  9. 0:46It's fall, Sharerathon on American Family Radio.
  10. 0:50Good evening, everyone.
  11. 1:08Welcome to this day one, fall 2024,
  12. 1:13Sharerathon edition of the Hamilton Corner.
  13. 1:15I'm your host, Abraham Hamilton the third.
  14. 1:17The corner contingent is in the building right across
  15. 1:19from me, my man, 100 grand, Mr. Bobby.
  16. 1:22migrated from Virginia, coming down where is better
  17. 1:25in the weather keeps you slimmer, it's Mr. Bobby.
  18. 1:27Rrrrrr.
  19. 1:29Rosa.
  20. 1:29Yes indeed, and in the screening room.
  21. 1:32They don't know what I wanna say when I get on these
  22. 1:35read, Jeff is cracking up already,
  23. 1:37produce extraordinaire often imitated the real,
  24. 1:40Jay Mac never duplicated.
  25. 1:42He's in the building and we are ready
  26. 1:43to rock and roll with today's.
  27. 1:45Shareathon edition of the program
  28. 1:46if you have been listening, you already know
  29. 1:48that I've been on the air for an hour already.
  30. 1:50started at four o'clock today, but carrying on in this hour.
  31. 1:55The Shareathon is the time of the year.
  32. 1:58We do this twice a year in the fall and in the spring where we appeal directly to you,
  33. 2:03our listeners and supporters to financially undergird the work that we do here.
  34. 2:08There are all kinds of tentacles.
  35. 2:10The overarching ministry is the American Family Association in 1991.
  36. 2:14Brother Don Wildman had the vision to say, I'm sick and tired of having these liberal
  37. 2:20regressive media outlets editing what I'm trying to say. We need to be able to communicate
  38. 2:25directly with the people of God. And so American family radio was born. The radio network now
  39. 2:31that spans over 180 stations across the country. George Soros is attempting to rival AFR simply.
  40. 2:38I'm going to sell you straight up to rival what we're endeavoring to do. We have the American
  41. 2:43Family Studios division. We have the 1 million moms division. We have the American Family
  42. 2:51Association Foundation division, our government affiliate, AFA action that includes the Center
  43. 2:58for Judicial Renewal, the Center for Government Renewal, iVoter Guide, is an expansive work that
  44. 3:05we do, but by God's grace it is only possible because of your faithful support and frankly,
  45. 3:12his divine providence and provision through your faithful support. The number to call to
  46. 3:18financially contribute is 877-616-2396. The number to call again is 877-616-2396, or you can give
  47. 3:29securely online at afr.net, afr.net. Often I'm asked, how can you speak so plainly on the air in its two
  48. 3:40reasons first and foremost, the word of God will not be compromised.
  49. 3:45And frankly, I am committed to my king and I refuse to compromise his words.
  50. 3:49Secondarily, the contributions of the support network for AFR, the financial support, the
  51. 3:58people who give $5 a month, the people who give $10 a month, those who are able to give
  52. 4:02$1,000, those who give $100 if you're able to provide a one-time gift or if you're able
  53. 4:07to provide financial support.
  54. 4:08What your support does, among all the other things
  55. 4:12that describe many of the various outlets
  56. 4:13that we have under the umbrella of this ministry,
  57. 4:15what it does, it allows us to have no corporate sponsorship
  58. 4:20or some other alternative that we're accountable to.
  59. 4:23Our association consists of us up here on the front lines
  60. 4:27and you with the supply lines.
  61. 4:30That enables us to stand flat-footed
  62. 4:32and to convey the unvarnished truth of God's word,
  63. 4:35no matter what the topic is,
  64. 4:36Whether it be governmental, whether it be financial,
  65. 4:39whether it be political, whether it be biblical,
  66. 4:41no matter what it is, we are able to speak
  67. 4:43plainly and clearly because of that support.
  68. 4:46That's one of the things that I can speak for him now.
  69. 4:48That's one of the things why you have a military veteran
  70. 4:50already retired in Bobby Rosa who says,
  71. 4:53you know what, I'm gonna uproot my family and relocate
  72. 4:57because I wanna be directly involved in something.
  73. 4:59And I'm telling this business.
  74. 5:01Long before Mr. Rosa was in the cross from me,
  75. 5:03he was a financial supporter of AFR.
  76. 5:06That's just a fact.
  77. 5:07I remember meeting him at one of Alex McFarland's events
  78. 5:10in North Carolina, not meeting him for the first time,
  79. 5:12but seeing him there, then at another AFA donor event.
  80. 5:15And then we start talking and he said,
  81. 5:16man, I feel like the Lord is calling me to move here.
  82. 5:19That's amazing.
  83. 5:20And then here we are.
  84. 5:21The number to call again is 877-616-2396,
  85. 5:26or you can give securely at aFR.net.
  86. 5:28Yes, I'm fired up because I recognize
  87. 5:31the urgency of the moment.
  88. 5:32To the word of God, we go.
  89. 5:34John chapter 17,
  90. 5:36John chapter 17, we were in our small groups last week,
  91. 5:40and my brother Mark, oat pointed this out.
  92. 5:43Some of you don't know, he's a brother that records me
  93. 5:45when I do the one minute commentary said,
  94. 5:47air on AFR, but we're having a conversation
  95. 5:51about this very text, and this is a part of what's commonly,
  96. 5:54commonly described as Jesus as high priestly prayer
  97. 5:57in John chapter 17, during the upper room,
  98. 5:59discourse prior, just prior to Messiah going to the cross.
  99. 6:04and amongst the things that are said, John chapter 17,
  100. 6:06verses 16 through 20, John chapter 17, verses 16 through 20.
  101. 6:11And this is what the word of God says.
  102. 6:13This is John quoting Jesus.
  103. 6:16So this is Jesus' words that John is quoting.
  104. 6:19They are not of the world just as I am not of the world.
  105. 6:21Jesus referring to his disciples.
  106. 6:23They are not of the world just as I am not of the world.
  107. 6:26Sanctify them in the truth.
  108. 6:28Your word is truth.
  109. 6:32as you sent me into the world,
  110. 6:34so I have sent them into the world.
  111. 6:37And for their sake, I consecrate myself
  112. 6:40that they also may be sanctified in the truth.
  113. 6:43I do not ask for these only,
  114. 6:46but also for those who will believe in me
  115. 6:49through their word.
  116. 6:52Two things I wanna point out.
  117. 6:54First, Jesus himself said what I'm about to tell you,
  118. 6:58sanctify them in the truth.
  119. 6:59What is the truth, Jesus said?
  120. 7:01Your word is truth.
  121. 7:03Of course, he refers to himself as the truth,
  122. 7:06the way in the life.
  123. 7:07But then he says, your word is truth.
  124. 7:09Well, we need to understand brothers and sisters
  125. 7:11that we're not people if we are in Christ.
  126. 7:14We're not a people who are trying to find a way
  127. 7:16to try to integrate the scripture
  128. 7:18into the prevailing world around us.
  129. 7:20No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
  130. 7:21It's actually the opposite we're around.
  131. 7:23The word of God is truth.
  132. 7:26So in order to properly navigate
  133. 7:28and interpret the world around us,
  134. 7:31The things that are transpiring around us, world events,
  135. 7:35scientific understanding, mathematical equations,
  136. 7:38all manner of things must be navigated, interpreted,
  137. 7:41and interpreted in light of what is truth,
  138. 7:45the word of God, everything that we experience in life,
  139. 7:48everything that's happening contemporarily,
  140. 7:49these things must be interpreted in light
  141. 7:52of what the scripture says, because the word of God is truth.
  142. 7:56Secondarily what I wanna point out to you,
  143. 7:57and I'm just gonna tell you now,
  144. 7:59if I didn't have these headphone things in,
  145. 8:01probably running around in the studio. Jesus himself said, I do not ask for these only.
  146. 8:08That's a reference to his disciples who are physically present with him in the upper room.
  147. 8:12I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me. Also for those who will
  148. 8:20believe in me. Those who will come to face in me in the future. Isn't it amazing to consider
  149. 8:26that Jesus Christ, Yeshua, Hamashiyok, the anointed one, Messiah, the King of kings,
  150. 8:34the Lord of Lords, the one who judges the earth, the one who was and is and is to come,
  151. 8:40has prayed for us. Jesus has prayed for us. Then the scripture tells us that he also
  152. 8:49stands currently ever making intercession for us. So when the scripture commands us
  153. 8:54to be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. That's not mere poetic conversation.
  154. 9:00That's not just a fanciful poetic rendering. That is a communication of reality. So when
  155. 9:07I say to you that we don't have to be afraid of the context that we're in, when I say to
  156. 9:11you that when your feet hit the ground in the morning and the Lord pops your eyes open that
  157. 9:15this is the moment the goddess ordained for you, I'm not just trying to hype you up because
  158. 9:19the one who has called us, the one who summoned us, the one who's redeemed us, the one who
  159. 9:23justified us, but who sanctified us has prayed for us and currently is making
  160. 9:29intercession for us that we don't stand upon our own authority and our own capacity,
  161. 9:33but that we stand in the power of His might.
  162. 9:39Excuse me if I get a little excited about it.
  163. 9:42So when we stand and confront the wickedness of our day, when we recognize that God has given us
  164. 9:47resources and we have all kinds of things that are demanded of us with our resources,
  165. 9:51but we can use them in certain ways, in depositing them in other ways.
  166. 9:54We have to recognize that there is one who is going before us.
  167. 10:01I get excited when I think about that Jesus has prayed for me,
  168. 10:06that as Jesus is preparing to go to the cross, he has to wear with all
  169. 10:11in the foresight to pray not just for those who are physically present,
  170. 10:14but for all those who will come.
  171. 10:17I'm not praying that you take them out of the world.
  172. 10:20I'm praying that they'll be sanctified in the truth, in this world, your word.
  173. 10:27Your word is truth. Your word is truth. That's why I say I'm not afraid of the context of God
  174. 10:34as placed me in. I understand what's going on. I'm so burnt by it. I see all the wickedness.
  175. 10:40I know we don't wrestle against flesh and blood, but against spirit, but against spiritual wickedness.
  176. 10:44But the Lord didn't tell us that for us to be afraid of it, just so that we will be aware of it,
  177. 10:48So that we're gonna try to pop off in the flesh.
  178. 10:50We're gonna try to go and do God things in the flesh.
  179. 10:52No, no, we rely upon him.
  180. 10:55We lean into him.
  181. 10:56We're a people of prayer.
  182. 10:58Prayerlessness is a tacit declaration of independence from God.
  183. 11:01For professing believers to simultaneously be prayerless,
  184. 11:04it is a life declaration that we are comfortable and content
  185. 11:08going about this life in our own strength.
  186. 11:11May it never be.
  187. 11:12Let us be strong in the Lord and the strength of His might.
  188. 11:16And so this type of encouragement,
  189. 11:19this type of clarity of communication and communicated dependence upon the Lord
  190. 11:23is what we want to keep open and available to you and to the expanding audience.
  191. 11:31As time continues, the Lord is allowing more and more people to learn about American
  192. 11:35family radio. Many of you are sharing it with your friends and loved ones.
  193. 11:37I hear those testimonies all the time.
  194. 11:41This is why we're inviting you to call 877-616-2396.
  195. 11:46This is why we're inviting you to gift securely online at aFR.net.
  196. 11:51This is why we are inviting you to make a one-time gift or becoming monthly supporter
  197. 11:58because we are confident that God has planted this ministry for this time, for this day,
  198. 12:04for this age.
  199. 12:05You know, it's not lost on me that Dr. George Barners, most recent American worldview survey
  200. 12:11indicated that for most evangelicals, the most likely outcome is that there will be
  201. 12:17influenced by the world around them, as opposed to influencing the world around them. Well,
  202. 12:24what we're endeavoring to do is to reverse that. It's to reverse that course, is to stem the tide
  203. 12:33of that deleterious impact. And for the people of God to be bolstered, and also for the ranks,
  204. 12:42the number of the member of God's family increased through this work.
  205. 12:52And then my sister Cynthia's quote right now, she said,
  206. 12:54my husband told me about AFR and I've been hooked ever since.
  207. 12:58But she didn't say hooked, which she said, let me see.
  208. 13:00I've been here ever since.
  209. 13:02But she knew in certain blocks and all I did say, every since.
  210. 13:06Every since.

  230. 14:51Milton. Please pray for our fellow citizens.
  231. 15:00Those who place their faith in Jesus are elevated to an extraordinary position. As co-heirs with
  232. 15:05Christ we share in His inheritance. The gospel is the ultimate dignity giver, elevating the
  233. 15:11unworthy to unimaginable heights.
  234. 15:14Our lives should reflect this dignity, empowering us to extend the same grace and love to others
  235. 15:19that has been so generously given to us.
  236. 15:22I'm Jordan Shambly and you can read the rest of the Gospel Dignifies the Undignified on the

  256. 16:12online at aFR.net that is aFR.net for American Family Radio and in the live stream Vicki made
  257. 16:21a great point not only praying for the people who have suffered from the ravages of the storm
  258. 16:29but also the scores of relief workers, you know,
  259. 16:33and it seems from all that I've seen in red and heard
  260. 16:38and learned that it's gonna be a long recovery,
  261. 16:41a long term effort to recover.
  262. 16:45So please also remember them in your prayers,
  263. 16:50as well as the people in Florida now, you know,
  264. 16:53I have friends and family in those areas.
  265. 16:55Now in fact, I wanna take some time
  266. 16:57and pray for these people now.
  267. 16:58Lord, I lift up the brothers and sisters and our fellow citizens who are in the storm-ravaged
  268. 17:04areas, Lord, some in portions of Florida and Georgia, Lord in North and South Carolina, some
  269. 17:11portions of Tennessee.
  270. 17:12God, my heart breaks for the devastation that I have seen.
  271. 17:17And Lord, I thank you for the resource that you have provided, Lord, and I ask that you
  272. 17:20would continue to meet their needs.
  273. 17:23Lord, my heart is heavy for those who've lost,
  274. 17:25family members and loved ones.
  275. 17:28God, I pray that you would comfort them by your spirit.
  276. 17:31Pray that in the face of all of this tragedy,
  277. 17:35Lord, that you would reveal yourself, Lord,
  278. 17:37to those in these areas who may not know you yet, Lord God.
  279. 17:40And for those who do know you,
  280. 17:42that they would be encouraged and strengthened
  281. 17:44in the power of your might, Lord.
  282. 17:46And for those father who are generously giving of themselves
  283. 17:50and their time and their resources
  284. 17:52in working in these relief efforts.
  285. 17:54Father, I printed you a strengthen them, Father.
  286. 17:56I printed you would bear them up upon your wings,
  287. 17:59Lord, gird them up, Lord, them and their family members.
  288. 18:02Father, that they would not get weary and well doing,
  289. 18:05but that they would be a tangible representation
  290. 18:07of the love of Christ.
  291. 18:09And Lord, I pray for the people in Florida now,
  292. 18:12those in the Tampa area and other parts of Florida
  293. 18:15that are facing what is coming their way.
  294. 18:17It seems it's coming their way.
  295. 18:19Father, pray that you will protect them.
  296. 18:21We know that even when men are wicked and contrived,
  297. 18:24Father, they are not potent enough to dethrone you, Father.
  298. 18:28And I pray that you would cover them, Lord,
  299. 18:31in the name of Jesus, Lord.
  300. 18:32And I pray that through all that is transpiring now,
  301. 18:35Father, that you would reveal yourself,
  302. 18:37and some will come to find a respite, Lord,
  303. 18:41in the eternal arc of safety, which is Christ Jesus.
  304. 18:44And I ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.
  305. 18:47Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen.
  306. 18:50I know I am in just in my own capacity and some folks in our local assembly, we're doing
  307. 18:56what we can to respond to the pain, frankly, and to the challenges and the difficulties of
  308. 19:03what's going on in that portion of our country.
  309. 19:07Again the number to call here is 877616 2396, that is 8776162396, to be a part of this fall
  310. 19:16call 2024, Sharathon to give your gift of support and many people from all over the country have
  311. 19:24given up their time and their talent, but also your resources. And I want to tell you thank
  312. 19:29you. It is not overlooked. We appreciate that. It is because of our appreciation that we endeavor
  313. 19:35to be good stewards of those resources. 877-616-2396 is the number to call 877-616-2396.
  314. 19:46On the foolish sisters, you're a front, it's just amazing that the hits just keep coming.
  315. 19:51And I learned a long time ago, I was talking to somebody yesterday when I was a young lawyer.
  316. 19:56And I was all revved up.
  317. 19:59I mean, you guys kind of know my personality.
  318. 20:01And I was no hopped up on a fresh law degree, you know, just passed my first bar exam.
  319. 20:08And I'm in trial and I'm ready and studied and I'm ready to roll.
  320. 20:12and opposing counsel was trying to get out of bounds
  321. 20:16and I stood objection, you know?
  322. 20:19And any trial attorneys know that judges typically
  323. 20:21found on speaking objections, usually,
  324. 20:24what you're invited to do is make your objection
  325. 20:26and state your rule of evidence
  326. 20:28or the basis of your objections succinctly,
  327. 20:31not this long soliloquy.
  328. 20:32Well, you know, I was going on and we were arguing
  329. 20:35and then the judge said, Mr. Hamilton, to the bench please.
  330. 20:37So it's like, you call it to the principles often.
  331. 20:40And the judge said to me,
  332. 20:41Look, we did a mindset.
  333. 20:42Mr. Hamilton, you need to learn when you're ahead.
  334. 20:46Step back, please.
  335. 20:48That was the judicial way of the judge saying,
  336. 20:50man, shut up.
  337. 20:55And it's a lesson I got and I'll never forget it.
  338. 20:58And I think that judge, and I had my second trial
  339. 21:00in front of that same judge, and the judge was like,
  340. 21:01you learn quickly.
  341. 21:02They thank you, judge.
  342. 21:03Thank you, Your Honor.
  343. 21:04You know, but the hits just keep coming.
  344. 21:08And this is the opposite side, not because they're ahead.
  345. 21:10It's like when you, if you're in a hole, stop digging.
  346. 21:14Stop digging, but they can't help it.
  347. 21:16know, because when the ditch is your home, you become one with the whole. And so to that
  348. 21:22end, let me give the number again before I get into this 877-616-2396 is the number
  349. 21:30877-616-2396. That's where you can call to make your donation over the phone or if you
  350. 21:37prefer and are comfortable doing so, you can give securely online at aFR.net. We are inviting

  354. 22:03this show live in addition to all of the resources that we have available curriculum,
  355. 22:09Documentaries film was you name it you have access to at all as a great commission partner
  356. 22:15uh, but what i'm getting to is that
  357. 22:18It's just amazing, you know, camera hairs can be bothered to do
  358. 22:24Much but she found her a way to get on the view and this is why you have wonder why they don't want her off script
  359. 22:30You wonder why they don't want her
  360. 22:33Talking without a teleprompter. I mean she did you see her at the rally over the weekend?
  361. 22:37when her teleprompter went out and she gave her a smile,
  362. 22:40oh my goodness.
  363. 22:42But not only that, on the view, okay, the view.
  364. 22:47Those blessed assurances at the view,
  365. 22:51which cannot be viewed as hard-hitting journalism.
  366. 22:54They asked a very simple question in a senseión.
  367. 23:00Y'all don't know what that is, huh?
  368. 23:02A senseión, that's sunny.
  369. 23:04Y'all ain't doing really.
  370. 23:05a saunceon, a saunceon on hosting, sunny hosting, asked Mrs. M. Hough, is there anything,
  371. 23:15any decision that Mr. Joseph Robin had Biden made that you think should be different? Would you have
  372. 23:23made any different decisions? Y'all not going to believe this? You not going to believe this.
  373. 23:28Listen to and watch clip number one. Go. Well, if anything, would you have done something
  374. 23:35differently than President Biden during the past four years.
  375. 23:39There is not a thing that comes to mind in terms of,
  376. 23:42and I've been a part of most of the decisions that have had impact.
  377. 23:48Oh. Is there anything you would have done different?
  378. 23:52Not that this is why I tell you, I tell you.
  379. 23:55It's pay attention, listen, what you say.
  380. 23:57And when people tell you who they are, what I tell you all to do,
  381. 24:00is to Angela, Angela, Maya Angelou, Maxson, right?
  382. 24:03She is telling you, Mr. Joseph Robinette and I are one.
  383. 24:08His decisions are mine.
  384. 24:09There are no decisions that he made that I would think differently.
  385. 24:15You know, none.
  386. 24:17So the 13 Americans who got killed and had disastrous,
  387. 24:20debau- disastrous, would draw a debacle from Afghanistan.
  388. 24:25Nah, I wouldn't have done anything different.
  389. 24:27Leaving all of our equipment over there,
  390. 24:28nah, nah, wouldn't have done anything different.
  391. 24:31Being weakless and feckless,
  392. 24:33that allowed your foreign diplomacy,
  393. 24:36to lead up to a Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
  394. 24:38When would the done anything different?
  395. 24:40You know, turning the spicket of funding on back for Iran,
  396. 24:46giving them billions of dollars that led to their attack
  397. 24:49through via Hamas in Israel on October 7.
  398. 24:53Yeah, when the done anything different, nothing different
  399. 24:55there, you know, letting in millions of illegal immigrants.
  400. 25:01Would you've done it?
  401. 25:02No, when did that anything different?
  402. 25:04When did that anything different?
  403. 25:06You know, the decisions that led to, I don't know,
  404. 25:0840 year hiring inflation.
  405. 25:10Nah, when did I anything different?
  406. 25:13This is what she is telling you.
  407. 25:14She's giving, I mean, you wanna talk about a softball.
  408. 25:17This is the one who's trying to say,
  409. 25:19well, I'm the candidate of change.
  410. 25:20We're turning the page, right, turning the page.
  411. 25:23But then she telling you, well, not really.
  412. 25:25You're not really turning any page.
  413. 25:28It's just me and me and Joe again,
  414. 25:32the same one is just remarkable.
  415. 25:35That's just say this all out.
  416. 25:38And then after the fact,
  417. 25:39She gonna go back and you believe it.
  418. 25:41She's gonna come out now and say,
  419. 25:43oh yeah, there are several things
  420. 25:44which are a little different because she didn't realize.
  421. 25:47And then of course, she goes on these ridiculous shows.
  422. 25:49I'm not even gonna get into this,
  423. 25:51the scripture talks about some things,
  424. 25:53she didn't even be spoken in public.
  425. 25:55I'm not even gonna get into the,
  426. 25:56wow, dead bodies are being discovered in the Carolinas.
  427. 26:00She's showing up on this sex podcast.
  428. 26:03I mean, it's despicable.
  429. 26:05It's degrading, frankly.
  430. 26:07but she can't, she won't go on any hard hearing interviews
  431. 26:10except CBS lit one on and I thought,
  432. 26:13I don't know, I think Bill Whitaker's skin color
  433. 26:15might have, might have fooled them.
  434. 26:18We'll get into some of that.
  435. 26:20But Bill Whitaker had some interesting things to ask
  436. 26:23and her responses were similarly interesting.
  437. 26:27But the number to call for Sheriff's on is 877-616-2396.
  438. 26:34That number again is 877-616-2396.
  439. 26:38when you call, you can provide a one-time donation of any amount.
  440. 26:42We are grateful for everything that God provides through our wonderful supporters and listeners,
  441. 26:49or you can sign up to be a monthly donor.
  442. 26:51And by the way, you can be a monthly donor at any amount.
  443. 26:54If you agree to sign up to do five bucks a month, three bucks a month, whatever it is,
  444. 27:00if you sign up to give 500 bucks a month, 10,000 a month, whatever the amount is, you are welcome
  445. 27:05to do so as God has graced you and you are gripped by the Lord that it would be a good stewardship
  446. 27:12of the resources he's provided for you to undergird the work of the ministry that he's doing through
  447. 27:17American Family Radio in particular and the entire American Family Association umbrella,
  448. 27:23then please, please do so, 877-616-2396 or you can give securely online by going to AFR.net.
  449. 27:34now. And now I'm sharing this with you now because I know CBS is editing the interview
  450. 27:40that they're going to air. So some of the some of the interviews already made available
  451. 27:45and they're starting to edit some of the the portions of the interview that's available
  452. 27:49online. It's amazing that they're doing that. But folks, we are in 1984. But Bill Whitaker,
  453. 27:55a correspondent from CBS, got to ask some pretty potent questions. Simple questions
  454. 28:01would think. But the responses again are amazing. For example, Mr. Whittaker asked her,
  455. 28:07you've changed your position so many times. It's somewhat understandable that the American people
  456. 28:13won't believe you. Listen to and watch clip number two. Go.
  457. 28:17Let me tell you what your critics and the columnists say. Okay. They say that the reason so many voters
  458. 28:23don't know you is that you have changed your position on so many things. You are against fracking,
  459. 28:31Now you're for it, you supported looser immigration policies,
  460. 28:35now you're tightening them up, you're for Medicare for all, now you're not.
  461. 28:40So many that people don't truly know what you believe or what you stand for, and I know you've heard that.
  462. 28:48In the last four years, I have been Vice President of the United States,
  463. 28:52and I have been traveling our country, and I have been listening to folks,
  464. 28:56and seeking what is possible in terms of common ground.
  465. 29:01I believe in building consensus.
  466. 29:03We are a diverse people, geographically,
  467. 29:06regionally in terms of where we are in our backgrounds.
  468. 29:10And what the American people do want
  469. 29:12is that we have leaders who can build consensus
  470. 29:16where we can figure out compromise and understand
  471. 29:19it's not a bad thing as long as you don't compromise
  472. 29:21your values to find common sense solutions.
  473. 29:26And that has been my approach.
  474. 29:35Bill would have hit it with the bushy mustache.
  475. 29:39It said, uh, ma'am, you be lying.
  476. 29:45Call.
  477. 29:47You're stupid.
  478. 29:50And then her response is, well, I've traveled the country.
  479. 29:54That's, that's, that's her traveled the country version of, well,
  480. 29:56I grew up in the middle class family.
  481. 29:59You know, and it's amazing that these people really think
  482. 30:01the American people are just so dense.
  483. 30:04So, man, you're in your early 60s, right?
  484. 30:06You have had the same views since you have been in politics.
  485. 30:11You know, you grew up with a,
  486. 30:12your father was a Marxist professor.
  487. 30:15You know, you booked it out of Cali,
  488. 30:18you got like to say you're a girl from Oakland,
  489. 30:19you really grew up in Canada.
  490. 30:21Not a conservative bastion as a nation.
  491. 30:24and then you go from Canada to Howard University,
  492. 30:28then where do you go?
  493. 30:29Oh, San Francisco.
  494. 30:32I'm sure there was nothing in San Francisco
  495. 30:34that contributed to your worldview in ideology.
  496. 30:38Sure, not.
  497. 30:39I mean, come on, you have had the same views
  498. 30:41for now all of a sudden,
  499. 30:4360 days or so.
  500. 30:45Now, I didn't seem to like the light shown from above.
  501. 30:52It's just remarkable.
  502. 30:54It's remarkable.
  503. 30:56It's remarkable.
  504. 30:58I've traveled the country.
  505. 30:59And she says, it's not a problem building consensus
  506. 31:02as long as you don't change your values.
  507. 31:04You explain this to me.
  508. 31:05How do you compromise with, oh, I'm against fracking,
  509. 31:10and now I'm for fracking.
  510. 31:11Where's the compromise there?
  511. 31:13Then what's your values then?
  512. 31:14What's the value that you're not?
  513. 31:16See, when she says she hasn't changed the values,
  514. 31:18what she means is exactly what they did
  515. 31:21with the Inflation Reduction Act.
  516. 31:23She supported the Green New Deal, was proud of it.
  517. 31:26signed up as a co-sponsor in the United States Senate.
  518. 31:30The Green New Deal was not popular with the American people.
  519. 31:33They didn't want it passed.
  520. 31:35The American people start suffering massive inflation.
  521. 31:41Families are being decimated.
  522. 31:44You've probably seen a video and heard the clip
  523. 31:46I played it on the show,
  524. 31:47the woman from Chicago saying they're killing us
  525. 31:50without killing us.
  526. 31:53We can't live with $8, eight dollar eggs per dozen.
  527. 31:56Eight dollars per dozen.
  528. 31:59So what they do is take the pain of the American people,
  529. 32:03refuse to address anything concerning the American people's
  530. 32:05pain and then advance their prerogatives and say,
  531. 32:08look, American people, we're addressing your pain.
  532. 32:10When all along the Green New Deal is what was
  533. 32:13in the inflation reduction act, that's what she's saying.
  534. 32:15And then Bill Whitaker called her on it.
  535. 32:19Bill Whitaker called her on it.
  536. 32:21Well, that's not it.
  537. 32:22This is gonna be another one of the days we run out of show.
  538. 32:25Run out of time before we run out of show.
  539. 32:27But it's actually remarkable that these things
  540. 32:29Transpire and continue to transpire before we get to this next break with the Disrespector music starts

  560. 34:47Welcome back to day one of the fall 2024 Sherrathon edition of the Hamilton Corner,
  561. 34:54Abraham Hamilton the third here to number the call of you would like to
  562. 34:58participate in this fall share time we have about 18 minutes left a number to
  563. 35:03call us eight seven seven six one six two three nine six that number again is eight
  564. 35:08seven seven six one six two three nine six or you can give securely online at
  565. 35:15a F R dot net this CBS interview a bill Whitaker oh my goodness if you think
  566. 35:23that was something. Well, Bill kept going and his question,
  567. 35:29the mission and the sad part is there weren't like groundbreaking
  568. 35:33questions, they're just normal question that any journalist
  569. 35:40would ask. And it just highlights just how devolved this entire
  570. 35:46process has become, because you would think that in the nation,
  571. 35:51that is a constitutional Republic with democratic features. And
  572. 35:54I know that many regressors like to consistently refer to our nation as an democracy and I know
  573. 35:58why because they want to conceal our Constitution.
  574. 36:02They want to ignore the notion that our founders explicitly and directly rejected the concept
  575. 36:07of an absolute or direct democracy in favor of a republic.
  576. 36:11And then not only does the United States of America do we consist of a republic, but we
  577. 36:16are a constitutional republic.
  578. 36:19Our written Constitution was the first written Constitution in the world at the time that
  579. 36:24it was written. All right. But Regressors want to conceal that because they want to work
  580. 36:30ever so continuously to move us toward the concept of a direct democracy, but for the
  581. 36:36express purposes ultimately to accomplish the fundamental transformation of the United States of
  582. 36:43Merck. Well, Bill Whitaker, knowing the consistent reference to our nation as an democracy,
  583. 36:52To me the minute now, Mrs. Harris M. Hough, the way you have become the Democrat nominee,
  584. 37:02are you cool with that? Is that the way our system is supposed to work? Listen to and watch
  585. 37:06clip number three. Go. Was democracy best served by President Biden stepping down and
  586. 37:14basically handing you a nomination? You didn't have to go through a primary process. You didn't have
  587. 37:20to fight off other contenders. That's not really the way our system was intended to work.
  588. 37:27President Biden made a decision that I think history is going to show is rare among leaders,
  589. 37:37which was to put country before self. And I am proud to have earned the support of the vast majority
  590. 37:47of delegates and to have been elected the Democratic nominee, I am proud to have received
  591. 37:54the endorsement of leaders around this country from every background and walk of life to fight
  592. 38:03in this election over the next month for our democracy.
  593. 38:09But I think this truncated process is why people think or say they don't really know who you
  594. 38:16are.
  595. 38:17I've been in this race for 70 days.
  596. 38:22She don't understand the obvious contradiction of her response.
  597. 38:25You see, listen here, Bill, listen to me.
  598. 38:30See if you can pick up what mama's putting down here, Bill.
  599. 38:33You see, I got selected by the unelected because I want to be the one to protect it,
  600. 38:39that democracy.
  601. 38:44And she feels like, no, no, no, no, you don't say what I'm saying.
  602. 38:47So you're telling me that you are literally the personification of
  603. 38:52Undemocratic and you've been undemocratic to become the protector of democracy
  604. 39:03Boy that's funny that is funny and Bill what I'm just asking questions again that any journalist would ask
  605. 39:10it continues
  606. 39:12The border thing let me get the number before I get to the border thing eight seven seven
  607. 39:17616-239-6. 877-616-2396. And I've already seen that some of this interview's CBS is already scrubbing
  608. 39:27and kind of twisting. That's why I'm bringing it to you now because I want you to hear this stuff before
  609. 39:31the scrub curated notions begin to circulate. And that's why many of you tune into this program.
  610. 39:39877-616-2396 is the number to call or you can give securely online at aFR.net.
  611. 39:47Next up, Mr. Whittaker went there, the border.
  612. 39:52He had questions about the border, crossings, illegal crossings quadrupled from where they
  613. 40:00were under former President Trump.
  614. 40:01I mean, before I get that, you know, let me take a few steps back.
  615. 40:05In the previous clip, she talked about history is going to show that what Mr. Biden did was
  616. 40:11rare for leaders to where they put country before themselves.
  617. 40:15You know what I think always makes me laugh when they say that?
  618. 40:19And they say things like that.
  619. 40:22Like what?
  620. 40:25Mr. Joseph Robin Ed Biden spent his entire career
  621. 40:28in Washington and in politics, showed up in Washington,
  622. 40:32broke as a joke.
  623. 40:35I'm not a man who's uber wealthy.
  624. 40:37You think we don't know that his stepping aside included,
  625. 40:44would you say it this way?
  626. 40:46Some notions for the big guy and his family,
  627. 40:49leaving that aside.
  628. 40:52people feel to remember for some reason.
  629. 40:56Do you remember how the world,
  630. 40:57how our nation and the world viewed
  631. 41:01Donald Trump before he ran for president?
  632. 41:03Do you remember that?
  633. 41:04The world, our nation loved him.
  634. 41:07He was in every rapper's song, rapper's video.
  635. 41:10He's hanging out with Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson
  636. 41:13at the Rainbow Push Coalition functions.
  637. 41:15He's on television.
  638. 41:17You know, he's everywhere.
  639. 41:19You know, he has thriving businesses, golf courses,
  640. 41:22buildings. You know, I can't tell you number, rap songs about I want to come up like Trump.
  641. 41:27And he runs for office. Here's another thing a lot of people don't realize. Do you realize
  642. 41:32when Mr. Trump was in office as the president? He never took $1 of his salary. Do you realize
  643. 41:36that? Most people don't even know that. Now, let me ask you another question. How many
  644. 41:40dollars of the salary do you think Mr. Joseph Robin had Biden to? Every one of them. Every
  645. 41:47one of them. You know what? He was such a selfless sacrifice. I'm just keeping real with
  646. 41:52you guys, Mr. Trump running for the presidency is because he cares more about the country
  647. 41:55than his own well-being.
  648. 41:58This running for the presidency made this man to become unloved.
  649. 42:03Before he ran for the presidency, they loved him and in fact, we want to take all the way
  650. 42:07back, all the way back.
  651. 42:12They even loved him in the Republican primary because one, they didn't think he wouldn't
  652. 42:15a Republican primary and then two, they thought she shouldn't ever be president would easily
  653. 42:20beat him.
  654. 42:21So they were pulling for him.
  655. 42:22Do y'all remember that?
  656. 42:23I do.
  657. 42:24So when they talk about these things, what's rare?
  658. 42:27And look, I know Mr. Trump has ego problems and everything,
  659. 42:34but for anybody to say that his run for the presidency,
  660. 42:36at least initially was for any reason
  661. 42:38other than the fact that he loved the country,
  662. 42:40y'all are just not being honest.
  663. 42:41Y'all are just not being honest, you know?
  664. 42:44And whether you believe it or not,
  665. 42:46he said numerous times that he's running now
  666. 42:49because he sees that country going in the wrong direction.
  667. 42:51Now I do think it's two things motivating him.
  668. 42:53I do think he believes he should have won reelection.
  669. 42:562020, but I also think he believes these jokers are running the country into the ground and
  670. 43:04performance seems to be an indication that he's probably right about it.
  671. 43:07But now Mr. Whittaker turns to the notion of the border, the number again for to give your
  672. 43:12gift during Sheraton is eight seven seven six one six two three nine six that number again
  673. 43:18is eight seven seven six one six two three nine six or you can give securely online at
  674. 43:25AFR.net that is for AmericanFamilyRadio.net.
  675. 43:30Mr. Widerker asked her, set the question up by saying, I've studied the border for a long
  676. 43:35time.
  677. 43:37The border has been a problem for a long time.
  678. 43:39Mr. Trump did some things about the border.
  679. 43:43When you came into office, illegal border crossings quadrupled.
  680. 43:47Was it a mistake for you to do what you did when you guys took office?
  681. 43:53Number four, go.
  682. 43:55I've been covering the border for years.
  683. 43:59And so I know this is not a problem
  684. 44:01that started with your administration.
  685. 44:03Correct, correct.
  686. 44:04But there was, and historic,
  687. 44:07slug of undocumented immigrants coming across the border,
  688. 44:11the first three years of your administration.
  689. 44:15As a matter of fact, arrivals quadrupled
  690. 44:18from the last year of President Trump.
  691. 44:21Was it a mistake to loosen the immigration policies
  692. 44:27as much as you did?
  693. 44:28It's a long standing problem.
  694. 44:31And solutions are at hand.
  695. 44:33And from day one, literally, we have been offering solutions.
  696. 44:38But what I was asking was, was it a mistake
  697. 44:41to kind of allow that flood to happen in the first place?
  698. 44:47The policies that we have been proposing
  699. 44:50are about fixing a problem, not promoting a problem.
  700. 44:53Okay.
  701. 44:54But the numbers did quadruple.
  702. 44:56And the numbers today, because of what we have done,
  703. 44:59we have cut the flow of illegal immigration by half.
  704. 45:04We have cut the flow of fentanyl by half,
  705. 45:08but we need Congress to be able to act,
  706. 45:12to actually fix the problem.
  707. 45:17Oh, she got mad, didn't she?
  708. 45:19Oh, Billy Bob with the thick stash wasn't planned with it, man.
  709. 45:25That's not what I asked you.
  710. 45:26I asked you.
  711. 45:28And then he set her up what she thought she was about to get a softball right down the
  712. 45:32plate.
  713. 45:33I've studied the border for a long time and I know that the border was a problem long before
  714. 45:38you came into office and look at her.
  715. 45:41Correct, correct.
  716. 45:43That correct.
  717. 45:44Yes, correct.
  718. 45:45Then he hit it with the boom.
  719. 45:48Mr. Donald Trump was able to get some control over that thing.
  720. 45:58And then you and Mr. Ice Creamman, y'all come in and boom, right out the gate.
  721. 46:05Illegal border crossings quadruple, quadruple.
  722. 46:13Wasn't a mistake for you to loosen those policies straight away?
  723. 46:15And what is he talking about?
  724. 46:17Oh, he's talking about the 94 separate executive actions that Mr. Trump took.
  725. 46:23Miss Harris because you remember she was there for everything last one in the room
  726. 46:27Biden's actions and policies are her actions and policies by her own account remember she said there's not one thing I would change
  727. 46:33So you all intentionally hunting you'd like you do a control F on the keyboard
  728. 46:42Everything that Trump did control F delete control F everything he did concerning the border and it results
  729. 46:49Oh, well, what'd you look at that?
  730. 46:53Border illegal border crossings quadruple.
  731. 46:55Madam borders are.
  732. 46:59Do you think it was good for you to do that?
  733. 47:02She tried to ask the question.
  734. 47:03Well, we did.
  735. 47:04We're looking for solutions.
  736. 47:06Ma'am, that ain't what I asked you.
  737. 47:08Was it wrong for you to remove the decisions
  738. 47:12that the Trump administration implemented to protect the border?
  739. 47:17Wow, it's nice.
  740. 47:18Congress.
  741. 47:19It's Congress really now. Can you tell me what are those things that Congress did when you guys took office that led to the quadrupling of the illegal?
  742. 47:28Oh, that's right. Congress didn't do anything to cause the border crossings to quadruple. That was y'all. That was y'all
  743. 47:40Because it was you control F deleting the 94 executive actions from the Trump Trump administration that led to the
  744. 47:49explosion at the border and you literally try to fix your mouth and say yes we
  745. 47:56exploded it four times higher and now we've cut off the spigot as like saying
  746. 48:04your house is flooded right your house was not flooded then camel and mr.
  747. 48:09Robinette come in and they flood your home they flood your home and then they
  748. 48:16say, I ain't by the way, we've we've turned down the faucet. So not as much water is running
  749. 48:23through that we turned on.
  750. 48:28Boy, y'all, y'all, they go, it goes to play with the American people.
  751. 48:30Y'all are crazy. Y'all are crazy. Y'all are crazy. 87616 2396 is the number to call 877 616 2396 is the number to call to make
  752. 48:47your best gift, the best gift that you're capable of to support the work of the ministry, the
  753. 48:52ministry here at American Family Association and American Family Radio, or you can give securely
  754. 48:56online at aFR.net.
  755. 48:58877-616-2396, or you can give securely online at aFR.net.
  756. 49:06I'll give you all one more.
  757. 49:08And this is a blast from the past where this gives you a window into what has been going
  758. 49:12on within the halls of government, these government apparatus, these bureaucracies, which is why
  759. 49:17You know the notion of draining a swamp was so attractive so effective because people know man. This is not right
  760. 49:23So what I'm gonna show you was actually a clip from 2023. All right. I know this this clip has been making rounds of social media and some people think
  761. 49:32That this was something that just happened. It's not this came from 2023
  762. 49:35All right, but it is an insight into the changing of prerogatives and priorities and then since this instance
  763. 49:43FEMA. All right. When I'm going to show you, this is from a webinar from March 2023 that includes
  764. 49:51FEMA's emergency management specialist by the name of Tyler Adkins, as well as a lady by the
  765. 49:59name of Maggie Jerry, who is a senior emergency management specialist. They are talking about the
  766. 50:04changing priorities at FEMA. This again is from March 2023. It's clip number five. Go.
  767. 50:10sparked a few things in my mind thinking about preparedness and how you said you
  768. 50:16know LGBTQIA people and people who have been disadvantaged already are
  769. 50:23struggling. They already have their own things to deal with so you add a disaster
  770. 50:29on top of that it's just compounding on itself and I think that is maybe the why
  771. 50:39of why we're having these discussions,
  772. 50:41because it isn't being talked about,
  773. 50:42it isn't being socialized.
  774. 50:44We're not paying attention to this community.
  775. 50:48Thank you so much.
  776. 50:49Maggie.
  777. 50:50Thank you.
  778. 50:51Yeah, there are a couple of things
  779. 50:53that are intersecting in my mind here.
  780. 50:55One of them is the culture of emergency management
  781. 50:57as an organization, as an industry
  782. 51:00in the United States, specifically, not abroad.
  783. 51:04This has, and my cat sometimes does this.
  784. 51:06She gets really loud suddenly.
  785. 51:07So you'll have to just allow for the little meowing
  786. 51:09in the background.
  787. 51:11The shift that we're seeing right now
  788. 51:14is a shift in emergency management from utilitarian principles
  789. 51:18where everything is designed for the greatest good,
  790. 51:20for the greatest amount of people to disaster equity.
  791. 51:25But we have to do more, right?
  792. 51:27And so this topic is intersecting, I think,
  793. 51:30with a number of other topics
  794. 51:31where we have to look at policies
  795. 51:34and understand, to what extent,
  796. 51:36they have disadvantaged communities that have less assets,
  797. 51:40communities that have preexisting vulnerabilities
  798. 51:43in accessing disaster-related recovery supports.
  799. 51:48Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey.
  800. 51:52They're shifting from prioritizing
  801. 51:54the greatest good for the greatest amount of people
  802. 51:58to disaster equity.
  803. 52:02I wonder how much of that thinking
  804. 52:04and reasoning could have impacted, I don't know,
  805. 52:09what's happening in the Carolinas?
  806. 52:12Man, y'all stay safe, this is crazy.
  807. 52:15Lord willing tomorrow, we'll be back with day two
  808. 52:18of the fall shareathon.
