23. 1:06I had a great time there,
24. 1:08but I'm glad to be back here in the studio with you
25. 1:10at this very moment, many of you,
26. 1:11if not most of you are making your transition
27. 1:14from your part-time jobs where you generate an income
28. 1:17to your full-time jobs where you cultivate an outcome.
29. 1:19And as you do so, I want to remind you to do so
30. 1:21with intentionality, understanding the primacy
31. 1:24that God places on family,
32. 1:26and welcoming his view to govern, guide, and guard
33. 1:29your engagement in your family's lives. That was not a misspoken statement. I intentionally
34. 1:36stated the way I did because what we do to generate revenue as important as it is to the function of
35. 1:43our lives and our family's lives, it is not our full time job, our full time engagement. Our full
36. 1:49time engagement as followers of the Lord Jesus Christ is to make disciples outcome cultivation.
37. 1:58joined this evening as usual by the corner contingent right across from me, my man, 100
38. 2:02grand Mr. Bobby, and in the screening room produced extraordinaire often imitated, never
39. 2:09duplicated the real J. Mac. And we are ready to rock and roll with today's edition of the
40. 2:15today's edition of the program where we are all trying to figure out what exactly the W
41. 2:20in the WNBA stands for, you know, and based on the way things have unfolded, it seems to
42. 2:27the W, my stand for whatever, whatever you like I do for you,
43. 2:33whatever MBA, maybe so, maybe not.
44. 2:39We'll get into it, but as you are making your transition,
45. 2:42as I've stated in many, many, many, many, many times,
46. 2:45and we welcome the Lord to grab ahold of us in our families,
47. 2:49there's no question as to what could happen in our nation
48. 2:53because as we are transformed individually,
49. 2:56individuals invest in transformed families,
50. 3:00transform families, become agents of the King's agenda in our communities.
51. 3:07You've heard me say repeatedly that our call and commission is to live locally, refuse to
52. 3:13allow national and international headlines to manipulate you away from being faithful right
53. 3:19where God has planted you.
54. 3:22Have you considered that where you live is very well a product of God's divine design
55. 3:29for you?
56. 3:30Have you considered that?
57. 3:31that it is God's divine providence that has afforded you the opportunity to live right across the street from the people you live across the street from.
58. 3:39Have you considered those neighbors, the next door neighbors, both on the right and the left, if you have neighbors like that,
59. 3:45that they've been placed there by God's divine prerogative?
60. 3:50Do you know your neighbors?
61. 3:53Do you know whether or not they're believers?
62. 3:55Have you sought to establish a trusted relationship with your neighbors?
63. 3:59I've been saying, man, as God transforms us individually, then our families are anchored in the Lord's
64. 4:05will for us and his mission for us. And then we move forward in our neighborhoods.
65. 4:12You knock on your neighbors, though you may find out, man, man, they're believers too.
66. 4:18Then guess what just happens? Now you have two families in your neighborhood
67. 4:23to work the king's mission right in your neighborhood. Then you have two families.
68. 4:27going fine to other neighbors. Next thing you know, man, you may very well have
69. 4:3316 families right in your immediate community that are all passionate,
70. 4:38committed, lifelong, obedient disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ. You know, one of
71. 4:44the things we were talking about this weekend that when Christian discipleship
72. 4:48takes place when a person is born again and then they become committed to
73. 4:52Christian discipleship, that Jesus Christ transforms us by his spirit to where our
74. 4:58character is transformed into Christ-likeness. And as we are transformed into
75. 5:05Christ-likeness, that Jesus likewise transforms our values into Kingdom values.
76. 5:12And then as our values are transformed into Kingdom values, that we seek to be
77. 5:18involved in the Lord's mission, in our homes, in the church, our local churches in
78. 5:25particular and in the world, we become switched on to being about our Father's business.
79. 5:35To the word of God we go.
80. 5:36Joshua chapter 9 is what we're going to go today.
81. 5:39Joshua chapter 9, this is a portion of scripture where Joshua was leading the Israelites into
82. 5:46the entree and settling into the Promised Land.
83. 5:54And Joshua had his marching orders to make no covenants with anybody in the land.
84. 5:59those people, you can find this dude around in chapter 7, for example,
85. 6:02lest those who turn your hearts away from following wholeheartedly after Yahweh.
86. 6:07And after having massive victories, first at Jericho,
87. 6:14a setback at AI, then victory at AI, they continued to go forward.
88. 6:19And what had been a feature of Joshua's leadership of the nation Israel at this
89. 6:23juncture is that he would seek the Lord diligently.
90. 6:26But then you have this account in the scripture.
91. 6:31Joshua chapter nine, I saw it in verse three,
92. 6:34and I'm just gonna read through to verse 18.
93. 6:39Joshua chapter nine, verse three.
94. 6:41I'm gonna read all the way through to verse 18.
95. 6:43And this is what God's word says.
96. 6:44But when the inhabitants of Gibeon,
97. 6:46notice it says the inhabitants of Gibeon.
98. 6:48It doesn't say they're ethnicity, just yet.
99. 6:51Their ethnicity is gonna be revealed in a few verses.
100. 6:54But they were residing in the city of Gibeon.
101. 6:58Back to verse three.
102. 6:59inhabitants of Gibby and heard, heard what Joshua had done to Jericho and to AI, they
103. 7:06on their part acted with cunning and went and made ready provisions and took worn out
104. 7:11sacks for their donkeys and wineskins, worn out in torn and mended, with worn out patched
105. 7:18sandals on their feet, and worn out clothes, and all their provisions were dry and crumbling,
106. 7:26And they went to Joshua in the camp at Gilgal and said to him, and to the men of Israel,
107. 7:32we have come from a distant country.
108. 7:36So now make a covenant with us.
109. 7:39But the men of Israel said, to the high vites or the hivites, there's ethnicity.
110. 7:44The Gibeonites were hivites residing in Gibeon.
111. 7:49But the men of Israel said to the hivites, perhaps you live among us.
112. 7:54Then how can we make a covenant with you?
113. 7:57they gave you a nice head to Joshua, we are your servants. And Joshua said to them, who
114. 8:03are you and where do you come from? They said to him, from a very distant country your servants
115. 8:11have come because of the name of the Lord your God. But we have heard a report of him
116. 8:18and all that he did in Egypt and all that he did to the two kings of the Amorites who
117. 8:23were beyond the Jordan to Saihon the king of Heshbon and to aug the king of Bayshen who
118. 8:28who lived in Astroth.
119. 8:30So our elders and all the inhabitants of our country
120. 8:33said to us, take provisions in your hand for the journey
121. 8:36and go to meet them and say to them, we are your servants.
122. 8:40Come now, make a covenant with us.
123. 8:43Here is our bread.
124. 8:45It was still warm when we took it from our houses
125. 8:47as our food for the journey on the day we set out to come to you.
126. 8:50But now behold, it is dry and crumbly.
127. 8:54These wineskins were new when we filled them
128. 8:56and behold, they have burst.
129. 8:58and these garments and sandals of ours are worn out from the very long journey.
130. 9:03So the men took some of their provisions, I mean in the Israelites, but did not ask counsel
131. 9:10of the Lord, but did not ask counsel from the Lord.
132. 9:17And Joshua made peace with them and made a covenant with them to let them live, and the
133. 9:23leaders of their congregation swore to them.
134. 9:27At the end of three days after they had made a covenant with them, they heard that the Gibeonites
135. 9:32were their neighbors and that they lived among them, and the people of Israel set out and
136. 9:36reached their cities on the third day.
137. 9:39Now their cities were Gibeon, Shafara, Barov, and Karyath Jairim, but the people of Israel
138. 9:47did not attack them because the leaders of the congregation had sworn to them by the Lord
139. 9:52the God of Israel, then all the congregation murmured against the leaders.
140. 9:58What you have there, folks in the scripture, is a biblical example of a subset of a people
141. 10:08group who recognized that they were incapable of overcoming the Israelites.
142. 10:18So because they were incapable of overcoming them, they decided to deceive them via ruse.
143. 10:26See the hivites living in Gibeon knew what was going on with the Israelites because they
144. 10:31were right there in what ultimately will become the Israelite territory.
145. 10:37So they knew about Aug and Beishan.
146. 10:39They knew about them.
147. 10:40They knew about the lords, deliverance of his people from Egypt.
148. 10:43They knew all about it.
149. 10:45So they realized, we won't be able to withstand them.
150. 10:48So our best bet is to deceive them
151. 10:52into entering a covenant with us.
152. 10:54To deceive them, to allow them to welcome us
153. 11:01to join their community.
154. 11:04Yeah, that's not familiar, any of that sound for me.
155. 11:08Yeah, yeah, yeah.
156. 11:10Yeah, yeah.
157. 11:11So they came up with a scheme.
158. 11:13Let's make our bread look old and dusty and we'll get our rag, rag, tag, clothes and make
159. 11:19it look like we travel from far, far, far, far, far away.
160. 11:23Even though we were right around the corner the whole time.
161. 11:26And by the time the Israelites realized that they had been duped, it was too late because
162. 11:31they had already entered the covenant with them.
163. 11:32And the key component is right there in verse 14.
164. 11:38So the men took some of their provisions but did not ask counsel from the Lord.
165. 11:44When you read this chapter in its context reading chapter 6, 7, and 8 preceding it, and
166. 11:50chapter 10 after it, you'll see that the Lord included that narrated observation intentionally
167. 11:58to show that this is a deviation from what Joshua had been doing.
168. 12:02This is an aberration from the stance that they had been taking.
169. 12:07And it also was put there to serve as a marker that portends some pretty horrible things that
170. 12:13would come later on. I've referred to this before, but it is later on where you get to
171. 12:19Judges, chapter 19, where you have the events recorded in Genesis 19 as a current and Sodom
172. 12:28and Gomorrah, you find that the very same activities ultimately start happening within
173. 12:34Israel. You have grotesque sexual immorality and homosexuality and in combining that with
174. 12:43murderous disposition to where you had the visiting and so- so- so- so- journeying Levite
175. 12:48who happened up into the Benjaminite territory because the Gibeonites end up settling in Gibia
176. 12:54of Benjamin. That's where it becomes, which is the same city where they came from the first place.
177. 12:59They just makes- it just ends up making their h- hivite, Canaanite city, a part of Israel.
178. 13:08Because many of you might have had the thought, man. Now, the Lord has clear instructions in-
179. 13:12in his law, the Mosaic Law, as how to visualize art and conduct themselves.
180. 13:16So, how do the Israelites devolve into full-on homosexuality?
181. 13:21Could it be?
182. 13:22Could it be that the Gibeonites end up bringing their practices along with them?
183. 13:32Could it be that the Gibeonites maintained some hivite loyalties?
184. 13:40Could it be?
185. 13:42Now, that is a bit of speculation on my point, no doubt about it.
186. 13:47Nonetheless, when the Gibeonites engage in the grotesque immorality as recorded in Judges
187. 13:5519, so much so to where the scripture declares, they rape the Levites concubina till she dies.
188. 14:05The rest of the tribe of Benjamin ends up going to war to fight on behalf of the Gibeonites.
189. 14:14That if you don't have Joshua 9, you probably won't even get to a Judges 19.
190. 14:20I'd mention there are all kind of other things that ends up happening in Israel because of the Gibeonites being there.
191. 14:27And later on, who is the first king of Israel?
192. 14:29Saul, son of Gish, son of Kish, who's from where?
193. 14:35Gibia in Benjamin.
194. 14:37A lot of the things that end up being a snare to Israel down the line,
195. 14:45followed from the failure to seek the Lord right here in Joshua chapter 9.

209. 15:29help us all to grow an understanding of how critical it is
210. 15:32that we do our job, that we carry out what you call us to do,
211. 15:36but help us to know, Lord, that your word is a wonderful tool,
212. 15:39a wonderful guidebook in helping us to be faithful disciples
213. 15:43and faithful disciple makers as well.
214. 15:46Use us in a wonderful way to help them to come to know Christ
215. 15:50and then use us and work through us to help our children
216. 15:53to come to fall in love with you and with your word.

221. 16:23So in case you don't know, last week, toward the latter part of last week, in McKinney, Texas,
222. 16:30The McKinney City Council had a hearing on whether to allow the Islamic Association of
223. 16:37McKinney to expand from its current locations to a new five and a half acre campus where
224. 16:48they can host up to 2,000 Muslims at one time.
225. 16:53Now just for those of you who are not Texans who may not be aware that McKinney, Texas is
226. 17:00in an area north of Dallas, Texas.
227. 17:05So you have Dallas, the Dallas Metroplex, which is just up I45 north from Houston, and
228. 17:12north of Dallas, you come to Plano.
229. 17:16Well, why am I mentioning Plano?
230. 17:17Well, you might recall that this whole phenomenon has already had a run and is running now in
231. 17:28Plano with Epic City.
232. 17:30Remember that, remember that Bobby?
233. 17:31Epic is an acronym for the East Plano Islamic Center.
234. 17:35Well, they proposed basically almost a new municipality.
235. 17:40That was a Muslim only community that would include housing,
236. 17:45recreational facilities, soccer fields and things
237. 17:49and a new huge mosque as well as Madrasa Islamic school
238. 17:55and in order to live there and to move in there
239. 17:57and to be a part of that you would have to be Muslim.
240. 18:02which led to some protest, kind of late in the game,
241. 18:06if you ask me, but ultimately,
242. 18:10Texas Governor Greg Abbott got involved
243. 18:12and state legislators got involved
244. 18:14in trying to say, well, this is discrimination
245. 18:16and started, you know, expressing opposition to Epic City.
246. 18:23Now, we've talked at length in the past
247. 18:25about Dearborn Michigan and Hamtramic, Michigan,
248. 18:28where right now the majority of the citizens,
249. 18:30or say to say to residents in Hamtramic,
250. 18:33are of the Shiite Muslim variety, the same sect as the nation of Iran and the
251. 18:40Khomeini regime in Iran. And then you have similar ideologies in Dearborn
252. 18:45Michigan, which is right outside of Detroit, Michigan. Right? So getting back
253. 18:51to Texas and then North from Plano is McKinney, Texas. Now I'm explaining all of
254. 18:57this so you can see kind of connect the dots because sometimes when we hear these
255. 19:00stories we don't connect them appropriately and don't get a full contextual prick picture.
256. 19:05This is also the same area where the DFW airport, the Dallas Fort Worth airport, well
257. 19:10you might recall a Christian pastor was trying, had some tie between flights and was trying
258. 19:16to go into the chapel in the airport and he was forbidden from entering the chapel.

261. 19:26And so the Christian pastor was not allowed to enter, which he persisted and ended up getting
262. 19:36the airport officials to ultimately let them in.

407. 27:55delayed because it takes so long to register the number of people who are
408. 28:01gather to speak because you have people there to speak in favor of it, a fraction of the
409. 28:07number who was there to speak in opposition to it.
410. 28:10But I want you to know a couple things.
411. 28:12One of the people who spoke in favor of it, of the expansion of the Islamic Center in McKinney,
412. 28:16Texas was McKinney's former mayor, George Fuller.
413. 28:22The former mayor is saying, man, what is the big deal?
414. 28:29These people have been in our community for years, which I don't know if the former mayor
415. 28:34understands this or not.

431. 29:36unanimously. There are seven members of the McKinney City Council and all seven voted in favor of it.
432. 29:47Do you see? It's a what about that whole representative government thing. You know, what about,
433. 29:55you know, you listen to your constituents, huh? One of the things that it seems that the vote
434. 30:04was already in the bag before the hearing, because how do you get a 7-0 ruling, I'm sorry, a 7-0
435. 30:11vote in favor of the expansion of the Islamic Center when the
436. 30:15overwhelming majority of people at the council meeting were opposed to it.
437. 30:18Do you think they were making up their minds during the hearing during during
438. 30:21the hearing? Seven and nothing. Do you think they were making up their
439. 30:30minds and in those seven council members, the seven people who make up the council
440. 30:37is the mayor current mayor Bill Cox, the mayor pro tem Rick Franklin, city council
441. 30:44Councilmember District 1 Justin Beller, Councilmember District 2 Patrick Clotier, I don't know if I'm pronouncing that properly, Councilmember District 3, Jeray Feltis, that will be Dr. Jeray Feltis, who interestingly is a board certified family physician.
442. 31:03Well no, I'm just wondering how many young ladies she's going to end up having to help through certain traumatic experiences in light of this recent expansion vote, you know what I mean?
443. 31:15City Council Member at large Ernest Lynch City Council Member at large Michael Jones, usually
444. 31:20the at large City Council members are similar to mayors in that they have to have the entire
445. 31:24municipality to vote in their favor.
446. 31:28So in spite of the vigorous opposition to the expansion to the new campus and by the way,
447. 31:36the reason why the Islamic Center of, well let me say it properly, Islamic Association
448. 31:41of McKinneys, the Islamic Association of McKinneys sought to expand is because they've
449. 31:47outgrown their current space. They've outgrown their current space. Uh huh. Yeah. And it just, man,
450. 32:02it's the same old right. You study history. The beginning is always peaceful, always,
451. 32:09until there's an accumulation of power. And then you see the same trajectory. And then we'll begin
452. 32:17as a peaceful presence. Please just accommodate us becomes what they're facing in the UK right now.
453. 32:23Search in the rapes, no go zones.
454. 32:30Are we going to allow the same thing to happen in our country guys?
455. 32:36And I think a large part of it, and the Muslim brother told you that they're going to use the United States as laws against the United States.
456. 32:45The large part of what's happening is a twisted, perverted, and incomplete understanding of our First Amendment.

470. 34:21Folks I believe there are two primary methods to deal with the twisting and perversion of
471. 34:27our First Amendment to work against the preservation and continuation of our Constitution and Republican
472. 34:37form of government in our country.
473. 34:39We must return to a founder's understanding of the First Amendment, where you cannot persuade
474. 34:44me successfully that the founders anticipated wickens and Satanism and Islamism to be viable,
475. 34:55like Sharia as viable practices within the American body politic.
476. 34:58So to one of the things I would submit to you for consideration is the letter from George
477. 35:03Washington to the Hebrew congregation of Newport, Rhode Island, authored August 18, 1790.
478. 35:12So this is shortly after our US Constitution is ratified.
479. 35:15Just to get right to the point that George Washington ended up in a discourse with the
480. 35:21Hebrew congregation of Rhode Island in which George Washington conveys that Judaism would
481. 35:27be protected under the US Constitution.
482. 35:29All right?
483. 35:31I think an argument can be made that what the founders had in view were religions that were
484. 35:36consistent with the Judeo-Christian ethos and not any others because there was significant
485. 35:41debates.
486. 35:42For example, the First Amendment is not the only text regarding religion in our Constitution.
487. 35:48You also have Article 6, you have the religious test clause of the Constitution.
488. 35:54And much of the reasonings for the religious test clause because the Founders anticipated
489. 35:58the federal government to be the to be a smaller, less involved iteration of government in the
490. 36:05daily lives of American Americans because as Article 6 was ultimately ratified, first
491. 36:11drafted and then ratified by the states existing at the time of the Constitution's ratification
492. 36:17that at the exact same time the majority of states had religious tests for office.
493. 36:22So the understanding was one within federalism to where the founders and drafters and signers
494. 36:28of the Constitution wanted to make sure that the federal government did not expand beyond
495. 36:34where it's supposed to be.
496. 36:35And this is one of the things that kind of gets lost in our conversations.
497. 36:40That the federal government was never supposed to be the end all be all for religion and
498. 36:44its application to people who would fill the roles within government or structure and ultimately
499. 36:49the deciders of how the freedom to practice one's religion would be exercised in our nation.
500. 36:57That's the first thing.
501. 36:58Secondarily, I believe you have a very strong argument that can be made when you have people
502. 37:06who would have certain practices and they'll put religion on top of the practices that we've
503. 37:12clearly identified as criminal.
504. 37:13For example, if you have people who as the overwhelming majority of pagan religions throughout
505. 37:20human history included within their religious devotion was child sacrifice.
506. 37:26And it's amazing in our country.
507. 37:32If someone said they were participating in a religion that says, well, our religion says
508. 37:34we should be able to murder babies as a part of our religion.
509. 37:39If it was a religious practice overtly stated as such, many people in our country say, well,
510. 37:44of course not.
511. 37:45But when you twist that religious commitment and say, yeah, but it's a constitutional
512. 37:49freedom, you see, you see what I'm saying here?
513. 37:53So, and I know because of how long it's been that there's been a concerted effort to try
514. 38:00to reject the God of the Bible from our society and civilization, and which would make it very
515. 38:13difficult to now come back around and say, well, you know, when we say religion in the
516. 38:17First Amendment, we had clearly in view religions as reflective of the God of the Bible is hard
517. 38:24to put that two space back in a tube.
518. 38:27But this is why I'm saying where we are is very similar
519. 38:30to what happened to Joshua in the Israelites
520. 38:32in Joshua chapter nine, because of failure
521. 38:36to seek the Lord then they could not envision
522. 38:39that you and some of these people were just
523. 38:41from around the corner and they're gonna present themselves
524. 38:43as peaceful on the front end, just to make their way
525. 38:47so we can make a covenant with them.
526. 38:49Guys, that's what's happening to us in our own country.

530. 39:02the twisting of our First Amendment into a pretzel

559. 41:18this is wild well the SBLC filed a motion to
560. 41:23dismiss the case in federal court in
561. 41:27Alabama where u.s. district judge emily marks
562. 41:31said not so fast my friends the SBLC attempted to
563. 41:35assert that the case should have been dismissed because
564. 41:39the Trump Department of Justice
565. 41:44were prosecuting them based on Animus.
566. 41:47It was a malicious prosecution
567. 41:51because they only wanna prosecute us
568. 41:52because we're exercising our first amendment rights.
569. 41:55Well, the judge said, no, no, no, no, not so fast, my friend.
570. 42:01There's no evidence to substantiate that.
571. 42:03And oh, by the way, trial's gonna start in October.

575. 42:14law center to have its case brought by the DOJ dismissed over allegations of indicative

578. 42:26Middle District of Alabama targeted the group over its First Amendment rights.
579. 42:31She wrote that heated political rhetoric is not evidence of legal animus.
580. 42:36The SPLC is accused by the Justice Department of defrauding its donors by funding informants
581. 42:43inside the very hate groups they claim to be fighting.
582. 42:46The organization has pleaded not guilty to the charges and trial is expected to begin
583. 42:51in October.

609. 44:12like Clay Travis who has a $10 million bet out there right now. I'm not encouraging gambling.
610. 44:17But it said, listen, I'll put the WMB champion up against a high school boys all star team
611. 44:23and high school boys will drub the WMB champions. In fact, I would I would take it a step further
612. 44:29with Clay Travis, take the WMB all star team and put him up against like a McDonald's All
613. 44:34All American boys all start, all start, all team.
614. 44:37And the boys will win by 50.
615. 44:42One of the major reasons is why because you have seven foot tall, 17 year olds who weigh
616. 44:47250 pounds with 38 inch verticals.

684. 48:46knocking upside the head in every game this is what you open yourself up to and
685. 48:51then following with Sophie Cunningham said you have coaches wearing shirts
686. 48:55protect trans rights and all this other kind of stuff
687. 48:58French protect that's right protect trans kids all right protect the trans
688. 49:02kids playing basketball in it let all of the the the basketball players with
689. 49:08hoop dreams in high school that couldn't make it to D1 in college and the D1 players that
690. 49:12couldn't make it to the NBA, all of a sudden, now you got Juana man in real life.
