the service members.
  181. 13:34This is not a time where we can afford an obtuseness and a callousness to be present.
  182. 13:40This is why I'm saying among the things that we pray for our president, pray that he has
  183. 13:46Godly biblical men, men who can pull him to the side.
  184. 13:52And I pray that he would have a heart
  185. 13:55that is softened sufficiently
  186. 13:56and have humility sufficient to heed biblical counsel.
  187. 14:07Because this is not a game.
  188. 14:09This is not a game.
  189. 14:11The scripture best evidence over and over and over again.
  190. 14:14Goliath is an inhapeachable, unassailable force
  191. 14:17and ends up with a shepherd board downing him.
  192. 14:21You know, Jericho is a fortified city.
  193. 14:23The Lord's people, they just marching around the city.
  194. 14:26And then they blow a trumpet and the walls come down.
  195. 14:28Guys, listen, the word of God is true.
  196. 14:32The Bible bears it out, our own national history bears it out.
  197. 14:41Among the things we pray, may the Lord provide
  198. 14:45sound biblical council sound men
  199. 14:49who will tell him the truth
  200. 14:51and may the Lord give him appropriate humility
  201. 14:54as he serves our nation.
  202. 15:00A discipleship minute with Joseph Parker.
  203. 15:02The Word of God is the sword of the Spirit according to Ephesians 6 17.
  204. 15:06Every disciple of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ needs to be a diligent student of the Word of God.
  205. 15:12We would be wise to continually learn more about the spiritual weapons found in the Word of God.
  206. 15:17We must continually learn more about how to do battle with every spiritual weapon.
  207. 15:20Because spiritual conflict is not something we deal with from only time to time.
  208. 15:25We encounter spiritual warfare every day and everywhere we go.
  209. 15:29Put these spiritual weapons to work.
  210. 15:33We're building up the kingdom of God.
  211. 15:35Also, as we use these weapons,
  212. 15:37we're doing battle against the kingdom of darkness.
  213. 15:41Some people may think,
  214. 15:41I don't like the idea of having to deal
  215. 15:43with spiritual warfare.
  216. 15:45Well, like it or not, we face it every day of our lives.
  217. 15:48Let's be faithful to be kingdom warriors
  218. 15:50who know how to take some of the weapons we have
  219. 15:52in the word of God and use them to walk in victory daily.
  220. 16:05Shiving light into the darkness,
  221. 16:07This is the Hamilton Corner, an American family radio.
  222. 16:12Welcome back to the Hamilton Corner,
  223. 16:13Abraham Hamilton III here.
  224. 16:16A reminder, May 2nd, Saturday, May 2nd,

  226. 16:21Christian homeschool conference.
  227. 16:24To register for the conference,
  228. 16:26you simply go to entrusted homeschoolconference.org.
  229. 16:30It is a one day conference.
  230. 16:32We'll be there one day only.
  231. 16:34I will be there.
  232. 16:35Dr. Brian Ray will be there
  233. 16:37By God's grace, it is going to be a powerful time together.
  234. 16:41We're going to be addressing some Texas specific things.
  235. 16:43So if you're in the great state of Texas and you are a homeschool family or you're considering
  236. 16:50doing so, this will be a great conference for you.
  237. 16:53May 2nd in Waco, Texas, go to intrestedhomeschoolconference.org to register.
  238. 17:00Then two weeks later, we'll be in Lansing, Michigan at the inspirational networking conference
  239. 17:06for homeschoolers put on by the Michigan Christian Homeschool Network, also known as
  240. 17:12Mission, M-I-C-H-N. It will be a three-day conference there May 14th through the 16th.
  241. 17:18I will be doing a couple keynotes, breakout sessions. My wife will be doing a breakout session
  242. 17:25for moms. Again, this is for those who are currently engaged in the commitment to disciple
  243. 17:32our children from the home, as well as those who are considering.
  244. 17:36They'll be both informational and informative and encouraging to register for this conference.
  245. 17:41You go to michn.org.
  246. 17:45You do have to register.
  247. 17:46This will be in Lansing, Michigan, May 14th through the 16th.
  248. 17:51We'll have links to both sites in the show notes for today's program, looking forward
  249. 17:58to seeing everyone there.
  250. 18:01Right.
  251. 18:02First of all, I'm not going to post the image.
  252. 18:05I'm not going to display the image on today's show because frankly, the image that President
  253. 18:13Trump posted on True Social is blasphemous, in my opinion, I have full stop.
  254. 18:20Because he has come out and took responsibility for posting it and he also took it down, I'm
  255. 18:27I'm not going to hammer him on that in an extensive fashion, but it does reveal something
  256. 18:36that is a bit concerning.
  257. 18:37Now I alluded to this, the reality is that the image, you know what President Trump, some
  258. 18:44said, he gave an indication that he was presenting himself as Jesus.
  259. 18:49Frankly, I do think he's attempting to offer some type of messianic display, but the image
  260. 18:55was originally posted back in February by a social media personality by the name of Nick
  261. 19:00Adams.
  262. 19:01All right.
  263. 19:04President Trump reposted it himself last night on True Social.
  264. 19:09And I thought it was concerning not only because of the image, but because of what it followed.
  265. 19:14Now some of you might have seen this and I'm not going to play this either because it is
  266. 19:18exceedingly troubling to me.
  267. 19:24during the Passion Week and the lead up to Resurrection Sunday.
  268. 19:30The President, I guess he calls it a spiritual advisor, this woman
  269. 19:34masquerading as a pastor named Paula White. You might have heard
  270. 19:37of her. She was sharing basically about the Resurrection
  271. 19:43story. She kept pausing during the Resurrection story, saying
  272. 19:48when she was saying things that happened to Jesus that's in the
  273. 19:50scripture, she would then turn to President Trump and say, and
  274. 19:53Yes, and this happened to you too.
  275. 19:56I was like, what?
  276. 20:00And then she go a little further saying, yes.
  277. 20:02And this happened to you too.
  278. 20:04And I remember when I heard that saying,
  279. 20:05man, Trump ain't Jesus, man.
  280. 20:08President Trump is not my Messiah.
  281. 20:11What is going on here?
  282. 20:14And so that bothered me greatly, greatly.
  283. 20:18And frankly, I was, as a result,
  284. 20:22I was doing what I'm encouraging you to do
  285. 20:24instead of making it a show topic or anything.
  286. 20:26Man, I just spent time praying for the president
  287. 20:29praying for what I just encourage you to do for Godly men to stand up around him.
  288. 20:36And you know, you had other pastors on that platform and they're just nodding and clapping.
  289. 20:40And I'm just saying, man, this is not helpful.
  290. 20:43This is not helping him to understand.
  291. 20:46This is not, I absolutely appreciate President Trump wanting to honor our Lord's resurrection
  292. 20:53from his White House platform, which is a great contrast from Mr. Ice-free Man having
  293. 21:00confused trans vestights on the White House lawn and all kinds of various stages of lack
  294. 21:12of clothing for a quote unquote, trans day of visibility.
  295. 21:16And I'm sure that was all a coincidence that on Resurrection Sunday, you got these people
  296. 21:20talking about a trans day of visibility.
  297. 21:22Come on, man.
  298. 21:23But I'm saying, man, that President Trump is not, is not the Messiah.
  299. 21:29Stop it.
  300. 21:30it. Like one of the greatest features of our society is the freedom to speak and you're
  301. 21:39not served well. If you can't have anybody who will say, Hey, listen, I know this, which
  302. 21:43you want to do, that's not a good idea. And I know the public persona president Trump
  303. 21:50has, but I don't, I don't believe he's beyond being able to be reasoned with completely.
  304. 21:56Now I know, Reverend Meister Road, he's going to do what he wants to do. But I have seen
  305. 22:01instances to where, you know, when the attention is brought to a certain point, he'll make an
  306. 22:06adjustment like him taking down the picture today.
  307. 22:11He took it down because he heard the noise that people were making about it.
  308. 22:15That's why he took it down.
  309. 22:17He could have bristled and said, no, I'm just going to keep it up.
  310. 22:22But the thing that's concerning to me is how you're not aware that you shouldn't be accepting
  311. 22:31analogies made to yourself and Jesus.
  312. 22:36you're not aware that you shouldn't be posting profane profanity laced things first thing in
  313. 22:41the morning on Res Wrecks and Sunday.
  314. 22:44How are you not aware that art displaying you as a messianic figure is something that
  315. 22:50you probably shouldn't do in all of it, all of it gives an indication of an outward facing
  316. 23:01hubris.
  317. 23:02Now again, I don't expect a 79 year old man to become somebody else overnight that he hasn't
  318. 23:06been without a cataclysmic renewal by Jesus Christ.
  319. 23:13So I'm not surprised that President Trump has this outside's personality, you know what
  320. 23:18I'm saying?
  321. 23:19But there has to be some limits.
  322. 23:20And the bottom line is when you approach a hubris to where you're willing to be associated
  323. 23:25with Messiah and at the exact same time, we have American soldiers in harm's way, that's
  324. 23:35concerning man.
  325. 23:38So the point in all of this is really, from my perspective, is exactly what I said at the
  326. 23:44very beginning.
  327. 23:51There must be some strong men that are able to pull him to the side.
  328. 24:00And I understand his whole fascination with this false, I don't even know what to call
  329. 24:11her, this masquerading pastrix, this prosperity, it can't call it a gospel, this prosperity
  330. 24:18preacher is not a gospel and he likes her personally.
  331. 24:26And he knew her before he ran for president.
  332. 24:28And he has this thing about people who are loyal to him and all that kind of stuff.
  333. 24:32But he needs to understand that when it comes to God's holy word, man, God, God is not mocked.
  334. 24:39And it has to be someone that's willing to stand flat for to tell him that.
  335. 24:45Now, again, I'm encouraged by the fact that he took the picture down.
  336. 24:54But things are too hot in our country to be playing in these kind of ways.
  337. 24:59I'll likely say a lot more about this.
  338. 25:02And because having a presentation of himself as if he's Messiah, that's blasphemous, man.
  339. 25:08Straight up.
  340. 25:09Straight up.
  341. 25:10That's blasphemous.
  342. 25:16And it's almost like when the situation when other occurred, and some people don't realize
  343. 25:22this.
  344. 25:23When you read the account in Samuel, but pair it with first chronicles.
  345. 25:30One of the reasons why the other affair happened is because David and his excitement to restore
  346. 25:34the Ark and to covenant to Jerusalem, he had not sought the Lord according to how the
  347. 25:38Ark was to be handled.
  348. 25:40And they were Levites, and the first chronicles explains that there were Levites who David
  349. 25:44consulted and they did not give him the advice he required.
  350. 25:48They didn't convey to him, David, listen, Yahweh has required the Ark to be handled by the
  351. 25:52Levites only carried on the shoulders of the priests on poles.
  352. 25:58And I see this in a similar fashion.
  353. 26:00I see this in a similar fashion.
  354. 26:08I'll leave that there for now.
  355. 26:12All right, moving on.
  356. 26:15Following the announcements,
  357. 26:17and I'm just gonna say this plainly,
  358. 26:20I think diplomacy is something that should be pursued.
  359. 26:26I am of the ilk that we have a lot of problems
  360. 26:30in our own nation that need attention.
  361. 26:33I would like for the corruption and things
  362. 26:38has been indicated and exposed in our own country to be investigated and exposed to the depth,
  363. 26:46I think, the criminality of the Obama administration and President Obama himself undermining President
  364. 26:52Trump's first term, all of the things that Tulsi Gabbard exposed.
  365. 26:56I think those things require due attention.
  366. 26:59I think the schmovit hopes people who drove our nation to the brink need to be held accountable.
  367. 27:11And now that Operation Epic Fury is underway, we, the United States of America, can't afford
  368. 27:21to fail there.
  369. 27:24So when you have the effort to have diplomatic liaisons with foreign nations, I wanted to
  370. 27:33think I'm concerned about, and I don't believe that they're entirely ignorant.
  371. 27:36I think President Trump is exceedingly confident in his ability to get a deal done, you know,
  372. 27:40the consummate deal maker and whatnot.
  373. 27:42But I don't think he's used to dealing with murderous, sycophantic, twelfth imam, Shiite
  374. 27:49Muslims.
  375. 27:52So when you think where shortly, you know, when, for example, when you had the Cold War
  376. 27:57between the United States and Russia, you know, the Russians were Marxists, but they didn't
  377. 28:01have death wishes.
  378. 28:03So the phenomenon of mutually assured destruction had a little bit of gravity upon the Red Commies.
  379. 28:11But how do you negotiate with people who believe they supposed to bathe the world in
  380. 28:15blood?
  381. 28:16when you know you're negotiating with.
  382. 28:18And so the president tried to negotiate with again
  383. 28:23the representatives for these 12ers in Iran.
  384. 28:26And he said, we made progress on everything
  385. 28:27but the nuclear weapons.
  386. 28:28I'm like, yeah, you don't say, you don't say
  387. 28:32that the people who want to bathe the world in blood
  388. 28:35so they can call it 12th e-mom out of the cave
  389. 28:38and force the entire world to submit to Islam
  390. 28:43that they don't want to lose their ability
  391. 28:45to try to bathe the world in blood.
  392. 28:47You don't say.
  393. 28:49And so in response to president announces that there's a U.S. imposed naval blockade on
  394. 29:01the straight of our moves now. Listen to and watch this brief report on it's clip number
  395. 29:07six, clip six, go.
  396. 29:10A deal for peace. President Donald Trump has ordered the U.S. Navy to begin blockading
  397. 29:15Iranian port traffic.
  398. 29:16It would be a considerable operation requiring a lot of surveillance as well as of course
  399. 29:22the physical presence of several destroyers and probably an aircraft carrier, maybe two.
  400. 29:28In a post on truth, social president Donald Trump touted the defeat of the Iranian Navy,
  401. 29:33but warned that any fast attack ships that come close to the blockade would be immediately
  402. 29:38eliminated.
  403. 29:39Unfortunately, the mentality of the leadership in Iran is hardening.
  404. 29:44Iran's acting defense minister said the country is preparing for any scenario and any aggression
  405. 29:50would result in a harsh and decisive response according to remarks broadcast on Iran's
  406. 29:55state run television.
  407. 29:58Now, a bit of a fact that what happened and you heard the allusion to the fact that the
  408. 30:04Iranians are hardening, like based on what?
  409. 30:06I mean, it's the ideology.
  410. 30:07That's what I'm saying.
  411. 30:08It's the ideology that's leading them to their posture because following the announcement
  412. 30:16of the supposed seat, not supposed to, but the ceasefire, the Iranians were allowing their
  413. 30:23their allies and their friends through the Strait of Hormuz and charging everybody else
  414. 30:26attacks.
  415. 30:28And guess what the tax is when you have an Islamic regime and the full citizens of your
  416. 30:35regime are Muslims and their friends.
  417. 30:39And guess who everybody else is?
  418. 30:41Demis.
  419. 30:42And guess what demis play?
  420. 30:43Guess what demis pay?
  421. 30:44They pay the jizya tax.
  422. 30:46Huh.
  423. 30:47Kind of like, oh, if we control, meaning the 12ers, if we control the strait, we'll let
  424. 30:53you come through for a jizya to which president Trump has now, and I'm going to have to carry
  425. 31:00this over to the next segment, to which president Trump has described this maritime behavior
  426. 31:05as quote, world extortion. And he warned that any vessel paying a quote, illegal toll to Iran
  427. 31:14will be denied safe passage. Our military will will finish up the little that is left of
  428. 31:19Iran in quote. And by the way, the naval blockade went into effect this morning at
  429. 31:24at 10 a.m. Eastern time, went into effect.
  430. 31:28Now this is a strategically sound move for several reasons.
  431. 31:33First, you notice that it's happened after
  432. 31:35the United States of America, we really don't need any
  433. 31:40oil or gas that would come through the straighter her moves.
  434. 31:42The majority of what is used there, of course,
  435. 31:45a whole lot of it was going to Iran.
  436. 31:46I mean, going to China, a whole lot of it was going to China.
  437. 31:50But the European nations are the ones who need that the most.
  438. 31:53So President Trump at once has the wherewithal to say you guys,
  439. 31:57especially many of you that were, you know,
  440. 32:01I just said this way, critical.
  441. 32:02Y'all are the ones who need this more than us.
  442. 32:06Then in addition to that,
  443. 32:08and I'm gonna get into some of the data here,
  444. 32:12but according to the foundation for defensive democracies,
  445. 32:17the economic consequences for Tehran will literally be
  446. 32:21absolute, this is the terminology, absolute.
  447. 32:25According to the Foundation for Defense of Democracies,
  448. 32:28that this naval blockade will inflict anywhere
  449. 32:30between 243, I'm sorry, $235 million
  450. 32:36of combined economic damage against the Iranian regime
  451. 32:40every single day.
  452. 32:45You know what I'm telling you?
  453. 32:46$200 million to $435 million every single day.
  454. 32:52That approach is a staggering $13 billion per month.
  455. 33:00conflict with your spouse seems
  456. 33:02overwhelming and you feel ready to
  457. 33:04quit. Your marriage may be under
  458. 33:06spiritual attack. Next time on Focus on

  474. 34:04Hamilton Quarter podcast and one-minute commentaries are available at aFR.net back to the Hamilton
  475. 34:11Quarter on American Family Radio.
  476. 34:14Welcome back to the Hamilton Corner, Abraham Hamilton III here, getting back to the data
  477. 34:18from the Foundation for Defense of Democracy.
  478. 34:21According to the FDD, over 90 percent of Iran's $109.7 billion in annual trade, in annual trade
  479. 34:29transits the Persian Gulf with oil and gas accounting for 80% of government export earnings. All
  480. 34:38right. And 23.7% of Iran's national GDP, but the closure of the straight zeros out overnight,
  481. 34:49overnight, like lights on lights off, grand opening, grand closing, you know,
  482. 34:57So, the F.D.D. continues in painting a grim picture for Iran's energy infrastructure in
  483. 35:05light of the Naval blockade because Carg Island, which has been in the news quite a bit lately,
  484. 35:10which handles 92% of the country's crude exports, generates between $53 billion and $78 billion
  485. 35:15in annual revenue.
  486. 35:17Under the blockade, the $1.5 million, sorry, the $1.5 million barrels per day that Iran was
  487. 35:25exporting which is valued at $139 million daily at wartime prices will cease entirely, entirely.
  488. 35:38Furthermore, the petrochemical sector which saw $19.7 billion in exports over a nine month period of
  489. 35:44time between 2024 and 2025 faces a daily loss of $54 billion. Now that's on top of the daily loss
  490. 35:52of $235 million for the oil. This is for the petrochemical on the petrochemical side.
  491. 35:58And then Iran's non-oil exports, including minerals and metals, will lose an additional
  492. 36:06$79 million per day because that was going through the strait as well.
  493. 36:11Alright?
  494. 36:12So this blockade that President Trump announced that started this morning, this blockade targets
  495. 36:19the heart of Iranian logistics.
  496. 36:25The Shahid Rajjahid port handles 53% of all cargo operations while the Imam Khomeini ports
  497. 36:31handles 58% of all basic goods, imports.
  498. 36:37All right.
  499. 36:40And as it stands, Iran's efforts to bypass the port
  500. 36:44to date are negligible.
  501. 36:46Now, Bobby and I was talking about this during the break.
  502. 36:49Surely they thought about this,
  503. 36:51that this could happen at some point.
  504. 36:54But according to the information we have currently,
  505. 36:56their capacity to make that operational immediately
  506. 36:59is not readily available to them.
  507. 37:01All right.
  508. 37:05The internal impact of this blockade on Iran is expected to be catastrophic because here's
  509. 37:13some things that are already happening in Iran that some people may not be aware of currently.
  510. 37:18Food inflation has hit 105% as of February 2026 and rice prices in Iran are up sevenfold.
  511. 37:26With the loss of $150 million, $159 million in daily imports that will accelerate total currency
  512. 37:34collapse in Iran. Some of these factors were already happening before the naval blockade.
  513. 37:43So the naval blockade is expected to amplify this domestic strain within Iran to kind of
  514. 37:50make this plane, what I'm talking about and I hope I'm pronouncing this right, the reality
  515. 37:54of the local currency in Iran has already plummeted to the place to where it takes one, hear me
  516. 38:00Well guys, it takes 1.5 million reels to equal the value of one US dollar.
  517. 38:07Do y'all under here what I'm telling you?
  518. 38:10Right now, it takes one and a half million reels to equal one US dollar, which has forced
  519. 38:20the regime to issue a 10 million real bank note.
  520. 38:26A 10 million real bank note is worth seven US dollars.
  521. 38:33Do you guys remember when a Venezuelaans would have barrels of the Venezuelan currency, but
  522. 38:39they weren't trying to shop with it.
  523. 38:40They were burning it for fuel to cook with because the currency had completely collapsed.
  524. 38:46Remember in Greece and not too long ago, where you had all of the local Greece current Greek
  525. 38:51currency that you had will barrels filled with it?
  526. 38:56People were using it for toilet paper and things of that nature.
  527. 38:58Guys, this is what we're talking about.
  528. 39:02This is what we're talking about.
  529. 39:05Here's the additional component.
  530. 39:06In the bobby, this is the part you and I were talking about during the break.
  531. 39:10The FDD also points to a storage clock because Iran has roughly 20 million barrels of spare
  532. 39:18on-shore storage capacity currently.
  533. 39:22At current production levels, this storage capacity will be full in 13 days.
  534. 39:28So they have it all stored, but they can't ship it anywhere.
  535. 39:32full once the 20 million barrel storage capacity is filled, I ran what have to shut
  536. 39:38its wells off.
  537. 39:40Now I'm not a land man, nor do I plan to show the air is on CBS and Paramount plus.
  538. 39:48But in reading about this, I've learned that when you have wells, oil wells pumping, you
  539. 39:54don't want to shut them down.
  540. 39:57You don't want to shut them down because shutting the wells down creates the opportunity for
  541. 40:04what it's called water coning in the oil wells.
  542. 40:10Water coning in the oil wells has the capacity
  543. 40:15to permanently destroy 300,000 to 500,000 barrels per day
  544. 40:20of production capacity.
  545. 40:22Did you hear what I said?
  546. 40:23Permanently destroy.
  547. 40:25This will result in a permanent loss of nine to $15 billion
  548. 40:31in annual revenue, even if the blockade eventually ends.
  549. 40:36So I'm explaining all of this to show that this, this, this is not merely a immediate military
  550. 40:52maneuver. This is the product of, you know, consideration, thoughtfulness, things of that nature.
  551. 40:58And this, this really has a capacity to bring the Iranian regime to heal only because they
  552. 41:04they won't have any more resources. And obviously the longer the broke block
  553. 41:09pocket goes, the more protracted this, this impact is on our randomestically. Then
  554. 41:16here's the other side of it. Just this morning, I saw how nations all around the
  555. 41:21world are rerouting tankers away from the Strait of Hark or moves and somebody
  556. 41:25taking a long trip around the Horn of Africa to get their oil and petroleum
  557. 41:30products disseminated. But also for those who were purchasing their oil there,
  558. 41:36You don't think they're gonna start saying,
  559. 41:40well maybe we need to buy some of that good old USFA product
  560. 41:46that we just so happened to have a little Venezuelan support for.
  561. 41:55This is, that's a pretty sound strategic move.
  562. 42:02And it's also interesting that to date,
  563. 42:04now while I'm on the air, something could have changed.
  564. 42:06But since the blockade went into effect this morning,
  565. 42:10I have not seen any reports of any fireworks popped off by the Iranians, which I find to
  566. 42:17be very, very telling, very, very telling.
  567. 42:21All right.
  568. 42:26I'm going to move on.
  569. 42:29I alluded to this earlier.
  570. 42:30This is, you know, the news I had before walking into the studio was that Eric Swalwell
  571. 42:37had only suspended his gubernatorial campaign.
  572. 42:41You know, he's a congressman and I don't understand how people in California, but he is from the
  573. 42:46San Francisco area, I guess that answers my question.
  574. 42:49But I don't see how they send fame back to DC, I don't see how they do it.
  575. 42:54But they did.
  576. 42:55And so Swalwell was so encouraged by his political capacity, he said, well, I'll be the successor
  577. 43:02to Gavinito Newcilini in the Golden State.
  578. 43:06Well, again, prior to coming into the studio, he'd announced the suspension of his gubernatorial
  579. 43:13campaign following the release two days prior. So this would have been Saturday, Saturday of
  580. 43:26several women who used to work for him and then some women who did not work for him,
  581. 43:31the women who used to work for him accused him of sexual assault and some who did not
  582. 43:37work for him accused him of sexual misconduct. Now the thing, and I can't help but think
  583. 43:43about this because I'm a husband and a father, Eric Swalwell is married and he has three
  584. 43:46children. And so following the story posted in the San Francisco Chronicle about that
  585. 43:55Swawlle announced his suspension of his gubernatorial campaign. Well, then immediately the Democratic
  586. 44:06political elite had all at once descended on Swawlle, rescinding endorsements and began
  587. 44:13calling on him to resign from Congress. And just before coming on the air this evening,
  588. 44:18Swalwell announces resignation from Congress.
  589. 44:21But here's a brief report on the Swalwell saga, the most recent iteration of it.
  590. 44:30Listen to and watch clip number five, clip five.
  591. 44:33Go.
  592. 44:34Democratic Congressman Eric Swalwell is suspending his bid for California governors.
  593. 44:38He faces allegations of sexual assault.
  594. 44:40Top Democrats also pulled their support.
  595. 44:43This all came after allegations from a former staffer were published in the San Francisco
  596. 44:47Chronicle on Friday.
  597. 44:50Since then, other accusations have surfaced, including one under investigation by New York
  598. 44:54City prosecutors.
  599. 44:56In a video posted to ex Swalwell denied the claims and called them politically motivated,
  600. 45:02though he expressed regret for past mistakes regarding his family.
  601. 45:07These allegations of sexual assault are flat, false.
  602. 45:10They're absolutely false.
  603. 45:12They did not happen.
  604. 45:13They have never happened.
  605. 45:14And I will fight them with everything that I have.
  606. 45:17I do not suggest to you in any way that I'm perfect or that I'm a saint.
  607. 45:21I've certainly made mistakes and judgment in my past."
  608. 45:27You know what's interesting about that?
  609. 45:28And he knows this because Eric Swalwell was a prosecutor before he ran for Congress.
  610. 45:33His, what he said, he's denying the criminal aspects of sexual assault.
  611. 45:40He ain't denying that he was involved in adulterous, in the adulterous affairs.
  612. 45:48And that report said a staffer, it was several staffers.
  613. 45:51And they came out differently one at a time, so it was like that.
  614. 45:56But this is the thing, man, as a former prosecutor, whenever I, whenever I, I'll share from my
  615. 46:01own experience, whenever I pert prosecuted sexual assault cases, the defense always would
  616. 46:09be, no, it was consensual all the time, all the time.
  617. 46:15In Swalwell, as a prosecutor, a former prosecutor, he knows.
  618. 46:18I don't know what level of prosecution he did, but if he prosecuted a major felony, he would
  619. 46:23know that.
  620. 46:25But I just can't help but thinking, and I know about all of the politics, but I'm thinking
  621. 46:30about his children, man, his children.
  622. 46:36And I do think Swalwell is another example of what the Bible says about pride coming before
  623. 46:40the fall.
  624. 46:48He gets to Congress and he ends up having this relationship with Fang Fang, you know, for
  625. 46:57those who are not familiar with that, she was a Chinese spy.
  626. 47:00And she used sexual prowess to get access into the upper echelons of American government.
  627. 47:08And when she got exposed, what did she do?
  628. 47:10She high-tails her on a flight back to China.
  629. 47:12That's literally what happened.
  630. 47:14Literally what happened.
  631. 47:16But the folks in San Francisco couldn't be bothered by it, I guess, and they kept re-electing
  632. 47:21the Swell Wilson in the back to DZ.
  633. 47:25He apparently thinking, man, hey, nothing can touch me.
  634. 47:31So he continues on and, you know, is sad and I don't want to go into the details and I'm
  635. 47:37not going to try to, you know, drag, you know, the, the, the, the, the alleged victims
  636. 47:44and all of that.
  637. 47:46But he tended to have a particular type.
  638. 47:49Young women in their early twenties.
  639. 47:53of them attempting to gain his favor for, you know, access.
  640. 48:01And then this happens.
  641. 48:02And then it's so funny.
  642. 48:03He said, this is all, this is a political hit.
  643. 48:06It might be.
  644. 48:11It very well might be.
  645. 48:12It might be a political hit.
  646. 48:14But you know what's not a political hit?
  647. 48:16You admitted to do something with these women.
  648. 48:18The facts are not a political hit.
  649. 48:22The facts are not.
  650. 48:27And so he was, you know, I categorically denied a whole drill.
  651. 48:32I have to say this because I'm on the air.
  652. 48:35Swalwell denies the criminal allegations against him.
  653. 48:40Here, what I said, he denies the criminal allegations.
  654. 48:43He doesn't deny it.
  655. 48:44It was with the women.
  656. 48:46He was quite clear in saying that what I did with those women
  657. 48:50was consensual.
  658. 48:56And so now he's resigned from Congress.
  659. 49:03And he's just one person.
  660. 49:05You know, we could talk about the insider trading in Congress.
  661. 49:07He refers to it as a DC swamp.
  662. 49:09But this is yet again another example of the reality of these are the kinds of people that
  663. 49:17are being sent to Congress to conduct the people's business.
  664. 49:22Guys, our nation is in desperate need of repentance, man.
  665. 49:29It's in desperate need for repentance.
  666. 49:33Let us cry out to the Lord and obey what he commands.
