  8. 0:24Even in this dark moment.
  9. 0:26Let's not miss our moment.
  10. 0:29And now the Hamilton Corner.
  11. 0:31Good evening, everyone.
  12. 0:34Welcome to the Hamilton Corner here on American Family Radio.
  13. 0:37I'm your host, Abraham Hamilton III,
  14. 0:41and the builder with the corner contingent right across from me,
  15. 0:43my man 100 grand who's back.
  16. 0:48Mr. Bobby Rosa is in the building,
  17. 0:52and in the screening room,
  18. 0:53produced extraordinaire often imitated,
  19. 0:55but never duplicated the real J-Mac.
  20. 0:58Ladies and gentlemen, the real J-Mac is in the building.
  21. 1:01So that we're ready to rock and roll with today's edition of the program.
  22. 1:08At this very moment, many of you, if not most of you are making your transition from your
  23. 1:13part time jobs where you generate an income to your full time jobs, where you cultivate
  24. 1:17an outcome.
  25. 1:18And as you do so, I want to remind you to do so with intentionality, understanding the
  26. 1:23primacy that God places on the family that we've had this recent elections and like many
  27. 1:31of you, I'm grateful to God for his mercy as I've said and I will continue to say that God was merciful
  28. 1:37to us, but the Lord bestowed his mercy upon us for a purpose. How will we respond to what has been
  29. 1:47done? What goes on in your house is still more important than what goes on in the White House.
  30. 1:56You have the expressed opportunity to engage in eternal matters while simultaneously shaping
  31. 2:04The quality of the nation that we live in and that we will live in going forward should the Lord Terry
  32. 2:12By your contribution to our nation
  33. 2:16That is just a simple reality
  34. 2:18What goes on in your house is still far more important than what goes on in the White House and
  35. 2:25We must we must we must
  36. 2:28Serve the Lord with a clarity and an understanding
  37. 2:31That is commission should be our life's priority
  38. 2:35There are lots of other things that we can do.
  39. 2:38There are lots of other things that we must do.
  40. 2:40For those other can do's and must do's
  41. 2:42should not supplant the command of our Lord and King.
  42. 2:49While I am, as I said, grateful for the Lord's mercy,
  43. 2:53I wanna spend some time in the scripture today
  44. 2:56because it's very easy to misunderstand God's blessings.
  45. 3:01It's very easy to take the attention from the blesser
  46. 3:06and focus solely on the blessings
  47. 3:08as they are presented to us.
  48. 3:11So as you're making your transition,
  49. 3:13let today be a day if you have not done so.
  50. 3:16And I know for many of you, it's a challenge.
  51. 3:20It's a challenge to make it a habit
  52. 3:23to exalt the Lord right in your home.
  53. 3:26The scripture teaches that it's not the church's responsibility
  54. 3:30to make disciples of our children.
  55. 3:32That's the responsibility of parents.
  56. 3:34Churches have a role however,
  57. 3:36but it is a supportive role to the family.
  58. 3:40We are to be the first responders, if you will.
  59. 3:43We are to be the ones that lead out
  60. 3:46in what happens in our children.
  61. 3:47And as you've heard me say numerous times,
  62. 3:50we cannot be disciple-makers
  63. 3:52without being disciples ourselves.
  64. 3:55Can't do it.
  65. 3:56You gotta be a disciple to make a disciple.
  66. 3:59And so I want to encourage everybody to understand
  67. 4:03that what happens in your house,
  68. 4:05what happens in your home shapes the culture shaping
  69. 4:08in your home must be job number one.
  70. 4:12And then as you've heard me say,
  71. 4:13numerous, numerous times living locally,
  72. 4:16we work outwardly from home base into community,
  73. 4:20into county, into state, et cetera,
  74. 4:22but not the opposite way around for too long.
  75. 4:24We thought that we needed top down engagement.
  76. 4:27We know everything that's going on in Washington DC.
  77. 4:30And then we won't even know what's on our children's
  78. 4:34cell phones.
  79. 4:36That's a problem.
  80. 4:38And I understand that we're all in different stages of life,
  81. 4:43but regardless of the stage that you're in,
  82. 4:46if you are a Christ follower as I am,
  83. 4:47we are mandated by our King to execute his commission.
  84. 4:52To the word of God we go.
  85. 4:54Second Chronicles chapter 26.
  86. 4:57Second Chronicles chapter 26 is where I wanna go.
  87. 5:00And there's lots of policy things
  88. 5:01that I'm gonna get to later on,
  89. 5:02but I just feel compelled to have the conversation
  90. 5:04we're gonna have today.
  91. 5:06There's a vital Senate majority leader,
  92. 5:12secret ballot vote that's gonna take place Wednesday
  93. 5:15because the turtle, Mitch McConnell,
  94. 5:17decided to move the date up.
  95. 5:21So you're gonna have a secret vote for Senate majority leader
  96. 5:23before the new senators who contributed
  97. 5:25to the Republican majority being accomplished.
  98. 5:29They won't even be inaugurated yet.
  99. 5:36But there's something I believe we have to address
  100. 5:38before we even get to that.
  101. 5:39Second Chronicle, Chapter 26.
  102. 5:40We're going to focus on verses 26, sorry,
  103. 5:44chapter 26, verses 12 through 20.
  104. 5:48Many of you may know, some of you who may be new
  105. 5:51to the program or may not be familiar with this portion
  106. 5:54of the scripture.
  107. 5:56King Uzziah is one of the most prosperous kings of Judah
  108. 6:01in Judas history.
  109. 6:03You know, you look at the Mount Rushmore,
  110. 6:06so to speak of Old Testament kings of Israel and Judah,
  111. 6:10Most Bible expositors will have King David on it, King Solomon, and guess who will be next? King Uzziah.
  112. 6:17This is the same King Uzziah that Isaiah's prophetic writings begin with.
  113. 6:21In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord. I've shared before that King Uzziah was such an outsized figure
  114. 6:27in the life of Judah that many had a hard time seeing.
  115. 6:31Yahweh because Uzziah was such a prominent figure.
  116. 6:36He led massive military conquests for Judah, massive capital campaigns that the nation was
  117. 6:46its well, almost its wealthiest next to Solomon under Uzziah.
  118. 6:49It was more wealthy even under Uzziah than it was under David.
  119. 6:56And so that is a part of the backdrop we know often about the boy King Josiah who became
  120. 7:00a king of Judah when he was eight.
  121. 7:02King Oziah is another boy King who became King when he was 16 years old.
  122. 7:06All right.
  123. 7:08And when he was young, the scripture tells us this, he had humility about him.
  124. 7:11He was small in his own eyes, which I don't know what comes next if you know the scripture,
  125. 7:15but when he was strong, his life took a different course.
  126. 7:18We're going to look into that today.
  127. 7:21First Chronicles, sorry, second Chronicles 26 verse 12.
  128. 7:25I'm going to pick up at verse 12.
  129. 7:28The total number of the heads of the households of valiant warriors was 2,600.
  130. 7:35Under their direction was an elite army of 307,500 who could wage war with great power to
  131. 7:42help the king against the enemy.
  132. 7:45Moreover, Uzziah prepared for all the army's shields, spears, helmets, body armor, bows,
  133. 7:52and sling stones.
  134. 7:54In Jerusalem, check this out.
  135. 7:56Jerusalem, he made engines of war. Some translations there say machines of war,
  136. 8:03invented by skillful men to be on the towers and on the corners for the purpose
  137. 8:10of shooting arrows in great stones. His fame spread afar, for he was marvellously
  138. 8:17helped until he was strong. But when he became strong, his heart was so proud that
  139. 8:26that he acted corruptly and he was unfaithful to the Lord his God, for he entered the temple of the Lord to burn in sense on the altar of incense.
  140. 8:35Then as a ride the priest entered after him and with him eighty priests of the Lord, valiant men, they opposed us either King said to him, it is not for you who's I to burn incense to the Lord.
  141. 8:46But for the priest, the sons of Aaron who are consecrated to burn incense, get out of the sanctuary, for you have been unfaithful and will have no honor from the Lord God.
  142. 8:55But Uzziah with the center in his hand for burning incense was enraged.
  143. 8:59And while he was enraged with the priests, the leprosy broke out on his forehead before
  144. 9:05the priests in the house of the Lord beside the altar of incense.
  145. 9:10As Ariah the chief priest and all the priests looked at him and behold he was lepros on
  146. 9:14his forehead and they hurried him out of there and he himself also hastened to get out because
  147. 9:19the Lord had smitten him.
  148. 9:24This is what I want to present to you.
  149. 9:26Zaya when he was young, was dependent upon the Lord, the Lord,
  150. 9:29as the scripture says, helped him marvelously.
  151. 9:32He presided over massive military campaigns, presided over massive
  152. 9:36capital campaigns in the nation of Judah, building a transcendent structure.
  153. 9:43You know, as the scripture says he presided over massive, a military
  154. 9:48innovation.
  155. 9:50They not only had had a abundant weaponry, but under his reign, they were
  156. 9:55able to invent new methods of prosecuting warfare. They were technologically advanced in comparison
  157. 10:03to the world around him, in all of this abundance, in all of this wealth, in all of this prosperity,
  158. 10:08in all of this favor, Uzziah misinterpreted it. Uzziah lost sight of the fact that God is the one
  159. 10:19from whom, as the Apostle James explains, all good and perfect gifts flow from.
  160. 10:23And he allowed pride to settle in his heart and his misinterpret his misinterpretation of
  161. 10:30God's provision led him to act in an untoward manner, act in an untoward manner to where he
  162. 10:39even sought to corrupt the priesthood in Judah.
  163. 10:43The reason why I'm bringing this to you attention because this is a biblical account of a blessing
  164. 10:48me in misinterpretation.
  165. 10:51I have great concern that there are some among us who are
  166. 10:55misinterpreting the mercy that God has shown our nation in this
  167. 11:00most recent election, misinterpreting it. You know, I'm seeing
  168. 11:05some with this is all jubilation with no sobriety. And I'm not
  169. 11:10trying to put a wet blanket on anybody. I understand the
  170. 11:13jubilation, you know, you might have caught me in November 6
  171. 11:15hitting a little, you know, but the sobriety is necessary because
  172. 11:21We need to understand the mercy of God that was bestowed upon us and also understand that
  173. 11:26God grants his mercy purposefully.
  174. 11:31And if we do not properly appreciate the moment that we're in, we very well, similar to Isaiah,
  175. 11:39may misconstrued this grant of mercy and allow things to persist.
  176. 11:43I mentioned before at the exact same time, you have states like Florida who went red, voted
  177. 11:49for President Trump.
  178. 11:51forget that you also had the unfettered slaughter of unborn children on the exact same ballot.
  179. 11:56And let me let you in on this, the same state that vote for President Trump went red, 56%
  180. 12:03of Floridians voted for President Trump. But guess what? Though amendment four failed in Florida,
  181. 12:0957% plus percent of Floridians voted to amend their Constitution to protect the unfettered
  182. 12:17slaughter of the innocence all the way up to the 40th week of gestation.
  183. 12:21Guys, there is much to be done.
  184. 12:28I've explained it before and I'm going to say it again.
  185. 12:30God has granted our nation a reprieve.
  186. 12:33That's a respite.
  187. 12:36That's not total and complete re-establishment of what truly makes a nation great.
  188. 12:45A booming stock market doesn't make a nation great.
  189. 12:51Tax cuts do not make a nation great.
  190. 12:54Having a well protected border.
  191. 12:56So unless I want the border, shut down that poor as border.
  192. 13:00But those things do not make a nation great.
  193. 13:02The scripture tells us what makes a nation great.
  194. 13:05And I am concerned that in this process,
  195. 13:07we're also facing a practical redefinition
  196. 13:10of conservatism being fused kinda with a godless populism
  197. 13:15that will have people being willing to,
  198. 13:17eh, the stuff that God cares about,
  199. 13:19I don't really care about.
  200. 13:21And let's be clear, God cares about everything.
  201. 13:24But as many of you heard last week
  202. 13:25my conversation with Tim Barton, George Washington
  203. 13:29in his farewell address laid out a bunch of things
  204. 13:32about this American Republic that are important.
  205. 13:35That's important, yes, they're important.
  206. 13:38But there are two things he said
  207. 13:39that are indispensable supports.
  208. 13:43Indispensable supports.
  209. 13:44These are indispensable components of the foundation.
  210. 13:47And if you move any one of them,
  211. 13:49the structure will crumble.
  212. 13:53A lot of people have looked at some of the things,
  213. 13:55man, America's turn this way.
  214. 13:56Our country is going this way.
  215. 13:58Even President Trump was saying we are failing nation,
  216. 14:00but they don't go far enough to identify and diagnose why.
  217. 14:05George Washington said,
  218. 14:06religion and morality are indispensable supports.
  219. 14:08The scripture tells us righteousness, exultination,
  220. 14:11sinners are approached to any people.
  221. 14:14So I want to caution us while we celebrate,
  222. 14:19let's make sure we understand what we're celebrating.
  223. 14:21It's not just a vaunted,
  224. 14:23pomp and circumstance parade, it is the mercies of God
  225. 14:26that says, you guys were headed to the brink
  226. 14:28And our whole, woah, kimosabi, I won't let you go off just yet.
  227. 14:34But he gave us this reprieve so that we can properly understand it and respond accordingly.
  228. 14:39Much of what has transpired hollowing out the core of the conscious of the American populace
  229. 14:46is because we have not made disciples.
  230. 14:49Job number one must be disciple making as we take full advantage of the mercy of God
  231. 14:56in this reprieve he's granted our land.
  232. 15:04Shining light into the darkness.
  233. 15:06This is the Hamilton Corner, an American family radio.
  234. 15:10Welcome back to the Hamilton Corner,
  235. 15:12Abraham Hamilton III here.
  236. 15:14I truly pray that the Lord will cause what I was just talking
  237. 15:19about to settle in on us because there's lots of work to be done.
  238. 15:22The electoral processes weren't the end of anything.
  239. 15:27It was a Lord giving us an opportunity for a new beginning,
  240. 15:29You know, and that beginning includes a cultivating a culture that understands why life is precious.
  241. 15:38You know, it includes a culture that understands, you know, and I try to use this analogy because there are some people who conflate, you know, civic affairs with things like taxation and and and wanting to be secure in your private property.
  242. 15:52But why is it wrong for have the forceful confiscation of your of your wealth?
  243. 15:58You know, why is that wrong?
  244. 16:02All policy prescriptions are
  245. 16:04undergirded by foundational determination of right versus wrong.
  246. 16:10Otherwise known as morality.
  247. 16:13That's just an inescapable truth,
  248. 16:16it's an inescapable truth.
  249. 16:19And we have to understand and embrace it
  250. 16:22and advocate for it very simply as we rejoice
  251. 16:31in the Lord's mercy.
  252. 16:32Now, you know, this story just made me sad.
  253. 16:36And I remember when this came out,
  254. 16:38I'm not gonna spend a whole lot of time here.
  255. 16:41But when early reports were made,
  256. 16:44that even in disaster recovery,
  257. 16:46people were allowing partisanship to overwhelm them.
  258. 16:48I can't tell you the number of screams I've seen,
  259. 16:51that if your family votes this way,
  260. 16:53you shouldn't even have them over for Thanksgiving.
  261. 16:55Man, listen, don't allow your family
  262. 16:57to be destroyed over politics.
  263. 17:00That's insane.
  264. 17:02And all these people being hyperbolic,
  265. 17:04they've had for the last several years.
  266. 17:06Trump is not seeing and then you have Joe Biden welcome down to the White House
  267. 17:11No, none of these pundits are talking about him being hit us up now. They actually well
  268. 17:15That was a little you'd rhetoric and they're walking us up back
  269. 17:19And these from the same people that lied to us about all kind of other things
  270. 17:22No, this is a pandemic of the facts unvaccinated
  271. 17:26Okay
  272. 17:26Joe Biden is as fit as a fiddle. He says he's the best he's ever been and then next day
  273. 17:35Can I can't believe it?
  274. 17:38I won't believe it, I can't believe it,
  275. 17:40you'll buy it and cannot complete this sentence man.
  276. 17:44The same people.
  277. 17:45Man, don't let these folks divide your families.
  278. 17:52Love your family.
  279. 17:55That doesn't mean passively accept everything you have to offer.
  280. 18:01No, but you can be respectable,
  281. 18:04respectful, I'm sorry, respectful and loving.
  282. 18:08Don't allow this stuff to divide your families.
  283. 18:10Many people are divided because frankly they've been listening to lies.
  284. 18:15The story I was getting to is this this this deal with this uh, I have our name right here
  285. 18:21Let me get to it this fema official
  286. 18:25Marney Washington
  287. 18:27You know in florida literally put it in a directive in writing instructing fema employees
  288. 18:32If there are any homes in florida after the hurricane sitting floor any homes that have any advertisement of trump don't help them
  289. 18:41That's crazy
  290. 18:45People reporting and oh there's no way this is happening and then there you go
  291. 18:48They really wire finds the memo and now females fired this lady
  292. 18:52Marney Washington
  293. 18:54terminated because she's using partisanship to determine whether or not she's gonna help people after a hurricane
  294. 19:01That's just sick man. That's just sick
  295. 19:08If I it really really sends me that there are people that are that
  296. 19:17willing to be
  297. 19:18Vehicles of evil because that's what that is all right couple things and look I'm just the messenger
  298. 19:29And I stand by what I say we shall we must not misinterpret God's mercy
  299. 19:36It's also interesting to see how
  300. 19:39certain things just
  301. 19:41seem to happen within the first 72 hours
  302. 19:46after President Trump
  303. 19:48Was formally announced to the world as not only 45th but the 47th
  304. 19:53President of the United States and and I want to give these to you
  305. 19:57with the receipts because I don't want anybody saying, really, it's for you.
  306. 20:01I don't want anybody telling you, ah, where did you hear that?
  307. 20:03That's not true.
  308. 20:05Let's first toggle over to the European Union.
  309. 20:07All right.
  310. 20:08Now, many of you may recall and I've said, shared this on this program under President
  311. 20:13Trump, the United States of America became a net exporter of resources, including
  312. 20:21liquid natural gas.
  313. 20:23One of the things that we have by God's grace in our nation, a significant supply of I and
  314. 20:32many others have said, why are we important?
  315. 20:36What we're importing?
  316. 20:37Why?
  317. 20:38Why do we have such an imbalance of imports and exports, particularly as as it pertains
  318. 20:43to what they call fossil fuels, Ursula von der Leyen, von der Leyen, however you say her
  319. 20:53last name.
  320. 20:55is the president of the European Union Commission. The day after President Trump is elected,
  321. 21:05she had an announcement. You know what this announcement is, Bobby? You don't know it. Okay.
  322. 21:13She had an announcement and I announced her sounding something like this, of course,
  323. 21:17with her European accent, but I'm a translator for y'all. You know, I've been thinking, I've been
  324. 21:23thinking about something, Jeff. You know, we get this stuff called liquid natural gas.
  325. 21:27Why are we still buying this from Russia?
  326. 21:30We probably don't need to buy any of this stuff from Russia.
  327. 21:34We should probably start buying our liquid natural gas from America.
  328. 21:38You know, costless, which will bring our energy prices down, which will be better for our
  329. 21:44economy.
  330. 21:46Well, man, wonder what made us start having that thought process that she didn't have before
  331. 21:53President Trump's election.
  332. 21:55But now all of a sudden, she's saying, you know what?
  333. 21:58should consider buying our natural gas from the United States of America.
  334. 22:02Listen to and watch clip number one.
  335. 22:04Go.
  336. 22:05I would not say discuss but we talked about yesterday.
  337. 22:08It's the whole topic of LNG.
  338. 22:10We still get a lot of LNG via Russia from Russia.
  339. 22:14And why not replace it by American LNG, which is cheaper for us and brings down our energy
  340. 22:22prices.
  341. 22:23But it's something where we can get into a discussion,
  342. 22:27also what our trade deficit is concerned.
  343. 22:30So engage, look at common interest, and then negotiate.
  344. 23:02incidents? Well maybe the A-B you know it's just a one-off. Surely nothing else
  345. 23:12is happening in the world. Well a lot of things just seem to be happening so the
  346. 23:18European Union all of a sudden they want to talk about buying gas from America. Oh
  347. 23:24and specifically no longer buying it from Russia well what else might be
  348. 23:28happening? Well yeah not too much except now I'm gonna give you all the details
  349. 23:33it is. Guitar, all of a sudden, coincidentally, reports began to surface. That guitar has
  350. 23:43agreed to kick Hamas leaders out of their country. Yes. Guitar has said, you know, see
  351. 23:52the thing is, it's not you, it's me. You know, we don't want you guys here any longer.
  352. 24:02And it just so happened that these reports began to surface within hours of President Trump
  353. 24:11getting elected.
  354. 24:12Listen to and watch clip number two go.
  355. 24:15Qatar reportedly agreeing to oust Hamas from its country.
  356. 24:20Of course, it's been shielding many of the terrorist leaders and their money after a request
  357. 24:25from the U.S. due to the terror group's resistance to the ceasefire and release of hostages.
  358. 24:31deal now for 400 days.
  359. 24:33Huh?
  360. 24:34Now what do you know?
  361. 24:36Because it's not like the Qataris have been hosting the Hamas leadership in their nation
  362. 24:43and all their money for all this time.
  363. 24:45It's not like that's been happening.
  364. 24:47Or is it?
  365. 24:48Because the Qataris have been hosting Hamas leadership.
  366. 24:53Now I want to be fair.
  367. 24:54I want to be fair.
  368. 24:56You know, and notice the Qataris did so in response to a U.S. request.
  369. 25:00According to the reports, the US requested this several weeks ago.
  370. 25:05Several weeks ago.
  371. 25:06Wait, long before the election.
  372. 25:07Oh, yeah, long before the election.
  373. 25:10But you didn't see stories reporting the Qataris agreeing to do it until after Mr. Trump was
  374. 25:19elected again in the coincidence.
  375. 25:22Now I want to be clear.
  376. 25:24Hamas spokesperson has heard about these reports and said, this is not true.
  377. 25:28Qatar isn't kicking us out yet.
  378. 25:36The reports are even more detailed that this is due to the lack of movement by Hamas leadership
  379. 25:43to bring the war with Israel to an end and to embrace the release of hostages, how they
  380. 25:50have American hostages.
  381. 25:51And they've had American hostages since, I don't know, October 7th of 2023.
  382. 25:57I didn't really hear anything about Qatar kicking Hamas out of the country.
  383. 26:04But Mr. Trump is elected and then all of a sudden,
  384. 26:08news at 10, Qatar agrees to kick Hamas leadership
  385. 26:12out of their country pursuant to US request.
  386. 26:17Now, I'm not saying they did it because
  387. 26:21President Trump was elected.
  388. 26:23But can I say it, it don't have anything to do with it?
  389. 26:26So let's just see if the European Union wants to buy
  390. 26:31American liquid natural gas and Qatar is kicking Hamas out.
  391. 26:37Now, when do you think I was happening?
  392. 26:39And all of a sudden Vladimir Putin is willing to talk about bringing the Ukrainian war to
  393. 26:51an end.
  394. 26:56And the exact quote includes Vladimir Putin saying, well, let me say it this way.
  395. 27:00Quote, in reference to President Trump, Vladimir Putin says he, referring to Trump, behaved in
  396. 27:06my opinion in a very correct way, courageously like a real man.
  397. 27:11End quote.
  398. 27:12Talk about after you guys shot.
  399. 27:13And he said, then he continued, quote, what was said about the desire to bring about the end of the Ukrainian crisis, in my opinion, this deserves attention.
  400. 27:22Oh, end quote.
  401. 27:24Well, he didn't say the whole was mine.
  402. 27:25He didn't say, ah, that was me.
  403. 27:27That wasn't in the quote.
  404. 27:30It's amazing.
  405. 27:31Now all of a sudden, and so you just the same Vladimir Putin.
  406. 27:34Then let me see two, three, character one, Barack Obama's in office and rest to take primeo.
  407. 27:43Let me add, let me get that out to chief.
  408. 27:45President Trump is in office.
  409. 27:47And you can hear a rodent
  410. 27:52Mictorating on cotton
  411. 27:53Don't go and look that one up. Then mr. J. Robin that shows up then his full-on invasion of Ukraine interesting now
  412. 28:03But then I was a president Trump's election
  413. 28:07Vladimir Putin is saying what was said
  414. 28:12About the desire to bring an into the Ukrainian crisis in my opinion deserves attention
  415. 28:18So let me see what's the score by me? So you're being you wants to buy a liquid natural gas from us and not Russia
  416. 28:24Huh.
  417. 28:27Qatar wants to kick Hamas leaders out of the country.
  418. 28:36And at the same time, the European Union is saying, we're going to switch potentially,
  419. 28:41of course, let me, we don't want to be over, we don't want to be too potentially switch
  420. 28:44their natural gas purchases from Russia to the United States of America, because it's
  421. 28:49cheaper.
  422. 28:51Bring our energy prices down.
  423. 28:53And that's in.
  424. 28:54Oh, all this guys is within 72 hours, by the way, of the November 60 election.
  425. 29:00All right.
  426. 29:01Is that?
  427. 29:02You know what?
  428. 29:03Even more things happen.
  429. 29:04And there's something, I don't even know if I have time to share this with you guys before
  430. 29:08we go to the break.
  431. 29:10Maybe we do.
  432. 29:12The former sanctuary city, New York, Mayor Eric Adams had an announcement to make within
  433. 29:20hours of President Trump's reelection.
  434. 29:24Let me just see, let's see what it says.
  435. 29:28Click number three.
  436. 29:29Watch this and listen, go.
  437. 29:31city is ending as controversial program that gives debit cards to migrants.
  438. 29:36The city has now spent $3.6 million on those debit cards for about 2,600 migrant
  439. 29:42families who are staying in shelters without kitchen access. Now the mayor's
  440. 29:47office says that when the program finishes at the end of the year, they
  441. 29:50will go back to providing those migrants boxed meals. I am worried about these
  442. 29:55families because we're gonna go right back to where we were in the beginning
  443. 29:58where families used to come to me and say, I'm getting frozen meals at the shelters.
  444. 30:03I'm getting these boxed meals with just crackers and sandwiches and this is all I'm getting.
  445. 30:09The debit cards were provided by the company Mobility Capital Finance through a no-bid contract.
  446. 30:16So Mobility Capital Finance had a contract with the City of New York, which by the way,
  447. 30:21the contract was a $53 million contract, you see. And it was the financial partner that provided
  448. 30:29illegal immigrants in New York City with preloaded debit cards where they had bi-weekly deposits
  449. 30:36depending on family sizes of no less than $350 a week.
  450. 30:39Families sizes reaching up to eight members in a family got as much as $2,203 per week.
  451. 30:51The debit cards were supposed to be used for the illegal immigrants to buy groceries in
  452. 30:56New York City.
  453. 30:57And it just so happened within hours of President Trump's election that New York City, Mayor
  454. 31:04Eric Adams, announced the termination of this program.
  455. 31:09Now I want to be fair, the program was created by contract and the contract was set to expire
  456. 31:16in January.
  457. 31:18But the contract was expected to have the potential to be renewed.
  458. 31:21But within hours of President Trump's reelection, Mayor Eric Adams decided we're not going to
  459. 31:27to renew this program. Huh? What's that on the scoreboard Bobby? You're in European Union.
  460. 31:37Qatar kicking out Hamas. Russia wants to talk about ending the Ukrainian war in New
  461. 31:45York City is no longer given prepaid groceries, prepaid debit cards for groceries to illegal
  462. 31:52aliens within hours after the election. The Hamilton Quarter podcast and one-minute
  463. 32:06Common Terrence are available at aFR.net
  464. 32:09back to the Hamilton Corner on American Family Radio.
  465. 32:14Welcome back to the Hamilton Corner.
  466. 32:15Oh, oh, y'all thought I was, oh no, no, no, no.
  467. 32:17There's still more things.
  468. 32:18This is all within the first 72 hours after election, guys,
  469. 32:21after the election.
  470. 32:22And I'm just sharing this again.
  471. 32:25I'm not saying there's a direct line of cause and effect,
  472. 32:28but I am just saying it is interesting
  473. 32:29that all of these things have happened.
  474. 32:31Things have not been happening that just seem to happen.
  475. 32:35Here's another one.
  476. 32:36You're ready for this one?
  477. 32:37But then hours of President Trump's election,
  478. 32:41the stock market went through the roof.
  479. 32:44Listen to and watch this.
  480. 32:45Clip number four.
  481. 32:471,200 points on the Dow Jones industrial average.
  482. 32:49That's, we're looking at record highs
  483. 32:51and all these major averages.
  484. 32:52That's a big move.
  485. 32:53And when you look at smaller cap stocks,
  486. 32:55they're even doing better than that.
  487. 32:57Because the idea here is that second Trump administration
  488. 33:00would wipe away an awful lot of regulations,
  489. 33:03regulations that cost small business money.
  490. 33:04So that's what the going thinking is here this morning on that also perhaps corporate tax cuts and tax cuts
  491. 33:10That's one reason why you're gonna see the banks go up here. You're seeing Tesla. That's Elon Musk Donald Trump's good friend
  492. 33:15His company is soaring today about 13% the idea that Donald Trump is not a friend of subsidies and investments in green energy
  493. 33:22So if he undoes that that's actually good for the big player that is Elon Musk
  494. 33:30Interesting now that one was a little bit more predictable because many in the financial markets, you know
  495. 33:36Well, that's something that has tended to happen,
  496. 33:38but I'm talking about not only that it occurred,
  497. 33:41but the height of the spike, if you will.
  498. 33:46I was like, man, these guys, very interesting.
  499. 33:51And then, I don't want you to forget this,
  500. 33:54but, and I didn't talk about this as much
  501. 33:56as I probably needed to,
  502. 33:57but I was talking more about the election,
  503. 33:59but there was a migrant caravan that had developed
  504. 34:03that had accumulated thousands of people traveling
  505. 34:06Northward through Mexico heading toward our southern border, but within hours of President
  506. 34:13Trump's election, the migrant caravan in Mexico dissipated.
  507. 34:22Huh.
  508. 34:25Listen to and watch clip number five.
  509. 34:27Go.
  510. 34:28And now shifting focus to the southern border with Mexico, where hundreds of migrants are
  511. 34:32abandoning their journey towards the United States.
  512. 34:36The caravan which began earlier this week with around 3,000 migrants has now dwindled to just
  513. 34:41half after Donald Trump won re-election.
  514. 34:47We wanted to get to the United States.
  515. 34:49Now that Trump won, we do not know what to do.
  516. 34:52Maybe God's will, since we are taking this course that we have to arrive, even if it is
  517. 34:58to knock on the door to see if they open it for us.
  518. 35:00I don't know what to do anymore, because we left a very terrible regime, returning to
  519. 35:05Venezuela is like being shot in the head.
  520. 35:08Now I want to be clear about something.
  521. 35:12My heart breaks for people whose home country is so impoverished or so in the instances where
  522. 35:21it is violence, is so violent that they have to leave there to try to go elsewhere.
  523. 35:28But remember President Trump's remaining Mexico policy required those who were legitimately
  524. 35:32seeking asylum have to make that application within the next safest country.
  525. 35:37You can't travel through and many of the those caravan components according to reports included
  526. 35:43Guadalmala and Venezuela.
  527. 35:45They're going through Mexico and we should have a conversation about why Mexico is like
  528. 35:50you can't stop here.
  529. 35:52You know, and I understand that people don't take that trick casually.
  530. 35:58You know, I got a daughter.
  531. 35:59I'm looking at this man on the screen with his daughter.
  532. 36:01daughters, my heart breaks for them. Well, at the same time, we cannot take in the world's
  533. 36:07poor. And if we're going to be a nation that absorbs people who legitimately pursue asylum,
  534. 36:12we have to have a legal process. We can't have people overrunning and overwhelming our border,
  535. 36:18you know? So the question should be presented. And obviously, the answer I should say is pretty
  536. 36:24obvious. People traveling to the United States, they're paying attention to the elections. If
  537. 36:35There's a Biden, Kamala Obama, see, there's a Trump, no Biden, Kamala Biden, see, let's
  538. 36:46go.
  539. 36:47Vamos Trump, no, there's a woman I was interviewed by Reuters.
  540. 36:52Her name was Valerie Andrade of Venezuelan migrant.
  541. 36:59She told a reporter, quote, I had hoped she told her in Spanish.
  542. 37:01So this is translated into into into English.
  543. 37:04I had hoped Kamala Harris would win, but that didn't happen.
  544. 37:09End quote.
  545. 37:10He was going to be, why did you hold camel hairs with win?
  546. 37:16Venezuela migrant, Jelly Mar who didn't want to give his last name,
  547. 37:20because he's still going to try to come, you know, he said,
  548. 37:23quote, I remain hopeful that I get to keep my appointment in America,
  549. 37:28that I made through the CBP one app.
  550. 37:31I'm hoping to get in the country before Trump comes into office in January.
  551. 37:38Guys, this is crazy.
  552. 37:40This is crazy.
  553. 37:41And the thing always, America has always been the nation of immigrants.
  554. 37:45You won't find any Americans.
  555. 37:48Or if you do, you find very few who are on the far margins
  556. 37:52of society, you won't find any Americans who would say
  557. 37:56that we shouldn't have a legal immigration process.
  558. 37:59The problem is twofold.
  559. 38:00We have been overwhelmed by illegal immigration.
  560. 38:04So before we can even have a recalibration
  561. 38:06of the legal immigration process,
  562. 38:08we have to stop the overrunning of illegal immigration.
  563. 38:11We have to get rid of, and this makes people nervous,
  564. 38:15But we have to deport the people who have broken our laws
  565. 38:17to come here in the first place.
  566. 38:21And they thought Trump was playing about his deportation plan,
  567. 38:23but you see Tom Holman is back.
  568. 38:25Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
  569. 38:27Tom Holman ain't playing with you,
  570. 38:29who has made the new border,
  571. 38:32is in charge of the border.
  572. 38:35Then the other thing is,
  573. 38:37and you've heard me reporting this program,
  574. 38:41that you have people coming into our country
  575. 38:43from our southern border,
  576. 38:44that are Russian, that are Ukrainian,
  577. 38:46that are Chinese,
  578. 38:48that are Iranian, that are Afghani, Afghanistan,
  579. 38:54they're getting here.
  580. 38:58You know, the whistle's been blown on the fact
  581. 39:00that you have the United Nations
  582. 39:01coordinating with these people
  583. 39:04as well as the Democrat party coordinating
  584. 39:06with these people to overrun our southern border.
  585. 39:09And the American people say, no, we don't want any more of these.
  586. 39:11So I just wanted to get, guys, there are more things.
  587. 39:13I just wanted to give you,
  588. 39:14those are a few of the things that happened
  589. 39:16within hours of President Trump's election.
  590. 39:24these are things that I'm encouraged by.
  591. 39:29But as David Wheaton said during the break,
  592. 39:34I'm grateful for civic policies,
  593. 39:38but there's only one in whom salvation comes.
  594. 39:42And with the mercy it got bestowed upon us,
  595. 39:47we have to confront the fact that there has been a hollowing out of our nation
  596. 39:53in the hearts of who we are, not just on a periphery with civic policies.
  597. 39:58I've been warning that 2024 could be to America,
  598. 40:03America with 1998 was the Venezuela by God's grace. It is not.
  599. 40:10Thanks be to God. But we cannot misinterpret what is happening
  600. 40:16here. I also think it's appropriate that here we are
  601. 40:19today on the day when our nation is honoring veterans for our
  602. 40:23nation. Thank you to every single veteran for your service to
  603. 40:28our nation. The words have been frankly ring true in my heart.
  604. 40:33just as if I was there when he uttered them the first time when he was asked
  605. 40:37leaving Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Philadelphia, whatever you wrought,
  606. 40:41oh Benjamin, his response, a republic if you can keep it, if you can keep it.
  607. 40:50The reality is this experiment in individual liberty, this American constitutional
  608. 40:55republican form of government is only effective when you have a people who have an internal metric
  609. 41:05of self-governance. That self-governance, the Bible reveals, is provided to us as a fruit
  610. 41:12of His Spirit. Self-control is a fruit of His Spirit. When you see the fruit of His Spirit
  611. 41:18in dwelling us, when you see a concerted effort in our nation to cast off our forms of governance,
  612. 41:28to cast off our historical moorings.
  613. 41:32And I'm not talking about lies, I'm talking about truth.
  614. 41:38It is because there is a fura within our nation
  615. 41:42to jettison what we have been
  616. 41:45and to make us something entirely different
  617. 41:48and foreign from what we have been.
  618. 41:51There has never been a time in American history
  619. 41:53when our nation has been perfect.
  620. 41:55Our founders were flawed.
  621. 41:57This is why I've always said we should honor the Lord
  622. 42:00for what he's done through our founders,
  623. 42:02that we do not deify our founders however.
  624. 42:05We reflect on what God has done through them.
  625. 42:08He is a master at using crooked sticks to paint straight lines,
  626. 42:12but our founders knew that they were not perfect,
  627. 42:14which is why our preamble says,
  628. 42:16in order to form a more perfect union,
  629. 42:20that the union should increase with quality over time.
  630. 42:24That is what the founders desired.
  631. 42:28And for those who would try to say
  632. 42:29that there was nothing unique about America's finding.
  633. 42:32You tell me why there's never been a United States
  634. 42:35of America anywhere else in the world.
  635. 42:38You answer that one for me.
  636. 42:40You tell me why.
  637. 42:42There's no other nation like our nation
  638. 42:44in the rest of the world.
  639. 42:46People risk life and limb to get here.
  640. 42:49Why?
  641. 42:52It's untrue when those who attempt to conceal
  642. 42:56and lie distort our history because they're endeavoring
  643. 43:00to jettison what we are and what we have been in order for us to become something different,
  644. 43:06far into what we are and far into what we have been. The reason for that, John Adams,
  645. 43:10George Washington already told us, this nation is only efficacious for the governance of a
  646. 43:20religious and moral people. It is inadequate for any other. So if we want to respond
  647. 43:28to Benjamin Franklin's if you can keep it.
  648. 43:32We can't allow ourselves to devolve
  649. 43:39into some godless populism.
  650. 43:41We cannot allow ourselves to embrace a new vote conservatism
  651. 43:46to where sexual immorality is just as welcomed
  652. 43:49as fiscal irresponsibility.
  653. 43:52We cannot reject the Biblical truth and expect,
  654. 43:57no pun intended, to make America great.
  655. 44:02America never, America can never be great if we reject biblical truth.
  656. 44:08Can't happen. Cannot happen.
  657. 44:12Now I don't care who you are.
  658. 44:14I will say this to Mr. Trump to his face and he probably would agree with me,
  659. 44:22but he will also need as a desire had,
  660. 44:26cause notice when I got lost in the sauce, he didn't decide himself.
  661. 44:31Hey, you know what?
  662. 44:31I realize I've exceeded my jurisdiction.
  663. 44:34No, it took 80 strong preach led by Azariah.
  664. 44:36Say, man, you exceeded your violence, chief.
  665. 44:40You won't get any honor from the Lord for this.
  666. 44:45And the Scriptures' intention about saying the priests were
  667. 44:47valiant men.
  668. 44:49I want to remind you in Scripture when valor is employed,
  669. 44:53valor is not just courage, valor is courage in battle.
  670. 44:56Say it in a different way.
  671. 44:58The priest was about that action.
  672. 45:00Say something if you want, but you get not out of here.
  673. 45:03They kicked the king out of the temple.
  674. 45:07What I'm saying, God has said in His Word that He's invested
  675. 45:10to this church to be the pillar and ground of truth.
  676. 45:14The Lord's bride cannot be feckless and toothless and
  677. 45:17spineless if we are truly going to have a great nation.
  678. 45:24There must be an urgency to be about our father's business.
  679. 45:31And I would just point out to you on the civic side,
  680. 45:36what President Trump's mandate must be employed in these next two years.
  681. 45:41You don't have time to ramp up because there's another election in the US Senate,
  682. 45:47The full third of the Senate will be up for election in 2026.
  683. 45:52This time it will be a third of Republican seats that will be, will have incumbents in
  684. 45:57them.
  685. 45:58So the same switching of the majority in the Senate, the same thing could happen in 2026.
  686. 46:05You see this fight in the US Senate right now and so who will be the majority leader?
  687. 46:10I want to remind everybody, Mitch McConnell opposed President Trump's agenda agenda in
  688. 46:162016.
  689. 46:17I don't know if people don't like to talk about that, but he did.
  690. 46:23Two out of three people up for Senate Majority Leadership are descended, I'm not descended,
  691. 46:27it's disciples of Mitch McConnell.
  692. 46:32The last few moments I'm going to say, we have not any anything.
  693. 46:39We've been ushered into a new beginning for our nation.
  694. 46:44If you thought prayer was needed to get through Election Day, buckle your seat nubs.
  695. 46:50We must, we must, we must be on our faces, crying out to the Lord for our nation.
  696. 46:56as we get up from off of our faces, put feet to pavement
  697. 47:01and executing what he calls us to.
  698. 47:03You've heard me say numerous times and I'll say it here again,
  699. 47:06worship is not limited to an activity.
  700. 47:08Worship is a lifestyle.
  701. 47:09The pinnacle of the lifestyle of worship is obedience.
  702. 47:14As I said before, now we're post-election.
  703. 47:17What is your vision?
  704. 47:20Post-election.
  705. 47:22As Tim said when he was on the program,
  706. 47:24What needs to happen is everybody needs to carton off our own yard and put brick by brick by brick where we are.
  707. 47:31But by God's grace, He's granted us mercy for a new beginning.
