  1. 0:00Darkness is not an affirmative force.
  2. 0:03It simply reoccupies the space vacated by the light.
  3. 0:07This is the Hamilton Corner on American Family Radio.
  4. 0:11It should be uncomfortable for a believer to live as a hypocrite.
  5. 0:15Delivery people out of the bondage of mainstream media.
  6. 0:18And the philosophies of this world.
  7. 0:20God has called you and me to be his ambassador.
  8. 0:24Even in this dark moment.
  9. 0:26Let's not miss our moment.
  10. 0:28And now the Hamilton corner.
  11. 0:33Good evening everyone.
  12. 0:35Welcome to The Hamilton Corner, my name is Abrams Hamilton the third.
  13. 0:38I am the host of this program joined by the Corner Contingent right across from me.
  14. 0:43My man $100 grand Mr. Bobby, and in the screening room we have our friendly neighborhood would
  15. 0:53of hol strife perpetually in recovery.
  16. 0:57in the screening room.
  17. 0:58We also have Richie Rich, though the stock market made dip.
  18. 1:02It will not affect Richie Rich.
  19. 1:04He's in the screening room as well.
  20. 1:06And we are ready to rock and roll
  21. 1:08with the days addition of the program.
  22. 1:09And however, though the market dipped temporarily,
  23. 1:14it made a quick adjustment, shall I say,
  24. 1:20which should be expected with all of the tariff talking.
  25. 1:24And I want everybody to know when I'm talking about
  26. 1:26like tariffs, for example, I'm not immune.
  27. 1:28Mr. Rosa and I were even talking last week about it. Hey, we got some portfolios as being impacted as well
  28. 1:34but it is
  29. 1:37It's quite shameful
  30. 1:40There's no other way to explain it. It's quite shameful that we've had people in positions of public service
  31. 1:47and I'm going to emphasize that public service that
  32. 1:51Endeavour to serve the public by outsourcing our
  33. 1:56Occupational futures
  34. 1:58You know it is shameful that we've had an American government that has allowed a rust belt to a
  35. 2:06Develop in America that that that is shameful
  36. 2:09you know, you know people who are in business they are in business to make a profit no doubt about it and
  37. 2:15You know China is like well if y'all are gonna be fools
  38. 2:19Don't mind me for taking advantage of your fooler
  39. 2:21but we've had people in our own country and have sold us out and
  40. 2:27And the markets are responding because President Trump, true to his campaign promise to be America first, is endeavoring to rebalance that on the international stage.
  41. 2:39So, there's some tumultuousness in the stock market currently.
  42. 2:47But I pray that that wisdom would prevail and that the willingness of President Trump to stake the entirety of his presidency on this thing.
  43. 2:59He's doing a lot of other things that are being overshadowed
  44. 3:02by
  45. 3:03The tariff conversation understandably so, you know James Carvo comes to mind. It's the economy
  46. 3:10Comes to mind he said something after that and I ain't gonna say right now, you know
  47. 3:14I'm trying to tell my children I'd say those words but
  48. 3:17Try to is an operative word there at this very moment many of you if not most of you are making your transition
  49. 3:24From your part-time jobs where you generate an income to your full-time jobs where you generate an outcome and
  50. 3:29And as you do so, I want to remind you to do so with intentionality, understand in the
  51. 3:36primacy that God places on family and allowing that to inform your engagement as well as my
  52. 3:45own.
  53. 3:47Right now this is probably my favorite time of year because the entire world is brought
  54. 3:55face to face with the reality of Messiah's resurrection. I mean, no matter where you stand
  55. 4:03and no matter what is transpiring in the entirety of the world, much of the world is being confronted
  56. 4:13with the reality of Jesus's resurrection. So as you are making your transition, it is
  57. 4:22of utmost importance that we,
  58. 4:26as we talk about the celebration of the resurrection,
  59. 4:29and there would be no resurrection
  60. 4:31without the crucifixion,
  61. 4:33as we talk about the reality of the resurrection,
  62. 4:36may we all be found to celebrate in the resurrection
  63. 4:39in our own homes,
  64. 4:41in allowing the reality of the resurrection
  65. 4:45to inform the lives that we live
  66. 4:48because it is 100% true,
  67. 4:54that the resurrection has made eternal life a reality.
  68. 4:58To the word of God, we go Luke chapter 24,
  69. 5:00Luke chapter 24, this is a familiar passage of scripture,
  70. 5:04but it's a portion of scripture that I reflect on often.
  71. 5:08And I want to encourage you to consider this as well.
  72. 5:16The verses we're gonna focus on in Luke chapter 24
  73. 5:19is our verses 13 through 20.
  74. 5:22by way of reminder, one of the canonical criteria,
  75. 5:27one of the criteria that was employed
  76. 5:29to distinguish authoritative scripture from other writings.
  77. 5:35All right, because some people got to say,
  78. 5:37oh, the council and I see it created the Bible.
  79. 5:39No, it didn't.
  80. 5:40No, it didn't.
  81. 5:40And it wasn't even the council and I see it.
  82. 5:42Council's acknowledge was already recognized
  83. 5:44as authoritative within the body of Christ.
  84. 5:46So Lord move through Athanasius on one portion
  85. 5:49of the Roman Empire and council on the other portion
  86. 5:51to develop this canonical criterion, one of the criterion employed to determine what text
  87. 5:58would be recognized as authoritative, inspired scripture is that it had to be written by an
  88. 6:05eyewitness of Jesus Christ.
  89. 6:06All right, during his incarnation, sorry, an eyewitness of Jesus Christ or a disciple of
  90. 6:14an eyewitness of Jesus Christ of the apostles of Jesus Christ.
  91. 6:20They all witnessed Jesus during his incarnation save for the apostle Paul who describes himself
  92. 6:26as one born out of time who yeshua reveals himself to en route to Damascus.
  93. 6:34So you have for example, one was described as a four gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and
  94. 6:37John written by apostles who beheld the incarnate Christ directly.
  95. 6:42The gospel of Mark is actually Mark serving as a stenographer, if you will, for Peter's
  96. 6:47account of Jesus's life. The Gospel of Luke, Dr. Luke, is detailed by a disciple of the
  97. 6:59Apostle Paul. Luke was a disciple of the Apostle Paul. Those are some of the criterion that
  98. 7:07distinguished canonical text from other writings, apocryphal writings and other things. I wanted
  99. 7:13to mention that. The beginnings of chapter 24 provide details from Dr. Luke concerning
  100. 7:20Messiah's resurrection verse 13 begins with a post resurrection or begins a post resurrection
  101. 7:30Account and it's there will pick up
  102. 7:32Luke 24 verse 13 and word of God says this that very day two of them two of the disciples
  103. 7:39Not the apostles with two of the other disciples
  104. 7:41We're going to a village named Emmaus about seven miles from Jerusalem
  105. 7:47And they were talking with each other about all these things that had happened while they were talking and discussing together
  106. 7:56Jesus himself
  107. 7:58drew near and
  108. 8:00Went with them, but their eyes were kept from recognizing him and he said to them
  109. 8:08What is this conversation?
  110. 8:10That you are holding with each other as you walk and they stood still
  111. 8:16Looking sad
  112. 8:17Then one of them named Cleopas answered him. Are you the only visitor to Jerusalem?
  113. 8:25Who doesn't know the things that have happened there in these days?
  114. 8:28And he said to them what things that's what Jesus says what things?
  115. 8:33And they said to him
  116. 8:36Concerning Jesus of Nazareth a man who was a prophet
  117. 8:40mighty indeed and word before God and all the people and how our chief priests and rulers delivered him up to be
  118. 8:49be condemned to death and crucified him.
  119. 8:52Oh, so what we have here, as I mentioned earlier,
  120. 8:58is a post-resurrection account.
  121. 9:02To where we have two disciples, one of them is named
  122. 9:04in the text, Cleopas.
  123. 9:08They are identified as walking away from Jerusalem
  124. 9:13toward Emmaus.
  125. 9:14Many of you will recognize that that is in direct
  126. 9:16contravention, direct contravention to a Jesus,
  127. 9:22tarry in Jerusalem, wait in Jerusalem,
  128. 9:25until you receive the promise of my father, where Cleopas and his companion are doing the
  129. 9:28exact opposite, which she immediately calls to begin to examine why are they doing the
  130. 9:34exact opposite?
  131. 9:35Why are they going in a different direction?
  132. 9:38Well one of the major things or the primary reasoning for this is that they along with
  133. 9:44all in Jerusalem had just witnessed Jesus' crucifixion.
  134. 9:50as the scripture unfolds, this transpires during Passover.
  135. 9:57In contrary to many of the,
  136. 10:00much of the iconography and the imagery,
  137. 10:03Jesus's torture and crucifixion was brutal.
  138. 10:10Unlike many of the depictions,
  139. 10:11there was no cloth covering his private regions.
  140. 10:16He blanned from every orifice of his body.
  141. 10:22And many of them, including Cleopas and his companion, had hopes placed in one direction
  142. 10:31that were utterly decimated by the cross.
  143. 10:37You would be right to say that as Jesus was brutalized and ultimately executed on the
  144. 10:42cross, that they beat the hope out of Cleopas' companion and many people who profess to be
  145. 10:48disciples.
  146. 10:49And so they were going away from where Jesus had instructed them.
  147. 10:54the gospel's record, Peter, who was called away from being a fisherman, went back to
  148. 10:58fishing because he was so hopeless at that juncture.
  149. 11:02But in one of the most profound offerings in the scripture, notice, I want you to notice
  150. 11:12what the text says.
  151. 11:14The two of them were going to a village named Ami.
  152. 11:16It's about seven miles away from Jerusalem.
  153. 11:20And they're talking with each other about what had just happened, namely Jesus is crucifixion.
  154. 11:27to at this juncture were not aware. Oh God, that Messiah resurrected. They were unaware at this
  155. 11:36junction. So with their hope crushed the expectations decimated and en route to a place away from
  156. 11:47where Jesus had instructed them to be. Look at verse 13. While they were talking and discussing
  157. 11:55together, Jesus himself draws near to them. He goes with them. Though they were unaware of
  158. 12:06the resurrection, Jesus didn't wait until they learned about it. He draws near to them. The entire
  159. 12:14Emmaus road encounter the things that transpire thereafter, the communication from the entirety
  160. 12:21of scripture, you read them in the continued portion of this account. Jesus continues talking
  161. 12:26with him and then they notice the observation is made that he begins to teach
  162. 12:32them all things concerning himself from the Hebrew text while their eyes are being
  163. 12:38kept and when they arrive in Emeas they still didn't recognize that they have been
  164. 12:45conversing in striding with a resurrected Christ and this the scripture reveals he
  165. 12:50was made known unto them in the breaking of the bread then their eyes were opened
  166. 12:55What I want you to notice is who was it that initiated the Emmaus Road encounter?
  167. 13:03Was it Cleopas in his companion?
  168. 13:06No.
  169. 13:07They were walking away from what Jesus told them to go.
  170. 13:11But Jesus himself walks up alongside them.
  171. 13:15Brothers and sisters, this gives us a profound picture of the enduring love of Christ.
  172. 13:21At the moment where their hope was decimated, their anticipation was crushed.
  173. 13:26They had no expectation concerning the very thing they previously placed their hope in.
  174. 13:31And at that very moment, Jesus didn't wait for them to get it together.
  175. 13:35He comes up alongside them.
  176. 13:39And when the eyes are finally opened, they could remark to one another, did not our hearts
  177. 13:43burn within us?
  178. 13:45Did not our hearts burn within us as he talked with us along the way?
  179. 13:51Oh man, one of the most profound realities.
  180. 13:56The scriptures revealed that there were none that our Lord could swear by so he swore by himself
  181. 14:01that the King of glory invaded human history so that he might redeem for himself a people
  182. 14:08to live eternally.
  183. 14:11At the moment where you and I are tempted to become listful and hopeless, it is Christ
  184. 14:17himself who draws near to us.
  185. 14:21And I want to say something very simply as we are in the throes of this holy week.
  186. 14:27of you listening to me right now have felt the Lord drawing you and nudging you toward him,
  187. 14:32but you felt like, man, I'm with my life as a mess. Then I'm a wreck. I got to get myself
  188. 14:38together. And I would simply say that the Lord Jesus, his example is you don't have to
  189. 14:43get yourself together. You come to him and it isn't coming to him that he makes crooked
  190. 14:49places straight. It isn't coming to him that he redeems us from sin, death, hell in the
  191. 14:55the grave. You don't have to fix yourself. You come to him because he is the fixer.
  192. 14:59I'd like to take a minute and have a heart to heart with you. If you're able,
  193. 15:03place your hand over your heart. Can you feel it? My strong heartbeat reminds me
  194. 15:09that I'm alive. See, it's the same for an unborn baby. The heart begins to form at
  195. 15:15conception and in just three weeks is already beating. At five weeks, a baby's
  196. 15:20heart can be heard on an ultrasound. That's where preborn steps in, rescuing 200
  197. 15:26babies every day from abortion by simply providing a mother with a free ultrasound and allowing
  198. 15:32her to hear her child's heartbeat and see their perfectly formed body in the womb.
  199. 15:39By six weeks eyes are forming. By ten weeks a baby is able to suck his or her thumb.
  200. 15:46Preborn needs our help to save these precious babies. For just $28 you could be the difference
  201. 15:52between the life or death of a baby.
  202. 15:55All gifts are tax deductible.
  203. 15:57To donate, just dial pound 250 and say the keyword baby.
  204. 16:01That's pound 250 baby.

  207. 16:15Shining light into the darkness,
  208. 16:17this is the Hamilton Corner on American Family Radio.
  209. 16:21Welcome back to the Hamilton Corner,
  210. 16:22Abraham Hamilton the third here.
  211. 16:24Man, this is going to be.
  212. 16:28busy summer.
  213. 16:32May 22nd to 24th, we will be in North Carolina,
  214. 16:36Winston-Salem, North Carolina at the NCHE Thrive Convention.
  215. 16:42That is North Carolinians for home schooling,
  216. 16:44for home education, I should say.
  217. 16:46We'll be there, keep your eyes and ears tuned.
  218. 16:51The AFA activate summit will happen this summer.
  219. 16:54In June, it's gonna be a busy summer.
  220. 16:57will be broadcasting from North Carolina in May, May 22nd to 24th.
  221. 17:02Please visit nce.com to register to check back with the AFR.net speakers page where you'll
  222. 17:11see the events where we're loading them up there.
  223. 17:15They're being loaded up a few months at a time.
  224. 17:18So it's not to overwhelm the schedule, but we will be on the road this entire year.
  225. 17:23It's going to be a busy year.
  226. 17:25God is good, God is faithful, and I am so looking forward to it.
  227. 17:31We are in Holy Week, and it was heartening for me to see President Trump issue a statement
  228. 17:38from the White House concerning Holy Week and what she said, quote, this Holy Week, Melania
  229. 17:43and I join in prayer with Christians celebrating the crucifixion and resurrection of our Lord
  230. 17:48and Savior Jesus Christ, the living Son of God who conquered death, freed us from sin
  231. 17:53and then unlocked the gates of heaven for all humanity."
  232. 17:56In quote, it is encouraging to have the White House be so forthright in describing this and
  233. 18:07not trying to say yes and along with all of these other things.
  234. 18:13And I know other people, the separation of church and state people are going to be upset,
  235. 18:16which is so funny that the only way they can be upset is if they do not understand Thomas
  236. 18:24Jefferson's eight words from his letter to the Christians in Danbury, Connecticut.
  237. 18:32But I stated in the first segment, this is my favorite time of year, because the
  238. 18:38whole world is confronted with the reality of Messiah's resurrection.
  239. 18:45But the longest people attempted to debate and to question the historicity of
  240. 18:56Jesus Christ, whether or not Jesus was a historical person, historical figure.
  241. 19:09It was quite interesting to watch a debate between the gentleman just last last month,
  242. 19:19his name, not Hitchens, the other atheist who had to admit, well, of course, Jesus is a historical
  243. 19:25person, because in his book, he questioned whether or not he was, you know, and the reason
  244. 19:32why I'm reflecting on this and just in my own reflections, it is true.
  245. 19:37This with the scripture says, it's only one name under heaven by which men must be
  246. 19:40saved, you know, and the greatest news in human history is that Jesus Christ died
  247. 19:51for the sins of mankind.
  248. 19:54Now, make no mistake about it.
  249. 19:57No man comes to the Lord, unless he is drawn, the spirit of God must open the eyes
  250. 20:01of the unbeliever.
  251. 20:02But I often say that the believer's privilege is to live from eternity for eternity.
  252. 20:12And it is heartening to see and to hear.
  253. 20:17I am by no means attempting to assert anything concerning President Trump's salvation, the
  254. 20:25lack thereof.
  255. 20:26I know some people say he saved.
  256. 20:27I'm not saying that I know for a fact he is saved or he isn't saved.
  257. 20:33If he is in our prey to the Lord, would open his eyes and draw him to himself.
  258. 20:41But it is a welcome change to not have overt hostility coming from the over office against
  259. 20:49Christ followers in our day and our time.
  260. 20:58The scriptures command the believer to pray for all men are prayer for all men are people,
  261. 21:03including civic leadership.
  262. 21:05And we have a duty to obey the Lord.
  263. 21:08I would assert that one of the most enduring needs
  264. 21:13or prayers certainly wisdom for our leadership,
  265. 21:16but for their souls to be saved.
  266. 21:19You know, because there are a lot of things that,
  267. 21:23well, let me say it differently.
  268. 21:25When the Lord opens a man or a woman's heart,
  269. 21:28open their eyes to embrace salvation,
  270. 21:31everything is impacted by that.
  271. 21:35So I just was heartened by that,
  272. 21:39and I just wanted to share that with you.
  273. 21:42I also mentioned in the first segment
  274. 21:44that you had ups and downs with the stock market,
  275. 21:50stock market closed today, up quite significantly.
  276. 21:56Up quite significantly.
  277. 21:57Then you have this announcement from the company in Vidia.
  278. 22:02Nvidia announced today that it will quote design and build factories that for the first
  279. 22:07time will produce Nvidia AI supercomputers entirely in the United States of America.
  280. 22:14The US based multinational tech corporation has committed to spend $500 billion to make
  281. 22:20AI supercomputers entirely in the United States of America.
  282. 22:27Was that because of Terrace?
  283. 22:28Not because of Terrace?
  284. 22:30According to Nvidia CEO, they had been in conversations with the Trump administration for
  285. 22:34quite some time about this. It is encouraging. The NVIDIA statement continued saying quote,
  286. 22:52within the next four years, NVIDIA plans to produce up to half a trillion dollars of AI
  287. 22:58infrastructure in the United States through partnerships with TSMC. That is, I have the
  288. 23:05Taiwan's semiconductor manufacturing company, Foxconn,
  289. 23:08Wistrum, Amcore, and SPIL. These world leading companies are
  290. 23:13deepening their partnerships with Nvidia growing their businesses
  291. 23:16while expanding their global footprint and hardening supply
  292. 23:20chain resilience.
  293. 23:27Currently, Nvidia outsources production of its chips to
  294. 23:32Taiwan's, Taiwan's semiconductor manufacturing company, and
  295. 23:37Samsung, which manufactured their chips in Taiwan and South Korea, and some of the United States.
  296. 23:43But with this communication, the video is commuting itself to make the supercomputers
  297. 23:49exclusively in the United States of America. This follows, this follows, TMSC, Taiwan,
  298. 23:56semiconductor manufacturing company CEO, Jinseng Wang announcing a $100 billion investment in chip
  299. 24:04manufacturing plants here in America. I'm just saying, I've said and I will continue to say,
  300. 24:11President Trump does things that I would probably do differently. However, he has been the only
  301. 24:16president within the last half century that has been willing to take aim at China. Today's
  302. 24:25announcements to where he's adjusting tears even more and the stock market's response
  303. 24:31is an indication that if you're willing to do something,
  304. 24:35you could drive some response.
  305. 24:38But for far too long, it would be unwilling,
  306. 24:43which provokes, in my opinion, the question,
  307. 24:48why hasn't any other American president
  308. 24:53been willing to take China on?
  309. 24:56Obviously, I'm aware that Bill Clinton
  310. 24:59had the exact wrong policy because he is responsible
  311. 25:02for introducing China into things like the World Trade Organization and attempting to normalize
  312. 25:11relations with him.
  313. 25:12Why didn't anybody after him do anything differently?
  314. 25:16Why?
  315. 25:18So I'm explaining this.
  316. 25:22I am still one who is a bit skeptical about kind of the transhumanism that undergirds many
  317. 25:31who are advocates for artificial intelligence.
  318. 25:35I know many of you heard the program we did Friday,
  319. 25:38talking about how China's feverish interest
  320. 25:44in using CRISPR to alter the human genome.
  321. 25:49And this is what they've said.
  322. 25:51This is not my opinion.
  323. 25:52This is what they've said.
  324. 25:54It's a concerning phenomenon.
  325. 25:58Now over the weekend, many of you might've heard
  326. 26:00about this news, this was concerning.
  327. 26:05At about 2 AM Sunday morning, members of the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania Bureau of Fire responded
  328. 26:12to the Pennsylvania Governor's Mansion.
  329. 26:15For what?
  330. 26:17A fire had started at the Pennsylvania's Governor's Mansion where Josh Shapiro and his family were.
  331. 26:26Josh Shapiro said, quote, my family and I woke up to bangs on the door from the Pennsylvania
  332. 26:30State Police after an arsonist set fire to the governor's residence in Harrisburg.
  333. 26:37quote. Police have now arrested a man whose named name is Cody bomber 38 years old. According
  334. 26:47to the arrest report, Cody bomber had developed hatred toward Josh Shapiro. He walked on foot
  335. 26:56over an hour to get to the Pennsylvania governor's mansion. He apparently made homemade Molotov
  336. 27:03cocktails and had a small hammer that he utilized after he climbed the exterior security fence,
  337. 27:09which I would simply ask how does a random dude climb
  338. 27:14the governor's man to security fence.
  339. 27:17In this day and age, guys, I'm just reporting to you
  340. 27:20what has been reported.
  341. 27:23I find that interesting.
  342. 27:25He used a hammer to break a window
  343. 27:28and threw in two homemade,
  344. 27:30according to the reports, Molotov cocktails.
  345. 27:33He had two bottles that he filled with gasoline,
  346. 27:35let them entossed him into the governor's man.
  347. 27:38According to the police, he was the suspect, Cody bomber was asked,
  348. 27:43what did you plan to do with if you found governor Shapiro?
  349. 27:46He's going to beat him with a hammer in quote.
  350. 27:52Now what's interesting to me, this is interesting to me.
  351. 27:55And I'm not trying to play any games, anything like that.
  352. 27:59But if you contrast the way that this dude who clearly,
  353. 28:06according to the reports, attempted to attack Josh Shapiro's home,
  354. 28:09contrast that with the dude who rolled up on just as Brett Kavanaugh's home with zip ties into
  355. 28:15You notice a little bit of difference in the way those two stories have been reported
  356. 28:19So which I just simply say why I think the why is obvious
  357. 28:25But I even want to say before you even get to the obvious reality of the wise that guys we're in it
  358. 28:30We're in a we're in a procurious. We're in a we're in a we're in a we're in a we're in a difficult state in the nation where you have
  359. 28:37have, you know, people who are attempting to deal with whatever they have going on to
  360. 28:42weather resorting to violence.
  361. 28:43All right.
  362. 28:46Violence is never the way that you communicate your opinion.
  363. 28:48If you don't like the governor, start a campaign to, you know, to oust him.
  364. 28:53Find out what your state laws are.
  365. 28:54Can you recall your governor, you know, help somebody run against him?
  366. 28:58Guys, that's just straight up evil.
  367. 29:00It's just straight up evil.
  368. 29:02And I also would simply say, why is our media so willingly in eager to talk about the details
  369. 29:07So what happened with Josh Shapiro's attacker
  370. 29:10and for people like Justice Kavanaugh,
  371. 29:12they were just describing dude as a protester.
  372. 29:14For how long?
  373. 29:16For how long?
  374. 29:18And then thirdly, I simply wanna say,
  375. 29:19when you have these kinds of things happening,
  376. 29:21this is why an appropriate system of justice is required
  377. 29:29because punitive measures must be taken in such a manner
  378. 29:34to where they deter further activities like this.
  379. 29:37Now, of course, as many of you might expect,
  380. 29:40This Mr. Ballmer's mother was interviewed.
  381. 29:42What do you think the first thing that she said
  382. 29:44was her son's problem?
  383. 29:46What do you think?
  384. 29:47What do y'all think?
  385. 29:51Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
  386. 29:52yes.
  387. 29:53He has he's mentally ill.
  388. 29:56He's mentally ill.
  389. 29:58That was the first response.
  390. 30:03He's mentally ill.
  391. 30:07That's another one.
  392. 30:08You know how I remember seeing on MSNBC
  393. 30:13when you had after President Trump was literally shot in the ear when the
  394. 30:20subsequent attempted murder transpired at the golf course, I literally saw people saying, oh, I wasn't attempted murders like dude has a rifle
  395. 30:28Pointed at the president after he'd just been shot
  396. 30:31You know, oh, you don't know that I'm for assassination to tell we don't really know if that's really really what it was
  397. 30:39I'm just like man. We we are in a we are in a strange place
  398. 30:43when
  399. 30:44You know political violence is being sanctioned and then you have the polls I talked about these last week
  400. 30:49You have the polls of people who are self-identified as left-leaning
  401. 30:54significant portions of them
  402. 30:56Okay, you're okay, but the trouble is assassinated
  403. 30:59Yeah, it'd be okay. Be a lot of musculous assassinated. I'm just like what has happened to us. It's happened to us as a society
  404. 31:10Yes, let's debate have reason disagreements, you know deep
  405. 31:17passionate disagreements
  406. 31:19about ideas and about policy, but violence is never the way
  407. 31:23to resolve political disagreement.
  408. 31:27I'm not talking about defending yourself.
  409. 31:29Someone attempts to attack you or your loved ones,
  410. 31:33someone attempting to destroy your property.
  411. 31:36I'm not talking about that.
  412. 31:38That's an entirely different category.
  413. 31:40I'm talking about you dislike a person
  414. 31:42because of their political positions.
  415. 31:45This is why it was insane to me.
  416. 31:46And, you know, oh, are you using to let bygones be bygones?
  417. 31:52When Smovit was unfolding, you have people literally saying,
  418. 31:55you are an evil person.
  419. 31:57If you have questions about the mRNA jab,
  420. 32:00you're an evil person.
  421. 32:02You are willing to destroy your family,
  422. 32:05to cease relationship with family members,
  423. 32:10about Smovit policies as evil, man.
  424. 32:16Now, what's the root of all of this?
  425. 32:17The scripture says, we're doing murders
  426. 32:19things like that germinate from, it starts in the heart, starts in the heart.
  427. 32:24And we have to be diligent to refuse to allow the lying media to cause us to be so whipped
  428. 32:34into a frenzy and having such a palpably biblically illiterate populace to where these emotional
  429. 32:42uprisings cause the vacuousness of our hearts to be brought to the fore to where political
  430. 32:48The whole virus becomes the result.
  431. 32:50That becomes what we resort to.
  432. 32:53It's unacceptable.
  433. 32:55It should be unacceptable.
  434. 32:59We need repentance in our nation.
  435. 33:02We'll open the phone lines when we come back
  436. 33:04with the other side of the spring.
  437. 33:11The Hamilton Quarter Podcast and One-Bitted Comment Terrence are available at eFR.net.
  438. 33:16Back to the Hamilton Quarter on American Family Radio.
  439. 33:20Welcome back to the Hamilton Corner, Abraham Hamilton III.
  440. 33:24Richard Dawkins is the guy's name.
  441. 33:26name is the atheist who debated John Linux John Linux is the Christian
  442. 33:30mathematician and the God delusion debate John Linux I want to be very kind here
  443. 33:37wipe the floor with Richard Dawkins which caused Richard Dawkins to admit oh
  444. 33:42well of course Jesus is a historical person and now that debate was all in 2008
  445. 33:48and now you have Richard Dawkins talking about he's a culture and the culture of
  446. 33:51Christian I much prefer like oh after you spent the last 20 years trying to
  447. 33:55the world that there's no God.
  448. 33:57Now you're like, I'm so sorry I did that.
  449. 33:59I much prefer.
  450. 34:03And he's not sorry he did it.
  451. 34:05He just sorry about the consequences of doing it.
  452. 34:08Anyway, it caused Dawkins to admit that we put
  453. 34:12in his book, The God Delusion, was a lie.
  454. 34:18That absolutely right, Jesus Christ is an historical person.
  455. 34:23But then you have the reality, as Josh McDowell puts
  456. 34:25in more than the carpenter,
  457. 34:27and employing the, uh, see, as Lewis, trivia, um, liar lunatic, a Lord.
  458. 34:38So once you cross the bridge, recognize Jesus is a historical person.
  459. 34:42Well, who did he claim himself to be?
  460. 34:44Jesus himself.
  461. 34:45Jesus claimed to be God.
  462. 34:49There's not another man in human history who claimed to be God.
  463. 34:54Buddha never claimed to be God.
  464. 34:56Christian never kind of claimed to be God.
  465. 34:57note he claimed to be God. So then you left with three choices. As C. S. Lewis put it in
  466. 35:04Josh McDowell expounded upon that and more than the carpenter, he's either a liar, he's either
  467. 35:10a lunatic or he's Lord. So the reality of Passover in the resurrection forces the world
  468. 35:24to confront that reality.
  469. 35:27As we come to the phone lines, what I want to ask of the callers just to have a moment
  470. 35:33just to share with us that as we are in Holy Week, heading towards what's commonly described
  471. 35:39as Good Friday and appointing towards Resurrection Sunday, what are you reflecting upon as we're
  472. 35:46doing so as we approach the reality of Resurrection Sunday? This is something that I strongly
  473. 35:55believe should be celebrated as a high point of our year. I want to invite our audience just
  474. 36:03to share if you're willing to what you are reflecting on. What are you reflecting upon
  475. 36:09reflect reflecting on as we approach. And as we are celebrating our Lord's resurrection.
  476. 36:14And this is something frankly that I think should be a daily celebration, but I also think it's
  477. 36:18worth celebrating this reality. And even as the scripture commands as we celebrate the
  478. 36:26Lord's table as the believers celebrate the Lord's table, we do so in recognition of what
  479. 36:32has transpired in the sinless sacrificial death in the toning death of our Messiah in anticipation
  480. 36:42of his return. You see, that it is a celebration that is reflective, but is also prospective
  481. 36:51in anticipating what is to come. I just, you kind of get an idea what I'm reflecting on,
  482. 36:57but I want to see what you are reflecting on as resurrection, our Lord's resurrection,
  483. 37:03the world is being confronted with that reality. As we do so a couple points, I think I mentioned this,
  484. 37:10but I want to make sure everybody's aware. Former presidential candidate, former governor of Arkansas,
  485. 37:19Mike Huckabee was confirmed as a US ambassador to Israel. He was confirmed. And let me give the
  486. 37:27number for those of you who want to call in, we're open to the phone lines now. It's 888589840
  487. 37:35The number to call is 888-589-8840.
  488. 37:39I'm inviting you just to share with us what you are reflecting on as we are really celebrating
  489. 37:49the Messiah's incarnation and his sinless life, his atoning sacrificial death and his resurrection.
  490. 37:59And all of these things point us toward his return.
  491. 38:05What are you reflecting on?
  492. 38:06888-589-8840 is the number to call 888-589-8840 is the number to call a bit of good news.
  493. 38:19U.S. Special Envoy Adam Bowler announced that Robert Vieira, who is an American who was operating
  494. 38:27as a missionary in Tunisia, who was detained in Tunisia 13 months ago, 13 months ago,
  495. 38:35the suspicion of espionage, suspicion of espionage. He has been released. The Trump administration
  496. 38:43has secured Robert Vieira's release. And so he is en route back home to America. And we
  497. 38:52are grateful for that thankful for that phone number again is 888-589-8840. We'll begin.
  498. 39:02Are we ready?
  499. 39:06We're not ready yet, okay.
  500. 39:08All right, 888-589-8840 is the number to call.
  501. 39:13If you would like to join the program,
  502. 39:14you're welcome to do so.
  503. 39:16So many people are reflecting on the fact
  504. 39:22in opining whether Trump's tears are working.
  505. 39:27And I would simply say to everybody,
  506. 39:30wait and see is the best approach.
  507. 39:32But the willingness to take on China
  508. 39:34is something that's commendable.
  509. 39:35It's laudable in my estimation.
  510. 39:37But the reality is that a lot of the other things
  511. 39:42that the Trump administration is accomplishing
  512. 39:43are being overshadowed, like for example, for example,
  513. 39:49the border.
  514. 39:50You know, you had lots of people in President Trump said this
  515. 39:55and it's joined the address to Congress a couple months ago.
  516. 39:58There are a lot of people saying that
  517. 39:59in order to address what's going on at the border,
  518. 40:02we have to have this law passed, we have to have this past,
  519. 40:04we have to these things passed,
  520. 40:06which President Trump said, it seems like all we need
  521. 40:08was a new president because with the re-institution of the Trump era executive actions, the illegal
  522. 40:15entrance has dropped almost to zero.
  523. 40:18Now you've heard me say and I agree, I agree that we need congressional actions to make many
  524. 40:26of President Trump's executive actions permanent, but you don't have to have Congress to get the
  525. 40:33stuff going in the right direction.
  526. 40:36It is true once the Democrat party recognized how much of a political issue the immigration
  527. 40:44had become which to my estimates, why how could you not know it was an issue.
  528. 40:49Things changed toward the very end of the Biden administration because they put back into place
  529. 40:53some of the Trump era policies.
  530. 40:55But you've we've gone from being massively overrun by illegal immigrants to it being almost
  531. 41:01zero at the border.
  532. 41:02in terms of illegal border entry, almost zero.
  533. 41:06And that's intentional.
  534. 41:09And that is intentional.
  535. 41:13All right, you guys let me know when we're ready,
  536. 41:14just give me a thumbs up if we have something that's ready.
  537. 41:17Okay, all right.
  538. 41:18So with the intentional activity of the Trump administration,
  539. 41:23it's become clear, clear that all we needed
  540. 41:27was a different president.
  541. 41:29And a lot of those successes are going unreported
  542. 41:31because frankly people who are opponents of President Trump,
  543. 41:34that they need something to fixate on so they don't want to talk about things that are positive.
  544. 41:41It's a sad sad reality. But to the phone lines we go, we'll start in Oklahoma where Ladonna is on the line.
  545. 41:49I don't know why is this not working guys. I might need y'all to put Ladonna on.
  546. 41:54Ladonna from Oklahoma. Thank you for calling the Hamilton Corner. Welcome to the program.
  547. 41:59Well, thank you for having me and I really enjoy your show.
  548. 42:03And I just called to tell you that I am celebrating not just Holy Week, but I have
  549. 42:07watched God's goodness over the last year where he saved all my grandkids.
  550. 42:11And yesterday on a Palm Sunday, my seven year old granddaughter was that
  551. 42:16time after she was saved a couple of weeks before, but she was so excited.
  552. 42:20She jumped up on the floor and she got up to days and days.
  553. 42:24And she just loves the Lord and she understands what's going on.
  554. 42:28And Jesus died on the cross.
  555. 42:29her favorite song is that calls my name and I ran up out of that grave and she got the exercise
  556. 42:36that I saw the world yesterday so I'm calling to celebrate that she had it done on the time
  557. 42:41that she will always remember that Palm Sunday was the day that she showed the world her profession
  558. 42:46of faith. Oh, I just want to thank you for your show. Oh, thank you so much for your call and your
  559. 42:52comments. Oh, this warms my heart so much so it warms my heart, man. You know, I reflect on the
  560. 42:59the Apostle John's writings from my own family.
  561. 43:03I have no greater joy than to know that my children
  562. 43:06are walking in the truth.
  563. 43:07And what an amazing, an amazing phenomenon to celebrate,
  564. 43:14but to be able to do so in such a memorable fashion.
  565. 43:17Thank you for sharing that with us.
  566. 43:19And also thank you for your encouragement
  567. 43:21concerning the program.
  568. 43:22Let's go next to Mississippi,
  569. 43:23where Elizabeth is on the line.
  570. 43:25Elizabeth, thank you for calling the Hamilton Corner.
  571. 43:27Welcome to the program.
  572. 43:30Thank you. I would say as I drive home from my part time job, as you say, I'm reflecting
  573. 43:39on the fact that Jesus had six trials, three religious and three civil, and the whole time
  574. 43:46that that was going on, basically they were inspecting our past plans. And he was found
  575. 43:53to be without blemish. And again, I just, I just, I'm so thankful and grateful for what
  576. 43:59Dolly and do or just for all of us.
  577. 44:02Elizabeth, if I had a pocket organ,
  578. 44:04I'll be playing it right now.
  579. 44:06You know, because the Passover,
  580. 44:08when it's instituted in the book of Exodus,
  581. 44:09it wasn't just a lamb that was to be offered,
  582. 44:11but it was a spotless, unblemished lamb.
  583. 44:17And you are explaining the trials,
  584. 44:20including these illegal civil trials.
  585. 44:22I'm not supposed to take place
  586. 44:23during Passover at nighttime like it is.
  587. 44:27that they found no fault in him confirming the fact that the lamb that was once and for all
  588. 44:35slain for the sins of mankind was in fact a spotless lamb. Thank you for sharing that. I am um
  589. 44:44and you guys really really really are stirring me up and thank you for listening to the program too
  590. 44:49um as you do so as you transition to your part time job that's right as I would describe it.
  591. 44:53Let's go next to believe this is Louisiana where Debbie is on the line.
  592. 44:57Debbie in Louisiana. Thank you for calling the Hamilton Corner. Welcome to the program.
  593. 45:02Oh, thank you so much for talking about call. I love your program. I listen to it every day. I can.
  594. 45:08And, you know, I just want to say to reflect on Holy Week, it's just that it is set apart
  595. 45:16everything from, you know, when he was arrested up until he was crucified.
  596. 45:24We were born and sinned. God loved us so much that he sent his son to die for us.
  597. 45:33And it's just, it just gives you chill bumps. And it's just a beautiful, beautiful thing that Jesus has done for us.
  598. 45:45Hmm so well said that be thank you for calling and sharing that and with all of us
  599. 45:50We'll go next to I believe this is Iowa where Marty is there not isn't a Marty Sparks is in the screening room
  600. 46:01But I'm not as good as him so I just appreciated
  601. 46:09I loved how you brought up the two on the road to a mass and
  602. 46:13And sometimes we can have catastrophic things happening in our lives.
  603. 46:22And yet how Christ, He's still there for us in my family and I've been in Psalm 103 and
  604. 46:28it says, for He knows how we are formed.
  605. 46:32He remembers that we are dust.
  606. 46:35And as for man, his days are like grass.
  607. 46:37He flourishes like a flower of the field.
  608. 46:40The wind blows over it and it is gone.
  609. 46:42That's what this week, there's a date coming.
  610. 46:49When Abe, I doubt I'll ever meet you on this earth,
  611. 46:52but I'm gonna live with you forever.
  612. 46:54And it is so exciting to think of the other great
  613. 46:58Christian brothers and sisters around this globe.
  614. 47:02But especially on the airwaves, I love you guys.
  615. 47:05You guys are incredible and you encourage me every day.
  616. 47:09Marty, thank you for that, man.
  617. 47:11Thank you for sharing that.
  618. 47:13And for that encouragement and the statement that you made is so true.
  619. 47:17So if we never meet here on this side of eternity, we are going to live together forever.
  620. 47:25When we stop and consider transcendent eternal truths like that, it changes everything about
  621. 47:32how we should interact and reflect, I'm sorry, interact with one another and allow the eternal
  622. 47:37truths that we are discussing to inform how we engage.
  623. 47:40It makes such these temporal things so silly.
  624. 47:43If that is the case, which it is, that we are going to live together forever, why would
  625. 47:49we allow trifling, small things to intrude upon what we're going to enjoy forever?
  626. 47:55Man, it's just thrilling.
  627. 48:00It's thrilling.
  628. 48:02And to know that though we see through a glass dark darkly now, dimly now, we will with unveiled
  629. 48:08face behold the glory of our King, Messiah, and be able to converse with all of the saints
  630. 48:14throughout human history, man.
  631. 48:15It's one of the things that lights up my life.
  632. 48:18And because that is true,
  633. 48:20to say it in the words of Francis Shaver,
  634. 48:22how then shall we live now?
  635. 48:25The daily activities that we pursue,
  636. 48:27the way we interact with people,
  637. 48:29day in, day out should be informed
  638. 48:31by the eternal truths we profess, to believe.
  639. 48:37You all have a great evening.
  640. 48:38Lord willing, we'll be back later this week.
