  25. 1:52Whoo, what a weekend if your name is one Elon Musk.
  26. 1:56SpaceX, NASA?
  27. 2:04I don't think NASA's gonna be too busy here in the future.
  28. 2:08Just, we'll get to that.
  29. 2:09And then, Tesla's having it, cyber cab, reveal,
  30. 2:15and it's cyber minivan and all this other kind of stuff.
  31. 2:18What a weekend if you're there.
  32. 2:21And then I'm telling you,
  33. 2:22somebody's gonna put a prohibition on JD Vance
  34. 2:26getting on these Sunday shows,
  35. 2:27because I don't know how many people saw boys in the hood.
  36. 2:31Do you remember when young Ricky came up
  37. 2:34and y'all wanna see a dead body?
  38. 2:38Retorically, of course.
  39. 2:40It's a mess, I'll explain it to you.
  40. 2:42We'll get to it during the show.
  41. 2:43But let me say again, thank you to every one of you
  42. 2:46who supported us during the Sharethon.
  43. 2:51It's overwhelming.
  44. 2:52It really, really, really is overwhelming.
  45. 2:53Looks like Bobby and Jeff,
  46. 2:55the light's gonna be on just a little longer.
  47. 2:57At this very moment, many of you, if not most of you,
  48. 3:03if you don't know what I'm talking about,
  49. 3:04I'll get to it with Barack Obama and J.D. Vance
  50. 3:07and Elon Musk will get into all of that.
  51. 3:09But before we do any of that, at this very moment,
  52. 3:12many of you, if not most of you are making your transition
  53. 3:16from your part time jobs, regardless of what Barack Obama
  54. 3:19has to say about your mama.
  55. 3:23I can't believe this dude, like, man, listen,
  56. 3:28one of the most amazing things about these people,
  57. 3:30They become so detached from reality.
  58. 3:33Like, they really believe that they can just come out
  59. 3:36and say these kinds of things with no repercussions.
  60. 3:39You know, like, do what we can read and we pay attention.
  61. 3:44You know?
  62. 3:46But we'll get to it.
  63. 3:47Most of you are making your transitions
  64. 3:49from your income-generated capacities
  65. 3:51to your full-time jobs, which is outcome cultivation.
  66. 3:55And as you do, I wanna encourage you
  67. 3:58to do so with intentionality.
  68. 4:00You know, that may very well continue.
  69. 4:02That may very well include the continued frustration
  70. 4:05of one Barakus saying Obama.
  71. 4:07And it's just stupid what he said,
  72. 4:10because if you pay attention to this stuff,
  73. 4:12you realize the Democrats have been having a problem
  74. 4:14with the more melanated men voting,
  75. 4:18dating back to his 2008 run.
  76. 4:222012 was a little less.
  77. 4:242016, a little less.
  78. 4:272020, a little less.
  79. 4:29And now y'all have the audacity to put cackling on the top of your ticket,
  80. 4:40putting that aside.
  81. 4:40To the word of God, we go Proverbs chapter two.
  82. 4:44Proverbs chapter two is where we are going.
  83. 4:49Versus one through seven, Proverbs chapter two,
  84. 4:53verses one through seven.
  85. 4:56And this is what the word of God said, my son,
  86. 5:00if you receive my words and treasure up my commandments with you,
  87. 5:04making your ear attentive to wisdom and inclining your heart to
  88. 5:10to understanding. Yes, if you call out for insight and raise your voice for understanding,
  89. 5:17if you seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures, then you will understand
  90. 5:26the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God for the Lord gives wisdom from his
  91. 5:33mouth. I'm sorry, for the Lord gives wisdom from his mouth, come knowledge and understanding.
  92. 5:40He stores up sound wisdom for the upright. He is a shield to those who walk in integrity. Here,
  93. 5:54Father is personified by the words of scripture in this wisdom literature, the book of Proverbs
  94. 6:00falls within the scope of wisdom literature in terms of genre. And it is presented as
  95. 6:08Advice to a son.
  96. 6:11Receive my words and treasure up my commandments with you.
  97. 6:17Making your ear attentive to wisdom.
  98. 6:19It's always important that when we navigate scripture,
  99. 6:22that we understand that there are some things in scripture
  100. 6:25where we see the Lord conveying that He does for us.
  101. 6:28Right?
  102. 6:29And there are other things that are conveyed
  103. 6:32that include our responsive investment in here.
  104. 6:38The son is described as needing to make his ear
  105. 6:40attentive to wisdom because there's a difference between wisdom being offered and then one responding
  106. 6:46to and attending to that offered wisdom with the appropriate disposition. The wisdom can be
  107. 6:56made available, but if the intended recipient is not intentional about making one's ear attentive
  108. 7:03to it, I always give the example that we have in the book of Exodus, right? When Yahweh was
  109. 7:08attempting to capture Moses' attention.
  110. 7:12This is an older Moses.
  111. 7:13He's already fled from Egypt.
  112. 7:15He had spent time in the wilderness
  113. 7:16attending to his father-in-law, Jethro's flock.
  114. 7:19And as he's doing that,
  115. 7:21you have a bush that is on fire,
  116. 7:23but is not being consumed.
  117. 7:28In the scripture reveals that Moses
  118. 7:31adjusted himself to give attention
  119. 7:34to the bush that was on fire.
  120. 7:36Clearly it was a phenomenon that's transpiring,
  121. 7:40But it's also one if Moses was otherwise occupied,
  122. 7:44otherwise preoccupied, had other things that were priority to him,
  123. 7:47he could have simply relegated to a, oh, it led interesting and kept on rolling with
  124. 7:51his agenda. But the script is intentional in pointing out that Moses attended
  125. 7:58himself to what was happening with the bush. And it was not until Moses attended
  126. 8:04himself to what was happening with the bush that the Lord began to speak to him
  127. 8:08through the, through the burning bush. All right.
  128. 8:11Here, the scripture saying, make your ear attentive to wisdom.
  129. 8:18And if that's not enough for you,
  130. 8:20inclining your heart to understanding.
  131. 8:24Brothers and sisters, I wanna tell you,
  132. 8:25God has given us His word.
  133. 8:27God has given us His spirit.
  134. 8:29God has at work around us and frankly within us all the time.
  135. 8:37But too often in our context, frankly, we're too busy for God.
  136. 8:41We have other things that are top-line, top agenda.
  137. 8:45And God knows the difference between those
  138. 8:47who are casually curious about him
  139. 8:49and those who are hungering and thirsting for him.
  140. 8:53The Lord says, if you seek me, you'll find me,
  141. 8:55not because he's trying to hide himself from you.
  142. 9:00The simple reality is God knows the difference
  143. 9:02between those who are hungering for him
  144. 9:03and those who just want him to passively cosign
  145. 9:06their own agendas are even worse.
  146. 9:07Those who are completely disinterested in him at all.
  147. 9:14Then verse three goes on,
  148. 9:16Yes, if you call out for insight, if you notice the scriptures providing an intensification in the pursuit of the son, it begins give attention to wisdom and climb your heart to understanding.
  149. 9:31Now it goes in verse three. No, call out for insight. Ask for it.
  150. 9:36Pull out for the insight and not just in mere muted with spathons. No, raise your voice for understanding Lord. I need understanding
  151. 9:45Lord, I see with my eyes, but I don't see with my heart
  152. 9:49Lord, I can see but I still don't see there things I understand things. I don't understand call out for understanding
  153. 9:57Then the scripture adds additional graspable conceptions if you seek it like silver
  154. 10:04Why? Because the Lord knows the timing of the proverb,
  155. 10:11silver was a big deal.
  156. 10:13You see it like silver, search for it as hidden treasures.
  157. 10:18You know, what should immediately come to mind?
  158. 10:23Remember the gold rush?
  159. 10:26People left everything to head west.
  160. 10:30Why?
  161. 10:31Because they're looking for gold.
  162. 10:35Great migration and America's history.
  163. 10:38People, hey, all I've known is the South of my whole life,
  164. 10:41But now I'm going north for what?
  165. 10:43Cause they got jobs up there.
  166. 10:46Right now, people move for occupations.
  167. 10:50The scripture's making it plain,
  168. 10:51putting the cookies on the bottom shelf
  169. 10:53in case you're not understanding what it's saying to you.
  170. 10:56You know how you guys value treasure in silver and gold
  171. 11:00and money, money, money, money.
  172. 11:06That's how you should treasure wisdom.
  173. 11:09That's how you should treasure insight from God.
  174. 11:14Then the Lord goes on.
  175. 11:16In verse five, you begin by giving,
  176. 11:18making your ear attentive to wisdom,
  177. 11:19then inclining your heart to understanding,
  178. 11:21calling out for insight.
  179. 11:22No, not just calling the whispered muted tones.
  180. 11:24Raise your voice for understanding.
  181. 11:27Seek it like silver.
  182. 11:28Search for it as hidden treasure.
  183. 11:32And when you recognize that the true life's treasure
  184. 11:38is the wisdom of God, then you will understand
  185. 11:43the fear of the Lord.
  186. 11:45Then you will find the knowledge of God.
  187. 11:52And then first six,
  188. 11:53verse six makes it ever the more plain.
  189. 11:56But the Lord gives wisdom.
  190. 12:00The Lord gives wisdom.
  191. 12:06It's available to us.
  192. 12:07Another portion of scripture,
  193. 12:09the Lord reveals to us that He makes wise the simple.
  194. 12:13Brothers and sisters, we don't have to
  195. 12:15endeavor to navigate life,
  196. 12:17trying to strong arm it in the flesh,
  197. 12:20using only humanistic means that are available to us.
  198. 12:24We have access to the mind of God,
  199. 12:31provided for us by His Word.
  200. 12:33We have access to His counsel,
  201. 12:37by His Spirit, Jesus promised,
  202. 12:40that among the things the Spirit of God would do,
  203. 12:41yes, convict men of sin.
  204. 12:44That is to convict men of sin,
  205. 12:45to impress upon them their desperate need for a savior.
  206. 12:50It also applies to convicting men who may be believers of the necessity of bearing fruit
  207. 12:59and keeping with repentance.
  208. 13:00But Holy Spirit also, Jesus told us, would lead us and guide us into all truth and remind
  209. 13:08us of everything Jesus taught.
  210. 13:12Everything that Jesus taught.
  211. 13:16But how often do we neglect it?
  212. 13:18How often do our Bibles collect dust?
  213. 13:21How often do we give ourselves to all manner of investment of our time, of our resources,
  214. 13:27of our energies, to the neglect of the wisdom of God?
  215. 13:35Verse 7 tells us, He stores up sound wisdom for the upright.
  216. 13:41He is a shield.
  217. 13:42He is a shield to those who walk in integrity.
  218. 13:49But the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, and I've been talking about this quite a bit,
  219. 13:52and our culture is set up to lull us, to seduce us into a self-willed notion to where we can
  220. 14:00be comfortable and content in doing life with no concept of God, no awareness of Him, let alone
  221. 14:08a desire to seek Him and His real-time counsel in the midst of our lives. But that is a demonic delusion,
  222. 14:17a demonic delusion.
  223. 14:20We must willfully, volitionally, and humbly come to the place
  224. 14:25to where the surpassing, exceeding greatness of treasure
  225. 14:29that is in this life is in Christ.
  226. 14:32And the wisdom he makes available to us is more precious to us
  227. 14:36than jewels, than silver, than gold, than money.
  228. 14:43And when we come to that place, congratulations,
  229. 14:47You've entered the foundation for what's necessary to launch out into a lifetime of
  230. 14:55disciple living.
  231. 14:56Let's think about what God has done.
  232. 15:02I would wager that His top news story is still that the free salvation through the blood
  233. 15:07of Jesus Christ is available to all.
  234. 15:09I wager that would be the top news story until that salvation is no longer available.
  235. 15:14You will have made your decision for eternity.
  236. 15:16He doesn't ask us to do anything he wants.
  237. 15:19And then he dies above what we can possibly do.
  238. 15:23Here Todd Herman on a Disciples View, weekdays 12 PM Central on AFR.
  239. 15:34Shiting lightning to the darkness, this is the Hamilton Corner, an American family radio.
  240. 15:40Welcome back to the Hamilton Corner, Abraham Hamilton the third here.
  241. 15:44I'm going to go to this story now because I took some time to try to make sure I understood
  242. 15:50everything was happening.
  243. 15:51when I saw it, I was like, no way he's saying this.
  244. 15:54You know, because as I said in the first segment
  245. 15:57and alluded to it, if you've been paying attention
  246. 16:00to anything, you know that particularly more
  247. 16:04melanated men, especially younger men,
  248. 16:06in this instance, below 50 years old,
  249. 16:08most likely to ages 18 to 45, 45,
  250. 16:11not really feeling Democrat party lately.
  251. 16:13And it's been happening slowly,
  252. 16:15but continually dating back to 2012.
  253. 16:18You know, you had the highest percentage of support
  254. 16:21of a Barack Obama in 2008, but then it was a little less 2012 in his reelection campaign.
  255. 16:26In 2016, you had historical inroads, albeit still small, for President Trump in 2016.
  256. 16:37Then you had less black men supporting Mr. Robinette in 2020.
  257. 16:46And so the polls indicating less support now shouldn't be surprising.
  258. 16:49Anybody who's paying attention.
  259. 16:51So I thought it was curious yet, yet.
  260. 16:55I'm telling you, I can't, can't, cannot make this stuff up.
  261. 16:59Can't I make this stuff up?
  262. 17:02Mr. Morocco, saying Obama made a stop in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to deliver a speech, you know,
  263. 17:08supporting Kamala Harris.
  264. 17:11But then he also made a decision to stop at the East Liberty neighborhood Harris Walt's
  265. 17:16campaign office.
  266. 17:17All right.
  267. 17:18And he's at the campaign office meeting with people who are gonna be you know
  268. 17:24Do on the ground campaign of a camel of Harris, but they're cameras present all right
  269. 17:29and
  270. 17:30He took it upon himself to launch into the screed
  271. 17:35You know basically lambasting black men
  272. 17:40Because of the the lack of support for camel of Harris
  273. 17:43I'm like, what?
  274. 17:47This is absurd.
  275. 17:48I kid you not.
  276. 17:49So I'll give you a little bit of his speech.
  277. 17:53And then I'm going to, I have a transcript in front of me.
  278. 17:56Well, I, I, is a, the speech wasn't a formal speech, but he's talking to these guys, uh, at
  279. 18:02the East Liberty campaign office, East Liberty neighborhood campaign office in the Pittsburgh
  280. 18:06area.
  281. 18:07And it is, it is, it is, it is, it is astounding, not in a good way.
  282. 18:13What do you have to say?
  283. 18:14Listen to and watch clip number one.
  284. 18:16Go.
  285. 18:16Communities is that we had not yet seen the same kinds of energy
  286. 18:27and turnout in all quarters of our neighborhoods
  287. 18:32and communities as we saw when I was running.
  288. 18:37Now, I also want to say that that seems to be more pronounced
  289. 18:45with the brothers.
  290. 18:48So if you don't mind, just for a second,
  291. 18:49I'm gonna speak to y'all, right?
  292. 18:54And say that when you have a choice that is this clean,
  293. 19:03when on the one hand you have somebody who grew up like you,
  294. 19:11knows as you went to college with you,
  295. 19:18understands the struggles and pain and joy that comes
  296. 19:23Enjoy the comes from those experiences.
  297. 19:28They work hard and do more and overcome and achieves the second highest office in my
  298. 19:46way.
  299. 19:52He goes on to say, I will quote it for you.
  300. 19:55Part of it.
  301. 19:57I guess I got to do it like him.
  302. 20:01Part of it makes me think that, well, you just aren't feeling the idea of having a woman
  303. 20:06as present and you're coming up with other alternatives or other reasons for that.
  304. 20:12All right, I'm gonna stop.
  305. 20:24Man, so there are several things.
  306. 20:26First of all, this is how you know that people starting to get a little scared and some went
  307. 20:32without things like this.
  308. 20:34So when he builds to the brothers, you know, because you grew up with you.
  309. 20:38I never heard him say which end of speech on the stage before, but I mean, it gets us
  310. 20:42first time of everything, you know.
  311. 20:44You know that she says nothing about her policy.
  312. 20:47He uses all of a million tropes.
  313. 20:53She grew up with you.
  314. 20:54Yeah, you're back.
  315. 20:57She went to college with first of all, how many went?
  316. 21:00All right, leave that aside.
  317. 21:02How about this?
  318. 21:04Mr. Tupac.
  319. 21:06Mr. Barack.
  320. 21:07Mr. Barack B.A. Cho.
  321. 21:08Let me, how about this?
  322. 21:11Could it be?
  323. 21:12I'm gonna go out and I'm here.
  324. 21:14All right.
  325. 21:15You know, I made this maybe a little bit far out.
  326. 21:17Could it be?
  327. 21:19Mr. Obama, that these black men that you feel
  328. 21:25paternalistically compelled to whip into line with your rhetoric,
  329. 21:33could it be that they know how to read?
  330. 21:35Could it be that they're paying attention to what's happening?
  331. 21:41And could it be?
  332. 21:42I mean, I wasn't.
  333. 21:46I never lived in a White House.
  334. 21:48Maybe, could it be that they realize that Kamala is a disaster?
  335. 21:54and it would be bad for them and for the country.
  336. 21:57If she would have come anywhere near,
  337. 22:00the Oval Office couldn't be.
  338. 22:01I mean, you're saying all these other things,
  339. 22:07you're going with all these alternative theories.
  340. 22:12Could it be?
  341. 22:15And this is how I know how detached these guys are.
  342. 22:17Because if you've been paying attention
  343. 22:20and I'm just talking about presidential general elections,
  344. 22:23black men have been telling the country,
  345. 22:25we ain't feeling a Democrat party.
  346. 22:27you start with camera and it's increasing under camera.
  347. 22:32It's increased.
  348. 22:34And this is what I mean, guys.
  349. 22:36This is what people like Clarence Thomas and others mean
  350. 22:39when they say the bigotry of low expectations,
  351. 22:42you come up with all these other conversations.
  352. 22:45You got every reason under the moon, misogyny,
  353. 22:49all these other kind of things.
  354. 22:51It cannot be that they actually think her policies
  355. 22:54will be worse for them and for the country.
  356. 22:56Can't be, that's not an option.
  357. 22:58That's not an option.
  358. 23:01That's not even on the radar.
  359. 23:03Could it be that they getting sick and tired of people
  360. 23:06like you saying that they don't know how to get IDs to vote?
  361. 23:11Could it be?
  362. 23:12Could it be that they're sick and tired of people like you
  363. 23:14and Kathleen Kamala open up the border
  364. 23:18for 20 million people to come here in three years
  365. 23:21and to take jobs not only from us,
  366. 23:23but from our children and grandchildren.
  367. 23:27This is ridiculous guys, and this.
  368. 23:30This is what I mean.
  369. 23:34When I say these people, I'll say like my grandma,
  370. 23:38do you say, you didn't slip them, bump your head, boy.
  371. 23:41You're the mom of your head.
  372. 23:43You think the way to roll is to condemn everybody.
  373. 23:49And it's not everybody,
  374. 23:50because you still have a large support
  375. 23:54for the Democrat party,
  376. 23:55but you have increasing support for,
  377. 23:59let me say this way, non-democrats.
  378. 24:03People know what it's like to go to the grocery store
  379. 24:05today versus four years ago.
  380. 24:07People understand that.
  381. 24:09People understand that.
  382. 24:10People understand that you have,
  383. 24:12people like President Trump saying
  384. 24:13we need to build a wall,
  385. 24:14and then they learn, just like I shared with you guys last week,
  386. 24:17that an Afghan rolls up in the country in September of 2021,
  387. 24:22and old boy is plotting an election day terrorist attack.
  388. 24:29And this, guys, this is why I think it's stupid
  389. 24:34for the Republican Party to refuse to reach out
  390. 24:37to inner city communities.
  391. 24:38I've been saying this for the longest.
  392. 24:40Why don't Republicans campaign in the hood?
  393. 24:43I'm tired of the Mitt Romney's and the whistle boy,
  394. 24:47Lindsey Graham and all these other people.
  395. 24:50Oh, we don't ever win.
  396. 24:51How do you think Democrats decide
  397. 24:52they're gonna try to turn Texas red?
  398. 24:54You think they thought, well, you know what?
  399. 24:56Texas has been a Republican stronghold for so long
  400. 24:59and we just don't have a chance to win.
  401. 25:00No, they go in and they spend time
  402. 25:06year after year after year after year after year
  403. 25:09after a year to where we get to this place to where Ted Cruz is having a fight to get
  404. 25:13reelected. And what it unintentionally communicates is that you don't care. And so what's happening
  405. 25:21is that black men realize like me. I told you guys, growing up in the waters, I never saw
  406. 25:26a Republican campaign for anything ever, ever. Don't even try. What do you think that communicates
  407. 25:33to the people that live in those hoods? And if you don't care about what happens here.
  408. 25:38And so you should recognize black men driven largely by younger black black men under 50 years old that's sick and tired of the
  409. 25:45Democrat party. That's what's happening guys. That's what's happening
  410. 25:49Second time of the Democrat party because they lived like I did in New Orleans
  411. 25:55Mayors for over a century all Democrats city council over a century all Democrats look at the public schools
  412. 26:03Look at the cities look at the potholes look at what's happening
  413. 26:06Look how they decimate the tax base.
  414. 26:08Force people to live in this, force you to live in the suburbs.
  415. 26:12Force you, not because you want to,
  416. 26:14because the taxation is too high.
  417. 26:16Things like crime and all these other things are rampant.
  418. 26:21So for this dude to come out and say,
  419. 26:24you three weeks out from an election,
  420. 26:26he's talking about, oh, y'all don't wanna vote,
  421. 26:28you know, because I think you have a problem
  422. 26:30with a woman on the top of the ticket.
  423. 26:31That's what you think, you go in with that thing.
  424. 26:33You go with that, you go with that.
  425. 26:36while in the real world, I can tell you
  426. 26:39across the board, people are saying,
  427. 26:41Braggle, Bob, you don't tell me what to do?
  428. 26:44You don't tell me how to vote.
  429. 26:47And we really don't care what you think
  430. 26:48about what we're gonna do with our votes.
  431. 26:53It's just insane, it's insane.
  432. 26:57And so it's either he's ignorant
  433. 27:00to what has been happening over the last 12 years,
  434. 27:04or he knows and doesn't care.
  435. 27:08And it's more interested in coming to wag around
  436. 27:13his little, his rhetorical finger in providing a narrative
  437. 27:19for the media to run with because he knows,
  438. 27:21rup roll, this ain't going too well.
  439. 27:25This ain't going too well.
  440. 27:28Listen, and I tell you, I'm an equal opportunity truth teller.
  441. 27:32I'm not a sick affair for the Republican Party,
  442. 27:34Democrat Party, no party.
  443. 27:36But if you want people to support you,
  444. 27:37you have to appeal to them.
  445. 27:39You don't appeal to them by condemning them.
  446. 27:44That's across the board.
  447. 27:46You don't appeal to them by condemning them.
  448. 27:49The facts are, to this day,
  449. 27:52that more melanating men percentage-wise,
  450. 27:54they're still supporting Democrats more than anybody else,
  451. 27:56but you don't see Barack Obama talking
  452. 27:57about any other ethnic groups
  453. 27:59saying that y'all don't want to vote
  454. 28:00for her cousin misogyny.
  455. 28:02I wonder why.
  456. 28:04I wonder why.
  457. 28:05Could it be?
  458. 28:06Could it be?
  459. 28:11That Barack Obama is suffering from partiality?
  460. 28:19Oh boy, I'm telling you, can I make this stuff up?
  461. 28:23Can I make this stuff up for the sake of time,
  462. 28:25I'ma move on, but I got a lot more I can say on that.
  463. 28:28I probably will at a later date.
  464. 28:29But let me just say it this way,
  465. 28:31the backlash to that offering from one Mr. Obama
  466. 28:35has been quite prevalent.
  467. 28:40All right.
  468. 28:41Now I'm gonna move on to this.
  469. 28:42And this you wanna talk about, I ought to touch.
  470. 28:45Well, I'm telling her they gonna stop
  471. 28:46letting JD Vance on these Sunday shows.
  472. 28:49Martha Raditz did good on one interview
  473. 28:50and how she stepped in on the other side.
  474. 28:54So Martha Raditz was interviewing JD Vance.
  475. 28:55She called herself at this point
  476. 28:57pointed to interview fact checking.
  477. 28:59Mr. Trump, President Trump,
  478. 29:02in his statements during a campaign stop in Colorado
  479. 29:06when he's saying that Venezuelan gangs are taking over.
  480. 29:13And she called out so saying,
  481. 29:14ah, it's not that big of a deal.
  482. 29:16It's only a few apartment complex systems,
  483. 29:19and he said,
  484. 29:20you're like, oh, Martha, listen to yourself.
  485. 29:22Let me play what I'm talking about.
  486. 29:23Listen to when watch clip number two, go.
  487. 29:26Well, Martha, you just said the mayor said they were exaggerated.
  488. 29:29Well, seriously exaggerated.
  489. 29:31That means there's got to be some element of truth here.
  490. 29:34And of course, President Trump was actually in Aurora, Colorado,
  491. 29:38talking to people on the ground.
  492. 29:40And what we're hearing, of course, Martha,
  493. 29:41is that people are terrified by what
  494. 29:44has happened with some of these Venezuelan gangs.
  495. 29:46Senator Vance, I'm going to stop you
  496. 29:47because I know exactly what happened.
  497. 29:49I'm going to stop you.
  498. 29:50The incidents were limited to a handful of apartment conflicts,
  499. 29:56apartment complexes and the mayor said our dedicated police officers have acted on those
  500. 30:01concerned. A handful of problems. Only Martha, do you hear yourself? Only a handful of apartment
  501. 30:09complexes in America were taken over by Venezuelan gangs and Donald Trump is the problem and not
  502. 30:14Kamala Harris's open border. Americans are so fed up with what's going on and they have every right
  503. 30:20to be and I really find this exchange. Martha is sort of interesting because you seem to be more
  504. 30:26focused with nitpicking everything that Donald Trump has said, rather than acknowledging that
  505. 30:32apartment complexes in the United States of America are being taken over by violent gangs.
  506. 30:37I worry so much more about that problem than anything else here. We've got to get American
  507. 30:43communities in a safe space again. And unfortunately, when you let people in by the millions,
  508. 30:49most of whom are unvetted, most of whom you don't know who they really are, you're going to have
  509. 30:54problems like this. Kamala Harris, 94 executive orders that undid Donald Trump's successful
  510. 30:59border policies. We knew this stuff would happen. That's that's
  511. 31:03ragged about opening the border. And now we have the consequences and we're living with
  512. 31:07it. We can do so much better. But frankly, we're not going to do better Martha unless Donald
  513. 31:11Trump calls this stuff out. I'm glad that he did.
  514. 31:18You can feel she's like, oh, how quick can I get out of this? And again, it just shows
  515. 31:30the eye to the eye to touch. So she thought she was dropping a bomb of a fat check and saying
  516. 31:39it was only a few apartment complexes. To which JD Van says listen to yourself Martha Martha Martha
  517. 31:51Martha just because they ain't taking over your apartment building that mean you shouldn't care
  518. 31:58but you don't care just like these other folks don't care because you seem to be cool with a
  519. 32:04a little bit of Venezuelan takeover.
  520. 32:06Martha, you should understand that one is too many,
  521. 32:09and the fact that you're more concerned about,
  522. 32:12not a Trump, than you are about Venezuelan gangs.
  523. 32:16Taking over American apartment buildings is the reason
  524. 32:20why we gotta get you people as far as we're, far as we,
  525. 32:24far away as possible from the levels of power.
  526. 32:29The following is from an article by Dr. Jessica Peck,
  527. 32:32host of the Dr. Nurse Momma Show.
  528. 32:34Some children feel fear in places they should feel safe every day.
  529. 32:38So let's be challenged to speak words of life and encouragement.
  530. 32:42The next time a student shares a discouragement or difficulty with you,
  531. 32:46try listening first and then, engaging them in
  532. 32:50compassionate and encouraging conversation.
  533. 32:53Read the full article, SchoolMomHope, on thestand.net.
  534. 33:10to the Hamilton Corner on American Family Radio.
  535. 33:14Welcome back.
  536. 33:21We're already in the third segment, man.
  537. 33:22I'm just getting warmed up.
  538. 33:26This weekend, this is pretty significant for a host of reasons.
  539. 33:31Some of you might have saw a little bit of information
  540. 33:34about this.
  541. 33:35I want you to be aware of this, which
  542. 33:38is why I'm bringing it to you in this conversation.
  543. 33:41So just yesterday, SpaceX, that is Elon Musk's space
  544. 33:47expiration company had its fifth test of its Starship rocket,
  545. 33:59which is bigger than anything NASA has put out to date,
  546. 34:04as I understand it.
  547. 34:09And in addition to that,
  548. 34:12one novel aspect of this test,
  549. 34:15which is pretty phenomenal that I want you to see,
  550. 34:19that Elon Musk and his engineers at SpaceX
  551. 34:22had the werebreath all to blast the rocket using the Starship itself, which is the rocket
  552. 34:32and its booster, but to get the booster to return to the launch site.
  553. 34:40Now I'm not an astronaut.
  554. 34:42I know most of you are not astronauts, but usually and even in SpaceX's previous test.
  555. 34:49Yeah, thank you, Jeff.
  556. 34:50Jeff has a description, a depiction of the rocket.
  557. 34:52If you're watching the show, you can see what they call the Mechazilla launch tower.
  558. 34:56The Starship rocket is at the very tip.
  559. 34:58You have then this super heavy booster that was descending after the booster.
  560. 35:06If anybody does CrossFit, you know how you do wall balls.
  561. 35:11The ball is the projectile that's launched to the site, 10, 15 feet above your head.
  562. 35:17But you provide that thrust, right?
  563. 35:19booster provides the thrust for the rocket to get it up into the atmospheric trajectory.
  564. 35:25But usually the booster lands somewhere else in the world.
  565. 35:28SpaceX engineers had the werethole to have the booster return to the launch site.
  566. 35:35Guys this is unprecedented technological advancement and you want to talk about, I must
  567. 35:48has some crazy ideas. I mean, his plan is to try is he's saying he wants to keep people
  568. 35:53to travel to the moon and to travel to Mars. He's talking about having people living out
  569. 35:57of space. That's I'm not getting into all that. I'm talking specifically about the innovation
  570. 36:01and the ingenuity to have the capacity to launch a rocket and then have the booster return
  571. 36:09to the launch site and to have the arms on the launch site that they call chopsticks to
  572. 36:15Grasp the booster. That is going to save this corporation hundreds of millions, if not billions
  573. 36:22of dollars in terms of making subsequent launches less expensive. I have video of the booster returning
  574. 36:32to the launch site and it is clip number three. The British broadcast network covered this among
  575. 36:37other other outlets in real time as this happened just yesterday. It's clip number three. Go.
  576. 36:58how fast this vehicle is moving on the left hand.
  577. 37:02That was for me.
  578. 37:03Getting a chance.
  579. 37:09We're now down to three Raptor engines.
  580. 37:13We can see those chopsticks happening.
  581. 37:29We've just witnessed history.
  582. 37:31Oh my goodness.
  583. 37:33They've done it.
  584. 37:34They've done it first time.
  585. 37:35That was absolutely astonishing.
  586. 37:39Say what you want, guys.
  587. 37:40That's remarkable.
  588. 37:42And this is the first time they ever tried this.
  589. 37:45And they got it done.
  590. 37:48That is remarkable because I was interested.
  591. 37:52I didn't know I looked it up.
  592. 37:54SpaceX's launch site is in Boca Chica, Texas
  593. 37:58at the southern tip of Texas.
  594. 38:00The nearest city is Brownsville.
  595. 38:03That's up the coast on the Gulf Coast
  596. 38:05from SpaceX's launch site.
  597. 38:09That's a big deal.
  598. 38:10NASA has never done this, guys.
  599. 38:12Nobody has ever done this.
  600. 38:14They have the boost to return.
  601. 38:17The second thing that Elon Musk describes
  602. 38:18as the second success is that they launched the Starship rocket itself and had a precise
  603. 38:25landing spot in the Indian Ocean for the rocket. That's the top part, not the booster. The
  604. 38:29booster is the base that gives the rocket the initial trajectory. The rocket was launched
  605. 38:35from the booster, had its flight pattern, and then landed exactly where they precisely
  606. 38:40intended for the land in the Indian Ocean. That's a big deal. Guys, you are witnessing
  607. 38:48the the nullification of the existence of NASA because when you have this kind of innovation
  608. 38:56and technology available, people are going to ask, what do we need NASA for?
  609. 39:02That was that that that's a big deal.
  610. 39:05That's a big deal.
  611. 39:06So, that was a big day.
  612. 39:07That was just yesterday.
  613. 39:09Huh?
  614. 39:11Oh, yeah.
  615. 39:12Oh, yeah.
  616. 39:13Yeah.
  617. 39:14Yeah.
  618. 39:15Yeah.
  619. 39:16This is that's a big deal.
  620. 39:17Now, it's a little crazier.
  621. 39:20So prior to this earlier in the weekend, Tesla had Elon Musk's company, Tesla had its
  622. 39:28cyber cab launch event in California, Burbank, California.
  623. 39:34And there were lots of other things, you know, one of the main things that they wanted to
  624. 39:37announce is their concept for automatic, autonomous, autonomous, I should say, I'm sorry, autonomous
  625. 39:45like Uber service to where you have Tesla vehicles that don't require drivers.
  626. 39:50So they were they would show in the concept. So that they had this huge van that can carry up to 20 people
  627. 39:56But the thing that caught my attention is that in the midst of doing all of this
  628. 40:00Elon Musk also revealed the updated design. So what he's calling the Optimus robot
  629. 40:10Yeah, the Optimus robot
  630. 40:13Elon Musk is envisioning a future
  631. 40:15When he will sell Tesla Optimus robots
  632. 40:19for twenty to thirty thousand dollars a piece and
  633. 40:21And he's just he calls him your optimist buddy everybody's gonna want to have a robot
  634. 40:28Now I don't know about you
  635. 40:30But I ain't really too interested in having a robot's in fact
  636. 40:33I don't even have Alexa nothing in my home
  637. 40:36Because I don't trust these devices. I'm not anti innovation. However, I want to be clear
  638. 40:41I'm not anti innovation, but um
  639. 40:43These folks trying to make I robot a reality now. I don't know if you saw that movie
  640. 40:48You know they trying to make you know
  641. 40:50Terminator real deal.
  642. 40:53All right.
  643. 40:55I want you and the main reason I want you to see this, because I want you to see how people,
  644. 41:01in this instance Elon Musk is envisioning the future, listen to and watch clip number
  645. 41:08four go.
  646. 41:09A robot with arms and legs instead of a robot with wheels.
  647. 41:15And we've made a lot of progress with the Optimus.
  648. 41:21And as you can see, we started up with someone in a robot suit, sort of bad.
  649. 41:28And then we've progressed dramatically year after year.
  650. 41:33So if you extrapolate this, you're really going to have something spectacular, something that
  651. 41:39anyone could own.
  652. 41:42So you can have your own personal R2D2C3PO.
  653. 41:49fundamentally at scale the Optimus robot you should be able to buy an Optimus
  654. 41:54robot for I think probably 20 to 30 thousand dollars long time so and and what
  655. 42:00can I do it can it'll be able to do anything you want so it can be a teacher
  656. 42:06babysit your kids it can walk your dog more your lawn yet the groceries just be
  657. 42:10your friend serve drinks whatever you can think of it will do and yeah it's gonna
  658. 42:19be awesome. I think this will be the biggest product ever of any kind. Because I think
  659. 42:33everyone of the 8 billion people of hers, I think everyone's gonna want their optimist
  660. 42:38buddy. That boy said it can cook your meals, it can babysit your children, it can beat
  661. 42:47your friend man and I'm telling y'all this is where I tell you
  662. 42:56all watching you I must this man has historically been a
  663. 43:00transhumanist I'm good on the the free speech things I love all
  664. 43:04of that but this is a transhumanist all right this is a
  665. 43:09transhumanist everybody's gonna want the optimism but it no
  666. 43:14sir not everybody I see I see Jeff shining up right now Jeff
  667. 43:20signing up. Who needs friends? I have optimist. My buddy. Watch your kids. Well, Elon Musk, I
  668. 43:31don't know if he was in that rocket going up there with SpaceX, but I don't know that he'll
  669. 43:35him might have went to the brain. I don't want no robot watching my babies. Guys, this is
  670. 43:42where we are. And look, and then you have this aspect. I'll show you this and then I'll
  671. 43:46clarify because part of the demonstration is Elon Musk wanted to give the appearance
  672. 43:51that even some of these robots were talking. Listen to him watch clip number five. Go.
  673. 43:57Optimists. It's insane. It's even talking. Right here. Oh, hello, John. How are you? That's
  674. 44:09crazy. I'm talking to a robot from San Jose. Probably from where you are from where you
  675. 44:14born in Silicon Valley.
  676. 44:16Where do you live in San Jose?
  677. 44:18In the Valley?
  678. 44:20In the Santa Cruz Valley?
  679. 44:22No, I live in Los Gatos.
  680. 44:24Los Gatos are wonderful.
  681. 44:26Where do you live?
  682. 44:28I'm from New York.
  683. 44:30I live in Colorado, I'm a great woman.
  684. 44:34Biggers. Yeah, this is awesome.
  685. 44:38That's where they train us.
  686. 44:40That's where we get our buildings.
  687. 44:42What's the hardest thing about being a robot?
  688. 44:45Trying to learn how to be as human as you guys.
  689. 44:52And that's something I try harder to do every day and I hope that people help us become that.
  690. 45:00Well, awesome. Nice to meet you, Optimus.
  691. 45:02You as well.
  692. 45:03Now, other techies after this came out saying, no, no, these robots are not autonomous yet.
  693. 45:11They were being controlled remotely by other human beings, even the voice actualization,
  694. 45:18actualization and things of that nature, which has not been disputed by Tesla.
  695. 45:23So it gives indication that these are not autonomous, but the reason why I wanted to share this with
  696. 45:28you, because I want you to see where people are attempting to move society.
  697. 45:33This is what people are moving and working toward.
  698. 45:37And I want you to be aware of it.
  699. 45:42So that when these things happen, we're not caught off guard nor surprised by it.
  700. 45:47So on the one hand, I applaud the ingenuity.
  701. 45:49And I'm grateful, you know, that, you know, America is a nation where this type of innovation
  702. 45:54and ingenuity is pursued and employed.
  703. 45:58Well, at the exact same time, I think we need to be intentional about making sure we have
  704. 46:06a line concerning concerning what is ethically acceptable and what type of society we do want.
  705. 46:14And I'll tell you many of the people that are in the transhumanism camp, they have a
  706. 46:20loathsome disposition concerning mankind.
  707. 46:24And they are quite frankly upfront about this loathsome disposition.
  708. 46:29This is why the same Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, CEO of SpaceX came out opposing the advancements
  709. 46:38of what's described as artificial intelligence because what they previously said they would
  710. 46:42not do in connecting these various artificial intelligence modalities to the internet to
  711. 46:49where they have an artificial intelligence really is a misnomer because it's really
  712. 46:52algorithmic learning.
  713. 46:54It's capacity development through algorithms is what it is.
  714. 46:57And so now, and I've said this before, this is why for all those years, you had all these
  715. 47:00companies giving free internet, free email addresses, I'm sorry, you know, at Yahoo, at
  716. 47:06you know, Bing, you know, Gmail, a lot of these things.
  717. 47:08The reason why they did that because they wanted to get all this data for free because they're
  718. 47:14moving towards a transhumanist pension to where artificial intelligence, the rise of the machines,
  719. 47:23all of these things are happening.
  720. 47:24And so I don't want you guys to be caught off guard when these things happen because they're
  721. 47:27working on it.
  722. 47:28And the same guy that got a booster traveling over 17,000 miles per hour to redock.
  723. 47:36Think about this, to redock he's the same one working on this other thing.
  724. 47:45We ain't getting here folks.
  725. 47:46We here.
  726. 47:47We're here now.
  727. 47:50So it's vitally important that we not only aware, but as the script delays out my prayer
  728. 47:55for the people of God in our nation and all over the world frankly, that we would understand
  729. 47:59the times we're living in and know how we are to respond.
  730. 48:04How are we to respond?
  731. 48:05This is the time that God has planted us.
  732. 48:07He's not surprised by any of this stuff.
  733. 48:10All right?
  734. 48:11We need to make sure that we are walking by God's grace in line with what God is requiring
  735. 48:19of us and that we are prepared and preparing ourselves to be his hands and feet in the time
  736. 48:25that he's planted us.
  737. 48:26You all have a great evening, Lord willing, we will be back tomorrow and we will address
  738. 48:31the shenanigans to your then.
  739. 48:33Y'all have a great evening.
