1:07Understanding the primacy that God places on family
1:12Before there was ever an institution of modern civil government
1:15Before there was ever an order of priests prophets before there was even a new testament
1:21Ecclesiastical body known as the church God ordained and established the family with marriage at the center
1:28The Lord did that for his own purposes and recorded it for our benefit so that we would
1:35understand the primacy that he places on family and so that that primacy would inform our approach
1:42to family.
1:43We would never be able to out-politik.
1:45We would never be able to out-church the deficiencies that are prevalent in the home.
1:51The first ministry that God calls us to outside of our personal commitment to worship and follow
1:57and obey the Lord, the first externalized outpost for that faith-filled life is our families.
2:07It's our families. The world works over time to get us to place our focus and our attention on everything
2:15else. I understand we're in the political time and our nation right now, but let me just tell
2:20you plainly, it's a sad state of affairs. If you know more about the presidential campaign,
2:25that you know about what's going on with your own child.
2:28You know, what's going on?
2:30Who is your daughter talking to?
2:32Who is your son talking to?
2:33What's going on in their lives?
2:34Where are their hearts?
2:36Are they believers?
2:37Do you know if they're believers?
2:39Have you ever shared the gospel with your children?
2:41If they are believers, are they bearing fruit
2:43and keeping with repentance?
2:46That's far more important what's going on in your home
2:48than to know how many billions of dollars we spend in Ukraine,
2:51even though that is important,
2:52but it's not more important than what's going on in our homes.
2:55you know, and sadly, there are people who get more emotionally invested
3:00and things like politics and find out who's the most corrupt.
3:03And you know, you know, you learn different things that get you hot.
3:06Like I've learned just like the rest of America, people like Peter
3:12Stroke and Lisa Page, remember those names?
3:15You know, headed a counterintelligence operation, also known as the
3:19Russian collusion investigation.
3:22and then it was learned that Peter Stroke and Lisa Page,
3:26oh, they became adulterous lovers
3:28and they were sending text messages back and forth
3:31to one another about how much they hated Donald Trump
3:34and they had this insurance policy
3:36to make sure he would never get elected.
3:39Well, do you know they sued the Department of Justice
3:42over the disclosure of those text messages?
3:45And guess what?
3:45The DOJ settled the case with them.
3:48So the Deep State covers for the Deep State.
3:51They not only use their official positions in the FBI to
3:58perpetrate this hoax against President Trump, then they get paid on the back end for doing so.
4:06That's crazy, man.
4:09But you know what?
4:09That's not more important than what's going on in your home.
4:12So as you are making your transition to your home this evening, we must prioritize
4:19what God prioritizes.
4:21refused to sacrifice your family, your home for the world, refused to do so.
4:31That doesn't mean we ignore what's happening in the world.
4:34We simply don't sacrifice our families in order to respond to what's going on in the world.
4:39To the word of God, we go Proverbs 28.
4:41Proverbs 28 is when we begin the program this evening.
4:45Verse 1, Proverbs 28, verse 1, very simple passage, a very simple verse,
4:52a direct verse, a direct verse, nevertheless it's important. Obviously the book of Proverbs
5:00is within the literary genre of wisdom literature. This book is one that we can plumb the depth
5:06of an individual verse. And the word of God says it's very simply the wicked flee when no one is
5:13pursuing, but the righteous are bold as a lion. I'm going to read it again, the wicked flee when
5:21no one is pursuing but the righteous are bold as a lion. That first portion of the verse,
5:27many of us have experienced it. We witnessed it first. We witnessed it first in Scripture
5:33in contrast to the relationship that Adam and Eve enjoined, enjoyed with God prior to the
5:39rebellion where they had communion with God repeatedly. Then the Scripture shows that after
5:47they had bitten the fruit, eaten the fruit, the Bible's records for the first time in human
5:52history that Adam and Eve hid themselves from God as if you can actually hide from God.
6:00And the scripture records God saying, Adam, where are you?
6:03You've heard me say before, whenever God is recorded in scripture asking a question, it's
6:08never because he doesn't know the answer.
6:09It's because he's probing at something deeper in the recipient of his question.
6:17Adam, where are you?
6:18Not because God's geolocation was turned off.
6:22Like his location services button was turned off.
6:25He's presenting the fact that there's been a breach, there's been a violation.
6:30And he's presenting that to Adam for consideration.
6:34All right.
6:36Adam hid because he knew he was guilty.
6:40You know, I've had that experience.
6:42Y'all know I have six children.
6:43Uh, then right now my youngest, he'll be three soon.
6:48You know, usually when I come home, he is running to meet me.
6:52Daddy, but when he's done something wrong and he knows my daddy gets home.
7:01He's gonna deal with me.
7:04I already know something is off
7:06because when I pull it, pull up,
7:08and I don't hear those little feet coming, I know.
7:13Because the wicked flee, or the wicked hide
7:16when no one is pursuing.
7:17I may not even know what has happened yet,
7:20but I know something has happened
7:21because he's running from me instead of running to me.
7:25That's what the wicked do.
7:29In contrast, the scripture says,
7:30but the righteous are as bold as a lion.
7:34This verse reveals something that is central,
7:37central, central, central to faithful Christ following.
7:43One of the features that essential to Christ following
7:46is boldness.
7:51Notice it didn't say belligerence.
7:54Notice it didn't say obtuseness.
7:58It didn't say high volume.
8:01It says boldness.
8:05Every believer must have boldness.
8:12Again, boldness isn't displayed
8:14because you're louder than someone else.
8:16Boldness isn't displayed because you are more physically aggressive.
8:21Boldness actually is a characteristic that flows from a confidence in God.
8:31Boldness is a characteristic that will allow you, that will allow you, that when all the
8:37world is saying yes, all your colleagues are saying yes, all your peers are saying yes,
8:44and you know that it's wrong.
8:48This is what empowers you to say, I can't go with that.
8:55I know everybody's saying that's right, but I know it's wrong.
9:00And the reason why I know it's wrong is because God reveals that it's wrong.
9:05And it's my prerogative to stand on or hide behind the word of God.
9:13Just like we were saying earlier this week, whatever is true, that's what we should do
9:17alone.
9:18Oftentimes, standing on what is true is not the comfortable position.
9:23You know, Jesus told us when He was teaching.
9:25The broad road ends up where?
9:27Broad is the way to what?
9:30And then Jesus said,
9:31many find that route.
9:33Everybody's going this way.
9:36Now, Rome is the way to life,
9:40which communicates very plainly.
9:43The way that the Christ follower is gonna go,
9:45probably is not gonna be the most populous way.
9:48When various issues arise,
9:49it's probably not gonna be the most populous way.
9:52You know, I give example,
9:54I'll give an example, I know,
9:55you know, many in the world have already,
9:57they don't wanna have a same-sex marriage.
9:59And as a settled issue, oh, it's settled, but not the way the world is responded to it.
10:07It's settled and the settlement is that same six marriages wrong.
10:12Same six marriages sinful.
10:15And let me offer you this last one.
10:19If you are a homosexual, unless you repent, you're going to hell.
10:24Now, the world would say that the statement that I just made is a hate filled, unloving
10:33statement.
10:35I'll simply tell you that that's not true.
10:39I don't make that statement because I hate anybody.
10:41I make the statement because I love you too much
10:46to allow you to go to hell unimpeded.
10:49You may not have somebody who may be listening to me right now.
10:51You may say, hey, I love your political commentary,
10:53but I'm just not religious.
10:55And see, the statement you just made is one of the reasons
10:57why I'm not religious.
10:58I'm just telling you plainly.
10:59I love you enough to tell you the truth.
11:02The same way I would tell you if you were thief,
11:03the same way I'd tell you if you were heterosexual,
11:05your hormone. If you unless you repent, hell is going to be your home. And it's because I love you,
11:15I'm telling you this because here's another reality that eternity is a lot longer than right now.
11:24And that's just one. The thief, I tell the same thing, the gluttonous, I tell the same thing,
11:29the liar, I'll tell the same thing. It's not out of haters, I don't love. And frankly,
11:36it doesn't matter to me how the world would want to twist my words and how they would want to try
11:41to try to, you know, spin whatever I may have said, because this is a true, and it's true
11:49not because I'm saying I am not the inventor of this idea. Jesus is.
11:57Boldness is a requisite, is a requisite for Christ following. When the Apostle John records
12:07Jesus's communications in the book of Revelation, and he explains about, explains the various
12:13sinful categories that have qualified themselves for the lake of fire.
12:19You want to know what the first thing on the list is?
12:22Before you even get to the murderer and the liar, you know what the first one on the list is?
12:28The cowardly. You know how cowardice is presented in that context?
12:34Because the cowardly is someone who knows what is true. But because of the fear man and the
12:39pressure of peers and the pressure of the culture, the one who knows intellectually what is true,
12:45refuses to abide by, to uphold, to live according to, and to proclaim what is true,
12:52because they're more concerned about people and people's perception of them.
12:59We're living in a time when there are people who would profess to be Christ
13:04followers, who would say they attend church regularly, regularly, regularly,
13:09but will cower and fold in the face of an aggressive and hostile culture, not
13:16because they don't know what's true, because they're too afraid to live on it, to stand on it.
13:24I said, we want to tell you again, because I love you, cowardice in Christ following
13:30are mutually exclusive. I'm not saying you come off the top rope like a WWE wrestling clothes on
13:37everybody with the truth, you know, with the F, you know, not TH with the truth. What I am saying,
13:45that you can't hide in claim Christ.
13:49And listen, the Lord is great and He's compassionate.
13:52This is the same God who found Gideon
13:55threshing wheat behind the wine press.
13:57Hiding, what God says to him,
14:00you mighty man of valor.
14:03Gideon started out hiding, but he ends up
14:07a battle-hardened hero.
14:14If you're in the place where,
14:16rhetorically, that you're behind the wine press,
14:22Come on out, because the righteous are bold as a lion.
14:29We have to be willing.
14:31If we are his to live according to the truth,
14:35and don't give me this man be paid be cultural phenomenon,
14:37well, there's your truth and his truth and her truth.
14:39No ma'am, no sir.
14:41There is the truth.
14:42Truth is objective and it is transcendent.
14:45We human beings have expressed privilege
14:48to ascribe to, to embrace and adhere to the truth.

16:25The third here I am delighted to have on the program, a brother who I met not too long ago
16:32the Home Educators Association Convention in Virginia, HEAV's convention. My guest is Bradley Pierce,
16:42a constitutional attorney who's been practicing for over 16 years. He's drafted legislation in more
16:48than 30 states supporting self-defense rights, parental rights, civil liberties, and the right to life,
16:53including drafting dozens of equal protection bills filed to abolish abortion. Bradley is the
17:00president of the foundation to abolish abortion and abolish abortion Texas.
17:05He's also the vice president and general counsel at Heritage Defense,
17:09where he helps defend the parental rights of Christian homeschooling families
17:12around the country against threats posed by social services.
17:16Bradley and his wife Cindy have 11 children. Bradley, my man.

17:25Oh, it is my pleasure to have you with me on the program.
17:29It was an honor to meet you, a mutual friend introduced us,
17:33Paul Hastings from a host of the Compel podcast.
17:37He said, Abe, you got to meet this guy.
17:38I said, okay.
17:40And we met, we were able to have breakfast together.
17:42And now here we are, because I realized in our conversation
17:45that man, we were like-minded.
17:47And so I wanted to share what you're doing, your work,
17:50your testimony with the audience,
17:51that God has allowed me to have access to here
17:53on the Hamilton Corner.
17:54So I'm delighted that you have agreed
17:55to come on to the program.
17:57Hey, looking forward to it.
17:59All right, so let's start at the beginning.
18:01All right, I love to do this because I love from our listeners
18:05to learn how the Lord saves his people
18:07from all kinds of different backgrounds, walks of life,
18:09and things of that nature.
18:11So would you just share a bit of your testimony
18:13as to how the Lord saved you?
18:17Yeah, well, I'm super grateful to be raised in Christian home
18:22with Christian parents who homeschooled me
18:26and taught me the Bible and that that's our foundation.
18:29And so for about eight years old,
18:33I recognized my guilt that I am a sinner,
18:37that I need Christ, I need a savior,
18:41and turned to him and repented,
18:44and began following him with baptized eight years old.
18:48And then, again, I tried to be a good Christian,
18:52but then about the time I was 13 years old,
18:54I really was studying the Bible the night before Easter,
18:59And I was looking at, you know, just what Christ had done and just it hit me like I never had before.
19:05So I mean, I don't know this is my salvation moment, but it was a big moment for me as far as just
19:11dedicating my life to him. Like he loves me so much that he gave so much while I was yet a sinner,
19:23while I was yet his enemy and hated him, hated his law. That's when he loved me and just that
19:30hit me when I was 13 years old. And I just felt like I owe him everything. I owe him my whole life,
19:36not just like, Hey, forgive me for my sins. And now I'm going to go go with my life and you know,
19:43try to live right. But just like, no, no, no, everything, total surrender. And so that's
19:50whatever I feel like I really try to dedicate my life to God and yeah not
19:58to do that perfectly but but he's gracious and merciful. Amen. Amen. You
20:03mentioned that you were homeschooled. What was your family makeup like in
20:09terms of your siblings numbers of siblings? I just had one brother. One
20:15brother is about 15 months older than me so we're pretty close. We were just one
20:18and the great apart.
20:19And my, I was gonna say my parents,
20:23but really my mom homeschooled us.
20:25At least my mom did like the formal education part
20:28and then my dad definitely taught me how to be a man
20:31and taught me a lot of, you know, fishing, hunting,
20:34mechanics, home repair, all the,
20:37a lot of good stuff on that side.
20:39Why is it still homeschooling?
20:41It's just not the books and stuff that mom was in charge of.
20:45Yeah, that's a part of it.
20:46A lot of people don't realize that.
20:47that, I mean, he contributed your formation really in training you and educating you in
20:53the non-academia aspects of things that are necessary for life.
20:57And I'm illustrating that because when people think about homeschooling and I refer to a
21:04more as discipleship in the home, they think only about reading, writing, and arithmetic,
21:08not realizing that the whole training of the mind and the morals and the young one is
21:14what the Lord requires of us.
21:15So you had that benefit right in your own home.
21:21Absolutely.
21:22Yeah, even by dad and I, we loved fishing.
21:25He loved fishing.
21:26So just sometimes homeschooling, we're just going fishing
21:29with my dad or we built a house one year and, you know,
21:32checked out from the books for a while
21:34and just focused on going with my dad
21:36and helping build the house and all of that.
21:39It's so important because yeah,
21:41education, discipleship, it's not just facts and figures,
21:46but it's that discipleship.
21:48Like you said, it's the walking along,
21:51talking Deuteronomy six kind of stuff.
21:53And that's a lot of times that's not just in the books.
21:58And that helped shape you to such a degree
22:01to where the Lord directed you
22:03and you agreed to follow a course to become an attorney.
22:05How did you make that decision to pursue
22:08that particular course of occupation?
22:12Well, about 16 years old,
22:15I had a lot of people kind of joking with me saying,
22:18hey, you like to argue, you should be a lawyer.
22:22And I kind of took that to heart at some point
22:26that there was actually a Christian band
22:28that came to our church.
22:29And he was not a lawyer himself,
22:32but he was talking about founding fathers
22:34and American history, which was a passion of mine.
22:37And just talking about how we need godly judges,
22:40we need godly lawyers, we need that in our country.
22:44And that's just where I really felt a call.
22:48I can't say I heard the voice of God,
22:49but I sort of felt the sense that there's a need for this.
22:53And God has given me certain opportunities
22:57and gifts in that arena.
22:59And that's where I decided like,
23:01all right, I'm gonna be a lawyer.
23:02And, you know, pursuit it from there.
23:07Sometimes we're like,
23:08oh, this is really what I wanna do.
23:10But I've been so grateful how God has allowed me
23:13to do the things I've got to do and use me
23:17through this profession.
23:19Man, that's awesome.
23:20And you and your wife had 11 children.
23:23So I'm pretty sure that you're a pro-life.
23:26Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.
23:28We love life.
23:29Yes, yes, we love life.
23:32And you know my wife and I, we have six children,
23:35but you moved on and not moved on,
23:37but as an attorney, you are the president now
23:40of the foundation to abolish abortion.
23:43How did you develop your convictions concerning life that moved you to the place where you were willing to serve in the capacity of being the president of an organization committed to abolishing the intentional premeditated homicide of unborn children?
23:57Yeah.
23:58Well, you know, I've always raised pro life by my parents, you know, that that's life against the conception, fertilization, equally valuable made the image of God, which we protected it just like we protect all other lives from then.
24:11And so that was always a conviction of mine that I made my own over time.
24:19And then after becoming an attorney, seeing how, now I can read the legislation, read the laws a lot better, and really see what's going on.
24:30And I really felt like a lot of the things that the pro-life establishment and pro-life lobby, the bills that we were passing,
24:38seem like they had some problems that they were submitting to Roe versus Wade, which I believe
24:46was unconstitutional, that they were not treating life like against a conception, that they were
24:52compromising on that and saying, okay, can we protect life at 20 weeks? Dear Supreme Court,
24:58please, can we please do that? Or 15 weeks or what have you? And really undermining that
25:06life against a conception that abortion is pre-natal homicide, like you said.
25:10This isn't healthcare that we're trying to regulate here.
25:13This is homicide and on a large scale mass genocide that we have going on.
25:18And that's how we need to treat it legislatively.
25:21And that's how as Christians, we need to talk about it and deal with it.
25:24And I didn't really see that going on.
25:26And so that led me as some others to start fighting for equal protection.
25:32And at the time, you know, we're rose overturn saying, hey, let's stop Texas here.
25:38We should stop following Roe versus Wade.
25:40It's unconstitutional.
25:41And now the court agrees with us now.
25:44But you know, at the time, it's like, why are we following this?
25:47You know, are we swearing oath, our legislators, swearing ode to the Constitution, not to the
25:51court.
25:52And if the court's totally saying to do what's off to the Constitution, we should follow the
25:56Constitution, not the court.
25:58And so we've been pursuing that.
26:00And the pro-life organizations were against that.
26:03They were opposing us in that.
26:04They were saying, we oppose what you're doing,
26:07which when I tell people that they're shocked,
26:11but that's why we felt like we needed to start
26:14our own organization, which very quickly we found out
26:18there's other people around the country that agree with us
26:21and call them, many of them call themselves abolitionists.
26:24And so that's what we started calling ourselves.
26:26We started to bulge more from Texas
26:28and then started drafting legislation,
26:30helping people with other states doing presentations there.
26:33And so then we lost the foundation
26:35to Bosch abortion to really help across the country
26:38and Lord willing someday around the world.
26:41Now I wanna ask a question and we're getting,
26:43well no we have time,
26:47concerning the opposition you faced.
26:49And I want to invite you to respond to it
26:53from the, I guess it would say
26:55the traditional organizational pro-life perspective.
26:59but also to speak to the cultural aspect of it.
27:02And I'll just tell you plainly why I'm asking that question
27:05in that way, because I think there is a reality
27:08that the fight for the sanctative human life
27:11obviously must occur in the halls of legislation
27:15and in the courts and things of that nature.
27:17But I think there's a much broader fight
27:19that has to take place in our culture
27:21that really takes on what may be even be a bigger juggernaut
27:26or behemoth, which is the byproduct of the sexual revolution concerning the American people's
27:31perspective on life.
27:32So back to the question, what do you think is the basis or was the basis for the kind of
27:38pro-life organizational opposition to abortion, the abolition?
27:42Yeah, I think it's twofold.
27:45One was on the, you know, that we were saying, hey, ignore Roe, which kind of the shorthand
27:51way of putting it that follow the Constitution, not the court.
27:55i think there was resistance to that because
27:58uh...
27:59i mean that's that's not something we should take lightly you know the the
28:02supreme courts of federal
28:04uh... you know for the constitutional
28:07you know arm of the federal government of branch of government
28:10and so we shouldn't just resist that
28:14uh... lightly
28:15and so that that said
28:18spring courts not got the spring courts not the constitution it's not the spring
28:22law of the land
28:23The Constitution says this Constitution and the laws which shall be made in
28:26pursuance thereof are the Supreme Law of the Land,
28:29Rovers and Wades not made percutant of the Constitution.
28:31So we should, you know, it's an old and void.
28:34So that's how we should treat it.
28:36But a lot of the pro-life movement, they were saying, no, we can't, we can't,
28:40we can't say no, right?
28:42We can't, it's hard to resist, in this case tyranny.
28:46And the tyranny is simply authority that neglects or that abuses its authority
28:53or that operates as if it's not under a higher law, right?
28:56That violates the higher law. That's what tyranny is.
28:59And here, of course, God's law, but also the Constitution.
29:03And arbitrary, right?
29:05Ruling without any fixed higher law. That's an arbitrary.
29:09That's what a tyrant is.
29:10Well, our founding fathers, we should resist that.
29:13And pro-life movement, the pro-life lobby organizations,
29:18they were resistant to that. And they oppose that.
29:22And, you know, so there's that and then on the equal protection front, you know, I think
29:28the main issue there is that, again, the pro-life movement, although there's many great Christians,
29:34you know, that are in it, a lot of the organizations are not approaching the issue of abortion
29:40from a Christian perspective, by that, which I mean a Christian foundation, right?
29:46Why is there abortion in our country?
29:49It's not because of Planned Parenthood ultimately.
29:52It's not because of pills, it's not because of the Supreme Court.
29:56The government's not forcing people to have abortions like China, right?
30:00The law of China was, and probably still is.
30:05But the reason that we have abortion in this country and why there's been child sacrifice
30:10throughout human history, the primary reason is sin.
30:14We are sinners.
30:16Sin is in our hearts.
30:17We by and large, most people involved, you know, Bob's a dad's having their children
30:21aborted are not victims.
30:24They're doing it because like the Bible says that hands of the sinners wicked are swift
30:31to shed blood.
30:32And we see the fatherless being, you know, the no fatherless and the widows being among
30:39the most oppressed in scripture and today the same way.
30:43And so that's why we have to deal with it from a sin perspective.
30:47Whereas the pro-life movement, a lot of them were saying, well, this isn't about religion,
30:52right?
30:53This is about science or human rights and things like that, which all of that ultimately has
30:56to come from a higher than a source.
31:00And so we have to start with that and we have to start with what human nature is.
31:04And we can't just say that everybody's a victim.
31:07And unfortunately, that's what the pro-life bills have said for decades now that the
31:13mothers especially are not culpable that they are victims
31:19no matter how willfully and voluntarily they are causing
31:22the death of their own children that the law they write
31:26say they may not be held accountable for that
31:28because they are victims.
31:29Mm, which is a divergent point, you know,
31:33and lots of people who are listening to you right now
31:36are probably a little bit shocked to hear what you're saying
31:40but it is a vitally important conversation to have
31:43because the majority discourse on this issue does
31:48really convey the notion that the mom is victimized.
31:55And you know, as well as I know,
31:57the kind of red herring propaganda that's offered.
32:00And it is propaganda.
32:02And I do know that there are some people that it applies to,
32:05but really, really, really is very, very, very, very, very,
32:07very infinitesimal minority that is presented
32:11as if it is the majority.
32:12So how would you respond to the person that would try to use that same tactic upon you to
32:18say Bradley, you're so hard-hearted.
32:20What about the young girl, you can hear the disrespectful music coming to the break, but
32:24I want to set this question up and pick it up on the other side of the break.
32:27What would you say to the young girl who's been a victim of rape, the 10-year-old or things
32:31of that nature, how would Bradley Pierce, president of the foundation to abolish abortion, respond
32:38to that argument that says, well, we should at least make room for these victimized circumstances.
32:47I guess I'll say it that way. We'll get to that on the other side of the break. My guest
32:52is Bradley Pierce, president of the Foundation to Abolish Abortion, vice president and general
32:57counsel of Heritage Defense, which we'll talk about that as well on the other side of the

33:09You can't sit this election out.
33:13I know a lot of Christians do.
33:15This is true that God is sovereign.
33:17I tell you that all the time.
33:19But they fancy that somehow that is separate from their personal responsibility.
33:23We are His hands and feet.
33:25And so that's why we have to do what's right.
33:28The Bible says to him that Noah to do good and just doesn't do it.
33:33To him it is sin.

33:59III here.
33:59My guest is Bradley Pierce, Constitution little attorney,
34:02President of Foundation to Abolish Abortion, which, by the
34:05way the website is FAA.life. FAA.life I'd encourage you to go there to get all of the information
34:14I didn't even tell you this Bradley but I was snooping on your website and I saw that you
34:17guys have a foundation I'm sorry in equipping the Saints to abolish abortion conference coming
34:21up this fall in Hearst Texas and then tell you I saw that I did see that on your website.
34:28FAA.life to register for it as well as Heritage Defense which is another organization we're
34:34going to talk about here soon, but the website is heritage defense.org to where Bradley is
34:39the vice president of that organization and they defend parental rights, particularly
34:44of Christian homeschooling families. But before we went to the break, I asked a question. I
34:48sent up a question that basically raised the current popular cultural argument against abortion
34:55abolition that simply says, but what about those circumstances for the issues of when a
35:00My mom is raped or instances of incest.
35:03How could you be so callous and heartless Bradley
35:05to where you would want to eliminate the right?
35:09I can't even play like this.
35:11To slaughter the child based on the circumstances
35:13of the child's conception.
35:16I mean, you've kind of answered it.
35:18Right?
35:19That we don't kill people just because
35:23of how they were conceived.
35:24You know, that's not the answer.
35:26I mean, rape is a, rape and incest, horrible situations,
35:30tragic acts of violence against innocent people.
35:34But the answer to a tragic act of violence
35:36against an innocent person is not to commit
35:39another tragic act of violence against another innocent person.
35:43In fact, we know what man means for evil,
35:47God means for good, and God, he loves bringing beauty
35:51out of ashes.
35:53And that's something that maybe, yeah,
35:55that rape and incense is a horrible situation,
35:57but that baby's actually something beautiful
36:00out of the God's bringing out of that horrible situation
36:02to someone else, miffer, evil, a God,
36:04meant it for good to bring this life out of it.
36:07And that's what he delights in doing.
36:09And so we're not to destroy that life.
36:12No, I mean, that mom may be in a difficult circumstance.
36:15She may be in a lot of, she may need a lot of help.
36:18And that's literally the Christians and her family
36:20and the church, we should be coming alongside her,
36:23helping her and maybe she may wanna choose adoption.
36:27You know, there's so many people lined up to help with that.
36:29I think there's two million couples in this country lined up for infant adoption right
36:34now.
36:35So that there's plenty of people there ready to step in and help with that.
36:39And that's the solution.
36:42The difficult situation isn't to make the situation worse by killing someone.
36:47It's to let's help this young woman and let's help her baby.
36:52But Bradley, do you understand what you're saying?
36:54were advocating for prolonging and retraumatizing the rape victim.
37:00Wouldn't that be additional trauma imposed upon this rape victim to require her to carry
37:05her abuser's child?
37:07What's going to be traumatic is her knowing that she has something to do with killing a
37:11little baby.
37:12That's what's going to be traumatic.
37:13That's what's going to haunt her for the rest of her life.
37:16talk to the moms that have been raped and that have brought their children and that have
37:24those children now.
37:25I've never met any of them that regret that.
37:27I've never met any of them that say like, oh no, I wish I had a board of this child.
37:31No, they're like, oh, I'm so glad this child is a gift, a child is precious.
37:35I'm so glad this child.
37:37I love this child.
37:39It's not traumatic at all.
37:40In fact, that's therapy, right?
37:43That's part of the therapy to that situation.
37:47Is that now you have a beautiful baby?
37:50And that's part of the healing
37:52and the beauty that God brings out of that.
37:54And it's amazing.
37:55And this is why this conversation should never be had
37:58in a clinical, depersonalized environment.
38:03Because as you stated in the statistics support that,
38:06the overwhelming majority of women who even
38:09had the horrible circumstance where they were abused through the violent act of rape.
38:17The overwhelming majority want to keep their babies.
38:19It's a red herring and in addition to that, killing a child who is conceived in a horrible
38:25circumstance doesn't remove the initial trauma of the horrible circumstance.
38:30It actually compounds it.
38:32It actually compounds it.
38:33And so that that would not be a mechanism to undo or to, and I'm saying this is a person
38:40who has walked through helping a rape victim, multiple rape victims through the criminal justice
38:49process and not just being there for the case prosecution and the trials, but also being
38:55a part of the lives subsequently, you know, and it's just, it's just horrible that we
38:59We have degraded as a society to such a degree to where we have such a flippant notion of
39:06life, which brings me to the latter part of the question I was setting up before.
39:13What do you see as necessary on the cultural front, beyond the halls of legislation and the
39:18courts of justice, that needs to occur with more intensity, with more repetition and a more
39:24broad application for our culture to rediscover the appreciation for life that God would have us to adhere to.
39:34Yeah, Jesus basically, he says you are the salt of the earth, you are the light of the world, talking to his disciples, talking to not just those sitting right there with them, but talking to the Christians.
39:45The reason that we see the darkness that we see in our country is because Christians have not been the salt and light that we should be in this country.
39:55And we haven't been speaking with the clarity that God speaks on this issue and speaking about it the way that he speaks about it.
40:04This is sin.
40:05We need to repent of it.
40:07We need to abolish it as murder, outlaw it.
40:10You shall not murder.
40:11That's what God says.
40:12that says, and that's the way we need to treat it,
40:13that's the way we need to talk about these lives,
40:16the way that we're talking about it right here.
40:18And we need Christians to do that,
40:20we need pastors, shepherds to be willing to do that,
40:22not just once a year on sanctity of life Sunday,
40:25but all the time.
40:26This is something that the culture is bombarding people
40:29with lies and propaganda all the time.
40:33This has to be something that pastors of churches
40:37need to be constantly discipling Christians
40:40to about how we should be thinking about this biblically.
40:43And then the church is then gonna be salt and light
40:47in the culture.
40:48And again, not just in the church, right?
40:51That's why our upcoming conference
40:53is called equipping the saints
40:55is because that's what the role of the pastors, elders are,
40:58equipping the saints for the work of ministry.
41:01You don't just lie to candle, put it under a bushel,
41:05put it under a basket, right?
41:06Put it on a lamp stand,
41:07and that's where Christians need to be.
41:09need to be bold out of the culture, willing to endure the persecution, bless
41:14are you when you're persecuted. And that's something that we really need to lay
41:19hold of as Christians, stop being afraid. Well, I don't want to sound mean, and I
41:24don't want to sound this and that. But no, you listen to the left, you listen to
41:30the way, you know, Democrats run for office, you know, Kamala Harris is running for
41:35office and ask, would you allow a portion of the nine months?
41:39Won't even answer that because their position is very clear.
41:44Abortion on demand, up till birth, taxpayer funded.
41:48Because my body, my choice, it's either a club of cells, many of them say that, but many of
41:55them are even beyond that.
41:56It is a person, but mom's rights, Trump's baby's rights, because there is no authority.
42:05is the God over her own body and over anybody in her body.
42:09Christians had to come back and say like no there is a higher authority.
42:14You're not allowed to destroy that life because that life is made in the image of God.
42:20And that's why abortion is wrong and we have to be willing to say that.
42:24Otherwise if we're just going to science and all that, ultimately we're just fighting
42:28humanism with more humanism. We have to come back to, you know, God says that that's the
42:34reason that abortion is wrong here. And that's how, you know, and pushing legislation is part
42:41of that conversation. It's a catalyst to that conversation. And that's what the law does.
42:46If we can get a law passed, it will be an immediate tutor, as scripture calls the law to teach people.
42:52Now, this is what this is the value of life. This is what's actually occurring here. And
42:56then deter people who won't be, who won't agree with that and want to continue their sin, that
43:02law that will then restrain them from that evil and then provide justice to the victims.
43:07So well said. Would you just share with the audience here some of the details concerning
43:15your upcoming conference, equipping the Saints? I believe it's October 18th is that I have.
43:22Would you just share a little bit about that? Yeah, October 18th in Hearst, Texas, which
43:27is right. It's in between Dallas and Fort Worth. So you fly to DFW. It's about 10 minutes
43:31away from there. And we have a lot of great folks coming to teach their Tom
43:38Aeskull with Founders Ministries, Dusty Divers, Senator from Oklahoma, Josh Bice,
43:44and Virgil Walker with G3 Ministries, Brett Baggett with Rescue Those, Phil George,
43:49Schapaster here in Texas. I'm going to be speaking there as well. And a lot of folks coming together
43:54just say, how should the church be addressing this? How should Christian be that salt and light that
43:59that we're talking about, how should pastors be teaching on this?
44:03And we'll be talking about, yeah, exactly that,
44:05how pastors should teach on this,
44:06what should the church think about a bulging abortion?
44:10Wait, are we getting too political?
44:12Will the church can't get political, right?
44:15Talking about that, talking about the issue of IVF,
44:18birth control, and also the issue,
44:21I'll be speaking specifically on the issue of,
44:24are increments okay, right?
44:26Is there how do we get from here to equal protection to abolishing abortion and are there some good ways to get there?
44:34They got approves of and are there some bad ways. Yeah, they got does not approve of and then I'll be talking about that
44:41Tell them tell a man bird. You'll say hello Virgil's a friend of mine
44:48Yes
44:49Now I want to take a few moments with the time we have left to talk about heritage defense
44:53What is Heritage Defense?
44:56So Heritage Defense for a nonprofit,
44:59legal advocacy organization advocating for parental rights.
45:03So Christian homeschooling families join Heritage Defense,
45:06and then if they have situation like a social worker knocking on their door
45:10saying, hey, you know, there's some kind of false allegation or overblown
45:14allegation of a Beecher Neglect, then families who are members can call us
45:20call us 24 seven be immediately connected with an attorney. We can then defend that family
45:25in that kind of situation. And that unfortunately comes up a lot in our country. Studies show
45:33over 37% of children will be involved in a CPS investigation by the time they turn 18.
45:41You have Department of Health and Human Services says more than 4% of American children in one
45:46year are part of CPS investigation. And a lot of folks don't hear about these because no
45:51one's out there posting on social media. Hey, guess what I just got accused of, you know,
45:56but it's happening in the darkness. A lot of families are being falsely accused. And over
46:0183% of those over 90% of reports of the child abuse and neglect are unfounded according to
46:06CPS themselves over 83% of their investigations are unfounded. So it's mostly innocent families,
46:13right? It's kind of like in the criminal world, you're presumed innocent to
46:17approve and guilty, but you know, probably did it. You know, it's kind of how a lot of people think,
46:22and that's normally true on the on the CPS side, someone's accused of it, something it's like,
46:27almost certainly they didn't do it, right? But a lot of families happen to deal with these investigations
46:32that we're here to make sure they're not alone, that they have have a defense, have an advocate,
46:39protecting them, their home, their children from unconstitutional violations of their
46:44personal rights, their civil rights. And so that's what we do here.
46:49So how would a family go about contacting you? What would be the scenario to where,
46:55let's say, a family is approached or contacted by a social service agency or something?
47:02What would be the process? How would they contact you? And then what would happen after
47:05to the contact you.
47:07Yeah, so for families who are members of Heritage Defense,
47:10you do have to join before social workers at your door.
47:15But the families, they just call us, have a 24-7 line,
47:18that members call us, and say, hey,
47:21I've got a social worker at my door for their accusing me
47:25of this, but that's not true.
47:26And a lot of times we'll say, all right,
47:30put it on speakerphone, but we'll
47:31talk to them on your behalf.
47:33and then deal with it right there.
47:36And then we're in all 50 states.
47:38So we're based in Texas.
47:40I had to handle a lot of the Texas cases,
47:43but if it's in another state,
47:44then we then hire an attorney,
47:46pay for that attorney in that other state,
47:48for that attorney to be present,
47:49for that attorney to deal with CPS
47:51and defend you, be there present for any interviews,
47:54if that needs to happen.
47:55And just be your advocate right there by your side
47:58for the whole time.
48:00And we cover all that.
48:01That's all included in the membership.
48:03And so how could a family become heritage defense members and what would those, what
48:09those costs, I'd imagine there's a cause for it?
48:11How can they become members of heritage defense?
48:14So they can go to our website heritagedefense.org and there's a learn more if they want to find
48:19out more about what we do and how it works and submit an application there.
48:25And it's $19 a month or $190 if they want to do the whole year all at one time.
48:31Mm, man, that's wonderful.

49:08and having a proper view of the sanctity of human life
49:11will be tools that you can have in your arsenal
49:13to be able to be something like in this time
49:15and place where God has planted us, Bradley.
