  5. 0:15Delivery people out of the bondage of mainstream media.
  6. 0:18And the philosophies of this world.
  7. 0:20God has called you and me to be His ambassador.
  8. 0:24Even in this dark moment.
  9. 0:26Let's not miss our moment.
  10. 0:29And now the Hamilton Corner.
  11. 0:33Good evening, everyone. Welcome to the Hamilton Corner right here on American Family Radio.
  12. 0:39I'm just going to tell you right now, you do not want to turn away from this show. I have to tell
  13. 0:45you so much has been happening along with you. I've been praying and fasting for our nation. And
  14. 0:49I have to tell you that God has given me a great peace, a great peace. Come with me.
  15. 0:58And I do have my inclinations as to what's happening and what will happen and I'll get to that
  16. 1:03But I just want to begin by saying
  17. 1:05Come what may we have to express honor and privilege of serving our Lord in this day that he has ordained
  18. 1:13For us. He has appointed for us. I pray that you are setting yourselves
  19. 1:19Full what I believe will be the next course in
  20. 1:22in America's history and our opportunity to be his hands and feet in this next stage.
  21. 1:29I truly believe that tomorrow, November 6th begins the next phase in America's history
  22. 1:36by God's divine providence and we have the express privilege of being his ambassadors in this
  23. 1:42time.
  24. 1:43Welcome to the Hamilton Corner.
  25. 1:44My name is Abraham Hamilton, the third.
  26. 1:46I'm the host of this program joined by the Corner contingent right across from me, your friendly
  27. 1:51neighborhood recovering with a holic perpetually that is and I'm telling the man is one who knows
  28. 1:58his way around the wood I'm gonna just say it to you like that. Just say it to you like that.
  29. 2:03I'm gonna say it to you like that joined by produce extraordinaire in the screening room off
  30. 2:07and then often imitated but never duplicated the real J. Mac ladies and gentlemen we are ready
  31. 2:14to rock and roll with today's edition of the program and I have to tell you and this may seem
  32. 2:18counterintuitive to many, but I'm excited to be alive right now. I'm excited to be alive right now.
  33. 2:26I'm excited to be an American citizen right now. I'm most importantly excited to be a member of God's
  34. 2:33eternal family who has been dispatched to the United States of America in this particular juncture
  35. 2:41of human history. At this very moment, many of you, if not most of you are making your transition from
  36. 2:48your part time jobs where you generate an income to your full time jobs where you cultivate an
  37. 2:52outcome. And as you do so, I want to remind you to do so with intentionality. Understand
  38. 2:59in the primacy that God places on family. Understanding that his mandate for his ambassadors at each
  39. 3:05generation is to execute his commission. That our prime operative is to be is to execute his
  40. 3:13commission, he knows the variables of our life stages, of our familial context, whether
  41. 3:20we're married, whether we're unmarried, how many children we have, which stage of life that
  42. 3:24we're in, our socioeconomic status and all of those variables, he nevertheless calls us
  43. 3:29to be members of his body, which eat with each joint supplying without one member looking
  44. 3:36at another, an inviously desiring to be the other member of the function in the capacity
  45. 3:42of the other member, but recognizing that every member has his role, every member has her role
  46. 3:48to play. What a time, what a time, what a time to be alive. We will begin the program today
  47. 3:55as is our custom by turning to the Word of God. It is imperative that we refuse to endeavor
  48. 4:04to navigate this life by separating ourselves from God's Word and attempting to engage. You
  49. 4:11know that we embrace the word of God and we engage through the wisdom that he has provided
  50. 4:16us in his holy word, which is not some static book.
  51. 4:20It actually is living and active.
  52. 4:23It has been made available to us.
  53. 4:26We're going to begin today's program in the book of Haggai.
  54. 4:29And we're like, who?
  55. 4:32Haggai, the book of Haggai, named after his author.
  56. 4:37Haggai's name means festival.
  57. 4:39The book of Haggai was written in about 520 BC.
  58. 4:43This is a post-exilic prophetic book.
  59. 4:48Some of you may recall that King Cyrus, the Persian, issued his decree in about 538 BC.
  60. 4:55This is when the decree was issued to allow the Jews to return to Jerusalem.
  61. 5:00This is after what began as the Babylonian exile.
  62. 5:03Then you had the transition of global superpowers from the Babylonians to the Medes and then
  63. 5:07the Medo-Persian rule and then the Persian rule where Cyrus issued his decree in 538 BC.
  64. 5:14to allow the Jews to return to Jerusalem,
  65. 5:17to both ultimately rebuild the temple
  66. 5:20and then the wall of Jerusalem,
  67. 5:22but the temple is what is in view in the book of Haggai.
  68. 5:27Well, what may not be obvious to many people
  69. 5:31is that those Cyrus issues this degree,
  70. 5:33and you have this tremendous fulfillment
  71. 5:36of the prophetic warnings and the prophetic writings
  72. 5:38of Jeremiah and others that the exile would only be 70 years,
  73. 5:42but the Lord would allow these people to return.
  74. 5:45But you have then this kind of Babylonianized,
  75. 5:50Hebrewic people, some of them struggling
  76. 5:52to understand the language,
  77. 5:54many of them estranged from the law of God.
  78. 5:57And so they returned back to Jerusalem,
  79. 5:59but there's a law from 538 BC.
  80. 6:01Now, Haggai is there at about 520 BC,
  81. 6:05and the temple construction, reconstruction has been stalled.
  82. 6:08You had Samaritans and others around the area
  83. 6:11who are actively opposing God's people
  84. 6:15their efforts to rebuild, and people like Tobias and Sandballot, who are not only nagging, but
  85. 6:22they're attempting to use force to prevent God's people from doing what is done.
  86. 6:27And so the Lord sends Haggai, Haggai, to be His instrument, to encourage His people to
  87. 6:39resume the work.
  88. 6:41This is the background, guys, of what is happening here.
  89. 6:46And I want to focus your attention to today is Haggai chapter two, verses one through five.
  90. 6:52And this is what the word of God says on the 21st of the seventh month, the word of the
  91. 6:59Lord came by Haggai, the prophet saying, speak now to the rubable, the son of shield to you,
  92. 7:07governor of Judah and to Joshua, the son of Jehazadak, the high priest and to the remnant
  93. 7:14of the people saying, who is left among you who saw this temple in its former glory?
  94. 7:21And how do you see it now?
  95. 7:24Does it not seem to you like nothing in comparison?
  96. 7:28But now take courage as a rubable declares the Lord.
  97. 7:31Take courage also Joshua, son of Jehazadak, the high priest.
  98. 7:35And all you people of the land take courage declares the Lord.
  99. 7:40And work, and work for I am with you, declares the Lord of hosts.
  100. 7:49As for the promise which I made you, when you came out of Egypt, my spirit is abiding
  101. 7:55in your midst.
  102. 7:57Do not fear.
  103. 8:00Oh, man.
  104. 8:03Thank you, Lord.
  105. 8:04The book of Isaiah begins in chapter one verse one.
  106. 8:06What Isaiah is saying, sorry, what took I had with I said the book of Isaiah, the book of
  107. 8:09Haggai begins in chapter one verse one saying in the second year of Darius the king, this
  108. 8:15is when Darius becomes king after Cyrus had already issued the decree.
  109. 8:19Darius is also a military general in the Persian Empire.
  110. 8:23When we get in chapter two, when it says,
  111. 8:25on the 21st day of the seventh month,
  112. 8:27this is actually October 17th, 520 BC.
  113. 8:31This date is the next to the last,
  114. 8:34to the end of the Feast of Tabernacles.
  115. 8:37Remember what I said?
  116. 8:38Hi guys, name means festival, means feasting.
  117. 8:43The second to the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles,
  118. 8:47You have the Jews in Jerusalem with a depressed spirit.
  119. 8:53The environment was very melancholy, very downtrodden
  120. 8:57as they are in the rubble.
  121. 8:59That's still that trying to recover from what was imposed
  122. 9:02upon the Jews by Babylon.
  123. 9:06Remember as an instrument of God's judgment.
  124. 9:08And so you have this depressed condition
  125. 9:10and it is in this environment,
  126. 9:12the Lord dispatch haggai to talk to both Zerubah,
  127. 9:16the civic governor and Joshua, the high priest.
  128. 9:19It's important that you note that.
  129. 9:21He doesn't highlight one or the other.
  130. 9:22He doesn't speak to the civic government structure
  131. 9:25or to the priest separately.
  132. 9:26He's speaking to them both
  133. 9:28as both have specific contributions to the reconstruction
  134. 9:33that God is requiring,
  135. 9:35that the rebuilding will take place out of the rubble
  136. 9:40that is there.
  137. 9:41He continues on and says,
  138. 9:43who has left among you who saw this temple in its former glory.
  139. 9:47See again, when you consider the dates 520 BC, this is about this is
  140. 9:53within the timespan of those who might be in their 70s who lived through
  141. 9:58Babylonian exile, having been exiled as children who will still remember
  142. 10:02the tangible physical glory of Solomon's temple.
  143. 10:05It's splendor, the gold and the wood and and all of the physical
  144. 10:10evidences of splendor and even opulence.
  145. 10:15And the Lord through Haggai is saying, how many of you remember that?
  146. 10:18Now, when you remember that and we see what the temple looks like now,
  147. 10:22does it seem like nothing in comparison to you?
  148. 10:25Does it make you think, man, this is look at how far we've fallen.
  149. 10:32Look at where we are currently.
  150. 10:34We used to be, I remember when, stop me if any of that sounds familiar.
  151. 10:42And in the face of that, the Lord says through Haggai,
  152. 10:45but now take courage, Zerubah, declares the Lord,
  153. 10:50Take courage also Joshua, son of Jehah's Adak, the high priest, but not just the governor and the high priest, all of you people of the land.
  154. 10:59It's the governor, it's the priest, and all of the people of the land take courage, declares the Lord.
  155. 11:07Take courage for what God, just to be comfortable, take courage for what Lord, so we can feel better, so we can hold our chest and rock back and forth, and go mmm.
  156. 11:16No, take courage, why?
  157. 11:18and work! Take courage and work! Why are we working Lord? For I am with you. Look at
  158. 11:28verse 4. For I am with you. The rubble doesn't dictate whether I'm present or not.
  159. 11:34The disparate circumstances don't dictate whether I'm present or not.
  160. 11:39Your comparison to your condition today versus what it was years ago is not
  161. 11:44determinative as to whether or not I am present. I am present because I am
  162. 11:50telling you that I am present.
  163. 11:54In verse five, this is what the promise I made to you,
  164. 11:56when you came out of Egypt, my spirit abides with you.
  165. 12:01Now, my spirit, guys, this is one of the most encouraging texts
  166. 12:05from the Old Testament.
  167. 12:06It may not seem like it, but when you take into consideration
  168. 12:11the context of this passage, where they're looking around
  169. 12:14at this decimation, you can even imagine the the the fuhrer
  170. 12:18and the excitement when Cyrus issues his decree in 538,
  171. 12:22but then to have all of that kind of water poured,
  172. 12:26a wet blanket poured over that flame,
  173. 12:27because now it's almost two decades after that decree.
  174. 12:31You can imagine some saying, man,
  175. 12:32we're never gonna have a temple.
  176. 12:35We're never gonna see this again.
  177. 12:38And it is in that moment, God dispatches,
  178. 12:40hey God, it's take courage.
  179. 12:42Do not fear, work for I am with you.
  180. 12:45And by way of reminder, the reason why you are not to fear,
  181. 12:49It is not some humanistic mind over matter.
  182. 12:51It is not some braggadocious internal observation
  183. 12:55based on who we are alone.
  184. 12:56The reason why you are not to fear,
  185. 12:58because I am abiding in your midst.
  186. 13:02Haggai goes on into prophesies that the glory
  187. 13:05of this latter temple will exceed the former temple.
  188. 13:08Now that makes completely zero sense
  189. 13:10when you think about the natural comparison.
  190. 13:12And do you remember what we had?
  191. 13:16Was Solomon?
  192. 13:18gold, shields and all, not copper.
  193. 13:21And he's talking about the glory is gonna be greater
  194. 13:24in this second go round.
  195. 13:26You have, you must be crazy, mate.
  196. 13:28Hey man, I gotta play for you to go, man.
  197. 13:30We got a jacket and you know, maybe straight.
  198. 13:32You may hard time working around, man,
  199. 13:33but you might be crazy.
  200. 13:35But what had guy didn't even realize,
  201. 13:37that God was declaring prophetically what was to occur.
  202. 13:42When his presence in his temple is no longer
  203. 13:45a physical structure, but he's rejecting to a new covenant
  204. 13:49when the temple is one that is not made of brick and mortar,
  205. 13:52but it is comprised of the hearts and minds of his people
  206. 13:55to wear the echosy of God, the called out ones,
  207. 13:58to where the spirit of God doesn't visit individuals
  208. 14:01from time to time, but whosoever will let him come,
  209. 14:03for as many as come to me, they will have the capacity
  210. 14:07to be indwelled by his spirit in regeneration.
  211. 14:10This is what the Lord was pointing to,
  212. 14:12prophetically through Hagar.
  213. 14:15But the key component is do not fear
  214. 14:17because I am in your midst.
  215. 14:20Just as the scripture bears this out,
  216. 14:22I know America is not Israel,
  217. 14:25but God is still God.
  218. 14:27And God is the one who has the final say
  219. 14:29concerning what America is and what she will be.
  220. 14:32You and I do not have the authority to say what is
  221. 14:35and what will not be, but God by His spirit
  222. 14:38is endeavoring to remind us that He is still in our midst.
  223. 14:42And God does not need a voting majority
  224. 14:45for His will to be done.
  225. 14:46What God requires is you plus Him,
  226. 14:49are a majority.
  227. 14:50What our posture must be is what come with me.
  228. 14:53We know you are in our midst.
  229. 15:04Shiting light into the darkness,
  230. 15:06this is the Hamilton Corner, an American family radio.
  231. 15:10Welcome back to the Hamilton Corner, Abraham Hamilton
  232. 15:13the third year.
  233. 15:15I truly believe that is where we are as a nation,
  234. 15:18not identical to, but similar to Haggai
  235. 15:23and the context of the environment when the Lord dispatched him to minister in Jerusalem that we
  236. 15:29have an opportunity because we are in an America with a bit of rubble to a sense, especially,
  237. 15:35morally and spiritually. And what we will be is within God's divine providence, but we have the
  238. 15:42opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus and seeking a construction that is consistent with his
  239. 15:49This will, hence my encouragement the last few weeks, what is your plans for November 6th?
  240. 16:02What is your commitment for November 6th?
  241. 16:05I want to read some things to you, things that are familiar to most of us.
  242. 16:12But it's worth revisiting this.
  243. 16:15July 4th, 1776, the unanimous declaration of the 13 United States of America, when in the
  244. 16:24The course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands
  245. 16:30which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth the
  246. 16:37separate and equal station to which the laws of nature and of nature's God entitle them.
  247. 16:46A decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes
  248. 16:52which impel them to separation. We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are
  249. 17:02created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator, capital, by the way, with certain unalienable
  250. 17:11rights that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, that to secure
  251. 17:19Before these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from
  252. 17:24the consent of the governed, that whenever any form of government becomes destructive
  253. 17:30of these ends, it is the right of the people.
  254. 17:34Right is capitalized here, the right of the people, capital P, to alter or abolish it,
  255. 17:43and to institute new government capital G, laying its foundation on such principles and
  256. 17:48organizing its powers in such form as to them shall seem most likely to affect their safety
  257. 17:55capital S and happiness capital H. Our founders articulated the just pursuit of our separation
  258. 18:12from England with a direct appeal to natural law. As you've heard me explain before, everyone
  259. 18:19alive in the literate world of the late 18th century when this declaration of independence
  260. 18:24was drafted would have heard the phrase, the laws of nature and nature's God as a direct
  261. 18:31reference to the authority of the God of the Bible in a description of a national entitlement
  262. 18:45that nations are entitled by God to live according to these self-evident truths.
  263. 18:58That was the initiation of what became what has become the United States of America.
  264. 19:08Now what people often forget is that after this time period, the Revolutionary War is
  265. 19:14fought and you have an experimental period under something called the Articles of Confederation.
  266. 19:22It was the failures frankly of the fledgling nation under the Articles of Confederation
  267. 19:31that led first to the Mount Vernon, Vernon meeting at George Washington's home that wasn't
  268. 19:38heavily attended.
  269. 19:40But the Mount Vernon meeting at George Washington's home, George Washington's home created the opportunity
  270. 19:48for what was described as the Annapolis Convention,
  271. 19:54where Alexander Hamilton invited the states to send delegates
  272. 19:57to this next meeting that was to take place in Philadelphia
  273. 20:02in 1787.
  274. 20:05And it was during the Philadelphia, 1787 meeting
  275. 20:10that the mission statement of the declaration
  276. 20:15received its implementation mechanism
  277. 20:18and what we now know to be our US Constitution.
  278. 20:22drafted first and ultimately,
  279. 20:24drafted in 1787, ultimately ratified finally in 1790.
  280. 20:29But that US Constitution begins thusly.
  281. 20:33We the people of the United States,
  282. 20:38in order to form a more perfect union,
  283. 20:41establish justice, ensure domestic tranquility,
  284. 20:45provide for the common defense,
  285. 20:46promote the general welfare and secure the blessings
  286. 20:51of liberty to ourselves and our posterity,
  287. 20:55do ordain and establish this constitution for the United States of America.
  288. 21:00What began in 1776 was further elucidated 11 years later in 1787.
  289. 21:09Our nation is unlike any other nation in the history of the world, where the we the people
  290. 21:17of our constitutional preamble is meant to be the implementation mechanism of a recognition
  291. 21:24of the self-evident truths made evident by the laws of nature and nature's God.
  292. 21:31These two, these twain principles provide the guardrails, the railroad tracks, if you will,
  293. 21:39for this United States of America.
  294. 21:44This is why there's such a feverish, I would argue, demonic attempt to rewrite, to conceal,
  295. 21:50to obscure our nation's history because you cannot look at the founding of this nation without
  296. 21:56seeing the God of this nation's founding.
  297. 22:01Even when you read the preamble, when you get to the portion of it where it says to secure
  298. 22:06the blessings of Liberty blessings is capital B. Similar to the understanding that the reference
  299. 22:13to the laws of nature and of nature's God would have been understood in the late 18th
  300. 22:18as a synonymous reference to the laws of the God of the Bible,
  301. 22:22the exact same people would have recognized
  302. 22:24that wherever there are blessings,
  303. 22:27you are seeing the evidence of the Blesser.
  304. 22:31There can be no blessings without a Blesser.
  305. 22:38Would we have the opportunity today?
  306. 22:40And I've been talking about this.
  307. 22:42Yesterday I mentioned that God required the kings of Israel
  308. 22:46to hand write their own copy of his law,
  309. 22:49to keep it with them all of their days,
  310. 22:50to meditate upon it daily to write their copy in the presence of the Levites for the people
  311. 22:58to know that this is what is requiring of their kings. Yes, there was a drift to where
  312. 23:05when Josiah arises, they didn't even know there was a such thing as a book of the law.
  313. 23:09The temple had become in such disarray. He began his reformation project was saying, man,
  314. 23:13we need to get this dusty temple. You know, the same one that the remnant of Jews in 520
  315. 23:18we're mourning over and not looking like.
  316. 23:20And similar to what we know from scripture,
  317. 23:27our nation has experienced a drift.
  318. 23:29You can say whatever you wanna say,
  319. 23:31but you cannot successfully refute the notion
  320. 23:34that we have experienced a drift,
  321. 23:39but we have the opportunity to change course.
  322. 23:44We have the opportunity to reverse course,
  323. 23:47that when we consider liberty,
  324. 23:49we don't detach liberty from the fact
  325. 23:50that liberty is a blessing.
  326. 23:53The blessings of liberty flow from a blesser in our declaration.
  327. 24:00When Thomas Jefferson, the penman,
  328. 24:01but remember he was a part of a committee,
  329. 24:05when he articulates the self-evident truths
  330. 24:10among which governments are instituted among men
  331. 24:17to secure these rights,
  332. 24:19because these governments derive their just powers
  333. 24:22from the governed.
  334. 24:23But whenever government becomes destructive
  335. 24:27of the self-evident truths becomes destructive of these unalienable rights.
  336. 24:33It is the right of the people to alter.
  337. 24:38It is the right capital R to change course.
  338. 24:42Brothers and sisters, we have our right to change course.
  339. 24:48You've heard me lament on this program that one of the great detriments of modern American
  340. 24:53life is that we're looking to government to address things that God is ordained as church
  341. 24:58to lead the way in, but it doesn't have to continue to be that way.
  342. 25:04When I'm saying that we have the opportunity to launch into the next phase of American
  343. 25:12history, our nation will be what we allow it to be.
  344. 25:25What will we make of the liberties that we enjoy, of the time that God has given us, of
  345. 25:31the land that God has planted us in, of the freedoms he has made available to us?
  346. 25:37In many ways, our societal degradation has flowed contemporaneous with the churches winnowing
  347. 25:45and influence and potency.
  348. 25:47And I'm going to say this very plainly, and I hope everybody in the country is listening
  349. 25:52to me right now.
  350. 25:55We will never be able to be effective in external fruit bearing when we persist continually
  351. 26:02in unholyness and personal living.
  352. 26:04What we often see manifesting itself publicly is the reflection of the decay of the heart.
  353. 26:15But thanks be to God, thanks be to God that we're not limited to our own wherewithal.
  354. 26:30And if God could get a hold of us individually.
  355. 26:33In many ways I believe this is what the Lord is truly attempting to accomplish because the
  356. 26:37world is going to work.
  357. 26:42But will He or day to be the pillar and ground of truth, His church?
  358. 26:46He is ordained to be salt and light.
  359. 26:48We become lightly salted by him.
  360. 26:57But by God's grace, we have an opportunity to change course.
  361. 27:01And I want to be clear about something else as well.
  362. 27:05I know for a fact, there is no political candidate that's
  363. 27:08the savior of America.
  364. 27:10Miss me with all of that.
  365. 27:17God nevertheless is sovereign and given his people
  366. 27:19an opportunity to respond.
  367. 27:25What will we do in light of where we are?
  368. 27:34First posing on the east coast of our nation,
  369. 27:36some places have already closed.
  370. 27:38We have about another 25 minutes before other states begin to close some things that I want
  371. 27:44to share with you just so that you can be aware.
  372. 27:47I would encourage you to tune in to stay tuned and I should say to a F.R. election coverage
  373. 27:52after my program ends.
  374. 27:54I'll be a part of portions of that coverage as well.
  375. 27:58When things concluded last night after I got off the air, you know, I was delving into
  376. 28:03some numbers and things of that nature.
  377. 28:05Historically, voters who support Democrat candidates outpace Republican voters significantly in
  378. 28:13early voting.
  379. 28:14Well, in six of the seven battleground swing states, early voting between, in terms of those
  380. 28:22who participated in Republicans and Democrats, were about tied.
  381. 28:27The only exception to that was Pennsylvania.
  382. 28:30So in Georgia, North Carolina, Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, Nevada, early voting was about tied.
  383. 28:38historical trends hold true and let me let me go back and say something else to you that the
  384. 28:45reason for the for the for the statistical tie in early voting participation is it necessarily
  385. 28:54an overwhelming surge among voters who are Republican it's actually in a dilution and turnout
  386. 29:02of Democrat voters.
  387. 29:06All right.
  388. 29:07Now, if historical trends hold true,
  389. 29:10because just as early voting historically
  390. 29:12has been dominated by Democrat voters,
  391. 29:14election day voting historically has been dominated
  392. 29:17by Republican voters.
  393. 29:18If historical trends hold true in this regard,
  394. 29:24in this regard, it could indicate,
  395. 29:28obviously I'm not saying it will,
  396. 29:29it could indicate a victory for President Trump
  397. 29:35at the top of the ticket.
  398. 29:38but there also are a host of down ballot issues.
  399. 29:41And I've been explaining this before.
  400. 29:43There's 34 sentences that are up,
  401. 29:46that are up for election.
  402. 29:48You have several that have, that are potential flips.
  403. 29:52I direct you to look at this race in Montana,
  404. 29:56to look at the race in West Virginia.
  405. 29:58Well, Joe Manchin has changed his affiliation.
  406. 30:04Now, what I'm discussing now
  407. 30:05is just some of the practical details.
  408. 30:07You know, what I'm just discussing now is,
  409. 30:09Think about when Paul was incarcerated and you had really members of the Sanhedrin trying to kill Paul.
  410. 30:15They had a scheme to kill him and the Lord revealed it to Paul and Paul told his nephew.
  411. 30:21Remember this in the book of Acts? But before that the Lord already assured Paul,
  412. 30:26I know you've been beaten, you're bloodied, but you must testify to me in Rome just as you've done
  413. 30:29here in Jerusalem. So he assured Paul that he wasn't going to die in Jerusalem even though
  414. 30:34there are people out to try to kill him there. That's the spiritual reality that got revealed to Paul
  415. 30:38And then the practical reality on the ground was Paul's nephew heard about the scheme heard about the plot Paul instructors nephew to go and tell
  416. 30:45The authorities that this is happening and then before they could execute the plot the authorities wished to Paul away from Jerusalem and to Cessaria Philippi
  417. 30:52So what I'm talking to now about these practical
  418. 30:55Electoral results a just that the practical information
  419. 30:59But never forget God is sovereign and he rules and reigns in the affairs of men
  420. 31:06So as I have been saying, I'm going to give you this information, but I want to encourage
  421. 31:11you to take heart, do not fear, and embrace what God's vision is for you and me and for
  422. 31:16his family and our nation that starts tomorrow.
  423. 31:21What will we be?
  424. 31:22Brothers and sisters, what such a time is this God is afforded for us to be alive.
  425. 31:27For those of us who are believers, the Lord has allowed us to be members of eternal family,
  426. 31:33dwelled by his spirit. And I for one am excited to be a part of God's plan for
  427. 31:39Ireland in this time. And I would encourage you to open your heart equally
  428. 31:45what God would have for you because as every joint supplies, I'm faithful where
  429. 31:49I've been positioned and you faithful where you've been you've been positioned
  430. 31:53duty is ours results of the Lord.
  431. 32:03The Hamilton Quarter podcast and one-minute common terrors are available at
  432. 32:08AFR.net back to the Hamilton Corner on American Family Radio.
  433. 32:14Welcome back to the Hamilton Corner, man.
  434. 32:15It's flew by. We're already in the third segment.
  435. 32:18It's just, it's amazing how you have,
  436. 32:23and we've discussed this before,
  437. 32:24but you just have consistent evidences of it,
  438. 32:27the type of projection that transpires over and over and over
  439. 32:31and over and over and over and over again.
  440. 32:33You have those who frankly, they simply lie to try to provoke
  441. 32:37an emotional upheaval in people, they call President Trump, they get fascist and all this
  442. 32:44kind of stuff.
  443. 32:45And the whole point is to get people to get that, you know, he did serve as president.
  444. 32:51He has been in the Oval Office.
  445. 32:54There was no none of these things that you talk about, but they want people to forget those
  446. 32:59types of things.
  447. 33:00And where you have those making these accusations, they conduct themselves in such a way where
  448. 33:06where they reveal, well, the truthful reality is that they want to be what they're accusing
  449. 33:11other people of.
  450. 33:12Here's a late example, a recent example of that.
  451. 33:15It comes from none other than Rachel Maddow at that place.
  452. 33:23She begins to explain her desire to see the government contracts with SpaceX and all now,
  453. 33:32now, now that she has learned Elon Musk's true colors.
  454. 33:37Now, he no longer should be able to have these contracts.
  455. 33:42Listen to and watch clip number one.
  456. 33:44Go.
  457. 33:45Even if Trump doesn't win, the Defense Department and NASA are going to need a new arrangement
  458. 33:50for all their rockets.
  459. 33:52And for all the multi-billion dollar contracts, Elon Musk's companies have with the U.S.
  460. 33:58government.
  461. 33:59The U.S.
  462. 34:00government is going to have to either unwind from all of those contracts or Elon Musk's
  463. 34:06Companies are going to have to unwind from him.
  464. 34:10This is an untenable reality in national security terms.
  465. 34:16Now that we know what we know about Elon Musk.
  466. 34:19Now, aren't these the same people that scream fascist?
  467. 34:22Fascist? Fascist?
  468. 34:26Yet. What have you learned now?
  469. 34:30Madam Madau, that you didn't know before. Oh.
  470. 34:33Oh, oh, he has different political inclinations.
  471. 34:36then you thought then he had previously.
  472. 34:39You notice you never saw none of this
  473. 34:40when these folks, when he's making these green cars,
  474. 34:43he's making his robots, you know,
  475. 34:44he's talking about he wants to live on the moon.
  476. 34:46None of that, none of that, none of that caused them to say,
  477. 34:49oh, he has to uncouple from his government contracts.
  478. 34:53These billion dollars of government contracts,
  479. 34:57none of that indicated he had to uncouple
  480. 35:00from his government contracts, none of that.
  481. 35:03Now that we've learned his true colors,
  482. 35:05man, and you're the one that screams about fascism.
  483. 35:08Literally.
  484. 35:10And this is what I'm talking about.
  485. 35:11And I know many of you listening to me, y'all tell me I get the emails, I get the notes, I
  486. 35:14get the calls.
  487. 35:15Like, hey, people don't believe me when I tell them the stuff you share with us.
  488. 35:20This is one of the exact same people who would talk about fascism all day long in terms of
  489. 35:24President Trump being a fascist.
  490. 35:26Yet she doesn't even recognize what she's advocating for.
  491. 35:29It's straight up fascism, or even worse.
  492. 35:31She does recognize that it's straight up fascism, but she wants you to misunderstand what she's
  493. 35:38asking for.
  494. 35:39None of these people had none of this rhythm for Elon Musk when they thought he was a committed lefty
  495. 35:45And the thing is on a lot of things he still is
  496. 35:49But he had the horrible experience of one of these, you know, dr. Johanna Olsen Kennedy type people and that's what that's what I don't want to talk about
  497. 36:00Man, I don't want to talk about what is the one what why has Elon Musk changed course like this?
  498. 36:05because his own
  499. 36:07Sun
  500. 36:09Had one of these lying doctors who if they would have had the study that was concealed from the American public
  501. 36:15they probably would advise his very own family.
  502. 36:19Do you want a living daughter or a dead son?
  503. 36:26And then you get all the other things,
  504. 36:27the economic considerations, his attempts to do business,
  505. 36:30and he's coming into government red tape
  506. 36:32over and over and over again.
  507. 36:35Then you literally see, these are the people talking about,
  508. 36:37oh, we need to make sure y'all,
  509. 36:38because you know, these old black people here,
  510. 36:40they can't get ID's, you see?
  511. 36:42So that's why we can't have voter IDs,
  512. 36:44like, the only reason why you don't want people
  513. 36:46to have voter IDs is because you want to cheat.
  514. 36:48We have IDs for everything, library cards.
  515. 36:55It's insane, man.
  516. 36:57And you use these words, you throw them out so much,
  517. 37:00the exact, the express purpose of using it
  518. 37:02is to completely deprive these words of their meaning.
  519. 37:05So that we have no substantive understanding society
  520. 37:08of what these words mean, and we all we have
  521. 37:10is the emotional inclination that is connected to them.
  522. 37:13So now, because Elon Musk's politics diverged
  523. 37:17from Rachel Madows and the regressive,
  524. 37:19Regressive left in our country now all of a sudden
  525. 37:23Oh either either
  526. 37:26Elon Musk can't have any more contracts or Elon Musk can't have his company pick one
  527. 37:31Guys is sick is sick
  528. 37:38We've gotten to the place
  529. 37:43Who has not merely partisanship it is sanity in reality versus insanity and
  530. 37:50Detachment from reality that is where we are
  531. 37:53Our society has degraded to such a place that that is where we are.
  532. 38:01Hence, my description, in light of what is available to us in the Book of Hagai, that
  533. 38:07we're at a place where we are confronted with rubble.
  534. 38:14Where do we go from here?
  535. 38:19Do we lean further into the insanity and the detachment from reality?
  536. 38:29Do we go further?
  537. 38:30Or do we recognize, I don't like this rollercoaster, I'm ready to get off.
  538. 38:38This is where we are.
  539. 38:40And come with me, this is a context that God has given us.
  540. 38:45Another just an indication of where things are.
  541. 38:50A report that just came out from the National Association of Realtors.
  542. 38:55The average age of home buyers in the US has risen by six years just from July of 2023.
  543. 39:02risen to an average age of 56 years old. Listen to this brief report.
  544. 39:06It's clip number two. Go. Okay, there's a new survey out from the National Association of Realtors
  545. 39:11and what it finds is that first-time home buyers between July of 2023 and July of this year
  546. 39:18were richer and older than they were before, which is to say first-time home buyers in that period
  547. 39:25had a median income of $97,000, that is up from a little bit under $96,000 the year before.
  548. 39:33The more interesting number here is the median age of first-time home buyers. It's now 38. That
  549. 39:38is a record high. A generation ago, the typical first-time home buyer was somebody in their late
  550. 39:4420s. So that's a huge difference in terms of the ability to afford a home, the ability to start
  551. 39:50transitioning your family into home ownership and as the realtors observed, quote, the people
  552. 39:55who can get in are really a select few.
  553. 40:00That's crazy.
  554. 40:01And it's just an indication clearly.
  555. 40:02This is not the end all be all of the status of affairs in our nation, but it is an indication
  556. 40:10that the trajectory we're going toward is moving away from independence and more on dependence.
  557. 40:16You know, there are two statistical references that we need to understand the distinctions
  558. 40:20average age versus median age, right?
  559. 40:23So you have an average age versus median age,
  560. 40:26the average age has jumped up to 56 years old.
  561. 40:29For first time, home buyers.
  562. 40:34First time, the median age,
  563. 40:37this is among those who have has jumped up to the late 30s.
  564. 40:44It needs to be in the 20s.
  565. 40:46Because we are cultivating a manner of living
  566. 40:50That is producing more dependence.
  567. 40:55Remember when you heard me say something before?
  568. 40:57That when you have people that champion themselves
  569. 40:59civically and politically that we are,
  570. 41:02we are the champions of the poor.
  571. 41:03What do they need in order to stay in power?
  572. 41:07They need poverty.
  573. 41:09So if you have a person that's present themselves
  574. 41:11to you as the champion of the poor
  575. 41:13and they want you to help them to remain in power,
  576. 41:18do you expect their positioning to aid you
  577. 41:23in becoming more or less poor.
  578. 41:27And here's the thing, this is why I'm presenting this to you.
  579. 41:29When you have a society that militates away from independence
  580. 41:35and more towards dependence,
  581. 41:37what's another synonym in terms of civic impact of dependence?
  582. 41:43Control.
  583. 41:45When you are dependent, you are easier to control.
  584. 41:49When you're independent, you are less easy to control.
  585. 41:54and you see this happening in many different ways,
  586. 41:57and I just wanted you to see that
  587. 42:02because the ultimate object for those
  588. 42:05who would be proponents of being champions of the poor
  589. 42:08is that they need poverty to stay in power.
  590. 42:11And when that transpires, the progressive edict
  591. 42:14as echoed by former Harvard Law School
  592. 42:16Dean Christopher Columbus Langdale,
  593. 42:18that government replaces God.
  594. 42:27We're at a critical juncture, critical, critical,
  595. 42:31critical juncture.
  596. 42:33But as I said to you before, and I'm excited for the opportunities that are available to us now,
  597. 42:39and mainly, and when I say opportunities, I mean the opportunities to be faithful,
  598. 42:46to be the Lord's hands and feet, to be a part of God doing through His people in our day what
  599. 42:53we've seen recorded in Scripture. That amazingly, when the heat by government, for example,
  600. 42:59Nero's Rome was elevated against the Lord's people.
  601. 43:02What happened with the Lord's bride?
  602. 43:04You know, you're talking about Bebe's kids,
  603. 43:06you can try to light us up like teaky torches.
  604. 43:08We don't die, we multiply.
  605. 43:09When the heat is applied,
  606. 43:12all throughout the history of the Lord's bride,
  607. 43:16that amplification of civic, personal,
  608. 43:21and physical heat did not result
  609. 43:24in a decimation of the Lord's witness through his people.
  610. 43:29It resulted in a refining, a purifying,
  611. 43:31and an augmenting of that witness.
  612. 43:35We have an opportunity for that to occur in our day.
  613. 43:38But we have a slightly different dynamic
  614. 43:40to where we're not subject to a monarchy
  615. 43:45like in Nero's Roman Empire.
  616. 43:49We have an opportunity to engage and determine
