0:44The time is almost upon us.
0:46And I hope you are all set for a joyous,
0:50Jesus-filled Christmas season.
0:52Well, we've got a lot to talk about on the show tonight.

0:55And you know, speaking of Jesus,
0:57The Bible says of the Messiah who was born in Bethlehem so many years ago,
1:04wonderful counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace.
1:09But it also says the government will be upon his shoulder. Now, there is coming a day when
1:14Christ is going to return and like a back up to says that the knowledge of the Lord will cover the
1:20earth as the waters cover the sea. Now, we're not there yet and there are human governments.
1:26I happen to think the American government, the Judeo-Christian constitutional government,
1:33when it is followed, which is sporadic, is the best human government that the world has
1:41seen yet.
1:42But the day is coming when the Lord Jesus will rule and reign from Jerusalem.
1:48God wants you to be ready, and you can be ready through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
1:53Tonight we're going to talk about American government and culture, imperfect though it
1:59is, and Jason Rapert, his website is jasonrapert.com and christianlawmakers.com.
2:08God is using Jason Rapert.
2:10He's an ordained minister.
2:14He's a governmental leader.
2:16And God is using him in a great way to help call our nation back to truth and the rule of
2:22law that we very often forget. He is the founder and president of the National Association
2:27of Christian Lawmakers, Holy Ghost Ministries, the American History and Heritage Foundation,
2:34and Providence Financial Group. And he leads in these areas, and he's a great influencer.
2:40We've been on the radio together before. And Walker Wildman of AFR is on his board and also
2:48Bishop E.W. Jackson, Bill Federer, my close friend Bill Federer, and also Andrew Womack,
2:55who is just a very close colleague and friend of mine.
2:59We move in a lot of the same circles.
3:01Jason is just a great resource, a lot of knowledge and wisdom there.
3:06He's with us tonight.
3:09A lot of things I want to ask him.
3:10Jason, thank you for being with us tonight on AFR.
3:14First of all, thank you for your stand for God in country.
3:18Well, it's so good to be with you, Alex, and you're right.
3:23The Lord has knitted us together with a lot of the same people through our lives.
3:27And one of the first places you may have even forgotten is Alex's years ago, you came to
3:33Arkansas to speak at a pregnancy resource center for Melinda Chishol up in Central Arkansas.
3:42And that I think was shortly after I had passed the heartbeat bill in Arkansas.
3:47I remember I got to know you and really love getting to do that.
3:52Thank you for all that you've continued to do to impact this country for the Lord.
3:57Well and thank you for the heartbeat bill and yes I do remember that now.
4:03Do you know what since then God has allowed me to speak at many many fundraisers for pro
4:09life and pregnancy care centers and that's right. That is the first time you and I met
4:15and I remembered then how I was so honored to meet you. And let me ask this because I
4:21always love to hear people's journey. How did God impress on you to be there at the forefront
4:28of defending life and liberty? And you know, it's not always easy and we could probably
4:35share some stories and compare battle scars, but how did God lead you to the work and the
4:42journey that you've been on?
4:45Well, that is a fantastic question.
4:49Let me just kind of bring that there's probably people listening to this program tonight and
4:55they are thinking, Lord, what can I do and how do you want me to be involved?
4:59So let me kind of give a little higher thumbnail sketch of this, Alex, because it might minister
5:05to somebody in that regard because there are many people across this country that I believe
5:11God is ordained to fulfill certain duties and functions that they have yet to step into.
5:18And maybe by this question, they will begin to think about what God might want them to do
5:25personally. But as far as my involvement in the political arena, I actually was raising my family,
5:33running our business. I had actually been in the financial services industry in addition to our
5:40ministry work. So I'm an ordained minister, led mission teams into Ghana, West Africa. In fact,
5:46that was very, very deeply involved in our African ministry work when the Lord had me to pivot and
5:54to get involved in the political arena. In fact, the last time I was in Ghana, West Africa, Alex,
6:00I was able to baptize 70 Muslims into the Lord Jesus Christ in one service that we had,
6:06which is something I'll never forget. Because that is truly a big decision for someone in Africa,
6:15because a lot of times their family will shun them and they can no longer be a part of their family
6:20after they've made that profession. And so I was deep into ministry fulfilling what the Lord wanted us
6:26to do through Holy Ghost Ministries, which we still operate 20 years. But in 2010, in
6:332009 leading up to the beginning of that year, God began to really deal with me. The people
6:40began asking me, Jason, would you consider running for office? And I, just like a lot
6:45of people out there, would say, you know, I'm going to support other good people, and
6:49as long as they're doing great, I'm going to do that. Well, it got more intense. And
6:55So I literally prayed into this very sincerely,
7:00and I felt God answered my prayer this way.
7:03Jason, why are you not sacrificing to serve at home
7:10at the same level that you've been sacrificing
7:12to serve overseas now that your country is in trouble?
7:17And so Alex, when I heard that very clear answer
7:20to my prayer, I resigned from the financial services firm
7:25I was working for.
7:27We were managing $165 million in assets working for other people.
7:33I resigned, walked away from that with the shoes on my feet, the shirt on my back.
7:37I opened up what you now know is Providence Financial so I could take care of my family.
7:42I filed to run for the Arkansas State Senate in a state that had been dominated by Democrats
7:48for 138 years.
7:52I ran and became the very first Republican elected to my Senate District at that time
7:56since the Civil War in 2010.
8:00Amen.
8:01Now, we were still in the minority.
8:03And so for two years, I found out what it's like to be the minority political party.
8:11And literally we were just intimidated and they tried to keep their thumb on us every
8:16which way you could turn.
8:18And so I ran the heartbeat bill in 2011 right after I got elected.
8:24Guess what?
8:25They killed that bill and committee.
8:26It never would get out of committee.
8:28But by God's.
8:29That's how they do in 20.
8:30Yeah.
8:31And so by God's grace in 2012, the Arkansas voters elected the first Republican legislative
8:40majority since literally the end of Reconstruction had been 138 years.
8:46So immediately after that, I ran what we now know as the heartbeat bill.
8:53And on March the 6th of 2013, after having passed that bill and it got vetoed by then
8:59Democrat Governor Mike B.B., not to be confused with Republican Governor Mike Huckabee, who's
9:05on our board by the way, Mike B.B. vetoed that bill.
9:10So I had to go in and override a veto.
9:14And literally on March the 6th, 2013,
9:17we passed what they said at that time
9:20was the strongest pro-life bill to be passed into law.
9:23Spence, Roe v. Wade.
9:25And so when answered your question,
9:29I was a person of faith.
9:31I believe that God is the giver of life.
9:34I know that in the Declaration of Independence,
9:37our founding fathers said we are endowed by our creator.
9:41with certain unalienable rights. And the first one is life and liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
9:48And so I knew that I needed to stand up for God's word. You know, Alex, it says in Proverbs
9:55chapter 6, 16 through 19, there are six things that God actually hates, Yay, seven are an abomination.
10:03And one of those things are hands that shed innocent blood.
10:09And so I knew that as a person of faith,
10:12as a Christian, serving in elected office,
10:14I had no choice but to stand up for the sanctity
10:19of human life.
10:20And so I simply ran that bill and I will tell you
10:23as I take a break here and pause for a moment
10:27for you to ask another question.
10:29But when I ran that, that's when the left unleashed.
10:34And to be honest with you, the old phrase,
10:36they just unleashed all of hell upon me.
10:40They've literally had threats to rape my daughters,
10:43rape my wife, burn my house.
10:46One person that even said they were gonna come
10:48and consume me alive in front of my family
10:51through that ordeal.
10:52In the state police literally, saying,
10:55Jason, you need to have your family leave the state
10:57until we get through these credible death threat investigations,
11:00because there were so many that came against me.
11:03That Rachel Maddow, Alex, and Ron,
11:06a hit piece on me and that at least another whole load
11:09of terrible things.
11:10And so out of that, I turned around and I said,
11:14where are all of our people?
11:17Because there's a lot of people say they'll be praying for you.
11:21But when the real trouble comes and the first flying,
11:26as they say in the South.
11:27I looked around and noticed there was a lot of people missing.
11:33They said they were praying for us,
11:34but when the spotlight's on you
11:36and they're running down your family
11:38and they're running down your name
11:39and the public venues, it was like, where are these people?
11:45So I began asking the question, Alex.
11:47I said, why do we not have
11:49a national association of Christian lawmakers?
11:52And as I would ask that question, people began saying,
11:55I don't know why the world we've ever done that.
11:57That's so strange.
11:59So Governor Mike Huckabee met with me,
12:01Tony Perkins, the Family Research Council,
12:03Bob McEwen, that you know, Congressman Cune.
12:05Oh, I know Bob McEwen.
12:08Yeah, and they said, Jason, you need to go ahead and do this.
12:11In fact, Tony Perkins interviewed me in 2018,
12:14and he said, this is an entity whose time has come.
12:18And so we formed the entity in 2019,
12:22and in 2020, in August,
12:24The state of Florida, because it's the only state that had the courage to let us meet in person,
12:29we met in person and formed what they say is the first formally organized National Association
12:37of Christian All-Makers in the history of the country.
12:40We now have members and supporters in all 50 states.
12:43We have local elected officials that serve on school boards, city councils, county governments,
12:50State Senators, State Representatives, and now we have congressional members.
12:54So the vision has been hit and just literally a little over 48 months, we now have a very
13:02strong foundation of Christians that serve an elected office.
13:07And they come together in two major national meetings each year, a national policy conference
13:12that will occur June 5th through the 7th at Liberty University.
13:17will be our night in-person national meetings since we formed and we just finished our last
13:23annual meeting this past weekend in Scottsdale, Arizona where Charlie Kirk came and spoke personally.
13:29Oh yeah.
13:30He received the American Patriot Award for Christian Honor and Courage.
13:34Dr. George Barna was given a lifetime leadership award and spoke to us
13:39personally at our meeting. Bill Federer was awarded the lifetime leadership award himself
13:43and he's very worthy of that.
13:45And then Jack Phillips, the Masterpiece Kate Sharp Baker.
13:49I know everyone of these guys.
13:51And he allowed us to love on him to hear his testimony.
13:57And I'm so proud of what these members have done.
14:02So Alex, I now need to stop,
14:04but as you can tell, there's a lot to say
14:07about what God has done with this group of men and women.
14:12And one of the things that my cook be said,
14:14and we're so proud that he's been nominated
14:16to be ambassador of Israel because our group
14:19has the only standing committee on America,
14:22Israel relations of any of the
14:24paralytic legislative groups in the country.
14:26But my cook be said, we want those Christians
14:29in elected office to know they are not alone.
14:34Yeah, hold that thought, Jason, forgive me.

15:03Psalm 118 verse 105 tells us your word is a lamp to my feet
15:07and a light to my path.
15:09In all of life, one of the single most fruitful habits
15:12is that of reading God's word every single day.
15:15And I like to encourage believers to set a goal
15:17reading at least three chapters in your Bible every day. It might be three
15:22different chapters it might be the same chapter three times over but spending
15:26time in God's Word will bless your life in ways you don't fully comprehend. God's
15:30Word ministers to your mind, body and spirit in a way that no one else or
15:34nothing else can and remember the Word of God is pregnant with the ability to
15:38bless you. It's full of light full of grace full of peace, power and joy. I would
15:44challenge and encourage you to start the habit of reading three chapters a day
15:47Today and also parents, I would encourage you to start the habit of having your children, each of them to read three chapters in their Bible every day as well.
15:55It's a habit that will bless your whole family.

16:10You know, I've heard people say to me over the years when we talk about the country and restoring America and revival
16:20and people said, well, you know, I'm just one person.
16:23What can one person do?
16:25Well, if you've ever asked yourself the question,
16:27what can one person do?
16:29Look at the life of Jason Rapert because this guy
16:34is a one man, just juggernaut of godliness
16:39and patriotism and the Lord is using him
16:42in so many great ways.

16:46And then of course, the National Association
16:49Christian lawmakers. And before the break, brother, I was just sitting here in my heart,
16:54just praising God for your obedience. So many years ago, and then the heartbeat bill, lives
17:02being saved, other people being emboldened. And, you know, many of the names that we throw
17:07around, folks, you've got to understand, when we talk about a Bill Federer, William J. Federer,
17:13just along with people like David Barton, and of course Governor Huckabee, Mike Huckabee,
17:18and so many other names. And I'm going to throw a few names out there, you know, Tony Perkins and
17:25of course, George Barna that you've given an award to. You know, I've read after these people for years,
17:34read their work, known them for many years. And Jason, there is a godly and growing wave of people
17:46that are committed to Christ, committed to this country, very astute, very wise, led by the Holy Spirit
17:54of God. There's a building army of patriots and Christians like yourself that God is using,
18:03and I think there are people listening right now that God wants to conscript into that army
18:08of leaders for God and country. It is exciting, isn't it, Jason?
18:11It is exciting and Alex is just so much to talk about that I you know you mentioned that
18:20some of the names you've thrown out and I would encourage people you've been kind enough
18:24to mention I've got a little splash page that people are looking for my name but hopefully
18:29they will take that splash page to go off into the other entities really that are the center
18:35of my life which is like ChristianLomakers.com that's where they really get a feel for what
18:40the innacials due in Alex. But I was thinking of the, as you're stating the, stating this
18:46segment about what can someone do and getting involved in this growing army, I want to share
18:54one scripture with you. And it's out of Jeremiah chapter 18. It says there in verse 5, then the
19:02word of the Lord came to be saying, Oh, house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter says
19:08the Lord. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are you in my hand, O house of Israel.
19:15Now, Alex, I think of America when I read this today. And it says in verse seven,
19:21that what instant I shall speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom to pluck up
19:27and to pull down and to destroy it? If that nation against whom I pronounced
19:34turned from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them.
19:39And at what instant I shall speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom to build and to
19:47planet, if it do evil in my sight that it will not obey not my voice, then I will repent of the
19:56good wherewith I said I would benefit them. I shared that Alex so often people quote first
20:03Chronicles 714. Sure. And I love that. We know it, but it's got to where it's almost become
20:11too quoted, right? People quote it, but they don't stop to think about it. What I love is that
20:16Jeremiah 18 is an echo, and here's the thing. In the South, so many people say, well, they get
20:24to the end of a conversation, Alex. And if they hadn't quite got it all figured out, they say,
20:29well, you know, God is in control.
20:32Yes.
20:33And they just stop.
20:35Okay.
20:36And they make you think that whatever bad's going on, well, you know, God's
20:40in control. Well, God's reminding you in Jeremiah that it is our decision.
20:48What he ultimately decides to do oftentimes.
20:52Yeah, because he said, if you keep doing evil and keep doing these things,
20:56you're going to get the judgment that I've decided to send your way.
20:59But you know what if you decided to stop that I might pull back. I might change
21:06Well, yeah, I'm the wall is in our court. Yeah
21:09Forgive me for your rutton Jason, but I mean I really think just to with resignation say well
21:17Gods in control. I've heard Christians. They'll say well, you know
21:21It is what it is and whatever will be will be that that's really a cop-out
21:27Honestly, folks, because yes, God is sovereignly in control. It's His universe. And I assure
21:33you, King Jesus is ultimately sovereignly in control. But we're in a time of history,
21:41folks, where the Spirit of God has fallen, the church has been birthed. And just like God
21:49said to Israel, I sat before you good and evil. I mean, make your choice. And this scripture you
21:55You gave Jeremiah 18, seven through 10.
22:00I'm reading it even as you speak, Brother Jason,
22:03and it is so powerful.
22:05You know, if a nation will turn,
22:08then judgment and destruction will be withheld.
22:11But if a nation will not listen,
22:14is bent on doing evil, verse 10 of Jeremiah 18, God says,
22:18look, I'll repent of the good that I was gonna do.
22:22So, so much the ball is in our court.
22:26Now I happen to believe on November 5th, 2024.
22:31So many people were praying,
22:33so many people were willing to get out and vote.
22:36And Jason, back in 2015,
22:39I actually met Donald Trump,
22:42just it was kind of a chance meeting in Washington.
22:47And I was myself, Robert Jeffers,
22:50Jerry Falwell Jr. at that time, we were very pro-Trump in late 2015, early 2016, and I'll
22:58tell you back in the day, it really cost me a lot of speaking engagements.
23:04Here's the thing, I think in 2024, I had a lot of pastor friends that for the first time,
23:10they were getting out of the comfort zone and they were telling people to go vote, they
23:16were supporting Donald Trump and it might have been scary for some of those timid souls,
23:22but it made a difference.
23:25I really think that we saw the church and the prayers of millions of patriotic people,
23:33it made a difference, didn't it?
23:36Oh, it did.
23:38And I want to, before I say anything more, I want to mention that we just heard updated
23:45information from Dr. George Barna during our conference. And he will state very clearly that
23:52Christians made the difference in this vote in 2014. And now at the same time, he's also going to
24:01tell you Christian voters still are horribly not involved because we got millions of Christians
24:10still sitting on the sidelines. But of those that did decide to get active this time, they
24:16absolutely did make a difference in electing President Donald Trump. And if President Trump
24:22is listening tonight or any of his new cabinet, I need you to understand you need to sit down
24:29and break bread with your Christian brothers in the conservative movement.
24:33I mean cause we did make the difference and here's the other thing that's coming off
24:38You know ever since we started the nacl we have been daily. I've got we've got a program called save the nation with Jason
24:46Raperton and airs on another radio network in fact down and I'm talking about it walkers talk to me
24:51We may be one of these days you all get to hear us at some point
24:55but yeah
24:56We're talking about that because
24:58In fact, I'd forgotten until I started this session with you that we even had that conversation.
25:04But on that, every day, we encourage people to get out and get engaged according to Genesis
25:10126 through 28.
25:12God's will was originally, he said, man, you go take authority over the fish and the sea,
25:19the birds in the air, everything that creeps on the earth, take dominion and authority.
25:24the church has given up our party in so many areas including government
25:29including the media
25:31including hollywood etcetera we haven't actually
25:35and you know been salt and light like we should
25:38it is i thought it is covered
25:42uh... forgive me but you know nacl now that's an acronym for national
25:47association christian lawmakers right
25:50it is and i know what you're about to say
25:53uh... well i'm just sitting here and i'm trying to remember my days high school
25:57science
25:58sodium or a that salt isn't it
26:02it's the scientific symbol of salt is a god good alex
26:06and then because that was that intentional
26:09nac l that's a if you folks remember your study the periodic table that's salt
26:16what was that intentional
26:19intentionally was done
26:21But I like to think that God gave us something just wonderful in that blessing that it was
26:26the scientific symbol of salt.
26:28And so yes, and what we've had happen is a lot of people, Alex, have actually, when they
26:34might not even be engaged much with church, that catches their attention and allows us
26:40to make the point which we've just made that we're to be salt and we are to be light in
26:46our country.
26:47And to finish the thought of what I was making the point about regarding Donald Trump and
26:52the Christian voters, what I want the Trump administration, and for that matter, the Republican
26:59party in the United States to remember, there are tens of millions of Christian voters that
27:06have not yet engaged politically.
27:10And I believe that's going to change, Alex.
27:14We are working, putting together, knitting together people that are already serving an
27:18office that are Christians, but we see Christian organizations and entities now coming because
27:25they want to engage with the people that are part of the NACL network.
27:30We are so happy about that.
27:32At this latest meeting at Scottsdale, Arizona, we had SBA, Pro Life America.
27:39We had ADF.
27:41We had First Liberty.
27:44that stavers on our board with Liberty Council.
27:47We've obviously with Walker's involvement,
27:49as you see what I'm talking about,
27:51the NACL has become really a platform
27:55by which all of these groups that have wonderful ministries
27:58and are doing great things are connecting
28:00with the actual lawmaker.
28:02You see, it's one thing to talk about making a change
28:06and to preach about making a change,
28:09but when you put that together with people
28:11that are in the trenches fighting those battles
28:13standing on the floors of your state houses and your state
28:16Senate's standing on the floor of Congress.
28:19Something really awesome begins to happen.
28:21That's when James, the book of James, comes alive.
28:24Faith without works aren't dead.
28:27And friends, what I love about the NACL and about AFA
28:31and other groups that are out here,
28:33they don't just talk about it.
28:35They put their faith into action.
28:38And that's what we need to say this country in Alex
28:41is we think about the Christian voter in America going forward.
28:46If every Christian and every pastor would decide,
28:50we are going to support only those people
28:53that uphold biblical values,
28:56you're gonna change America solidly
28:59for the next hundred years without question.
29:02And who knows by that time, maybe Jesus will come back
29:05and catch us all the way, Alex.
29:07Amen, even so, come Lord Jesus.
29:10Hey, I want to throw something out there.
29:13And by the way, folks, if you're just tuning in,

29:18Jason Raypert, for whom I have such respect,
29:22I'm going to throw out some dates
29:24because you and I know this world,
29:27I mean, humans do what humans do,
29:31but really spiritual realities are all around us.
29:36The Bible says Satan stalks about like a roaring lion
29:40seeking whom he may devour. And I think 2024 was one of the most spiritually charged years.
29:49And let me say this, in 1973 when Roe v. Wade removed legal protection from the unborn. That
29:57was a day of spiritual darkness. Let me throw some dates out here and talk to me, Jason,
30:04you would about what you feel like the spiritual implications were.
30:08And one of the first dates I would throw out there is July 13, 2024 in a Pennsylvania field,
30:18Matthew Crooks.
30:21Because look, Donald Trump in the news, they kept saying, oh, he's an existential threat
30:25to democracy, from Nancy Pelosi to AOC to Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg on the view,
30:34Donald Trump was just denigrated and painted as this evil person.
30:40And Matthew Crooks almost changed the course of world history by taking those words to
30:50heart.
30:51Talk to me if you would, Jason, about the spiritual battle that coalesced on a Saturday
30:59afternoon, July 13, 2024.
31:02Well, it's interesting that you brought up that date.
31:07I was in Nashville, Tennessee at a Council for National Policy Meeting.
31:11I know you know who those folks are.
31:15I was at CNP.
31:16I walk and I were about to celebrate our 34th wedding anniversary the next day and my goodness
31:24When this horrible thing happened and literally I am I will say it. There's so many things to say
31:32We don't have a lot of time, but I'll say it this way
31:35We're grateful that God saved Donald Trump's life
31:39But I believe I believe that we can safely also say that
31:45By saving his life
31:47It probably saved the United States of America as we know it.
31:52We're a very divided country.
31:55And the Bible says that life and death are in the power of the tongue.
32:02That's what the Bible says.
32:04And for years, the Democrat Party in this nation has spoke curses on this country.
32:12They have denigrated our Founding Fathers.
32:15They've tried to make them into people to be hated rather than appreciated.
32:20They have denigrated the US Constitution itself.
32:24They have torn down the things that we appreciate to the point that they tore
32:29down statues of our history, Alex.
32:31Yeah.
32:32They raided downtown urban centers, burning them, destroying property.
32:39They attacked people, the anti-Semitism, all of those things.
32:43And all of that is what's happened.

33:30I do want to remind everybody that we have got
33:32our seven youth biblical worldview camps coming up
33:37in the summer of 25.
33:38Now I realize a week away from Christmas,
33:41probably the last thing you're thinking about
33:43is the summer of 2025.
33:45But if you would, I want to give two websites.

34:26we talk about America and being a citizen.

34:44The kids get so excited because young people want,
34:49they want to know who they are,

34:52context, identity, how to make a difference.
34:55We teach them about Jesus, we teach them about America.

35:03Well, I want to get back to our guest and brother Jason,
35:06I just want to say thank you for all you're doing
35:07because sitting here, hearing how God is using you
35:11in such mighty ways, I'm inspired.
35:14And I was just sitting here in all honesty, no flattery.
35:18But I was like, man, I want to be more like that guy.
35:21I want to follow what Jason Raypert is doing.
35:24And I'm going to just be like Jason Raypert
35:28because God is doing a great way.
35:31And so what a joy to have you on the program tonight.
35:35Hey, before the break, you were talking about,
35:38I sort of threw it out there about July 13
35:41when President Trump was almost killed, but he wasn't.
35:46Hello. Hey, can you hear me? Jason, I don't know.
35:50Can you hear me, brother? Jason, are you there?
35:55Are you able to hear me? Well, I'll tell you what.
36:00Bobby, if you could try to get him back on
36:05before the break, we were talking about the spiritual overtones
36:09of July 13th. Last summer, when you saw it, folks,
36:14candidate Trump, US President number 45, praise God, now to be inaugurated as US President
36:21number 47. He was almost killed. And the rhetoric that was being spewed forth in the
36:27news, I mean the left, not only Democrat leaders, but talking heads. They were just
36:34denigrating Donald Trump. And he was almost killed. It shows like Jason Raper was saying
36:40that words have meaning. Jason, are you back, brother?
36:43Yes, it just went away there, but thank you for getting me back on.
36:48Yeah, thank you very much for holding. Thank you for your patience. Before the break, you
36:54were talking about what almost went down, and you started a prayer initiative just days
37:01after Donald Trump was almost shot. Finish your thought, if you were.
37:06Well, it's exactly right.
37:10And so I was making the point that literally the division in this country, everyone knows,
37:15is greater now than it has been since the Civil War against nation.
37:19And we've seen that.
37:20And what I was stating is that we have been seeing now for a couple of years culminating
37:27in literally assassination attempts the spiritual friction culminating in manifesting into the
37:34physical realm.
37:36I believe this is true.
37:37And we've had more than one assassination attempt against Donald Trump as less we forget it.
37:42Yeah.
37:43That one is the most poignant one.
37:45And when that happened, I immediately felt a call to issue a call for prayer and fasting,
37:55which we initiated on Tuesday following the assassination attempt.
38:00So every single day since you lie that Tuesday, and I think it was the 16th, or if I've got
38:07the date right, so Tuesday after the assassination temp, every Tuesday at noon Eastern time,
38:13we do a live virtual call.
38:16In fact, people can still join that call by going to ChristianLalemakers.com and we have
38:21a little link for our weekly prayer call.
38:24And we decided to just keep it going.
38:26So we had people from all over the country,
38:28and Alex, it was lawmakers,
38:30as well as just individuals,
38:32people that wanted to take part.
38:34And a lot of times we'll have a special speaker,
38:37just like yourself.
38:38I told you, I'd love you to come on and do that as well.
38:40And they will kick us off,
38:42but then we have people pray.
38:45And we have them just begin to speak their heart
38:47to out to God about what's going on.
38:50And so we have continued to keep that going.
38:53And I will tell you, we need people to continue in this nation.
38:57You know, we have seen a real turn in the country in which it's a palpable turn in the spirit
39:05as well because the country through voting for Donald Trump have actually said we are
39:12done with the craziness and the woke policies that have just been toxic in our nation.
39:20And so we believe that God is giving us a moment just like Jeremiah chapter 18.
39:28He is giving us an opportunity to stop what has been a march towards judgment in this country
39:35because of unrighteousness, the killing of human babies in our nation, and the absolute
39:42horrible embrace of sodomy and the LGBTQ lifestyle that is against God's word just as much as
39:50abortion is, and we've got an opportunity to begin to put the country back together.
39:58And so we invite people to engage in your churches and the other groups you're involved
40:04in, at greater levels than you ever have.
40:07But we also invite you to get to know the NACO.
40:09We'd love for you to engage and begin to pray specifically for your lawmakers and to help
40:15them as they pass policies.
40:17I want to say is that we're closing, Alex.
40:20During this last meeting here,
40:21we have a lot of model legislation,
40:2345 different bills that have been passed
40:27into model form since the NACL started,
40:31and including, by the way, Life at Conception Act,
40:34which I helped carry the Arkansas abortion ban trigger bill
40:38that ended all abortion in our state
40:40after the Dobbs decision came out that triggered our bill.
40:44We have got members like Representative Doty Horton
40:47Louisiana that passed the Ten Commandments poster bill that many of you've heard about,
40:52the display of those Ten Commandments posters, and Representative Mark Giddley of Alabama helped
40:58her in passing that as a model at our latest meeting. And so we are disseminating that so that
41:04legislators can file that same bill all over the United States of America, and they will.
41:09bill and they also passed the Ten Commandments Monument Act and now that you may remember
41:16in 2015 I carried a bill called the Arkansas Ten Commandments Monument Act. It became law
41:23and 24 hours after we put up the Ten Commandments Monument and Arkansas a guy drove across the
41:28state and found himself destroying that. We raise all the funds again to build it back
41:35In 2018, the American Atheist, the American Humanist, the Freedom for Religion Foundation,
41:40the ACLU and the Satanic Temple all sued the state of Arkansas and decided to teach me a
41:47lesson in doing so.
41:48We're still in federal court, Alex.
41:51Can you believe that even with the coach joke, Kennedy case that throughout the limit test,
41:56that federal judge appointed Barack Hussein Obama and Arkansas still has that case live
42:02in her court?
42:04and it's great.
42:05You will not let it go.
42:06But I'm telling you what happened is when that lemon test got threw out and the Joe Kennedy
42:13case that Bremerton School case that was decided in 22, you can now put up 10 commandments monuments,
42:2010 commandments posters, Nativity scenes, Menoras, you can put them all back up at state capitals,
42:28city halls, county courthouses, and I'm so proud of our friends at First Liberty,
42:35and they are really telling people about this in their Restoring Faith in America initiative.
42:42And so we invite people, engage with the NACL, where you can take ideas that we are seeing past
42:49and many of our state legislators to protect women's sports, to get the drag queen story hours
42:56out of our libraries, protect our southern border, election criteria, etc., etc., they're
43:02working to make sure that our policies in America are something that we could feel proud
43:08of as it honors God. So, Alex, I know that we've had a great conversation here today. Seems
43:15like we've just scratched the surface. But thank you for having us on today to talk about the
43:21and ACL and just know that if we want to save the nation, it's not going to be someone
43:28else that does it. It needs to be me and you and the people that are listening to this
43:34call. And I happen to believe just as I shared with all of our members during our meeting
43:41this weekend in Scottsdale, Arizona. In Luke chapter 10, Jesus is actually speaking there
43:49and he's basically advising them that they have power,
43:55that God has given to them to tread upon serpents
44:00and to go out and to do great things in his name.
44:03And I believe that in America,
44:04we've got a lot of people that have been sitting
44:07on the sidelines and just as he said in chapter 10,
44:11verse 18, this is what Jesus said,
44:13I beheld Satan is lightning fall from heaven.
44:16and behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy.
44:24And nothing shall by any means hurt you."
44:28And it says, not withstanding in this rejoice, not that the spiritual subjects are unto you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.
44:35So, Alex, I'll tell you, all of the things going on in the country, the only way to really save America is to have a real revival in this nation.
44:44And once that revival takes hold,
44:46then we'll have more godly people
44:48that will do more godly things
44:50and hopefully have a more godly nation.
44:52And that's really the heart and soul
44:54of what the NACL stands for.
44:56So thank you for having me on today, Glove.

45:25Well, listen, folks, I don't know what the audio issue is,
45:30but this has just been wonderful, Jason Raypert,
45:33and I'm going to join the National Association
45:35of Christian Lawmakers.
45:36That's just a wonderful group.
45:38And Walker-Walman is on their board,
45:40and I'm so glad of that.
45:42But folks, I want to tell you another spiritually charged day.
45:46It was October 17 of 2024.
45:50And Kamala Harris was at a rally.
45:52And the audio is so clear.
45:55Later, some of her people tried to backpedal it
45:57and say she didn't hear this, but no, she did.
46:00The audio is crystal clear.
46:02Someone shouts out, Jesus is Lord.
46:06And then candidate Kamala Harris quickly replied,
46:11you're at the wrong rally and people applauded.
46:16So sad.
46:17Jason, can you hear me now?
46:18Do you know if you can you hear me?
46:21Well, I'm just going to wrap it up here.
46:23Here's my point.
46:24The Bible says God is not mocked.
46:27And whatever we say, we will reap.
46:29And you know what?
46:30Listen, Lord knows, Lord knows we wish no ill to anyone.
46:35The Bible says God is long suffering,
46:37not willing that any should perish.
46:39And every true Christian wants people saved.
46:43Those that are engaged in immorality,
46:46those that have been pro-abortion,
46:48those that have been for atheism
46:50and the banning of the Ten Commandments
46:53and the undermining of our liberties,
46:55we wish them no ill.
46:56In fact, we pray for their soul.
46:57We want them to be saved and know Jesus.
47:00But at the very same time,
47:02we are in a fight of light versus dark.
47:05But here's one third day that I'm going to mention
47:09that is a spiritually charged day
47:12and a potentially positive day.
47:14And that's this day, folks.
47:17The day that you in your heart would say,
47:20do you know what?
47:21I'm going to be brave.
47:22I'm going to have courage.
47:23I'm going to speak truth.
47:25And Lord, if you will cleanse me, fill me, send me, use me.
47:30I'm going to stand up for what's right.
47:32I'm not going to just sit by passively and let the darkness sweep our freedoms away.
47:38I'm not going to do nothing while our kids and grandkids end up living in a Marxist police
47:45state.
47:46I'm going to step out of my comfort zone and I will say my prayers and I will influence
47:51those around me and I'm going to make a difference.
47:54Folks, that can be you.
47:55That should be you.
47:57That must be you.
47:59This is the day that you take your stand and you'll say,
48:03for God in country, I'm gonna make a difference.
48:06You know what?
48:07God lit a fire in my heart many, many years ago,
48:10that fire burns to this day.
48:12And I'm pretty introverted, timid guy,
48:17but we couldn't stay silent.
48:19And I pray that the boldness that will change lives,
48:23God will birth in you this day.
48:26So, take a stand and know 1 Corinthians 1558,
48:30your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
48:33Well, folks, what a great day it's been,
48:34and I thank Jason Raper for being with us,
