  13. 0:51Good evening everyone.
  14. 0:57Welcome to Day 2 of the Spring 2025 Sharethon.
  15. 1:02My name is Abraham Hamilton the third.
  16. 1:04I am the host of this program.
  17. 1:07I'm already warmed up because I was here starting at four o'clock and we are rocking in rocking
  18. 1:12and rolling the number to call to make your gift for share.
  19. 1:17on is 877-616-2396. That number again is 877-616-2396, or you can give securely online
  20. 1:31at afr.net. That is afr.net. Thank you so much for tuning in to the program. At this
  21. 1:38very moment, many of you, if not most of you are transitioning from your part-time jobs,
  22. 1:44Where you generate an income to your full-time jobs where you cultivate an outcome and as you do so
  23. 1:49I want to remind you as is our custom that what goes on in your house is far more important than what goes on in
  24. 1:57The White House is interesting. We got the announcement from the White House today about hmm. We're gonna press pause
  25. 2:04on
  26. 2:04terrorist for all
  27. 2:06of the tariff nations except for
  28. 2:10Jaina
  29. 2:11Jaina
  30. 2:13Came from China. What can I say it came from?
  31. 2:16China
  32. 2:18Which had an?
  33. 2:20Amplification of tariffs there we get into that in a moment, but we've but before we do that we have to turn
  34. 2:28To God's word again the numbers 8 7 7 6 1 6 2 3 9 6 that is the number to call 8 7 7 6 1 6 2 3 9 6
  35. 2:38or you can give securely online at aFR.net.
  36. 2:43That is AFR.net.
  37. 2:46That is for American family radio.
  38. 2:48And when I say securely, I mean securely.
  39. 2:50I walk by the server room and route to the studio today,
  40. 2:558, 7, 7, 6, 1, 6, 2, 3, 9, 6.
  41. 3:00The first human institution that got established
  42. 3:02was the family.
  43. 3:03Before you get to modern iterations of civil government,
  44. 3:06before you get to orders of prophets and priests.
  45. 3:09God establishes the family first.
  46. 3:11He does that on purpose.
  47. 3:13We here are American family radio
  48. 3:16because the simple truth is we will never be able to
  49. 3:19out politic, out vote or out church frankly,
  50. 3:23the deficiencies that abound in the home.
  51. 3:26If we wanna see things change in America,
  52. 3:29they have to change first at the individual
  53. 3:31and at the familial level.
  54. 3:33That is the simple truth.
  55. 3:35And that is why we remind you daily that what goes on in your house is far more important
  56. 3:40than what goes on in the White House.
  57. 3:42You know, sometimes we have some folks, frankly, who work extra shifts because they're hiding
  58. 3:46from their homes.
  59. 3:47Well, we don't want you to have to hide from your homes.
  60. 3:49And if there are adjustments that need to be made, we want to boldly, confidently and
  61. 3:53courageously make those adjustments.
  62. 3:57It takes integrity and humility to change course when we know changing course is in order.
  63. 4:04six one six two three nine six is the number to call or you can go to a fr.net make your
  64. 4:12players right there at a fr.net. There's a site available for you there. It's share
  65. 4:18thama. We still are going to turn to the word of God. Proverbs chapter two is where
  66. 4:22I'd like to direct your attention today. Proverbs chapter two versus one through seven.
  67. 4:27It's amazing what's provided here. Wisdom is personified in this text. This particular
  68. 4:34portion of scripture. It takes on the persona of a father conveying to his son instruction.
  69. 4:42And this is what the Word of God says. Proverbs chapter 2 verse 1, it says this, my son, if
  70. 4:47you receive my words and treasure up my commandments with you, making your ear attentive to wisdom
  71. 4:55and inclining your heart to understanding. Yes, if you call out for insight and raise your
  72. 5:01voice for understanding. If you seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasure,
  73. 5:08then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.
  74. 5:14For the Lord gives wisdom from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. He stores up
  75. 5:20up, sound wisdom for the upright. He is a shield to those who walk in integrity. Oh,
  76. 5:32God, thank you so much for your holy word. The simple truth is brothers and sisters that
  77. 5:37wisdom should be cherished and pursued at a higher clip than riches. Now, I know that
  78. 5:46makes no sense to those who may not understand the Lord's word, who may not understand this.
  79. 5:51But one of the major benefits of having God's word is that you have the counsel of
  80. 5:56Omniscience the omniscient one all knowing one
  81. 6:00Who's available to us and notice the admonition in the text if you receive my words?
  82. 6:07Guess what's being presented there that the possibility exists that wisdom is available yet. It is not received
  83. 6:14Wisdom is available yet. It is not pursued wisdom is available, but it is rejected
  84. 6:22But this wisdom is available.
  85. 6:25Then the text goes on to say, not only receive my words, but to treasure up my
  86. 6:31commandments, whose commandments, the commandments of wisdom, whose words, the
  87. 6:35words of wisdom, where are the words of wisdom found in God's holy word?
  88. 6:42If you not only receive my words, but treasure, place appropriate value, appropriate
  89. 6:48estimation on this wisdom. Then verse two, amplifies the proper positioning and
  90. 6:55approach to wisdom, making your ear attentive. Notice it is the opportunity
  91. 7:01and the availability of the sun and a responsive posture to make his ear
  92. 7:06attentive to wisdom. Having been exposed to it, having been introduced to it, we
  93. 7:11then incline our ears, make our ears attentive to wisdom. Verse three, if you
  94. 7:18call out for insight. You see this, this crescendo, this intensification of commitment and investment
  95. 7:23on the part of the sun. It goes from receipt, receiving words to treasuring commandments, to making
  96. 7:29ones irretentive, to inclining your heart to understanding. And now it's calling out for insight.
  97. 7:35I need it, Lord. I want it, Lord. That ramping up is appropriate when you recognize the outsized
  98. 7:42value for wisdom. Raise your voice for understanding if you seek it like silver is what verse four says.
  99. 7:49If you seek it like silver, one of the major benefits of being in Christ is that Christ
  100. 7:56transforms our minds. Romans 12, 1 and 2 to the believer, the Lord said through the Apostle Paul,
  101. 8:02do not be conformed to this world. Be transformed by what the renewing of your mind. One of the major
  102. 8:08benefits of having a renewed mind is that you have a new newly established valuation system,
  103. 8:16newly established value system, things that you used to find valuable, things that you used to
  104. 8:21be used as worthy of your time investment, things that you used to be used to be used to be used
  105. 8:24to be the same way. I was talking to a person not too long ago and they said, yeah, you know,
  106. 8:30when I was young, you know, I placed a lot of value on riding the nicest cars and having the
  107. 8:35the nicest clothes and having the nicest accessories and having these things.
  108. 8:39And now that I'm more mature and more wise, I realize that not only do I have a
  109. 8:43different value system, but I recognize those things weren't as valuable as I
  110. 8:48thought they were.
  111. 8:49Here I am now.
  112. 8:50This person was in their 50s.
  113. 8:52Here I am now in my 50s, looking at myself in my 20s and 30s and shaking my head.
  114. 8:58Recognizing that, oh, if I had only had open eyes, then how much better off would I be?
  115. 9:03guys, as it is, that is an example of what I'm talking about, having the proper valuation
  116. 9:08for wisdom. The text goes on. If you not only seek you like silver, but if you search for
  117. 9:14it like hidden treasures, then you will understand the fear of the Lord. Then you will find the
  118. 9:23knowledge of God. Verse 6, for the Lord gives wisdom. Who is the source of wisdom? The Lord
  119. 9:30is the source of wisdom.
  120. 9:32One of the major reasons why we're doing this,
  121. 9:34Sharathon, and invited you to call 877-616-2396,
  122. 9:39because you can get commentary on news items
  123. 9:43or on historical stories.
  124. 9:45You know, the mark of our podcast is oversaturated,
  125. 9:49but you know what you won't find very often?
  126. 9:52A place that is publicly willing to continuously
  127. 9:56point our culture back to scripture.
  128. 9:58you won't find a place that is continuously willing to say,
  129. 10:00I don't care what the ACLU says,
  130. 10:03I don't care what the Biden administration says,
  131. 10:04there's no such thing as 153 different so-called genders.
  132. 10:09I don't care what, you know, that Wicked Marxist
  133. 10:13organization run by pagan spiritists,
  134. 10:16there's Black Lives Matter, all lives matter.
  135. 10:19There's no such thing as multiple races of human beings.
  136. 10:23And if you really believe Black Lives Matter,
  137. 10:25do you think they matter in the womb?
  138. 10:27Does it matter?
  139. 10:28When you have babies that are being slaughtered
  140. 10:29on the streets of American inner cities,
  141. 10:33oh, before I can express whether or not I care,
  142. 10:35I need to know who did the slaughtering.
  143. 10:36That's partiality.
  144. 10:38The Bible goes as sin.
  145. 10:39You care nothing about the loss of human life.
  146. 10:42All you care about is if whether or not
  147. 10:44you can gin up public fermentation
  148. 10:46based on the skin color of the participants.
  149. 10:49That's evil.
  150. 10:50That's not just wrong.
  151. 10:52That's not just a difference of opinion.
  152. 10:53That is evil.
  153. 10:56It's your compassion.
  154. 10:57You wait to determine whether or not you have compassion
  155. 11:00for a fellow image bearer of God,
  156. 11:02because you need to know what's the skin color
  157. 11:04of the person involved.
  158. 11:06Guys, that's evil.
  159. 11:07And so having a place where we can convey first,
  160. 11:10having digested the wisdom of God,
  161. 11:12then having the willingness to convey that publicly,
  162. 11:14that is what you're supporting when you call 877-616-2396.
  163. 11:19When you make your pledge at aFR.net,
  164. 11:22getting back to the text, verse six,
  165. 11:23for the Lord gives wisdom from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.
  166. 11:29If you ever had any questions, as I'm talking about, get wisdom, incline your
  167. 11:33ear to understanding, treasure up the commandments of wisdom, receive the words
  168. 11:37of wisdom, it is available to us in God's Holy Word.
  169. 11:41It is an indictment upon us if we have Bibles, but they're dust collectors.
  170. 11:45It's an indictment upon us if our Bibles are nothing but, but accessories on
  171. 11:50in tables. The wisdom of God is available to us, hence the very first verse, my son, if you receive
  172. 11:57wisdom. It's not an automatic. Incontrated popular practice, wisdom is not the product of
  173. 12:04years spent on the Lord's earth. No wisdom grows and develops by a combination of years spent on
  174. 12:10the Lord's earth and submission to the authority and the applicability of His Word. For the Lord
  175. 12:18gives wisdom from his mouth, come knowledge and understanding. He stores up sound wisdom
  176. 12:23for the upright. He's a shield to those who walk in integrity. That is one of the major benefits
  177. 12:31of being a laser guy that he's seeking for sure of wisdom that God himself is a shield to those
  178. 12:38who walk in integrity. That means we won't face difficulties in his life. We will, but we're able
  179. 12:41would do so with the shield, you know, the shield doesn't, doesn't keep Azariah, Hananiah,
  180. 12:47and Mishaiah from Fire Refurnis, but they're in the Fire Refurnis. They went in bound, but
  181. 12:51guess what? They're in there walking around and I thought we put three in there. But now
  182. 12:56we see four in the fourth one. Looks like the son of God. Guys, that is what is available
  183. 13:01to you. And that is what we want to continue to proclaim through this network. 877-616-2396

  193. 13:58stop and grace as a product of Brother Don's vision
  194. 14:01and then the commitment of leadership following Brother Don
  195. 14:03is that the ministry has been able to remain debt-free.
  196. 14:06Early in the week, they talked about the scripture,
  197. 14:08they said the borrower is a slave to the lender.
  198. 14:11It has been an inestible blessing to this ministry
  199. 14:14and enables us to be stewards of the resources
  200. 14:17that God invests in this ministry
  201. 14:19that were not spending it on debt interest payments.
  202. 14:22No contrary to the government,
  203. 14:24we don't have interest payments

  217. 15:04Buddy Smith, Senior Vice President
  218. 15:06of the American Family Association.
  219. 15:08The war against Biblical principles rages
  220. 15:11on numerous fronts, the internet, Hollywood,
  221. 15:14Washington DC, America's corporate boardrooms,
  222. 15:18and the list goes on.
  223. 15:19At American Family Association,
  224. 15:21we're committed to standing against
  225. 15:24the enemies of God, the enemies of your family.
  226. 15:27And we recognize it's an impossible task

  234. 15:49And may he give us many victories in the battles ahead

  236. 16:23give online at aFR.net. It's founder's day on American family radio.
  237. 16:32Welcome back to the Hamilton Corner Sharethon edition day two of the spring 2025
  238. 16:37share on again the number to make your pledge is eight seven seven six one six
  239. 16:42two three nine six that numbers eight seven seven six one six two three nine
  240. 16:48six. I am personally grateful for the Hamilton Corner listeners that are calling
  241. 16:53now we have people standing by to receive your call and share a ton central.
  242. 16:58You won't get a recording.
  243. 16:59It won't be anything automated.
  244. 17:00You won't get anybody from another nation whose name is probably about four or five syllables,
  245. 17:06but they'll tell you this is John.
  246. 17:07You won't get that when you call 877-616-239-6, or you can get securely online at aFR.net.
  247. 17:16That is AFR.net.
  248. 17:18net. Now today, one of the major things that happened, the announcement came earlier in
  249. 17:23the day first, President Trump posted it on Truth Social, and then the press secretary of
  250. 17:29Caroline Levitt gave a statement, and then the news just ran like wildfire all across the
  251. 17:34country. It led to a major surge on Wall Street. Frankly, the morning started off well on Wall
  252. 17:40Street, actually, which is so, so interesting to see. President Trump announced among things
  253. 17:47that there are over 75 nations that have called that are seeking negotiations concerning the
  254. 17:54terrorists. But there's one outlier. Y'all want to guess what it is? China China in light
  255. 18:02of the things that are transpiring President Trump announced a 90 day which he called a
  256. 18:06pause on social media, but it's not effectively a pause across the board as a reduction of all
  257. 18:12of tears to 10% for all the donations he said who did not retaliate against his tariff announcements,
  258. 18:19but it includes an increased tariff against China to 125% on all goods that would be shipped
  259. 18:29to this country from China. Many Americans don't realize almost half of China's exports
  260. 18:34are sent right here to the United States of America.
  261. 18:37I got to have more cowbell almost half. You know, at close to the 40% of the country,
  262. 18:42about 39.7% or so are sent here.
  263. 18:46And you probably can imagine China exports a whole lot more to us than we export to them.
  264. 18:53In fact, we export almost nothing to China.
  265. 18:57They export almost everything to us in the process of stealing American companies intellectual
  266. 19:03property, stealing their, the good services, our companies put manufacturing facilities
  267. 19:08in China or in Vietnam or in Bangladesh or somewhere else.
  268. 19:11what it's trying to do, go and steal the intellectual product, create these low paying
  269. 19:15manufacturing jobs in China, and they literally make American knockoff products, sell them
  270. 19:21domestically to their own citizens.
  271. 19:24And they also export some of them.
  272. 19:26And they even just announced recently, yeah, we're going to continue to do it.
  273. 19:29They put it as policy and published it that will continue to steal your products.
  274. 19:33Let me remind you the number to call for Sheraton to make your pledge is 877-616-2396.
  275. 19:40number again is 877-616-2396. When you call, you are supporting the continued communication
  276. 19:48of unvarnished truth in our culture. 87616-2396 is the number to call, or you can give securely
  277. 19:57online by going to aFR.net. I want to play for you now and show you for those who are watching
  278. 20:03the program, a clip of press secretary, no, not the press secretary, but you have a commentator
  279. 20:12discussing the tariff pause and the ramped up tariff against China. Listen to and watch
  280. 20:18clip number one go.
  281. 20:20Yeah, Tom, it's an extraordinary bit of governing by social media posts less than a day after
  282. 20:25these tariffs global in nature went into effect on trading partners around the world. The president
  283. 20:30says he is pausing or substantially reducing most of them a 90 day pause.
  284. 20:35His language is unclear, but it suggests that for most countries, the 75 or so who've
  285. 20:39either reached out to him or not retaliated against the United States since his tariff
  286. 20:44order will see their tariffs either pause for 90 days or reduce to that 10% flat rate for
  287. 20:49that time.
  288. 20:50In the same post, he says that he is substantially raising the tariff rate on goods from China
  289. 20:55to 125%.
  290. 20:56So you heard it there, folks, and I told you guys I wasn't going to come out swinging against
  291. 21:03President Trump on the whole tear thing.
  292. 21:05I have not have not been a fan of terrorists, but I have said, and I will continue to say
  293. 21:11in the last 50 years, there's been one president and frankly one head of state.
  294. 21:15There's not been a head of state in the world that has been willing to take on China until
  295. 21:19President Donald John Trump expresses willingness to take on China.
  296. 21:24Now the way he rolled it out, I wouldn't have done it that way.
  297. 21:27There's some things I would have done first.
  298. 21:28I told you yesterday about deregulation and establishing
  299. 21:32permanency concerning our taxation,
  300. 21:35tax rate cuts in our country.
  301. 21:37But nevertheless, the president is done what he's done.
  302. 21:41Right?
  303. 21:42And we've now reached a point to where I believe
  304. 21:46the ultimate objective is in crystal clear focus,
  305. 21:50an objective that every American kid can get on board with,
  306. 21:53that the target all along was China,
  307. 21:57that we cannot continue to have them ripping off American companies intellectual property.
  308. 22:01We cannot have them continuing shipping their cheaply made products into our country, hollowing
  309. 22:07out our manufacturing sector.
  310. 22:11China has been robbing the world, enriching itself, and consuming anything largely from
  311. 22:18any other nation.
  312. 22:19China is not an importing nation.
  313. 22:22You have others saying that the China terrorists should go all the way up to 400 percent because
  314. 22:26they are ripping the world off and enriching themselves while in the same process building,
  315. 22:31you know, this atheist antichrist, communist army, you know, this is what they're doing.
  316. 22:37And so now that is in crystal clear focus. This is of the every American regardless of
  317. 22:41political persuasion can get behind the same country that launched the Wuhan flu on the
  318. 22:47world, the same country that is raking nations over the colds, companies over the colds. That
  319. 22:53is one of the primary contributors to the creation
  320. 22:57of what we now know as the American Rust Belt,
  321. 22:59it is appropriate to train our focus on China.
  322. 23:03For years, China has already declared they are at war with us.
  323. 23:07The United States of America, they have sought to de-establish us
  324. 23:13as the pre-imminant superpower in the world.
  325. 23:16They want our smart, they've been saying this for years.
  326. 23:19I told you before, let's not learn from the block.
  327. 23:21You can say you ain't in a fight,
  328. 23:22but if somebody is punching you in the face,
  329. 23:24You're in a fight whether you wanna be or not.
  330. 23:27And that's what's been happening.
  331. 23:28On every front except kinetic warfare.
  332. 23:34Nobody wants kinetic warfare,
  333. 23:36but China's been at war with us for quite some time.
  334. 23:38And what kind of foolish nation would we be
  335. 23:42to continue a lower nation that is at war with us
  336. 23:44according to their own declarations
  337. 23:46to continue to enrich themselves at our expense?
  338. 23:49That's like me saying, hey Bobby,
  339. 23:50you know by the way I hate your guts.
  340. 23:53And I wanna take over your home,
  341. 23:54but you keep paying me money to do so.
  342. 23:57What kind of fooling sense is that?
  343. 23:58Now y'all know I love Bobby, y'all.
  344. 24:00You know, an example of a serious crisis to go to waste.
  345. 24:05That's funny, Bobby.
  346. 24:06That's funny.
  347. 24:07So it is crystal clear, pause on tariffs
  348. 24:10for every other nation.
  349. 24:13Over 75 nations have expressed their willingness
  350. 24:15to come to the negotiating table.
  351. 24:17President Trump said he is a rewarding nation
  352. 24:19who didn't try to retaliate against us.
  353. 24:21I don't know how accurate that is
  354. 24:22because other nations did express their retaliatory intent.
  355. 24:25However, they enjoy a pause on Terrace as well.
  356. 24:29But I think the main focus was China all along
  357. 24:31and it should have been.
  358. 24:33And for the first time in over half century,
  359. 24:36we have an American president
  360. 24:37that's willing to take China on.
  361. 24:38Nobody wants kinetic warfare,
  362. 24:40but we cannot continue to allow China to steal
  363. 24:43from us, steal our country blind
  364. 24:46and then flood our nation with their cheaply made goods.
  365. 24:49I said before, I said it yesterday,
  366. 24:51when I was a child, I would go to the store and my dad,
  367. 24:54I'd pick up something from Walmart or somewhere
  368. 24:56My dad would say, hey, what was that made?
  369. 25:00You know, that is, this is gonna be,
  370. 25:01I put that back, that's junk.
  371. 25:03We don't buy it unless it says made in America.
  372. 25:05Now my children don't know anything
  373. 25:07about finding items that are made in America.
  374. 25:10And I'll add this in, the largest contributing factor
  375. 25:13to that has been Wall Street, one of the largest.
  376. 25:17But notice, and I've said to these guys
  377. 25:19that said this to you guys yesterday,
  378. 25:21what the stock market wants is stability.
  379. 25:23You know, no matter, look, just tell me
  380. 25:25how you're calling the game, ref.
  381. 25:26Is it gonna be, you're gonna call it tight?
  382. 25:28You know, you're gonna call it, follow me.
  383. 25:30If my shoes get untied, just call it both ways.
  384. 25:33Or if you're gonna let us play like the 1990s bad boy
  385. 25:36Pistons, I just need it to be consistent.
  386. 25:39And so now you have a bit of consistency announced
  387. 25:42and look what happened in the stock market.
  388. 25:44Realize immediately.
  389. 25:46Guys, that's what's going on.
  390. 25:47And here's the other thing, and then I'm gonna get back
  391. 25:50to discussing Sharethon and some listening testimonies.
  392. 25:54China is dependent upon exports.
  393. 25:58America is not.
  394. 25:59It may be a little difficulty temporarily, but we are equipped to endure far longer than
  395. 26:07China's equipped to endure.
  396. 26:09And Xi Jinping can only be the communist dictator he wants to be if his people are employed.
  397. 26:15But if the United States of America ain't buying those cheaply made Chinese goods, guess
  398. 26:19what's going to happen to those people?
  399. 26:22I'm just telling you that's just the truth.
  400. 26:25Not to even mention, do I need to mention that there are over 3,000 companies in America
  401. 26:29that are that are that have ownership from the Communist Party in China?
  402. 26:32Did I mention that?
  403. 26:33Do I need to mention the quantity of Chinese interested entities that are purchasing land right next to our American military bases?
  404. 26:41Do I need to mention all of that?
  405. 26:44How foolish would we be to continue a lot of these things to happen?
  406. 26:48I'm grateful for President Trump has taken them on.
  407. 26:50And so now we have clear.
  408. 26:52We have clarity as what's going on with tree.
  409. 26:55Everybody else pause on the tariffs 10%.
  410. 26:59We still want y'all to make it right, boss, but we're talking 75 plus countries.
  411. 27:03We're talking but you read China. Nah, nah, it's time for you to be isolated. You can't sit at the
  412. 27:10table no more. You can't sit at the table anymore because you are lying and thieving nation.
  413. 27:18And I don't mean that as a pejorative. I mean that based on what they have done. 8776162396
  414. 27:26is the number to call 8776162396. We are in the throes of Sheraton. This is day two of our spring
  415. 27:352025, Sherathon. Let's take a moment and listen to a testimony from a fellow AFR listener. Go.
  416. 27:43My name is Michael and I got arrested in 1985 and I got out in 2006. For many years,
  417. 27:54I had lived a wildlife and after I got arrested, I got saved and I got into my Bible and just
  418. 28:00started listening to Christian Radio and TV and American Family Radio and it has blessed me,
  419. 28:08strengthened me and was there for me through the hard times. It is something that God has used
  420. 28:15and I recommend it highly. Don't be afraid to give unto it because you will be blessed to
  421. 28:23have a great wonderful life in Christ Jesus and don't turn no matter what, stay strong in Jesus.
  422. 28:29Wow. Oh man. What a testimony. 877-616-239-6 is a number to call. One of the things that
  423. 28:38you guys may not know about me, but for a long time in New Orleans, I did prison ministry
  424. 28:44with the elder in our church in Orleans who was over the prison ministry. And one of the
  425. 28:48things that's a frequently spoken term in prison ministry is called jailhouse religion.
  426. 28:54That is when a person during their time of incarceration, they express a conversion to
  427. 28:59Christianity, but if and when they're released, they leave their Christianity in the jail when
  428. 29:05they exit the jail, you know, or the prison.
  429. 29:07Now, you just heard a testimony for a brother.
  430. 29:09This brother said he got arrested in 1984.
  431. 29:11What'd he say?
  432. 29:13Eighty-five?
  433. 29:14Nineteen eighty-five.
  434. 29:15And he's calling now in the twenty-first century to talk about having given his life to
  435. 29:20the Lord after his arrest and how he's continuing to endeavor to serve the Lord now and how AFR
  436. 29:27has been a tool that God has used to aid him
  437. 29:29in continuing to walk the straight, narrow path.
  438. 29:32Those kinds of testimonies, oh man.
  439. 29:36Those kinds of testimonies, warm my heart.
  440. 29:40Those kind of testimonies warm my heart.
  441. 29:42And when you support the Ministry of American Family Radio,
  442. 29:46you are contributing to allowing those kind of testimonies
  443. 29:49to take place.
  444. 29:50How often, like I said, with the recidivism rate
  445. 29:52that we have in our nation, people who get jailhouse religion,
  446. 29:55but don't have sustaining capacity,
  447. 29:57but you just heard a testimony of a brother
  448. 29:59of his own volition, who would call him publicly declared,
  449. 30:02not only as he continued to walk on the straight and narrow,
  450. 30:05but God has used American Family Radio as a tool to aid him
  451. 30:09in that commitment.
  452. 30:10I mean, that is, I mean, I'm sorry, that's worth every penny.
  453. 30:14You know, that's worth every penny.
  454. 30:16You know, when I made the adjustment
  455. 30:17and I made some sacrifices to join
  456. 30:20the American Family Association,
  457. 30:22but those kind of testimonies are worth it.
  458. 30:25877-616-2396 is the number to call,
  459. 30:30or you can give securely online at aFR.net,
  460. 30:33aFR.net.
  461. 30:35One of the things that I'm so grateful to God
  462. 30:38to have been a part of is the documentary film
  463. 30:41that American Family Studios produced,
  464. 30:43in his image, Delighting in God's Design,
  465. 30:47to where you have a biblical, frankly,
  466. 30:49in a biblical apologetic documentary
  467. 30:52for the sanctity of the Amago dei, you know,
  468. 30:56where we tackle head on,
  469. 30:59but much to the disdain of others
  470. 31:01in a compassionate, loving manner,
  471. 31:04we tackle this issue of sexuality and identity,
  472. 31:08and communicate it from a first, a biblical foundation,
  473. 31:12anchoring what is presented in the film
  474. 31:14in the Word of God.
  475. 31:15Secondarily from a scientific foundation,
  476. 31:17when you have people talk about, you know, bottom surgery,
  477. 31:20what is that?
  478. 31:21You know, what is a phalaeoplasty?
  479. 31:23You know, what is a vaginal plastic?
  480. 31:25What are these things?
  481. 31:26We delve into that and then we have personal testimony
  482. 31:29of people who have been directly involved
  483. 31:31in these types of lifestyles.
  484. 31:33Like our sister, Laura Perry, who was,
  485. 31:35lived as a transgender man for nine years,
  486. 31:37but then the Lord saved her.
  487. 31:39And by God's grace, even after the film,
  488. 31:41now I have been able to meet her husband.
  489. 31:43Glory to God, it's amazing.
  490. 31:46You know, our brother, a Walt Heyer,
  491. 31:49who has a ministry sex change regret,
  492. 31:51who lived for years as a woman,
  493. 31:53but the Lord saved him,
  494. 31:54put him back on the right course, you know?
  495. 31:58It's a powerful, powerful tool,
  496. 32:00and it's one of the things that the Lord moved us to create,
  497. 32:03to aid the church in tackling this issue.
  498. 32:06You know, where you can go to inhisimage.movie,
  499. 32:08free of charge and watch the documentary,
  500. 32:10share that with others who may be struggling in this area,
  501. 32:14those who may have questions,
  502. 32:15how do you minister in this area?
  503. 32:16This resource is made available
  504. 32:18for you to take full advantage of it.
  505. 32:20When you give to the American Family Association,
  506. 32:23when you give to American Family Radio,
  507. 32:24you're helping to support these types of resources
  508. 32:27and their creation.
  509. 32:29The number to call is 877-616-2396.
  510. 32:34That is the number to call 877-616-2396,
  511. 32:40or you can give securely online at aFR.net.
  512. 32:44That is aFR.net, that is for American Family Radio.
  513. 32:49You know, one of the things that's been exposed in this conversation about trade wars and tariffs
  514. 32:54and all these other things is that regressives have revealed their utter ignorance.
  515. 33:01You know, I don't know if y'all saw that clip I might play it for you tomorrow of Jasmine
  516. 33:05Crockett from the Congress, the representative from from Texas saying nobody's trying to
  517. 33:10farm.
  518. 33:11I'm just like, um, when does she think how food comes from?
  519. 33:15You know, there's a whole part of America, Jasmine.
  520. 33:17That's not in Houston, Texas, by the way, sweetheart.
  521. 33:20You know, there's a whole segment of our society
  522. 33:24that feed our nation through farming.
  523. 33:27You know, and then you have Chris Matthews from MSDNC
  524. 33:34who asked this question.
  525. 33:37If we were in a tariff war with China,
  526. 33:40I mean, and with Canada, oh geez, Canada,
  527. 33:43don't you realize Canada makes all of our lumber?
  528. 33:46And if Canada's not making our two-by-fours,
  529. 33:49where will we get our two-by-fours?
  530. 33:51I was like, um, Chris, um, we got trees in America, bro.
  531. 33:59Got y'all think I'm joking, but I am not joking.
  532. 34:01I'll play that for you when we come back.
  533. 34:04You are listening to AFR day two of the spring 2025
  534. 34:07shareathon eight, seven, seven, six, one, six, two, three, nine, six is the number
  535. 34:12to call eight, seven, seven, six, one, six, two, three, nine, six is the number
  536. 34:17to call or you can give securely online at aFR.net.
  537. 34:21In honor of Brother Don and Linda Wildman, it's Founders Day on AFR.
  538. 34:29I remember a time when I was in my late 20s and I just graduated college and starting my
  539. 34:35family and beginning to work at AFA and had several questions that I wanted to know about
  540. 34:40Christianity, about some theological truths, things that may have been controversial in
  541. 34:47church history and certain questions that I know that have been debated over years and
  542. 34:52years, but I wanted to be a black and white guy. I wanted to know, hey, what are the answer?
  543. 34:56And so I called up Papa and I said, hey, you have an opportunity or some time this week,
  544. 35:02and I could come over and ask you some questions. And he said, absolutely. And so that weekend
  545. 35:06I went over there and he gave me several of his books that he got from seminary and other
  546. 35:11things like that that were very beneficial for me and him. And so he gave me some of those
  547. 35:15things. And then I remember going, pulling out my notebook and going, okay, here are some
  548. 35:19questions that I got and I went down the first one, the second one, the third one.
  549. 35:23As I got toward the end, I was looking at him like, don't you have some answers to these?
  550. 35:27And then I realized when he let me, he said, well go ahead, finish them all.
  551. 35:30And I finished them and then he asked me the question.
  552. 35:32He said, well let me ask you a question.
  553. 35:35What difference does those things make?
  554. 35:37And it almost seemed in the moment that it was sarcastic, but it wasn't.
  555. 35:41I know my pop-up, he was trying to make a point and he was challenging me to think through
  556. 35:46the significance and importance of them and understanding whether this was a close hand
  557. 35:50issue or this was something that was open handed for the purpose of the way I would approach
  558. 35:55it. So from that point on it's inspired me to ask the same question. Of course he was
  559. 36:00up for discussion, debate and things that were edifying but his point was is that if it doesn't
  560. 36:06matter on the other side in heaven what difference does it make here if it becomes divisive.
  561. 36:13And so that's been very helpful for me.
  562. 36:15Brother Don has been standing in the gap for families,
  563. 36:18and Linda has been standing behind him
  564. 36:20since the inception of this ministry more than 40 years ago.
  565. 36:23We praise the Lord for our Founders' Obedient Service,
  566. 36:26and we invite you to make a gift in their honor
  567. 36:29during Chirathon on AFR.
  568. 36:34Thank you for listening to American Family Radio
  569. 36:36on Founders Day.
  570. 36:38We're honoring Brother Don Wildman
  571. 36:40as he honored the Lord.
  572. 36:41I would just like to see every person in America have access to American Family Radio.
  573. 36:48Call now at 877-616-2396 and make your pledge. That's 877-616-2396 or give online at afr.net.
  574. 37:01It's Founders Day on American Family Radio.
  575. 37:04Welcome back to Cherathon 2025. Day 2 of Cherathon, Hamilton Corner Edition.

  579. 37:36Your material support of this ministry is the engine
  580. 37:40that God uses to empower us to continue to do what we do.
  581. 37:45877-616-2396 is the number to call.
  582. 37:51877-616-2396 is the number to call.
  583. 37:55or you can get securely online by going to a fr.net.
  584. 37:59That is a fr.net before going to the break.
  585. 38:02I mentioned that MS D&C's Chris Matthew
  586. 38:07was having a hard time whapping his would of wane
  587. 38:09on the notion that,
  588. 38:13hey, bro, we don't have to continuously depend
  589. 38:17on all these other nations for things
  590. 38:18that we use on a daily basis.
  591. 38:20What a novel idea to start to make some of the things
  592. 38:23that we need right here in our own country.
  593. 38:25in particular, he took issue with the fact that don't you realize how much lumber we get from
  594. 38:29Canada? If we continue to have trade difficulties with Canada, where or where we get our wood?
  595. 38:36I'm telling you guys, I am not making this up. Listen to and watch clip number two.
  596. 38:41Clip number two. Go.
  597. 38:43But there's others thing. I watched on the evening news last night, one of the other networks,
  598. 38:46and I watched the issue of lumber. Now, you see, we get so much of our lumber, our two
  599. 38:52by force from Canada.
  600. 38:54What's where we get it from?
  601. 38:55Canada, we get our newsprint from up there for newspapers.
  602. 38:58The fact is we get it.
  603. 38:59What are we going to do?
  604. 39:00Have more lumber made in the United States now?
  605. 39:02What is our plan now?
  606. 39:03Oh, we're not going to import wood.
  607. 39:05So we're going to make more wood.
  608. 39:06We're going to create more wood.
  609. 39:07Is that it?
  610. 39:08I don't think we are in a position to simply replicate the imports coming into this country
  611. 39:14with our own products.
  612. 39:15They can't always be done.
  613. 39:16And I think if a wood's example of that, wood, are we going to make more wood in this
  614. 39:21country because of our trade deal. I don't think so.
  615. 39:24Cole, you stupid.
  616. 39:27Chris Matthew.
  617. 39:33What are we going to do? We got a lumber from Canada.
  618. 39:40We got a lumber from Canada. Is anybody going to ask Chris where does Canada get his lumber
  619. 39:46from? Canada gets his lumber from trees, Chris. I don't know if you've been outside in a
  620. 39:54And this is man, I'm telling you, you should not underestimate this, you know, this, uh,
  621. 40:01Metropolitan living bias, you know, it always makes me laugh.
  622. 40:06The number of people want to, you know, sometimes I visit these other nations.
  623. 40:08I'm always glad I have my password returned to America, but a visit he does a place and
  624. 40:12they talk about things like overcrowding overpopulation.
  625. 40:16I was like, that's, that lets me know you haven't driven anywhere between the coast in a very
  626. 40:20long time.
  627. 40:22bless our nation with a lot of space.
  628. 40:25A lot of space.
  629. 40:27Guess what else the Lord is blessed our nation with, Chris?
  630. 40:30You come real close, Chris.
  631. 40:33Guess what we have a whole lot of in America?
  632. 40:36Trees.
  633. 40:38Trees, Chris.
  634. 40:39Lumber is produced from trees.
  635. 40:42We have a whole lot of trees, Chris.
  636. 40:48It amazes me how ignorant these regressives are.
  637. 40:53And I don't mean it ignorance as an insult. I mean it as an assessment of their objective disposition
  638. 40:59Jasmine Crockett saying nobody's trying to farm while we have farms all over America
  639. 41:04Chris Matthews is incredulous at the notion. What are we gonna do produce our own lumber?
  640. 41:10And I'm not saying we have the I we have the identical amounts
  641. 41:14I haven't studied the lumber industry in particular, but I know we got a whole lot of trees
  642. 41:17I think we are right think we are right on that front
  643. 41:23I had the privilege of being at the beginning of this year, you know visiting our friends
  644. 41:29Jay Saint John and Heidi Saint John in the Pacific Northwest.
  645. 41:33Guess what I saw a whole lot of?
  646. 41:34Y'all seen this with me?
  647. 41:38I saw a whole lot of trees.
  648. 41:42Now here's one of the things that was so amazing and learn while being there.
  649. 41:47Do you realize how much the trees in the Pacific Northwest are subjected to federal regulations
  650. 41:54that prevent people who own their own land
  651. 41:57with their own trees on their own land
  652. 42:00get their prohibited from logging their own land.
  653. 42:04Chris, do you wanna have a conversation
  654. 42:06about how many landowners in America
  655. 42:08are unable to harvest their own lumber
  656. 42:11because the federal government's regulations
  657. 42:13prohibit them from doing so?
  658. 42:15Chris, do you wanna have the conversation
  659. 42:17about how much these regulations impact our ability
  660. 42:23Impact.
  661. 42:24Our ability to have the lumber industry to be robust in America.
  662. 42:29Do you wanna have that conversation?
  663. 42:30Or are you simply content to be on television?
  664. 42:33Talking about...
  665. 42:34I was, I was...
  666. 42:37Look, this is the extent of his exhaustive research.
  667. 42:41I was watching the news last night.
  668. 42:42I knew we're talking about lumber.
  669. 42:44Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha
  670. 42:48and do you realize how much of our lumber
  671. 42:52What do we get from Canada?
  672. 42:53Chris, we have trees in America, man.
  673. 42:57What a novel idea if America produced lumber in America
  674. 43:02for our two-by-fours?
  675. 43:05And then he made, we got our newspaper print from Canada.
  676. 43:09Chris, I don't know how many people you know
  677. 43:11that's the Norwegian physical newspaper.
  678. 43:14I know we have some.
  679. 43:188, 7, 7, 6, 1, 6, 2, 3, 9, 6 is the number to call.
  680. 43:21I mean, you can't make this stuff up.
  681. 43:23The cold-use stupid is so accurate.
  682. 43:25This man is growing, you know, waxing apoplectic over the lumber markets.
  683. 43:31We're not in a field with trees.
  684. 43:33Field with trees.
  685. 43:37That produce lumber.
  686. 43:38877-616-2396 is the number to call 877-616-2396 is the number to call we have about nine
  687. 43:49and a half minutes remaining with today's program, day two of Cherathon.
  688. 43:55We will continue tomorrow.
  689. 43:56That will be the third and final day for the spring 2025
  690. 44:00share, Thon, for American family radio.
  691. 44:04And I encourage you to make your pledge,
  692. 44:09talk to your friends, your family members, your loved ones,
  693. 44:12encourage them to join in keeping this vehicle rolling.
  694. 44:17Eight, seven, seven, six, one, six, two, three, nine,
  695. 44:20six is the number to call when I was on in the earlier hour
  696. 44:23at 4 p.m. with Bishop E.W. Jackson and Pastor Bird Harper,
  697. 44:27one half of the Exploring the Word duo,
  698. 44:30we had a listener testimony of a woman explaining
  699. 44:34that she is not the most technologically savvy,
  700. 44:36but she often finds herself, finds herself
  701. 44:39in conversation with her friends and family members
  702. 44:41and loved ones, and she would share information
  703. 44:43she'd received, but they had never heard any
  704. 44:46of the information.
  705. 44:47And so they would ask her, where did you get it from?
  706. 44:49And she said, well, I listen to American Family Radio.
  707. 44:52If I could tell you how many times I have heard that exact same testimony, I could spend
  708. 44:59the next three hours just giving you testimony after testimony of the testimony of that exact
  709. 45:03same phenomenon.
  710. 45:04877-616-239-6 is the number to call or you can give securely online at aFR.net.
  711. 45:11That is AFR.net.
  712. 45:13I want to take us to one of our listener testimonies now to just hear how the very ministry we're
  713. 45:20talking about these this radio network these microphones continues to impact
  714. 45:24people who are listening just as you are. Go.
  715. 45:28I've been listening to AFR for more than a dozen years. There is no comparison as to the quality of the broadcasting on AFR.
  716. 45:39I've been through some really tough things these past 10 years and AFR has
  717. 45:44been a huge source of encouragement in my journey. All the shows during the week
  718. 45:49are great, but my favorites are exploring the word and the Hamilton show, and I really
  719. 45:56love trivia Friday because I like to laugh and you guys really make me laugh.
  720. 46:02Your weekend lineup is really great. I am really impressed because you don't slack off on the
  721. 46:07weekends. I'm hard pressed to pick a favorite, but most likely the top two for me would be
  722. 46:13exploring missions and share truth apply scripture.
  723. 46:18And I know I'm older than their audience,
  724. 46:21but I learned a lot from these young people.
  725. 46:23I thank you, AFR, for being a light in the darkness
  726. 46:27to so many, me included.
  727. 46:29It's my big desire that I wanna be able to visit
  728. 46:32your headquarters someday so I can thank
  729. 46:34somebody who's in person.
  730. 46:35God bless you all.
  731. 46:43Well, that testimony is humbling and it's sobering
  732. 46:48and it's sobering and it's really convicting on a host of fronts because when we open these
  733. 46:55microphones, man, there are people that are listening.
  734. 46:59In your contribution, your support helps to keep these things available for so many people
  735. 47:03all across the nation.
  736. 47:05I'm always amazed at my travels.
  737. 47:08Though I travel a lot, I try to limit my travel.
  738. 47:11I don't accept every invitation I get because I don't want to be away from home more than
  739. 47:15I'm at home.
  740. 47:17that it never fails as I travel.
  741. 47:19I'm able to hear from people who talk about
  742. 47:21how this network has been a blessing to them.
  743. 47:25877-616-239-6 is the number to call.
  744. 47:29877-616-239-6 is the number to call
  745. 47:34to make your gift, to make your pledge.
  746. 47:37We're in day two of the Sharethon.
  747. 47:40Day three is tomorrow.
  748. 47:41It is the third and final day
  749. 47:44for our spring, share on 2025, 877-616-239-6,
  750. 47:51is the number to call or you can give securely online
  751. 47:54at aFR.net.
  752. 47:56Well, the Trump administration issued a public policy
  753. 48:02concerning what reporters it will
  754. 48:04and will not respond to.
  755. 48:07And it's interesting that Press Secretary Caroline Levitt
  756. 48:10has announced that the President Trump's White House
  757. 48:13has decided to ignore all emails, request for comment,
  758. 48:17request for information from reporters
  759. 48:19who include preferred pronouns as part of their email signatures.
  760. 48:23Hahaha.
  761. 48:26That's right.
  762. 48:28The Trump administration has said that if you include preferred
  763. 48:31pronouns in your email signatures,
  764. 48:33you can forget getting a response.
  765. 48:36As a matter of policy, Christine Levin said,
  766. 48:38we do not respond to reporters with pronouns in their bios.
  767. 48:43So that is something that they also include
  768. 48:45in their refusal to respond to.
  769. 48:48You put them in your bios without responding.
  770. 48:50You put them in your signatures, we're not responding.
  771. 48:53And they explained why, for example, Katie Miller,
  772. 48:56senior advisor for the Department of Government Efficiency,
  773. 49:00who let the doge out, woof, woof, woof.
  774. 49:02Katie Miller said, quote,
  775. 49:07as a matter of policy, I don't respond to people
  776. 49:09who use pronouns in their signatures,
  777. 49:11as it shows they ignore scientific reality
  778. 49:14and therefore ignore facts. Members of the Trump administration throughout have said the
  779. 49:19very same thing. Linda McMahon, the energy that started education secretary has stated
  780. 49:25the same thing. Caroline Levitt expounded on the Trump administration's policy decision
  781. 49:32to refuse to respond to reporters with pronouns in their bios or in their signatures by saying,
  782. 49:38quote, any reporter who chooses to put their preferred pronouns in their bio clearly does
  783. 49:44not care about biological reality or truth and therefore cannot be trusted to write an honest
  784. 49:51story."
  785. 49:52In quote, he pulls out his his monocle and I'm searching and the report finds no lies detected.
  786. 50:02How can you trust a reporter who communicates to you upon their affirmative presentation?
  787. 50:09That reality is irrelevant to them. It's irrelevant to them. You cannot trust you to
  788. 50:16write an honest story because you disregard facts as a matter of personal preference.
  789. 50:21You are telling me on the front and hey you know I don't mind lies but please give me the
  790. 50:28facts I can report accurately upon your administration.
  791. 50:31I call that a sound policy decision.
  792. 50:34877-616-2396 is the number to call 877-616-2396 is the number to call or you can give securely

  794. 50:54today's share, Thon. We will continue by God's grace tomorrow with the third and final day
  795. 51:03for share Thon. I have no problem whatsoever with the Trump administration making it its
  796. 51:10policy to refuse to respond to reporters with the pronouns in their bios. It's just so hilarious
  797. 51:24to me. And it's an accurate decision. 877-616-2396 is the number to call 877-616-2396 or you
