13. 0:35My name is Abraham Hamilton, the third delighted to be on with you this evening.
14. 0:41Ready to rock and roll with today's edition of the program.
15. 0:43At this very moment, many of you, if not most of you, are making your transition from your part-time jobs where you generate an income to your full-time jobs where you cultivate an outcome.
16. 0:53And as you do so, I want to remind you to do so with intentionality.
17. 0:59understanding the primacy that God places on family and welcoming the Lord's revelation to us through his holy word to govern
18. 1:06garden to guide our engagement that we will never out politic we will never out
19. 1:16punditry we will never out commentate the deficiencies that abound in the home and if we would welcome the Lord to grab a
20. 1:24hold a bus inside of our families and move forward from there. There's no question as to what is
21. 1:31available to us societally. I'm joined by the team once again the corner contingent right across
22. 1:37from me, my man 100 grand Mr. Bobby, Rosa man, I needed a jumper cable on that, that one today
23. 1:45because it got a little false start. Bobby Rosa and producing extraordinary often imitated,
24. 1:52They never duplicated the Rio J. Mac, ladies and gentlemen.
25. 1:57And we are ready to rock and roll with today's edition of the program.
26. 1:59I say what I say daily about the family simply because it is true.
27. 2:04It is also true, yes, that my wife and I are in a life stage still where we have young children
28. 2:10still in our home.
29. 2:11But that does not drive what I say daily.
30. 2:16I say it because it is true.
31. 2:18It is true.
32. 2:19It is true.
33. 2:20That the first institution that got established was the family with marriage at the center for
34. 2:23reason that the other components of, or should I say the other institutions that got established
35. 2:30were maximized human flourishing, they follow the establishment of the family.
36. 2:36And so when you walk through that reality, when you get to the church and you get to
37. 2:44civil government, you can see how the familial institution being served well will set the
38. 2:51course for those others to be able to function at the best clip possible.
39. 2:56But if we fumble at the familial level, then it causes outside strain upon these other institutions
40. 3:05to say it differently.
41. 3:06A lot of, you know, you have people talking about, as a cause of race in America and the
42. 3:11new Jim Crow and all these kind of things, well, what they will not admit, however, is
43. 3:15that the jails became more necessary as the families continue to be deteriorated.
44. 3:23this whole notion that criminality follows poverty is not true historically, not even
45. 3:28in our own country.
46. 3:30I can tell you, I know what it's like growing up on the block, but people in the hood were
47. 3:37very, very careful about caring for their spaces and caring for things, but over time, as families
48. 3:42disintegrated, as fathers were systematically excluded from the family, as we had a policy
49. 3:47that incentivized fatherless homes, then you see the expanded necessity of the role of civil
50. 3:54government. And that's the component that we have lots of people to talk about, well,
51. 3:58we need to have a more limited government. We're one of the best ways to where limited
52. 4:03government can flourish is when you have a society where families are thriving. But we
53. 4:09don't like to talk about that because the simple fact is to discuss the family requires
54. 4:14we have to talk about personal accountability, where it's far easier and certainly more effective
55. 4:20for a demagogue to blame, you know, who, me, the man under the tree, everybody else,
56. 4:25finger the point of everywhere else. And then they present themselves as the solver of all
57. 4:30your problems. That's how this works. That's how this is how it works. But if we, and I'm
58. 4:38saying we referring to the Lord's body, if we would recognize that and take God at His
59. 4:47Word, starting right on our own families, you know, help train fathers to lead their families
60. 4:54and devotions at home, help discover and discuss the fact that God is designed for we as fathers
61. 4:59to play a substantively significant role, particularly in the disciplining of our children.
62. 5:04And when I say discipline, I'm not limiting it to the physical application of discipline.
63. 5:10You know, training our children to wake up on time is an application of a discipline.
64. 5:15Stewarding our bodies as well as an application of discipline.
65. 5:20Certainly there's a behavioral corrective component of that, but that's not the exclusive component
66. 5:25of it, helping moms, the scripture talks about titties too, older men's relationship with
67. 5:33younger men, older women's connection with younger women, specifically older women teaching
68. 5:37younger women how to be thriving wives and moms.
69. 5:41Well, I know it.
70. 5:43I know the feminazi right now saying I just, I just, I just use a foul word.
71. 5:51What?

73. 5:56Well, we've got to stop man taking our marching orders from what's happening around us and
74. 5:59get back to God's word and take our orders from him as he's revealed himself in scripture.
75. 6:04To that end, to the word of God we go 2 Peter chapter 1.
76. 6:08This is, in the scripture is even going to affirm, this is a reminder that even in difficult
77. 6:13times God has given us specific guidance as to how we are to comport ourselves and to acquit
78. 6:17ourselves.
79. 6:19Peter's second epistle is written during a time when in the Roman Empire persecution is ascending
80. 6:26against the Lord's people, and he spent the previous verses explaining that God has instructions
81. 6:33for us.
82. 6:34And if these qualities are ours and they are abounding, they will fortify us from being barren
83. 6:40and unproductive in our knowledge of Him, which truthfully speaking is a very sobering notion
84. 6:47to consider that as saved as we are, the potential exists if we are not wise, if we're not wise,
85. 6:57in our operation and humbly adhering to the full counsel of God's word, then we can be
86. 7:07rendered barren and unproductive in our faith.
87. 7:11In our knowledge of the true and living God, we can be barren and unproductive.
88. 7:15Some places we have not even been taught or encouraged to seek fruitfulness and productivity
89. 7:22in the faith, which is absurd.
90. 7:26that fruitfulness and productivity is not the objective in and of itself, but it's the inevitable
91. 7:32flow that results or the consequence that flows from us seeking to honor our Lord with all that
92. 7:38we are.
93. 7:42And then we come to this portion of the text and the apostle Peter is speaking or writing,
94. 7:47I should say, and he says, therefore, I intend always to remind you of these qualities, though
95. 7:57So you know them and are established in the truth that you have, I think it right as long
96. 8:04as I am in this body to stir you up by way of reminder, since I know that the putting
97. 8:11off of my body will be soon, as our Lord Jesus Christ made clear to me, and I will make every
98. 8:18effort so that after my departure you may be able at any time to recall these things.
99. 8:27So in verse 12 and Paul, I'm sorry, Peter, when Peter says, therefore I intend always
100. 8:30to remind you of these qualities, he's talking about the qualities that would fortify the
101. 8:35believers against being barren and unproductive in our knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.
102. 8:44And he goes on to explain, I know you know them, but I'm reminding you of them.
103. 8:49I think it appropriate to emphasize that Peter is saying this in the face of hostile
104. 8:54physical persecution against the Lord's bride.
105. 8:58So often when I travel or getting messages after programs, people ask me, what should
106. 9:03we do?
107. 9:04How should we respond?
108. 9:05And I tell them we should respond by obeying what God has commanded of us.
109. 9:12Certainly there are certain things that are on the rise of AI.
110. 9:14That's a whole new program.
111. 9:15We never had to deal with the circumstance of AI.
112. 9:18When the internet came on the scene, there had been no internet before there was internet.
113. 9:22You know what I'm saying?
114. 9:23So there are different innovations that occur, technological innovations that affect society
115. 9:28in various ways, but they don't change God's principles.
116. 9:31You know, you shun the very appearance of evil, pre-internet, and you shun the very appearance
117. 9:36of evil when the internet comes around.
118. 9:42And there is something that is endemic to human nature to where it's always, we want something,
119. 9:48I will say it this way, endemic to fallen human nature.
120. 9:51Well, we got to have something to do.
121. 9:52We got to have something to do.
122. 9:53We don't realize we've been programmed to embrace that.
123. 9:57But here you have the apostle Peter saying, hey, by the way, I want to remind you, I know
124. 10:00you know this, but I want to remind you, the truth is we should be cautious and suspicious
125. 10:10when someone says, I got this new thing for you. That's the cause of it. I'd be like,
126. 10:18I'll up now. I don't know about this. I don't know about this. No, no, what the fate that
127. 10:29we have as the apostle Jude just articulated it is the fate that has been once and for all
128. 10:34pass down to the saints. And this, this reminder that the apostle Peter is offering, you know,
129. 10:43Paul did the same thing in Philippians chapter 3. I know you know this, but I want to remind
130. 10:48you of this. It's something that should be a source of encouraging encouragement to us
131. 10:53as parents because I know, just like I do, you probably get okay, I know it. I've heard
132. 10:57that before and actually, no, I've never had any of my children say that. I've heard other
133. 11:02children say that. But when Paul was writing in Philippians 3, he said, for me to repeat
134. 11:08these things, it's a safeguard for you. Continue to articulate these eternal, biblically grounded,
135. 11:18transcendent truths to our children. And for the children that are listening, repetition
136. 11:25of truth is a benefit for you. Now, of course, we need to be wise and responsible and understand
137. 11:34what's going on that we're not just trying to, you know, my dad, you say, beating a dead
138. 11:38horse, so to speak.
139. 11:40But to be repetitious concerning the expression of truth is a safeguard.
140. 11:48Then Peter goes on and he says, as long as I'm in this body, as long as I'm in this body,
141. 11:55I'm going to stir you up by way of reminder.
142. 12:02Reminders can be a source of stirring, stirring provocation, stirring calling.
143. 12:12Then he mentions in verse 14,
144. 12:15Since I know that the putting off of my body will be soon your apostle Peter is imminently aware
145. 12:21That his time for transitioning from this from this side of eternity to the eternal state was imminent in his life
146. 12:27He was aware of it that it was coming and in full view of the expectation of his physical exploration
147. 12:36Does Peter spend his time trying to find some new fangled theories trying to you know, yeah, well, I've been hitting with this new stuff
148. 12:42No, Peter said, let me remind you.
149. 12:44I know you know this, but let me remind you.
150. 12:46Because what we're looking for is for a qualitative discipleship.
151. 12:53But what we're looking for is for people whose lives bear evidence that they are his.
152. 13:01And he goes on to saying, I will make every effort so that after my departure,
153. 13:06you may be able at any time to recall these things.
154. 13:09This gives us biblical grounding for the reality that we should prepare for our expiration.
155. 13:16We should prepare our loved ones.
156. 13:18We should prepare those around us and not just prepare them with natural things and considerations. Yes, I believe in
157. 13:25estate planning and things of that nature. Yes. Yes, confect that trust build the trust. Yes, make sure you're asked that are probably allocated
158. 13:32but don't leave the most important things unaddressed
159. 13:36Don't leave the most important things undone. The most important things are
160. 13:41so that after my departure that those who remain are
161. 13:46are reliably standing in and walking in truth.
162. 13:54That's the most important.
163. 13:56That's the most important.
164. 13:59In many ways, we in our nation have taken the eye
165. 14:01off the ball, so to speak,
166. 14:03because other things have become so much more important.
167. 14:05And we've allowed things like, oh, I don't know,
168. 14:08sound theology, sound doctrine to be eh, you know.
169. 14:11Well, let our children figure that out on their own.
170. 14:14But we're gonna make sure they're able
171. 14:16to get into this university.
172. 14:17We're gonna make sure of these other things.
173. 14:21The most vital component of leaving an inheritance
174. 14:24for your children's children
175. 14:25is the intangible substantive truth of Christ.
176. 14:34And these are things that the Lord inspired
177. 14:37through conveyed through the inspiration of the Spirit of God,
178. 14:40through the Apostle Peter,
179. 14:42to the body of Christ facing persecution.
180. 14:47We should take heed in our day,
181. 14:51because those things may be new to us,
182. 14:53they're not new in God's economy.

184. 15:05What should a pro-life church look like?
185. 15:08What are some of the priorities,
186. 15:09attributes and perspectives of a local church,
187. 15:11which seeks to be the hands and feet of Jesus
188. 15:14in our nation today as it addresses life issues?
189. 15:17A pro-life church needs to be a praying church.
190. 15:20Through prayer, they help to usher
191. 15:23in the presence of God into their church,
192. 15:26and they share the heart and the mind of God with the culture.

196. 15:36The question the Apostle Paul asked immediately
197. 15:39after he met Christ in Acts chapter nine verse six.
198. 15:42Lord, what do you want me to do?
199. 15:46And a very important companion question is this,
200. 15:49am I really seeking to honor the Lord
201. 15:51in doing what he would have me to do?
202. 15:54as an individual disciple of Christ
203. 15:56to help stand for life.

209. 16:18And I think most of you know this,
210. 16:20but just in case you don't,
211. 16:21there's sometimes when I bring things forward
212. 16:25that are breaking, so to speak,
213. 16:28but most of the time I don't do it that way.
214. 16:31mainly because we do a lot of our own research and I'd rather have the information conveyed
215. 16:41accurately than to be the first one to do so and to do so in the wrong manner or something
216. 16:46like that.
217. 16:47So I saw this video and what I'm about to share with you now and this is something that
218. 16:52just happened to look up and I saw some people in the live feed comments were asking about
219. 16:56the Save America Act. Boy, if you want more of, more of fuel to add to the fire to get this
220. 17:06thing passed, James O'Keefe, previously a project Veritas, I think he now has a new venture or
221. 17:13not new, but a different venture that he's working with to continue investigative journalism
222. 17:18type things and I got wind of this video of an investigation that he did in Minnesota.
223. 17:30And the description of the video said that upon investigating James O'Keefe discovers
224. 17:39that one registered voter can vouch for up to eight other people regardless of, no, in
225. 17:46particular who are not registered. That the voucher, meaning the person who is the voucher,
226. 17:52simply has to say, well, I am a registered voter and I tell you that this fine gentleman
227. 17:58or this fine gentle lady, they are voters in the same precinct in which I reside. So when
228. 18:05they tell you their address is XYZ, L M O P street, I vouch for the credibility of that representation.
229. 18:15like what in one place and I'm going to see this on the video. James O'Keefe is he's dressed
230. 18:25himself in in Islamic attire. He was ending himself as if he is a Muslim in Minnesota. And
231. 18:33he says, but what if my friends don't have an ID? They don't have an ID? And the voting
232. 18:41worker said, you are their ID. You are the ID. What? And when I saw that, I was like, come on, man.
233. 18:53Because, you know, sometimes people do stuff. They're trying to get clicks. You know what I'm saying?
234. 18:57You know, the Save America Act is being debated. Is it really? So I wasn't trying to verify that
235. 19:05the video was a real video. It was evident to me that the video was a real video. I wanted to look
236. 19:11up the election law and spend some time in the election law.
237. 19:15And sure enough, sure enough that that is in fact the law.
238. 19:21And the law has been on the books for quite some time.
239. 19:25So this is another instance as to where laws are being exploited for the various purposes.
240. 19:39Because the law being on the books for over 50 years, there was a different time period
241. 19:43that existed previously
242. 19:46and where people uh... new their neighbors a little bit you know i mean i'm
243. 19:49still i think it was a good law
244. 19:51but i'm saying it was a different time period and
245. 19:54it's amazing to me that many people who would say they oppose the save america
246. 19:58act
247. 19:59there we don't have unregistered voters voting as a well under this
248. 20:03minnesota law
249. 20:04technically you would be right if you have on regis of voters voting because
250. 20:08they have been vouch for
251. 20:10uh...
252. 20:13by a resident voter
253. 20:15So, so, man, this is so bad.
254. 20:22This is so bad.
255. 20:23And it's so, it's so bad that this exists.
256. 20:26And you have people, they're all kind of,
257. 20:28I found all kind of stories, President Trump,
258. 20:29came out against this voucher voting system,
259. 20:32Elon Musk came out about it.
260. 20:34There have been articles written about this for years,
261. 20:36but nobody has done anything about it.
262. 20:41And you wonder, well, how did it get to the place
263. 20:45where in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota,
264. 20:47where you have to make an appeal,
265. 20:50You know, do you have Jacob Frye trying to eat some Malian fair to get elected?
266. 20:56You know, how does this happen?
267. 20:58Well, it's not only the population, but I guess they know what the local voting
268. 21:03landscape is like.
269. 21:05I want to warn you, most of you, when you see this, this is going to make you quite
270. 21:08upset.
271. 21:09So I want to warn you upfront that this is bad.
272. 21:14This is really, really, really, really bad.
273. 21:17Nevertheless, listen to and watch clip number six, James O'Keeces, and I left this part out,
274. 21:26his investigative video specifically during the primaries in Minnesota last week.
275. 21:33So this is not, this is not, I said last week, let me check my dates again to make sure
276. 21:37I got my dates, right?
277. 21:39Yes, this is from last week where he put this to the test during last week's primary elections,
278. 21:49this is what we have.

289. 22:17In Minnesota, you can show up on Election Day and vouch for up to eight unregistered voters.
290. 22:23Members of the Justice League dress up in traditional Muslim attire, including a transgender
291. 22:28wearing a burqa, and put this vouching law to an extreme test on primary day August 11.

318. 23:19Most poll workers we visited were willing to let us vouch with no questions asked, even
319. 23:24when presented with the most absurd situation imaginable.
320. 23:28While other poll workers did take issue with our investigation, revealing their awareness
321. 23:32that something about this vouching system is deeply flawed or wrong yet.
322. 23:39Guys, that is insane.
323. 23:43And for those who don't know, the music is what James O'Keefe put on the video.
324. 23:47That's, I mean, I don't have any useful wanting to be a baller.
325. 23:53But goodness.
326. 23:56So they would go from voting station, from voting location to voting location to voting
327. 24:06location and each time one register voter can represent nine people in total, eight of
328. 24:15the other people that are not registered.
329. 24:17Do y'all understand what I'm saying to you?
330. 24:19The eight other people do not have to be registered.
331. 24:22The eight other people do not have to show identification.
332. 24:27The eight other people can be whoever.
333. 24:38I went through a position paper from the Mississippi, the Minnesota Attorney General's
334. 24:43office to where they're trying to defend this vouching system.
335. 24:49And the simple reality is that the statute was written for the time of Ward Cleaver when
336. 24:58everybody knew each other and oh here's this, the propensity to lie about who's voting was
337. 25:03a lot less than what it is now.
338. 25:08You tell me whether or not this vouching system is made to secure free and fair elections or
339. 25:17Is it a system that is, you know, like, you know, in volleyball, you have certain positions
340. 25:24in volleyball.
341. 25:25It's called the setter.
342. 25:29And what does the setter do?
343. 25:30The setter sets the ball so that the striker can come and tell me whether or not you think
344. 25:37that system is set for fraud.
345. 25:43And you have bobbleheads in DC, you want to tell me, oh, but Abraham, there's no fraud
346. 25:50in our election.
347. 25:51At least not widespread fraud.
348. 25:54And then you do an audit on elections done under this vouching system and you find, oh,
349. 25:59well, we have votes from people who aren't registered, but they were vouched for.
350. 26:05So in their system, that would not be viewed.

353. 26:10That would not be viewed as a voting irregularity, you see.
354. 26:16So the people who would say that,
355. 26:19oh, there's after, there Abraham goes again
356. 26:22with that fear mongering, like really?

358. 26:30So you have a system to where,
359. 26:31and I know James O'Keefe is not the most famous person
360. 26:37in the world unless you follow politics pretty closely.
361. 26:40You might not know who he was.
362. 26:42So I don't blame the people for not recognizing James O'Keefe.
363. 26:46but he comes in there
364. 26:49and they're telling him, oh, he's an ID.
365. 26:51He's asking how many more people
366. 26:53can I bring with me?
367. 26:5315, I said, oh he can bring eight more.
368. 26:56He's like, all right, we'll be,
369. 26:57and then I said, we'll be back.

383. 27:41the Save America Act?

385. 27:51The people that are not considering a state version
386. 27:54of the Save America Act,
387. 27:56all the state of people,
388. 27:57the states, legislatures that are not considering
389. 28:00their version of a Save America Act,
390. 28:02are the states where it's most needed.
391. 28:06Oh my goodness, oh my goodness, oh my goodness.
392. 28:10So you can see now why when I saw that video,
393. 28:12I thought to myself, surely, surely, this.
394. 28:15This can't be right guys, it is the current law
395. 28:21applicable to precincts in the state of Minnesota.
396. 28:27Fouching. And going through, this is going to be rich for you guys, going through the Mississippi,
397. 28:35I said the Attorney General, I mean the Mississippi, Mississippi, Minnesota, Secretary of State's
398. 28:39Office's articulation of their support for this vouching system, they went on and they said,
399. 28:44oh yeah, because you know other states have vouching systems and they highlighted states
400. 28:48like South Dakota. And guess what the system is in South Dakota? In South Dakota, the vouching
401. 28:54doesn't come from another registered voter, the vouching comes from an affidavit from the
402. 28:59individual voting.
403. 29:00Guys, you know what that's called?
404. 29:02Provisional ballots.
405. 29:03So it states like South Dakota, if you have a person who is eligible to vote, before whatever
406. 29:08reason the registration may not have transferred, they move to something like that, at most they
407. 29:12would allow them to collect provisional, past, provisional ballots, after which, after which
408. 29:18they would have to reconcile the affidavit to a legitimate voting registration.
409. 29:24You don't have some other on the person vouching for you where you never show your credentials
410. 29:30and your identity to confirm your identity to vote.
411. 29:35Guys this is crazy.

414. 29:41And this is an example of what I'm talking about.

417. 29:49But when you have your Stephanopoulos saying, well, you know, the voting fraud is not widespread.
418. 29:59I said, but I thought it was a logical reply.
419. 30:03Shouldn't we try to find out how widespread it is?
420. 30:06We're gonna just chill and say it's not widespread,
421. 30:09would I be able to quantify that?
422. 30:12Could I think people know?
423. 30:14They don't want you looking under the hood and finding out that,
424. 30:16hey, by the way, in an area that has just been transformed
425. 30:20to look somewhat similar to Somalia in a state
426. 30:24where they even changed their state flag to kind of resemble
427. 30:28symbol Somalia, also a place where you had massive fraud on different fronts.
428. 30:37It also happens to be the place where this vouching system allows for one registered voter
429. 30:42to vouch for eight other unregistered voters.
430. 30:48And here's the thing, there's no like subsequent follow up or anything.
431. 30:52It's just you go get them and the red, the one registered voter is the ID, as you heard.
432. 30:58You are the ID."
433. 31:00And then they get to go, guys, that's wild.
434. 31:06That is wild.
435. 31:09When you consider that, then the next story I'm going to get to, and it was, I don't know
436. 31:16if I'm going to get through the story because it's so sad.
437. 31:21And it's sad on a host of fronts.
438. 31:25You see the combination of things that are converging, the cause of problems, not cause,
439. 31:34that are converging to exacerbate many of the problems
440. 31:37that are happening in our country.
441. 31:38But I want to present something to you.
442. 31:40When you see things like this, and I was talking
443. 31:43with a friend at church just Sunday,
444. 31:46and I was explaining to him, you do realize
445. 31:48in the overwhelming majority, I'm talking about upwards
446. 31:50of 95% of American law schools, the US Constitution
447. 31:55is not a part of the assigned reading
448. 31:57for constitutional law classes.
449. 32:00In my law school, the Constitution was a pocket part.
450. 32:03It was like an appendix attached to the Constitutional law
451. 32:08textbook.
452. 32:08The textbook was about three and a half,
453. 32:10four inches thick, and it's chock full of Supreme Court
454. 32:14opinions.
455. 32:15Well, the actual Constitution was not assigned reading.
456. 32:18Do you understand that?
457. 32:25So our assigned reading was just to hear and read and learn
458. 32:28what other justices have said about the Constitution.
459. 32:31But the US Constitution itself was something
460. 32:33we had to read on our own time.
461. 32:36Then you wonder, how do we get so many judges that
462. 32:40provide unconstitutional readings.
463. 32:44It's like, Judge Posner in the Seventh Circuit said,
464. 32:48I want to need to read the history,
465. 32:49the precedent, and the Constitution.
466. 32:50The Constitution is what we judge us, say it is.

508. 35:15Welcome back to the Hamilton Corner, Abraham Hamilton the third here, guys, I'm not joking.
509. 35:21So Judge Posner, who served in the seven circuit court of appeals, infamously, in my view, made
510. 35:28the argument that he doesn't care about the constitutional text.
511. 35:31It doesn't matter what it says, you know.
512. 35:33It doesn't matter what people in the late 18th century thought, it's what he would argue.
513. 35:38He said, in fact, he said judges should ignore the historical context for the U.S. Constitution
514. 35:44if modern conditions require it.
515. 35:50That was his argument.
516. 35:52And it is Chief Justice, former Chief Justice Charles Evans
517. 35:56Hughes, who said, quote, we are under a constitution,
518. 36:00but the Constitution is what the judges say it is.
519. 36:03In quote.
520. 36:05And so many people wonder, well, how do you get there?
521. 36:08Well, if you are trained in law school,
522. 36:10that the Constitution is irrelevant to your coursework.
523. 36:13But the guys, these are symptoms.
524. 36:25Here's another symptom for you.
525. 36:29And people brought up things about this teacher's past and this character, which that's all fair
526. 36:34game.
527. 36:35You put stuff out in public, you subject yourself to the scrutiny that will flow from it.
528. 36:43But there's a logical fallacy, it's called an ad hominem attack.
529. 36:48that hominem is Latin for the expression to the man.
530. 36:52So the way that I had hominem attacks usually work
531. 36:55is that when a person makes an assertion
532. 36:59and the opponent cannot contend against the assertion,
533. 37:02the opponent attempts to invalidate the assertion
534. 37:04by attacking the person.
535. 37:06But if you notice what remains unaddressed
536. 37:08is the assertion that is made.
537. 37:10So I'm not gonna try to defend this man's past
538. 37:14or anything about his history,
539. 37:16but I do wanna say and want to ask
540. 37:18what's he telling the truth and what he said and what I'm talking about is
541. 37:22unfortunately a video that went viral
542. 37:25because you have a teacher in the Houston
543. 37:30Independent School District teacher who teaches seniors at
544. 37:34Phyllis Wheatley High School in Houston Texas
545. 37:37think about this Phyllis Wheatley. Do you remember who Phyllis Wheatley was from
546. 37:41history?
547. 37:42And at Phyllis Wheatley High School this man the teachers named
548. 37:47Darryl is a Darryl on me.
549. 37:51His last name was William.
550. 37:52Darryl's Williams.
551. 37:54Darryl's Williams.
552. 37:58Man, this is so sad.
553. 38:02I don't even really, I wish I didn't have to talk about this.
554. 38:05I take no pleasure in this.
555. 38:06And I know some people think, well, you know,
556. 38:08Abe's on the HSLDA board and talks about homeschooling
557. 38:11all the time.
558. 38:11This is why guys, because I know this is happening.
559. 38:14I know these kinds of things are happening.
560. 38:17And they will continue to happen unless we make a change.
561. 38:20And I'm gonna tell you why I'm saying that.
562. 38:21Darius Williams is a teacher at Phyllis Wheatley High School in Houston, Texas in the fifth
563. 38:27ward and he particularly is a new education system and career and technical education teacher.
564. 38:35They call it CTE.
565. 38:37The district describes CTE as a collection of courses designed to prepare students for further
566. 38:42education and careers in current or emerging professions.
567. 38:46The Houston Independent School District says that CTE programs prepare students for industry
568. 38:50certifications while some programs also offer dual credit opportunities that allow students
569. 38:56to earn college credit while still in high school where there's one small problem. Because
570. 39:00on the second day of school, Mr. Williams gave his students, which consisted of seniors
571. 39:07largely, an assignment that required them to read two paragraphs and fill in blanks. And
572. 39:18And according to Mr. Williams, his students cannot read that there were several students
573. 39:24that cannot read and they were seniors in high school with tear-filled red eyes.
574. 39:34Darius Williams lamented the condition of the seniors in his class on the second day of school.
575. 39:40Listen to him, watch clip number seven, clip seven, go.
576. 39:43I literally broke down in the middle of class because I'm teaching seniors.
577. 39:54These kids are leaving high school and going to college, hopefully after they finish.
578. 40:04We had two paragraphs to read.
579. 40:09One sentence complete to write.
580. 40:15I gave them the sentence stamps.
581. 40:20I basically cleared the sentence for them in the month.
582. 40:27He's a 17 and 18 year old kids and they couldn't fill in four words.
583. 40:39Four words.
584. 40:45I gave them the scenario.
585. 40:48We annotated together.
586. 40:52I gave them the answers before we even had the problem and they couldn't do it.
587. 41:00What do you say to that man?
588. 41:08I'm gonna say he gave them the answers.
589. 41:11You watched the whole video he posted this on his personal social media accounts and he
590. 41:15did it during his lunch break.
591. 41:17He was at school or during his lunch break when he posted this.
592. 41:20And he said he gave them the answers and he said, the students can reason.
593. 41:27They can articulate what they think, what they feel verbally.
594. 41:30But the problem is when you have to reduce it to writing, when you have to put it on paper,
595. 41:37when you have to put it in print.
596. 41:46And these are seniors in high school.
597. 41:49Now, rewind the tape, he said, this is the second day of school.
598. 41:54So what's been going on the previous 11 years of these children's education?
599. 42:02He's not saying every child in the school, he's saying that these are students that were in
600. 42:05his class.
601. 42:06There have been lots of people who have been upset, why would you blast these children in
602. 42:12public?
603. 42:13Why do you want to say all of this in public?
604. 42:16And to which I just, I simply ask, do you think these people are really upset for the children's
605. 42:20or are they upset that he is exposed which really happening?
606. 42:24What has happened?
607. 42:27Are they upset because the children are embarrassed?
608. 42:34Which children? He didn't name anybody.
609. 42:38I found his school. He had the lanyard for the school around his neck.
610. 42:44Senior, 17 and 8-year-olds. I can't read.
611. 42:54Now, if you were listening to this program, I've been telling you about this
612. 42:56with the National Assessment of Educational Progress.
613. 42:59It's showing the data is showing that you have a significant percentage of American children
614. 43:03children who cannot read and they're being graduated from high schools.
615. 43:11How is that possible?
616. 43:13Why is that being allowed?
617. 43:14If that didn't make you mad enough, check this out.
618. 43:19Because Phyllis Wheatley High School is one of, I think about 130 schools that were taken
619. 43:25over by the state in the Houston area.
620. 43:28Houston ISD is the largest in the state of Texas.
621. 43:35the superintendent, Mike Miles was challenged at a board meeting after Mr.
622. 43:44Williams's video came out and was Mike Miles shocked and appalled.
623. 43:50Not really.
624. 43:51I know what he said, quote, we've always had this.
625. 43:56We've always had this.
626. 43:57That's what he said.
627. 43:58We've always had this four years ago.
628. 44:00It was worse.
629. 44:02Oh, oh, superintendent Mike.
630. 44:04So you telling me children can't read now and children ain't been able to read that
631. 44:09Phillips-Fillitz-Wiele High School for years.
632. 44:13And four years ago, the illiteracy of the high school students
633. 44:17was worse than it is now.
634. 44:20He goes on.
635. 44:22I'll go back to the quote.
636. 44:23We've always had this four years ago, it was worse.
637. 44:26There were more 11th graders and 12th graders
638. 44:28who could not read at grade level
639. 44:29and do math at grade level.
640. 44:31So it's serious business.
641. 44:33Give it the rest of his quote.
642. 44:38He goes on, is that new information?
643. 44:42I don't think it's new information.
644. 44:47Now this is Paul's, now this is the superintendent.
645. 44:53He's admitting children in that school
646. 44:57haven't been able to read for years.
647. 45:01In fact, the state stepped in, I did a little research
648. 45:03and took over Phyllis Wheatley High School
649. 45:07after seven consecutive years of failing grades in 2019.
650. 45:14And the takeovers are took place in 2023
651. 45:17because of COVID, they didn't have,
652. 45:19They didn't grade the school in 2020-21 and then 22, I believe, is, I think they had a C.
653. 45:26Great.
654. 45:27But the superintendent said, oh, yeah, yeah, this ain't the new children at Phillips.
655. 45:30We've been able to read for years.
656. 45:32Specifically, 11 and 12 graders haven't been able to read at grade level.
657. 45:35We've known this.
658. 45:36Here's the question I have as an American citizen, as a parent, as a taxpayer, why are
659. 45:41we allowing our tax dollars to go to schools where you have 11 and 12 graders who can't
660. 45:44read?
661. 45:46Is that the only school?
662. 45:47Oh, certainly not.
663. 45:48Yeah.
664. 45:49Obviously, is that the only school?
665. 45:50Of course not.
666. 45:54I've gone through the States
667. 45:57to where the spending on average per pupil
668. 46:00is hiding in private schools in the area,
669. 46:02but the children can't read.
670. 46:09Why do we keep doing this?
671. 46:12Why do we keep doing this?
672. 46:15I know there are lots of factors I contribute.
673. 46:18I'm not ignorant to what life is like
674. 46:21in places like Fifth Ward, Texas.
675. 46:23I know very well.
676. 46:27And guess what else I know?
677. 46:29Children can learn how to read in the hood.
678. 46:32I know that.
679. 46:34Guys, this is disgusting.
680. 46:36This is despicable.
681. 46:37And what I want you to see is this confluence of events
682. 46:39and pay attention to these stories we've been communicating.
683. 46:44Remember last week, when we, toward the end of the week,
684. 46:46we had Professor Samuel Moyne from Yale Law School
685. 46:49was saying that we need to wait votes in favor of children
686. 46:51because children's interests need to be represented via vote.
687. 46:55And he's saying that we need to have other voters,
688. 46:58almost like the vouching for voting in Minnesota.
689. 47:00We need to have other voters get votes to have more weight and to represent the interest
690. 47:08of the children and not the children's own parents.
691. 47:14What about the children who can read?
692. 47:16We talk about them too, Samuel Moyen.
693. 47:21We talk about them too.
694. 47:30And with all of this, even like it's remarkable how the so-called WNBA, and I'm calling this
695. 47:39so-called because of what they're acting, the WNBA don't know what the W stands for.
696. 47:48So whatever NBA, the wow, NBA, the who, NBA.
697. 47:54You got a whole league, but you can't define what a woman is.
698. 47:57Or won't define what a woman is.
699. 48:02And isn't it interesting following a Supreme Court justice hearing, now we're seeing the
700. 48:06exact same ideology, oh, in culture, go figure out how that happens.
701. 48:11All of these things, guys, are not the root.
702. 48:16They are symptoms of the root.
703. 48:19What is the root?
704. 48:21We as a nation have rejected the God of the Bible.
705. 48:26We as a nation, not individuals.
706. 48:30I know the majority of you guys listening to me right now are born again.
707. 48:34Holy Ghost Field.
708. 48:36Fire baptized.
709. 48:39I know that.
710. 48:41But our nation is what I'm talking about.
711. 48:44Our nation largely has turned away from the Lord.
712. 48:48So when we reject the Creator, we become voluntarily confused as to how we are to engage in His
713. 48:55creation. Romans one told us about that.
714. 49:00Professing to be wise, they became fools.
715. 49:05Exchange the Creator for created things, you see?
716. 49:12And the reason why I'm saying this, I don't want anybody to aim at the wrong
717. 49:17target as if it is the cause, the fraudulent voting,
718. 49:24the lying administrators.
719. 49:28You know, I've been just grieving over the weekend for all of the women who who miscarried, who took the COVID injections, because the experts said it was safe.
720. 49:42They were safe. Why, these same experts behind the scenes saying, man, there's evidence that shows you take this jab that it provokes miscarriages.
721. 49:53And these, these are not news stories.
722. 49:55So these are real people's lives that are being affected.
723. 49:59But all of these things are symptoms of the primary issue,
724. 50:07which is why I say regularly
725. 50:10that the greatest and most desperate need in our country
726. 50:13is repentance.
727. 50:15And I don't say that as a throwaway,
728. 50:16pie in the sky, never can happen type of thing.
729. 50:19I say it as a means to encourage and challenge us
730. 50:23to be about our father's business.
731. 50:26You don't have to win the world.
732. 50:27God's desire simply for you to be His witness in your world.
733. 50:32Let's be about our Father's business.
734. 50:34I light up the darkness starting right where we live.
