  9. 0:26Let's not miss our moment.
  10. 0:28And now the Hamilton Corner.
  11. 0:31Good evening, everyone.
  12. 0:34Thank you for tuning in to the Hamilton Corner here on American Family Radio.
  13. 0:37I'm your host, Abraham Hamilton the third.
  14. 0:40And we are locked and loaded, ready to rock and roll with today's edition of the program
  15. 0:45at this very moment.
  16. 0:46Many of you, if not most of you are making your transition from your part time jobs where
  17. 0:50you generate an income to your full time jobs where you cultivate an outcome.
  18. 0:54And as you do so, I want to remind you to do so with intentionality.
  19. 0:58understand in the primacy that God places on our families. I say it and I will
  20. 1:03continue to say it because what goes on in your house and in my house is far
  21. 1:09more important than what is going on in the White House. I don't say this to
  22. 1:13denigrate what happens at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. I say it simply because
  23. 1:17you and I are directly accountable to God and responsible for what transpires
  24. 1:23within our immediate jurisdiction.
  25. 1:27We are directly responsible for that.
  26. 1:29Very often we can get caught up in the headlines of the day
  27. 1:33and the things that are swirling around us,
  28. 1:35societally and induces us to kind of
  29. 1:39a negligent disposition to where we're keeping up
  30. 1:45with all of the various headlines and things,
  31. 1:47we're not recognizing, whoa, I have people in my own home.
  32. 1:54If you're in the life stage as I am with young children still in your home,
  33. 2:00you want to talk about who's your neighbor when the scripture talks about loving your neighbor.
  34. 2:03The word neighbor literally means the nearest one and literally.
  35. 2:07You don't get any nearer than those who are sitting around your table.
  36. 2:11And then in addition to that, I've been saying this repeatedly as I've been encouraging
  37. 2:18our audience here to live locally.
  38. 2:20When was the last time you knocked on your literal neighbor's door?
  39. 2:23When was the last time you invited them over for dinner?
  40. 2:27One of the greatest resources that you and I have living in the greatest country that God
  41. 2:32has afforded mankind in all of human history, one of the greatest resources that we have is
  42. 2:37our own homes, that the ministry of hospitality is one that God often uses to break down barriers,
  43. 2:45to break down walls.
  44. 2:48And so if you would, you can be the hands and feet of Jesus right in your neighborhood,
  45. 2:54knocking on your neighbor's door, finding out what is their eternal soul's condition.
  46. 2:58You know, are they believers?
  47. 2:59Are they not believers?
  48. 3:02And do we even know?
  49. 3:04And in addition to do we even know, do we even care?
  50. 3:09And if we don't, or let me say it better, haven't cared to date, well guess what?
  51. 3:15That doesn't have to be the end of the conversation.
  52. 3:18We can bring that before the Lord, repent of that callousness and then be about our father's
  53. 3:24business now.
  54. 3:25And I know what's happening.
  55. 3:28I keep up with the things that are happening in our country.
  56. 3:30I'm aware of the various threats, but I think one of the biggest threats that goes unnoticed
  57. 3:36in our country is a passivity, a negligence and a list fullness that is crept in and seeped
  58. 3:46then unsettled within the professing body of Christ.
  59. 3:51But it doesn't have, that I'd have to be the end
  60. 3:52of the conversation.
  61. 3:54So as you are making your transition to your full time job
  62. 3:56at this very moment, I wanna encourage you
  63. 3:58to resolve it right now in your heart.
  64. 4:00Scold before the Lord and resolve the matter right now
  65. 4:03that with the time that you have remaining
  66. 4:05on this side of eternity, you will live
  67. 4:09for the glory of God.
  68. 4:12And living for the glory of God is welcoming his love
  69. 4:16to well up in us, overflowingly,
  70. 4:21so that it moves us to obey what Jesus commanded us
  71. 4:26in executing His commission, amen.
  72. 4:30So to the word of God we go,
  73. 4:32I refer to this passage, well, this chapter earlier this week,
  74. 4:35but I wanna drill down on a particular portion
  75. 4:37of a Galatians chapter five,
  76. 4:39what we're gonna be today is verses 13 and 14,
  77. 4:42Galatians chapter five, 13 and 14,
  78. 4:45Galatians chapter 5 verses 13 and 14. By way of reminder Paul's epistle to the
  79. 4:54Galatians comes to us as a result of Paul ministering to people who were
  80. 5:02largely Gentiles in Galatia and proclaiming that salvation is the free gift
  81. 5:11of God that we are saved by grace through faith. Well subsequent to his ministry to
  82. 5:17There were Judaizers who had traversed the same area and basically contradicted Paul's teaching and said that no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
  83. 5:24If you truly want to be in God's grace, if you truly want to experience the joys of salvation, you have to convert to Judaism,
  84. 5:34including entering into relationship with God via circumcision, which Paul ended up calling mutilators of the flesh.
  85. 5:45of the flesh. And Paul sends this letter with a bit of urgency when you study the Pauline
  86. 5:52epistles. You'll find Paul usually begins these epistles with an introduction or a prologue,
  87. 5:59a pretty significant and substantive prologue. But if you look in his epistles to the Galatians,
  88. 6:04the prologue is truncated. It's very, very much reduced. And you can get the sense of urgency
  89. 6:12with which Paul is writing because as he says, so foolish Galatians who has bewitched you,
  90. 6:17having begun in the grace of God, now will you return to the works of the flesh?
  91. 6:24And he wrote with that urgency because the heresy, frankly, that he was confronting was
  92. 6:30one that would deprive those who would be seduced by it from, will be deprived of thriving in
  93. 6:39a relationship with Messiah through faith by grace through faith.
  94. 6:43Salvation is a free gift of God.
  95. 6:45It is a product of the finished, the toning work of Jesus on the cross in our
  96. 6:52humble and gracious receipt and acceptance for what Christ has done for us by faith.
  97. 7:00It is not a product of works by which any man or in which any man can boast.
  98. 7:06It is the free gift of God.
  99. 7:08And so that is what the Apostle Paul was confronting when we get to chapter five of this epistle.
  100. 7:14And this is a conversation that precedes his distinguishing the fruit or the evidence of
  101. 7:21the flesh and the fruit of the spirit.
  102. 7:24But he says something.
  103. 7:26And as is the case with Pauline apologetic presentations, his case is usually built upon
  104. 7:34the biblical history and the theological truth articulated in the Hebrew Bible.
  105. 7:39And he says something that in our contemporary context, we often refer to it as the golden rule,
  106. 7:46but really using that terminology, the golden rule is really a diminishment
  107. 7:51of what God really conveys to us. When people say, well, treat us as well, you want to be treated,
  108. 7:54that actually is not what the scripture says. That is a colloquial reduction of what the
  109. 8:01The scripture says, because the Bible goes beyond just
  110. 8:05treating people in a certain way, the Bible gives us
  111. 8:08instruction that goes far beyond that.
  112. 8:10And what you're gonna see is that it is a command of God.
  113. 8:15It is not a society suggestion, so for everybody
  114. 8:18to get along, it's a command of God to his people,
  115. 8:21to his body, to his believers.
  116. 8:23So we as believers should be champions of this
  117. 8:26and should lead in the demonstration
  118. 8:28of what this looks like.
  119. 8:29So with that, let us turn to the text Galatians 5,
  120. 8:33verses 13 and 14.
  121. 8:34And this is what God's holy word says,
  122. 8:36for you referring to the believer,
  123. 8:39you believer, were called to freedom, brethren.
  124. 8:44Once again, the usage of the term brethren
  125. 8:46is an affirmation that this is family talk.
  126. 8:49This is for us who are members of the family of God,
  127. 8:51members of the household of faith.
  128. 8:53For us, brethren, we were called to freedom only.
  129. 8:59Do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.
  130. 9:12For the whole law, the whole law is fulfilled in one word.
  131. 9:19In this statement, you shall love your neighbor as yourself.
  132. 9:26Now I'm going to dig into this a little bit.
  133. 9:29So the Apostle Paul who is the apostle who traversed the known world proclaiming that salvation is
  134. 9:40the free gift of God that we are saved by grace through faith that we are not under the
  135. 9:47obligations of the ceremonial law, the obligations of the features of the works of the flesh.
  136. 10:00We are free in Christ, however, however, there's a difference between liberty or freedom and
  137. 10:08autonomy.
  138. 10:10I've explained before, freedom, liberty is a freedom to function as God has designed us
  139. 10:17and ordained for us to function.
  140. 10:20Autonomy is a disposition of rebellion to where you sever your connection to the transcendent
  141. 10:26creator and seek to establish as the old as the scripture says, what is right in your own eyes,
  142. 10:34divorced from what God has ordained. Do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh.
  143. 10:44See, we as believers are never free to submit to the lordship of the flesh. No,
  144. 10:55because that is not freedom. That's bondage. Brothers, that's bondage, sisters. And in the freedom,
  145. 11:04we are to serve one another.
  146. 11:06One of the major touchstones of being in Christ
  147. 11:09is that it moves us beyond the arcane,
  148. 11:12adolescent, juvenile disposition of self-absorption
  149. 11:17and self-centeredness.
  150. 11:19But where we mature and grow into a maturation ethic
  151. 11:25to what we recognize the greatest display of love
  152. 11:30is we're willing to give oneself for another.
  153. 11:33That's what I explained before,
  154. 11:34one of the natural life progressions
  155. 11:37that got us established to usher men
  156. 11:40into mature biblical masculinity is through fatherhood
  157. 11:44and through marriage.
  158. 11:45Because we then are in,
  159. 11:48we're institutionally established
  160. 11:51to where our function is selfless at its root,
  161. 11:57which is why the text very plainly says,
  162. 11:58for this cause shall amen leave his father and mother
  163. 12:00and be joined into his wife
  164. 12:02the two shall become one flesh, his attention, his temporal life priority, second only to
  165. 12:09his personal relationship commitment and devotion to our Heavenly Father becomes our wives. And
  166. 12:15then the progeny that issues from our union with our wives. Then the text goes on in verse
  167. 12:2214, it says, for the whole law. Now remember, the Apostle Paul is confronting the seductive
  168. 12:29in deceptive, heretical work of Judaizers attempting to persuade Gentile Christians,
  169. 12:36new young Gentile Christians to abandon salvation by grace of faith and to turn to the works
  170. 12:41of the law because there is this pre-immanent notion of the Jews having a corner on the market,
  171. 12:50if you will, to faithfulness to God.
  172. 12:53So you have the Pharisee, the Jewish scholar Messianic Apostle Paul saying, no, no, no,
  173. 13:00These people are lying to you.
  174. 13:02These people are lying to you because the very law that they are conveying to you that you
  175. 13:07can be surrendered to in reality, the whole law is fulfilled in this.
  176. 13:12This is what Paul is explaining and that context is important to appropriately lift the black
  177. 13:17letters off the page in giving it the gravity that it should hold.
  178. 13:22For the whole law is actually fulfilled in one word.
  179. 13:26And when Paul says the law, he's talking about the Mosaic law, the Hebrew scriptures,
  180. 13:31The whole law is fulfilled in one word.
  181. 13:33You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
  182. 13:42Paul is echoing what Jesus said
  183. 13:45as it's recorded in Matthew 22.
  184. 13:46Well, what is the greatest commandment?
  185. 13:49Rabbi, what the first is you shall love the Lord your God
  186. 13:53with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength.
  187. 13:54Matthew 22.
  188. 13:56And the second is like it.
  189. 13:58You shall love your neighbor as yourself on these,
  190. 14:01hang the entirety of the law and the prophets.
  191. 14:03That's what Jesus said.
  192. 14:04So Paul is echoing the saying thing that Jesus said.
  193. 14:06But when both Jesus said it and Paul is saying it now,
  194. 14:10this is not a New Testament invention.
  195. 14:11In fact, Paul is quoting, and Jesus was quoting
  196. 14:14from Leviticus chapter 19 verse 18.
  197. 14:18Cause that is where Yahweh first articulates this
  198. 14:20in the Holy Word.
  199. 14:21Love your neighbor as yourself.
  200. 14:22And later, later the Apostle James,
  201. 14:24I'm not later earlier actually the Apostle James says
  202. 14:26that this loving your neighbor as yourself
  203. 14:28is the royal law.
  204. 14:35Loving your neighbor as yourself is the royal law.
  205. 14:38This is a part of the reason why.
  206. 14:40What goes on in your house is more important
  207. 14:42because the nearest ones starts within our families.
  208. 14:44It's not exclusively limited to that,
  209. 14:46but that's where it starts.
  210. 14:48An even civic engagement is an iteration
  211. 14:51of loving your neighbor.
  212. 14:52What country will our grandchildren and our children
  213. 14:55inherit following our labor?
  214. 15:00Hello, I'm Abraham Hamilton III.

  225. 15:37This is the Hamilton Corner, an American family radio.
  226. 15:41Welcome back to the Hamilton Corner, Abraham, Hamilton III.
  227. 15:44I'm over the moon overjoyed to have on the program with me and a brother who I feel like
  228. 15:49literally this is a brother from another mother with the same heavenly father.
  229. 15:53I am speaking of none other than former Texas State representative attorney successful entrepreneur
  230. 15:59founder and president of the Patriot Academy who's also a speaker for wall builders and
  231. 16:07founder of the torch of freedom foundation.
  232. 16:09I'm speaking, oh, also I should mention this,
  233. 16:11co-host of AFA at the core right here,
  234. 16:14that's gonna be here right here on American Family Radio.
  235. 16:17I am speaking of none other than the honorable Rick Green.
  236. 16:21Rick, thank you for joining me here on the program.
  237. 16:24Anytime, eh, good to be with you brother.
  238. 16:26Oh man, it is, it is, it is my pleasure
  239. 16:29to have you with me.
  240. 16:30Last time, you and I were together,
  241. 16:32I was actually at your place in Constitution City, Texas,
  242. 16:36on the campus of Patriot Academy.
  243. 16:37And as we're telling you before we came on,
  244. 16:40that it was just a nourishing time for me
  245. 16:42to tangibly see the vision that God gave you
  246. 16:46coming to fruition and being in that chamber,
  247. 16:49that legislative hall right there in the center
  248. 16:52of your campus was just, it just was
  249. 16:55an exciting experience for me.
  250. 16:57And so I wanted to kind of get an update
  251. 16:59on what's all of the goings on in Constitution City, Texas,
  252. 17:02because I know you had a skirmish lately,
  253. 17:05because people like to see a one hundred seventy seven plus acres of
  254. 17:08of fire breathing holy holy spirit filled
  255. 17:12constitution loving liberty
  256. 17:14going on right there in the state of texas so what is going what has been
  257. 17:17happening there
  258. 17:18uh... at the picture academy campus
  259. 17:20well first of all that was great having you and and what you're describing is uh...
  260. 17:24i hear it so often it's just uh... when you come there
  261. 17:28uh... really believe that uh... you know prepared that place that to be a
  262. 17:31place that people can come and get nourished and get, you really filled up with a sense
  263. 17:38of purpose and patriotism for our country based on Biblical values and knowing that we
  264. 17:44don't worship America or any of that stuff, but we are thankful for America and we're
  265. 17:48thankful that God put us in a place where we have the freedom to do these things.
  266. 17:53We have the freedom to literally impact the future of our children and grandchildren.
  267. 17:59And so we're not in this helpless situation.
  268. 18:01We're in a wonderful, wonderful, we've been placing a wonderful time.
  269. 18:05Ronald Reagan used to say, you know, I'm glad I don't live in pale and timid times,
  270. 18:08but we live in a time where we get to do something that makes a difference.
  271. 18:11And I think that's what people walk away with very often when they leave the campus.
  272. 18:15And yeah, we're very thankful, man.
  273. 18:16God's blessed us so much with the house chamber, the legislative hall,
  274. 18:20where we can do these legislative simulations that put people in the hot seat, you know.
  275. 18:24They get a chance to actually be a legislator for a few days and see what it's like,
  276. 18:28which makes you better as a citizen because then you really understand the process and
  277. 18:33makes you better as a pastor because now you know how to talk to your leaders in your community
  278. 18:37and know how the process works. They kind of know where to push and pull, but to impact those
  279. 18:42things. So that's why we do that. And then of course the years we're training up the next
  280. 18:47generation of leaders that used to be held for a week in a state capital somewhere. Now we get
  281. 18:52to have them for a whole year. So I will be welcoming a new class of the Patriot Institute
  282. 18:57this weekend they're getting getting moved into those those cottages that that that you
  283. 19:01mentioned we had
  284. 19:02uh... yes a very very um...
  285. 19:05trying summer let me put it that way brother it was
  286. 19:08it was uh...
  287. 19:09uh... i've learned you know the the verses of james a black out of all joy when you
  288. 19:13experience trial i used to quote that people all the time
  289. 19:16and after this one i i i i i have a much better understanding
  290. 19:20of why it you do count joy when you're going through that tough time
  291. 19:24because of what God's teaching you and what he's going to do with that tough time in you
  292. 19:29and in your circumstances.
  293. 19:31And we certainly saw that because we almost, well to put it bluntly, we almost had a Muslim,
  294. 19:38it would have been an Islamic boarding school that would have turned into a Madrasa and
  295. 19:43mosque and everything right next door to us.
  296. 19:46They wanted to do their, what they're doing in Houston and all of our Texas.
  297. 19:52It's literally an Islamic invasion in Texas happening right now.
  298. 19:56And when I say they're in our backyard, they were literally in our backyard and wanted to
  299. 20:01do that.
  300. 20:02And so it was through just some miracles that only God could have pulled off.
  301. 20:07I mean, I honestly felt to be really blunt with your brother.
  302. 20:11I felt out of total weight of loss.
  303. 20:14I did not see a way out.
  304. 20:16I could not see a way to stop it and God just intervened.
  305. 20:19We just prayed.
  306. 20:20We asked people to pray and he brought the right people in.
  307. 20:23And bottom line is those cottages next door are now owned by Patriot Academy.
  308. 20:30And we closed on just a, wow, it's only been, well, it's been a month already.
  309. 20:35So we closed on August 31st and the students will be moving in this weekend.
  310. 20:40So it's just, it's glorious now, man, when they're going to be used for the glory of God,
  311. 20:43they're going to be used to train up young people to be good biblical citizens.
  312. 20:47And we're super excited about this next chapter.
  313. 20:50Now, I want to dig into that a little bit because, and it's amazing, before you came
  314. 20:55on, I was just talking from Galatians 5 and the Apostle James talks about it being the royal
  315. 21:03law and Apostle Paul and Galatians says that loving your neighbor as yourself, this sums
  316. 21:09up the entirety of the law.
  317. 21:11I mentioned that one of the major features of Christianity is that it moves us to a selflessness
  318. 21:17where we look to live beyond just for personal consumption, personal grandisement, but we look
  319. 21:22down the line and even with that, our founders stated right in our preamble that the very
  320. 21:28constitution that we have was written among the purposes for its writing.
  321. 21:33It was written to secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and to our posterity.
  322. 21:38So considering what kind of country our grandchildren, our great grandchildren and the children
  323. 21:42will have, it really should be central to who we are as first and foremost Christians.
  324. 21:47but also uh... americans in the united states of america
  325. 21:50uh... in the colleges that you mentioned my wife and i stayed in one of the
  326. 21:53colleges when we were there yet are you referring to those top colleges or are
  327. 21:57there additional that
  328. 21:58no that's it and that's how close it was it looked like it was part of when you
  329. 22:03were here it looked like it was part of campus kind of acting like part of
  330. 22:05campus but it wasn't owned by that
  331. 22:07we just read it on when it whenever people would come into town
  332. 22:10and uh... and
  333. 22:11yeah so it would have been
  334. 22:13uh... turned out to be just a bad situation with the guy we were running from
  335. 22:16and went south and and he decided you know we we thought he was just going to
  336. 22:20keep it as an Airbnb
  337. 22:22and he ended up putting it up for auction and that's when this islamic group came
  338. 22:26in and tried to buy it and
  339. 22:28so it was there was no way we could compete with their money because it's
  340. 22:31katarimani i mean it's just one of the largest and most dangerous islamic groups
  341. 22:35in in america they're even a front for the muslim brotherhood
  342. 22:38uh... so these were these were not this was this is a bad group
  343. 22:41And so it was, yeah, it took a lot of amazing things happening
  344. 22:47for that, the enemy's plan to be thwarted
  345. 22:50and for us to end up there.
  346. 22:51But yeah, man, exactly what you're saying though,
  347. 22:55it's living not for ourselves.
  348. 22:57Or I used to tell, I still tell the students
  349. 23:00at Patriot Academy, you know, it's success for you
  350. 23:03or the titles or the amount of money in the bank
  351. 23:06or the job or whatever it is,
  352. 23:08you're gonna be miserable your whole life.
  353. 23:10you've got to define successes
  354. 23:12at the impact you have another people whether or not you're obedient to god
  355. 23:15whether your faithful to god
  356. 23:18not be
  357. 23:18outcome you always think it's going to be and and it's like my friend of cold
  358. 23:22type always says
  359. 23:23uh... victory is advancing truth so for me use by god to advance truth
  360. 23:28with that's what it's about works with we're here to be obedient to him
  361. 23:33so while so that this group you mentioned and i've discussed on my show
  362. 23:37uh... what's happening in mckinney texas how the city council their vote
  363. 23:40unanimously to allow the expansion
  364. 23:43of this really this this mosque in his economic center there
  365. 23:47happening in the plane on north dallas area with that the epic city
  366. 23:51uh... expansion that that they change they change the name but the same
  367. 23:54object of a still seeking to be advanced
  368. 23:57going from epic city to the metals but it's the same
  369. 24:00same thing that's happening it's happening in the houston texas area
  370. 24:03is using the same type of moves that are happening in those parts of texas
  371. 24:07were tempting
  372. 24:09to
  373. 24:10encroach
  374. 24:11near patriot academies campus
  375. 24:14yeah it's with wild man and it's
  376. 24:17it's i think that's i think what it was actually
  377. 24:20it was a good wake-up call for all of us because
  378. 24:23when it even if even when it was in my own state
  379. 24:26uh... you know it and even in in frankly where i grew up in the doubt for
  380. 24:29where their area my old high school is one of the ones that's been highlighted
  381. 24:33where they're going in and doing all these Islamic things, Frisco, Texas, which was in
  382. 24:37my district.
  383. 24:38I played them in baseball every twice a year when I was in high school.
  384. 24:43That's one of the major battlegrounds right now.
  385. 24:47McKinney, same thing.
  386. 24:48I played them in baseball growing up.
  387. 24:50All these things happening in the Dallas area.
  388. 24:52But even as that was happening, we tend to, I guess we kind of think, well, okay, but
  389. 24:59it's not happening right here to me.
  390. 25:00I wish it wasn't happening there.
  391. 25:03And I think that's been the problem in America is we don't see the whole nation as our responsibility
  392. 25:08to protect.
  393. 25:09This is this invasion that's happening is everywhere now.
  394. 25:14And it happened because we just thought, well, it's happening to other people.
  395. 25:18I don't have to deal with it yet.
  396. 25:20And you know, look, you and I are on the front lines.
  397. 25:22We talk about this stuff all the time and we're involved.
  398. 25:25But even me, I was even, you know, I guess not comforted.
  399. 25:29but not fully aware and not fully engaged because i guess i felt a little bit protected
  400. 25:36out where we are in the hill country of texas and you know an old eighty percent red area
  401. 25:41and i foolishly you know thought well you know at least out here we will probably okay
  402. 25:46i'm just telling you man did everybody in your audience there is no part of that there
  403. 25:51is no piece of land anywhere in america that they do not want to conquer they they are not
  404. 25:56interested in, you know, just enjoying our freedoms and coexisting. We know this by watching 1400
  405. 26:03years of history and seeing what they're doing even now in Australia and the UK and other areas.
  406. 26:07And so we just got to stop being naive and we got to realize what we're up against.
  407. 26:11Wow. And people don't know, and I know where you are in the hill country of Texas. It's kind of
  408. 26:21a little bit away from like the San Antonio area, you know, like when we came in
  409. 26:27through and did the San Antonio area. Yeah, that's right. Yeah. And so it could seem
  410. 26:31like that, you know, you're not in Frisco, which a lot of people may not realize.
  411. 26:35Frisco is a very, very, I would say relatively pretty wealthy area in North Dallas.
  412. 26:40It is now. Yeah, it was the country when I was growing up. But now, you know, Jerry
  413. 26:45Jones, I mean, he put so much money into that area because that's the practice.
  414. 26:48That's where they've got practice filled and all that for the Cowboys.
  415. 26:51It's a very wealthy area now.
  416. 26:55Yeah.
  417. 26:56And so, for those who may not be aware, and if you've been listening to this program for
  418. 27:00any length of time, you are aware, but those who may be new to the program, when you just
  419. 27:06said that there is a desire, you mentioned invasion and you mentioned there's not a place
  420. 27:12in our nation that they referring to
  421. 27:16uh... islamist that you do not want to conquer
  422. 27:19why and how can you say that so
  423. 27:21resolutely and confidently
  424. 27:25yeah i think it's i mean part of it's just
  425. 27:27the history you know you even look at that uh... mohammed himself and and what he
  426. 27:30did a medina and uh... and the track record of of going in and
  427. 27:34uh... befriending uh... even jewish tribes and and acting like he's gonna be your
  428. 27:39neighbor and friend and uh... and then completely conquering and and everybody
  429. 27:43being subdued to him. That's been, ever since then, the way that they operate. And this has
  430. 27:50been, and let me be clear, just like Josh Howerton does a great job of doing and others, you
  431. 27:53know, from the outset of this conversation, individual Muslims, we want them to come to
  432. 28:00know Christ and we understand that, you know, their fellow human beings, and I'm not speaking
  433. 28:05against an individual, I'm speaking against the political ideology masquerading as a religion,
  434. 28:11a political ideology of domination, a political ideology that subjugates women in a horrible,
  435. 28:18horrible way that allows for and even encourages child marriage.
  436. 28:23It's an evil ideology and there's nothing about it that is good for America.
  437. 28:29And we've bought into this idea in America that all religions are equal, that you allow
  438. 28:33anybody to do anything, that the First Amendment somehow protects any thought for anybody
  439. 28:38to go out and act in any way, in any behavior that they want.
  440. 28:42All of these things are not true, but it's what we've bought into in the last 50 or 60
  441. 28:47years.
  442. 28:48And there's such a naivety about it where we don't even recognize that, you know, in
  443. 28:55our state as a country boy, you know, easy to understand.
  444. 28:58Garbage in, garbage out, good stuff in, good stuff out.
  445. 29:00If you allow this type of mentality and culture to come into America and begin to take over
  446. 29:10in communities and influence communities, you're going to get the same thing that they have
  447. 29:15produced for 1400 years all over the world.
  448. 29:19And even when you look at UK, you look at the rates, you look at the lack of police response
  449. 29:26because they're afraid of offending all of those things that are happening right now
  450. 29:31in other places around the world are coming to the United States if we don't stop it.
  451. 29:35And we're already seeing it.
  452. 29:37Even now you have people standing up and celebrating, Islam is taking over and buying churches
  453. 29:45and turning them into mosques.
  454. 29:48And people actually thinking, oh, this is a good thing.
  455. 29:50This makes us more diverse.
  456. 29:52They just are so naive about what they're actually welcoming to their community and in
  457. 29:58our nation.
  458. 29:59And so, man, I hate to ramble, but it's just, I just feel like there's such a wake-up called
  459. 30:03Needed Right Now and for people to not be fooled by the, you know, first of all, the
  460. 30:11nicety of the new Christian, you know, mentality of the last 50 years that thinks we're just
  461. 30:18supposed to be nice to everybody and not stand on truth and not be firm on truth, combine
  462. 30:23that with the advancement of Islam and how they invade and how they take advantage and
  463. 30:30how they use to key it a lie to you and act like they're going to be one thing when they
  464. 30:34turn out to be something totally different.
  465. 30:38It's a formula for disaster, Abe, and we've been so unprepared for this and so just naive
  466. 30:46about it and and and some of the things that that lead to it i mean just look at
  467. 30:50the reporting
  468. 30:52on on the you know islamic
  469. 30:54islamic terrace that that tried to to to kill people with a hundred seventy
  470. 30:58people on that
  471. 30:59uh... on that flight yesterday at a time like you look at the reporting and
  472. 31:03that's what
  473. 31:04it's just it's ridiculous you look at all these headlines are all uh... struggle
  474. 31:08between two pilots or you know on an altercation in the in the cockpit
  475. 31:12instead of saying an islamic terrorist tried to kill one hundred seventy people
  476. 31:17uh... in in tel Aviv and and thankfully the other
  477. 31:20uh... pilot and and passenger spot back and prevent it from happening and he's
  478. 31:24like yeah but that's just a a a a big total example
  479. 31:29people in america that that were born after nine eleven or were little one
  480. 31:33nine eleven happened
  481. 31:34i mean they they have
  482. 31:36they are so
  483. 31:37uh... the sensitize
  484. 31:39to it uh... that they just you can't say anything bad about
  485. 31:42about Islam or about terrorists or the fact that,
  486. 31:47almost all terrorists, the only thing is,
  487. 31:4996% of terrorist acts are Islamist.
  488. 31:52And so, anyway, I'm starting to ramble,
  489. 31:53and I'm filling up through your program here.
  490. 31:55No, you're not rambling at all.
  491. 31:57And I think the distinction that you made
  492. 31:58is an important one.
  493. 31:59We're not talking about individual people,
  494. 32:00they're image bearers of God,
  495. 32:02but that doesn't change the fact that the ideology,
  496. 32:04frankly, and I'll say this, is demonic.
  497. 32:06And it produces the results of which we think
  498. 32:08a demonic ideology would produce.
  499. 32:09We're gonna continue this conversation
  500. 32:11we come back from this break.
  501. 32:12The music is disrespectful and I hear right now,
  502. 32:14but my guest is founder and president of Patriot Academy,
  503. 32:18Rick Green looking forward to continuing this conversation
  504. 32:21on the other side of the break.
  505. 32:22You do not want to miss it.
  506. 32:30We may never endure the type of prison experiences
  507. 32:33as the Saints of Old, but we all certainly
  508. 32:36experience types of prison experiences.
  509. 32:39The question is, how do we respond?
  510. 32:41Do we succumb to the flesh and become angry, bitter,
  511. 32:45doubt God or do we choose to praise God despite our circumstance?
  512. 32:51Read the rest of Praise in the Prison by Matthew White on thestand.net.
  513. 32:56That's Praise in the Prison on thestand.net.
  514. 33:04Hamilton Quarter Podcast and One-Bitted Common Terrence are available at AFR.net.
  515. 33:10Back to the Hamilton Quarter on American Family Radio.
  516. 33:15Welcome back to the Hamilton Corner.
  517. 33:16My guest is Rick Green, founder and president of the Patriot Academy, as well as founder
  518. 33:20of the torch of Freedom Foundation, just a lover of Christ, a man of God, a man of vision,
  519. 33:28a man of commitment, and a man of truth, willing to tell the truth, live the truth,
  520. 33:34and abide by the truth.
  521. 33:36I just so appreciate him.
  522. 33:38He mentioned in response to my question as to how could he confidently say and describe
  523. 33:43the accurately in my view, the threat that Islam poses.
  524. 33:46And he said studying Muhammad's life.
  525. 33:50You see that.
  526. 33:50You see the 1400 years of history.
  527. 33:53We see that.
  528. 33:54I would add to that if you actually just read the Quran
  529. 33:56for yourself and read how these you'll see whether terminology
  530. 33:59is coming from.
  531. 34:00But you don't even have to go the entire scope of 1400 years.
  532. 34:03You can go right back to our own nation's history
  533. 34:07because shortly after the ratification of our Constitution,
  534. 34:11which obviously follows our declaration of independence.
  535. 34:14The first war that our nation fought following a ratification of our Constitution was actually
  536. 34:19a war against Islamic terrorists, which is why the opening line to the Marines,
  537. 34:27him, which is the official song of the United States Marine Corps,
  538. 34:31is literally quote from the halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli.
  539. 34:35Rick, what do we as a nation need to understand and also allow plug this?
  540. 34:39why we need to be students of history as well
  541. 34:42uh... but what is it that we need to understand
  542. 34:45from that first war
  543. 34:46the nation fought for a little bit
  544. 34:48ratification of our constitution
  545. 34:51yeah and then the one of the quick thing they just did to add to the list of
  546. 34:54reasons we can be confident in what what we're assessing here is what
  547. 34:58they're saying themselves
  548. 35:00that you would you watch the videos of the human i mean
  549. 35:03uh... and they don't they don't cover it up at all i mean that they are very
  550. 35:06clear about the invasion they're very clear about what they want to do the
  551. 35:09constitution to america
  552. 35:11uh... to all of these things so you know even just their own words uh...
  553. 35:15and currently in that time but
  554. 35:17i'm so glad you brought that up because the you know the barber power wars that
  555. 35:20very few people talk about anymore in your talking
  556. 35:23three and a half decades nearly thirty four years from the time
  557. 35:26uh... it first started and and and the first you know look the first two
  558. 35:30presidents
  559. 35:31couldn't do much about it washington lamented the fact that he didn't have a
  560. 35:34navy to go
  561. 35:35uh... prevent this from happening that was it was happening because
  562. 35:38you know these the these uh... it literally is one of the terrorist they
  563. 35:41believe that they had a reward killing the infidel they believe that if it
  564. 35:45ships flying under the
  565. 35:47under the flag of a of a christian nation
  566. 35:49uh... that they had the right to to conquer it they were ransoming the
  567. 35:52sailors back america was spending
  568. 35:55i think under washington was roughly nine percent of the budget paying ransoms
  569. 35:58to get these guys back
  570. 35:59uh... and i read it it ratcheted up to something like sixteen eighteen percent
  571. 36:03of course it's going to be exactly
  572. 36:05yeah close to twenty percent of that and
  573. 36:07all right and then uh... and then you know jefferson basically said enough of
  574. 36:11the nothing of course i am starting to make it's why you go to
  575. 36:13uh... quincey massachusetts right now to go to that church you go down in the
  576. 36:16crib
  577. 36:17where john quincey and and avagala i mean uh... john and avagala buried in john
  578. 36:21quincey and his wife for buried
  579. 36:23uh... the navy changes out the flags
  580. 36:25uh... them themselves because you know at a swiss the guy that that really began
  581. 36:29the uh... the navy so anyway all that to say
  582. 36:32jefferson finally had the tools and he
  583. 36:34uh... you know he's the one that that uh... was willing to do this and he had
  584. 36:38an interesting conversation with
  585. 36:40uh... believe it is secretary state that that we've got the the letters back and
  586. 36:43forth but uh... he basically said
  587. 36:46you know that that he was and this is also why when people say oh jefferson
  588. 36:50loved his law and is the stuttier
  589. 36:52and studied the karan and and and and all these things he was studying his enemy
  590. 36:56that's the reason he had a great studying his enemy and of course he came to the
  591. 37:00conclusion to these conversations to the study of the current
  592. 37:03uh... that that you can't you can't negotiate
  593. 37:06this is someone that that that believes they're going to
  594. 37:09you know literally get a heavenly reward
  595. 37:11uh... for even dying in and uh...
  596. 37:14she had so all of all that to say they went through
  597. 37:18uh...
  598. 37:19of course a a kinetic war in a in a in a
  599. 37:21uh... situation where it it took
  600. 37:25bloodshed
  601. 37:26to end it and we got about a hundred fifty year piece of it out of that and and
  602. 37:30you know i think today is different
  603. 37:32it's not a
  604. 37:33it's not a kinetic she had other than what we we saw yesterday
  605. 37:37uh... out of his real and of course what they do with every day which is very
  606. 37:40much a kinetic she had but here it's cultural he had enough with the team on
  607. 37:43directly saying that they're saying that they were not foolish enough
  608. 37:46to track an edgy on an america because every bob and america's gonna be a come
  609. 37:50out and fight
  610. 37:51and there's no where they're going to win so they have to do cultural jihadi
  611. 37:54which is economic jihadi it's it's it's it's even every time you see the whole
  612. 37:58all food being advertised or are being passed by a school district to put into the school,
  613. 38:04that is an economic jihad as much as anything because they can't even you have to have a
  614. 38:08Muslim now provide every step of the way for that food.
  615. 38:12So you basically intervene into the marketplace to put their people into that position and
  616. 38:19you can watch it right now in areas and people that are listening will probably recognize
  617. 38:23this, whether it's the DFW airport or other places where all of a sudden somebody gets
  618. 38:29a, you know, a pointed or hired as a manager that's an Islamist and within a matter of just
  619. 38:36a few months you start seeing the hijab, you start seeing virtually every employee is a
  620. 38:42Muslim.
  621. 38:43I mean, it becomes, they do it through economic tree hod and then it's the intimidation factor
  622. 38:50and and you know building these mosh in these areas where they know
  623. 38:54and i mean that's why they wanted our place because it would have been uh...
  624. 38:57they they would have used it as a you know fundraising care at all of the world
  625. 39:01they would have been affected they would have taken
  626. 39:03patriot part of patriot academy and then right there in our unit next door to us
  627. 39:06would have been huge for them
  628. 39:08uh... so there's there's smart about that i mean it did public relations campaign
  629. 39:12as well so anyway all those things are our factors but i but i think what will be
  630. 39:16can learn to answer your question from the first war on radical Islam and terrorism
  631. 39:21is we have to study what we're up against and we have to understand what we're facing
  632. 39:27and not be fooled by the niceties and not be naive and not be, I believe actually,
  633. 39:37anti-biblical in our own with-be-ness and unwillingness to stand up and speak truth.
  634. 39:43been given this talent of freedom we've been given a system where we have a
  635. 39:47voice
  636. 39:47where we have the right to vote where we have to write to say things are right
  637. 39:50around where we have to write to say no
  638. 39:52to things
  639. 39:53and and to bury that talent and to not use that is to be the wicked and
  640. 39:57slothful serving in the parable of the talents
  641. 39:59and it's and it's a it's a mushy
  642. 40:02would be christianity we need a muck muscular
  643. 40:04christianity that actually does what jesus would do and stand up and speak
  644. 40:08against evil
  645. 40:09Well said and and and I've covered the Barbary Wars on my show which is why I came to mind as you were speaking
  646. 40:15But I think it's worth underscoring for the audience here
  647. 40:19that
  648. 40:20President Washington and President Adams did not have the resources to fight against Islamic terrorist attack that was happening on the high seas
  649. 40:28that the cultivation of our Navy was it directly in view of
  650. 40:32That attack and then it took as you mentioned
  651. 40:35and kinetic action after having paid,
  652. 40:38which I would argue is basically a jizzi attacks,
  653. 40:42basically a ransom that you have Muslim terrorists
  654. 40:45with kidnapping American citizens intentionally.
  655. 40:47And early on, as you mentioned, under Washington,
  656. 40:50it was about almost a tithe,
  657. 40:52eight, nine, 10% of America's national budget
  658. 40:55that was being set aside to pay for ransom Americans.
  659. 40:58Think about this guys.
  660. 41:00And then what happens when you pay a terrorist for terrorism,
  661. 41:05what happens, they realize, oh, that's a way
  662. 41:07that we can build our economic coffers.
  663. 41:09So would that be an incentive to stop kidnapping
  664. 41:12and terrorizing America citizens?
  665. 41:14Or would that be an incentive to ramp it up?
  666. 41:17Is it what happened?
  667. 41:18They ramped it up.
  668. 41:19Then under Adams, the payments increased.
  669. 41:22And it got to the place, as you rightly pointed out,
  670. 41:24Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson, when he's president,
  671. 41:27he's studying Islam because he's trying to understand
  672. 41:29why are these people attacking us?
  673. 41:31We have no quarrel with them.
  674. 41:32We have no beef with them.
  675. 41:34Why are they attacking us?
  676. 41:35And then he finally concludes,
  677. 41:37and this is something people need to understand,
  678. 41:39Jefferson was not a gunslinger type of president.
  679. 41:42He wasn't like eager to fight.
  680. 41:44You know, we were just recovering
  681. 41:46from tangling with Great Britain.
  682. 41:48People often forget about the War of 1812,
  683. 41:51still tangling with Great Britain, you know?
  684. 41:53And so he concluded that there's no other option
  685. 41:57for us as a nation other than to confront this enemy
  686. 42:01in a kinetic engagement.
  687. 42:02And that is what led to the ending of the willingness to pay the terrorists into basically protect
  688. 42:11American people in the net led to the former terrorists finally backing away, not former
  689. 42:17the terrorists saying, oh, so they're ready to fight now.
  690. 42:20We'll basically bought us 150 years as you rightly pointed out.
  691. 42:24But going forward, you mentioned about the necessity for having, you know, not a wimpy
  692. 42:29Christianity, you know, the reality is guys, Christianity is not wimpy.
  693. 42:33So I would argue if we are those who would bury the talents,
  694. 42:38I would question and challenge whether or not
  695. 42:41that is a Christian ethos that is undermining that,
  696. 42:44or could it be something else that has kind of a near,
  697. 42:49but it could be cowardice being presented as something else.
  698. 42:53And I'm not advocating for like a belligerence
  699. 42:56and a chest-pounding kind of phenomenon,
  700. 42:59but we must be prudent and understand the times
  701. 43:02that we're in and as the scriptures in 1st Corinthians 12
  702. 43:05concerning the sons of Isakar,
  703. 43:07they understood the times that we're in
  704. 43:08and they knew what Israel needed to do.
  705. 43:10We need to be the type of people who understand the times
  706. 43:12that we are in and seek the Lord for guidance, wisdom
  707. 43:15and courage to do what we need to do.
  708. 43:18You rightly described, you know,
  709. 43:20bearing the talents of that wicked and sloth will serve it.
  710. 43:23What needs to happen for us to kind of get out of this stupor
  711. 43:27to where there's this disposition to,
  712. 43:31well i don't want to be offensive i don't want
  713. 43:34to be unloving
  714. 43:36because as i understand the scripture
  715. 43:39love
  716. 43:40must be accompanied by truth about that
  717. 43:43amen brother and we speak truth because of love right in the world they in love my
  718. 43:48pastor always reminds us is you speak truth because of love
  719. 43:51but you guys you know it drives you to be willing will understand
  720. 43:55and i want to recommend two things and people can just you know google it or
  721. 43:59growing grok or whatever the bill feterer has a wonderful one-hour description of
  722. 44:04the history of Islam that really explains this so well and then we just
  723. 44:07added a ten-week course to the uh... patreon academy constitution courses
  724. 44:12uh... called the cross and the crescent and it's done by uh... vintage church
  725. 44:15into a
  726. 44:16phenomenal job
  727. 44:17and it's everything bill's been saying and frank gaffney myself david part and
  728. 44:21others
  729. 44:22so it did it what we must do is get educated on this
  730. 44:25and then we have to here's the hard part of an i know you're just about a
  731. 44:28of time that the hard part is going to be on the political action side of this, getting
  732. 44:33people to understand what the First Amendment protects and doesn't protect.
  733. 44:36And Supreme Court has said if it's a First and Public Order, it's not protected.
  734. 44:39We need to start making the argument for a wide child marriage, subjugation of women,
  735. 44:43all that subverts the public order.
  736. 44:44Yes.
  737. 44:45But then we've got to start finding the legislative solutions for being able to stop the invasion
  738. 44:51through immigration, the mosque, all of that.
  739. 44:53And it's going to be difficult because most people do not, right now, agree with what we're
  740. 44:58saying.
  741. 44:59Right now they think, oh no, no, that's just another one of the major world religions.
  742. 45:02You've got to let them do whatever they want to do.
  743. 45:04And as Bill Federer says, well if MS13 stands up tomorrow and says they're a religion, we
  744. 45:08wouldn't let them do whatever they want to do.
  745. 45:10So we've got to get a lot smarter about this.
  746. 45:12So we're finding solutions.
  747. 45:14We've got to work hard at it.
  748. 45:15But honestly, man, we're in for some difficult days and it's going to take, we're going to
  749. 45:21pray for god to give us good strategy
  750. 45:24good tactics good political
  751. 45:26uh... maneuvering to do this in a way that that is you know uh... obviously
  752. 45:32people we want this to be done people yes absolutely right in which which you
  753. 45:35said it's so true we have
  754. 45:37the tools available to us like you mentioned uh... if it's if it's a notion
  755. 45:41an ideology that subverts the public order that's why we've outlawed other
  756. 45:45practices in our country
  757. 45:46uh... you can't like uh... child sacrifice is not all allowed even if you
  758. 45:50you say your religion requires it, that's not allowed.
  759. 45:53You know, that would be clearly a subversion
  760. 45:54of the public order.
  761. 45:55You know, Article four of our constitution guarantees
  762. 45:57to every American citizen, a Republican form of government.
  763. 46:01There's no lawful access to Sharia in our country,
  764. 46:05yet you have like the Fic Council FIQH of North America,
  765. 46:10the Sharia Council of North America, that exists.
  766. 46:12And in many ways, what we have to have is courage.
  767. 46:17Is the will to do what needs to be done.
  768. 46:20to be done because the tools exist. It's going to require education like you mentioned. We have to
  769. 46:24have a recalibration and reorientation with the law actually is in our country. But then when it
  770. 46:28gets down to brass taxes, we then have to have the political will to say what must be said and to do
  771. 46:34what must be done. But we can if we will. Amen. Amen brother. You got it right. You got it right.
  772. 46:43And we've got to encourage us the key. Yeah. And that you mentioned nobody I'm not pining for
  773. 46:48for anything to be done non-peacefully.
  774. 46:53This can be done peacefully.
  775. 46:55We want this to be done peacefully
  776. 46:56and must be done peacefully,
  777. 46:58but we need to have these conversations.
  778. 47:01And for far too long, too many people
  779. 47:02have been putting their heads in the sand about this,
  780. 47:05but we need to literally have these conversations.
  781. 47:08And it may be jolting for people to hear,
  782. 47:12but the reality is, as you pointed out, Rick,
  783. 47:14it is a political supremacist ideology masquerading as a religion.
  784. 47:21That's right. That's right, brother. Man, we got a lot of work ahead of us, you know,
  785. 47:27and like I said at the beginning though, I'm glad we don't live in Pailatimatine. And just
  786. 47:31like Reagan said 40 years ago, our fight's different from his, right? His was communism,
  787. 47:35we're fighting communism and Islam. And so it's a double whammy. But I think we're up
  788. 47:41to the task if we're willing, if we have the courage, and we're going to have to train
  789. 47:45others to be up to the task.
  790. 47:46All right, I have to have you back on to talk about Marxism and communism because it's happening
  791. 47:51at the same time and similar to what you said, it's really literally a rinse and repeat
  792. 47:55of what we just witnessed not too long ago in Iran.
  793. 47:58The Islamic revolution of Iran was a result of a combination of the conflated efforts of
  794. 48:03Islamists and Marxists working together.
  795. 48:06Then after they overthrew the existing Shah in Iran, what ended up happening, the Islamists
  796. 48:12killed all the Marxists.
  797. 48:14And so we'll have to talk about that next time you hear on the Hamilton corner, but thank you so much for joining us here today
  798. 48:20In about 10 seconds let people know how they can follow you and all the work that you're doing the picture to cat
  799. 48:24You got it brother. Thank you for having me on patriotacademy.com. That's the place to go Patriot Academy
  800. 48:30Dot-com all right God bless you my man
