  1. 0:02In Matthew 22, 37 through 40, Jesus said,
  2. 0:06love the Lord your God with all your heart
  3. 0:08and with all your soul and all your mind.
  4. 0:10This is the first and greatest commandment.
  5. 0:13And the second is like it.
  6. 0:14Love your neighbor as yourself.
  7. 0:16All the law and the prophets hang on these two commandments.
  8. 0:19Love God your love, too.

  13. 1:01Good evening everyone. Welcome to the Hamilton Corner, the spring,
  14. 1:062026 Shareathon edition of the program.
  15. 1:10My name is Abraham Hamilton the third.
  16. 1:12I am joined by the corner contingent right across from me,
  17. 1:15Up on my man, a hundred grand Mr. Bobby.
  18. 1:17Stirrr, ozein, his Shamathon Best
  19. 1:21that he's wearin' in the screening room,
  20. 1:23produce extraordinaire, often imitated,
  21. 1:25never duplicated the real JMac.
  22. 1:28Ladies and gentlemen, we are ready to rock
  23. 1:29and roll with today's edition of the program.
  24. 1:32Just to help you position yourself for the show,
  25. 1:36the number to call to make your pledge is 877616
  26. 1:37your pledge is 877-616-239-6. That number again is 877-616-2396 or you can
  27. 1:48get securely online by going to aFR.net that is aFR.net
  28. 1:55share-thon for those who may be new to the American Family Radio Network is the
  29. 2:01time that we take three days in the spring, three days in the fall to where
  30. 2:06we appeal to you, the listener directly, to support the work of the ministry here materially
  31. 2:13and financially for those who are able to give, for those who are unable to give at the moment,
  32. 2:18we ask you, we covet your prayers for the work of God in our nation generally and specifically
  33. 2:24for the work that God is doing through American Family Radio because we believe God has established
  34. 2:29this ministry for this moment that would darkness, swelling all around us on many different
  35. 2:35fronts, that one of the sources that God has used to convey his truth to a dying
  36. 2:41world has been this ministry. And so we make that appear to you, it enables us to
  37. 2:45be completely free from being dependent upon external sources that would seek to
  38. 2:50lean on you, to change the content that you offer due to the financial strings that
  39. 2:56are attached. We have no allegiances or loyalties other than Jesus Christ.
  40. 3:02First and foremost, his holy word and to you, our supporters and listeners, there's nothing
  41. 3:08in between that.
  42. 3:09So the number to call again is 877-616-2396 or you can get securely online at EFR.net.
  43. 3:18This is the show that we remind you daily as you're making your transition from your part
  44. 3:22time jobs where you generate an income to your full time jobs where you cultivate an outcome.
  45. 3:27I want to remind you that what goes on in your house is far more important than what
  46. 3:31goes on in the White House. It's not because the things in the White House are
  47. 3:35unimportant. It's not because we cannot influence or impact the White House at
  48. 3:39all, but we are not directly involved in what transpires at the White House,
  49. 3:43where we whereas in our homes, we are directly involved and engaged. And so I say
  50. 3:51what goes on in your house is far more important than what goes on in the White
  51. 3:54House because you and I have a mandate and a responsibility to execute our King's
  52. 3:58commission starting first in our homes.
  53. 4:02Every show that we start, Sharethon included, we turn to God's holy word because we cannot
  54. 4:07engage in the world around us effectively nor sufficiently if we try to do so by putting
  55. 4:13our Bibles on the shelves.
  56. 4:16But we must utilize God's word, see what God has revealed about himself in his word, what
  57. 4:22God says about mankind in his word, and how he requires his people to engage.
  58. 4:27It lines all of that out for us in his holy word.
  59. 4:30And today is no exception.
  60. 4:31We're going to begin the program.
  61. 4:33And James chapter two, James chapter two verse 26.
  62. 4:37And we're turning here because there are things that are happening before even stepping
  63. 4:41into the studio.
  64. 4:42I came on at four a little earlier than normal, but president Trump seemed to be holding fast
  65. 4:47with APM deadline in Iran.
  66. 4:50You know, we need to and I've been saying this repeatedly to pray for our leaders, to pray
  67. 4:55for our nation to pray for our servicemen and women,
  68. 4:59because this is a critical time,
  69. 5:01a critical time that we are living in.
  70. 5:06And so that is commanded of us in scripture.
  71. 5:09And in James chapter two, verse 26,
  72. 5:12the word of God says this,
  73. 5:14for just as the body without the spirit is dead,
  74. 5:18so also faith without works is dead.
  75. 5:23I'll read it again.
  76. 5:25For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.
  77. 5:33Now some have asked what can that mean because we have the teaching from the Apostle Paul,
  78. 5:38for example, that explains that we are saved by grace through faith.
  79. 5:44Yet, the Apostle James, the brother of Jesus, half brother, naturally speaking, is saying
  80. 5:52And faith without works is dead.
  81. 5:53So how do you reconcile those two verses?
  82. 5:55They seem to be contradicting one another.
  83. 6:00When the simple reality is they're not contradicting
  84. 6:02one another at all.
  85. 6:03The Apostle Paul, when explaining that we are saved
  86. 6:05by grace through faith, and here's the big fancy word,
  87. 6:08the soteriology, the soteriological,
  88. 6:12teaching that the Apostle Paul is offering,
  89. 6:14is explaining that salvation that we enjoy,
  90. 6:17that the free is a free gift of God,
  91. 6:20that we are not saved by any works that we perform,
  92. 6:23we are saved by grace alone, through faith alone,
  93. 6:27through the finished work on the cross alone.
  94. 6:30There's nothing we can add to secure our salvation.
  95. 6:33There's nothing we can add to purchase our salvation.
  96. 6:36We are saved as a result of what Jesus has secured
  97. 6:41on our behalf.
  98. 6:43What James is explaining is the fruit of
  99. 6:47or the outward working of salvation.
  100. 6:50The results of salvation, what James is talking about
  101. 6:53is what happens in and through the life of a person
  102. 6:56who has been saved.
  103. 6:58All right, so Paul is explaining how to become saved.
  104. 7:01James is explaining what happens once we are saved.
  105. 7:05And the reason why James is saying that
  106. 7:08because there are some people who would suggest
  107. 7:10that, well, I'm saved, but my life doesn't events that.
  108. 7:15And they quote the most off quoted, misquoted,
  109. 7:19decontextualized scripture ever, which is judge not.
  110. 7:22You can't judge me, only God can be my judge.
  111. 7:26Nah, God is the ultimate judge.
  112. 7:30For God's people have an obligation to judge.
  113. 7:32We just don't have the way we're thought to condemn.
  114. 7:35I refer to you, refer people to Psalm 1
  115. 7:37when the Lord says to the believer
  116. 7:39to walk not in the counsel of the ungodly.
  117. 7:42Well, I shall not judge.
  118. 7:43No, no, no, God commands me to judge.
  119. 7:45In order to meet a comply with what is taught in Psalm 1,
  120. 7:48I must be able to identify what and who is ungodly.
  121. 7:54Then I'm commanded once having made that identification
  122. 7:57of what and or who is ungodly, then I stay away from that.
  123. 8:03I stay away from that.
  124. 8:04That's a judgment.
  125. 8:05What I don't have the authority to do is to condemn.
  126. 8:08I don't get to put anybody in hell,
  127. 8:12but I have an obligation to judge.
  128. 8:14But this is what the scripture teaches.
  129. 8:15My obligation to judge begins with myself
  130. 8:20that I am to judge myself righteously.
  131. 8:24And then when it comes to others, external to me,
  132. 8:28that I apply the same standard to myself
  133. 8:32as I apply to someone else.
  134. 8:34So when you read the text, faith, without works is dead,
  135. 8:37the first application of that verse is to me.
  136. 8:41If I am a believer as I profess to be,
  137. 8:44then there are certain things that should be evident through my life.
  138. 8:49I need to assess whether or not I am a producer of good fruit.
  139. 8:54I must assess whether or not the spirit of God is evident in me through the fruit
  140. 9:00that is produced by Holy Spirit in my life.
  141. 9:03I have an obligation to do that.
  142. 9:05This is what the Apostle James is talking about.
  143. 9:08Fakes without works is dead.
  144. 9:10If I am saved, then that means I have a sobriety concern in the reality.
  145. 9:15of eternal life. There is a sobriety and a conviction concerning the things that God proclaims.
  146. 9:21There is a reality that I love what God loves and I loathe what God loaves. There is a reality
  147. 9:26that have an obligation to live as though I have been born again. And there are certain
  148. 9:33characteristics and features of regeneration that you cannot conceal. You cannot conceal.
  149. 9:41This is one of the reasons why one of my favorite things to do is to hear people testify
  150. 9:45I haven't been born again.
  151. 9:48A friend of mine was a brother in the faith,
  152. 9:50talks about man, before I was born again,
  153. 9:52you know, I was raised on the block,
  154. 9:53I used to fight all the time.
  155. 9:55Somebody look at me sideways, I'm, you know,
  156. 9:59I would bust them up real quick, you know?
  157. 10:02Talk to another friend, you know?
  158. 10:06I used to be profane in my speech,
  159. 10:08but God has redeemed me.
  160. 10:11And the redemption and the regeneration is so evident
  161. 10:14because when you hear the testimony,
  162. 10:16It is you're almost overwhelmed and shocked.
  163. 10:20No way, this brother was so gentle, so loving.
  164. 10:23Never would I realize he was a nuk if you buck kind of guy.
  165. 10:29That's what the word of God does.
  166. 10:30This is what the Apostle James is talking about
  167. 10:33when he says just as the body without the spirit is dead,
  168. 10:36so also his faith without works is dead.
  169. 10:38You can't sell the notion that you're born again,
  170. 10:42yet your life is continually and perpetually
  171. 10:47It's not distinct distinct from those who have not been born again.
  172. 10:54It's not possible.
  173. 10:56God knows we get saved.
  174. 10:57We don't get in a new mind instantaneously.
  175. 11:00Being born again doesn't make anybody sin less, but being born again does make you and
  176. 11:06me sin less.
  177. 11:10Because one of the major features of being born again is that the believer is mortified,
  178. 11:16mortified by their own sin.
  179. 11:20That's why it's not so easy for the believer to run around talking about what other people
  180. 11:23are not doing because our names are on Michael Jackson, but we are consistently looking at
  181. 11:29the man or woman in the mirror.
  182. 11:34So this is what the scripture is meaning and how we understand scripture, interpret scripture.
  183. 11:40Paul and James are not rivals.
  184. 11:42Paul and James are working together.
  185. 11:44Paul is explaining how one must be saved.
  186. 11:47You are saved by grace through faith.
  187. 11:49finished work on the cross, Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of the Mosaic Law, Jesus Christ
  188. 11:55is the fulfillment of the Passover. What Passover pointed to is fulfilled in Christ Jesus. That's
  189. 12:00why in Luke's recording of the Gospel, Luke records Jesus as they're participating in the
  190. 12:07Last Supper, which was also a Passover meal in which Jesus inaugurated what we describe as the
  191. 12:13Lord's Supper as he is participating with the back bread of the AFI Coleman as after they had
  192. 12:19taking the third cup of redemption during the Passover, Jesus says, this day, this cup that
  193. 12:27you're partaking of is the new covenant in my blood.
  194. 12:31This cup of redemption that you're taking is the new covenant in my blood.
  195. 12:38And as often as you partake in this meal, do so in remembrance of me.
  196. 12:42And the Apostle James comes in and describes me what happens in the life of a believer who
  197. 12:47has been born again.
  198. 12:49Faith without works is dead.
  199. 12:51If you are redeemed, your life should echo that reality.
  200. 12:55If you are born again, your life should look as if you are born again.
  201. 13:00There are certain appetites, certain approaches, certain things.
  202. 13:04When you are born again, the things that usually, that used to not bother you, now they become
  203. 13:08odious to you.
  204. 13:11It's like a person who is not a smoker, for example, and you enter the presence of a smoker.
  205. 13:20before when you used to be a smoker, you didn't smell certain things.
  206. 13:23And now that you're not smoking anymore, that aroma stands out to you.
  207. 13:27That's the example I'm talking about.
  208. 13:31James is honing in on that, just as the spirit, just as the body without the spirit is dead,
  209. 13:37so also faith without works is dead, man.
  210. 13:44You can't sell that I'm born again, yet there's no evidence of regeneration at any point in
  211. 13:53in your life. God knows where we are when He saves us. He knows that the holes we were in,
  212. 14:01when He redeemed us, when He found us. But when you've been redeemed, man, that redemption
  213. 14:08bears evidence in your life. It bears evidence in my life. And here's the other thing. It
  214. 14:13continues to bear evidence. You never get to the point where you arrive because God continues
  215. 14:18to refine and reform and to purify us to where we grow from glory to glory to glory.
  216. 14:29This is what we endeavor to convey on American Family Radio.
  217. 14:33This is what you support when you call 877-616-2396 or you give securely online at aFR.net because
  218. 14:42as long as there's breath in our lungs, we will continue to fulfill the vision of our
  219. 14:46founder by the Don Wildman, an endeavor to be salt and light in the midst of a dying world.
  220. 15:00We live in a day when America's families are under attack like never before.
  221. 15:05Buddy Smith, Senior Vice President of the American Family Association.
  222. 15:09The war against Biblical principles rages on numerous fronts.
  223. 15:14The Internet, Hollywood, Washington, D.C., America's corporate boardrooms, and the list goes on.
  224. 15:20At American Family Association, we're committed to standing against the enemies of God, the
  225. 15:26enemies of your family, and we recognize it's an impossible task without God's favor and
  226. 15:33your partnership.
  227. 15:34Thank you for being faithful to pray for this ministry, to give financially and to respond
  228. 15:40to our calls for activism.
  229. 15:42What you do on the home front is crucial to what we do on the battle front.
  230. 15:47We praise God for your faithfulness.
  231. 15:50And may He give us many victories in the battles ahead as we work together to restore our nation's
  232. 15:56biblical foundations.
  233. 15:57I'm Janine from Clarksville, Arkansas.
  234. 16:04I've been listening regularly to AFR for almost a year now and decided to become a monthly
  235. 16:10donor during the spring shareathon this past year.
  236. 16:14The programming on AFR provides a platform for honing my apologetic skills and keeps me
  237. 16:20informed on issues in the news from a biblical worldview and on stories I might
  238. 16:26not hear on legacy media. I was also challenged this year when listening to
  239. 16:32today's issues in May when the conversation turned to a discussion
  240. 16:38regarding hand-capping the Bible with a subsequent interview with a mother-in-law
  241. 16:43of the staff member who had completed that challenge in three years. I thought
  242. 16:48about that one of the instructions for the King of Israel found in Deuteronomy 1718 was
  243. 16:55that he write out for himself in a book, a copy of the law. So I began that challenge
  244. 17:01on May the 6th in Genesis and I'm happy to report that I am currently in the book of
  245. 17:07First Samuel. Thank you, AFR, for being a warrior in the spiritual battles being fought.
  246. 17:34on American Family Radio.
  247. 17:37Call and pledge your support at 877-616-2396.
  248. 17:42That's 877-616-2396,
  249. 17:46or give online at aFR.net,
  250. 17:49and help us love God and love people on American Family Radio.
  251. 17:53Welcome back to day one of the spring
  252. 18:002026, Sharethon, edition of the Hamilton Corner.
  253. 18:03Abraham Hamilton III is my name.
  254. 18:06We are, as I mentioned in day one, the number to call is 877-616-2396.
  255. 18:14That number again is 877-616-2396 or you can give securely online at aFR.net.
  256. 18:23That is aFR.net as I was sharing before.
  257. 18:27There are lots of places where you can get news and information and some places are better
  258. 18:32than others.
  259. 18:33One thing that you can rely upon here, and many of you who are listening, you have come to rely
  260. 18:38upon, is that we will always endeavor to anchor what is communicated on these airways on this
  261. 18:45network in God's holy word.
  262. 18:48It's one thing to have an opinion.
  263. 18:52Opinions are like armpits and elbows.
  264. 18:54Everybody has at least one for the most part.
  265. 18:57Sometimes people have two.
  266. 18:59And when someone has none, that's a rarity.
  267. 19:02But what we endeavor to do is to aid the audience in navigating the issues of the day.
  268. 19:10This is what we seek to do in this program through God's holy word.
  269. 19:14877-616-2396 is the number to call.
  270. 19:19877-6162-3966 is the number to call or you can give securely online at aFR.net.
  271. 19:27I'd like to play a testimony similar to the one before, man.
  272. 19:32I was so, so powerful that being challenged right on these airwaves with the hand copying
  273. 19:40of God's holy word.
  274. 19:41You'll remember as she alluded to in the book of Deuteronomy, the Israelite kings were commanded
  275. 19:47to have their own copy of God's holy word.
  276. 19:50But what happened when kings failed to comply with that command, it ended up having downstream
  277. 19:56consequences on their functioning as monarchs and then ultimately on the thrust of the society,
  278. 20:04so much so to where you get centuries down the line to where Josiah was surprised to learn
  279. 20:09about this thing called the book of the law.
  280. 20:12And similarly, we're experiencing a degradation of our own society because while we have in
  281. 20:18God we trust on our Federal Reserve notes our society does not look like we are trusting
  282. 20:24in God.
  283. 20:25So let's listen together to this listener testimony, someone situated just as many of
  284. 20:30you are right now listening to this program to hear how God used this network to minister
  285. 20:36to them.
  286. 20:37I'm Kay and I live in Newton, Kansas.
  287. 20:39There comes a time when I just have to go see and thank someone in person.
  288. 20:47So I drove to Tupelo the summer of 2023 to celebrate and praise the Lord for blessing
  289. 20:52me for at least the past 30 years because of what Mr. Don Wildman started 20 years before that.
  290. 21:01Driving onto the parking lot already felt like being on Holy Ground.
  291. 21:06Warm hospitality greeted me the moment I stepped inside the beautiful building.
  292. 21:11And then Miss Carmen took me on a tour and I met so many of the great people who daily promote
  293. 21:17and provide the best of quality in so many areas, for my information, encouragement and enjoyment.
  294. 21:25Actually, what struck me the most was how friendly, dedicated and engaging every staff person was to me,
  295. 21:32and that God had provided such brilliant and humble people together in this very special place.
  296. 21:39And like we say, for such a time as this, honestly,
  297. 21:45AFR has truly made radio great again.
  298. 21:49Thank you, thank you, thank you.
  299. 21:51I am so honored to financially and verbally support you.
  300. 21:55May the Lord continue to bless as you minister for him.
  301. 21:58Thank you so very much.
  302. 22:02Wow, wow, that's wonderful.
  303. 22:04And shout out to Carmen.
  304. 22:06If you visit AFR's headquarters,
  305. 22:07you'll probably get to meet Carmen.
  306. 22:10but she is so sweet praise God for that.
  307. 22:14The number to call is 877-616-2396.
  308. 22:19That number again is 877-616-2396.
  309. 22:23Or you can give securely online at afr.net.
  310. 22:26That is afr.net.
  311. 22:29There are some who become monthly donors
  312. 22:32on the one time basis.
  313. 22:34Others become, I'm sorry, I said monthly on one time.
  314. 22:37I meant to become donors on a one time basis.
  315. 22:40And then there are some who become regular monthly donors
  316. 22:44who we describe as great commission partners
  317. 22:46because you are literally partnering with us
  318. 22:50as we endeavor to execute the great commission
  319. 22:52into aid the church domestically and abroad.
  320. 22:56That is what you're investing in when you call
  321. 22:588-77616-2396 or you give securely online at aFR.net.
  322. 23:03That is aFR.net.
  323. 23:06Now I wanna turn for a moment
  324. 23:08because as I said yesterday, President Trump gave a deadline
  325. 23:14to the Iranians of 8 p.m. Eastern time today,
  326. 23:19or else, what he said, or else he threatened to strike,
  327. 23:24using our military to strike power plants, electrical,
  328. 23:30locations, infrastructure bridges,
  329. 23:33other locations all throughout Iran.
  330. 23:35And then earlier today, before I came on the air at 4 p.m., President Trump was approaching
  331. 23:41a press gaggle and he was asked whether or not he would hold fast to his 8 p.m. deadline
  332. 23:47and he responded, quote, 8 p.m. is happening, but a concrete deal could change things, end
  333. 23:54quote.
  334. 23:55So he still is saying that he's hopeful for a deal to come to the fore, but he's expressing
  335. 24:03his Resolute Commitment to Honor that 8 p.m. deadline.
  336. 24:08One of the things that may not be obvious is that the rogue Iranian regime has completely
  337. 24:15cut off internet access to people in the country in Iran.
  338. 24:21And so it's been cut off for nearly 40 days.
  339. 24:23And so there are questions circulating whether or not the people in Iran are aware of what
  340. 24:30President Trump has been saying.
  341. 24:32There obviously the speculations no one can say for certain what the people physically on the ground and Iran are saying
  342. 24:38But that does present a tortured
  343. 24:41Consequence but President Trump earlier this morning at 7 a.m. Eastern time this morning made this post
  344. 24:49And if you're watching the show Jeff would you put it up on the screen for the people that he posted on?
  345. 24:54truth social
  346. 24:57He posted this quote a whole civilization will die tonight
  347. 25:03Never to be brought back again.
  348. 25:07I don't want that to happen, but it probably will.
  349. 25:10However, now that we have complete and total regime change, where different, smarter, and
  350. 25:16less radicalized minds prevail, maybe something revolutionary-ly wonderful can happen.
  351. 25:22Who knows, in all caps, of course, we will find out tonight one of the most important
  352. 25:27moments in the long and complex history of the world.
  353. 25:3147 years of extortion, corruption, and death will finally end.
  354. 25:36God bless the great people of Iran in, I ran in quote, posted at 8, at 706 a.m. Eastern
  355. 25:43this morning.
  356. 25:46That's a lot.
  357. 25:47That's a lot in one post.
  358. 25:52And that has caused many people to be concerned.
  359. 25:55Now if you've been paying attention to the way President Trump speaks, he's often, he often
  360. 25:59and speaks in hyperbolic tones, you know, if he had a conversation for him, it was the greatest
  361. 26:06conversation. It was a great conversation. If somebody is nice to him, they're wonderful people,
  362. 26:13wonderful people. They're not nice to him. Very mean, very rude, very, very mean, very rude.
  363. 26:19You know how it goes. But when he says a whole civilization, there are, I think some disingenuous
  364. 26:30brokers, like Russell Moore and others who take this take that statement to mean or construe
  365. 26:36the statement as if President Trump is saying he's going to murder civilians.
  366. 26:41Like, like, I just think that's an unfair, that's an unfair reading and frankly a bit disingenuous
  367. 26:50because I believe they're using President Trump's communication style in an effort to
  368. 26:55try to besmirch him when I don't for one moment think that the whole civilization is a reference
  369. 27:02to the civilians.
  370. 27:03If you've been paying attention to President Trump, there's a whole thing from Operation
  371. 27:05Epic Fury.
  372. 27:06From the very first day he talked about it, he talked about trying to get rid of the ayatollahs
  373. 27:11in an effort to allow the Iranian people to liberate themselves.
  374. 27:17So refer to a whole civilization I take to mean.
  375. 27:21He talked about the reign of the Mullis, the Shiite, 12th imam, cleric regime.
  376. 27:32And I think if you're an honest broker reading the entirety of this post, you know that's
  377. 27:38what he means as well because he goes down in the same post and says, now that we have
  378. 27:43complete and total regime change where different, smarter and less radicalized minds prevail,
  379. 27:49maybe something revolutionary, really wonderful can happen.
  380. 27:53He says maybe.
  381. 27:54So if you will be honest about reading and I'm not trying to parse every single word of
  382. 27:58this social media post, but because the president has chosen to use social media to communicate,
  383. 28:03it's appropriate to evaluate what he posts on social media.
  384. 28:06But I think you should be honest about what he is posting.
  385. 28:09It seems clearly that the civilization he's talking about is the rule of the mullus.
  386. 28:13All right.
  387. 28:14The rule of the 12 or clerics.
  388. 28:17All right.
  389. 28:18Now, I do think it's noteworthy that he described that as total regime change because in previous
  390. 28:25statements he said that our objective was not regime change.
  391. 28:29So what does that mean?
  392. 28:31I do think it's fair to raise that.
  393. 28:33But to say that he's talking about he's going to annihilate Iranian civilians.
  394. 28:36I just think that's an unfair characterization.
  395. 28:39Now putting that to the side, it is interesting to see because 8 p.m.
  396. 28:43Eastern time is 7 p.m.
  397. 28:45Central time.
  398. 28:46about an hour after this show ends is the deadline.
  399. 28:49And, you know, I, it's one of those moments
  400. 28:53you ever heard of the old game chicken.
  401. 28:55You know, he's made the statement,
  402. 28:57eight p.m., a deal is, we have a deal in place or else.
  403. 29:03And there's a lot at risk when you have such,
  404. 29:07such an expressed timeline and such an expressed commitment
  405. 29:12because what happens?
  406. 29:14there was a lot of criticism rightly towards Barack Obama
  407. 29:17when he set his red lines, and then his red lines got crossed,
  408. 29:21and he'd reset the red lines,
  409. 29:22which communicated a bit of factlessness,
  410. 29:25a bit of weakness on his part.
  411. 29:28That is a risk being taken.
  412. 29:29Now, I don't, for one moment, think that President Trump
  413. 29:32is like Barack Obama, I think he's demonstrated that already,
  414. 29:35dating all the way back to Qasem Soleimani
  415. 29:38and all of those other things.
  416. 29:39And so this is a serious time.
  417. 29:41I'm sharing this with you, convey this information to you,
  418. 29:47to you in an effort to encourage what I said earlier,
  419. 29:49to pray for our country.
  420. 29:51You know, we just had the situation where we had the, you know,
  421. 29:55amazing rescue of a downed US airman.
  422. 29:58I saw reports today that said that the man was, was surviving behind
  423. 30:04enemy lines in Iran for 36 hours, for 36 hours.
  424. 30:08That could have been a disaster.
  425. 30:14Could have been a disaster.
  426. 30:15But thankfully our military was able to avoid it.
  427. 30:20I for one will be praying this evening.
  428. 30:22I wanna ask you to do the same.
  429. 30:24I have been praying, but I will continue to pray
  430. 30:30for our nation, for our leadership,
  431. 30:33for the Iranian people too.
  432. 30:34I mean, I've shared with you guys before
  433. 30:37that one of the places where the gospel is being advancing
  434. 30:39More than anywhere else internationally has been in Iran.
  435. 30:43And this is according to missionary reports from many different places.
  436. 30:47Our friends of voice and the martyrs have shared a lot some of this information open
  437. 30:51doors.
  438. 30:53Several other missionary outfits have been reporting this information.
  439. 30:57This is a pivotal time in our nation's history.
  440. 30:59And I know we have the things about the Strait of Hormuz and all that other kind of stuff.
  441. 31:04While those things are very important, they're not more important than people than people.
  442. 31:08So this is a very critical time.
  443. 31:1087616-239-6 is the number to call.
  444. 31:1587616-239-6 is the number to call.

  460. 32:31The number again is 877-616-2396.
  461. 32:37There's some information that I'm going to try to delve into in a moment that seems to
  462. 32:40be breaking right at this moment.
  463. 32:43But let's listen to another listener testimony as we head into this break.
  464. 32:47I've been listening to AFR for more than a dozen years.
  465. 32:54is no comparison as to the quality of the broadcasting on AFR.
  466. 32:59I've been through some really tough things these past 10 years and AFR has been a huge
  467. 33:03source of encouragement in my journey.
  468. 33:07All the shows during the week are great but my favorites are exploring the word and the
  469. 33:12Hamilton show and I really love trivia Friday because I like to laugh and you guys really
  470. 33:19make me laugh.
  471. 33:21Your weekend lineup is really great.
  472. 33:23I am really impressed because you don't slack off on the weekends.
  473. 33:27I'm hard pressed to pick a favorite, but most likely the top two for me would be exploring
  474. 33:33missions and share of truth applies scripture.
  475. 33:37And I know I'm older than their audience, but I learn a lot from these young people.
  476. 33:42I thank you AFR for being a light in the darkness to so many, me included.
  477. 33:48It's my big desire that I want to be able to visit your headquarters someday so I can
  478. 33:52Thank somebody in person. God bless you all.
  479. 33:55Wow. Well, praise God.
  480. 34:05Guys, that is the work that you're supporting.
  481. 34:08When you call 87616-239-6, the number again is 87616-239-6.
  482. 34:16I know we're going into a break, but it appears to be breaking news
  483. 34:20where President Trump is indicating a suspension of bombing
  484. 34:25for two weeks in Iran.
  485. 34:27We'll try to get into as much of this as we can in this next segment, an agreement to
  486. 34:34suspend bombing for two weeks.
  487. 34:38Is that what we see breaking now?
  488. 34:40We'll get into it on the other side of the break.
  489. 34:42You're listening to the Sherrithon edition of The Hamilton Corner.
  490. 34:458, 7, 7, 6, 1, 6, 2, 3, 9, 6 is the number to call to give your gift now.

  502. 35:33that is in Jesus Christ.
  503. 35:42Yes, my name is Gordon, and from Kansas, AFA saved my life.
  504. 35:48Thank you, Jesus, for all AFA staff.
  505. 35:50I'm a truck driver.
  506. 35:52I had an old homemade stereo in my jump seat.
  507. 35:55Every night at 1130-ish my stereo would only pick up 88.3
  508. 35:59for about a half hour.
  509. 36:01I was not happy to hear Tony Evans or Alan Jackson
  510. 36:04preaching Jesus.
  511. 36:05No matter what I did, that is the only sound I could get.
  512. 36:08trivia Friday really caught my attention.
  513. 36:10The laughter, the goodness, the 10th fret, and AJ,
  514. 36:13and others had, was so fine and got me to listen
  515. 36:16in every Friday.
  516. 36:17In one night, Alan Jackson gave his 10th career
  517. 36:20and pulling doubles.
  518. 36:21Got a two-way bode.
  519. 36:23I'd get the heart.
  520. 36:25And I have been sober for 22 months,
  521. 36:30and I have been growing in the world with ever since.
  522. 36:32And now with A.F.O.A. at playlist,
  523. 36:35in every waking moment, thank you, Jesus, and A.F.R.
  524. 36:38for being warriors for Jesus.
  525. 36:40I'd add his hand on my radio and I thank him for his grace.
  526. 36:44So don't give up.
  527. 36:45Give your heart and he won't pay off support at all.
  528. 36:49Thank you.
  529. 36:55Jesus told us to love God with all our heart, soul, and mind,
  530. 36:59and to love our neighbors as ourselves.
  531. 37:02Eat share a thought on American Family Radio.
  532. 37:05Call 877-616-2396 or give online at aFR.net.
  533. 37:12Make your pledge and help us love God and love people during
  534. 37:16Charathons.
  535. 37:17Welcome back ladies and gentlemen to the Hamilton corner
  536. 37:28of fall, 2026 spring, 2026, Charathons edition of the
  537. 37:35Hamilton corner.
  538. 37:36I alluded to this during the break, but it seems that
  539. 37:39President Trump has agreed to suspend bombing for two weeks in
  540. 37:48Iran.
  541. 37:50is what is being reported. A lot of the details we don't have just yet. I expect more details
  542. 37:57be coming forward. Questions that I have immediately as to whether or not this is a unilateral suspension
  543. 38:02or is this a agreement that is in place? It seems that this is a unilateral suspension
  544. 38:11that is announced. It's again as I said earlier, is this something where the president has some
  545. 38:19information that has led him to do this is just a gesture of good faith. We don't have
  546. 38:26all of those details yet, but it appears that the 8 p.m. deadline is now off of the table
  547. 38:33from the president. It appears at this juncture. And because this is breaking while we're on
  548. 38:40the air, we're not able to get all of the details. But I definitely will dig into this
  549. 38:45and we'll have more to report as we come back later.
  550. 38:50And I'll ask if see, maybe you guys can pull it up for me.
  551. 38:53But President Trump has posted on True Social.
  552. 38:55I'll try to read it quickly based on conversations with Prime Minister Shabaa Sharif and Field
  553. 39:00Marshal, I see him near of Pakistan.
  554. 39:03And wherein they requested that I hold off the destructive force being sent tonight to
  555. 39:07Iran and subject to the Islamic Republic of Iran agreeing to the complete immediate and
  556. 39:13safe opening of the Strait of her muse. Her moves, I agree to suspend the bombing and attack
  557. 39:18of Iran for a period of two weeks. There's more that he said there. I don't want to risk
  558. 39:23that screen going off before I get it all out. I'll try to get it get it here. But there's
  559. 39:27more that's being said there, but President Trump has made a post on true social and because
  560. 39:33we have the best people ever. Yes, if you have it, Jeff, would you please? It's on the screen
  561. 39:39Now, it's on the screen now.
  562. 39:41So if you're watching the show, you can read it.
  563. 39:43I'll read the whole true social post.
  564. 39:45I'll start at the beginning again.
  565. 39:46President Trump just posted this at 5.32 PM Central time,
  566. 39:516.32 PM Eastern time.
  567. 39:53And again, I started to top quote, based on conversations
  568. 39:56with Prime Minister Shabbat Sharif and field Marshal
  569. 39:59at Semunir of Pakistan.
  570. 40:01And wherein they requested that I hold off the destructive force
  571. 40:04being sent tonight to Iran and subject to the Islamic Republic
  572. 40:07Iran agreeing to complete immediate and safe opening of the Strait of Hormuz.
  573. 40:13I agree to suspend the bombing and attack of Iran for a period of two weeks.
  574. 40:18This will be a double-sided ceasefire.
  575. 40:23The reason for doing so is that we have already met and exceeded all military objectives, and
  576. 40:29are very far along with a definitive agreement concerning long-term peace with Iran.
  577. 40:35And peace in the Middle East.
  578. 40:37received a 10-point proposal from Iran and believe it is a workable basis on which to
  579. 40:43negotiate. Almost all of the various points of past contention have been agreed to between
  580. 40:49the United States and Iran, but a two-week period will allow the agreement to be finalized
  581. 40:54and consummated on behalf of the United States of America. As President and also representing
  582. 41:01the countries of the Middle East, it is an honor to have this long-term problem close
  583. 41:05the resolution. Thank you for your attention to this matter. President Donald J. Trump in
  584. 41:10quote. I want to leave it on the screen for a little bit, Jeff, for those who may just
  585. 41:14be tuning in or who didn't have the chance to read that. This is interesting that this
  586. 41:25is all breaking right at this moment, right at this moment. So according to the president's
  587. 41:32post, we'll just go through it right here on the air live. And again, those who are ready
  588. 41:36to give for a share of thaw, you can do so by calling 877616-2396. That number again is
  589. 41:44877616-2396, or you can give securely online at aFR.net. Here we are sharing this breaking
  590. 41:52news right as it's happening. You wonder why I call him, produce extraordinary and I
  591. 41:57I all know, you know, as right as it's happening, we have the president's rationale as he's posted
  592. 42:02it, but according to what President Trump has said that the communications included communications
  593. 42:07between the United States of America and Pakistan acting as a negotiator between Iran and the
  594. 42:16United States of America, which is information that may not have been provided before.
  595. 42:20If you recall, I had been asking, well, president is the president is talking about he's negotiating,
  596. 42:25who is he negotiated with?
  597. 42:26who is he negotiating with?
  598. 42:28All right, we now know that the Pakistanis
  599. 42:31have been serving as an intermediary for the negotiation.
  600. 42:36In addition to that, President Trump has posted
  601. 42:40on True Social that Iran has agreed,
  602. 42:45this is what he's saying,
  603. 42:46let me make sure I read it properly.
  604. 42:48We're in the request of that,
  605. 42:49I hold off the instructions,
  606. 42:50I'm not in Iran, so just let me.
  607. 42:52Okay, so apparently the president is indicating
  608. 42:54that Iran has agreed to,
  609. 42:56And he put these in all caps, complete, immediate and a safe opening of the Strait of her moves.
  610. 43:03That's news.
  611. 43:04All right.
  612. 43:05That's what the president has reported.
  613. 43:08And in light of that, he's agreed to suspend the attack on Iran that previously had the
  614. 43:12APM deadline that he, in the suspension period is two weeks.
  615. 43:17Would you have Bobby?
  616. 43:18The Dow futures are up a point and a half.
  617. 43:22The exact is up almost two point to following this announcement. So Bobby is sharing is that
  618. 43:29the stock market is immediately responding to the announcement that the NASDAQ is up.
  619. 43:33The Dow futures is up part of 2% on all three major index. Okay. On all three all major three
  620. 43:40major indexes you see are there about 2% are within that all four all four all four. Okay.
  621. 43:47That's news. Thank you for that Bobby. Getting back to President Trump's post. He said that
  622. 43:52But this ceasefire is a double sided ceasefire, meaning the Iranians are going to stop popping
  623. 43:57off and the US will stop popping off for a period of two weeks.
  624. 44:05Then President Trump goes on to say that we've already met and exceeded our military objectives
  625. 44:11and that there's already been progress in negotiation for long term and definitive peace
  626. 44:17between the US and Iran.
  627. 44:20not just between the US and Iran, but peace between the Iranians and the remainder of the
  628. 44:25nations in the Middle East.
  629. 44:27President Trump specifically cites, was that?
  630. 44:29Oil has dropped 10%.
  631. 44:32The cost per barrel?
  632. 44:35So apparently the oil markets are responding and that the per barrel cost for oil has dropped
  633. 44:4110%, while I'm reading or talking through President Trump's true social post.
  634. 44:47The president says that he received or we the United States of America received a 10 point
  635. 44:54proposal from Iran and President Trump believes that it is a workable basis upon which to negotiate.
  636. 45:04He said almost all of the various points of past contention have been agreed to, which
  637. 45:09obviously my most immediate question is.
  638. 45:12So they've agreed to cease pursuit of a nuclear weapon.
  639. 45:15But apparently, this hinges on opening the straighter.
  640. 45:20Uh-huh.
  641. 45:21Yeah, so right.
  642. 45:23So Bob is saying that most of this current conversation
  643. 45:26is about opening the straighter for moves.
  644. 45:28But when the president says that the Iranians have agreed
  645. 45:30to almost all of the various points of past contention,
  646. 45:37past contention would indicate this is not limited
  647. 45:40to the straighter for moves because that happened following
  648. 45:42the initiation of Operation Epic Fury.
  649. 45:45But the past contention as to why Operation Epic Fury was
  650. 45:49instituted in the first place had to do with the
  651. 45:52Iranians' pursuit of a nuclear weapon.
  652. 45:56So my question is, at this point, is if almost all
  653. 46:00various points of past contention have been agreed to,
  654. 46:03has there been an agreement concerning the pursuit
  655. 46:08of a nuclear weapon?
  656. 46:09All right?
  657. 46:11What other?
  658. 46:12Obviously, we don't know the answer to all of these.
  659. 46:13But these are questions that are, are, are, are, I'm, I'm reacted to this immediately on
  660. 46:17the air right now in real time.
  661. 46:19Um, has there been agreement concerning Iran's capacity to quote, to quote general raising
  662. 46:27cane as there been an agreement reached concerning our reigns capacity to quote project strength
  663. 46:35beyond its borders?
  664. 46:38Has there been an agreement there?
  665. 46:41These are these are things that are worth being requested.
  666. 46:46But the news that is breaking now is that a two week ceasefire has been announced.
  667. 46:53The details we don't have, but the president seem to be confident that they have a basis
  668. 46:58to continue negotiations and that he believes that two weeks provides enough time to finalize
  669. 47:05the agreements that have already the, the, the, the, to finalize an agreement following negotiations
  670. 47:10that are already underway.
  671. 47:13Now, as we have mentioned, that on the economic front,
  672. 47:18for the four major stock indexes have all responded
  673. 47:24to this announcement with an increase,
  674. 47:25and that the price for oil at this moment appears
  675. 47:28to have dropped about $10 a barrel,
  676. 47:30about $10 a barrel, not just 10%,
  677. 47:32but about $10 per barrel.
  678. 47:34Yeah, which is about 9%.
  679. 47:36Okay, which is about 9%.
  680. 47:389% this is according to Mr. Arrosa.
  681. 47:41Brent has dropped $11.5.
  682. 47:45What's that?
  683. 47:45Brent.
  684. 47:46Brent.
  685. 47:47No sea crude.
  686. 47:48Okay.
  687. 47:49No sea crude.
  688. 47:50That's down 11.50.
  689. 47:51It's about 11% drop.
  690. 47:55This is interesting.
  691. 47:57This is interesting how all of this is unfolding at this very moment.
  692. 48:01Now should these should this negotiation hold?
  693. 48:05You know, is this President Trump?
  694. 48:07art of the deal coming to fort once again, is it the Iranians recognizing that that the
  695. 48:15president was serious about what's going on?
  696. 48:18We will find out more information from this, but at the moment, it is breaking right at
  697. 48:23this moment that President Trump has announced a two week ceasefire that is a reciprocal ceasefire,
  698. 48:29double sided ceasefire both on the Iranian side and on the American side and the communication
  699. 48:37according to what president Trump has revealed included the Pakistani serving as a broker,
  700. 48:43if you will, between the parties in this instance.
  701. 48:47That is news, ladies and gentlemen.

  714. 49:50another
  715. 49:51listener testimony once we are ready to roll i think we're ready to roll now
  716. 49:56let's listen together
  717. 49:57I'm Tara from Aiken, South Carolina, but at the time I first found AFR.net we were in
  718. 50:04Houston, Texas.
  719. 50:06And our son had just graduated from college.
  720. 50:09A seemingly wonderful event turned into tragedy when he came to us on a cruise ship in the
  721. 50:17middle of a cruise ship and said that he was suicidal and that he could not go on living.
  722. 50:23immediately left the ship, came back home and just started in tense prayer, trying to find
  723. 50:29counselors, trying to find answers.
  724. 50:31And as a mother, I knew that I could not heal him in this.
  725. 50:35I had to step back and give God this power to do this.
  726. 50:38But boy, it was hard to do it.
  727. 50:41But AFR was the one who supported me through that.
  728. 50:44When I needed encouragement, when I needed truth, when I needed God's promises, I needed
  729. 50:49to those and AFR every single day came through for me.
  730. 50:53And then I got to come full circle this past year.
  731. 50:56I decided to build her on homes here in Ateons,
  732. 50:59South Carolina and asked my son to come help me
  733. 51:01put up the silks and throw a long,
  734. 51:05God way, we met a young man who was going through
  735. 51:10a lot in his life and after three years of discussion
  736. 51:13between me and my son, he said that he was planning
  737. 51:16to take his life at night.
  738. 51:18And my son went up to him and embraced him and said,
  739. 51:21only God can help you through this.
  740. 51:23And we had the power to share what my son had come through
  741. 51:27to help the show man and that how God works.
  742. 51:31And just having AFR confirmed that and affirm
  743. 51:33that has meant the most in our life.
  744. 51:36We so appreciate you guys.
  745. 51:41Wow.
  746. 51:44What do you say to that?
  747. 51:45These are heavy.
  748. 51:46I mean, this is amazing.
  749. 51:49And then all I can say is,
  750. 51:50Man, I am grateful to God for being able to play a small role in this and I'm grateful
  751. 51:57for all of you who are listening and who support the work that God is doing.
  752. 52:03Hearing testimonies like that are reminders that God is at work.
  753. 52:09Anybody who would tell you that God is not at work, guys, they are misinformed, they are
  754. 52:17Even if they are passionate in their articulation, they are passionately misinformed that God rules
  755. 52:22and reigns in the affairs of men, and he is still drawing people to himself.
  756. 52:27He is mobilizing his body all over the world.
  757. 52:32One of the realities that we say often hears that darkness is not an affirmative force.
  758. 52:36It merely reoccupies the space that is vacated by the light.
  759. 52:40And one of the things about darkness is that it has a potent marketing in advertising department.
  760. 52:47to present itself as if it is inescapable and ubiquitous
  761. 52:53and there's nothing that you can do about it,
  762. 52:55but it's not the portion of us to say,
  763. 52:58we are the ones who address it.
  764. 53:00We are servants of the Most High,
  765. 53:03and he has chosen by his divine providence
  766. 53:05to utilize his people to be his hands and feet.
