  1. 0:01In Matthew 22, 37 through 40, Jesus said,
  2. 0:05love the Lord your God with all your heart
  3. 0:07and with all your soul and all your mind.
  4. 0:09This is the first and greatest commandment.
  5. 0:12And the second is like it.
  6. 0:13Love your neighbor as yourself.
  7. 0:15All the law and the prophets hang on these two commandments.
  8. 0:18It's Sharathon on American Family Radio.
  9. 0:23Call now, 877-616-2396.
  10. 0:28That's 877-616-2396.

  12. 0:35Make your pledge and help us love God and love people during Shareathon.
  13. 0:40Good evening, everyone.
  14. 1:01Welcome to this day three spring, 2026 Shareathon edition of the Hamilton Corner.
  15. 1:08I'm the host of the program joined by the corner contingent right across from me, my
  16. 1:11man, a hundred grand, Mr. Bobby, a rosau, if you've seen him in the studio, if you're watching
  17. 1:17the show, you might call him Kango Slim.
  18. 1:19All my New Orleans people know he can't pump the party.
  19. 1:26And in the screening room, produce extraordinaire often imitated, never duplicated the real J Mac
  20. 1:31ladies and gentlemen.
  21. 1:32And we are ready to rock and roll with today's edition of the program.
  22. 1:35Let me say on the outset, there's some who are tuning in now.
  23. 1:38You've been hearing, share-a-thon conversations all week.
  24. 1:41been saying that man yeah I got to do that I want to do that well now is your time
  25. 1:44this is your last opportunity to do so this spring the number to call and make
  26. 1:49your gift to make your pledge is 877-616-2396 the number to call is 877-616-2396
  27. 2:01or you can give securely online and a fr.net that is a fr.net this is the place
  28. 2:10where your contributions, in my estimation, they can go the furthest.
  29. 2:19When you consider the breadth and the scope of what God is doing here, this is one of the
  30. 2:23places that it is good soil to invest in.
  31. 2:27In addition to the work that we're doing here, the partnerships we have all across the country,
  32. 2:32this is a time when God will have his people to refuse, to retreat from the darkness that
  33. 2:39as prevalent, but that we would stand and put the light on the lampstand as the scripture
  34. 2:44calls us to at this very moment.
  35. 2:47Many of you, if not most of you are making your transition from your part time jobs where
  36. 2:51you generate and generate an income to your full time jobs where you cultivate an outcome.
  37. 2:57And as you do so, I want to remind you to do so with intentionality, understanding the
  38. 3:03primacy that God places on family and understanding the privilege that we have and the opportunities
  39. 3:07to be something like on this side of eternity responding to our Lord's command to execute
  40. 3:14His commission.
  41. 3:15This is what we get the opportunity to do when we see things that are transpiring in our country.
  42. 3:21We must never forget that the family is God's primary institution for establishing His Kingdom
  43. 3:28generationally passing it from one generation through the next.
  44. 3:32The family is the most strident institution involved in that execution.
  45. 3:37And we seek to continue to fortify families.
  46. 3:42I was on in a previous hour and I didn't even know that this was going to be stated in the
  47. 3:46listener testimony because I hear them for the first time on the air.
  48. 3:50The production staff has heard them before, but I have not.
  49. 3:53So I'm reacting often to them immediately upon hearing them for the first time.
  50. 3:56And there was a man who was sharing how God has used this network to shape and to sharpen his
  51. 4:02worldview, to sharpen his wife's worldview, and to sharpen his children's worldview through
  52. 4:07the things that are offered.
  53. 4:09He referred to AFR as a teaching tool, as a teaching tool.
  54. 4:14And that's something that really, really resonated with me upon hearing that testimony.
  55. 4:18So when you call 8-776-626-2396, you're investing in a teaching tool that aids in the sharpening
  56. 4:27the cultivation of a biblical worldview that we will continue to convey the truth of God's
  57. 4:32word, we will continue to articulate how God's word should apply to the issues of the day.
  58. 4:39That is something that I am passionately committing to doing.
  59. 4:44So that is what you're supporting when you call 877-616-2396-877616-2396 is the number
  60. 4:53to call or you can give securely online at afr.net, afr.net.
  61. 4:59Now speaking of the scripture to the word of God we go, Colossians chapter 2, this is
  62. 5:05something I've been meditating on personally for quite some time.
  63. 5:08We had our men's Bible study last night and one of our brothers ministers so powerfully.
  64. 5:12If you listen to Sam, I'm talking to you brother.
  65. 5:14I'm still chewing on what you shared.
  66. 5:17And what in this specific text,
  67. 5:19but it is, it does relate to this text.
  68. 5:21Colossians chapter two, verses one through three.
  69. 5:26And this is what the Lord says to us through his word.
  70. 5:30For I want you to know how great a struggle I have
  71. 5:33on your behalf and for those who are at Laodicea.
  72. 5:36And for all those who have not personally seen my face,
  73. 5:39as many of you know this is Apostle Paul,
  74. 5:41writing to the church at Colossae.
  75. 5:44All right?
  76. 5:45To all of those who have not personally seen my face,
  77. 5:47that their hearts may be encouraged
  78. 5:50having been knit together in love,
  79. 5:52attaining to all the wealth that comes
  80. 5:57from the full assurance of understanding,
  81. 6:01resulting in the true knowledge of God's mystery,
  82. 6:05that is Christ himself in whom
  83. 6:09are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
  84. 6:15The thing that I hope to convey,
  85. 6:17actually to you from this text,
  86. 6:19is that the Apostle Paul is rightly conveying
  87. 6:22to the church at Colossae at this particular time,
  88. 6:25and for the body of Christ in mass,
  89. 6:31that the fulcrum of true wealth, hmm,
  90. 6:37the repository for all the treasures of wisdom
  91. 6:40and knowledge is Jesus Christ, is Jesus Christ.
  92. 6:47Understanding that will aid us in living lives
  93. 6:50of full surrender.
  94. 6:53If we behold our King, the way he is to be held,
  95. 6:58there is no room for passive,
  96. 7:04stargazing Christianity,
  97. 7:07that having an appropriate view of who he is,
  98. 7:10moves us to live lives responsive to that reality.
  99. 7:15The whole concept of being so heavenly-minded
  100. 7:18that you're no earthly good is actually an oxymoron.
  101. 7:21Because when we are truly heavenly-minded,
  102. 7:23when we love our Lord the way that we say we love our Lord,
  103. 7:26man, we'll live like that.
  104. 7:28We'll love His calling for us
  105. 7:31with the same type of commitment and passion.
  106. 7:34We'll understand that heaven is our home
  107. 7:37because we have this blessed and eternal hope
  108. 7:40that it gives significance and meaning and amplifies the reality of what this time stamp
  109. 7:49in our created experience represents.
  110. 7:54There are no mulligans, no do-overs.
  111. 7:59This is not all that we have to offer, but this time is vitally, vitally, vitally important.
  112. 8:05That we need people, because as you've heard me say on this show, darkness is not an affirmative
  113. 8:11force in merely reoccupies this space that is vacated by the light.
  114. 8:15And for too long professing Christians in our country, we have vacated sphere after sphere
  115. 8:21after sphere.
  116. 8:22We vacated lane after lane after lane and then many stand on the sidelines and just complain
  117. 8:28about the darkness and the advancement of darkness.
  118. 8:32Not recognizing that God is ordained us for such a time as this.
  119. 8:36We need people because of our love for the Lord in recognizing at all of the treasures
  120. 8:41of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in him, that he animates. Last hour I was talking about
  121. 8:46Alex McFarland about C.S. Lewis and how he was such a prolific writer. We need godly men
  122. 8:52and women who will use their gifts of writing and articulation and storytelling and creativity
  123. 8:58to convey transcendent enduring truths. We can talk about it, not talk about Hellywood often,
  124. 9:07but how long will we merely just curse the darkness instead of offering what is saturated
  125. 9:13by the light. We need Godly financiers. We talk about the shucks, the ones that are getting
  126. 9:21wealthy. Well, we need more David Bonson's. We need it. And so that is one of the things
  127. 9:31that we cry out for here through American family radio. This is one of the things that when you
  128. 9:38give during Charithon, you support the work that God is doing through us. You help fortify
  129. 9:42supply line that speaks to all those various areas.
  130. 9:47One of the things that immediately comes to my mind is American Family Studios, in the
  131. 9:51award-winning documentaries that are produced through American Family Studios.
  132. 9:54How it's not only about entertainment, even though it must be excellent in attention captivating,
  133. 10:00but there are award-winning resources like the In His Image documentary.
  134. 10:04That is a tool for the church to respond to the trans insanity.
  135. 10:11I am convinced that that type of clarity helps us get the child's versus Salazar decision.
  136. 10:16Let's say, hey, if you have a minor that same sex attracted and or that is confused about
  137. 10:23their identity, do they really know what they're talking about?
  138. 10:27One of the things that I appreciated from the Inazimics documentary is that it explains
  139. 10:31the scientific procedures that are involved in phthalioplasty and vagioplasty.
  140. 10:37Do you realize what is actually happening?
  141. 10:40people don't and did not until they saw that film.
  142. 10:45And so if you sense the urgency and the passion that I have in my heart and those who listen
  143. 10:50to the show on a regular basis like, hey, we know that's you.
  144. 10:53This is true.
  145. 10:54That is, that is who I am.
  146. 10:56But there is a sense of urgency because time is of the essence, man.
  147. 11:01I feel like David, when he showed up hearing the, hearing the, the, the taunting voice of
  148. 11:06that uncircumcised Philistine and that's the King James Henderson, is there not a cause?
  149. 11:12I'm sick and tired of generation after generation of American children growing up into church
  150. 11:17attending homes only to abandon any semblance of Christ following once they get any modicum
  151. 11:21of independence.
  152. 11:22I'm sick of that.
  153. 11:24I'm tired of that being such a consistently experienced phenomenon.
  154. 11:28I'm tired of it.
  155. 11:31I'm tired of having in God we trust on our legal tender, on our Federal Reserve notes, but
  156. 11:37our society looks like everything but in God we trust.
  157. 11:40And I'm not talking about some therapeutic moralism or anything of that nature.
  158. 11:47I'm talking about the reality that the most enduring need that we have in our nation is
  159. 11:50repentance.
  160. 11:52And we need voices that are willing to stand boldly, to cry aloud and spare not.
  161. 12:01And I'm grateful to be able to when I'm not on the air to turn on and hear voices that are
  162. 12:04willing to proclaim the truth and stand boldly and articulate these things.
  163. 12:12So that's why I have no real hesitation about inviting you to call and to participate in
  164. 12:17they share it on 8, 7, 7, 6, 1, 6, 2, 3, 9, 6 is the number to call because the message
  165. 12:23that in Christ is hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge is a message that's
  166. 12:27necessary for this society.
  167. 12:30I alluded to this before.
  168. 12:31I'm going to share a story later on if we're able to get to it that with all of the Americans
  169. 12:37united for the separation of church and state and all of these outfits that want to say,
  170. 12:40well, you can't use the public school classroom for proselytizing.
  171. 12:44I say, well, well, according to the John Overton High School
  172. 12:49in South Nashville, you can have space reserved on campus
  173. 12:55during the school day to allow for high school students,
  174. 12:59high school Muslim students to pray during Ramadan, Ramadan,
  175. 13:03every day.
  176. 13:04Now, the good news Bible clubs, truth for youth,
  177. 13:07Bible, the challenge that we have during here,
  178. 13:10the stuff that's done through truth for youth,
  179. 13:12they have to do it before school or after school.
  180. 13:14They can't do it during the school time,
  181. 13:17but if you're a Muslim, John, over to high school
  182. 13:20in South Nashville says, oh no, you can pray during school.
  183. 13:23You can actually get out of class, get a hall pass.
  184. 13:26To go down to these reserved rooms,
  185. 13:2810 teachers have empty their classrooms,
  186. 13:30so it can be a Ramadan prayer room.
  187. 13:33Do you hear what I'm telling you?
  188. 13:34In the middle of the school day.
  189. 13:38Where all of the ACLU's, where all these people now?
  190. 13:42It's almost like the whole separation
  191. 13:44of church and state thing,
  192. 13:45really mean separation of Christianity in state thing. You put a crescent or a
  193. 13:50sickle on it. Hey, have at it. And oh, by the way, if you thought it was just
  194. 13:53Ramadan, it ain't. It's not because they also have the reserved space for one day
  195. 13:58a month during the rest of the school year. That's not Ramadan. Let them take
  196. 14:04napkins out of the cafeteria to put down for prayer rugs in the middle of a
  197. 14:08school day. Guys, I'm not kidding. You want to see the link? This is happening
  198. 14:15right now, right now.
  199. 14:18And that's why I'm telling you,
  200. 14:21supporting the work that we're doing,
  201. 14:22being a participant and not only giving,
  202. 14:25but standing up in your own communities, man.
  203. 14:27Because enough is enough.
  204. 14:29We're talking about the 12 worst Shiites in Iran.
  205. 14:32Well, guess what?
  206. 14:33There are a lot of those people who live right here
  207. 14:37and they're waiting with baited breath
  208. 14:39for just enough of the American citizens,
  209. 14:43most of which, many of which are professing Christians
  210. 14:46Two, a little sleep, a little slumber,
  211. 14:49a little folding of the hands to rest.
  212. 14:52But don't let it happen.
  213. 14:53877-616-2396.
  214. 14:59American Family Association founder, Don Wildman,
  215. 15:02saw signs of the times long ago.
  216. 15:05At the turn of the century, he wrote these words,
  217. 15:08which ring even more true today.
  218. 15:11A dark cloud has descended on America.
  219. 15:15This cloud has left us unable to tell right from wrong.
  220. 15:19In pursuit of what is called politically correct,
  221. 15:22tolerant and diverse, we have not only permitted,
  222. 15:25but promoted a way of life that should we continue
  223. 15:29to follow it will ultimately destroy
  224. 15:31this grand experiment we call America.
  225. 15:35There is a way to live this cloud of darkness,
  226. 15:38a light to show the way.
  227. 15:40Jesus said, I am the light of the world.
  228. 15:43Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.
  229. 15:50We need to do the best we can to follow that light and share him with others.
  230. 15:55A reminder from the American Family Association.
  231. 15:58Hi, this is Donna in Spring, Texas.
  232. 16:02And I came to Texas in 2019.
  233. 16:06Look, I got here as soon as I could.
  234. 16:10But when I got here, I discovered AFR and man, I'm telling you, I thank God every day.
  235. 16:18And I'm in the car a lot of days, a lot of times, and that is where my station is fixed.
  236. 16:26You have been such a staple in my life and I thank God for you.
  237. 16:49Welcome back.
  238. 17:15Day three.
  239. 17:16Spring twenty six.
  240. 17:17Shareth on edition of the Hamilton Corner.
  241. 17:20Abraham Hamilton the third is my name.
  242. 17:23God is good.
  243. 17:25God is good.
  244. 17:26The number to call if you're listening,
  245. 17:28you've been wanting to give,
  246. 17:29the entire week couldn't get to it.
  247. 17:30Well, you still have a few moments where you can get in.
  248. 17:32877-616-2396 is the number to call.
  249. 17:38877-616-2396 is the number to call,
  250. 17:41or you can give securely online at aFR.net.
  251. 17:45That is aFR.net.
  252. 17:47If you're watching the show,
  253. 17:48you already know that I'm honored
  254. 17:49to be joined in studio by executive vice president of the American Family Association
  255. 17:57and other the mister Ed Vatagliano who may or may not have made an appearance in my training
  256. 18:02for air far concerning illegalities with the pseudonym of Fred Schmetagliano.
  257. 18:08Schmetagliano.
  258. 18:09Maybe.
  259. 18:10I don't know.
  260. 18:11I can't either confirm or deny.
  261. 18:14But Ed, thank you so much for joining me here in studio.
  262. 18:17Absolutely.
  263. 18:18has amazingly utilized our supporters and listeners
  264. 18:22to respond to the call during this marathon.
  265. 18:25As we're seated here, there have been over 16,500 pledges made,
  266. 18:30over $4 million donated.
  267. 18:32Already.
  268. 18:33And that is what we look for when we have a share of thong
  269. 18:37is to try to hit that number and our listeners,
  270. 18:41our supporters have come through once again.
  271. 18:45So we're thrilled.
  272. 18:4516, over 16,000 people have said we're going to be, we're able to stand with you.
  273. 18:51We know there's a lot of people who might not be able to.
  274. 18:54Sure.
  275. 18:55And so for those folks we say please continue to pray for us.
  276. 18:57Amen.
  277. 18:58You know, do anything you can.
  278. 19:01Share the app with people with friends, tell people about American Family Radio, whatever
  279. 19:07you can do to help get the gospel out and the message of the truth of God in his word.
  280. 19:13Amen.
  281. 19:14Before you came into the studio, I was discussing, and actually I didn't intend to talk about
  282. 19:17it in the first segment, but it's a story that so stirred my heart because for the longest
  283. 19:23time, and as an attorney I've helped people advise people with policies concerning school
  284. 19:29and things of that nature.
  285. 19:30When you had Christian student led Bible clubs and things of that nature, they would have
  286. 19:34to meet before school or after school.
  287. 19:38They could not conflict with instructional hours.
  288. 19:42But then we get this story out of Nashville, Tennessee, where the John Overton High School
  289. 19:46in South Nashville is making school day accommodations for Muslim students to participate in Ramadan,
  290. 19:54to where you have instructional time and classrooms are being segregated for this express purpose,
  291. 20:02and not only doing Ramadan, but even during the rest of the school year that Muslim students
  292. 20:07have the opportunity to leave class in the middle of the day once a month to go on campus
  293. 20:11to another location in the school to spend time in prayer according to their Islamic traditions,
  294. 20:20but Christian students have not been afforded that. When you hear about those kinds of stories
  295. 20:23and considering the fight that we've been in for so long, what strikes you about that
  296. 20:28story?
  297. 20:29You know what strikes me about this, I wrote an article probably ten years ago, maybe a
  298. 20:38little longer. It was about Europe and it was about the inflow of Muslim immigrants to Europe.
  299. 20:46And the focus of the story that I wrote for the magazine was that Europe has been on this long-term
  300. 20:55trajectory of turning away from God, from a bailing against its own Christian heritage,
  301. 21:02rejecting its own Christian heritage and claiming that they wanted a secular civilization on
  302. 21:11the continent.
  303. 21:13My thought was, a bit of a prediction, but I was quoting people who knew, what they're
  304. 21:20going to wind up getting is we don't want the God of Scripture, we don't want Jesus,
  305. 21:27we don't want our Christian heritage, what they're going to wind up getting was Islamic
  306. 21:31Sharia law as God's judgment, chastisement hopefully, not judgment under destruction
  307. 21:38instead of Jesus. You know what Jesus, no one goes without religion for very long, you're
  308. 21:44going to wind up with Islam. And I'm thinking the same thing about this. Public schools,
  309. 21:50colleges and universities have been in a reject Christ mode for decades and decades. And
  310. 21:59We can talk about why that is, but what they're doing instead is submitting voluntarily to
  311. 22:06Islam.
  312. 22:07I just, it's hard to, it's hard to figure why Christianity is the bad guy and Islam
  313. 22:16is somebody we can support.
  314. 22:20I'm not sure there's probably explanations for that.
  315. 22:23Christianity is the competitor ideology, if we can use that term, and they just are going
  316. 22:30to fight against Christian ideas and Christian inclusion. And Islam, they don't think as much
  317. 22:36of a threat, but this is, to me, this is abhorrent. If you're going to say no to Christians,
  318. 22:43and you're going to make Christians have to jump through hoops to try to express their
  319. 22:48faith and then are these young, are these students allowed to pray five times a day?
  320. 22:53Or whatever that is?
  321. 22:54Not five times, there's a dedicated time in the middle of the school day to satisfy one
  322. 22:59of the prayer times.
  323. 23:01But that is one of the major points that they're setting aside instructional time as well as
  324. 23:10school grounds, classrooms, their entire classrooms dedicated to it.
  325. 23:15And also classrooms being made available to students to go to during lunchtime so they
  326. 23:20don't have to be around food during their time.
  327. 23:23And then there's a clip I have, I don't know if we'll get to it from Minnesota to where
  328. 23:27there are new food services that won't, that will give the food to the fasting students
  329. 23:33at the end of the day so that they can take home, making all of these accommodations, school
  330. 23:37day accommodations.
  331. 23:38Is this Nashville school, the one that has separated the food so that the fasting students don't
  332. 23:44have to look at it. It's bizarre. Well, it's accommodating and it is subjugating. It's
  333. 23:53more than accommodating. It's submission. It is. It's submission to what Islam means.
  334. 23:57Yes. And these and the Islamic radicals who are leading this charge to get this in schools.
  335. 24:07That's how they view it. Yeah. They're viewing it that way and they're using our own freedoms
  336. 24:12and liberties and our own principles against us.
  337. 24:15Yes.
  338. 24:16Yes.
  339. 24:17And it should be glaringly obvious because of all of the historical hostility toward, think
  340. 24:23about this, children being presented to gospel, but a red carpet is being rolled out for this
  341. 24:30ideology.
  342. 24:31It's egregious.
  343. 24:32You remember, see at the poll, how that started, and schools held the line saying this has to
  344. 24:38to be student led and it's got to be before school time.
  345. 24:43They weren't going to let these kids walk out
  346. 24:45in the middle school to go and pray.
  347. 24:48This had to be before school and had to be student led.
  348. 24:50All kinds of restrictions on it.
  349. 24:52No restrictions are not being applied.
  350. 24:54And these are not being applied.
  351. 24:57Well, let me give the number for those who are tuning in.
  352. 24:59You wanted to get in on Sharethon.
  353. 25:01Some of you have been waiting until this time.
  354. 25:03The number to call is 877-616-239-6.
  355. 25:08that number again is 877-616-2396 for a one time gift of $150 or more you'll receive
  356. 25:17this pocket constitution embossed with the AFA logo that consists of commentary from Stephen
  357. 25:22McDowell, our Declaration of Independence, our U.S. Constitution as well as all of the amendments.
  358. 25:28And as I've explained, that is vitally important that we place the Declaration and the Constitution
  359. 25:34together the regressive ideology as we've been talking about Woodrow Wilson and his desire was
  360. 25:40to sever the declaration from the Constitution which has led to all kinds of chicanery. The declaration
  361. 25:47is the vision and mission statement for our nation. The Constitution is the implementation
  362. 25:51vehicle and as contrary to Woodrow Wilson's desire to have Americans to bypass the preface
  363. 25:58is what he called it. To skip the first two paragraphs in the Declaration of Independence,
  364. 26:01All of that, God created all men equal stuff, all of that, unalienable right stuff, get rid
  365. 26:06of all of that and then just get to the grievances to where government ultimately is and all be
  366. 26:09all.
  367. 26:10You want to skip all of that.
  368. 26:11Or if you're a great commission partner at the $30 per month level, you'll get five
  369. 26:15of the constitution, pocket constitutions, as well as five of the America 250 wristbands.
  370. 26:21And that is simply our way of thanking you for being willing to support us 8, 7, 7, 6,
  371. 26:251, 6, 2, 3, 9, 6 is the number to call or you can get securely online.
  372. 26:29of those who have already done so,
  373. 26:31we want to thank you wholeheartedly
  374. 26:34for what you have done.
  375. 26:35There is no way for us to continue to do
  376. 26:37what we're doing without the support of listeners
  377. 26:40and viewers just like you.
  378. 26:41Thank you, thank you, thank you.
  379. 26:43Well, you know, it's interesting.
  380. 26:44I know you know this, and I'm assuming
  381. 26:47your listeners are well prepared.
  382. 26:50You trained them well on all this.
  383. 26:52But the Declaration of Independence was the engine,
  384. 26:56to drove Abraham Lincoln's belief that slavery had to come to an end.
  385. 27:01That's exactly right.
  386. 27:03All those ideas from the Declaration of Independence, those were the ideological framework for his
  387. 27:13opposition to slavery.
  388. 27:15And yet Woodrow Wilson and others, they want to get rid of all that.
  389. 27:18Literally wanted to do the reverse.
  390. 27:20Because Woodrow Wilson repudiated Jefferson and Lincoln by name, he was the president, 28th
  391. 27:25president of the United States who re-segregated the entire federal service.
  392. 27:30I did not know that.
  393. 27:31He did it.
  394. 27:32Him personally re-segregated the entire federal service after federal employment for 50 years
  395. 27:39was completely integrated.
  396. 27:41Woodrow Wilson re-segregated it, directly repudiating the Declaration, Thomas Jefferson,
  397. 27:47and Abraham Lincoln.
  398. 27:48Absolutely right.
  399. 27:49Well, listen, the fact that so many Americans don't know these kinds of things, I didn't
  400. 27:54that last part. But a lot of people don't know, and I'm sure kids in school aren't taught,
  401. 28:01that after the Civil War, it was the Republican Party that welcomed black men and, I guess,
  402. 28:10women if they had run, but at the time, black men to run for Congress. That's a fact.
  403. 28:15And the Democratic Party was the one pushing, especially in the South, obviously, pushing
  404. 28:20for segregation. You told me one time, and I looked at this up just simply to get the
  405. 28:27sources myself, you said that the Nazi Party came to the secret to the Jim Crow South to
  406. 28:37get ideas on how to segregate a particular group out, obviously it was the Jews and probably
  407. 28:46some other groups too, but primarily the Jews in Nazi Germany.
  408. 28:49They came to get ideas on how to do that to the Jim Crow South.
  409. 28:53That is a fact.
  410. 28:54It is an absolute fact that the National Socialist Workers' Party of Germany used the
  411. 29:00Jim Crow South and the segregation laws, miscegenation laws passed by and implemented
  412. 29:06by Democrats in the South to perform the model for what became Nazi Germany.
  413. 29:11of the conversations about who is and who is not a German, who is not a Jew, how do you navigate
  414. 29:17the blood and all this other kind of stuff, the blood and soil things, they got all of
  415. 29:21that from southern Democrats in the United States of America.
  416. 29:25That's a fact.
  417. 29:26The reality of the market singers, a eugenicist movement, a lot of the methodologies that the
  418. 29:32Nazis employed, the ideas from them came from American Southerners and eugenicists in the
  419. 29:37United States of America.
  420. 29:38That's a fact as well.
  421. 29:40And that is part of our history.
  422. 29:42Folks, let me just say, I don't mean this sounds self-serving, but this is why AFR exists.
  423. 29:50That what you just heard from Abraham Hamilton, you folks who listen to Abe on a regular basis,
  424. 29:56you don't get this in a lot of other places, a lot of other outlets.
  425. 30:01This is the truth of our history that isn't being taught to our children, isn't being
  426. 30:06taught to college and university students. This is the truth about our history. And so
  427. 30:14when people throw around the word progressive, this is why Abe says regressive. The number
  428. 30:19to call, you still have some time to give to our spring shareathon is 877-616-2396. And
  429. 30:29if you don't like to talk to people, you can go to aapart.net, you can give there safely
  430. 30:33and securely, but if you want to call 877-616-2396, we are running out of time. If you're a procrastinator,
  431. 30:43you still have about 25 minutes to give. And listen, I just, I know Abe's army, Abraham's army,
  432. 30:54I know you guys are in the fight. So now's your time to give if you have not already 877-616-2396.
  433. 31:03Well, I was looking in because I have this, you know, in my notes and I'm telling you, it's
  434. 31:08a contest, a worldview, a contest of ideologies.
  435. 31:11The scripture tells the believer that we are called to cast down Vayne Lagismas as a Greek
  436. 31:17term.
  437. 31:18It's imaginations in some translations and speculations in others, but the root of it
  438. 31:22is Lagismas, so we get out of things where English were logic from, that the Christ followers
  439. 31:26compelled by Jesus to confront, to combat, and really to destroy, unsound argument, unsound
  440. 31:35logic, unsound ideology.
  441. 31:37And you have, and just because this is just a topic of conversation, when you brought up
  442. 31:41my reference to Regressives, that's not my original idea.
  443. 31:45I derived that idea from President Calvin Coolidge.
  444. 31:48And he sought to repudiate, I'm not trying to make this a Woodrow Wilson show, but Woodrow
  445. 31:53who were Wilson specifically. Woodrow Wilson on July 4th, 1914, gave an address to what
  446. 32:00he called for and he was invited to speak on the 138th anniversary of the Declaration of
  447. 32:05Independence. Just like we're preparing to celebrate 250 on the 138th anniversary. That
  448. 32:10is when President Woodrow Wilson said you need to dispense with the mere preface to the
  449. 32:16declaration. If you really want to get to the heart of it, ignore the beginning of it. And
  450. 32:20And when you get to the grievances and where government is the answer, that's the real core
  451. 32:23of the declaration.
  452. 32:24Well, years later, President Calvin Coolidge was invited on July 4th, 1926 to deliver an
  453. 32:30address on the 150th anniversary, 100 years ago, where he directly took what Joe Wilson
  454. 32:39to task and what he said, anybody who seeks to invalidate the ideas from the declaration
  455. 32:45from its beginning to its end, they cannot lay any claim to advancing the American population.
  456. 32:51The only direction that they could be moving is backwards.
  457. 32:55Because if man is endowed with unalienable rights, that notion is final.
  458. 32:59All men are created equal, that notion is final.
  459. 33:02Any effort to derogate from that can only move people backwards, which is why I call them
  460. 33:08regressive because they're not advancing anyone forward.
  461. 33:11And so that tension between those two presidents from 138th anniversary to the 150th anniversary
  462. 33:18is still happening today.
  463. 33:20Because today's progressives want to conceal the notion that mankind is created equally.
  464. 33:24They want to conceal the notion that government at its highest efficacy is a chaotic engine that
  465. 33:31has to have limitations because of the reality of man's depravity.
  466. 33:35They want to deny that.
  467. 33:36Well, and the progressive idea was that we, and the progressives actually said this, we
  468. 33:43don't need to have so many, so many people voting.
  469. 33:47We need the experts, the, that kind of administrative layer above the voters need to really be doing
  470. 33:57making the hard decisions.
  471. 33:59And you see that same kind of idea when you're told like with all the COVID stuff, follow
  472. 34:04science will tell you what you can do and you have that same globalist idea on
  473. 34:09on a global scale will coalesce a group of of experts to tell the rest of you how
  474. 34:16to live. That's all coming from the progressives. Absolutely. 877-616-2396 is
  475. 34:23the number to call if you want to make your last minute gift it is welcomed we
  476. 34:28appreciate that 877-616-2396 or you can give securely online at
  477. 34:33at EFR.net, but in addition to all of that,
  478. 34:36to all of you, 16,600 plus of you who've already given,
  479. 34:42thank you, thank you, thank you, by God's grace,
  480. 34:46and with your support, we will continue
  481. 34:48to place the light on the lampstand.
  482. 34:50More when we come back from this break.
  483. 34:59American Family Studios Director and Producer, M.D. Perkins.
  484. 35:03I grew up in Tupelo, and my parents were supporters
  485. 35:06of the ministry, so I always knew the name Don
  486. 35:09Tom and Tim Wildman knew Rusty Benson because he was a friend of our family went to church
  487. 35:15with them.
  488. 35:16So I knew what was happening with the AFA Journal.
  489. 35:18We got those in the house.
  490. 35:19So I was always familiar from a young age with the AFA and listened to JJ on the radio
  491. 35:23driving to school here in Tupelo.
  492. 35:26But it was later in life when I got connected with the ministry because I had gone to film
  493. 35:32school and studied film and television production and had moved back to Tupelo to kind of get
  494. 35:38our feet under us as a family and through a fellow church member ended up getting connected
  495. 35:44with what was happening with American Family Studios and some of the documentary work that
  496. 35:48they were trying to get off the ground.
  497. 35:50And so came in as an editor and ended up moving into the role of producer on some projects,
  498. 35:55worked on the God who speaks and in his image.
  499. 35:58And you know I have to admit that when I first started at AFA I wasn't fully sold on the
  500. 36:04culture war concept. I mean, I appreciated some of the awareness and things like that and
  501. 36:11certainly appreciated aspects of the ministry, but that kind of core mission aspect of AFA,
  502. 36:20I have to admit, I wasn't fully sold on that, but really it was through working on in his image
  503. 36:25that I began to see the way in which the homosexual agenda had taken hold in
  504. 36:34society from a perspective that I had not fully appreciated to that point. And
  505. 36:40it was through that project really that I gained a fuller sense of clarity as to
  506. 36:46why AFA stood in the way that it did, why it spoke in the way that it did, why it
  507. 36:51approach some of these topics in the way that it did.
  508. 36:54And, you know, through God's providence, I ended up doing research on a book called Dangerous
  509. 36:59Affirmation about gay Christianity within the church and kind of the spread of that movement,
  510. 37:04the influence of that movement within Christian circles.
  511. 37:07And so that really weighed that burden on my own heart in a way similar to dawn, you
  512. 37:12know, digging into the research, trying to look at kind of what was actually underneath
  513. 37:16the surface of so many of these things.
  514. 37:19And I felt that same burden myself as I began to research these topics and kind of see what
  515. 37:25was happening there.
  516. 37:26And then through working on our current project, Culture Warrior, Don Wellman in the Battle for
  517. 37:31Decency, our new documentary coming out later this year, you know, being able to see from
  518. 37:37that level of perspective the burden that Don had and the things that were motivating him
  519. 37:43and the things that were happening in society that really did need to be addressed.
  520. 37:48And sadly, the way in which many believers within the Church were hesitant to jump on board
  521. 37:54and join him in his cause, and what would have been different if more people had listened
  522. 37:59up initially to some of the warnings that he was shouting.
  523. 38:03You know, we leave that in the Lord's hands, but either way, the statement that Don often
  524. 38:08made, God has called us not to be successful but to be faithful.
  525. 38:12so that distinction between faithfulness and success.
  526. 38:15We often want to, we're Americans, we're pragmatic,
  527. 38:18we want to think about what can we do
  528. 38:20and initiate some kind of result,
  529. 38:23but don with that biblical perspective on the fact
  530. 38:27that God calls us to do something,
  531. 38:29and we leave in his hands the fruit of that effort,
  532. 38:32and we trust that he will bless that.
  533. 38:34And so those are some of the reasons
  534. 38:35that I'm grateful to work for AFA,
  535. 38:38appreciate the ministry more than I did
  536. 38:40when I first started here.
  537. 38:42and I hope that people will continue to support the work that we do
  538. 38:46and enable us to continue to be faithful in many generations ahead.
  539. 38:57My name is Fred from Wichita, Kansas.
  540. 39:00I've been listening to AFR radio since the days of Tom Fae.
  541. 39:05In his drive time show, I've been so blessed by the combination of biblical
  542. 39:11and political commentary. The news, Fred Jackson, a shout out to you.
  543. 39:16And I've actually met JJ, you're a good man, as always.
  544. 39:20And I really love the Todd Herman show.
  545. 39:23So God bless all of you for all of your efforts.
  546. 39:26And I hope to see you someday in Tupelo.
  547. 39:39Jesus told us to love God with all our heart, soul, and mind,
  548. 39:42and to love our neighbors as ourselves.
  549. 39:45Each share a thought on American Family Radio.
  550. 39:48Call 877-616-2396.
  551. 39:52or give online at aFR.net.
  552. 39:56Make your pledge and help us love God
  553. 39:58and love people during Sheraton.
  554. 40:00Love God and love people.
  555. 40:06Welcome back to the Sheraton edition
  556. 40:10of the Hamilton Corner for the Spring, 2026 Day 3,
  557. 40:13the final segment of the show.
  558. 40:16Abraham Hamilton III here with AFA's
  559. 40:18Executive Vice President Ed Vitek Leano.
  560. 40:21And we just want to thank you for your support,
  561. 40:24for continuing to express your confidence in God.
  562. 40:27and your confidence in this ministry,
  563. 40:30continuing to engage, and frankly,
  564. 40:33lighting up the darkness,
  565. 40:34refusing to retreat from the issues of our day,
  566. 40:37refusing also to abandon God's word,
  567. 40:39but having God's word as our shield, if you will,
  568. 40:42as we advance in our foundation,
  569. 40:44as we articulate the truth from scripture,
  570. 40:46and apply them to the issues that we are facing today.
  571. 40:50For those who would still like to give you,
  572. 40:52if you'd like to participate through offering
  573. 40:55a financial gift, you can do so by calling
  574. 40:56eight seven seven six one six two three nine six the number again is eight seven seven six one six two three nine six
  575. 41:05or you can get securely online at a far dot net and be during the break
  576. 41:09and you and i would have any conversation as to how
  577. 41:12uh... world one with such a blow
  578. 41:14uh... to the
  579. 41:15progressive regressive
  580. 41:17and and how uh... that blow led to kind of a
  581. 41:21underground movement of aggressive in our own nation
  582. 41:23Would you mind sharing a little bit about that,
  583. 41:25what you were saying with the audience?
  584. 41:27Well, the whole idea behind the progressive movement,
  585. 41:30which I think in this country was like from 1880 to 1920
  586. 41:35in terms of its explicit nature being proclaimed,
  587. 41:40the whole idea, the premise of it,
  588. 41:42was that mankind was on this upward trajectory of learning
  589. 41:48and with this discovery and that discovery,
  590. 41:52and that was just going to continue.
  591. 41:55And that's why we needed more and more to start turning
  592. 41:58over the government away from the voters
  593. 42:02who were ignorant or provincial
  594. 42:05and weren't interested in the latest discoveries
  595. 42:10and turning it over to the administrative state.
  596. 42:13Now that idea was shattered given a huge body blow
  597. 42:18body blow by the outbreak of World War I, which was a bloodbath.
  598. 42:23And science was turned against humanity, mustard gas, machine guns, all those kinds of things
  599. 42:31where technology was used to kill people.
  600. 42:35And it was a blow to this idea that mankind was going to continue to grow in knowledge
  601. 42:42and escape the shackles of superstition and religion to some extent.
  602. 42:48And so just for my studies, just over the years, a lot of those ideas went underground
  603. 42:55into colleges, universities, law schools, which we're going to train the judges that
  604. 43:01would, in the middle of the century, start kicking, quote unquote, God and the Bible out
  605. 43:07of school, but also our seminaries.
  606. 43:09Yes, all of those ideas went into those educational institutions and lost some of the shine in
  607. 43:17the political realm, but went underground and by underground I mean they became even more
  608. 43:24effective in trying to change the future of the country.
  609. 43:29It's really stunning to see and a lot of these same ideas I mentioned before the break.
  610. 43:35We see these things being told these things all the time.
  611. 43:39COVID was a huge moment in which everyone was told,
  612. 43:44hey, just listen to the experts.
  613. 43:45Follow the science.
  614. 43:46And I have a great deal of respect for science
  615. 43:49and for medical minds.
  616. 43:52I think Frank Turic, Dr. Frank Turic has said in the past,
  617. 43:56science though doesn't say anything.
  618. 43:58Scientists say things.
  619. 44:01And so this whole idea that I look at the folks who are advocating for no borders, and
  620. 44:12in my mind, this is the quote unquote progressive idea that nations are standing in the way of
  621. 44:19global governance.
  622. 44:21You know we've talked about over the past, I got to talk to my head, can't think of some
  623. 44:25of the progressives who said that we need to have a global government, but the time is not
  624. 44:35right for that. This was being said in the 1920s. In fact, I can't remember the guy's
  625. 44:39name. He was one of the advisors for Woodrow Wilson. He was a professor at, over the years,
  626. 44:48I just can't recall things often, but he said we need global government, but mankind's not
  627. 44:56ready for it yet.
  628. 44:57Chilling, chilling ideas.
  629. 45:00And if you have nations, you have a nation like the United States that is all about the
  630. 45:05individual and about liberty and freedom, gumming up the works, you know, getting us out of the
  631. 45:11Paris accords and all these kinds of things. It's an obstacle to the globalists who don't
  632. 45:22want national governments and national votes getting in the way of their utopian schemes.
  633. 45:28877-616-2396 is the number to call 877-616-2396. Those who still want to get in as we are
  634. 45:40are here talking to you nearly.
  635. 45:42We're about three shy from 16,650 pledges.
  636. 45:47There's three people.
  637. 45:48Three people, yeah.
  638. 45:49And as Tim always says that this represents families,
  639. 45:52not only individuals, but households, families,
  640. 45:57that as they help us to fortify our supply lines,
  641. 46:00we're able to continue to offer the content,
  642. 46:04the instruction, there was a listener testimony earlier
  643. 46:07who said that AFR is a teaching tool, has been for him and his family.
  644. 46:11We want to keep this teaching tool alive and well.
  645. 46:14I'll never forget.
  646. 46:15And I shared this with this audience on this show because in the foray of schmovit activity,
  647. 46:24the United Nations released little things and it was a document they released down in the
  648. 46:29footnotes when I get out of pronounce the guy's name, that the UN, the head of the UN,
  649. 46:36You said that they had data that showed that what they called social distancing, which really
  650. 46:42was just physical distancing, not social distancing, and the mass wearing, that it didn't have the
  651. 46:47scientific evidence that it would work, but it was an exercise to see how many people would
  652. 46:54comply, how many people would comply with a directive that did not germinate from their
  653. 47:04nations and that would align with the world's advice and it was a test to see how many people
  654. 47:09like sheep would go along with the edict, the global edict and many, many Americans succumbed
  655. 47:20to it.
  656. 47:21I never forget YouTube kicked me off of YouTube because I had the audacity to have a scientist
  657. 47:26on to talk about the shmoven injections and things of that nature and YouTube kicked me
  658. 47:31off.
  659. 47:32This is not a science fiction movie we're talking about.
  660. 47:35It sounds like it.
  661. 47:37It sounds like what you're saying.
  662. 47:38We just wanna see how quickly people will fall in line.
  663. 47:42That's exactly right.
  664. 47:43And we saw this in places like Australia.
  665. 47:46Remember the videos of them arresting people
  666. 47:48who just came out of their apartment complex?
  667. 47:51Yes.
  668. 47:51And other countries, at least we had some pushback
  669. 47:54in this country.
  670. 47:55Yes.
  671. 47:56But so many other countries in the West just said,
  672. 47:59okay.
  673. 47:59Yes.
  674. 48:01Yes, you had something you wanted to.
  675. 48:02with this is uh...
  676. 48:04colonel edward houses
  677. 48:06uh... one of the names for wilson's he was wilson's most trusted adviser
  678. 48:11i'm trying to remember
  679. 48:12the name of the guy who said that about
  680. 48:14about the uh...
  681. 48:16uh... about we need a global government yet but humanity's not ready for it yet
  682. 48:20i'll come up with it at some point he will be one of several but the one who
  683. 48:24has has wilson
  684. 48:25uh... it'll be good to have his name if we can do so
  685. 48:28Well, we have literally about six and a half minutes to go with the remainder of the 2026
  686. 48:32spring shareathon.
  687. 48:34The number to call if you would still like to make your gift, you can do so.
  688. 48:378, 7, 7, 6, 1, 6, 2, 3, 9, 6 is the number to call.
  689. 48:428, 7, 7, 6, 1, 6, 2, 3, 9, 6.
  690. 48:45We have people still in shareathon central awaiting your calls and one of the things, I
  691. 48:49guess I don't know if I should share this, but a tradition that we have here to conclude
  692. 48:53shareathon is that we will gather with those who are manning the phone lines.
  693. 48:56those sing the doxology together to conclude,
  694. 48:59because we recognize the truth of scripture
  695. 49:01that all good and perfect gifts flow
  696. 49:03from the Father of Lights.
  697. 49:04And we are grateful.
  698. 49:05I for one, I am sobered every time by the reality
  699. 49:10of thousands of people all around the country
  700. 49:13that are willing to support this ministry.
  701. 49:14And to me, it imposes accountability to God,
  702. 49:19that we're gonna have to be given account to God
  703. 49:21for what we do with these resources,
  704. 49:23and how we stand and how we utilize it,
  705. 49:25and to see the thousands of people around the country
  706. 49:27who have recognized that God was a dainter for this moment.
  707. 49:33It's a sobering thing and it conveys to me
  708. 49:36an air of responsibility for stewarding well
  709. 49:40the platformer God has afforded us.
  710. 49:41Well, the challenges to our faith aren't always
  711. 49:45as bold and blatant as we expect.
  712. 49:50Sometimes it is insidious and sometimes the challenges
  713. 49:54to our faith, the whispers for us to maybe hold our voice,
  714. 50:00hold our tongue and not speak up and maybe sit this one out.
  715. 50:05Those kind of whispers sometimes are the most intimidating.
  716. 50:09And so sometimes when we are tempted,
  717. 50:13and that's what I think it is,
  718. 50:14it's a temptation to not get involved.
  719. 50:17It can have very tragic consequences.
  720. 50:20I think the majority of people who listen to AFR
  721. 50:23are in the camp of, put me in coach,
  722. 50:26point me in the right way, I wanna say something,
  723. 50:30I wanna do something, and that's part of what we do here
  724. 50:32is to give the tools and the information that people need
  725. 50:37and some of the instructions, sometimes we can get people
  726. 50:40together to contact members of Congress
  727. 50:43or to contact a corporation, we can help facilitate that,
  728. 50:47but we got more and more people who want to get involved,
  729. 50:51And that's part of why we exist.
  730. 50:54Amen.
  731. 50:54877-616-2396 is the number to call.
  732. 50:59877-616-2396 is the number to call,
  733. 51:03or you can give security online at aFR.net.
  734. 51:06We know that in our mission statement as AFA,
  735. 51:09that a part of it indicates our commitment
  736. 51:11to coming alongside the church domestically and abroad
  737. 51:14in the mandate to execute the Great Commission.
  738. 51:17And in addition to having people at the ready
  739. 51:19contact legislators and to mobilize to respond to an issue is that we also have people just
  740. 51:28like several listener testimonies we've heard during these last several days pastors who rely
  741. 51:32on AFR to help being sharpened and those who are encouraged to proclaim the gospel and
  742. 51:37make disciples right in their local communities.
  743. 51:39One of the things I've been encouraging on the Hamilton Corner is the Ministry of Neighborliness.
  744. 51:45Do you know your neighbors?
  745. 51:46If not, hey, get the feet to walk in and knock on a few doors.
  746. 51:51Invite people over for dinner, get to know them.
  747. 51:53As lovers of Jesus Christ, concern about our neighbor's eternity is intrinsic to who we are.
  748. 51:59And you may find that, hey, you have a neighbor who's an ally in the good fight of faith.
  749. 52:03So then now you have two households that are able to storm the gates of your neighborhood.
  750. 52:08You're called to sack.
  751. 52:09You're a gated community.
  752. 52:10And proclaim the gospel, make disciples there.
  753. 52:12And next thing you know, you have three, four, five families.
  754. 52:15You guys have enough to mobilize your entire county, you know, to exalt the king of kings
  755. 52:19and the Lord of lords and proclaim in the gospel, make disciples and putting feet to our faith
  756. 52:25right where you live.
  757. 52:26Well, and that has been the part of the theme of this Sharethon.
  758. 52:30Love God, love people.
  759. 52:32Amen.
  760. 52:33And expressing our love for God by loving our neighbors and loving other people.
  761. 52:37It's interesting you're talking about if you can find one additional person in your
  762. 52:41that's two people who can keep an ear out too for,
  763. 52:44okay, this guy lost his job.
  764. 52:47Or this lady down the road is at surgery.
  765. 52:52You can take a meal that opens the door.
  766. 52:55Some simple act of love and compassion can open the door
  767. 52:59for a deeper conversation in the future about the Lord.
  768. 53:02Absolutely.
  769. 53:04Well guys, we are close to the end of this time period,
  770. 53:07a couple minutes left, but we want to want again, thank you.
  771. 53:10Thank you.
  772. 53:11Thank you.
  773. 53:12Thank you for your commitment to support the work of AFR materially.
  774. 53:16For those who may not have had the material resources this year, but you support through
  775. 53:21giving prayer and love and even sharing the resources with others, we thank you as well.
  776. 53:28I often say that the American Family Association consists of people on the front lines, behind
  777. 53:33microphones and things like we are right now, but also people at home who are part of the
  778. 53:37supply line.
  779. 53:38From God's standpoint, he sees all of us collaboratively working together to be salt and light in a time and place where God has deposited us.
  780. 53:47So we are grateful to them. Executive VP, I'll leave you with the last words.
  781. 53:51Well, folks, thank you so much for participating in Shareth on those who gave.
  782. 53:56We are very grateful, those who wish they could have given, but could not.
  783. 54:00We love you. Thank you for your prayers. Thank you for listening.
  784. 54:03Let other people know about American Family Radio.
  785. 54:07Go to church, pray for our nation because only the Lord Jesus Christ can save our land.
