  10. 0:28And now the Hamilton Corner.
  11. 0:33Good evening, everybody.
  12. 0:34Welcome to the Hamilton Corner.
  13. 0:36Abraham Hamilton.
  14. 0:37The third is my name joined by the corner contingent right across from me.
  15. 0:41My man, a hundred grand Mr.
  16. 0:44Bobby, her.
  17. 0:47And in the screening room, even if fashion choices are questionable,
  18. 0:56produce extraordinary.
  19. 0:57I never imitate it.
  20. 0:59I often imitate it.
  21. 1:00Never duplicated the real J back.
  22. 1:02Ladies and gentlemen, is in the string.
  23. 1:05He just shaking his head at me like this.
  24. 1:08Man, working with a man, this dude.
  25. 1:11You ain't never safe, man.
  26. 1:12I'm over here just trying to get the video up
  27. 1:14and running and there he go.
  28. 1:16Captain Strays, while I'm being diligent in my employ.
  29. 1:22Thank you to every single one of you
  30. 1:24who have tuned in to the program.
  31. 1:28So much is going on.
  32. 1:31The fallout from the Louisiana case is providing a predictable amount of, shall I say, impassioned
  33. 1:43responses.
  34. 1:47But before we get into all of that, this is a place where we remind you every day that
  35. 1:50what goes on in your house is far more important than what goes on in the White House.
  36. 1:54As you're listening at this moment, you're transitioning from your part-time jobs, many
  37. 1:58of you, your part-time jobs where you generate an income to your full-time jobs where you
  38. 2:05cultivate an outcome. And as you do so, I want to remind you to do so with intentionality,
  39. 2:10understanding the primacy that God places on family and welcoming his view to become frankly
  40. 2:19your view and that we engage with an intentionality and an urgency because the moment truly, truly,
  41. 2:28truly is urgent. It truly is urgent. There's a reason that the family with marriage at the center
  42. 2:35And it would be clear marriage has one definition.
  43. 2:38I don't care how many people offer counter narratives or counterfeit of the definition.
  44. 2:46There's only one definition.
  45. 2:47Marriage is a lifelong exclusive union of one man and one woman with the capacity to bear
  46. 2:52offspring.
  47. 2:53There's a biological component that provides the opportunity for fruitfulness to flow from
  48. 2:58that union.
  49. 3:00The union that fruitfulness is not, it is a construction, a constructional impossibility.
  50. 3:07And I'm saying constructional because how many times have there been couples who have been told
  51. 3:13that they're not capable of reproducing a husband and a wife, a male and a female and
  52. 3:18adult human male and adult human female.
  53. 3:21And guess what happens?
  54. 3:22Oh, miraculously, the one who refers to children as his heritage is also the opener of the
  55. 3:29womb.
  56. 3:31So that's what I mean when I say the capacity to bear offspring.
  57. 3:35It's on the one definition.
  58. 3:38And God has designed the family in the way that he has because it is the primary
  59. 3:42institution that is tasked, mandated by him with the generational obligation
  60. 3:50and opportunity to execute the King's Commission.
  61. 3:57That's why there's so much effort to try to get us as parents to outsource our
  62. 4:02opportunity elsewhere so that we become disengaged in this primary responsibility.
  63. 4:08But the simple reality is darkness is not an affirmative force, but it reoccupies the space that is vacated by the light.
  64. 4:18My prayer for this audience and for our nation, frankly, is that the Lord will grab a hold of us starting in our homes.
  65. 4:26And I believe with everything in me, should the Lord tear you, we can see a massive reversal and a new great awakening.
  66. 4:33if we would welcome the Lord to grab ahold of us in our families.
  67. 4:40To the word of God we go. Daniel chapter 6 is what we're going to go today. Daniel chapter 6.
  68. 4:48We were talking with the men in our local church last night about integrity,
  69. 4:53about integrity. And when I think about integrity,
  70. 4:56one of the first people comes to mind to me from the Bible is Daniel.
  71. 5:01And I'll explain why.
  72. 5:05I love meditating on Daniel and his life and his ministry because as the scripture unfolds
  73. 5:12it, he was among the first of the exiles into the Babylonian Empire.
  74. 5:16And when he was exiled there, he was a Yaled, which means that he was a young, he was a boy
  75. 5:23when he arrives in Babylon.
  76. 5:25And though he physically lives in Babylon far longer than he ever lived in Judah, Babylon
  77. 5:31nevertheless never lives in Daniel. At this stage where we are in Daniel chapter 6, Daniel is closer,
  78. 5:39if not already, upwards of the age of 80 years old. So we're looking at the elder statesman,
  79. 5:47Daniel in Daniel chapter 6. And this is when King Darius is now
  80. 5:56King as the transition from the the the Medes into the Persian Empire, say, were successors
  81. 6:05to the Babylonian Empire.
  82. 6:07And we read in verses one through five, Daniel chapter six, verses one through five.
  83. 6:13This is what the Word of God says.
  84. 6:14It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom, 120 satraps to be throughout the whole kingdom
  85. 6:23and over them three high officials of whom Daniel was one,
  86. 6:30to whom these satraps should give an account,
  87. 6:32should give account so that the king might suffer no loss.
  88. 6:36Then this Daniel became distinguished
  89. 6:39above all the other high officials and satraps
  90. 6:44because an excellent spirit was in him.
  91. 6:48And the king planned to set him over the whole kingdom.
  92. 6:54Then the high officials and the satraps sought to find a ground for complaint against Daniel
  93. 6:59with regard to the kingdom, but they could find no ground for complaint or any fault because
  94. 7:07he was faithful and no error or fault was found in him.
  95. 7:15Then these men said, we shall not find any ground for complaint against this Daniel unless
  96. 7:21We find it in connection with the law of his God.
  97. 7:32This proceeds with later on becomes Daniel's,
  98. 7:37the account of Daniel in the lion's den.
  99. 7:40But I wanna encourage you to remember
  100. 7:41whenever you think about Daniel in the lion's den,
  101. 7:44never forget that that was the product
  102. 7:48of an evil scheme to try to ensnare Daniel
  103. 7:53by digging up dirt on him,
  104. 7:55but they were unable to find any dirt.
  105. 7:57So the only way they could scheme against Daniel
  106. 8:00is to somehow cause his faithfulness to Yahweh
  107. 8:05to be deemed illegal.
  108. 8:11Now I wanna point out a couple things.
  109. 8:12And verse one of chapter six, when I say,
  110. 8:14please, Darius, to set over the kingdom,
  111. 8:15120 satraps, those satraps were provincial rulers,
  112. 8:20provincial rulers.
  113. 8:22Then above them, this is in the governmental structure
  114. 8:24under King Darius.
  115. 8:27Darius is at the top.
  116. 8:28then underneath Darius there were three high officials.
  117. 8:32In Daniel was one of the three high officials.
  118. 8:35Then beneath Daniel there were 120 provincial rulers.
  119. 8:39In addition to what I said before,
  120. 8:40when you think about the lion's den scenario,
  121. 8:43also remember that it unfolded as Darius
  122. 8:47was about to make Daniel the second in the kingdom.
  123. 8:51Just as Joseph was in Egypt,
  124. 8:54that was about to happen with Daniel.
  125. 8:57even in this exiled disposition. All right? Keep that in mind. And so then what had happened
  126. 9:08was the other two high officials, because remember it was three high officials, they were all
  127. 9:14peers. They were all peers. And then they had the sat trap, the provincial rulers beneath
  128. 9:19them. And so the other two high officials, they became jealous of Daniel because, as the
  129. 9:27scripture says he had an excellent spirit within him and he was faithful.
  130. 9:34So, the cream that is in Daniel rose to the top and they were jealous.
  131. 9:39So the other two high officials conspired with some of the 120 provincial rulers, the satraps,
  132. 9:48to say, now we got to get this Daniel.
  133. 9:51Now would you have to realize that these high officials in the governmental structure under
  134. 9:55These are people that would have had like to make an analogy to our own government cabinet level access.
  135. 10:02You're talking about heads of three letter agencies.
  136. 10:05You're talking about people that can utilize the full investigatory power of the government,
  137. 10:13of the monarchial government to find dirt on Daniel.
  138. 10:19In the scripture reads, I know these are just five short verses,
  139. 10:23verses, but the way the scripture reads is that the other two high officials work with
  140. 10:27some of the satraps in order to do that very thing.
  141. 10:30They exhaustively had, stop me, this sounds familiar, well I won't say this sounds familiar,
  142. 10:37but they had a sanctioned investigation on Daniel.
  143. 10:43And the results of their investigation was verse four.
  144. 10:51Then the high officials in the satraps sought to find a ground for complaint against Daniel
  145. 10:56with regard to the kingdom. I mean, he's got to be stealing something. Surely, I mean,
  146. 11:03because we're stealing, we're skipping off the top. Surely we all do that, right? And
  147. 11:10I'm sure Daniel has a couple of fang fangs that he hadn't told anybody about in his, you
  148. 11:15know, they're digging up the dirt. They're trying to find something. They want it to be
  149. 11:21useful and actionable to ensnare Daniel and to cause and to corrupt his standing with
  150. 11:32of King Darius, and they're using all of their, their wiles.
  151. 11:36They're using all of their resources.
  152. 11:38They're using all of their connections.
  153. 11:40They're using their informants.
  154. 11:42S-P-O-C, sorry I had a little, some had a sneeze, had a sneeze.
  155. 11:46Even some of the informants they paid.
  156. 11:53And they sought for a ground for complaint or any fault against Daniel with regard to
  157. 12:00the kingdom.
  158. 12:01But this is one of the most profound portions of scripture that we have, not exclusively,
  159. 12:05I mean, the word of God is just overwhelmingly profound.
  160. 12:09But look at this, and this is said about Daniel
  161. 12:12from the narrative standpoint.
  162. 12:13This is God's observation of Daniel
  163. 12:16that shows why these evil conspirators came up
  164. 12:22with zero, with nada.
  165. 12:24But they could find no ground for complaint
  166. 12:28or any fault against Daniel because he was faithful.
  167. 12:36You wanna talk about integrity.
  168. 12:40This is an example of what I'm striving for in my own life.
  169. 12:44This is an example of what we all should be striving for
  170. 12:47in our lives.
  171. 12:48You know, I will live in a culture
  172. 12:51and you have these nasty comedians and all of these people,
  173. 12:55these nasty podcasts with men and women,
  174. 12:58all this kind of stuff.
  175. 12:59And it's a running,
  176. 13:00Joe, who don't let your wife get your phone?
  177. 13:05You'll go hungry before you let your wife get your phone.
  178. 13:09That shouldn't be for men of God.
  179. 13:12Man, we walk in the light.
  180. 13:14Ain't nothing about darkness we want to have any parts of.
  181. 13:18If you let your wife take your phone,
  182. 13:19yeah, my wife takes my phone.
  183. 13:22Of course.
  184. 13:25Whoa, why you do that?
  185. 13:28Cause there's nothing to hide on my phone.
  186. 13:31Now, if you're listening to me and you're saying,
  187. 13:32whoo, whoo, is it just me or the day?
  188. 13:36I get a little thin in here.
  189. 13:37If you start breathing like this,
  190. 13:43maybe you need to take a marching water from Daniel.
  191. 13:47And to be blunt, first of all, just confess your sin
  192. 13:51and repent because when we have these things in our lives,
  193. 13:55these hooks, you know, Jesus said,
  194. 13:58here comes Satan and he has nothing in me.
  195. 14:01Nothing.
  196. 14:03Man, we should strive to be men and women of integrity
  197. 14:06just like this.
  198. 14:08Same thing with our sisters,
  199. 14:09your husband can't take your phone?
  200. 14:10Can't have your cell phone?
  201. 14:12What's on your phone that your husband can't look at?
  202. 14:18We're looking at all of these things
  203. 14:20on the international stage, on the global stage,
  204. 14:22on the national stage.
  205. 14:26What should we do at night of all of this?
  206. 14:27How about we start here?
  207. 14:30Cultivate the type of integrity to where it don't matter
  208. 14:33who is looking that we can be like Daniel.
  209. 14:36And remind the words of Pastor Wang Yi in China,
  210. 14:40where they don't have any privacy.
  211. 14:41There's no first amendment, no Bill of Rights.
  212. 14:43He said, we know the government is looking.
  213. 14:45Why don't we give them a picture
  214. 14:47of what authentic Christ following looks like?
  215. 14:49Because the cameras everywhere they're watching,
  216. 14:52I would say in our nation,
  217. 14:54we need to cultivate integrity to be people of integrity.
  218. 15:00discipleship minute with Joseph Parker.
  219. 15:03The Ten Commandments are the moral law of God.
  220. 15:08Well, that's Old Testament.
  221. 15:09Well, keep in mind the moral law of God does not change.
  222. 15:13And the fact is some of the biggest challenges
  223. 15:15we're dealing with in our culture, in our world today,
  224. 15:19are a direct result of people violating
  225. 15:22the clear counsel of the Ten Commandments.
  226. 15:24We think of the tragedy of abortion.
  227. 15:27The Bible clearly tells us you shall not murder.
  228. 15:30God's word is so clear.
  229. 15:33Did you know murder is never in order
  230. 15:35under any circumstances,
  231. 15:36not through abortion or through any other means,
  232. 15:38yet sadly we live in a world that tries to say,
  233. 15:41well under certain circumstances, murder is okay.
  234. 15:45Many try to say that one of those circumstances
  235. 15:47is because of abortion.
  236. 15:49Remember God's word does not change
  237. 15:52and it's important that we as the people of God
  238. 15:54are clear, boldly clear on that reality.
  239. 16:05Shining light into the darkness. This is the Hamilton Corner on American family radio

  256. 17:30So the website to register for that is missionmychn.org.
  257. 17:37My wife will be presenting several sessions there
  258. 17:39to the moms.
  259. 17:40We're gonna have a great time.
  260. 17:42If you're in the area,
  261. 17:43we'll then come to the area.
  262. 17:44I'd love to see you and meet you there.
  263. 17:47That is the next two events.
  264. 17:50And stay tuned because we'll be all over the country.
  265. 17:54Now today I wanna give you just a snapshot
  266. 17:57because just for my own edification,
  267. 17:59I've been looking at things, looking at our history as we're approaching the 250th celebration
  268. 18:05and anniversary of our Declaration of Independence and on this day in history, 237 years ago.
  269. 18:12Today, April 30, 1789 was actually the date that George Washington was sworn in and ultimately
  270. 18:23delivered his inaugural address, the first inaugural address as the first president under
  271. 18:27There are then newly established Constitution, and there were several things that are interesting
  272. 18:34that stood out to me as I look back on this time.
  273. 18:38First, among them is that you had the predetermined oath of office.
  274. 18:46But interestingly enough, and we have an eyewitness account to this that was published
  275. 18:50in newspapers.
  276. 18:51This is one of the ways we know that this transpired.
  277. 18:54But George Washington takes the oath of office using the Bible.
  278. 18:58You know, several things that he did became president's setting for presidents who followed
  279. 19:03him, but there was no president before him.
  280. 19:06So his utilization of the Bible was a choice that he made.
  281. 19:12Secondarily after the oath of office was administered to him, the first-hand account indicates
  282. 19:17that George Washington, now president Washington, leans over and kisses the Bible.
  283. 19:24was just so happened to have been open to Genesis chapter 49, and he concludes taking
  284. 19:29the oath of office by saying, so help me God.
  285. 19:33That was not pre-planned.
  286. 19:35That was something that George Washington added of his own initiative.
  287. 19:42Then he followed his oath-taking with the first ever presidential inaugural address under
  288. 19:50our Constitution, and doing so, he invoked divine providence and offered fervent supplications
  289. 19:56to the quote that Almighty being who rules over the universe, this is what he said during
  290. 20:02his address, the first presidential inaugural address.
  291. 20:10This is at the stage for, as I mentioned, for presidents that followed him for things
  292. 20:15like his use of the Bible for the inauguration to include public prayer by the
  293. 20:20Adogary, as well as the employment of the phrase, so help me God.
  294. 20:26So that was something that was started on this day 237 years ago.
  295. 20:32I'm bringing this out to you and presenting this to you once again to show
  296. 20:38something that frankly evil forces have sought to strip from our country.
  297. 20:46But to show you that our country was forged, forged in acknowledgement of God of the Bible.
  298. 20:59Contrary to what many would have you believe, our history is replete with examples just like this.
  299. 21:05Alright, I mentioned this yesterday, but I didn't get to dig into it in more detail.
  300. 21:10detail. So I want to go back to Governor Abe Crombie and Fitch from the grounds that Mr.
  301. 21:26Riosa used to stump, but he's been delivered from foreign nations. It's now become a citizen
  302. 21:33of the United States of America. Prior to yesterday's ruling from the Supreme Court, the referendum
  303. 21:45we discussed here in the state of Virginia, which was, you know, with Governor Abercrombie
  304. 21:50said that, no, no, surely, surely, burr rabbit, we're not going to do any radical governing.
  305. 21:58Oh, no, no, no, no, I'm Governor Abercrombie. The motorist, I am motorist. I say, motorate
  306. 22:03this and I'm motorate all things until you inaugurate me. And so immediately she moves to
  307. 22:14implement a referendum that will completely change the electoral map in the state of Virginia
  308. 22:18that will cause 10 out of the 11 congressional districts to all be expected Democrat districts
  309. 22:25based upon how the districts were gerrymandered.
  310. 22:32There were two cases that were percolating in the state of Virginia prior to yesterday's
  311. 22:35Supreme Court ruling.
  312. 22:37And so I want to explain to you that, frankly, there are two lines of challenge that are,
  313. 22:44That is positioned to invalidate the referendum that was voted on in Virginia on April 21st.
  314. 22:50The first of them have to do with a case called Scott versus McDougal that was heard
  315. 22:55by the Virginia State Supreme Court.
  316. 23:00This is a case that initially brought before the Tayswell County Circuit Judge, Jack Hurley,
  317. 23:07Jr.
  318. 23:08All right.
  319. 23:09And then in that case, what was presented was an issue that would determine whether Virginia
  320. 23:14would ultimately adopt the gerrymandering map that would accomplish that governor abacrombie
  321. 23:19objective on april twenty first virginia voters passed the referendum but the very next
  322. 23:27day and then this is something that hasn't enjoyed widespread reporting but the very
  323. 23:32next day judge jack hurlie in the mcdukel case blocked certification of the results now i
  324. 23:45Bob, you're probably aware of this.
  325. 23:48Were you aware of that?
  326. 23:49That the very next day after the referendum,
  327. 23:52they had to go to the court to certify
  328. 23:54the results of the referendum.
  329. 23:55Judge Hurley blocked-
  330. 23:56I'm not sure what you said.
  331. 23:57Yeah.
  332. 23:58In the federal county.
  333. 23:59That's exactly right.
  334. 23:59Judge Hurley blocked certification
  335. 24:00of the results of the referendum,
  336. 24:02which caused regressives all over the Old Dominion State
  337. 24:05to pull their hair out.
  338. 24:09Judge Hurley ruled previously in January
  339. 24:14in the McNiggle case that the Constitution
  340. 24:17amendment that ended up on Virginians ballot on April 21st was an unlawful referendum. That
  341. 24:25it was an illegal referendum because it violated the process laws in the state of Virginia.
  342. 24:31He then declared on April 22nd the day after the day after the referendum was voted on in
  343. 24:38a related case. So you have the Scott versus MacNougall case, then you have a the Kosky
  344. 24:43versus Republican National Committee case challenging the referendum on different grounds.
  345. 24:48He rules in the Koski versus Republican National Committee case that the referendum is also
  346. 24:55illegal for three reasons.
  347. 24:57And he outlines these reasons.
  348. 24:58He says first that the referendum is illegal and therefore was an unconstitutional vote
  349. 25:04on April 21st because the Virginia General Assembly illegitimately usurped the powers
  350. 25:10of the Virginia Redistricting Commission.
  351. 25:13See the Virginia Redistricting Commission is the commission that is established legislatively
  352. 25:18by the lawmakers in Virginia to initiate redistricting processes, not the legislature
  353. 25:25unilaterally.
  354. 25:26See the way it works, the Virginia legislature had already passed laws creating the Virginia
  355. 25:33Redistricting Commission in an effort to try to lift it above board from being viewed as
  356. 25:38a partisan activity.
  357. 25:39That was the objective all along.
  358. 25:42And Judge Hurley says, so y'all just going to act like we don't know we have a redistricting
  359. 25:46commission in the state.
  360. 25:49So Governor Abraham, you're going to lie to the old Dominion voters.
  361. 25:53And then y'all going to act like that we don't have this commission that we already created
  362. 25:58by law, you got to talk on do?
  363. 26:01Not on my watch.
  364. 26:03The next basis is of objection from Judge Hurley.
  365. 26:05He said, quote, that the legislation that prompted the special election for the referendum
  366. 26:11violated the submission, timing and form laws, clauses of the Virginia Constitution.
  367. 26:18Thirdly, and any and all votes for or against the proposed constitutional amendment via the
  368. 26:27referendum on April 21, 2026, the special election are therefore ineffective.
  369. 26:35Now, that's not being reported as widely as the two not even living districts are proposed
  370. 26:42to go to the words of Democrats.
  371. 26:44Now all of that happened before, before the change announced yesterday about the Supreme
  372. 26:51Court as to how Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act will be interpreted and applied.
  373. 26:57So there are now two bases and it's funny, states all across the country, Tennessee,
  374. 27:03is discussing challenging the allocations of voting, frankly, I think all rest state
  375. 27:10governors should do so.
  376. 27:15They need to move quickly because this will,
  377. 27:17this will affect the midterm elections.
  378. 27:21And it comes back to what I was saying yesterday,
  379. 27:22we have to make a decision.
  380. 27:24What are we going to be?
  381. 27:25Are we going to be a nation that we are part
  382. 27:27of the forging forward of a more perfect union,
  383. 27:31that though we have horrendous portions of our nation's history,
  384. 27:34that we have grown beyond the daughters
  385. 27:37of our nation's history.
  386. 27:38And we say we want to grow beyond some of those dark portions
  387. 27:42of our history, but at the exact same time, we have people,
  388. 27:45So let's just be playing about it because there are people that benefit financially.
  389. 27:49There are people that benefit politically.
  390. 27:50There are people that are power hungry.
  391. 27:53And many of them are people who do not have a worldview where there is an eternity.
  392. 27:56So their view is whatever goodness and life that we're going to enjoy and by goodness they
  393. 28:01mean whatever benefits me, whatever makes me feel good, whatever makes me more wealthy,
  394. 28:04whatever it is me in a hedonistic pleasure pursuit, then that's what I want.
  395. 28:09So they want to go all in 100% on the Osteenan best life now.
  396. 28:19So the concept of a loss of political power to them is unfathomable in their desire for
  397. 28:27wielding power largely is for personal grandizement Nancy Pelosi following all of this getting back
  398. 28:39to Virginia.
  399. 28:41The judge granted the plaintiff's petition in the Koski case for a permanent injunction
  400. 28:47against certification of the referendum results from April 21st in Virginia.
  401. 28:54Following that, the Attorney General, J. Jones, you know, J.
  402. 28:58You know, just old J who fantasizes about killing people's children and desecrating their
  403. 29:05burial locations, all in the name of politics, of course.
  404. 29:10Because politicians don't really make the right choices until they've been actually injured.
  405. 29:15That's wild.
  406. 29:16And this dude is Attorney General of the State of Virginia.
  407. 29:17That's wild after Charlie Kirk was assassinated.
  408. 29:20wild, but Jay Jones on April 24 filed a motion for the emergency stay of Judge Hurley's ruling,
  409. 29:28saying that that April 21st referendum is illegal to which the court denied that stay.
  410. 29:38So that's one line of challenge.
  411. 29:42The additional line of challenge will follow the Supreme Court's ruling in Louisiana versus
  412. 29:48Calay that was released yesterday.
  413. 29:50And I wanted to bring you up to speed on that because there are some people, and I even
  414. 29:54know some people who live in Virginia saying, man, we got to get out of Virginia because
  415. 29:58if this goes down with these remade districts and guys, these things have real time consequences.
  416. 30:06Because let me give you an example.
  417. 30:08I told you guys that I'm born and raised in New Orleans.
  418. 30:11My entire lifetime, there's never been a candidate from mayor who was anything other than the
  419. 30:14Democrat.
  420. 30:17But as I'm talking to you, my hometown doesn't have a mall in all these parish proper.
  421. 30:23And Louisiana, their parish is where all other states have counties.
  422. 30:27There's not a mall in the entire parish.
  423. 30:30Now what?
  424. 30:33The uni party local government between the mayor and the city council, they tax the local
  425. 30:42population overwhelmingly.
  426. 30:44live day that you know, they know as well as I know, the property tax is sky high, the
  427. 30:49insurance rates are sky high, all these rates are sky high, people move to the suburbs outside
  428. 30:54of Orleans, property gas, what happens?
  429. 30:56Rates come down, taxes come down.
  430. 30:57So what do you think happens with the population that has the ability to move outside of Orleans
  431. 31:01property?
  432. 31:02What do you think happens?
  433. 31:07It's the same story all over the country, all over the country.
  434. 31:11Because when you have regressive ideology governing the local instruments of government,
  435. 31:18real consequences. If you have this redistricting phenomenon that presents the possibility that
  436. 31:25there is not a district in Virginia or if there's just one district in Virginia where
  437. 31:30people have the type of policies that would allow them to live successfully, it's going
  438. 31:36to impact them. And then you add that into the fact that Governor Abraham would be signed
  439. 31:43on to the National Popular Vote Compact to where she literally is pledging, really, really
  440. 31:48matter what Virginians want. If the majority of the rest of the United States of America
  441. 31:53votes for another presidential candidate, that's who our electoral college votes are going to
  442. 31:57go to. That's just insane. That is just insane. But that's what's happening. So I wanted to
  443. 32:05share that because that, that, those are separate tracks that were happening independent of one
  444. 32:11another. And it's easy to get that lost in the shuffle. And because of where Virginia stands
  445. 32:17in the fallout of what happens and what states win, it's odd number, year elections.
  446. 32:23It tends to set the tone, set a tone, I should say, for what happens thereafter.
  447. 32:29So just wanted to share that information with you.
  448. 32:32When we come back, we'll dig into a little bit of the insanity in Vermont, but thankfully,
  449. 32:40the mid-Vermant Christian school got some relief after being frankly persecuted to a degree
  450. 32:48by their own state government.
  451. 32:49We'll get to that when we come back from this break.

  463. 33:30How can you be fully dedicated to Christ,
  464. 33:33but be unwilling to identify with His people?
  465. 33:37Is it even an option for Christians
  466. 33:39not to be part of a local church?
  467. 33:41Consider that with John MacArthur
  468. 33:43as he helps you put your commitment
  469. 33:45to the church, to the test.

  472. 34:04Hamilton Quarter podcast and one-minute common terrets are available at
  473. 34:08aFR.net back to the Hamilton Quarter on American Family Radio.
  474. 34:13Welcome back to the Hamilton Corner, Abraham Hamilton the third here. This is
  475. 34:18another case that I had in my stack yesterday another story but I ran out of
  476. 34:24time before I ran out of show. This case has to do with the Mid-Vermont
  477. 34:29Christian school and it dates back to 2023. And what happened there is that the
  478. 34:35Midvern Mount Christian school girls, varsity basketball team, and made it to
  479. 34:41the playoffs, and they were scheduled to play against the team that had a boy on
  480. 34:45the team who was calling himself a girl. So the coach met with the players, the
  481. 34:52players' parents, the Christian schools administration, and we're talking about
  482. 34:56small Christian school, they have 111 students, you know, in their school. All right. And they
  483. 35:04decided, man, this is a violation of our faith to affirm that this boy is a girl. This boy
  484. 35:10should not be playing girls basketball. This boy needs help. This boy needs ministry. This boy
  485. 35:15needs counseling. What this boy does not need is to have us as a Christian school in our state
  486. 35:22to affirm his delusion. And so they made the decision soberly and deliberately, I mean,
  487. 35:28at the time in 2023, there were seniors on their team that dedicated themselves the whole season.
  488. 35:34They were trying to win a state championship. But instead of pursuing that, even the seniors
  489. 35:39agreed it was a unanimous decision that now this, this boy's soul, frankly, and truth are more important
  490. 35:48than our pursuit of our athletic goal here. So they declined to play and they forfeited the game.
  491. 35:58Well, the state of Vermont did not take too kindly to the Christian school's decision,
  492. 36:05and they ramped it up led by the Vermont Principles Association. They said, oh, oh, oh, so y'all don't
  493. 36:11want to play, huh? All right. Cool. Then your school will be prohibited from participating in any
  494. 36:18scholastic activity in the state, and any sports activity in the state, which included
  495. 36:27prohibitions on the school participating in the state's spelling bee and other events in
  496. 36:35its entirety.
  497. 36:39That reprisal by the city of Vermont led to the Christian school getting legal representation,
  498. 36:45our friends at the Alliance of Fending Freedom took up their case.
  499. 36:50the lawsuit against them, the lawsuit went to the district court, went through the processes
  500. 36:55there, took years in litigation.
  501. 36:59The case went all the way up to the federal appellate court, I believe the second circuit
  502. 37:05court of appeals.
  503. 37:07In the second circuit court of appeals, slap down the Virginia principles association and
  504. 37:15the governmental agencies that basically sought to take
  505. 37:21retribution against the Christian school for having the audacity
  506. 37:25to stand on their school statement of faith in the
  507. 37:28Santa want the Bible teaches about identity and human sexuality.
  508. 37:32In the course of litigation, the state said to Vermont
  509. 37:36admit the Mivermont Christian school that your beliefs are
  510. 37:40wrong, your beliefs are wrong.
  511. 37:43How do you fix your mouth to tell these people what they believe is wrong?
  512. 37:47The state government is going to tell the private Christian school that your beliefs are wrong,
  513. 37:52threatening them by saying things like you're on the wrong side of history.
  514. 37:56What all of that got to do with the First Amendment?
  515. 37:59What does that have to do with the First Amendment?
  516. 38:02Well, Mitt Vermont Christian School finally got some vindication because the Second Circuit Court of Appeals said,
  517. 38:10On the state of Vermont, you are violating the United States Constitution in particular,
  518. 38:14the First Amendment, and then instructed for the case to be sent back down to the district
  519. 38:19court level to re-initiate hearings there.
  520. 38:24Following that instruction from the Second Circuit Court of Appeal, the state of Vermont
  521. 38:28cried, Uncle, or if you want to use your jiu-jitsu reference, they tapped and entered into a
  522. 38:35$56,000 settlement with mid-Vermont Christian School.
  523. 38:40Listen to and watch clip number five that is discussing this case clip number five.
  524. 38:47Go.
  525. 38:48It has been three years since the girls basketball team here at the Mid-Vermont Christian School
  526. 38:52forfeited a playoff game against the team that had a transgender student in the lineup.
  527. 38:58The incident made national headlines and now a settlement in the case.
  528. 39:02So this settlement is a giant win not only for the First Amendment, but obviously for the school itself.
  529. 39:08That's according to senior counsel for the mid-Vermot Christian School.
  530. 39:12The school filed a lawsuit against the Vermont Principles Association in 2023,
  531. 39:17after all of its teams were barred indefinitely from competition and athletic tournaments conducted by the Vermont Principles Association.
  532. 39:24The heavy-handed penalty came after the girls basketball team boycotted a game against the team with a trans player.
  533. 39:31The VPA claimed the school's actions violated the state's anti-discrimination policy,
  534. 39:36but mid-Vermot teams were once again allowed to compete this season after a federal appeals court
  535. 39:41issued an injunction against the VPA late last year. This week, the VPA agreed to pay out more than
  536. 39:47a half million dollars in damages and attorneys fees and promised similar bans would not take place
  537. 39:53in the future, according to the Alliance Defending Freedom.
  538. 39:55religious schools and families shouldn't be punished merely for engaging in their
  539. 40:00religious beliefs and religious exercise and we appreciate the VPA for actually
  540. 40:04coming to this conclusion and agreeing to settle the case. Now you see this
  541. 40:11happening all over the country and I just want to remind people that what is
  542. 40:17what is the prevailing understanding in our country actually is a misunderstanding
  543. 40:20because you'll hear people say over and over again well the United States of
  544. 40:24America, there's a separation between church and state.
  545. 40:27Those eight words, separation of church and state, do not mean what people are utilizing
  546. 40:31it to mean, using, utilizing them to mean.
  547. 40:35Those eight words are stripped, kicking and screaming out of their context from a letter
  548. 40:40that was written by Thomas Jefferson to a bunch of Christians in Danbury, Connecticut,
  549. 40:47in the late 18th century, as the U.S. Constitution was being debated, was drafted and debated,
  550. 40:54and then ultimately ratified, because there were Christians in
  551. 40:57the Emperor of Connecticut that were concerned because of what
  552. 41:00had just, they just experienced under King George that whatever
  553. 41:04the monarch's faith was, that was the determined faith for everybody
  554. 41:07within the Commonwealth.
  555. 41:09And they wanted to make sure that that is not the scenario here
  556. 41:12in the United States of America.
  557. 41:13And in response, Thomas Jefferson articulated this full
  558. 41:17explanation that no, no, no, no, no, that is not the case here.
  559. 41:20That is not something you need to be worried about here.
  560. 41:22In the United States of America, there is a wall of separation
  561. 41:25has been erected between the church and the state, that wall of separation is a wall that
  562. 41:30is meant to keep the state out of the church. It's a wall that is meant to keep Vermont from
  563. 41:38telling Christians in Vermont that their beliefs are wrong. That wall is a one-way wall. It does
  564. 41:44not work in the opposite direction. The church has a lawful authority to participate in government,
  565. 41:51to be exercised within everyday life, and to even tell the government this is what we were
  566. 41:57This is what the word of God says, you are violating God's word.
  567. 42:00This is why from the very formation of our nation, there's been paid chaplains and curvers.
  568. 42:08This is why whenever these cases occur and when suits are filed and when they make their
  569. 42:14way through the legal system, they always come out like this.
  570. 42:20There was a time previously when that didn't happen because you had justices at the Supreme
  571. 42:25Court, for example, that misunderstood that.
  572. 42:29In the late 18th century, Danbury Baptist phrase,
  573. 42:32separation of church, the wall of,
  574. 42:34has been erected to separate the church from the state,
  575. 42:37was never quoted out of context until 1947,
  576. 42:39in the case called Ingo versus Vital.
  577. 42:43Where in that case, you had one judge who recognized
  578. 42:47that American people have become kind of ignorant of history,
  579. 42:50don't really read too much anymore.
  580. 42:52So now we can strip this phrase out of context
  581. 42:54to make it do something that it doesn't do.
  582. 43:00So there are a couple things
  583. 43:01that should be takeaways from this story.
  584. 43:02First and foremost, if you experience some type of persecution or trampling of your constitutional
  585. 43:07rights in your own lives, don't roll over.
  586. 43:10Fight.
  587. 43:11Fight.
  588. 43:13Mivermont struggled at the lower courts.
  589. 43:18They lost, but they kept fighting.
  590. 43:20And they go to the second circuit where they're ultimately vindicated.
  591. 43:25Now there's a real cost.
  592. 43:26Like I mentioned, in 2023, you had seniors who couldn't play.
  593. 43:28From 2023 and 2024 you had the entire school that was banned from
  594. 43:35participating in
  595. 43:37competitions not just athletic events
  596. 43:40Because they're standing on guys were
  597. 43:442025 much of the year still couldn't participate until you had an injunction reversing the things in Vermont
  598. 43:49But beyond that beyond that guys we we
  599. 43:57Must work
  600. 43:59So that we have people in positions throughout our society
  601. 44:02society who understand ordered liberty, who have a worldview that is conducive to our governmental
  602. 44:09exercise in self-government, as John Adams rightly pointed out, that our Constitution is
  603. 44:16only, only as efficacy for religious and moral people.
  604. 44:20And it's entirely inadequate for the governance of any other.
  605. 44:25This is why you see so many people and so many forces in our country trying to fundamentally
  606. 44:29transform the United States of America.
  607. 44:31They don't want godly government.
  608. 44:37Now we have an opportunity to engage.
  609. 44:39We have a say so about that.
  610. 44:41And it's not a compulsion phenomenon.
  611. 44:44It is reasoning and appealing to our fellow citizens
  612. 44:52and countrymen.
  613. 44:56I'm encouraged by the results of the legal case,
  614. 44:59but we should not stop at a legal case.
  615. 45:06We should seek to be a part of the formation
  616. 45:09of the more perfect union.
  617. 45:10And that is not limited to some type
  618. 45:12of governmental construct that applies to the corpus
  619. 45:16of our nation, our fellow citizens.
  620. 45:18What type of people make up our nation?
  621. 45:24What type of nation do we wanna be?
  622. 45:28Just like the conversation we were having about,
  623. 45:31Louisiana versus Calate case.
  624. 45:33That was the opinion was released yesterday.
  625. 45:36And you wanna talk about the time for choosing.
  626. 45:38I wanna give a little bit of warning
  627. 45:39cause I'm gonna show some pictures.
  628. 45:41If you're watching the show, if you're a minor,
  629. 45:43you're a child, I'm gonna ask you to step away
  630. 45:45I'm going to show some pictures during this show that if I was a parent, I would appreciate,
  631. 45:50well, I am a parent.
  632. 45:52If I was listening to the show, I would appreciate having a warning and I want my children to step
  633. 45:56away and not watch this without my awareness, without my oversight before they would see
  634. 45:58something like this.
  635. 46:00But I want you to see this because sometimes we need to be jilted into reality because
  636. 46:07this is what we're facing.
  637. 46:08And what am I talking about?
  638. 46:10a dude who was a science professor at the University of Oxford, you know, pinkies out,
  639. 46:15in England, in Oxford, this all still refined, prestigious institution of Hoya, learning,
  640. 46:26you know, not a quality leering center, but an institution of higher learning.
  641. 46:31They have a professor by the name of Matt Ratley.
  642. 46:34He's a lecturer in biochemistry at Oxford's St. Hilda's College.
  643. 46:39But there's just one issue though.
  644. 46:41Oh boy, Matt Ratley is a ball headed, big bearded dude who likes to wear fake prosthetic
  645. 46:48breasts while he's teaching.
  646. 46:52He's wearing them for class, y'all.
  647. 46:53He's wearing them for class.
  648. 46:54They are colleagues at Oxford who are disturbed by the presentation, but nobody will say
  649. 47:00nothing to them though, that's the thing.
  650. 47:02Because Matt Ratley has taken the disposition of who's going to check Mee-boo.
  651. 47:08You see, we didn't, we didn't,
  652. 47:10filleted freedom and faith and clarity and truth
  653. 47:15and England so sufficiently,
  654. 47:18well, you can have such a grotesque display
  655. 47:21that, that other professors are saying,
  656. 47:23like Professor Michael Biggs,
  657. 47:25that many of the women, professors and students
  658. 47:27at the university are quite uncomfortable
  659. 47:29with Professor Ratley's display,
  660. 47:31but nobody will say anything to him.
  661. 47:34All right.
  662. 47:36Now again, children, if they're children, please step away.
  663. 47:39Step away from the screen, step away from the television,
  664. 47:42step away from the show, and ask your parents
  665. 47:45if you can watch this, all right?
  666. 47:48I wanna give you a few moments to do so.
  667. 47:51Because now I wanna show the pictures, Jeff,
  668. 47:53because a picture's worth a thousand words.
  669. 47:58What I'm about to show you on the screen is Matt Ratley,
  670. 48:01the way he dresses for class.
  671. 48:03This is how he goes to class, y'all.
  672. 48:06This is how he goes to class.
  673. 48:08Ball head, dude.
  674. 48:10Big beard, think duck dynasty,
  675. 48:11for those who are listening on the radio and you are listening on the podcast.
  676. 48:17So, doodles ball.
  677. 48:18So, he don't have frequent barbershop appointments like Jeff in big duck dynasty beer and lipstick,
  678. 48:27but he's also wearing these very large oversized prosthetic fake breasts.
  679. 48:33And this is how he goes to class.
  680. 48:36This is how he conducts lectures.
  681. 48:38He's saying he wants to live in his full person himself.
  682. 48:41And my question is, what are you going to do about it, Oxford?
  683. 48:46Because this is a time for choosing.
  684. 48:49And I'm presenting this because clearly this is in England.
  685. 48:53But the same things are happening here.
  686. 48:54Remember on Resurrection Sunday morning when Mr. Ice
  687. 48:58Creme Man was still president?
  688. 49:00And instead of acknowledging with reverence the resurrection of the King of Glory, you
  689. 49:05have what?
  690. 49:06Trans day of visibility.
  691. 49:08Huh.
  692. 49:13What kind of people will we be?
  693. 49:16What kind of people do we want to be?
  694. 49:18And that's at an institution of higher learning.
  695. 49:23We've learned so highly, we have no idea what a man is or what a woman is.
  696. 49:31Good as being called evil.
  697. 49:34And evil is being called good.
