  9. 0:26Let's not miss our moment.
  10. 0:28And now, the Hamilton Corner.
  11. 0:33Good evening, everyone.
  12. 0:34Welcome to the Hamilton Corner.
  13. 0:36Abraham Hamilton III is my name.
  14. 0:38I'm the host of this program.
  15. 0:40I am joined by the corner contender right across from me,
  16. 0:43my man, 100 grand, Mr. Bobby.
  17. 0:45and no, he was not included in the signal texting group.
  18. 0:51And in the screening room, we have produced extraordinaire often imitated, never duplicated.
  19. 0:59The real Jay Mac, ladies and gentlemen, he is joined by our friendly recovering, perpetually
  20. 1:06recovering neighborhood, woulda, Hollick.
  21. 1:07Mr. Marty Sparks, and we are ready to rock and roll with today's edition of the program
  22. 1:13at this very moment, many of you, if not most of you are making your transition from your
  23. 1:18part-time jobs where you generate an income to your full-time jobs where you cultivate
  24. 1:22an outcome.
  25. 1:23And as you do so, I want to remind you to do so with intentionality, understanding the
  26. 1:29primacy that God places on family, allowing the reality of what our Lord has conveyed
  27. 1:37and recorded for our benefit to inform our engagement.
  28. 1:41And as a result of that, aligning ourselves with God's holy word and understanding that
  29. 1:49significance and that primacy.
  30. 1:51We will never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, out church, out politic, out vote deficiencies
  31. 2:02that abound in the home.
  32. 2:04In fact, I'm going to, we want to open the phone lines later on in the program, the last
  33. 2:08But I want to ask a question while things are swirling all around us.
  34. 2:13Basically, it's a twofold question.
  35. 2:16How do you perceive things currently in terms of the state of affairs in our nation?
  36. 2:22And then secondarily, what is the most important thing?
  37. 2:25The most important thing we as a nation should secure, should pursue right now.
  38. 2:31That is what I want to know from you as we get further on in the program.
  39. 2:35but right now, we're going to do what we always do on this show.
  40. 2:40Begin the program by turning to the Word of God.
  41. 2:44It is
  42. 2:46Indispensibly necessary for us to recognize that we should not expect
  43. 2:52to navigate this life well if we place our place,
  44. 2:56the Word of God on the proverbial shelf.
  45. 2:58But far are too many of us,
  46. 3:01but far too long in our nation,
  47. 3:03the Bible has been regarded as an accessory.
  48. 3:07as opposed to a necessity.
  49. 3:09We must, we must, we must recognize and seek to implement
  50. 3:17what the scriptures require of us.
  51. 3:18Very, very, very simply.
  52. 3:21And regardless of where you may be,
  53. 3:24I have conversations often with people who would take
  54. 3:28Umbridge, who would have an objection to me
  55. 3:32and to say, well, we can pursue morality
  56. 3:36without adhering to the Word of God.
  57. 3:37And I'll simply say, okay, based on what standard?
  58. 3:42Well, you know, it would be based on what we come to
  59. 3:45as a consensus for the values of a civilized people.
  60. 3:49Okay, well, where does the foundation for that consensus?
  61. 3:54You know, I'm not Captain America,
  62. 3:56but we can do this all day.
  63. 3:58You know, because ultimately foundational truths
  64. 4:03require a foundation.
  65. 4:05Ultimately, civilizational consensus has to be based upon
  66. 4:09something and if it's solely based upon humanistic preference,
  67. 4:14then what would be the binding and enduring agent
  68. 4:18that would keep us as a society
  69. 4:23from changing our humanistic preferences?
  70. 4:27See the old, the age old contention will be God's word
  71. 4:31or man's word, which one will prevail?
  72. 4:35God's word or man's word,
  73. 4:36you can't, it is an inescapable reality.
  74. 4:40And so whoever you may be, you know,
  75. 4:42there are many people who would even profess to be atheist,
  76. 4:45but they like to borrow from a biblical worldview.
  77. 4:48People that would purport notions of justice,
  78. 4:50where do you get those ideas from?
  79. 4:53They don't come from a world of view that says,
  80. 4:55might makes right.
  81. 4:58So from where do they hail?
  82. 5:04Which is why we turn to the word of God
  83. 5:07to provide the foundation for all things that we do
  84. 5:10in this program.
  85. 5:10And frankly, the scripture that we're going to delve
  86. 5:12into tells you even better than I could ever tell you why
  87. 5:16it's important to do that.
  88. 5:16Second Peter chapter one.
  89. 5:19Second Peter chapter one versus one through three.
  90. 5:212 Peter chapter 1, verses 1 through 3 is where we are going to go today.
  91. 5:30And this is what the Word of God says.
  92. 5:34Simon Peter, a bond-servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who have received a faith
  93. 5:42of the same kind as ours, by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ, grace
  94. 5:50and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.
  95. 5:57Seeing that his divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and
  96. 6:07godliness through the true knowledge of him who has called us by his own glory and excellence.
  97. 6:19One of the first things I want you to see, and this is something that is common in
  98. 6:23in Peter's writings, you'll see this in the Apostle Paul's writings as well.
  99. 6:28You'll see this in the Apostles of Christ, those who lived and had the first hand encounter
  100. 6:40with Messiah.
  101. 6:42You'll see this consistently.
  102. 6:46Simon describes himself first and foremost before he gets to get anything else as a doolos,
  103. 6:50a bond servant of Jesus Christ.
  104. 6:54This is first communication, a doulos of Jesus Christ.
  105. 7:02Then he addresses his audience to those who have received a faith of the same kind as ours.
  106. 7:08This is again an epistle, that's the genre of literature this is in.
  107. 7:12This is one of the sources that I always encourage big chunk readings.
  108. 7:16The word Epistle is just a fancy word that means letter, it's a letter that the spirit
  109. 7:20got moved, the apostle Peter to write.
  110. 7:24So this is one that should be consumed in one sitting, if possible, or I won't say a possible,
  111. 7:29we can, we can do whatever we determine this priority for us to do.
  112. 7:37But after identifying himself as a do-loce and then turning to address his audience to
  113. 7:41those who have received the faith of the same kind as ours, this is what I was describing
  114. 7:47when I said this is something that is consistent throughout Peter's writings, that he always
  115. 7:53Endevered to communicate to the recipients of his writings that the faith that they had was exact same faith
  116. 8:01the same quality the same kind as his own
  117. 8:05The apostle peter did not attempt to exalt himself
  118. 8:09Above the other members of the body of christ but identified himself and articulated to the recipients of his epistle
  119. 8:17That the faith that you have is the same faith that I have
  120. 8:20We are all in the same family of God.
  121. 8:22We are all in the same boat.
  122. 8:26This is one of the key distinctions between those who endeavor to be servants of the Lord
  123. 8:30God.
  124. 8:31As they endeavor to make disciples, they endeavor to cultivate disciples of Christ Jesus and not
  125. 8:36clones or mini-meas of themselves.
  126. 8:40One of the major distinctions between those who are our solid, godly disciple makers
  127. 8:47is that they consistently point people to Jesus,
  128. 8:52as opposed to pointing people to themselves.
  129. 8:56They consistently direct people to Messiah,
  130. 9:00as opposed to directing people to themselves.
  131. 9:05This is a vitally important and significant recognition
  132. 9:13that the Lord gives us in His word.
  133. 9:16Peter affirms to the people who will receive his epistle, which applies to all believers in the body of Christ,
  134. 9:23that the faith that he has is of the same sort of as yours.
  135. 9:30For those who receive the faith of the same kind as ours, then he goes on to explain by the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ.
  136. 9:42Affirmative fact of salvation is not a factor of feature of works in which any man should boast, but it is a free gift of God.
  137. 9:50It is a gift of God, but we should never conflict the
  138. 9:54freeness of this gift with a cheapening of the gift of salvation.
  139. 10:00And Peter says something that's amazing grace and peace be
  140. 10:05multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.
  141. 10:11And this exact same epistle and we won't get to it today.
  142. 10:14But if you continue reading versus four through nine, Peter goes on
  143. 10:22to explain that faith is not the penultimate object in and of itself, but it's a mechanism.
  144. 10:27It's a vehicle in that our faith must be supplemented, must be bolstered, not as a risk,
  145. 10:33not in effort to secure justification, not in effort to make ourselves please in a God
  146. 10:39to where we earn our salvation.
  147. 10:40No, the supplementing of our faith happens for those of us who are already born again,
  148. 10:45who are already regenerative.
  149. 10:47Remember, Peter is addressing people who are already believers.
  150. 10:52it is to the believers, Peter says, made the grace of our Lord and peace of our Lord be
  151. 10:58multiplied to you in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. What is this communicating? That now
  152. 11:05that we are in Christ, we should seek to abound in Him. We should seek to increase in Him. The
  153. 11:12verses I alluded to, verses 4 through 9, talked about various qualities and characteristics
  154. 11:17that if there are hours and there abounding and they're increasing, they fortify us against
  155. 11:22being buried and unproductive in our knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.
  156. 11:26The unfortunate reality is because of sadly the deficiency and understanding
  157. 11:33discipleship and the mandate for discipleship, we have lots of people who have had,
  158. 11:39and I should say suffered an arresting of the development in Christ.
  159. 11:45So we have a protecting of spiritual adolescence to which the Hebrew writer
  160. 11:49says at the time that you should be able to help others, you have need to be
  161. 11:52taught again the basic principles of the faith.
  162. 11:54that it is available to us to have a multiplication of peace and our knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ that is a product of those who are hungering and thirsting after Him.
  163. 12:12Jesus is recorded in Matthew's Gospel that a major, major, major promise of Christ Jesus is that those who hunger and thirst for righteousness shall be filled.
  164. 12:27That's a promise, man.
  165. 12:29That's a promise.
  166. 12:30The text goes on, seeing, verse 3,
  167. 12:35Seeing that is divine power
  168. 12:40Has granted to us everything
  169. 12:46pertaining to life and
  170. 12:49godliness through the true
  171. 12:51knowledge of him who has called
  172. 12:52us by his own glory and excellence.
  173. 12:54Rather than simply simply put,
  174. 12:56the word of God must be
  175. 12:58our continued enduring
  176. 13:01and ultimate authority
  177. 13:03for all manner of life, doctrine, and practice.
  178. 13:12Does God's Word has something to say to us
  179. 13:16about identity, you better believe it.
  180. 13:18Does God's Word have anything to say to us?
  181. 13:24Our sexuality, you better believe it.
  182. 13:25Does God's Word have wisdom for us,
  183. 13:27for financial management, for relationship engagement?
  184. 13:31And I'm not talking about romantic relationships,
  185. 13:32but it includes that too.
  186. 13:34The Word of God is sharper than any two-edged sword,
  187. 13:38in any two-edged sword.
  188. 13:42And this is something that we have not secured for ourselves.
  189. 13:45This is something that his divine power has made
  190. 13:47available to us.
  191. 13:52That in him, we have all that we need for life and godliness.
  192. 13:57Now, I don't want anybody to misconstry what I'm saying.
  193. 13:59It is because we are in him,
  194. 14:01that we as the scripture says, supplement our faith
  195. 14:03with knowledge and supplement our faith
  196. 14:05with brotherly love and with kindness.
  197. 14:10It is because we're in Christ,
  198. 14:13that the reality of life on this side of eternity
  199. 14:16It has outside significance, has outside meaning.
  200. 14:21It transforms everything about us.
  201. 14:24There's a reason why brothers and sisters.
  202. 14:27Christ followers historically, I'm talking about it
  203. 14:29in human history, have led the way in the sciences,
  204. 14:32have led the way in philosophic development,
  205. 14:35have led the way in artistic development,
  206. 14:37have led the way across the board
  207. 14:42because the light of Christ illuminates everything
  208. 14:45about us as mankind.
  209. 14:49The divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness.
  210. 14:55Through the knowledge of him was called us by his own glory and excellence.
  211. 15:00A discipleship minute with Joseph Parker.
  212. 15:041 Samuel 17 verses 50 and 51.
  213. 15:08So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone.
  214. 15:12Instruct the Philistine and killed him.
  215. 15:15There was no sword in the hand of David.
  216. 15:17When David ran and stood over the Philistine and took his sword and drew it out of his
  217. 15:22sheath and killed him and cut off his head with it.
  218. 15:25When the Philistines saw that their champion was dead, they bled.
  219. 15:29Every disciple of Jesus Christ would be wise to strive to become a kingdom warrior.
  220. 15:35I would define a kingdom warrior as a disciple of Christ who wisely and skillfully puts the
  221. 15:40word of God, the sword of the spirit to work every day.
  222. 15:44All people everywhere are facing intense spiritual warfare,
  223. 15:48facing at home, at school, at work, in public, every day.
  224. 15:54We see it in the news, in our government, in our culture,
  225. 15:56and all across the world.
  226. 16:05Shiting light into the darkness,
  227. 16:07this is the Hamilton Corner, an American family radio.
  228. 16:11Welcome back to the Hamilton Corner, Abraham Hamilton,
  229. 16:13the third here.
  230. 16:15Man, this is gonna be a very, very busy year.
  231. 16:17Let me share an event with you that's coming up in May, May 22nd through the 24th.
  232. 16:24The corner team is hitting the road again.
  233. 16:26We will be in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where we will broadcast live from the North
  234. 16:32Carolina, sorry, North Carolinians for home educations, Thrive Conference.
  235. 16:38It'll be, as I mentioned, May 22nd through the 24th at the Benton Convention Center in
  236. 16:43Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
  237. 16:45You simply go to NCHE, that's the acronym for North Carolinians for Home Education, NCHE.com
  238. 16:51to register.
  239. 16:53I was told I can invite all of you to come.
  240. 16:55It's going to be an amazing time to where we're really going to talk about the blessing,
  241. 17:01the privilege, the opportunity to make disciples starting right in our own homes.
  242. 17:06And I will be actually speaking multiple times during this conference.
  243. 17:11And I'm greatly, greatly looking forward to it.
  244. 17:13We definitely want to tune in because we'll have a busy travel schedule this year and it's
  245. 17:19ramping up.
  246. 17:20It's already started, frankly, but some of the things we've been in haven't been necessarily
  247. 17:25public events, but this is an event where the public is invited to come.
  248. 17:31That is in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, made 22nd through the 24th, 2025.
  249. 17:38your calendars. I'll be providing more information to you and to everyone really on this front
  250. 17:46going forward. And as well as everywhere else will be everywhere else will be throughout
  251. 17:52this year. All right. Oh boy. The announcements keep coming. And my response has been who don't
  252. 18:02threaten me with a good time. Don't threaten me with a good time. What am I talking about?
  253. 18:08the Trump administration and this is being reported by the Wall Street Journal, they broke
  254. 18:12the story first. The Trump administration is planning to freeze what's described as family
  255. 18:20planning grants. That's right. Family planning grants, these family planning grants largely
  256. 18:28are what has been popularly discussed as Title 10 funding. Well, why is this important? Why am I
  257. 18:34saying don't turn me with a good time. Well, simply because
  258. 18:42title 10 is one of the mechanisms that one of the most
  259. 18:46egregious and immoral organizations ever created in the
  260. 18:50history of the world gets access to federal tax payer dollars.
  261. 18:54What I'm talking about the eugenicist outfit that was started
  262. 19:00under Margaret Sanger who sought to utilize every tool that
  263. 19:05disposal to eliminate what she described as human weeds that included black people that included
  264. 19:11the infirm that included, you know, all kinds of people she deemed was unfit for reproduction.
  265. 19:19That is why to this day, the overwhelming majority of Planned Parenthood murdering
  266. 19:25facilities, you can't really call them clinics, they're in inner city neighborhoods. That was
  267. 19:32by design. That was a part of their strategy because they needed to have quick access to the people they
  268. 19:37wanted to kill. Well, something that I have long advocated for, I've been alone many people who are
  269. 19:45advocates for the sanctity of human life, for the establishment, the cultivation and development
  270. 19:48of a culture of life. We've long said that there's no reason why my hard-earned money that I work for
  271. 19:56and I contribute to the federal coffers as a taxpayer, it should not be used to murder unborn
  272. 20:03children innocent unborn children. But that is in fact what has transpired. You know,
  273. 20:09many of you know the numbers from 2019 to 2021 Planned Parenthood killed over 100,
  274. 20:14I'm sorry, over a million 1.1 million babies. And that's in surgical abortions. That's not
  275. 20:19including chemical abortions. All right. Over that same time period, 2019 and 2021,
  276. 20:27Planned Parenthood received nearly $2 billion in federal funding, nearly $2 billion in federal
  277. 20:33funding for an average for an average of almost 600 million dollars a year, which represents
  278. 20:40over 40% of the annual revenue.
  279. 20:42Now, I know many of you because you know, you pay attention to these things.
  280. 20:49You are aware of it.
  281. 20:50There are lots of other people who don't realize that.
  282. 20:52Like, wait a minute, if Planned Parenthood is so wonderful, why can't they survive without
  283. 20:58taxpayer money?
  284. 20:59And again, you know, let's just let's just talk Turkey for a moment.
  285. 21:08I checked according to our Declaration of Independence that governments derived the just
  286. 21:12powers from the consent of the governed.
  287. 21:14How many of you have consented for your money to be used to go to plan murder?
  288. 21:18I mean, our money, frankly, frankly, our money is being used for all kinds of evil all over
  289. 21:27the world.
  290. 21:30Do you get much more evil than using taxpayer dollars to murder innocent children?
  291. 21:36Oh, yeah, that's right.
  292. 21:38Abraham Planned Parenthood does not use tax money to murder babies.
  293. 21:43They use tax money for everything else that allows them to murder babies. I mean
  294. 21:51Right do we do we do we need to do the hamburger and a bun again?
  295. 21:54Do we need to do that?
  296. 21:56Money is fungible everybody understands that money is fungible. It's just insane and when you look at these numbers
  297. 22:02I mean
  298. 22:04According to the government accountability office
  299. 22:07I am paranoid gets money through a through a cadre of means including Medicare Medicaid and chip
  300. 22:13reimbursements. And I want to be clear about what the Trump administration is
  301. 22:18announcing. They're announcing their plans to freeze funding. Notice I didn't say
  302. 22:26eliminated immediately. To freeze funding. Why? To freeze the funding to determine and
  303. 22:33to ensure that money is being expended in a manner that is consistent with the
  304. 22:39federal law and that complies with the president's executive orders, including
  305. 22:43those that he signed recently.
  306. 22:49That's well within his parameters.
  307. 22:51I know some people that are discussing, well, it doesn't require legislation, not to freeze,
  308. 22:59or to make it even more plain to let the doge out to determine whether or not the money
  309. 23:11is being expended consistent with appropriate law.
  310. 23:20I'd also add that that often federal grants are used for I see over there.
  311. 23:28International purposes, exporting this wickedness to foreign shores.
  312. 23:33Now, it is the Wall Street Journal broke the story that President Trump was considering
  313. 23:40an executive order detailing his plans to dismantle the Department of Education.
  314. 23:47That happened.
  315. 23:48Did it not?
  316. 23:49He signed that executive order.
  317. 23:50Well, then you have the articulation of these plans to freeze funding federal funding for family grants
  318. 23:59Family planning grants I should say
  319. 24:03And that is something that didn't have to tell you plainly
  320. 24:07That I'm excited about I'm excited about it
  321. 24:13Looking forward to it looking forward to these things happening
  322. 24:16And you know one of the major things that that's going to come out from all of this
  323. 24:19You know all of the previous Republican
  324. 24:22administrations that talked a good game on these things, but didn't follow through on it,
  325. 24:28they're going to look really silly, you know, that it was Trump that appointed the Supreme Court
  326. 24:35justices that overturned Roe versus Wade. And if it pans out, it turns out that it is Trump
  327. 24:41who operated in such a manner to dislodge our hard-earned tax money from the clutches
  328. 24:50of a satanic organization like Planned Parenthood. And I know people might get upset.
  329. 24:55I don't care. It's a satanic organization.
  330. 24:58Do your own research, study Marcus Sanger's history for eugenics,
  331. 25:01study how frankly the Nazis learned a eugenics program from the American eugenic
  332. 25:06look it up to wicked organization.
  333. 25:13It's an evil satanic organization.
  334. 25:16And the really shouldn't take us to study history.
  335. 25:18If you have any organization that commit themselves to dismembering innocent
  336. 25:22babies, that tells you a lot about what you need to know concerning that organization.
  337. 25:29All right.
  338. 25:30So be on the lookout for that.
  339. 25:31I would be on the lookout for that.
  340. 25:32And in addition to simply being on the lookout for it,
  341. 25:35but I'll be praying for it, not only for the executive action,
  342. 25:41but for our nation, that we would have a conviction about us
  343. 25:46concerning human life.
  344. 25:49You could debate a whole lot of policies,
  345. 25:51but really a lot of policy don't matter if you did.
  346. 25:57And it is a foundational determination
  347. 26:01as to what type of society we have been
  348. 26:03and what we will be going forward.
  349. 26:07All right, I'm going to turn a bit to, and this is a story that really broke.
  350. 26:14I wanted to get all of my details together before I brought it to you.
  351. 26:19And y'all know I'm an equal opportunity to tell her, I'll say when we got it right.
  352. 26:24And I'll say when folks have gotten it wrong.
  353. 26:27I've been a supporter of much of what the Trump administration has done to date.
  354. 26:34This is an unforced error, what I'm about to talk about here.
  355. 26:37Well, a story was published yesterday in the Atlantic by, I can't even really call this,
  356. 26:45I mean, I guess he's a journalist.
  357. 26:47I know I can't really call him a journalist because of the lies.
  358. 26:50He's so fancifully and eagerly spouted in times past under the guise of journalism.
  359. 26:55But Jeffrey Goldberg, who was the editor-in-chief of at the Atlantic, but it was interesting,
  360. 27:02the simple fact that he published his story as an op-ed, an opinion piece is what it is,
  361. 27:06supposed to a news story gives an indication that he knows when I really breaking news here.
  362. 27:12But Jeffrey Goldberg broke a story to where he was added to a private texting group that
  363. 27:20included the top officials in the Trump administration, including Defense Secretary, Pete
  364. 27:25Headset, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Vice President JD Vance, Director of National
  365. 27:33intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, you know, Steven Miller, really the top of the upper echelon
  366. 27:39of the Trump administration. And they were discussing through a text group on the encrypted
  367. 27:48app called Signal. All right. And they were discussing the plan concerning the Houthis
  368. 27:58in Yemen. And ultimately, you know, a lot of people may know some may not know that we
  369. 28:04We bombed the Houthis because they had been doing what terrorists do, the Iranian-backed
  370. 28:10terrorists, Houthi, they had been really acting as pirates.
  371. 28:14And this isn't new for the Houthis because you may recall that we have this military outfit
  372. 28:20called the US Navy.
  373. 28:21Does anybody remember why the US Navy was formed?
  374. 28:24Well, that's right.
  375. 28:25To stop the Barbary pirates from attacking US merchant vessels.
  376. 28:34To which Thomas Jefferson asked, well, why are you guys attacking us?
  377. 28:36We haven't done anything to you.
  378. 28:37And I said, well, you're not Mohammedans.
  379. 28:42Y'all ain't Muslims.
  380. 28:43So we supposed to attack you.
  381. 28:44That's literally, so the US Navy was literally created
  382. 28:48to thwart terrorism on the high seas.
  383. 28:52This is just a fact.
  384. 28:56So unsurprisingly, terrorists and Yemen
  385. 29:00are continue to try to do terrorist activities.
  386. 29:02And they were really strangling trade in the region
  387. 29:05through merchant vessels.
  388. 29:08The thing that is problematic, however, is that this journalist at the Atlantic, Jeffrey
  389. 29:16Goldberg, was invited to join the chat group.
  390. 29:21So you have a text chat group with the upper echelon of the Trump administration, and they
  391. 29:29also included a journalist.
  392. 29:32These are just facts.
  393. 29:35And they're discussing all of the, well, I will say all of it.
  394. 29:38they're discussing the reality of the possibility of bombing the Houthis. Some of the how that
  395. 29:47was going to happen. And Pete Higgs even said, Oh, in two hours from now, the bombs is dropping,
  396. 29:58right? Now, I know a lot of people trying to spin it. I don't, I don't care what you
  397. 30:04say you can't spin this. This is just an unforced error. Now, the reality is you had
  398. 30:09Mike Walts, one of the Trump administration officials, who added JG, Jeff Goldberg, was
  399. 30:19seemingly attempting to add another Trump administration whose official, whose initials
  400. 30:23are JG.
  401. 30:24Just, just a, just a mistake.
  402. 30:26That's what it was.
  403. 30:30Yet it happened.
  404. 30:35And several things have come out from it, but I want to let you hear Defense Secretary
  405. 30:39repeat hegseth respond to a reporter's question about, and what happened when you guys added
  406. 30:45Jeffrey Goldberg to the, to the text chat about, about the Houthis. Listen to and watch clip
  407. 30:55number two, clip two, go.
  408. 30:56Can you share how you, so I'm talking about a deceitful and highly discredited so-called
  409. 31:16journalist who's made a profession of pedaling hopes this time and time again to include the,
  410. 31:22I don't know, the hopes is that Russia, Russia, Russia or the fine people on both sides hopes or
  411. 31:29suckers and losers hopes. So this is the guy that pedals in garbage. This is what he does.
  412. 31:35I would love to comment on the Hootty campaign because of the skill and courage of our troops.
  413. 31:41I've monitored it very closely from the beginning.
  414. 31:44And you see, you've been managing four years of deferred maintenance under the Trump administration.
  415. 31:49Our troops, our sailors were getting shot at it as targets.
  416. 31:53Our ships couldn't sail through.
  417. 31:55And when they did shoot back it was purely defensively or at shacks in Yemen.
  418. 31:59President Trump said, no more.
  419. 32:02We will reestablish deterrence.
  420. 32:04We will open freedom of navigation.
  421. 32:07And we will ultimately decimate the Houthis.
  422. 32:10which is exactly what we're doing as we speak
  423. 32:12from the beginning, overwhelmingly.
  424. 32:15Why were those details shared on a signal
  425. 32:17and how did you learn that a journalist was privy to
  426. 32:20the targets, the types of weapons used by me?
  427. 32:23I've heard I was characterized, nobody was texting
  428. 32:27war plans and that's all I have to say about that.
  429. 32:29Thank you.
  430. 32:33So that was his response to it.
  431. 32:34I'm gonna dig into that a little bit,
  432. 32:37but the bottom line is that's an unfortunate error.
  433. 32:40I don't care how you're trying to spin it.
  434. 32:42But I think the Trump administration did a good job
  435. 32:45of making sure that this doesn't grow legs
  436. 32:47and become something more outsized in the fact
  437. 32:49that somebody simply just made a mistake.
  438. 32:51And so what do we do going forward from this point?
  439. 33:00The feature-linked documentary culture warrior Don Wildman
  440. 33:03in the battle for decency,
  441. 33:05premiering November 11th, chronicles the life
  442. 33:07and ministry of Don Wildman.
  443. 33:09It takes you through the founding
  444. 33:11of the National Federation for Decency,
  445. 33:13what has become AFA.
  446. 33:15It's a call to stand firm for righteousness and shows how that resolve can make a huge difference
  447. 33:20in our world.
  448. 33:21If we lose this cultural war, we're going to have a hedonistic humanistic society.

  450. 33:30The Middle East, that's one part of the world we need to pay attention to, especially the
  451. 33:34country of Israel.
  452. 33:35Each week, I hope you make sense of what's happening in that region through a biblical
  453. 33:39lens.
  454. 33:40I'll bring you important information about security threats, archaeological discoveries,
  455. 33:43Bible prophecy, ministry is happening on the ground and much more.
  456. 33:47I'm John Riley.
  457. 33:48Join me for the Middle East Report special edition.
  458. 33:50Every Saturday at 6 30 p.m. Central on American Family Radio, as I connect you to the people,
  459. 33:56places, and geography of what we read in God's word.
  460. 34:00The Hamilton Quarter Podcast and One-mitted Common Terrors are available at efrd.net.
  461. 34:11Back to the Hamilton Quarter on American Family Radio.
  462. 34:14Welcome back to the Hamilton Corner, Abraham Hamilton the third here. Let me tell you, we're
  463. 34:19going to open the phone lines this segment. The number to call is 888-589-8840. That number
  464. 34:26again is 888-589-8840. Questions? The two questions that I'd like you to answer. Or I guess a
  465. 34:38two part question, the first part. How do you feel about the country's direction now that we are
  466. 34:46firmly within the Trump administration.
  467. 34:51All right.
  468. 34:52Second question, what is the most important thing?
  469. 34:54Number one, not the top two, not the top three.
  470. 34:57What is the most important thing we need to pursue in your estimation for our nation
  471. 35:04at this juncture?
  472. 35:05That's what I'd like to hear from you.
  473. 35:07888-589-8840 is the number.
  474. 35:09The number again is 888-589-8840.
  475. 35:11Now, getting back to Pete Hagg-Seth and really the Trump administration, you could try to
  476. 35:17that's been it if you want, but that was just as an
  477. 35:19unforced error, you know, it's an unforced error. I think you
  478. 35:24probably see the elimination of tech of signal usage, what these
  479. 35:29types of communications, there will be some adjustments made. But
  480. 35:33that that that is an unforced error. Thankfully, it did not
  481. 35:36result in a compromise of the of any of our troops in the
  482. 35:44Yemen, excursion, thankfully.
  483. 35:49That is an unforced error.
  484. 35:52You know, I think they're legitimate questions as to why Jeff Goldberg stayed in the chat as
  485. 35:58long as he did and the way that it worked is that he was sent an invitation to join signal
  486. 36:05and to join the text group and he joined it.
  487. 36:10And when he realized that this is what he said now, I don't know if this is true, this
  488. 36:14is what he put in his article.
  489. 36:16And he realized he was actually a legitimate official communication that he finally exited,
  490. 36:24but not before he could write a story, of course.
  491. 36:27And so I think the Trump administration has handled it very well the fallout of the era.
  492. 36:31One, they hadn't hit run from it.
  493. 36:33They said it, yeah, that was a legitimate conversation.
  494. 36:36But then the second thing they did, which I think is also pretty wise to do, is to highlight
  495. 36:41the, say it this way, the type of writings that Jeffrey Goldberg likes has written in the
  496. 36:46past to simply bring to the fore, what would you, dear American citizen think Mr. Goldberg's
  497. 36:54motivation would be in staying in the group and writing this piece in light of what he's
  498. 37:00done in the past. I think it's a wise way to do so. And so you keep, I think they've
  499. 37:04been very effective in keeping clear evidence of an era from expanding, metastasizing into
  500. 37:12something bigger, because the reality is most of the American people will move on from
  501. 37:21the story tomorrow. Had however, the Trump administration tried to hide from it, try to
  502. 37:29obfuscate, try to lie about it, to not acknowledge the mistake, then I think the story would become
  503. 37:35bigger than it then would have become bigger than it is. But having confronted it the way
  504. 37:44have they have thus far. And I think there's some some technical qualification going on
  505. 37:49because a press secretary of levity said there was no classified information exchange in
  506. 37:54in the chat class of out of now,
  507. 37:57if you have the defense secretary saying two hours from now,
  508. 38:00the bombs are falling,
  509. 38:01and then two hours from then the bombs are falling.
  510. 38:03I think that's pretty official communication.
  511. 38:05But again, thankfully, none of our troops
  512. 38:07were compromised as a result of this.
  513. 38:11And so I think the way the Trump administration
  514. 38:12handled the fallout from the era
  515. 38:14is something that was effective in enabling them
  516. 38:16to keep the mistake from becoming something bigger
  517. 38:18than it should have been.
  518. 38:20All right, to the phone lines, we'll go, we'll start in Texas.
  519. 38:24And of course, y'all know I got all kind of other stuff
  520. 38:26that I was planning to get to.
  521. 38:30Hadn't been able to get to yet,
  522. 38:31but we'll go to the phone lines.
  523. 38:32We'll start in Texas where Jerry is on the line.
  524. 38:34Jerry, thank you for calling the Hamilton Corner.
  525. 38:36Welcome to the program.
  526. 38:38Thank you brother.
  527. 38:39Always a pleasure to love listening to you.
  528. 38:41Wanted to call in yesterday.
  529. 38:43I think first, I'm retired Navy,
  530. 38:47so I'm gonna use some vernacular here.
  531. 38:49We're kind of getting the ship turned back on course
  532. 38:52a little bit.
  533. 38:53We started to write it, but we're not there yet.
  534. 38:55I think that overall after reading George Barna's book and a few of these others Christians
  535. 39:01true believers in fellowship and relationship with Jesus Christ have some backbone to stiffen and start standing up straight and
  536. 39:11Pronouncing the truth however bad it goes against the grain
  537. 39:15And I think that from a homeschooler to a private school parent that the fact of the matter is is that for
  538. 39:23Christians when we talk to other people outside even in our community as brother and
  539. 39:28sister we need to get the term public school out of our mouth and government school needs
  540. 39:34to replace it because nobody can publicly walk into any school in this country.
  541. 39:38I'm going to let you go and comment brother.
  542. 39:41Pleasure as always.
  543. 39:42Terry, thank you for your call and your commentary.
  544. 39:43I mean the necessity of having a backbone as a believer really is intrinsic to Christ
  545. 39:51following me the scripture says the righteous are as bold as lions, you know, and so we have to
  546. 39:58have the wherewithal to stand and do what's necessary and that's not to say we're all human
  547. 40:06beings so we're all in face situations like this one is tough but courage is not the absence
  548. 40:14of concern it's a refusal to adjust our conduct in light of the concern.
  549. 40:19Back to the phone lines we'll go next to Iowa where Marty is on the line.
  550. 40:22Marty, thank you for calling the Hamilton Corner.
  551. 40:25Welcome to the program.
  552. 40:27Hey, man.
  553. 40:28What a privilege.
  554. 40:29What an honor.
  555. 40:30Yeah, I think it's just an absolute blast
  556. 40:34what we're going through.
  557. 40:36It is amazing to see this cabinet working together hand
  558. 40:41in hand and still having many of the liberal left.
  559. 40:45It's just freaking out.
  560. 40:47I pray for those poor people.
  561. 40:50I think a Chuck Schumer, my heart just breaks
  562. 40:53when I hear his voice, but I still, the second thing I think our number one priority still
  563. 41:01is the life issue that we have as Americans allowed millions die and it's mostly due to
  564. 41:14education where we have not taught, we believe lies like the word fetus thinking it's some
  565. 41:21fancy big word when it only means baby in the womb in another language.
  566. 41:27And we believe these lies in the repentance word God says, if my people who were called
  567. 41:36by my name will humble themselves, turn from their wicked ways.
  568. 41:47Then will I hear from heaven and I will heal your land.
  569. 41:54Thank you, Todd. Wow. Thank you so much for your concern for the innocent unborn babies.
  570. 41:59That's not just your concern. That's God's heart. And you said, you lamented the millions
  571. 42:05of children have been murdered in America. And I just have to say very soberly, the slaughter
  572. 42:11continues guys. It's not, it simply has changed from the majority happening via surgical abortions.
  573. 42:17And what I mean, surgical abortion, I'm talking about DNA abortions, dismembering
  574. 42:21babies later on in the gestational developmental stages, but now the majority of babies that
  575. 42:30are being murdered are being murdered chemically through these pills.
  576. 42:37So it is vitally important that we continue to contend to establish a culture to where
  577. 42:43murdering unborn children is an unthinkable phenomenon.
  578. 42:48Back to the phone lines, we'll go next to Arkansas where Todd is on the line.
  579. 42:51Todd, thank you for calling the Hamilton Corner. Welcome to the program.
  580. 42:56Abraham, I want to give you, you asked for the most important thing. I want to give you my top
  581. 43:01three right off the bat real quick. Number three is we need to get our military straightened out
  582. 43:10and built back up so that we're a strong presence in the world and we can hold our own and protect
  583. 43:16ourselves and those that can't. Number two, we need to get God back in the country. That
  584. 43:27is number one, really, but not everybody's going to do it. So we need to get as much as
  585. 43:33we can get Christians back involved in government. And number one is we need to let Eli must
  586. 43:41go through and eliminate a lot of the government, make this a smaller government, make this a
  587. 43:48more efficient government and make it a government providing and acting for the people not for
  588. 43:55all these politicians that are filling the pockets.
  589. 43:58Thank you, Todd, for your call in your comments. Now I was gracious to you, Todd. I say you
  590. 44:01top one you gave us three. Don't think I missed that, Todd. Thank you for calling, brother.
  591. 44:09Back to the phone lines. We go next to Kentucky where Greg is on the line. Greg, thank you
  592. 44:13for calling the Hamilton Corner. Welcome to the program.
  593. 44:17Abraham you are on target as always I love you brother I appreciate you using
  594. 44:22your intellect and your passion for the kingdom amen thank you for those kind
  595. 44:28words so you're so welcome there are well there's much to do I am pleased with the
  596. 44:34way we're going and especially on the heels of the news that you broke the
  597. 44:40story about the defunding the abortion mills how do you I just I literally let out a
  598. 44:47yell when I heard that. That's such good news. Number one priority, I think that Congress
  599. 44:55needs to rein in the district judges because it's going to continue to be law fair regardless
  600. 45:02of what President Trump tries to accomplish. Things are going to be bottled up, they're
  601. 45:08going to be slowed down in the court, and that needs to be our priority. So the rest of things
  602. 45:14Like the Planned Parenthood defunding can go through because I don't know how soon that's going to get to court, but I imagine it's going to be great next
  603. 45:22speed. And brother, I really appreciate your legal analysis too. It helps to lay them like myself better understand what's going on. So that's all I got for you, brother. I love you. Thank you for your ministry.
  604. 45:36Oh, thank you, Greg, for your call and your comments. So many different things. And one of the major reasons why I wanted to do this because I wanted our audience to see
  605. 45:44the wide swath of things that our fellow citizens recognize
  606. 45:50as high priorities to be pursued.
  607. 45:53And when we talk about the necessity of God
  608. 45:56being back in our country,
  609. 45:58that includes proclaiming the gospel and making disciples.
  610. 46:02You had this, just as an indication of how far a field
  611. 46:05our society has gone, did you all see the story
  612. 46:08to where DoorDash now is making it available
  613. 46:11for you to put your burrito on a payment plan.
  614. 46:15You can get your nachos on layaway now.
  615. 46:18Y'all think I'm joking.
  616. 46:19I'm not getting that all.
  617. 46:20DoorDash is into the financial partnership
  618. 46:23with a company called Klarna
  619. 46:25to where you can now use installment payments.
  620. 46:28You can finance your dashing for the door.
  621. 46:30Listen to you and watch this clip.
  622. 46:32Clip number three, go.
  623. 46:33So, what Klarna has a new partnership with DoorDash.
  624. 46:35It was just announced.
  625. 46:37Klarna is one of those big buy now pay later services
  626. 46:40where you can choose to buy something,
  627. 46:43and then you can split that up into payments
  628. 46:45or sort of push that payment off.
  629. 46:47And so this partnership with DoorDash,
  630. 46:49you're gonna see, when you open up the DoorDash app
  631. 46:51and you order something from your local pizza shop,
  632. 46:54you want it delivered, there's gonna be an option
  633. 46:56to buy now, pay later with Klarna.
  634. 46:58You can either fully pay,
  635. 46:59you can break it up into four installments
  636. 47:02that are interest-free, or you can pay later.
  637. 47:04This is really interesting.
  638. 47:05I mean, Klarna has announced that it is going to go public
  639. 47:08on the New York Stock Exchange.
  640. 47:09This is the first, or the second big partnership.
  641. 47:12They're also doing one with Walmart,
  642. 47:13that they've announced in a couple of weeks.
  643. 47:15The thing that gives me a little bit of anxiety read though,
  644. 47:18is we've seen these buy now, pay later things,
  645. 47:20get very popular with large clothing orders,
  646. 47:24but buy now, pay later for food.
  647. 47:26At some point, you are going to have to pay
  648. 47:29that balance that you have.
  649. 47:30And I was actually talking with an analyst
  650. 47:32about this earlier today, and he said,
  651. 47:34you know, this could be a recession indicator.
  652. 47:36people are putting more balances on their credit cards
  653. 47:39and as you start to see people do that
  654. 47:41with things like food and necessities like that,
  655. 47:44that's a little bit of a warning sign.
  656. 47:46Dad!
  657. 47:48Ha ha ha!
  658. 47:49I wanted you to hit that last little part,
  659. 47:51just so y'all far people will reach.
  660. 47:53You know, but look, I have a,
  661. 47:55I have an extreme idea for you.
  662. 47:58Here you go.
  663. 48:00If you can't afford your burrito,
  664. 48:05if you gotta have,
  665. 48:07if you wanna have Taco Tuesday,
  666. 48:09but you want to pay for it next Wednesday,
  667. 48:11you probably don't need a taco.
  668. 48:14Guys, this is insane.
  669. 48:16Why are you crazy?
  670. 48:18I was glad to play you on Saturday
  671. 48:21for the hand boigah that I have today.
  672. 48:25I'm presenting that to you guys
  673. 48:27to show you the level of insanity.
  674. 48:31Now we can understand that as it applies to DoorDash,
  675. 48:33but can somebody email Congress
  676. 48:37and let them know the same logic applies to you?
  677. 48:41Guys, this is crazy.
  678. 48:44And I understand DoorDash is expanding their offerings, right?
  679. 48:46It's more than just your pull-boy sandwich.
  680. 48:51But if you can't afford your taco supreme,
  681. 48:56you probably should wait until you can.
  682. 48:59Now, look, I'm gonna order my handboigler today,
  683. 49:05and then I'm gonna cash-app you to money next week,
  684. 49:08Tuesday, and give me a couple more weeks,
  685. 49:12then I'll pay interest on that burger,
  686. 49:15Because I'm loving it.
  687. 49:22Guys, that's insane.
  688. 49:24Continue to pray for our country.
  689. 49:26By God's grace, putting one foot in front of the other,
  690. 49:27we will move in the direction that God has ordained for us.
  691. 49:29Y'all have a wonderful evening.
