  2. 0:03It simply reoccupies the space vacated by the light.
  3. 0:06This is the Hamilton Corner on American Family Radio.
  4. 0:11It should be uncomfortable for a believer to live as a hypocrite.
  5. 0:15Delivery people out of the bondage of mainstream media.
  6. 0:18And the philosophies of this world.
  7. 0:20God has called you and me to be his ambassador.
  8. 0:24Even in this dark moment.
  9. 0:26Let's not miss our moment.
  10. 0:28and now the Hamilton Corner.
  11. 0:33Well good evening America, welcome to the Hamilton Corner.
  12. 0:36Alex McFarland here sitting in for attorney, broadcaster,
  13. 0:40pastor, journalist, Abe Hamilton III.
  14. 0:43We've got a great show.
  15. 0:44We really do later on in the program.
  16. 0:46We will meet with theologian and historian, Dr. Jerry Nukem,
  17. 0:50that is a close friend of AFR and the show.
  18. 0:54And we'll talk a little bit about Thanksgiving holiday
  19. 0:57coming up in the pilgrims.
  20. 0:58but also we'll get some of his thoughts about the passing
  21. 1:01of the first person that I ever interviewed on AFR
  22. 1:0616 years ago, and it was,
  23. 1:09I'm not gonna say it was an adversarial interview,
  24. 1:12but it was a bit of a debate,
  25. 1:14and it was Tony Campolo and myself,
  26. 1:16and he passed away, I don't know, 24 hours ago,
  27. 1:20and I'll talk about that, why I think it's significant,
  28. 1:24and why I think it's really a reminder
  29. 1:26be true to the Bible. But in this first half of the show, I'm very excited about the guest
  30. 1:32that we're going to visit with Jason Ho. And he is the author of a book called The Big
  31. 1:39Plot, The Return of the Phoenix. And I think the subtitle says it all, How China is Overtaking
  32. 1:46the U.S. by Network, Stealing, Influencing, Corrupting, and Crime. And as I bring this
  33. 1:54guest up. I'm reminded of C.S. Lewis. C.S. Lewis, as you may recall, he was a great
  34. 2:00apologist, defender of the faith. Well, Lewis was very famous for a lot of his books, like
  35. 2:05mere Christianity and the Chronicles of Narnia. But C.S. Lewis also wrote, kind of famously,
  36. 2:11a space trilogy. And you know, even though this was, Lewis died 61 years ago. He lived
  37. 2:181898 to 1963, but in that hideous strength and out of the silent planet in his science
  38. 2:29fiction work, Lewis talked about a time in the future where technology would rule people's
  39. 2:36minds and people would not be able to tell truth from fiction and really, whoever controlled
  40. 2:44the grid could control the narrative and control truth.
  41. 2:50And when you control how people think
  42. 2:52and what people are allowed to think,
  43. 2:54if you control what viewpoints are suppressed
  44. 2:57and what viewpoints are allowed to be expressed,
  45. 3:00you can control the lives of people.
  46. 3:04And you know, Lewis died way before the advent
  47. 3:08of the internet and certainly AI.
  48. 3:11But in a way, I think about how his warnings were really prophetic and others we could talk
  49. 3:17about were as well.
  50. 3:18But right now I want to bring our guest on Jason Ho and he has written a lot about AI
  51. 3:30and Bill Gates.
  52. 3:31November 1st of this year, just three weeks ago Bill Gates said that with the advent of
  53. 3:36AI, we would need to create new religions, new philosophies, man, ultimately ushering in
  54. 3:43utopia, which is false. But author, scholar Jason Ho, thank you for being with us on the
  55. 3:51Hamilton Corner, and thank you for availing the rest of us to your research. I look forward
  56. 3:58to getting to know you, Jason.
  57. 4:00I appreciate to have a chance to be here. I will be happy to discuss any topics you suggested.
  58. 4:06Well, give us a little bit of your background and not only your background, but what you
  59. 4:13see is the impact for good or bad, the impact of technology into our lives at this season
  60. 4:20of history.
  61. 4:21And myself, I was born Taiwan and I was the lead designer for joint strike fighter, the
  62. 4:31F-35 project of flight control and image display chips.
  63. 4:37I've been targeted at the first day I joined the program.
  64. 4:41I've been targeted at at least in Taiwan.
  65. 4:44I didn't know where.
  66. 4:45I thought Taiwan was on the US side, from education.
  67. 4:50We are trained.
  68. 4:51We learned we have to fight against the communist.
  69. 4:54So I believe I help in Taiwan is the best way
  70. 4:59to fight against communist and to keep the faith,
  71. 5:03because I was born in the Christian family.
  72. 5:05and my father was a general in the National List and he fought
  73. 5:11side by side with American during World War II.
  74. 5:13And so from my family influences, I thought and helping Taiwan is very critical.
  75. 5:20But I didn't know everything was a trap.
  76. 5:23And those Taiwanese elite actually, they are family members to the founder of the Communist Party members.
  77. 5:31and I've been trapped a little back to Taiwan,
  78. 5:34and they cannot stolen.
  79. 5:36So since then, now already 25 years,
  80. 5:40I'm still suffering their prosecutions.
  81. 5:43And that strengthens my faith,
  82. 5:46because that's only way,
  83. 5:47the only meaning I'm still here,
  84. 5:50standing still here can talk,
  85. 5:52and still can write books,
  86. 5:53still can try to use
  87. 5:55medical knowledge into the world to do something good.
  88. 5:58Wow, my goodness, my goodness.
  89. 6:03Talk to us if you would, Jason, and may God bless you and may God keep you safe.
  90. 6:08I am very honored to speak with you.
  91. 6:11But try to help Americans listening.
  92. 6:14Help us understand the threat of communism and the way that technology is actually being
  93. 6:21used as a tool to subvert the West and promote communism.
  94. 6:27China, the 5000 history is quite unique. I was born Taiwan, we've been sharing the Chinese
  95. 6:35story very well during our childhood. A lot of Westerners doesn't understand Chinese in 5000
  96. 6:43history. They really fought in the battlefield. They love to play chicks, they love to play games.
  97. 6:50In China, all the people in power always does a method.
  98. 6:55They can be your friend.
  99. 6:57Also, they can be your enemy.
  100. 6:59They play both sides.
  101. 7:01And always, the friendly side is the one that's showing you.
  102. 7:05So in this case,
  103. 7:07and China communists becoming a very obvious adversary
  104. 7:11to the US, but Taiwan, Taiwan elite,
  105. 7:15not the Taiwanese people, Taiwan elite.
  106. 7:18They actually playing the friends side
  107. 7:20be the American friend, be the Westerner friend,
  108. 7:24try to lure people and to come to the plate.
  109. 7:28Just like a fox come,
  110. 7:29how much they damage the Trump in the Wisconsin.
  111. 7:33Everyone they talk about fox come is a fraud,
  112. 7:35is a joke, but the Trump endorsed it.
  113. 7:38This is a very vivid example how Chinese play
  114. 7:42and also that's always the message I wanted to lead to people.
  115. 7:46And also let me say this from what I've learned,
  116. 7:50not only in my study of history, but in interviewing people,
  117. 7:54Brother Jason, the Chinese mindset is very patient
  118. 8:00and willing to invest long amounts of time
  119. 8:05to achieve objectives.
  120. 8:06Let me give you a case in point,
  121. 8:08because I think Americans view history very quickly
  122. 8:13with a short attention span.
  123. 8:15Many years ago, Henry Kissinger,
  124. 8:18who was a diplomat on behalf of America,
  125. 8:22was visiting with Cho in Lai.
  126. 8:25And they were talking, this would have been
  127. 8:28a very famous anecdote in the 1970s.
  128. 8:30And they were just talking about history
  129. 8:32in East and West and Europe and China.
  130. 8:35And Henry Kissinger asked Cho in Lai,
  131. 8:40what do you think of the French Revolution?
  132. 8:43And Cho in Lai said, it's too soon to tell.
  133. 8:47and of course two or two years ago.
  134. 8:50So help us understand that Chinese communism,
  135. 8:57in terms of incrementally slowly getting dominance
  136. 9:02over the West and the USA,
  137. 9:05they're patient and willing to be in this
  138. 9:09for the long term, aren't they?
  139. 9:12That's correct.
  140. 9:13My book just tried to expand people.
  141. 9:16How China Communist started almost no power,
  142. 9:21no resources, really the people to a regime
  143. 9:26or to an entity to an organization controlling the world.
  144. 9:29I tried to unveil and what's happening behind
  145. 9:33usually ignored and people not pay attention
  146. 9:37about the Chinese intention.
  147. 9:40So actually my father's teacher was joined
  148. 9:43like the founder of Chinese Communist Party
  149. 9:45because Zhonglai was a nationalist before his switch side to the communist.
  150. 9:52But in Chinese history, I wrote in my book, actually Zhonglai didn't switch.
  151. 9:58And a lot of people talk about that Zhonglai was nationalist, then switched to communist.
  152. 10:03This is a very common in China.
  153. 10:05That's my book one through and a lot of people.
  154. 10:09Zhonglai was very high level people of nationalist.
  155. 10:13He also was very high level people of communist.
  156. 10:17In Chinese, logic, there's no contradiction.
  157. 10:20American might think, oh, I'm Republican.
  158. 10:23I cannot support Democrats.
  159. 10:25Oh, I'm Democrats that cannot.
  160. 10:27And for any Republican and the strategies,
  161. 10:30but China is different.
  162. 10:32You can see one thing and the moon,
  163. 10:36and you can see another thing at the night.
  164. 10:39For example, Foxconn CEO, the Terrigor.
  165. 10:42And he mentioned at the morning,
  166. 10:45he interviewed by the Chinese media.
  167. 10:48He mentioned unification between Taiwan and China,
  168. 10:51actually important when he went back to Taiwan.
  169. 10:54Switch aside, he said, no,
  170. 10:56we must help Taiwan fight against communist.
  171. 11:00For Chinese people, for Chinese culture,
  172. 11:03there's nothing wrong.
  173. 11:04I don't think there's anything wrong.
  174. 11:06A lot of Taiwanese actually think
  175. 11:08Terrigal is a very, very, very powerful person because he can play both sides, he can talk
  176. 11:15both sides still, be a very powerful person.
  177. 11:18So that's very different Americans.
  178. 11:20So that's, I think, that's mentioned.
  179. 11:22That's what people didn't pay attention to or didn't notice that.
  180. 11:27Among not government leaders, but among the population, the general population, what percentage
  181. 11:36in China, if you can quantify this with a number, how many of the Chinese population
  182. 11:43would be Christian?
  183. 11:45This is a very sad story, and that's why I was sorry to talk a little bit different.
  184. 11:53I was almost pointing to and died 2019.
  185. 12:00I prayed at the church, and luckily I recovered, and definitely the community just didn't want
  186. 12:06me to survive.
  187. 12:08So that's my saddest part.
  188. 12:10When I look at those, I went to this many times, when I talk American elites, the Christian
  189. 12:15members and the time of 2019, when I start to contact them, it's about 80 million and
  190. 12:25Christians in China.
  191. 12:27Nowadays, I don't know.
  192. 12:29I don't know.
  193. 12:30Most church has been tuned down.
  194. 12:32And if you declare your question, you declare, and you face on Bible, you will be arrested
  195. 12:38in China.
  196. 12:39This is a thought crime.
  197. 12:41And I don't know how many women and probably a few million, but in public.
  198. 12:47Probably we cannot find anyone.
  199. 12:50A thought crime, you say.
  200. 12:52That's correct.
  201. 12:54Because this is a new God.
  202. 12:56And the new God is not people think it's communist.
  203. 12:59No, it's not so stupid.
  204. 13:01They won't make themselves a new god.
  205. 13:03Their new god is the globalist.
  206. 13:06So in my book, I want to call the people attention.
  207. 13:08You talk about the Kissinger.
  208. 13:10And after he went to China,
  209. 13:12this very important change happened.
  210. 13:14Then she'll be making an order to help to support
  211. 13:18the war to come before him and started.
  212. 13:21So China was funding him.
  213. 13:23Yeah.
  214. 13:24It would come before him.
  215. 13:25And so the new god is the new agenda.
  216. 13:30And they said the Great Reset, or they said it's a new word order.
  217. 13:35And that's new God that Chinese Communist want to push people to believe in.
  218. 13:41Behind closed doors among the Chinese leaders, what do you think their reaction to the election of Donald Trump has been?
  219. 13:50That's interesting, but always the one to tell people.
  220. 13:54And Chinese Communist, and there's no
  221. 13:57no formal study or there's no report, but the former understanding is about 17 factions.
  222. 14:06Chinese Communist is not a unity.
  223. 14:10I always say Chinese Communist is a paper tiger because inside there are so many conflicts.
  224. 14:16So many many many.
  225. 14:18So many factions, so many conflicts inside people didn't aware China actually paper tigers.
  226. 14:24The problem is I said America too many paper docs.
  227. 14:28So make a China look so strong.
  228. 14:31And unfortunately, I went to go buy the China.
  229. 14:34They are so afraid that they are so worried.
  230. 14:35They look at how they have the power of China.
  231. 14:37We've got a break.
  232. 14:39Forgive me, we've got a break.
  233. 14:40We're going to come back.
  234. 14:42Author, scholar, truth teller, Jason Ho.
  235. 14:48The website Techlium Inc., Techlium T-E-K-L-I-U-M Inc.
  236. 14:53Stay tuned, Alex MacFarlane here,
  237. 14:55more on the Hamilton Corner after this break.
  238. 14:58Don't go away.
  239. 15:01A discipleship minute with Joseph Parker.
  240. 15:04Looking in the book of Romans, Romans 12,
  241. 15:07beginning at verse one.
  242. 15:09I beseech you there for brethren by the mercies of God,
  243. 15:12that you present your bodies a living sacrifice,
  244. 15:15holy, acceptable to God,
  245. 15:16which is your reasonable service.
  246. 15:19And do not be conformed to this world,
  247. 15:22but be transformed by the renewing of your mind,
  248. 15:25that you may prove what is that good and acceptable
  249. 15:27and perfect will of God.
  250. 15:30For I say through the grace given to me,
  251. 15:32to everyone who is among you,
  252. 15:33not to thank himself more highly than he ought to think,
  253. 15:36but to think soberly as God has dealt to each one,
  254. 15:38a measure of faith, and individually members of one another.
  255. 15:44Father, we thank you once again for the wisdom,
  256. 15:46the powerful grace, the powerful understanding,
  257. 15:49and insight that is ours,
  258. 15:50as we spend time with you one on one in your word,
  259. 15:53each and every day.
  260. 15:54We thank you.
  261. 15:55We praise you in Jesus' name.
  262. 15:57We do pray.
  263. 15:58Amen.
  264. 16:01We have to know what we're looking for in a judicial nominee.
  265. 16:04According to Philip Jaragge, choosing a federal judge nominee is more important than people
  266. 16:09may realize.
  267. 16:10Supreme Court justice is under the Constitution.
  268. 16:12They serve.
  269. 16:13The Constitution says during good behavior.
  270. 16:17Well, that really means life.
  271. 16:18The stakes are high and failure can be devastating.
  272. 16:22We've gotten it wrong about 50% of the time.
  273. 16:25Supreme Court nominees. Had we gotten at just 75% of the time correct, we wouldn't be in the
  274. 16:31position we're in today. Federal judges have the ability to change the direction of our nation
  275. 16:36for better or for worse. That's why we need to understand the role judges play. What's
  276. 16:41their purpose? What are the guiding principles that shape who they are and how they use their
  277. 16:45authority? Learn about that and more with the AFA Cultural Institute DVD, Principles of
  278. 16:51a constitutional judge with Philip Jaregi.
  279. 16:54It's available now at resources.afa.net.
  280. 16:58Resources.afa.net.
  281. 17:06Shiting lightning to the darkness.
  282. 17:08This is the Hamilton Corner, an American family radio.
  283. 17:13Welcome back to the program, Alex McFarlane here.
  284. 17:16You know, it's always fascinating to hear people's stories
  285. 17:18and author, researcher, Jason Ho.
  286. 17:23I mean, his journey from Taiwan to the West to America
  287. 17:28is kind of like a movie script, really.
  288. 17:32And Jason, I wanna thank you for being with us.
  289. 17:34The website, TheBigPlot.us, for one of his books,
  290. 17:38TheBigPlot.us, fascinating content.
  291. 17:42You know, how the American people understand,
  292. 17:48you said something in the previous break
  293. 17:49that communism in China is not perhaps as strong as we might think because of the various factions,
  294. 17:58like 17 splinter groups. After that I was not aware of that. So it is not the monolith that many of us might assume.
  295. 18:08Is that correct?
  296. 18:09That's correct. As I mentioned, about the 50% communist, China communist elite,
  297. 18:17They have children.
  298. 18:19They are Americans.
  299. 18:21Always, this is very common in the Communist Party.
  300. 18:24They must have their children as American,
  301. 18:26because they don't have faith in their own country.
  302. 18:29Also, they don't have a faith.
  303. 18:31They can survive in their horrible struggle,
  304. 18:35in their very volatile and political environment.
  305. 18:40And this is something I hope Americans understand.
  306. 18:44actually they are very strong influence by the American. Also, they are very much following the
  307. 18:50chumps and chumps ideas. For all of its vast land size and all of the vast population and the
  308. 19:01technology and the money, I mean, there is among many westerners, myself included, I mean,
  309. 19:08there's the perception that China is the world superpower right now.
  310. 19:13Is that accurate?
  311. 19:17China is not as people think.
  312. 19:20China is just a shell.
  313. 19:23The shell seems so strong because the shell is not China.
  314. 19:27Mostly is Taiwan elites, like Taiwan's semiconductor,
  315. 19:31Taiwan IT industry, and also Taiwan intelligence community.
  316. 19:37People didn't notice that.
  317. 19:38They deeply infiltrate the Western intelligence and the communities to spread information to
  318. 19:46tell people how strong China is.
  319. 19:49In past four years, four million China companies bankrupt, medium-sized above, four million companies.
  320. 19:58In China, almost 30% people and on the age losing their jobs.
  321. 20:04Their society is not stable.
  322. 20:07The Chinese government run out of money.
  323. 20:09They use that shell to keep people think China's so strong.
  324. 20:13Even people, we don't follow closely
  325. 20:15where the money coming from
  326. 20:16and we say that China is very powerful country.
  327. 20:20Do you feel like the computer grids in America,
  328. 20:25not only just people's personal data,
  329. 20:29but even government classified information
  330. 20:33like the Pentagon has our grid
  331. 20:37and our digital assets been compromised by China.
  332. 20:42Definitely, because the American elite, I said,
  333. 20:44in China's paper tigers, we have so many paper dogs here.
  334. 20:49I love to serve the Chinese.
  335. 20:52And unfortunately, they can't show cloud,
  336. 20:55they can't show internet,
  337. 20:57they can't show information in Hollywood media.
  338. 21:00So give people image China is so wonderful, so powerful.
  339. 21:04They hide all the troubles each of China.
  340. 21:07They mislead people, misguided people,
  341. 21:09and think we had to be very careful of China.
  342. 21:12We have to trade very carefully.
  343. 21:14If we do something around China, super tall,
  344. 21:16can retaliate us.
  345. 21:17It's not the case, China very weak.
  346. 21:20Husband example, China is so proud of Husband,
  347. 21:23and they think they trained then.
  348. 21:25They helped them build tunnels.
  349. 21:27But how long does it take for Israel to do this on them?
  350. 21:30Just a few days.
  351. 21:32Do you feel like, to what degree, if any,
  352. 21:38are Chinese communists in a league with Islamic terrorists?
  353. 21:45And they tried quite every day, Kim,
  354. 21:48and the Chinese communist CVM,
  355. 21:51just the program manager, actually Chinese the owner,
  356. 21:55but when hospitals are being destroyed,
  357. 21:58This is a very terrible setback for the Chinese regime.
  358. 22:02The issue is, and the China deeply infiltrate
  359. 22:06through the big techs, through their friends
  360. 22:09in America and worldwide.
  361. 22:11And to understand every information we have,
  362. 22:16the nomator is classified non-classified.
  363. 22:19But Israel attack on hospital is a wake up call
  364. 22:22because Chinese realize based on their compromised data
  365. 22:26analysis, they cannot know the events to have Hasabala to be prepared for Israel attack.
  366. 22:32So I think wind is changing now.
  367. 22:36So fascinating.
  368. 22:39The big plot that U.S., the website for your book, what is the premise of your book?
  369. 22:45And this is the book one I talk about the Return of the Phoenix.
  370. 22:49Phoenix is very important.
  371. 22:50very important symbol for China is a powerful help to decivilize the humanity. So this first
  372. 22:58book I talked about from the early 1900s, how the Communist Party formed until year 2000,
  373. 23:06and their plan to decivilize the world. And probably people can find many similarities
  374. 23:12what have happened in China. Now it's happening worldwide today through the book.
  375. 23:16And how many volumes are there in your books?
  376. 23:22And there will be two more volumes
  377. 23:24and I'm keep writing it and hopefully
  378. 23:28and I will have every year have the next book available.
  379. 23:34You're out of Taiwan, you're an American citizen.
  380. 23:39Do you ever look over your shoulder
  381. 23:42and feel like though you're being surveilled
  382. 23:46or you're being followed or watched?
  383. 23:49I'm terribly terribly and under the heavy surveillance.
  384. 23:54And every day there's thousands of negative internet posts
  385. 24:01against me, talk about what I'm doing.
  386. 24:05They're always strangers, so they're outside my door.
  387. 24:08I've been kidnapped twice, gone shot at twice,
  388. 24:12and I've been wrongfully arrested, almost dying jail, and I almost poisoned in 2019.
  389. 24:19So I have an imaginable turbulence life, turbulent life.
  390. 24:26Well, we need to keep you in prayer and may God keep you safe. One last question and we're
  391. 24:32going to have to change gears. Has the current DOJ been compromised by influence or operatives
  392. 24:42from China. I believe they are more not in the DOJ also they are more in the RIS that's what I've
  393. 24:51encountered. My case has been presented by the intelligence community to the FBI but they just
  394. 24:58and close the case with so the overwhelming evidence about those people and the compromised
  395. 25:05the US security. So as Joe Biden transitions out, Donald Trump and his cabinet are inaugurated,
  396. 25:17come January. Are there still moles at various parts of the government, in your opinion?
  397. 25:24I think China have moles on both sides. That's the problem for the Chinese Communist Party.
  398. 25:31They are paper tigers, but the problem is not very smart. They won't put a mole on the one
  399. 25:35They were put on both sides.
  400. 25:38And so my book is tried to disclose who are moles.
  401. 25:42Okay.
  402. 25:43The big plot.
  403. 25:46That is correct.
  404. 25:48Okay.
  405. 25:49So folks, fascinating.
  406. 25:50I'm wanting to read this myself.
  407. 25:53Where are the moles?
  408. 25:54Who are the moles?
  409. 25:56It's in the bigplot.us, that book.
  410. 26:00Well, Jason Ho, I want to thank you for being with us.
  411. 26:06I think this will be the first of many conversations.
  412. 26:11Godspeed, be safe, stand strong, my brother.
  413. 26:16Yes, I just hope my prayer is I can deliver God's word
  414. 26:19through my books.
  415. 26:20I want to wake up.
  416. 26:22People understand the challenges, understand.
  417. 26:25They will prevail.
  418. 26:27Indeed, indeed, God bless you.
  419. 26:29Thank you so much.
  420. 26:30Well, folks, Alex McFarland here,
  421. 26:31we're gonna change gears in just a moment.
  422. 26:34We've got a guest coming up, Dr. Jerry Nukem,
  423. 26:36historian, author, broadcaster that you're familiar with him, I know. I want to give a big shout
  424. 26:43out to the Cove. That's where I was today. And you know, this week, November 18-25 is the
  425. 26:50pickup weeks for Operation Christmas Child and the shoeboxes, OCC, Samaritan's Purse. And
  426. 26:56I was in a board meeting at the Cove earlier today and Will Graham, son of Franklin Graham,
  427. 27:02talking about the 4500 drop-off locations. And let me encourage you if you haven't packed
  428. 27:08a shoebox for a child, a toy, maybe some hygiene items, but these go around the world with the
  429. 27:15gospel and please pray and participate in Operation Christmas Child. We hardly endorse
  430. 27:20it. I want to encourage people also to check out my own website which is AlexMcFarlane.com.
  431. 27:26There are a lot of articles that I write for many, many websites, town hall, Epoch Times,
  432. 27:32Daily Caller, American Family Association, The Stand, and a couple of things I would make
  433. 27:37you aware of.
  434. 27:40The Cove, the Billy Graham Training Center in Western North Carolina.
  435. 27:43I'll be there next summer twice.
  436. 27:46I've been there for 20 summers, but next summer I'm doing two.
  437. 27:50Now July 18th through 20, I'll be teaching the book of Job at the Cove.
  438. 27:54Why do the righteous suffer?
  439. 27:56then I'll also be doing, at the end of July and the first of August, an apologetic seminar
  440. 28:02with J. Warner Wallace, Jim Wallace, the famed Los Angeles homicide detective, became a great
  441. 28:08Christian defender of the faith. He and I are going to be doing what we call IBT, intensive
  442. 28:14Bible training on apologetics. And the website is thecove.org, T-H-E-C-O-V-E, thecove.org.
  443. 28:24And sign up a trip to the Cove, you'll never forget it, it's amazing, be a great Christmas
  444. 28:29gift and I would love to be able to both times when I go there to teach the Bible and when
  445. 28:35I go there to teach apologetics to pack the place and would love to see you there.
  446. 28:41Well, right now I'm going to bring up from the Providence Forum and D. James Kennedy
  447. 28:45Ministries, a long time friend and colleague, Dr. Jerry Newcomb.
  448. 28:49A couple of things I want to talk about, not the list of which is the documentary on the
  449. 28:54pilgrims that we, a couple of years ago, I think probably in about 2022, we got a copy of this.
  450. 29:03And I showed it twice in Greensboro, almost packed a church on two consecutive Wednesday
  451. 29:10nights.
  452. 29:11It's amazing.
  453. 29:12But Dr. Jerry Nukem, are you there my friend?
  454. 29:15Yes.
  455. 29:17Oh, yeah.
  456. 29:18Well, thanks for...
  457. 29:19Dr. Jeremy.
  458. 29:20evening and thanks for being with us doctor
  459. 29:23sure thank you
  460. 29:24yet there's several things i want to run by you but before we get into it
  461. 29:28uh... too much i want you to give your website the documentaries
  462. 29:31uh... in addition to the pilgrims documentary what are some of the other
  463. 29:35films you've created with the providence form
  464. 29:39yes i have created a whole series of
  465. 29:43seven
  466. 29:44films on america's dureo christian roots
  467. 29:48and i call it the foundation of american liberty
  468. 29:51uh... films
  469. 29:52uh... american and basically with somebody asked well what's the foundation of
  470. 29:56american liberty and the answer is are to do christian heritage
  471. 30:00and so these films that the first one by the way in the whole seven part
  472. 30:04series and they all stand alone in the words you could see one
  473. 30:08and you don't need to see the other if you see
  474. 30:11episode two you don't have to have seen episode one to understand things
  475. 30:15but basically I go from the pilgrims to city on a hill
  476. 30:19to the Bible and education,
  477. 30:21that episode I called the beginning wisdom,
  478. 30:24that I deal with the road to independence,
  479. 30:26George Washington, endowed by their creator,
  480. 30:29which is all about the Declaration of Independence,
  481. 30:31and then also we the people.
  482. 30:33And the goal was to basically show
  483. 30:36that the Judeo-Christian tradition had a lot to do
  484. 30:39with the founding of America,
  485. 30:41when you really get back
  486. 30:43uh... you know to
  487. 30:45to uh...
  488. 30:46you know that especially during the settling era but even during the founding
  489. 30:50era
  490. 30:51a lot of people want to say well
  491. 30:53okay we agree that the pilgrims in the puritan and the quakers or whatever
  492. 30:57founded these different early settlements
  493. 31:00but by the time you get to the founding fathers these were
  494. 31:04then that basically
  495. 31:05uh... were
  496. 31:07non-believers for all practical purposes
  497. 31:10and Christianity and the Bible didn't influence
  498. 31:13their thinking and it's actually not true.
  499. 31:16There were some with some questionable views religiously
  500. 31:20but even they were a lot closer to a biblical perspective
  501. 31:27on government than what they're giving credit for.
  502. 31:30Yeah, indeed, indeed.
  503. 31:33With Thanksgiving just a week from Thursday,
  504. 31:36I wanna talk about the pilgrims for just a moment.
  505. 31:39I also want to solicit your thoughts
  506. 31:42about some of the current theological landscape
  507. 31:46we find ourselves in,
  508. 31:47but where can people find the videos?
  509. 31:50And folks, again, I cannot overstate
  510. 31:52how powerful the pilgrims documentary is.
  511. 31:56Like I say, our ministry showed it in Greensboro,
  512. 32:00my hometown.
  513. 32:01We promoted and got huge audiences both nights.
  514. 32:06We showed it and just glowing reviews,
  515. 32:08But Dr. Nukem, where can people find these videos?
  516. 32:13At ProvidenceForum.org, ProvidenceForum.org.
  517. 32:19And the name of the series is the foundation
  518. 32:22of American liberty.
  519. 32:26Why should Thanksgiving be very significant
  520. 32:30and near and dear to the hearts of all Americans,
  521. 32:34but especially Christian Americans?
  522. 32:38Well, I think as a starting point,
  523. 32:40it's actually just an annual reminder of our Christian roots.
  524. 32:45I mean, thanksgiving is in reference to God,
  525. 32:49setting aside a day, theoretically,
  526. 32:52for Americans to give thanks to God
  527. 32:54because of his blessings in us becoming a nation.
  528. 32:58And the tradition we have, of course,
  529. 33:00is in the mold of the pilgrims.
  530. 33:04Believe it or not, before they even came,
  531. 33:06year before they even came there was a Thanksgiving proclamation in Jamestown.
  532. 33:11You know, again, Thanksgiving to God. Then by the time you get to the founding
  533. 33:18fathers during the time of the American War for Independence and so forth, the
  534. 33:23Continental Congress declared Thanksgiving, days of Thanksgiving. George
  535. 33:29Washington, our first president under the U.S. Constitution, was the first to
  536. 33:34declare a national day of Thanksgiving.
  537. 33:37And that's it for today.
  538. 33:38Forgive me Dr. Newcomb.
  539. 33:39We've got a brief break.
  540. 33:40Alex McFarland here with Dr.
  541. 33:42Jerry Newcomb.
  542. 33:43More about the world and our
  543. 33:45witness in it.
  544. 33:47Stay tuned.
  545. 33:48We're back after this brief break with more of the Hamilton corner on the American Family
  546. 33:52Radio Network.
  547. 33:53Streaming.AFA.net has now become
  548. 34:03AFA Stream.
  549. 34:04And you can find it at
  550. 34:06stream.AFA.net.
  551. 34:08You see, we removed the other's I-N-G.
  552. 34:10ING.
  553. 34:11Our experts have determined that eliminating those three keystrokes multiplied over hundreds
  554. 34:16of thousands of AFA stream visits could reduce the national debt and maybe increase the gross
  555. 34:21domestic product.
  556. 34:23AFA stream, formerly streaming.afa.net, improvements to the economy are purely theoretical.
  557. 34:30The Hamilton Quarter Podcast and One-Minute Common Terrets are available at eFR.net.
  558. 34:40to the Hamilton Corner on American Family Radio.
  559. 34:46Welcome back to the program.
  560. 34:47Alex McFarland here, talking with Dr. Jerry Nukem.
  561. 34:50I would encourage you to go back AFR.net as in American Family Radio.net and listen again
  562. 34:57to the first half of the show as well.
  563. 35:01Taiwanese refugee almost, American citizen Jason Ho, author of The Big Plot, very insightful,
  564. 35:11So is our current friend with whom we visit Dr. Jerry Newcomb.
  565. 35:16And Dr. Newcomb, before the break, we were talking about the pilgrims and the pilgrim video.
  566. 35:23And I want you to finish any thoughts on that.
  567. 35:25But I want to segue for the time we have left and talk about worldview,
  568. 35:29and how one's beliefs about God and morals, and especially even about history,
  569. 35:38how, as R.C. Sproul would say, ideas have consequences.
  570. 35:43We'll get there.
  571. 35:44But continue the thought about the Pilgrim's video
  572. 35:48and how the founders were not deists, not secularists,
  573. 35:54like people thought.
  574. 35:55They really did infuse our founding principles
  575. 35:59with biblical truths by design.
  576. 36:02And we should not forget that, but continue, please.
  577. 36:07Sure. So in one of the things I show or try to, you know, bring home in the Pilgrim's
  578. 36:14video is that when the Pilgrims were blown off course in 1620, in the voyage of the Mayflower,
  579. 36:25and they had had a few strangers that they had hired that were sympathetic to their goal
  580. 36:31to create this Bible commonwealth, in the new world, this Bible-based colony.
  581. 36:38But since they were blown off course, they were not under any government's jurisdiction.
  582. 36:43The permission they had from the authorities in England to create this colony, that permission
  583. 36:52did not apply because they were in uncharted territory, or not uncharted territory, but
  584. 36:58territory that they weren't officially allowed to
  585. 37:01so
  586. 37:03what the pilgrims and of the doing is they created world history
  587. 37:06they made an agreement
  588. 37:08for self-government under god
  589. 37:10it's called the may flower compact and it became the first step
  590. 37:14ultimately
  591. 37:15in the american experiment of creating
  592. 37:18uh...
  593. 37:20the declaration of independence
  594. 37:22and the constitution on hundred and fifty years later
  595. 37:25In other words, an agreement for self-government under God, the consent of the governed, which
  596. 37:31the men would sign, which is the custom of the day.
  597. 37:35And this is really an amazing thing because basically what they did was they applied the
  598. 37:39biblical concept of covenant to create their colony.
  599. 37:45And then after them, lots of Puritan colonies that were created in the Quakers and later
  600. 37:51the Presbyterians and so forth did the same thing.
  601. 37:54In other words, the biblical concept of covenant ultimately gave rise to the American Constitution.
  602. 38:02And so this is a really important point brought out in this series of specials.
  603. 38:08And I was so pleased with the different guests that we had, but in the example of the pilgrims
  604. 38:13video, they're the ones that really started that process in the capital of the Mayflower,
  605. 38:19in the name of God, Amen, having undertaken a voyage for the glory of God and the advancement
  606. 38:24of the Christian faith.
  607. 38:26You know, this is what they created.
  608. 38:28And so in our series on the Christian faith
  609. 38:32and the role it played in America,
  610. 38:35we have all kinds of different guests,
  611. 38:36such as Dennis Prager,
  612. 38:38Oz Guinness, Eric Mataksis, John Eidsmoke, Al Beisner,
  613. 38:41Gives Peter Lilback, Father Leon Hutton,
  614. 38:46the late Walter Williams, Marshall Foster Daniel,
  615. 38:49drives back, Darrell White, and so forth.
  616. 38:51So I was very, very pleased the way this all came together.
  617. 38:56Sure.
  618. 38:57You know, all those names you mentioned, including Dennis Prager, it's been my privilege to interview
  619. 39:02all of those people, and maybe one or two at most I haven't interviewed.
  620. 39:07But this is just an all-star cast of great thinkers and analysts.
  621. 39:12And you know, I've got to ask you this, okay, you know, November 5th was kind of a windfall
  622. 39:21for those of us that are Christian constitutionalists, we care about America,
  623. 39:27kind of reminded me, Jerry, do you remember back when Reagan was running for reelection, the 84
  624. 39:33election? And I mean, it was a Republican sweep from coast to coast, really. And I remember a very
  625. 39:41rabbled Dan Rather, he said, this is a fairytale night for Republicans. I mean, it was like that.
  626. 39:48that. You know, with the prospect, or should I say the threat of Kamala Harris and socialists,
  627. 39:58you know, taking over our government and the imposition of transgender ideology and viewpoint
  628. 40:05suppression. And suddenly, you know, election night brought overwhelming good news for those
  629. 40:12of us that love God in country. Here's my question. Do you feel like is it too much of
  630. 40:18a stretch to say God intervened? I mean, July 13th, Donald Trump could have been killed
  631. 40:25and he wasn't. I mean, that bullet missed his skull by millimeters. And so Trump was spared.
  632. 40:33He was spared again in Florida. He won by 10 million votes. Is it fair to say God has
  633. 40:41given america a second chance
  634. 40:46i think so but i also think
  635. 40:48it's it
  636. 40:50first of all i'm very happy
  637. 40:52about this because i i don't like the way
  638. 40:55the the whole byd and here's uh...
  639. 40:58you know administration was taking the country
  640. 41:01in you know
  641. 41:02even in terms of everything the illegal
  642. 41:05immigrants the
  643. 41:07cancel culture the transgender agenda all those different things
  644. 41:12a promotion of abortion. It's almost as if Kamala Harris' big campaign promise was vote
  645. 41:19for me and I'll make sure that abortion is allowed up to the moment of birth. And she even was asked,
  646. 41:26well, what about, you know, let's say, Catholic institutions, Catholic hospitals that don't
  647. 41:32want to do abortions? And she said that there should be no restrictions on abortions. And
  648. 41:36So implied in what she was offering was that there would be no conscience rights for those
  649. 41:42who disagree with abortion.
  650. 41:45So all of a sudden you're saying a Catholic hospital or Baptist hospital for that matter
  651. 41:49would have to do abortions against their conscience.
  652. 41:52I mean America was founded for conscience rights.
  653. 41:55So this is really critical.
  654. 41:58Yes, I feel very happy about this and I would add to it, we absolutely need a spiritual transformation.
  655. 42:06We need to add to it that the people themselves need to be moral.
  656. 42:11As John Adams put it, our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people.
  657. 42:17It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.
  658. 42:21And so in the ultimate sense, revival is the key.
  659. 42:26And more people are truly getting saved.
  660. 42:30I'm not happy that abortion as an issue.
  661. 42:34almost like the pro-life side of things as well. We'll just deal with that later. But
  662. 42:40between the two, one was radically pro-abortion in every way. The other was at least allowing
  663. 42:48some common sense restrictions on the abortion. Anyway, but the need ultimately is a change in
  664. 42:56transformation of the heart and the hearts of the people. But overall, it was a refreshing thing.
  665. 43:03And by the way, I was there in the place in Palm Beach County, just one hour north of here.
  666. 43:12I didn't stay up all night and waiting till Trump came to give his speech,
  667. 43:20but it was very electric. And I saw a video later and I was like, oh, I recognize the room.
  668. 43:26Oh, there was the lady that took my ID and let me in because I saw her with a distinct dress or
  669. 43:33or whatever, and this impromptu singing of how great that was in the hallway.
  670. 43:40Really?
  671. 43:41See, I did stay up.
  672. 43:43I stayed up until 3.45 watching all of that.
  673. 43:47Yeah.
  674. 43:49So you were there, shame on you.
  675. 43:51You were there and you didn't stay to the very end.
  676. 43:55Well, I told my wife later, oh, somebody had told me, you know, this is how it would
  677. 43:59have turned out.
  678. 44:00to get from red bull or coffee or Coca-Cola or something.
  679. 44:06But, so there was this impromptu singing of how great that art.
  680. 44:13Yeah.
  681. 44:14That's a viral video.
  682. 44:16If you just googled how great that art, Trump, or what was the date?
  683. 44:24It technically was November 6 and the wee hours of the morning.
  684. 44:27It would have been in the wee hours.
  685. 44:28You know what, Jerry, I was at the RNC convention in Milwaukee.
  686. 44:33I was up there with the Wisconsin Family Policy Council
  687. 44:36and Charlie Kirk.
  688. 44:37We spoke to a lot of youth.
  689. 44:40It was like that folks, I will say this,
  690. 44:43the RNC way back in August.
  691. 44:46I mean, it was like a revival meeting.
  692. 44:48I mean, you could not go into the vestibule of the,
  693. 44:53it was a big colosseum, like 20,000 people there,
  694. 44:56but like anytime day or night, if you went out into the lobby,
  695. 45:01there were prayer groups and I was walking around
  696. 45:04and you were hearing people, yeah, they were praying for America,
  697. 45:07they were praying for revival.
  698. 45:09And I was over hearing people pray for lost people.
  699. 45:14And look, I get it, my hope is not in a political party.
  700. 45:19My hope is in the dear Lord Jesus Christ.
  701. 45:22But Dr. Nunez, I think the Spirit of God is moving
  702. 45:25in this country.
  703. 45:27And you could speak to this far better than I,
  704. 45:30but when revival comes, yes, it touches the church house
  705. 45:35and it touches families,
  706. 45:37but when a real move of God's Holy Spirit permeates a nation,
  707. 45:41it touches the social fabric too, doesn't it?
  708. 45:45Oh, absolutely.
  709. 45:47And in fact, you could argue,
  710. 45:50and I think this is true,
  711. 45:52that the first great awakening,
  712. 45:55which was a spiritual move up and down the Atlantic coast
  713. 45:59in the 1730s, beginning in the 1730s in Massachusetts
  714. 46:03with Jonathan Edwards then spread around the whole,
  715. 46:07the rest of the colonies through George Whitfield
  716. 46:11and other preachers, but George Whitfield in particular,
  717. 46:14that helped create the United States
  718. 46:19as a united nation.
  719. 46:21And then with the second grade away thing,
  720. 46:24which happened in the early 1800s,
  721. 46:27that move really helped to prick people's conscience
  722. 46:32and work against slavery.
  723. 46:37We're almost out of time,
  724. 46:39two quick things first quickly and then not so quickly,
  725. 46:42your website.
  726. 46:44And folks, let me encourage you,
  727. 46:45the Pilgrim's documentary,
  728. 46:46it's phenomenal,
  729. 46:48everything Providence Forum does
  730. 46:49is absolutely excellent but where may people are you're very kind of
  731. 46:54yeah
  732. 46:55sure at at at providence form dot org
  733. 46:59providence form dot org and it's under the the the first main
  734. 47:04uh... post there
  735. 47:06is all about the foundation of american liberty series and the first one of
  736. 47:11those is the pilgrims
  737. 47:12and it's interesting
  738. 47:14uh... alex and so we have a uh... a nation with the short attention span
  739. 47:19I decided to basically carve up this information into short little videos that can be shared
  740. 47:25on YouTube and I have them all listed out again at the providenceforum.org. So for example,
  741. 47:31I took the pilgrims and carved it into little segments, understanding the pilgrims,
  742. 47:35where they just got into diversity in England, persecution of the pilgrims, the pilgrims on the
  743. 47:39move preparing for the voyage, the voyage of the Mayflower, the Mayflower Compact, surviving the winter,
  744. 47:44the Pilgrim's Progress. So in other words, you can just watch these and, you know, get the
  745. 47:51gist of it. But I also, there's a link to it where you just watch it right there on your computer or
  746. 47:57you could get a DVD if you wish, or you could get it through streaming through salenow.com.
  747. 48:05It's even translated into Chinese as in using subtitles because a friend from Taiwan saw
  748. 48:15it and said, oh, the Chinese people need to see this because this is the beginning of
  749. 48:21the story of America or the story of the beginning of America.
  750. 48:26And people need to know that this is all about the Christian roots of America.
  751. 48:32So, anyway, I thought that was really important to do.
  752. 48:37Well done, brother.
  753. 48:39So, worldview, we've only got another minute and a half,
  754. 48:44and this could be an hour long show.
  755. 48:47Give us a challenge on why it's important
  756. 48:50for churches, Bible studies, families,
  757. 48:54to teach worldview, biblical worldview,
  758. 48:58to children coming up.
  759. 48:59Well, yeah sure, let me say this, before Jesus ascended into heaven when he gave the great
  760. 49:08commission, he said, all of 40 in heaven and earth has been given to me.
  761. 49:15Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations and teach them everything that I've
  762. 49:20taught you.
  763. 49:21I mean, that's not all of those words, but that's the whole point.
  764. 49:25But here's the thing, Jesus Christ is the Lord and he has the authority over everything.
  765. 49:34And because he's Lord of all, everything we do, we should be applying the Lord to the
  766. 49:40great issues of the day.
  767. 49:42There's a Christian perspective on economics.
  768. 49:45There's a Christian perspective on music and arts.
  769. 49:49There's a Christian perspective on government and law.
  770. 49:52education when you look at education what's best in the west you know I'm so
  771. 49:59so we're almost out of time forgive me for steamrolling over you folks this has
  772. 50:03been the Hamilton corner with the Alex McFarland hey listen again at aFR.net
