  2. 0:03It simply reoccupies the space vacated by the light.
  3. 0:07This is the Hamilton Corner on American Family Radio.
  4. 0:11It should be uncomfortable for a believer to live as a hypocrite.
  5. 0:15Delivery people out of the bondage of mainstream media.
  6. 0:18And the philosophies of this world.
  7. 0:20God has called you and me to be his ambassador.
  8. 0:24Even in this dark moment.
  9. 0:26Let's not miss our moment.
  10. 0:28And now the Hamilton Corner.
  11. 1:01Mr. Marty Sparks, ladies and gentlemen, J. Mac will be joining us shortly thereafter.
  12. 1:11At this very moment, many of you, well, I said shortly here after, I mean, I should say shortly
  13. 1:15here after at this very moment, many of you have not most of you are making your transitions
  14. 1:18from your part time jobs where you generate an income to your full time jobs where you cultivate
  15. 1:25an outcome.
  16. 1:26And as you do so, I want to remind you to make your transition with intentionality, understanding
  17. 1:32the primacy that God places on family, welcoming his insight on these matters to inform you
  18. 1:41and me as we go about our daily lives, which is why I remind you every opportunity that I get
  19. 1:48that what goes on in your house is far more important than what goes on in the White House. It's very
  20. 1:52easy to allow things to capture our attention and our focus and really to distract us away from
  21. 2:00from what should be our primary engagement.
  22. 2:03I've been continuously encouraging
  23. 2:05and I will continue to encourage us to live locally.
  24. 2:08You know, refuse to allow the things that happen
  25. 2:10on the national and international stage
  26. 2:12to consume us to such a degree
  27. 2:14to where we have no grasp, nor investment, nor commitment
  28. 2:18what's happening right in our immediate vicinity.
  29. 2:21Of course, the genesis of the local living
  30. 2:24has to take place within our homes.
  31. 2:28So as you are making your way to your full time jobs,
  32. 2:31remember what goes on in your house
  33. 2:34is exponentially more important
  34. 2:35than what goes on in the White House primarily.
  35. 2:38Because when you stand before the Lord,
  36. 2:41what you will be held directly accountable for
  37. 2:43is what goes on in your family.
  38. 2:45What goes on in your home?
  39. 2:47What is your jurisdiction?
  40. 2:50That is where your primary resource of accountability will be.
  41. 2:54So with that in mind, let's make it our business, man.
  42. 2:59Let's make it out of business.
  43. 3:00If you are a husband, your first priority is your wife
  44. 3:04outside of yourself.
  45. 3:06Your wife, your first priority is your husband.
  46. 3:11As a couple, husbands and wives,
  47. 3:12your first priority are your children, if you have children.
  48. 3:16Those are first order priorities.
  49. 3:19It's not to say that you shouldn't be effective everywhere else.
  50. 3:23Those of you who are not in those particular life circumstances
  51. 3:27and dynamics, I know we have a significant continue
  52. 3:29people who are unmarried, you know, I know we have some who are widowers, who are widowed,
  53. 3:35we have grandparents, we've talked about that.
  54. 3:38We need all hands on deck.
  55. 3:40God knows your particular station, but that doesn't nullify the reality of what God has
  56. 3:46designed in terms of the family.
  57. 3:50And while we have the opportunity, the order of the day is disciple-making, is disciple-making.
  58. 3:55We will never be able to outvote, outchurch, our politic deficiencies that are in the home,
  59. 4:00The great commission is to make disciples, which of course includes the proclamation of
  60. 4:03the gospel and evangelism.
  61. 4:07But evangelism is not the whole commission.
  62. 4:11It is a significant component of the commission, but it is not the whole commission.
  63. 4:16Make disciples is the whole commission.
  64. 4:19When we begin the program and the Word of God, we're going to turn to 1 Peter chapter
  65. 4:235.
  66. 4:241 Peter chapter 5.
  67. 4:27This is something that has just been pressing me that I want to present to you for your
  68. 4:33consideration in the word of God. First Peter chapter five verses five, sorry, verses one through five.
  69. 4:38First Peter chapter five verses one through five is where we're going to begin the program today.
  70. 4:44And this is a sound council from the Apostle Peter as a spirit of God inspired him to pin these words.
  71. 4:57First Peter chapter five verse one is says this, so I exhort the elders among you as a fellow elder
  72. 5:05and the witness of the sufferings of Christ, as well as a partaker in the glory that is going to
  73. 5:12be revealed, separate the flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion,
  74. 5:22but willingly, as God would have you, not for shameful gain or filthy looker, some translation
  75. 5:32say. We can just pause right there, can't we? For this day and age, not for shameful gain, not for
  76. 5:40filthy leuker. The Lord's shepherds do not shepherd his flock for money. All right, let me keep going.
  77. 5:51But eagerly not domineering over those in your charge, but being an example, being, sorry,
  78. 6:00being examples to the flock. And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading
  79. 6:08crown of glory. Likewise, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. Clothe yourselves,
  80. 6:20all of you, with humility toward one another, for God opposes the proud, but gives grace
  81. 6:31to the humble. Oh man, this is so rich. This is so rich. So Peter begins by, in this portion
  82. 6:40of text, by appealing to the elders, but he does so by referring to himself as a fellow
  83. 6:46elder. Peter is literally saying that he is not above the actual instruction that he is
  84. 6:54given in this epistle. This applies Peter saying as much to me as it does to other elders,
  85. 7:03As a fellow elder, I am appealing to you, as well as a witness of the sufferings of Christ,
  86. 7:10and a partakers of the future exaltation that we anticipate enjoying, shepherd the flock
  87. 7:16of God that is among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but willingly, willingly,
  88. 7:26not for shameful gain.
  89. 7:28is it is a pitiful embarrassment. How much of Christ following has been really used for
  90. 7:42profiteering. And I've said and I will continue to say, if the gospel that you purport to
  91. 7:49proclaim, cannot be proclaimed in Nigeria, in Sudan, and in Congo, and in Syria, just as
  92. 8:05well as in America, then you're not proclaiming the gospel because the gospel applies equally
  93. 8:10in all context and all content, continents, and all time periods equally.
  94. 8:19You cannot present, you know, a wretched prosperity gospel to the believers in Syria, and it is shameful
  95. 8:33that by large that deception has been exported to other nations from our own country.
  96. 8:40When the scripture gives us clear indication that you don't shepherd the flock of God for
  97. 8:45filthy Lucer.
  98. 8:46I'm not saying anybody needs to be sworn to vows of poverty either.
  99. 8:50those are not inherently virtuous.
  100. 8:54But we cannot sanitize covetousness,
  101. 8:58because covetousness is still a sin.
  102. 9:01The text goes on, not domineering over those in your charge,
  103. 9:04but being examples to the flock.
  104. 9:07This is very similar to what, excuse me, I described
  105. 9:13maybe last week when I was talking about one of the
  106. 9:14qualifications for eldership in the Lord's church,
  107. 9:16is hospitality, being hospitable.
  108. 9:19How can you know whether or not a person who purports
  109. 9:21to be an elder is hospitable if you never spend time with them
  110. 9:24101 you never even ever been in their home never been in your home
  111. 9:27And you got to get through the five layers of secret service more protective than the president of the United States
  112. 9:33And I don't want stuff on anybody's toes
  113. 9:37But I'll just say this the description of a first lady is something that usually applies to heads of state
  114. 9:46The Lord Shepherd should be should be viewed and should view themselves as servants
  115. 9:51Let me keep going Peter goes on and when the chief Shepherd appears you will receive the unfading crown of glory
  116. 10:03Then Peter makes a transition. Likewise. So similar to the quality with which the elders
  117. 10:11are to conduct themselves within the Lord's economy. Likewise, Peter says, you who are younger,
  118. 10:17that's not just chronologically younger. This is also those who may be younger in the faith,
  119. 10:22but really it's an appeal to the body of Christ at large. Outside of the eldership function,
  120. 10:28this applies to everyone, frankly, in the scripture basis out you'll see, clothe yourselves. All
  121. 10:35of you. This is a comprehensive application. This is something that applies to every member
  122. 10:40of the Lord's bride. Clothe yourselves, all of you with what humility or my glasses into
  123. 10:49my clothes yourselves with humility. I want you to see something here and I've said this
  124. 10:57in the past when we are born again. Okay. That is the beginning, not the end or the culmination
  125. 11:06of God's work in our lives.
  126. 11:08Being born again sets us on the course for sanctification.
  127. 11:11The sanctification process is where we agree with God about our sin and we grow continuously
  128. 11:19in conformity to the image of Christ.
  129. 11:24When I say we agree with God that we say what he says about our sin and we welcome him to
  130. 11:30work within us to transform us from the inside out.
  131. 11:35their portions within the sanctification process
  132. 11:38where we have to responsibly respond
  133. 11:44to what God is doing in us.
  134. 11:46Here Peter's explaining humility is something
  135. 11:50that we have a responsibility to participate
  136. 11:53in cultivating in our lives and in our hearts.
  137. 11:56Clothe yourselves with humility.
  138. 11:59Then notice what it says next.
  139. 12:01Clothe yourselves with humility toward one another.
  140. 12:08I know this is not the reality and experience for everyone,
  141. 12:12but the scripture bears out that one of the most enduring,
  142. 12:16identifying characteristics of the believer
  143. 12:19should be demonstrable, evident humility.
  144. 12:25Guys, pride is a fully metastasized cancer
  145. 12:30that will destroy you and those around you
  146. 12:33if it is not eradicated.
  147. 12:36if it is not killed.
  148. 12:37Pride destroys marriages,
  149. 12:40pride destroys relationships,
  150. 12:42pride destroys local assemblies.
  151. 12:46Whenever there's a situation where someone is offended
  152. 12:49and that offense persists without reconciliation,
  153. 12:53it is because one or more parties
  154. 12:55are refusing to humble themselves.
  155. 12:59I know that can seem like and feel like an oversimplification,
  156. 13:02but when you excavate the reality
  157. 13:04and dig down to the lowest common denominator,
  158. 13:07which you often find is at the root of the matter
  159. 13:11is somebody is refusing to yield.
  160. 13:14Somebody is refusing to humble themselves.
  161. 13:17Somebody is refusing to confess they're wrong.
  162. 13:20Somebody is refusing to extend forgiveness.
  163. 13:26And I'm communicating this with this passion
  164. 13:29because there are lots of us that we are being waylied
  165. 13:34in our real and our personal lives.
  166. 13:35Some of us, honestly, we turn to the news and things
  167. 13:38for an escape from our real lives
  168. 13:40because I realize it's so intense
  169. 13:41and our relationships are so tortured, some of us,
  170. 13:47that we escape to the news.
  171. 13:49We escape to the infotainment.
  172. 13:55When I'm talking about living locally,
  173. 13:56I'm not merely talking about accomplishing tasks
  174. 13:59to build the body politic.
  175. 14:02I'm talking about walking up right before the Lord.
  176. 14:06God said he goes on in the same text,
  177. 14:09clothe yourselves with all humility toward one another
  178. 14:13For God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.
  179. 14:19Peter is quoting here from Proverbs chapter three, verse 34.
  180. 14:22Apostle James says the exact same thing earlier
  181. 14:25in his epistle.
  182. 14:26In James chapter four, verse six.
  183. 14:28If you wanna make yourself crossways with God,
  184. 14:31if you wanna have God on one side of the aisle
  185. 14:33and you on the opposite side of the aisle,
  186. 14:35allow pride to persist in your lives.
  187. 14:37Brothers and sisters, it is immediately necessary.
  188. 14:41First Order Pride Arbity.
  189. 14:44For us to obey what the Lord tells us through the apostle Peter here to clothe ourselves with humility.
  190. 14:51Because nothing is a destroyer like pride.
  191. 15:00A discipleship minute with Joseph Parker.
  192. 15:03Looking in the book of Romans, Romans chapter 12, beginning at verse 1.
  193. 15:08I beseech you there for brethren by the mercies of God that you present your bodies a living sacrifice.
  194. 15:14Holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
  195. 15:18and do not be conformed to this world,
  196. 15:21but be transformed by the renewing of your mind,
  197. 15:24which you may prove what is that good and acceptable
  198. 15:26and perfect will of God.
  199. 15:29For I say, through the grace given to me,
  200. 15:31to everyone who is among you,
  201. 15:32not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think,
  202. 15:35but to think soberly as God has dealt
  203. 15:37to each one a measure of faith,
  204. 15:39and individually members of one another.
  205. 15:43Father, we thank you once again for the wisdom,
  206. 15:45the powerful grace, the powerful understanding,
  207. 15:48inside that is ours, as we spend time with you one on one in your word each and every day.
  208. 15:53We thank you and we praise you. Jesus' name, we do pray. Amen.
  209. 16:05Shiting light into the darkness, this is the Hamilton Corner, an American family radio.
  210. 16:11Welcome back, Abraham Hamilton, the third here. As you're listening to me,
  211. 16:17we never want to forget as we recognize man. The Lord has done a mighty work of many of us,
  212. 16:22And it's a right thing to say, I may not yet be why I know God intends for me to be, but I'm not what
  213. 16:29I used to be. If that's true for you, that is worth praising the Lord. But it is vitally necessary
  214. 16:36that we understand pride is no friend and the longer we allow pride to linger. And we can even
  215. 16:43allow certain aspects of it to seem as if it is our personality, but it's not. It's a foreign
  216. 16:48in beta trying to take up residence.
  217. 16:52All right, several things transpired today,
  218. 16:55yesterday, a couple of last few days.
  219. 16:58Not all of it is foolishness,
  220. 16:59that it does have some foolishness.
  221. 17:02But I'm gonna start earlier this year, maybe in February,
  222. 17:06mid-February, President Trump announced
  223. 17:09through his Commerce Secretary and others.
  224. 17:12His Commerce Secretary is Howard Lutnik,
  225. 17:15that he wanted to see the eradication
  226. 17:18of the internal revenue service, the IRS.
  227. 17:21And to see that replaced with the next
  228. 17:22internal revenue service, he has initiated a lot of the
  229. 17:25tariffs, things that are happening.
  230. 17:26I mean, some of the things are happening now.
  231. 17:28And I have a reporter in this in detail because the tariff
  232. 17:30conversations are very fluid.
  233. 17:32You know, you might report something now,
  234. 17:33then that has changed.
  235. 17:34Like for example, the tariff application to Canada
  236. 17:38resulted in the premier of the Ontario province saying,
  237. 17:42well, hey, I'm gonna institute a 25% tariff on electricity
  238. 17:46to the Northern American cities
  239. 17:48that we supply electricity to,
  240. 17:50to which President Trump responds,
  241. 17:51well, we're gonna add an additional 50% tariff
  242. 17:54to aluminum and other things coming from Canada.
  243. 17:57And immediately Canada says,
  244. 17:58not Uncle, Uncle, we would just play.
  245. 18:00We would just play.
  246. 18:02We would just play.
  247. 18:03Which is that is going to play out.
  248. 18:05The tariff conversation is contributed
  249. 18:08to some of the fluctuation and even the downturn
  250. 18:11of some of the markets.
  251. 18:13And it's important that we understand
  252. 18:15that the markets where stocks are traded
  253. 18:18is not synonymous with the economy.
  254. 18:20Okay, the economy includes the exchange of goods
  255. 18:23and services beyond merely acquisition
  256. 18:27of ownership shares and stock prices.
  257. 18:30That's an important metric,
  258. 18:31but it is not indicative of the entire economy.
  259. 18:33There are many instances where the market is doing great
  260. 18:36when the economy is suffering.
  261. 18:38And then conversely, when the economy may be not as robust,
  262. 18:41I'm sorry, the markets may not be robust,
  263. 18:43economy is a bit more stabilized. So we need to keep that in mind. But a couple weeks ago,
  264. 18:51President Trump's Commerce Secretary Howard Lucknick talked about that one of President Trump's goal
  265. 18:58is to abolish the IRS. This is why he talks about President William McKinley so much and how
  266. 19:04tariffs is really what funded the federal government prior to in our nation's history all
  267. 19:09the way up to the Civil War and thereafter. There was no such thing as a direct income tax on American
  268. 19:14citizens enduringly until 1913. Prior to 1913, we had temporary federal income taxes only to
  269. 19:21pay back war debt. You know, you had a temporary income tax following the Civil War. And once
  270. 19:27the war debt was paid off, that was eradicated until 1913. But listen to Howard Lutnik describing
  271. 19:34President Trump's goal to abolish the IRS. It is clip number two, clip two, go.
  272. 19:41Donald Trump announces the external revenue service,
  273. 19:44and his goal is very simple, to abolish,
  274. 19:47his goal is to abolish the internal revenue service,
  275. 19:50and let all the outsiders pay.
  276. 19:52I mean, this is someone who is focused on America.
  277. 19:55Let's drive down our waste, foreign abuse.
  278. 19:59I'll give you an example, cruise ships.
  279. 20:01You ever see a cruise ship with an American flag on the back?
  280. 20:04They have flags of like Liberia or Panama.
  281. 20:07None of them pay taxes.
  282. 20:09None of them pay taxes.
  283. 20:11Every super tanker, none pays taxes.
  284. 20:14Alcohol, all foreign alcohol, no taxes.
  285. 20:18This is going to end under Donald Trump and those taxes are going to be paid and Americans
  286. 20:23tax rates are going to come down.
  287. 20:27Well, not to be outdone.
  288. 20:32How it was making the rounds again on the media outlets and he had an interview last week
  289. 20:35on CBS E, he was interviewed on shows today where he offered what seems to be the first
  290. 20:41step, the first major step I should say in that direction to where Howard Lutnik has announced
  291. 20:47President Trump is intending to exempt all American citizens who earn $150,000 or less
  292. 20:55from federal income taxes.
  293. 20:57I'm not joking.
  294. 20:58This is what he said.
  295. 20:59Listen to and watch clip number five, clip number five.
  296. 21:03Go.
  297. 21:04No tax on tips.
  298. 21:05How about no tax on overtime?
  299. 21:07How about no Social Security?
  300. 21:08How about all those things?
  301. 21:11These are the kind of thoughts that will change America.
  302. 21:14I know what his goal is.
  303. 21:16No tax for anybody who makes less than $150,000 a year.
  304. 21:20That's his goal.
  305. 21:22Now, in that interview, Howard Lutnik says that's the president's goal.
  306. 21:26In other interviews today, he's saying this is what we're moving forward with.
  307. 21:31What do you think about that?
  308. 21:32That is very, very interesting.
  309. 21:34It is certainly something to consider as it's interesting that Chuck Schumer and others are
  310. 21:41taking the bull by the horns and initiating a shutdown with federal government.
  311. 21:48It's just remarkable how the tides have turned.
  312. 21:52The Democrats historically attempted to present themselves as the party for the working man.
  313. 21:58Never heard them say let's exempt people $150,000 or less from taxes.
  314. 22:02was so interesting when the federal income tax was proposed, initially via the 16th amendment,
  315. 22:09it was the Soak the Rich Tax. It was a tax that applied to, stop me if you heard this before,
  316. 22:15the top 1%, well, because Regressives never initiated a government program that they ever
  317. 22:22intend to keep in the same barn, if you will, that they start with it somewhat, soonly, rapidly
  318. 22:30became a tax. Oh, no, we we're going to ultimately tax all American citizens. It was I found myself
  319. 22:36reading, you know, a book just now that that our friend Bill Federer wrote about the history of the
  320. 22:41American income tax. And he included the entirety of John F. Kennedy's tax plan. And you'll be surprised
  321. 22:47if you read that. You want to know what John F. Kennedy's plan was to stimulate the American economy?
  322. 22:51Lower all taxes. Last time I heard the Democrats say let's lower taxes. He said we by lowering all
  323. 23:00taxes will expand the tax base and will stimulate more revenue into the federal government's
  324. 23:06coffers.
  325. 23:07And we also have American citizens with more of their own money to spend.
  326. 23:11I mean, it's not a secret.
  327. 23:13Economists will tell you that when you have lower tax rates, the federal government collects
  328. 23:17more in taxes.
  329. 23:18Why?
  330. 23:19Because you have more people with more money that is earned.
  331. 23:24I for one am all for seeing IRS go bye bye.
  332. 23:31one of the major things that the founding fathers articulated was that we want to make
  333. 23:35sure that the national government, the federal government, remain small and limited, only operating
  334. 23:40within those enumerated powers.
  335. 23:44Those expressly articulated powers in the Constitution.
  336. 23:50The best way to keep the government small is to keep it on a lean monetary diet.
  337. 23:56The moment you give the federal government access directly to the American's pocketbooks,
  338. 24:02guess what happens with government?
  339. 24:05It grows so big, it begins to do things that American citizens were supposed to do.
  340. 24:09It even takes over the responsibility of the church in functioning and charity to where
  341. 24:13we have societies now, much like other countries and not like Marxist countries, when we consider
  342. 24:19any problems the first thought is, what is the government doing?
  343. 24:21When I was never supposed to be an American thought, it is never supposed to be an American
  344. 24:26thought that whenever a problem was presented, you first started to be what is the government
  345. 24:31doing about it? No, never. So hearing the Trump administration discuss any eradication of the
  346. 24:43IRS, exempting from federal taxation, incomes at $150,000 or less, that's certainly something
  347. 24:51as to get the conversation started. And it's worth examining whether or not it's something
  348. 24:56that's worthwhile. Some economists say, ah, that'll never work. But like the tariff conversation,
  349. 25:04Let's see what happened.
  350. 25:07I want to share this next story with you because this is a huge story, but it is not really
  351. 25:11getting getting a lot of attention.
  352. 25:15EPA administrator Lee Zaldin has announced and he described it this way, but when you consider
  353. 25:21what was done, it's actually true has announced the biggest do regulatory action in American
  354. 25:28history.
  355. 25:29Did you hear that?
  356. 25:32The EPA under Lee Zaldin's direction, who was president Trump's nominee to be the EPA administrator,
  357. 25:39as the Environmental Protection Agency. They have announced the largest deregulatory action
  358. 25:46in US history. Listen to administrators as he talks about it. It is clip number three,
  359. 25:52clip three. Go.
  360. 25:54Today I'm pleased to make the largest deregulatory announcement in US history. The Environmental
  361. 26:01Protection Agency is initiating 31 historic actions to fulfill President Trump's promise
  362. 26:08to unleash American energy, revitalize our auto industry, restore the rule of law, and
  363. 26:16give power back to the states.
  364. 26:18EPA will be reconsidering many suffocating rules that restrict nearly every sector of our economy
  365. 26:25and cost Americans trillions of dollars.
  366. 26:30Our actions include the Biden administration's deeply flawed Clean Power Plan 2.0, Mercury
  367. 26:37and air-toxic standards, Quato BC, particulate matter 2.5, light, medium, and heavy car and
  368. 26:45truck rules, knee-shaps, and the so-called social cost of carbon.
  369. 26:51To advance cooperative federalism, EPA will partner with states that were universally rejected
  370. 26:57by the last administration's good neighbor rule.
  371. 27:01Among many other actions, today's momentous day also includes the 2009 endangerment finding
  372. 27:07along with all actions that rely on it.
  373. 27:10I've been told the endangerment finding is considered the holy grail of the climate change religion.
  374. 27:16For me, the US Constitution and the laws of this nation will be strictly interpreted and followed.
  375. 27:24No exceptions.
  376. 27:26Today the Green New Scam ends, as the EPA does its part to usher in the golden age of American success.
  377. 27:35Thank you, Lee. Thank you.
  378. 27:37The green news today, the green news scam ends.
  379. 27:40Now, I've explained many of you may recall,
  380. 27:42first we had a massive win at the...
  381. 27:47Well, let me take a few steps back.
  382. 27:48One of the major things that has transpired
  383. 27:50because Congress has not been passing lots of laws
  384. 27:53for quite some time.
  385. 27:54What's been happening is that Congress,
  386. 27:56if they pass anything, they would pass a framework
  387. 27:58of legislation and the executive agencies
  388. 28:00would basically fill in the blanks.
  389. 28:02You know, when Obamacare has passed,
  390. 28:04the Department of Health and Human Services
  391. 28:05is the one who filled in the blanks and the lead to mandating people like little sisters
  392. 28:11of the poor to provide abortion, border fations and the healthcare coverage.
  393. 28:14They're like, we are anti-abortion, so we don't want to be forced to provide a border
  394. 28:19fations and healthcare coverage that literally the Obama administration sued them to attempt
  395. 28:23to force them to do.
  396. 28:24Thankfully, they end up winning at the US Supreme Court, but that is what is what happened.
  397. 28:28And the reason why that type of thing transpired is because of the Chevron deference that said
  398. 28:33when you had executive agency interpretations of laws or application
  399. 28:37regulations, even if those interpretations directly contradicted Congress,
  400. 28:42those interpretations were deferred to by the courts, hence the term Chevron
  401. 28:47deference. Well, thankfully that was overturned as well.
  402. 28:50So now you have President Trump coming into office and he has put in some
  403. 28:54headcrackers in these various places.
  404. 28:59And Lee Zeldin is announcing this.
  405. 29:01And because it's the EPA and it's a lot of kind of technical language,
  406. 29:05it's not getting the attention that it should, frankly, because really,
  407. 29:08a lot of reporters are not that intelligent. I just want to say the truth. But this is huge.
  408. 29:14This is huge what he's announcing. So let me give you a little kind of clip of what I'm talking
  409. 29:22about. And this is thanks to Alex Epstein, who's an energy expert. This is one of the experts in
  410. 29:29in this field who's writing who I read regularly because they're experts in this field.
  411. 29:34But what he says, one, a reconsideration of regulations on power plants, the Biden administration
  412. 29:39implemented this regulation called Clean Power Plan 2.0.
  413. 29:43By reversing this, by reversing this, it is changing course significantly.
  414. 29:51The Biden era regulations would have effectively banned all coal plants and new natural gas
  415. 29:57plants by demanding the plants participate in this impossible 90% carbon capture carbon capture
  416. 30:07insanity. Reversing course here is essential to helping to preserve our electrical grid
  417. 30:15and unleashing energy in our nation. You have the reconsideration of the light duty, medium duty,
  418. 30:22and heavy duty vehicle regulations. This is what provided the foundation for the Biden,
  419. 30:27in the Biden administration to establish the electric vehicle mandate.
  420. 30:33All right, reversing these Biden era regulations, paves the way, or what these regulations paved
  421. 30:40the way for the electric vehicle mandate by imposing impossible, unachievable emission
  422. 30:46standards on gas power vehicles.
  423. 30:49So the Trump administration is reversing that.
  424. 30:52All right, you have Lee Zaldin's EPA reconsidering the 2009
  425. 30:58endangerment finding, all right,
  426. 31:01and the regulations that stem from the endangerment finding.
  427. 31:04Now this dates back to Barack Obama.
  428. 31:08These Obama-era determination, this Obama-era determination
  429. 31:16is what declared officially declared CO2 to be dangerous.
  430. 31:21you know, plant food, carbon dioxide.
  431. 31:26The Obama administration declared CO2 to be dangerous.
  432. 31:30That determination is what technically allowed the Biden
  433. 31:34administration to shut down power plants to slow us oil growth.
  434. 31:39And to really hamstring our massive natural gas that we have in our country.
  435. 31:48Remember under the Trump administration that we had for the first time in over
  436. 31:5250 years become a net exporter of energy, liquid natural gas was a large part of that.
  437. 31:57Well, this CO2 determination that was instituted, and announced by Obama first, re-instituted
  438. 32:06by the Biden administration is what put the handcuffs on that.
  439. 32:10This is some of the technical, these are some of the technical regulations that have
  440. 32:14to be done away with to unleash what we have in our nation, our natural resources, our energy
  441. 32:20and things of that nature.
  442. 32:21This is just a snippet of that.
  443. 32:24But the announcement that Lee Zelden had is 31 over 31 different regulations that are
  444. 32:29massive that are taking the shackles off of our energy sector.
  445. 32:33I know again, this is a little bit in the weeds, but this is how the sausages me.
  446. 32:39So by getting in and having someone who understands this area, who knows whether proverbial bones
  447. 32:44are buried and digging them up, this vitally important.
  448. 32:47But what we need in addition to these regulations being overturned, we need for Congress to
  449. 32:52to make these things enduring beyond
  450. 32:54one administration to the next.

  464. 33:30Let's think about what God has done.
  465. 33:32I would wager that his top news story is still
  466. 33:35that the free salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ
  467. 33:38is available to all.
  468. 33:40I wager that would be the top news story
  469. 33:42until that salvation is no longer available.
  470. 33:44You will have made your decision for eternity.
  471. 33:47He doesn't ask us to do anything he wants.
  472. 33:49than he does above what we can possibly do.

  477. 34:16and inclusion, and the harmful transgender lie.

  491. 35:14Welcome back to the Hamilton Corner, Abraham Hamilton III.
  492. 35:17We are in the final segment already.
  493. 35:19Well, just yesterday, just yesterday, a delegation from Ukraine, conversing with Secretary of
  494. 35:27State Marco Rubio in Saudi Arabia.
  495. 35:31And they announced that the Ukraine had agreed to President Trump's recommendation of a 30
  496. 35:40day ceasefire in the war with Russia.
  497. 35:44You know, I wonder what it was that caused that to happen.
  498. 35:47Perhaps it was the cessation of military support in terms of equipment and funds going to Ukraine
  499. 35:54that caused them to say, you know what?
  500. 35:56I think we will talk about that.
  501. 35:59Here's a clip where Ukraine agrees to the U.S. proposal for a 30-day ceasefire at Russia.
  502. 36:05It's clip number six.
  503. 36:06Listen to it and watch it.
  504. 36:07Clip six go.
  505. 36:08Ukraine is agreeing to support the Trump administration's proposal for a 30-day ceasefire with Russia
  506. 36:14and the U.S. will immediately resume military assistance and intelligence sharing with Ukraine.
  507. 36:20In a joint statement, both the U.S. and Ukraine said the ceasefire is also subject to Russia's
  508. 36:25approval.
  509. 36:26Here is Secretary of State Marco Rubio speaking after that meeting.
  510. 36:29We'll take this off for now to the Russians.
  511. 36:32And we hope that they'll say yes.
  512. 36:33That they'll say yes to peace.
  513. 36:35The ball is now in their court.
  514. 36:37But again, the president's objective here is, number one, above everything else.
  515. 36:41He wants the war to end.
  516. 36:42And I think today Ukraine has taken a concrete step in that regard. We hope the Russians will reciprocate
  517. 36:49So after that conversation yesterday, obviously here at Marco Rubio say we would we're gonna take this to the Russians
  518. 36:56The push for peace is in the Russians court
  519. 37:00Well shortly before coming on to this program
  520. 37:04Vladimir Putin was being interviewed at a press conference where he announced his agreement and his a keyword in principle
  521. 37:12to
  522. 37:13the idea of a 30 day ceasefire in the war against Ukraine. Listen to and watch Vladimir Putin.
  523. 37:22Obviously to translators
  524. 37:24indicating his agreement to the ceasefire proposal in principle clip four go of Vladimir Putin is now agreeing
  525. 37:32with a US proposal for a ceasefire in
  526. 37:35principle, so this is coming in from the Associated Press. I'm gonna read it word for word for you breaking Russian president Vladimir Putin said that he
  527. 37:43a reason principle with a U.S. proposal for a 30-day ceasefire in Ukraine, but those terms
  528. 37:49do still need to be worked out.
  529. 37:52So again, another developing story here that we are just going to bring you the latest details
  530. 37:56as we are just learning this.
  531. 37:58He said this in a press conference.
  532. 38:01So here's that quote from Poon.
  533. 38:03It says, quote, so the idea itself is correct and we certainly support it, but there are issues
  534. 38:09that we need to discuss.
  535. 38:11think that we need to discuss it with our American colleagues and partners.
  536. 38:17So what's being communicated is that Vladimir Putin agrees with the idea of a ceasefire, but
  537. 38:28the details need to be worked out. And as you heard, he said he would be open to discussing
  538. 38:34this with his American counterparts. This is a major development for one primary reason.
  539. 38:44President Trump coming into office, the conversations around this was if there would be a cessation
  540. 38:51of hostilities. The conversation has turned and when you think about negotiations and conversations
  541. 38:58about war, the conversation has turned to not if there would be a cessation of hostilities,
  542. 39:05but how will we seize hostility? So from what all of the sources I've been able to access,
  543. 39:14that the Russians have encroached upon about maybe 20% of Ukraine. One of the major considerations
  544. 39:22on the onset was the advancement in expansive NATO around Russia supporters, which of course,
  545. 39:28nobody wants to talk about because that investment that advancement happened with American support.
  546. 39:34and also you had the, shall I say this, the agitation in 2014
  547. 39:42of under Obama when you had, you know, Obama administration officials on the ground in Ukraine kind of working to
  548. 39:51do certain things dashingly there and you know I've said there's no, there's no good guy in this scenario
  549. 40:00But to see the conversation turn in this way where you have yesterday Ukraine say yeah, we're willing to talk about
  550. 40:09Assessation of hostilities
  551. 40:12Now the balls and rushes court and then you have Putin saying today
  552. 40:16Okay, the idea is the right idea, but we need to work on the details
  553. 40:20I'm sure I don't know just to be certain, but I would imagine that the
  554. 40:26that Putin wants to lay claim to
  555. 40:28to portions of Ukrainian land.
  556. 40:34I'm pretty sure on the Ukrainian side,
  557. 40:36they want to have, as Voldemort Zalinski said,
  558. 40:39during the Oval Office debacle, security guarantees.
  559. 40:47So the question will be how much, but it seems
  560. 40:51that the conversation has changed significantly.
  561. 40:58Even if you notice in the quote in this,
  562. 41:01quote is in print, I've seen translations, I obviously don't speak Russian. But Putin
  563. 41:05referred to his American partners, which is an interesting term employed. Or what's the
  564. 41:14colleagues? What was there? I have the quote here. Yeah, colleagues and partners, he said
  565. 41:20here, quote, there are issues that we need to discuss. And I think that we need to discuss
  566. 41:24it with our American colleagues and partners. That's pretty significant guys. Maybe I'm wrong,
  567. 41:29But I don't recall that kind of terminology employed previously.
  568. 41:34So it'll be interesting to see, as always, the details are what is going to determine whether
  569. 41:41or not there is any type of agreement ultimately reached.
  570. 41:46But when you have the Ukrainians announced, and I was very encouraged by this, because
  571. 41:52when the Ukrainians and the Americans got together, the Ukrainian delegation that men
  572. 41:59in Saudi Arabia was intentional to include in its statement, quote, the Ukrainian delegation
  573. 42:06reiterated that the Ukrainian people strong gratitude to President Trump, the US Congress,
  574. 42:12and the people of the United States for making possible meaningful progress towards peace,
  575. 42:17end quote. That is a pretty significant inclusion when you consider J.D. Vance's question in
  576. 42:25And the old office, have you said thank you?
  577. 42:28Remember that?
  578. 42:29Have you even said thank you?
  579. 42:31And now you have the Ukrainian saying thank you.
  580. 42:34And then you have on top of that,
  581. 42:37Vladimir Putin saying, hey, well,
  582. 42:38it's the right idea we need to move towards the ceasefire.
  583. 42:41That's a big deal guys.
  584. 42:42That's a big deal.
  585. 42:44Now I don't think there'll be much fanfare, you know,
  586. 42:46I don't think President Trump will get the Nobel Peace Prize.
  587. 42:49Even though Barack Obama got the Nobel Peace Prize,
  588. 42:5211 days after being elected and having done nothing.
  589. 42:56And I hope they said, I hope he had change.
  590. 42:59I mean, do I think he would deserve it?
  591. 43:03Yes.
  592. 43:04Meaning President Trump.
  593. 43:05I mean, I don't know.
  594. 43:06You have a war raging and then shortly after taking office, if the war comes to an end, that
  595. 43:11will be peace.
  596. 43:13But we'll see.
  597. 43:14I just feel like there's some people who are just, the TDS is so enduring that they'll be
  598. 43:21too afraid of what they're, you know, they're high-filuting partygoers would think of them
  599. 43:26if they dare move in that direction.
  600. 43:30So that is very, very, very significant.
  601. 43:34So these are some things guys that are very, very interesting.
  602. 43:42On the other side, I won't say the other side,
  603. 43:45but in another area, and I alluded to this earlier,
  604. 43:48with all of the tariff talk,
  605. 43:51you see fluctuation in the stock markets,
  606. 43:55but it's just a reflection on the tariff talk.
  607. 43:58but President Trump has even,
  608. 44:02he even said it and he's joining
  609. 44:03the Justice Congress that there's
  610. 44:04going to be some difficult days ahead,
  611. 44:06but in the long run, this is what will be best for us.
  612. 44:11I don't understand how we have allowed ourselves
  613. 44:14to be in this position with such imbalances
  614. 44:17on the global stage in terms of trade for so long.
  615. 44:19For so long, nations like Canada put what?
  616. 44:22200% tariffs on our milk and other things.
  617. 44:25And we export the reason why, ultimately,
  618. 44:29that President Trump has made the calculation that will ultimately prevail in the whole
  619. 44:32tariff conversation is because the United States of America exports far less of our goods to
  620. 44:40other nations. These other nations are dependent upon access to the American market. When you
  621. 44:45see that we have what a $29 trillion annual GDP where we have $20 trillion that are expended
  622. 44:53in consumer goods annually, the United States of America is the big dog in terms of a consumption
  623. 44:59market and anybody who's selling anything, they want to sell it here.
  624. 45:03You know, so why should we knowing that the producers around the world want to sell their
  625. 45:09stuff here?
  626. 45:10Why should we allow them to sell their stuff here very cheaply, but they can they can tax
  627. 45:15us very extensively to sell those things there, which is why you're seeing such a significant
  628. 45:21exporting of much of our manufacturing sector.
  629. 45:24Like, you know, I'm a tribe and this is a late in the show.
  630. 45:27I don't want to get my higher up.
  631. 45:28But when we had things like, you know,
  632. 45:30Bill Clinton establishing permanent normalized relations
  633. 45:34with China.
  634. 45:35And when you have, you know, these global deals,
  635. 45:38you, you, a lot, a large of the guys,
  636. 45:40you had a lot of the people, the Wall Street types,
  637. 45:42selling out the main street types.
  638. 45:44We should never have allowed there to be a rust belt
  639. 45:46establishment in the United States of America.
  640. 45:48Many of you listening to me, you recall the days
  641. 45:51when you examined goods that you were purchasing.
  642. 45:54If it did not say made in America, you concluded,
  643. 45:56And that is junk.
  644. 45:58Many of you listening to me, you know what that's like.
  645. 46:00Some of our younger listeners and viewers
  646. 46:02don't know what that's like.
  647. 46:03All they know is Made in China.
  648. 46:06All they know is Made in Bangladesh.
  649. 46:12We never should have allowed there to be,
  650. 46:15for a rust belt to develop.
  651. 46:19And so my position on this is wait and see.
  652. 46:24I believe President Trump has earned the right for us to say,
  653. 46:30I don't know why it looks the short term
  654. 46:32little rocky, but to say let's wait and see what happens.
  655. 46:35Because one thing is for certain that he's willing to try things other
  656. 46:39presidents have not even been willing to even discuss.
  657. 46:41And the other thing, and I'll say this, and I've said this to people just in
  658. 46:47regular conversation. President Trump had a pretty good life before he ran for
  659. 46:52president. I know he has an outsized ego, but I truly believe that he ran for
  660. 46:58president initially because he cared about the country. I do believe there's a part
  661. 47:03of him feeling like that a ruse was pulled over the American people's eyes using schmovin
  662. 47:12and things of that nature.
  663. 47:13But I ultimately think the main reason why he's doing it because he believes he's the best
  664. 47:16person for the job to help America get on the trajectory that needs to be established.
  665. 47:22And based on the moves he's made thus far, I think he recognizes that he will only have
  666. 47:29this term.
  667. 47:30And as you've heard me say that this term really is this first 100 days or so leading up to the
  668. 47:352026 midterms because the possibility exists if the midterms go the wrong way that
  669. 47:41President Trump will not accomplish much legislatively after the midterm so what has to be done has to be done now
  670. 47:46But the momentum has to be built in such a way where you have
  671. 47:50America first
  672. 47:52We have the people in our country that are willing to give ear to further an additional
  673. 47:57America first candidates and this is the small window that we have and if we don't take advantage of this window the
  674. 48:04The globalist hounds are at the door waiting.
  675. 48:08They're at the door waiting.
  676. 48:10And this very well could be, naturally speaking, the last opportunity we have to recalibrate in
  677. 48:15such a way to where you think there's a chance that we could see made in America again in
  678. 48:24plenty of supply.
  679. 48:27Is there a chance of that occurring?
  680. 48:34And this is frankly, what the scripture talks about spiritual wickedness in high places,
  681. 48:38this is a part of it.
  682. 48:39Because a lot of us, we know these things are happening, but we don't necessarily know
  683. 48:42why they're happening or even how they're happening.
  684. 48:44We recognize the shelves now filled with made in China.
  685. 48:49Like, how does that make sense when China is our number one geopolitical rival, yet the
  686. 48:55majority of the goods that the American people consume are made in China?
  687. 49:00How does that make sense?
  688. 49:01Do you think the majority of goods consumed in China are made in America?
  689. 49:07No.
  690. 49:08No.
  691. 49:09So I'm grateful for the initiative to try to make America first, to put America first.
  692. 49:18And should this effort succeed, it can completely transform the way life is done.
  693. 49:25And what we could see, resturgences of all kinds of things.
  694. 49:28I want to see America become a manufacturing nation again.
  695. 49:31I like to see this become a nation where we no longer consume more than we produce.
  696. 49:36All of that is on the table.
  697. 49:42All of it is on the table.
  698. 49:44So I want to wait and see, but not just waiting.
  699. 49:47Praying, engaging, watching, and seeing.
  700. 49:54And as we began the program saying, do what you can
  701. 49:58and what you must where you live.
